He's Baaaaaaaack! Kenny Chesney Announces 2027 ALL Stadium Tour; Eric Church, Sheryl Crow Provide Music, Muscle

Some things are inevitable! After two years – and close to 400,000 tickets – exploring the deeply dimensional Sphere Las Vegas, Kenny Chesney ends the suspense by announcing his return to stadiums with the Original Vibe Room Tour 2027. Kicking off April 24 for his eighth appearance at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, the OVRT will play only stadiums, wrapping up at Foxboro’s Gillette Stadium August 28.

CMA 2020 Entertainer of the Year Eric Church, who not only toured with Chesney on the massive 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour, but came out nightly and sang with the East Tennessean, joins for the full run. Adding even more guitar-forward, songwriter-driven charge is Rock & Roll of Fame inductee, 9x GRAMMY winner and good friend Sheryl Crow.

“When we started to talk about touring next year, all I could think about was how good those stadiums feel… how loud, how fast, how much energy comes hurling at us,” Chesney says of the decision to do an all-stadium tour. “I don’t think I knew how much I missed it. And when it hit me, as well watching comments on Instagram and Facebook, I realized: we should make next year be all about the stadiums. So, we did.

“To make it really hit, I called Eric, who’d come out that first weekend in Vegas and sang a few with me, to see if he’d want to do this. He was in. Then to give fans a twist, something a little different, but someone who rocks and everyone in No Shoes Nation loves, I asked Sheryl Crow if she wanted to come play with us; and she said, ‘Yes.’ Suddenly, we’ve got all that high-powered energy, and it was starting to feel the same way we did way back in the day…”

That blast of excitement, the insanity of those first years of selling a million tickets every summer, there was no denying that passion. When Chesney started thinking about how much music he’d made, how many millions of miles he’d traveled, he realized not only was he fired up to get out there, it reminded him of 2002’s No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems Tour. And that’s when the tour name hit him.

“It was such a rush,” Chesney recalls. “And this feels just like that. Three people who know each other, are friends and loveto play taking it out on the road for the summer. That kind of camaraderie matches everything about what made me want to chase this dream in the first place, that adventure and fun defined us. For me, there was only one name: the Original Vibe Room Tour, because this time, with these people, I want everyone in the Vibe.

“We started the Vibe Room in 2002 as a place for our people – the adults, guests, musicians – to come together, get a drink, hang out, meet up, maybe make some new friends. It was a fun place, and I feel like that’s what 2027’s gonna be all about. So what else would we call it?”

Even more thrilling, beyond first-time plays in Greenville, N.C.’s home of the East Carolina University Pirates, and Ames, Iowa’s home of the Iowa State Cyclones, this tour marks homecomings across the line-up. After 24 shows at New England’s Gillette Stadium, it will mark Chesney’s 13th year in Pittsburgh and Detroit, 12th stadium show in Philadelphia, ninth stop in New Jersey, Dallas-Fort Worth and Kansas City, with Tampa and Chicago logging their eighth stadium concert.

“It’s crazy to think these stadiums where I see football played every week are like coming home for the band and myself, but also really No Shoes Nation which rose out of these stadium parking lots. Stadiums are where we come most alive – and this tour’s taking it to a whole other level.

“We’ve got this new album that’s already done insane things, starting with ‘Carry On,’ the very first single,” Chesney offers. “You can feel the energy around this music, Silver Sands Marina and the tracks that are already out there. We’ve got great new music to add in, plus so many songs that bring the summer to life. This is everything the band and I live for.”

In keeping with the spirit of returning to how it all began, Chesney has tapped fellow East Tennessee artist/songwriter Greylan James to open the powerhouse show. The Academy of Country Music Song of the Year winner – and CMA Song of the Year nominee – for Jordan Davis’ “Next Thing You Know” has notched hits for Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Chesney and more, as well as breaking into the Top 20 with his own “Water At A Wedding.”

“It’s gonna be an amazing summer. I can’t believe we’re here again, and I can’t wait to get out there and start doing it. The Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 is gonna be all the things, but especially a lot of fun, a lot of music and a lot of songs people have lived their lives to.

“Get ready. We’re coming.”

Summer Hoop Announces New EP "Self Disrespect" + Soundtracks Pop, Screams & Self-Sabotage on New Single "Tore Up"

Dark-pop breakout, Summer Hoop, steps into a messier, more self-aware era with the announcement of her upcoming EP, "Self Disrespect", out November 6 via Oxide Music. Accompanying today's announcement is the brand new track "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)", which channels a spiral of heartbreak, bad decisions, and emotional overcompensation into a loud, volatile freefall. Fans can listen to "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)" Below.

Exploring the impossible balancing act of wanting to be loved without having to change parts of yourself that feel too loud, complicated, or difficult to contain, her upcoming EP, "Self Disrespect" follows the moments where self-sabotage finally kicks in. As the relationship unravels, Summer Hoop turns its aftermath into "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)", an electric, neon-lit release where heartbreak and euphoria collide.

