Unverkalt Sign with Season of Mist

Season of Mist is pleased to welcome Unverkalt.

Formed in 2017, Unverkalt emerged from a desire to give voice to grief, memory and the visceral undercurrents of the human condition. While originally founded in Athens, the band are now based in Berlin, where they forge avant-garde post-metal from emotionally immersive compositions, cinematic textures and a fearless commitment to sonic experimentation.

The band’s debut album, L’Origine du Monde, emerged rooted in emotional unrest and tense atmospherics while delving deep into loss and catharsis beneath shades of post-metal and slow-burning doom. Their follow-up, A Lump of Death: A Chaos of Dead Lovers, pushed deeper into obsession and decay, blending gothic unease with cinematic grandeur and raw urgency. Together, the band’s first two albums trace their evolution from mournful elegance to something more immediate and consuming. It’s a path worth retracing before the next part of their journey unfolds, giving rise to the most visceral and unrelenting sound Unverkalt have ever conjured.

“Big News, Big Moves!” says Unverkalt. “We are excited to announce that Unverkalt have officially joined the Season of Mist family.

“We’ve found a home with a label that doesn’t just handle the heavy, the weird and the loud - it amplifies it. We're very stoked about working with a team that gets what we’re about and isn’t afraid of a little sonic destruction.

”Unverkalt always stood for real, raw, untamed art and never gave a damn about fitting into scenes or trends. We just wanted to create something honest - loud, heavy, broken and alive. And now we’ve found a place that welcomes that chaos with open arms.

”The next chapter of Unverkalt starts here. Expect more music, more shows and more beautifully controlled chaos. Stay tuned and brace yourselves - this ride's only getting louder.”

Lineup:

Dimitra Kalavrezou - Vocals

Themis Ioannou - Guitars, Keys

Eli Mavrychev - Guitars, Vocals

Joscha Hoyer - Bass

Christian Eggers - Drums

Emerging from Athens in 2017, UNVERKALT was born out of an instinctive urge to give form to grief, memory and emotional unrest.

Guitarist and composer Themis, along with vocalist Dimitra, set out to create something unfiltered, heavy, and honest — an intention that would later crystallize in their 2020 debut album L’Origine du Monde. With this release, Unverkalt established a presence within the European post-metal underground.

With raw, multifaceted vocals woven into post-metal and avant-garde textures, Unverkalt began to shape a sound that is slow-burning and emotionally charged. Influenced by European cinema, visual arts and the complexity of human experience, their music unfolds as an immersive narrative, balancing heaviness and delicacy, dissonance and beauty.

Their 2023 follow-up, A Lump of Death: A Chaos of Dead Lovers, garnered widespread critical acclaim, including a 9/10 review from Metal Hammer Greece, and marked a clear turning point in both tone and direction. Inspired by the cult atmosphere and violent crimes of the 1970s, the album explored the space between obsession and romantic decay. The sound became heavier, more immediate, with the band’s alternative influences now pushed to the surface with greater clarity and force.

Now rooted in Berlin, the current incarnation of Unverkalt -  Dimitra (vocals), Themis (guitars), Christian (drums), Eli (vocals/guitars), and Joscha (bass) converge to produce their most primal and emotionally charged creation to date.

What comes next is not a continuation, but a descent. Unverkalt’s cinematic and avant-garde impulses are now laced with shadowed intensity. Blackened textures swirl beneath the surface, rupturing into moments of raw force. Their sound is evolving into something darker, more primal, and wholly untethered — an experience that promises to be their most visceral and immersive yet.

Out Friday from ONSLAUGHT!

There is no doubt that ONSLAUGHT are the undisputed kings of UK Thrash and one of the original pioneers of the Thrash Metal genre in general. Having issued seven studio albums and two live albums to date, ONSLAUGHT were originally formed in 1982 by songwriter/guitarist Nige Rockett and Paul Hill.

The band rapidly established themselves globally with a series of classic album releases in the 1980s: Power From Hell (1985), The Force (1986), and In Search of Sanity(1989).

