Scottish metal heavyweights, BLEED FROM WITHIN, are preparing to take their adrenaline-charged live show further across the Northern Hemisphere.

Later this week, they'll be hitting the UK and Ireland for an extensive 11-show run, followed by a colossal month-long trek across North America.

To set the tone, BLEED FROM WITHIN have released a blistering live video for their track 'Zenith', the title track from their highly-acclaimed, latest studio record. The video was filmed during the Zenith UK/EU Headline Tour across September and October 2025, the band's biggest headline tour to-date. The video captures their high intensity live performances at numerous sold-out shows across the continent.

After 20 years, Bleed from Within have reached their Zenith. The Glasgow firebrands are one of the hardest working acts in metal: playing shows globally with everyone from Megadeth to Slipknot, all while writing and regularly releasing monstrous, exhilarating songs. ØVI unveil “Absolve,” the closing track from their new EP Hedera Helix, available today on all streaming platforms. Serving as the final statement of the four-track release, “Absolve” channels confrontation into clarity, presenting metal as a force of transformation rather than collapse.

Named after the ivy plant Hedera helix, a species known for relentless expansion and endurance, the EP reflects themes of growth through pressure and renewal through destruction. Across the record, ØVI examine toxic relationships, parasitic dynamics, and the reclamation of personal will. The music moves with intention, tracing the moment when survival becomes self-definition.

“Absolve” stands as the EP’s culmination. Anger becomes a refining element, burning away stagnation and sharpening purpose. The track mirrors ivy’s persistence. Structures that no longer sustain life are dismantled so growth can take hold. SUNSWARM Announce Crushing New Single "Erasure" Ahead of Forthcoming Album

Southampton, UK industrial post-metal act SUNSWARM announce the release of their new single "Erasure."

"Erasure" is not structured as a traditional single. Across eight minutes, the track unfolds as a bleak and overwhelming piece of industrial post-metal, built from early 90s industrial sampling techniques, scorched guitar textures, and vocals shaped by black-metal intensity. Rhythms move like shifts in pressure rather than conventional song structures, creating an atmosphere of suffocation and psychological weight.

Emerging from UK South Coast underground scene, SUNSWARM draw influence from the brutal desolation of GODFLESH, the spiritual intensity of AMENRA, the sonic extremity of THE BODY, and the cosmic dread of ORANSSI PAZUZU. Their sound merges industrial noise, post-metal density, and extreme vocal expression into something immersive and deeply physical.

The band describe the track as the emotional entry point into the record: "This is the opening track from our forthcoming album. It’s not a song. It’s 8 minutes of bleak, overwhelming Industrial Post-Metal. No Light. This nihilism is not a political or philosophical position. It is waking in the middle of the night and feeling a void. The growing feeling of strangulation in this creeping dystopia that the power structures and their tech is dragging us and our children into.

MIRANDA LAMBERT’S MUTTNATION FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES THREE-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH DORIS DAY ANIMAL FOUNDATION FOR SPAY & NEUTER

In celebration of World Spay Day today, Feb. 24, country music icon Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation has announced a three-year partnership for its spay & neuter program, “It Takes Balls,” with the Doris Day Animal Foundation. The 2026 “It Takes Balls” campaign will focus specifically on Southern California. The initiative, which kicked off in 2023, raises awareness for the importance of spay & neuter and has provided over 125 grants thus far to qualifying low-cost programs throughout Tennessee and Texas.

“We’re so excited and honored to be partnering with the Doris Day Animal Foundation and are grateful for their amazing commitment to spay & neuter,” said Lambert. “Everyone knows that Doris Day holds an unparalleled place in film and music – but do they also know she started Spay Day USA in 1995 (now World Spay Day)? Despite the great work being done by most animal shelters, they are not equipped to handle the annual number of incoming animals. In 2025, 5.8 million animals entered shelters and 597,000 were euthanized, often due to lack of space. One of the most impactful ways to reduce those numbers is through spay & neuter.

DARIUS RUCKER ANNOUNCES 20-CITY SONGS OF SUMMER TOUR

CONJURER have evolved radically since the release of their debut album (Mire, 2018), and their second release (Páthos, 2022) saw them lauded among the most exciting British metal bands. Whilst award nominations and accolades accumulated, the four-piece band retained their very simple mission: to make heavy music and have fun whilst doing so. Preferring to use their spotlight to showcase technicality and musicality rather than centring politics or opinions, CONJURER lived in the moment and embraced everything that came their way.

Within the tumult of forging a renewed identity as a band, on Unself there is a more intense, more personal voyage of discovery unfurling for vocalist/guitarist Dani Nightingale. Diagnosed with autism at age 31, their long-held view of self, and perception of their place in the world began to unravel. Unself documents much of the piecing back together around the diagnosis, alongside the realisation they were non-binary.