With the "Self Disrespect" era officially underway, Summer Hoop shares:

"I have never felt more confident in myself artistically and this EP is a really transparent form of self reflection that I’ve spent years running from in my personal life. I feel simultaneously so fragile and so incredibly tough most of the time and I feel like this EP really shows both sides of the same coin sonically and lyrically. Time to disrespect yourself (:"

Giving voice to the feelings behind "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)", Summer Hoop continues:

"I have an unfortunate list of reckless habits and destructive tendencies that I have tried to suppress in the pursuit of being what somebody else needs in a relationship. “Tore Up” is the inevitable ending every time, blacked out at the function, yelling over loud music, asking somebody to accept me and just let me be myself. It’s a bad cycle. They always leave, but the club lights are pretty, and I’m going to turn up with tears in my eyes."

Sitting at the intersection of glossy pop hooks and grittier, heavier undercurrents, Summer Hooppositions herself as a distinct new voice for fans of Poppy, Maggie Lindemann, and PVRIS. With a growing catalog and a bold artistic identity rooted in the contrast of beauty and chaos, Summer Hoop is quickly carving out a space of her own in the alternative landscape.

Following the release of her Oxide Music debut, "Mindlessly", Summer Hoop recently wrapped a run of Florida dates supporting Icon For Hire and will be hitting the road supporting Nate Vickers across five US dates.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Summer Hoop news coming soon.

ABOUT SUMMER HOOP

Based out of Tampa, FL, Summer Hoop has always had music at the center of her world. From being involved with theatre throughout her childhood to forming her own bands as she reached her teenage years, music has always been a focus point. “I didn’t ever see anything else for my life. My dad started bringing me to concerts when I was a literal child at 4 years old. His deep love for rock and alternative music got me into music. I’m on a mission to make fresh stuff that feels nostalgic of the things that I’ve loved in the past.” Summer Hoop says about her introduction into music.

Hoop is a powerhouse artist that takes immense pride in her songwriting, wrapping her art in a layer of protection.“Becoming a solo artist felt like the natural next step, because it gives me the creative control to fully shape my sound and vision while still bringing the energy of a full live band.” Hoop says about flourishing as a solo artist. “I’ve been performing with the same group of musicians for years, so I get that dynamic, collaborative feel on stage, but at the same time I can stay true to my own taste and represent myself exactly how I want to.”

Drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance and PVRIS just to name a few. Hoop uses her songs as a way to express difficult topics. “I’ve never been great at saying the hard things out loud. Whether that’s in friendships, relationships, or even with family.” Hoop continues. “Writing music is the only space where I can be brutally honest without censoring myself. It’s how I process everything I go through, because if I don’t write it down, it just sits in me.”

Now, with the announcement of her upcoming EP, "Self Disrespect", Summer Hoop continues to push deeper into emotionally charged territory. The track explores obsessive devotion, sacrifice, and self-destruction, building on the intensity of her previous releases while marking her debut release via Oxide Music.

Hoop has hit incredible milestones throughout her career, being featured on Bilmuri’s track, “THE VOID APPROACHETH” along with Lost In Separation's "Higher" and sharing the stage with notable acts such as Pierce The Veil, Adam Lambert and Twenty One Pilots. “My songs are like a no-filter version of my thoughts — sometimes dark, lots of times funny, but always real.” Hoop says reflecting on her discography, “Human connection, friendship, and love are painful and confusing a lot of the time, but they’re also the best things we get to experience in this life. My music is about holding both truths at once — the chaos and the beauty.”

GÅTE Announced as Winners of John Lennon Songwriting Competition

Gåte are one of the most accomplished group of artists to come out of Norway. The band have topped the Norwegian charts, won a Norwegian Grammy and represented Norway in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest with their groundbreaking mix of Nordic folk and modern rock. Now, as fans around the world anticipate the upcoming release of their sixth studio album and first for Season of Mist, they are proud to celebrate another career milestone.

Today, Gåte are announcing that their recent single “Sannsiger” has won the grand prize in the World category during Session I of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Released in April 2026 upon signing with Season of Mist, “Sannsiger” sets the stage for the ancient legends and folk narratives that the band explore on Sigil by weaving Hardanger fiddle and nyckeharpa into their contemporary sound. The song features guest vocals from Maria Franz of Season of Mist labelmates Heilung.

“We are deeply honored to be selected as winners of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest”, Gåte says. “This award means a lot to us, especially since ‘Sannsiger’ marks a new direction for our band. The song is driven by the nyceklharpa and a simple guitar loop that our guitarist Magnus Børmark recorded on his phone. From that recording grew a song about the truth-tellers throughout our shared history and how society in every age seems to feel the need to silence them”.

“‘Sannsiger’ hit me from the very first moment that I heard it”, Heilung vocalist Maria Franz said upon the song’s release. “Its raw energy immediately resonated with me. I’ve been a fan of Gåte for many years, so accepting the invitation was a no-brainer. The band were wonderful to work with, and I’m very excited to hear the rest of their upcoming album”.