Renowned for writing neck-breaking metal anthems such as “Power From Hell,” “Metal Forces,” “Killing Peace,” “66’Fucking’6,” and “Bow Down to the Clowns,” ONSLAUGHT’s songs still stand as ferocious, mosh-pit-inducing favourites across generations of dedicated metalheads—a true testament to the quality of music that ONSLAUGHT has consistently created throughout their long and illustrious career.

As an internationally recognized heavy metal powerhouse, ONSLAUGHT have played in over 70 countries across the globe—from Lebanon to Latvia, Argentina to China—appearing at the most prestigious festivals on the planet and headlining countless tours and shows worldwide.

Building a truly dedicated and loyal following since the band’s inception, fans were rewarded by seeing ONSLAUGHT inducted into the prestigious Metal Hall of Fame during their performance at the Maryland Death Fest in 2022—a fitting accolade for delivering over four decades of fury and aggression.

ONSLAUGHT have been honored to feature three world-class vocalists over the years, each playing their part in taking the band to new levels of popularity. There was, of course, Sy Keeler, featured on The Force (1986), Killing Peace (2007), Sounds of Violence (2011), and VI (2013), and the legendary Steve Grimmett, whose iconic vocals graced the 1989 release In Search of Sanity. Currently, Dave Garnett brings a whole new level of energy and brutality to the band's sound, receiving huge plaudits for his performance on the critically acclaimed 2020 album, Generation Antichrist.

As the band's ubiquitous guitarist and founding member, Nige Rockett serves as the undeniably brutal riffing machine—vowing to make each new ONSLAUGHT record sound more violent and relentless than the last. The band's longstanding bastion of bass, Jeff Williams, with his distinctive, thunderous low-end, pulls the entire wall of sound together, laying down a solid foundation alongside the dynamic and incendiary drumming of James Perry. James joined ONSLAUGHT in 2018, the same year that lead guitarist Wayne Dorman came on board. Their addition brought a wave of new energy and intensity to the band, giving ONSLAUGHT complete freedom to create extreme music like never before. This was evident on the band's 2020 release, Generation Antichrist, arguably ONSLAUGHT's most successful album to date—charting high in all major territories and reaching #1 on the US Indie/College charts.

In 2024, ONSLAUGHT signed a new long-term recording contract with metal giants Reigning Phoenix Music, seeking a fresh challenge with a partner that shares the same drive and ambition as the band.

The first release under RPM will be a very special double album to celebrate the inception of the band and the 40th anniversary of ONSLAUGHT's debut album, Power From Hell.

Titled Origins of Aggression, the release will contain 22 tracks in total across a double album format. Disc 1 features re-recordings of the most important ONSLAUGHT tracks from the early years, while Disc 2 consists of punk and metal cover versions that shaped ONSLAUGHT into the band they are today—songs that were jammed at rehearsals and tracks that inspired the band to pick up an instrument and play. It’s a fascinating sonic journey that tells the story of how the band came into existence.

As ONSLAUGHT approach yet another year of thrash metal history-making, the band is gearing up for the 2025 World Tour to promote Origins of Aggression and celebrate this landmark anniversary.

This is a very exciting new chapter for everyone in the ONSLAUGHT camp—with more news, more releases, more tours, and more important shows to come.

See you in the pit!

Bryce Leatherwood's Self-Titled, Debut Album Out Now

For Mercury Nashville singer/songwriter Bryce Leatherwood, his love of country music began with listening to the likes of George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty in his grandfather’s truck. That love and a passion for performing took him from local stages playing for beer in college to being crowned season 22 champion of “The Voice” just over two years ago. But in many ways that crown was just the beginning of his journey. What followed has been years of firsts. His first time in a writers room, first time on the Grand Ole Opry stage, his first headlining tour and now another first…the release of his self-titled, debut album available now with Saving Country Music observing “his voice is definitely a stellar vehicle for delivering country music.”

Named a “Best Album Pick” by NPR’s “All Songs Considered,” listen to Bryce Leatherwood HERE.