These vignettes of processing and self-actualisation take place against the backdrop of a society careening towards glassy-eyed capitalist dystopia; finding firm footing eludes many of us - and CONJURER delve headfirst into exploring these suffocating new societal parameters.

Within Unself's nine tracks, CONJURER deliver the writhing post-metal sound they’ve become known for, but have loosened their grip on the desire to fill every moment with sonic obliteration. Instead, they have leaned into utilising space, gifting listeners a little breathing room which serves to make the heavy elements feel all the more intense.

A more direct, organic approach to songwriting was facilitated by the ever-strengthening bonds within the band, and the supportive environment created by producer Joe Clayton. Allowing themselves more time than with any previous recording experience, they committed to preproduction sessions, followed by an elongated recording period in order to do justice to the material they had crafted. Stripping back the excesses of previous outings to reveal their solid songwriting chops allowed for more clarity and more dynamics to shine through. To their ears, the mood, the core of the lyrical content and the music are more aligned than ever before.

This record is the sound of four individuals living with more purpose and as a consequence creating with more purpose. Unself sees them reaching out to offer community, catharsis and connection. CONJURER remain true to their original mission - they’re still having fun, playing interesting heavy music - but now that music is imbued with the power that comes from opening themselves up to others, at first within the band, and now beyond.

Renowned NYC artist Joan As Police Woman presents a live performance video for her now-classic track “Anyone”, following another recently-shared video, "The Ride". Both of these personal and up-close offerings preview "The Real Life Anniversary Sessions", a string of videos commemorating the 20th anniversary of her much-loved debut album "Real Life", released via UK independent Reveal Records.

Joan Wasser, known professionally as Joan As Police Woman since 2004, is a critically acclaimed musician and producer. As a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, she defies easy categorization, crafting her own sound that blends various genres. The title comes from the Sylvia Plath poem, and like her, I'm pulling something powerful out of something painful. Lines like 'Tender when I wanna be / Callous when I have to be' came from recognizing how women are expected to bend, soften, or apologize just to exist - but also how we learn to harden ourselves for survival.

"When I sing 'Give me your dead stare, I eat men like air,' it's not about hating men - it's about reclaiming the space that was denied to me, the anger I was taught to bury, and the fear I was meant to carry. This song is the sound of unlearning all of that. It's rage, it's release, and it's me deciding I'm no longer shrinking out of anyone's comfort."

"Lady Lazarus" marks the sixth single since Roman Candle signed to Sumerian Records last year, continuing a run that has seen the Las Vegas quartet sharpen their voice with each release. "Fire In The Night Sky Forever.", "This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn't Go With A Gun," "Nothing Is Original" and most recently, last week's "Bite Harder Than You Bleed". TYLER BOOTH IS JOINED BY JAMEY JOHNSON ON NEW SONG “CLEAN DIRT” OUT FEB. 27

Kentucky singer-songwriter Tyler Booth unveils “Clean Dirt,” his new song featuring Jamey Johnson, on Friday, February 27, marking Booth’s debut song with his joint venture with Average Joes Entertainment and Johnson’s Big Gassed Records. Pre-save/pre-add Booth and Johnson’s “Clean Dirt” here.

Booth wrote “Clean Dirt” with Phil O’Donnell – whose songs have been recorded by artists including George Strait, Blake Shelton and Montgomery Gentry – and Brian Davis whose songs have been cut by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Jason Aldean. O’Donnell also produced the track.

“Phil and Brian had that title forever and had started writing it,” Booth says. “They had the hook: ‘three boards, two nails and one man to clean dirt.’ We wrote it that day.”

“Clean Dirt” is about the unwavering strength of God’s love and forgiveness, no matter how many times we lose our way and find ourselves at a crossroads feeling unworthy of love. Just one of several deeply visceral and spiritual songs he has recently recorded for his upcoming full-length project.

“Everybody has their trials and tribulations and has to go through life dealing with struggles,” Booth comments. “Everybody has it. It doesn’t matter how much or little money you have. There is always room for redemption.”

The Erv Woolsey Co.’s Allen Mitchell, Booth’s manager, played the song for Johnson, who loved it and offered to join Booth on the song.

“We live in a day and age where people are starting to be a little more vocal about their religious views, so I like the way he’s unashamed, and in fact, it might be unapologetic,” Johnson says. “He is just putting it out there: this is who I am. It’s also a part of his story and my story. I wish I had written the song with him.

“It’s about redemption and God’s grace,” Johnson says. “It points out that it isn’t what we do – you can’t be good enough. Romans tells us we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, so it’s not something we do to earn salvation. It’s something Jesus Christ has already done and all we have to do is accept it. It’s a wonderful message that Tyler has woven into this song.”

“Clean Dirt” is the first release on Booth’s joint venture with Average Joes Entertainment and Johnson’s Big Gassed Records, with more music to come.