Winners of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest receive prizes from Taylor Guitars, Genelec and other companies. One 2026 Grand Prize winner will go on to win Song of the Year and $20,000.

Symphonic Black Metal Act VESSELES Present "Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)", Announce Album 'Home (Reclaimed)'

Symphonic black metal project VESSELES has unveiled "Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)." The single released alongside a visualizer lands ahead of the forthcoming full length, Home (Reclaimed), scheduled to arrive on March 26, 2027.

On "Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)," Valira shares:
"The ritual track of the album, this offering delves into the birthing ritual in the Beneath with very grand verses enacting the mantras and a Latin section to truly make this the origin ceremony. With the newly reclaimed version, the verses have become elegantly harmonized, deepening the connection to Home."

VESSELES is an artistic outlet allowing Valira the space to express and explore who they are. Home (Reclaimed) confronts the discomfort and complexity of what 'home' is to someone who is not from this world. Now recorded with their own vocals, Home (Reclaimed) captures fully Valira's origins and purpose. In addition to the vocal performance, the album is filled with piano driven leads, grandiose symphonic compositions, dissonant passages and pained progressions encapsulating their experience.

Home (Reclaimed) was produced, mixed and mastered by Nick Loiacono at Fang Studios, San Mateo, CA. The album performance was by Valira Nyvran (vocals, guitars, composition, orchestrations, lyrics), Ron Graves (bass) and Nikolas Brön (drums). Special guests include Antonio Giardina (session piano) and The Vicken Studios Orchestra (choir chants on “Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)”). Album cover artwork is by Mark Erskine.

About VESSELES:

Founded in 2023, VESSELES is the sonic vessel through which Valira speaks the language of their origins. As composer, orchestrator, and architect, they craft bleak, incantatory soundscapes that fuse serrated guitars with haunted symphonic textures. Their voice, at once seething and spectral, now rises with increasing clarity, layered across both backing and lead roles in studio and on stage. This is not performance. It is possession. Through sound, they cast off the human shell and step fully into their true form: demon, exile, survivor.

VESSELES unveiled the debut EP I Am A Demon in 2024, a liturgy of identity dysphoria, rage, and revelation. The debut full length offering Home emerged from the shadows at the turn of 2026, a devastating and majestic sophomore release that delves deep into identity, belonging, and the mythos of a demon cast into the human world.

Devised as a personal vessel for Valira, a demon entity discovering their truth through music, VESSELES fuses symphonic black metal with cinematic grandeur and emotional weight. This project is not just about sound; it's about survival, transformation, and reclaiming power in a world that was never built for them.

Listen now to the black thrash versions of the tracks “Let’s Get Drugs” and “Mainline" Below.

HELLRIPPER guitarist/vocalist/songwriter James McBain comments, “ZEKE has been a favourite band of mine for many years now, and I sure have gotten a lot of mileage out of that shirt of mine as a lot of people have pointed out! The influence they have had on the sound of Hellripper cannot be overstated - 100mph balls to the wall metalpunk with endless guitar solos? Count me in! These two tracks were released as part of the Decibel Magazine Flexi series earlier this year, and I'm happy to now have them out there for everyone to listen to. ZEKE YOU!”

The extensive U.S. trek will kick off on October 21 in Salt Lake City, UT and will decimate everything in its path until the final stop on November 20 in Denver, CO. The full itinerary can be found below and tickets to all upcoming live performances are available HERE.

HELLRIPPER will be supporting its critically-acclaimed new album, 'Coronach,' which was released worldwide on March 27, 2026 via Century Media Records, making it his debut to the label! 'Coronach' can be streamed, downloaded, or ordered HERE.

The brainchild of guitarist/vocalist/solitary force, James McBain, Hellripper has been running like a denim-vested, backpatch-encrusted William Wallace, bravehearting his way through metal's bloodiest battlefields since first coagulating his personal darkness in 2014. Taking armaments from “Kill 'Em All” era Hetfield and “Welcome to Hell” era Mantas, McBain has immersed his fascination with darkness and speed with Scottish history and come with bloody masterpieces like 2023's “Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags” that Metal Injection stated: "Bursts with growth and a mature exploration of darkness and eeriness while maintaining that original high-octane burning”. McBain is presently sharpening his blades and casting new spells that will transmogrify into Hellripper's Century Media debut “Coronach”.

ABOUT GHØSTKID:
"Retrospectively, it was a very hard time, mentally. But I’m happy to speak openly about it. It was a time with feelings in between completely burning out and 'everything is incredible.'"