“I’ve been chasing this dream ever since the eighth grade when my daddy handed over his much loved Conway Twitty Greatest Hits CD,” shared Leatherwood. “To finally have my very own album out in the world, I am just over the moon and so excited for fans to hear it. I hope people listen to it and walk away feeling like country music is alive and well!”

The Woodstock, Georgia native is carrying the influences and country-music foundations built while bumping along in that old pickup on his granddad’s farm with him for the debut LP American Songwriter praises as, “a true 21st-century country music album with flares that pay homage to the past.” A mix of originals and expertly crafted outside cuts, Leatherwood lets his resonate vocal loose over 12 diverse tunes – centered on his rock solid country roots, but ranging from the pure-emotion of classic balladry to an expanding genre’s bleeding edge. Taking a hands-on approach with producer Will Bundy (Riley Green, Ella Langley), Leatherwood threads the needle between the timeless and trendy with surefooted ease.

The album, which Country Now notes “introduces Leatherwood in his most authentic form,” features previously released tracks like the rollicking sweep-you-off-your-feet Saturday-night anthem “Neon Does,” “The One My Daddy Found” inspired by the decades-long love shared by his parents, “Where the Bar Is” which pops a country-rock top on a quick-hitting tale of late nights and open tabs, “The Finger” a tongue-in-cheek fan favorite sing-along to getting shafted by love and “Shenandoah" penned by Leatherwood with Jeffrey East and Josh Kelley about love and total romantic devotion.

Unreleased tracks on the debut LP include “In Lieu of Flowers” proclaiming his eternal honky tonk allegiance – requesting Joe Diffie and a longneck toast when his time finally comes, the transformative jam “Something Bout A Girl” tracks the making of a man – with the help of a woman’s touch, while the feel-good “God Made” mixes twangy Telecaster with tasteful beats for a tale of physical perfection, the bluesy vocal stunner “What If She Does” imagines losing it all and “Cheap Cologne” traces the other side of the story – an aching done-me-wrong anthem nodding to Leatherwood’s classic favorites.

Leatherwood  has marked release week with a flurry of activity including a stop at NBC’s “Today with Jenna & Friends” on Wednesday, May 14, to give fans a preview of the album with a performance of “In Lieu of Flowers.” He also received a surprise message on the show from Blake Shelton with his former Voice Coach sharing, “Man, it still seems like literally yesterday that I watched you win ‘The Voice,’ and I’m still just as proud of you today,” Shelton said. “Go get em’ brother.” Watch the performance HERE.

Leatherwood will  return to "The Voice" stage for the NBC hit's finale on May 20,  joining a star-studded line-up that will include performances from Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper, Sheryl Crow, Joe Jonas, Kelly Clarkson and more.

And the country crooner is showing no signs of slowing down. Leatherwood will celebrate the new album with a return to the Grand Ole Opry on May 24 and the Good Molecules Reverb Stage at CMA Fest next month. Fans can also find him at festivals across the US this summer with more touring news to be announced soon.

About Bryce Leatherwood:
Singer/songwriter Bryce Leatherwood aims to carry the torch of country music and continue the legacy of legends prior. Born and raised in Woodstock, GA, his passion for music began at an early age. Working on his grandfather’s farm every summer, Leatherwood was exposed to the classic country hits of George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Soon thereafter he began picking up guitars and playing the traditional country music that inspires him today. Leatherwood’s music career began to blossom in Statesboro, GA, where he attended Georgia Southern University. During his time in Statesboro, Leatherwood played college venues and continued to grow his stage presence and his country music repertoire. While in college, Leatherwood formed his band and began playing all around the Southeast. Just weeks after graduating college, Bryce set his mind on a new task. Annie Bosko’s Moving “God Winks

Rising singer/songwriter Annie Bosko releases a poignant and powerful new song with “God Winks,” via Stone Country Records. Inspired by real-life moments of serendipity, “God Winks” is a tribute to faith and divine timing during moments of uncertainty. Listen to “God Winks” below.

“‘God Winks’ is the song I’m most proud to have written,” shares Bosko. “I was raised in a home where faith was our foundation, and my mom always used the term ‘God winks’ to describe those quiet signs from above that remind us we’re on the right path. For her, it was hummingbirds – a symbol of her grandmother. This song is about those moments when you feel like giving up, and God says, ‘Not yet. I’ve got your back.’

“When we wrote it, it felt like God was in the room and we were vessels channeling something bigger than ourselves,” she adds. “When I sing it live, people cry and to me, that is the greatest gift music can offer: a moment that moves the soul.”

Written by Bosko with Rachel Thibodeau, Jet Harvey and Michael Wilkes, and produced by Trent Willmon, the track serves as a tender reminder that even during our darkest or most uncertain moments, we’re never truly alone:

As she continues to build momentum towards her anticipated full LP debut later this year, “God Winks” follows “California Cowgirl,” with Celeb Secrets boasting “Annie is bringing her unique blend of West Coast cool and down-to-earth country to the forefront,” as she’s “rewriting the script with her sun-drenched vocals and authentic country roots, proving cowboy boots and Pacific breezes are a perfect match.”

A top 40 hit at Country radio, Bosko’s current single, “Better Than You,” a duet with multi-Platinum selling neo-traditionalist Joe Nichols, landed in the top five most-added songs at Country radio for five consecutive weeks, including one week before impact date, as MusicRow boasts the song is “Terrific listening...Goosebump-thrilling sounding.”

Fresh off a Mane Stage performance at Stagecoach and her Rodeo Houston debut, Bosko is set to perform at Country Summer Music Festival, the North Dakota State Fair, CMA Music Fest and Headwaters Country Jam later this summer. For additional information, visit AnnieBosko.com.

About Annie Bosko
With a voice that beams like a ray of California sunshine, singer-songwriter Annie Bosko returns to the studio, channeling fresh inspiration into a new chapter of music. Writing alongside David ‘Messy’ Mescon, Jeffrey Steele, Bridgette Tatum, and more, and collaborating with producer Trent Willmon, Bosko is crafting songs that reflect her upbringing as a farmer’s daughter. With “California Cowgirl” via Stone Country Records from her forthcoming debut album, Bosko embraces her west coast roots that run deep in the heart of California’s agricultural country, providing a backdrop that continues to inspire her blend of signature ‘90s country twang and raw, heartfelt storytelling. Her self-titled EP, released via Stone Country Records, saw the Golden State native making her late-night debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” with a performance of “Neon Baby” – a track that also marked her first charting single at Country radio. Bosko followed her acclaimed EP with stunning collaborations featuring country icons including Vince Gill on the reflective ballad “Higher Ground” and Dwight Yoakam on the Bakersfield-rooted “Heart Burn.” Current single and top 40 hit duet “Better Than You” with Joe Nichols hit the Country radio airwaves as a top five most-added song for five consecutive weeks, including one week before impact. BEAR MACE Release Crushing New Single “Drown Them In Their Blood”

Chicago death metal destroyers BEAR MACE have unleashed their latest single, “Drown Them In Their Blood,” a brutal, mid-tempo assault taken from their acclaimed third album Slaves of the Wolf. With its menacing groove and war-torn lyrical themes, the track stands out as one of the album’s heaviest moments. Pre-orders for Slaves Of The Wolf are available HERE.

“Going deep into your enemy’s territory to annihilate them in the middle of the night. It is sometimes a necessity in warfare,” says vocalist CHRIS SCEARCE, whose lyrics bring a visceral, tactical realism to the band’s ferocious sound.

Originally written at a much faster pace, the band made a deliberate choice to shift gears and let the weight of the riffs do the talking.

“‘Drown Them…’ started out as a much faster song,” explains guitarist MARK SUGAR. “But on a record that already has a lot of fast songs, we decided this one would work better as a slower, Bolt Thrower-ish crusher, and we made it so.”

The result is a grinding, doom-laced death metal anthem that channels the grim finality of combat and the unstoppable force of old-school heaviness. With its thunderous riffs and deliberate pacing, “Drown Them In Their Blood” is both a nod to death metal’s roots and a statement of BEAR MACE’s unstoppable evolution.