Looking back at the last six years, GHØSTKID has faced immense pressure, both personally and professionally. After a liberating start with his self-titled Century Media debut in 2020, there has never been a moment of silence in Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler's mind. The following years took his solo project on tours with Bad Omens, Black Veil Brides, and Blind Channel, headline tours and performances at festivals like Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze, yet his mind kept playing tricks on him. Success came with doubts and pressure fueled by financial struggles, leadership responsibilities, mental health, and deep self-reflections through turbulent years. "I've learned a lot, made just as many mistakes, and truly underestimated what it means to stand on your own feet," says Sushi who reached a turning point in mid-2026.

After parting ways with his bandmates, he found new people to share his vision of a modern mix between metalcore, nu-metal, alternative rock, and now embarks on a new album cycle. Referring to Lewis Carroll's children’s novel Alice in Wonderland and the computer game "American McGee’s Alice", FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT is a journey through Sushi’s mind and offers unfiltered insights into his deepest thoughts and emotions. "Once you're going down the rabbit hole, you'll face many scary, weird, and disturbing things that will make you question your sanity. That's what this album is all about."

Once again produced by long-time-collaborator Sky van Hoff, GHØSTKID's third offering reignites Sushi’s versatile influences and shapes it into a modern sound. FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT is not just another fictional concept album, but a collection of eleven songs rooted in concrete situations of Sushi's life. Through turbulent years of doubt and struggle, GHØSTKID has become a vessel. Not only for Sushi, but for a growing community that finds strength and relief in the honesty of his music.

"Without GHØSTKID, the pressure would have been unbearable."

RAISED ON CANDY shares 'Pickle Eyes', announcing follow-up album to Steve Albini-produced debut

American alt-rock outfit Raised On Candy presents their new single 'Pickle Eyes', a tightly wound blast of melodic tension and explosive guitar-driven release. The first warning shot ahead of their sophomore album 'Play Marbles on the Turnpike', forthcoming via Magic Door Record Label, the track sets the tone for a record that finds the duo expanding their noisy, hook-heavy sound and unruly edge.

A tightly wound blast of melodic tension and explosive guitar-driven release, the track sets the tone for a record that finds the duo expanding their noisy, hook-heavy sound without losing its wonderfully unruly edge. It's the first warning shot from an album built to hit hard, take unexpected turns and linger long after the ride stops.

Equal parts melodic earworm and noisy joyride, the track barrels out of the gate with wiry guitars, explosive rhythms and an unmistakably off-kilter charm. It's a tantalizing glimpse of an album that promises sharp hooks, combustible guitars and plenty of glorious left turns.

Raised On Candy is Joe Penna (vocals, guitars) and Scotty Imp (drums, cymbals). Formed from the ashes of the band Buteo, Raised On Candy is the next step in the evolution of their music, weaving old school indie-rock and post-punk nuggets into tasty sonic delicacies. They've always called Montclair, New Jersey their home base. Scotty lives there and, while Joe lives in Riverside, Connecticut, he was born in Montclair and grew up in the nearby community of Toms River.

Raised On Candy produced this album together with Ray Ketchem (Guided By Voices, Luna, Elk City, Gramercy Arms, The Dambuilders), who also engineered, mixed and mastered it at Magic Door Recording Studio in Montclair from October 2025 to June 2026. With a minimalist interplay of melodic vocals, slow burn builds and massive hooks, their music unites precise rhythms with pyro-friendly guitars, transforming chaos into sharp, noisy rock.

"This song is about the personal enrichment that comes from having the courage to embrace the people and things that appear to be different from you.  Without curiosity, we are choosing  a life unlived, opting instead for intolerance and ignorance.  Buy the ticket, take the ride," says Joe Penna.

"We assembled this one as sort of a short scale boardwalk roller coaster - set the table with anticipation then let it all go with a couple of nice releases.  After that, we give you a little time to catch your breath then bring it all back around one more time for the big finish. Once it stops, push the bar up and go get some zeppoles."

Scotty Imp adds, "I remember 'Pickle Eyes' being written really quickly. I knew exactly what the drums were supposed to do before I could actually play the parts. I kept getting ahead of myself doing those big fills. I was excited that the song needed such expressive & energetic drum parts."

Scotty and Joe met over 20 years ago through a mutual friend, but it wasn't until after the demise of Joe's band Transit Belle around 2005 that they would collaborate. They formed the band Buteo, which eventually parted ways around 2010 after releasing one album and touring. While Joe pretty much stopped playing music, Scotty continued playing drums in Overlake and Stuyvesant, the latter of which he still plays with today. In 2022, Joe returned to songwriting, eventually leading to the birth of Raised On Candy.

Raised On Candy's self-titled debut album was recorded with legendary producer-engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey, Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, The Breeders, Bush, Cheap Trick) at Electrical Audio and mastered by Matthew Barnhart (Superchunk, The New Pornographers, Bob Mould, The Mountain Goats) at Chicago Mastering Service.   This would be one of the last records Steve ever worked on before passing away in May, adding a whole new level of emotion to this album, which would be released in July 2024.

On September 15th, 'Pickle Eyes' will be released across digital platforms, includingSpotifyApple Music and Bandcamp. The 'Play Marbles On The Turnpike' album, which is now available for pre-order, will be released on November 13th.