About BEAR MACE:

Formed in Chicago in 2012, BEAR MACE stands as a relentless force in the death metal genre. The band's name reflects their fierce approach to music—uncompromising and formidable. Drawing deeply from the well of early death metal influences, BEAR MACE crafts a sound that combines the raw aggression and complex narratives reminiscent of genre pioneers like Bolt Thrower and Massacre. Their music is not just an onslaught of sound but a meticulously woven tapestry of historical and fantastical themes, delivered with technical prowess and intense energy.

Over the years, BEAR MACE has solidified their reputation through both their recorded music and dynamic live performances. Albums like Butchering The Colossus and Charred Field Of Slaughter showcase their ability to blend brutal riffs with deep lyrical content, exploring themes from ancient wars to modern dystopias. With each release, BEAR MACE continues to hone their craft, engaging fans with music that is both thought-provoking and viscerally satisfying.

As they prepare to release their third album, Slaves Of The Wolf, BEAR MACE remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the death metal genre, ensuring their music is not only heard but felt—a true testament to their passion for and dedication to the spirit of heavy metal.

ICE NINE KILLS: Hell of A Summer US Headline Tour

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will bring the band’s twisted theatricality and cinematic carnage to arenas and amphitheaters across the country, closing out with a homecoming performance at Worcester’s DCU Center as part of the band’s annual Silver Scream Con.

The tour’s lineup spans a cross-section of modern heavy music’s most dynamic voices. From August 8 through August 31, Ice Nine Kills will be joined by Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and The Funeral Portrait. Beginning September 2, pop-punk cult icons Mest will also join the bill, continuing through the final dates in Florida. The September 13 show at Silver Scream Con will feature Dayseeker, The Funeral Portrait, Mest, and a very special guest appearance by A Loss for Words, closing out the run in chaotic style.

Spencer Charnas, vocalist and creative architect of Ice Nine Kills, shares:

“The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR will be a celebration of all things INK — past, present, and future.

It’s an eclectic bill, and having MEST on some of the shows is a particularly full-circle moment for me. As many Psychos will remember, I formed the band after seeing Goldfinger and MEST in Worcester 25 years ago.

The date is so important to me that I have it tattooed behind my ear.

The tour culminates in a sure-to-be historic performance at the DCU Center, where I experienced some of my first arena shows as a kid, including the Family Values Tour with our current tourmates, Limp Bizkit, and home of the Silver Scream Con.

The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR’s last stop, at the Silver Scream Con, will also feature some New England punk rock royalty as a very special guest.”

Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale via Ice Nine Kills 'Psychos Only’ app, beginning Monday, May 19 at 11am ET / 8am PT. BraveWords Records Announces the Signing of DAVID REECE for a New BANGALORE CHOIR Studio Album to be Released in 2026

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of DAVID REECE for a new BANGALORE CHOIR studio album, to be released in 2026.

David Reece comments on signing with BraveWords Records, "I am joining the BraveWords Records family for the release of the new Bangalore Choir album! I see BraveWords Records doing great things and I know that the team behind Bangalore Choir there will work tirelessly for this next phase of the band. I meet many Bangalore Choir fans while playing my live shows and see the response in the audience to such classics like Angel In Black, All Or Nothin, Just One Night and I feel this new album represents what them and I feel to be what Bangalore Choir is all about."

Giles Lavery, BraveWords Records A&R, "Signing David Reece to BraveWords Records marks a new and exciting chapter in my longtime friendship with this great artist and singer! David and i have been friends and worked together a long time, through many ups and downs... One of those ups was seeing him on numerous major festival stages around Europe in the last few years as a sober, clear-headed and well-focused man, one of those lows was quite some time ago in the previous decade after a no-filter and "to the point" heated exchange between us, where we both ended up in a near brawl with each other in a UK Holiday Inn on the 3rd floor at 2am — so who says this isn't a full contact sport?! Needless to say, our friendship has survived all that and more... David and i continue to be honest with each other and we are both pulling no punches on delivering the best album he has done in many many years. I feel the new upcoming Bangalore Choir album is one of his best yet, we got about halfway on the last record to that "On Target" sound, but with this new one i can say that we have hit the mark for real... It's 1992 all over again!"