Kenny's SILVER SANDS MARINA Massive Media Sweep Starts w "TODAY" Concert 9-17

As someone who loves songs, making music and creating a soundtrack for how life is lived by real people, Kenny Chesney has created an indelible body of work. With Silver Sands Marina, his 21st studio album, approaching its Sept. 25th release date, the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar is getting ready to take the music – and stories – to New York for a media gauntlet that gets inside the songs, the process and heart of what became an actual album.

Three years and myriad songs in the making, the man Wall Street Journal crowned “The King of the Road” will kick things off September 17 on the Plaza at Rockefeller Center as part of “TODAY”’s Citi Concert Series.

“When you make a record and you take your time, it takes you places you might not go otherwise,” Chesney says of the album. “We recut ‘Carry On,’ the first single because this version felt like the moment we’re living in. ‘Silver Sands Marina’ and ‘Remember Me That Way’ came in later, and changed the shape of what this album is…

“So, it’s great to be able to play a few of these songs on the plaza, to really give people this music. At home, in the streets, wherever people are, we’re going to be able to share these songs live – and exchange that energy that we all live for.”

From there, he heads downtown to visit “The View.” A favorite of the table, he’s going to talk about where some of the songs came from, some of the guests and where he’s heading in 2027. It will make for lively conversation as there’s plenty to unpack before Silver Sands Marina arrives. Then onto ESPN for several midafternoon shows, as well as taping a special talk with E Street Radio.

“These songs hit on so many levels, it’s great to be able to talk about what we’re doing at all these different shows. I love the women at ‘The View,’ who are smart and fun, who get out there and live, so they come at the music from that place. I was honored to be asked to visit E Street Radio because I respect what Bruce shares with his people, that same passion and embracing life no matter what. Then everyone at ESPN speaks to that place in me that always says, ‘Nothing brings people together like sports and music,’ which is true.”

After the response to his first appearance, Chesney returns to TalkShopLive for a conversation on the 17th. Tune in at 8pm Eastern, he will have a more in-depth conversation, as well as take questions from people watching. Watch the conversation HERE.

Next week, Chesney joins “CBS Mornings” with Gayle King for a meaningful sit-down. He will also appear as part of Tom Llamas’ “Great Americans” series for “NBC Nightly News,” which looks at individuals who’ve bettered their communities and world. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Michael Phelps, retired astronaut Eileen Collins, John Grisham and more have taken part.

The Country Music Hall of Fame member will also be part of Howard Stern’s Howard 100 channel. On Sept. 23, the station will be slicing bits of an extended interview into their programming to celebrate Silver Sands Marina’s release.

“You can have a lot of conversations about the same thing, and they’re often not alike,” Chesney says. “When I looked at the schedule, I thought ‘This is a lot’; but I know when I start doing the actual conversations, I’m always amazed at what I learn about the songs and records, hearing what these people heard and experienced. I also think different people care about different things, so each of these shows lets this music land how it needs to for all the people.”

SLAUGHTERSUN Release Ferocious Cover Of CORONER's "Die By My Hand" With Video

Extreme metal juggernaut SLAUGHTERSUN present a tribute to CORONER with a cover of "Die By My Hand." While striving to honor the sonic appeal of the original recording, SLAUGHTERSUN have injected elements of their own distinctive character into their interpretation.

"The original recording of Coroner’s 'Die By My Hand' is a relic of it’s time and a prime example of the legendary fidelity produced by Scott Burns at Morrisound in Tampa FL back in the 80’s and 90’s", shares band leader Ben Karas. "In a time before drums were routinely gridded and productions were overly polished, the power trio Coroner proved that metal could be as groovy as it is dark and brutal. Moving the boundaries of recorded music, their virtuosic musicianship and infectious musical pocket solidified their place as an influence to Slaughtersun’s sound.

The technical side of the recording is also of interest as it is part of the roster of bands with Scott Burns’ unique production style. Burns’ goal was to preserve the primal energy of the music but present it in a way where all of the details could be heard. As all of Slaughtersun’s music is self produced and contains unconventional instruments, a similar attempt at innovation is present."

Originally written and performed by CORONER, SLAUGHTERSUN's interpretation of "Die By My Hand" was recorded by sound engineers Ben Karas and Chris Alfano. The track was produced, mixed and mastered by Ben Karas at Frost Gauntlet Recording, Lyndhurst, NJ. Cover artwork for the single is by Slam Slabs.

About SLAUGHTERSUN:

Since 2023, SLAUGHTERSUN has been on a rampage to brand their trademark style in the realm of metal. Rooted in the sonic domain of death metal but traversing outward, band leader Ben Karas (WINDFAERER, THANK YOU SCIENTIST) is uncompromising in producing demented music unlike anything that exists by means of unorthodox instrumentation and infectious compositions. Their critically acclaimed Black Marrow EP is proof that SLAUGHTERSUN is something unique, making album of the year lists in 2025 and leaving listeners bloodthirsty to hear the forthcoming debut full length album.