David Reece will be hitting the road later this year supporting Girlschool and his BraveWords Records label mates Alcatrazz. David Reece's Bangalore Choir will deliver a blistering set of hits from both Accept and Bangalore Choir, showcasing one of the most distinctive voices in heavy metal.

This tour is also the debut of his relaunched version of Bangalore Choir

About DAVID REECE:
American singer David Reece first came to international prominence in the hard rock community joining Accept in 1987, replacing the iconic Udo Dirkschneider. With Accept he released the "Eat The Heat" album in 1989, a record that while somewhat divisive within Accepts more die-hard European fanbase, has no shortage of acclaim in equal measure from the wider hard rock and AOR community. David's voice was a perfect fit for both the more streamlined American heavy rock direction the band wanted to pursue at the time and the Heavy Metal stylings that are still found in great abundance on the record. Thus, songs like Generation Clash and XTC fast became staples of late 80's rock radio and fan favorites to the present day.

After departing Accept in 1990 David wasted no time in forming Bangalore Choir, a band that would showcase his immense vocal talents combined with first rate songwriting. Released via Giant Records in 1992, the bands debut album "On Target" has become an album held dear to lovers of melodic heavy rock the world over. Timing being everything, sadly the change of radio programming toward the then emerging Grunge movement halted a very promising young band from making the global impact it very well might have had if the album had arrived some years earlier.

David has gone on since to front many bands such as Bonfire, Wicked Sensation, EZ Livin' and more recently Iron Allies, but he has always felt there was unfinished business with Bangalore Choir, revisiting the project with the occasional release....which brings us right up to date, the latest Bangalore Choir album ... Its title a guarded secret at this stage. Needless to say, if you wanted more of what you loved about "On Target" this one will truly hit the mark.

PATCHWORK Releases New Album 'Scars'

After nearly a decade since their debut, metal band PATCHWORK returns today with the release of their powerful new album, Scars. The album is accompanied by the debut of a lyric video for the emotionally devastating closing track, “At The End," available HERE

Formed in 2010 by five longtime friends reuniting after years away from music, PATCHWORK has evolved from a thrash cover band into a formidable force of original songwriting. Scars serves as a conceptual sequel to their 2015 debut Exit Wounds, digging deeper into the emotional and psychological aftermath of trauma. Where Exit Wounds explored the moment of impact, Scars lingers in its wake.

The album showcases PATCHWORK's signature fusion of thrash, power, and speed metal, sharpened by tighter songwriting, intense performances, and guest contributions from heavyweights like Bobby Gustafson, Kragen Lum, Michael Gilbert, Dallas Toler-Wade, and Ronnie Parmer. New vocalist Heith Gruner and bassist Liza Sanchez inject fresh energy into the band’s lineup, giving the record a modern edge while staying true to its roots.

Among Scars’ 13 tracks is the heart-wrenching closer, “At The End,” a tribute to late band member Mark Sheetz, who passed away from cancer in 2023. Featuring lyrics written by Dave Caruana, solos by Kragen Lum, and a final recorded message from Sheetz himself, the track stands as the album’s emotional core.

Scars was written over six years and recorded at multiple studios, including Scars Studio and The Junkyard, with reamping completed at TVR Studio. The album’s production mirrors its themes: raw, honest, and unrelenting. Scars is available for purchase HERE.

The name "PATCHWORK" itself symbolizes the diverse elements that each member brings to the band, stitched together to form a cohesive and resilient artistic tapestry. Over the years, PATCHWORK has undergone several lineup changes, each time emerging with a renewed focus and energy that have enriched their sound and artistic direction, with Dave and Brad remaining as integral songwriters and collaborators.

Their debut album, Exit Wounds, released in 2015, introduced PATCHWORK to the world, showcasing their ability to blend melodic precision with raw power. The album was well-received, establishing the band as a formidable presence in the metal community. Since then, PATCHWORK has continued to evolve, exploring new themes and musical territories with each subsequent release.