'00s Faves Dry Kill Logic Celebrate 20 Years "Of Vengeance & Violence" With Vinyl Release + Louder Than Life Performance

Twenty years after the release of their landmark album Of Vengeance & ViolenceDry Kill Logic are celebrating the anniversary with a special return to the stage, the album's first-ever vinyl pressing, and the beginning of a new chapter for the band.

The group will mark the anniversary with a special performance at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, September 18. The performance will serve as Dry Kill Logic’s final show of 2026 before the band heads into the studio to begin recording their new full-length album — Your Sins Will Find You.

20 YEARS OF VENGEANCE & VIOLENCE:
Originally released in September 2006, Of Vengeance & Violence stands as one of the defining releases in Dry Kill Logic's catalog. Twenty years later, the album continues to represent a pivotal moment in the band's evolution, combining their trademark aggression with a broader and more dynamic approach to songwriting.

To commemorate the anniversary, Dry Kill Logic will release the first-ever vinyl pressing of Of Vengeance & Violence.

The limited-edition release will feature two exclusive variants:
Yellow & Black Galaxy (125 copies)
Purple Smoke (125 copies)

The anniversary vinyl, along with exclusive commemorative merchandise, are available for pre-order on the band's official store at this location.

The celebration hits the stage at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, September 18 and marks the group's final show of 2026.

"This record has meant so much, both to us and to the people who have carried it with them for the last 20 years," says vocalist Cliff Rigano. "Being able to celebrate it by finally releasing it on vinyl and playing Louder than Life is surreal."

THE NEXT CHAPTER: YOUR SINS WILL FIND YOU:
Following their performance at Louder than Life, Dry Kill Logic will return to Silver Bullet Studios to continue recording their fourth full-length album, Your Sins Will Find You. Working with producer Greg Thomas (End, 100 Demons, Blood for Blood), the album promises to honor the band's roots while pushing their sound into new territory. Fans can expect a dynamic blend of ferocity and melody, building on tracks such as "Vices," "Don't See Ghosts," and "Now You Belong With the Dead," while retaining the raw aggression that has defined Dry Kill Logic from the beginning.

After decades away, the band is not looking backward.

Your Sins Will Find You represents what comes next.

BraveWords Records Announces the Digital Release on Bandcamp of Power Metallers ILIUM “Scythe Ballet”

BraveWords Records has announced the Bandcamp digital release of Australian (Newcastle, New South Wales) fantasy power metallers ILIUM's 2026 album, Scythe Ballet.

The band states: “The response to the physical release has been fantastic, and so we are happy to announce that from today, the album is available digitally via Bandcamp through BraveWords Records. Other digital services will be announced later this year, however Bandcamp is the most direct and immediate way to support the band.”

Ilium need no special introduction, as the adventurous and progressively developed power metal they have been delivering has become their very own sonic trademark through the years. However, with their new album, they have managed to take their music to a whole new level. Adam Smith on guitar, bass and keyboards, Jason Hodges on guitar, and Tim Yatras on drums join forces with vocalist Giles Lavery (Warlord, Alcatrazz, Jack Starr, Dragonsclaw), and the result is an amazing full-length that perfectly captures the definitive Ilium sound.

Is this the “thinking man’s power metal”? Yes, it is. Not only because of the song structures, which explore new progressive dimensions, and not only because of Lavery’s vocals, which bring a fresh wave of inspiration to the entire album, but mainly because of the overall songwriting, which ultimately becomes the album’s greatest feature. And that practically means that Scythe Ballet is an album you simply won’t be able to stop listening to.

Complex, exotically melodic and still so damned catchy, Scythe Ballet marks the return of a band with a truly special musical character and is an album that should not be missed, especially by those who are searching for something more in their daily metal listening.

Mixed and mastered by Thomas Mergler

Giles Lavery - vocals
Jason Hodges - guitars
Adam Smith - guitar, bass, keyboards
Tim Yatras - drums

Ecce Shnak explore contradiction, captivity & resistance on new single ‘Anna O’

NYC art-rockers Ecce Shnak have released 'Anna O', the third single from their forthcoming full-length, 'Dandy Variances', which is now slated for release in early 2027 via Records, Man Records. The track arrives as a particularly unruly preview of the album, combining the band's art-rock swagger with grunge muscle and a distinctly theatrical sense of scale.

The story of 'Anna O' though, begins well before it became a song. Its lyrics originated as a poem by Robin Kneubuhl, mother of Ecce Shnak composer, bassist, and baritone vocalist David Roush. For the first time, Roush -- who has traditionally written the band's lyrics -- stepped aside and allowed someone else to write the words.

Kneubuhl wrote the poem months before Roush and producer Jeff Lucci began developing what would become 'Anna O'. In March 2019, the two were working on a noisy instrumental when they decided to try Kneubuhl's poem against the music. The combination proved unexpectedly natural, and the poem became the song's lyric.

The result is a captivating anthem with serious grunge energy. 'Anna O' takes the tension and ideas of Kneubuhl's writing and throws them into an explosive musical setting, with the song's art-rock ambition and theatricality pushing against its rawer, heavier instincts.

Kneubuhl has characterized the poem as “a lament about tragic contradictions in contemporary feminist thought and practice.” She wholeheartedly believes in the ideals of feminism, while also expressing concern that those ideals can be misused toward nefarious ends, with consequences for women and others alike. Those contradictions form the conceptual foundation of 'Anna O', giving the song a lyrical tension that sits beneath its deliberately unruly surface.

Frontman David Roush explains, "The song's tragic hero embodies both a noteworthy psychoanalytic patient of Freud’s protégé Josef Breuer and the real-life gun-slinging heroine Annie Oakley. Though Anna is beleaguered by the contradictions Kneubuhl observes in the poem's story, she ultimately emerges triumphant in the fight against patriarchy by the song’s end," explains

Ecce Shnak's own history is rooted in New York City's experimental music community. Formed in 2011, the band -- pronounced “Eh-kay sh-knock" -- is made up of David Roush (composer, bassist and baritone vocalist), Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums).

While 'Anna O' marks a new chapter in the band's approach to songwriting, its production involves a number of accomplished studio figures. New Deathcore EP Strix & Live Session video out now by DROWN IN SULPHUR!

Drown In Sulphur took the metal world by storm with new line-up and two massive advance video singles this summer. Now the time has come to unleash their latest effort, digital EP Strix, to the world via Noble Demon. To make the day even better for their fans, we simultaneously launched a full live session video with the band playing all 5 songs of the EP.

Enjoy here: https://music.nobledemon.com/strix

Watch the live session EP play through video below:

Strix is blending the nostalgic fury of MySpace-era deathcore with grim black metal influences, marking a deliberate shift toward a less symphonic, more hardcore sound.

After the release of “New Moon Rising On Florence” in June and “Groan From The IXth Circle” at the end of July, both accompanied by vibrant and fast cut performance videos, for the EP release the artist is focusing on the last track on the EP, called “The Heptad Omen” and comments:

“Serving as the epic closing chapter of Strix, 'The Heptad Omen' is a dark, apocalyptic anthem that channels raw black metal riffage over a massive deathcore foundation. The track explores the ultimate decay of divine rule, depicting the fall of the Christian age and the birth of individual liberty. From its ominous marine imagery to its devastating breakdown sections, Drown In Sulphur delivers a menacing, highly cinematic finish that ties together the EP’s overarching narrative of rebellion and liberation.”

With Strix, Drown In Sulphur delivers a desperate and focused body of work born out of a renewed hunger for reinvention. The upcoming EP leaves behind traditional symphonic tropes to deliver a sound driven by raw energy and complex, occult storytelling—blurring the lines between theological dread and sonic violence.

Formed in Milan, Italy in 2014, Drown In Sulphur quickly shook the underground metal scene, securing millions of streams and views with their explosive early singles "An Epilogue to the Arrogant" and "Blackwind." Through a relentless creative fire and an evolving lineup, the project dropped a string of powerful full-lengths, including Sulphur Cvlt (2021), Dark Secrets Of The Soul (2024), and the rebellious Vengeance (2025).

Now, reinforced by their current definitive lineup, the band enters their most authentic era yet.

Drown In Sulphur is:

Manuel Riboldi – Vocals

Erik Bellan – Rhythm Guitar

Ciprian Grigore – Lead & Rhythm Guitar

Domenico Francesco Tamilia – Drums & Backing Vocals

Anciients Release Re-Recording of “Humanist”

Fresh off crushing the stage in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their first JUNO Award winning album, Voice of the Void, the Canadian progressive metal band Anciients are polishing off one of their heaviest songs ahead of their first tour of Europe and the United Kingdom in more than a decade.

Today, Anciients are releasing a re-recorded version of “Humanist”. Originally recorded for the band’s debut EP, Snakebeard, in 2011, “Humanist” was later included as a bonus track on their beloved first full-length, 2013’s Heart of Oak. The 2026 re-recording features their current lineup, who won a JUNO Award in 2025 for their latest album, Beyond the Reach of the Sun, as well as backing vocals from former member Chris Dyck, who appeared on the original recording. More than a decade later, the song’s heavy, heady and heartfelt performance proves once more why Anciients are one of progressive metal’s must-watch bands.

Humanist’ was the first song we recorded as a band”, recalls Anciients’ vocalist and guitarist Kenny Cook. “After hearing the sonic improvements that came with re-recording ‘Built to Die’ last year, we wanted to give ‘Humanist’ the same treatment”.

“The song represents a wild dream”, Cook continues. “Musically, ‘Humanist’ is one of our heaviest, though we chuck a little bit of everything into the composition”.

Listen to the re-recorded version of “Humanist” below:

With all being said and done, Anciients have returned! They stand ready to ascend the prog metal ladder and get back to doing what they do best with a weighty and dense, but wholly accessible, album. It’s a collection of ten songs that possesses the ability to have those furiously banging heads also tapping into their power of self-reflection and contemplation to ponder the finality of existence, the value of life and their place in the universe.

“Totally! We’re going to take as many of the opportunities that come to us. The hiatus is over and I think with the new members and everyone being on the same page we’re ready to get out there as soon as possible. We missed out on a huge block after the last record, so we’ve got to make up for lost time. Now that everyone is happy and healthy, we plan to hit it hard.”

KALAMITY KILLS Release New Single "I Still Believe" Alongside An Intimate Studio Video

KALAMITY KILLS returns with a brand new singer, a brand new energy and a brand new version of their 2023 release of "I Still Believe," a rock-n-roll classic best known from the 1987 The Lost Boys movie.

On the new chapter, guitarist, producer and co-founder Jamey Perrenot shares, “Vincent brings a brand new energy to this band and gives us an undeniable, distinctive sound that we want the world to hear!"

Perrenot explains the decision to revisit "I Still Believe", "Rowe and I both shared the mentality that a well placed, well proven cover can be money in the bank. We had some pretty decent radio success with the song right off the bat, almost unintentionally. We really didn’t know what to do with that success and never felt like the song got its best shot at radio because we didn’t have the resources or 'know how' to capitalize. The two of us always agreed that that song needed another chance so, by sheer coincidence, we had started the process of the remix right before Rowe quit.

I was mid stride with the production and intended to release the remix with Jamie’s vocal, even though he had already left. It was just sheer luck or the grace of God that Vincent Langdon came along when he did; just in time to get him on the track before the release date!"

Alongside the track, KALAMITY KILLS present a music video showcasing the recording process. This intimate look behind-the-scenes reveals a key part of the creative process while introducing their new vocalist, Vincent Langdon.

About KALAMITY KILLS:

KALAMITY KILLS is a hard rock band forged in the heart of East Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2022 by vocalist Jamie Rowe and guitarist/producer Jamey Perrenot, the band quickly transformed from a solo project into a fully realized sonic assault—fueled by raw emotion, modern aggression, and a deep respect for rock’s roots. With a sound that fuses the swagger of classic hard rock with the intensity and polish of modern metal, KALAMITY KILLS strikes a rare balance between power and vulnerability.

Best known for their debut self-titled album Kalamity Kills, the band quickly turned heads thanks, in part, to high-profile collaborations with members of KORN, 3 DOORS DOWN, LA GUNS, CONQUER DIVIDE, and UNDEROATH. Their music has earned national airplay on SIRIUSXM’s Octane, landed on the Billboard Active Rock top 40 chart multiple times, and crossed over into viral success without ever chasing trends.

More than just a studio project, KALAMITY KILLS is a growing force with a full live lineup, including bassist/vocalist Julia Lauren Bullock and drummer Rob Bodley. In 2026, Jamie Rowe departed the band and KALAMITY KILLS welcomed Vincent Langdon as their exciting new vocalist, introducing a new sound and a new era.

Their songs—ranging from explosive anthems to brutally honest ballads—tackle themes of faith, failure, hypocrisy, redemption, and the messy beauty of being human. KALAMITY KILLS is for the outsiders, the misfits, the ones who’ve been through the fire and have emerged stronger, tougher and meaner for it. Loud. Unapologetic. Unforgettable; KALAMITY KILLS.

KALAMITY KILLS is:

  • Vincent Langdon – Lead Vocals

  • Jamey Perrenot – Guitar / Producer

  • Julia Lauren Bullock – Bass / Vocals (Live)

  • Rob Bodley – Drums (Live)

Myrath Share Cover of Sting's "Shape of My Heart"

Following the international success of their critically acclaimed album Wilderness Of Mirrors and a triumphant first leg of their European tour featuring numerous sold-out shows, Tunisian-French progressive metal visionaries Myrath unveil their bold new interpretation of Sting's timeless classic "Shape Of My Heart."

Few songs possess the universal appeal and enduring legacy of "Shape Of My Heart." Rather than simply covering a classic, Myrath have reimagined it through their unique artistic lens. The result is a dramatic and cinematic journey that bridges cultures, genres, and generations.

At the heart of Myrath's interpretation lies the same mystery, longing, and search for meaning that made Sting's original such an enduring masterpiece. Yet the band's unmistakable blend of Eastern melodies, progressive metal sophistication, and larger-than-life arrangements opens a new dimension within the song, turning it into a powerful anthem fit for arenas and festival stages alike.

Following the widespread acclaim of Wilderness Of Mirrors, which was hailed by critics as one of the strongest progressive metal releases of the year, "Shape Of My Heart" once again demonstrates why Myrath continue to stand apart from their peers.