The band’s latest album, Scars, is a profound exploration of the scars—both physical and emotional—that life’s trials leave behind. The album reflects the band's journey, marked by personal losses and the challenges of the ever-changing music landscape. Through Scars, PATCHWORK delves into the process of healing and the strength found in vulnerability, themes that resonate deeply in their meticulously crafted tracks.

AGENTS OF YOUR DEMISE

Featuring STEPHEN CHESNEY

SLASH'S SNAKEPIT VOCALIST ERIC DOVER, BILLY SHEEHAN, KoRn's RAY LUZIER & GUNS N' ROSES DIZZY REED for Fiery

NEW Single "SICK EXISTENCE"

"SICK EXISTENCE" is another song that musically sounds a lot happier at some points than it really is... it tells an important story, If you know you know. I've been waiting to finish this song for a long time so getting it out into the world has been a long time coming."

- Stephen Chesney

ON THE SICK EXISTENCE RECORDING PROCESS:

“We'd been hanging out at a crochet circle and after a lot of hand cramps and light banter we decided to throw our knitting needles at the b*tch giving the class and say stick these up your ass, we're going to go rock this f*cker.” - Eric Dover

THE SONGS

"What you hear on the record in a lot of ways is the story of the last 10/15 years of my life. They’re songs written during some crazy peaks and valleys and I think that makes it a very relatable record. A lot of anger, a lot of venting and a few receipts (maybe…) but there’s a pretty good sense of humor kept within the lyrics throughout. The musicianship of the guys involved is as incredible as you’d expect from them, it was amazing having the songs come together with guys that have the ability that these guys do... and then having Dizzy sign on for the final two songs I was tracking made all the time that it took to get to this point worth it.” - Stephen Chesney

THOUGHTS ON THE RECORD

“I had such a blast playing on this record,

Ray Luzier is so awesome on drums and Stephen played some spectacular guitar on his great songs. I’m glad I could be a part of this!”

Billy Sheehan

ON THE BAND COMING TOGETHER

“Stephen called me and said hey so i’ve got this idea and these guys in mind to put a band together for a record so I said whats in it for me? - He said he’d buy me a lap dance from a stripper and take you to Buc-ee's to buy beef jerky and I said you know what when you put it that way... by god I’m in.” - Eric Dover

LEGENDARY AC/DC SINGER BON SCOTT'S 79TH BIRTHDAY TO BE CELEBRATED WITH NYC TRIBUTE CONCERT,

Additionally, this year marks the 50-year mark since AC/DC's classic debut album, High Voltage – which spawned such all-time classic rock anthems as "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock n' Roll)," "Live Wire," and "TNT," among others. Also, if you caught AC/DC on their current PWRUP tour, you would have been treated to 10 (out of 21) Bon-era songs.

Few rock singers were as unforgettable – and have proved as enduring – as Bon Scott. As the frontman of AC/DC from 1974 until his tragic passing in 1980 (at the age of 33), his “rock n’ roll pirate persona,” street poet lyrics, and striking image (one of the first rockers to proudly sport multiple tattoos) have made him an absolute legend. Additionally, Bon’s vocals were featured in several pre-AC/DC bands, including Fraternity, the Valentines, and the Spektors.

But really, it is the quality of the songs of the “Bon-era” of AC/DC that serve as his greatest legacy – “Highway to Hell,” “Sin City,” “Whole Lotta Rosie,” “Let There Be Rock,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”…the list is seemingly endless.

How does Bon measure up to rock’s all-time great frontmen? Classic Rock Magazine declared him “The Greatest Rock n’ Roll Front Man of All Time” in 2004, beating out the lofty likes of Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, and Axl Rose in the process.

And now the spirit of Bon Scott lives on with the upcoming second annual tribute show.

Mercury Nashville singer/songwriter Bryce Leatherwood is set to perform on NBC’s “Today with Jenna & Friends” this Wednesday, May 14. The appearance will give fans a preview of the self-titled debut album arriving this Friday, May 16, from the season 22 winner of “The Voice.” “Today with Jenna & Friends” airs at 10 am local time (check local NBC listings).

Leatherwood is also set to return to "The Voice" stage for the NBC hit's finale on May 20. He joins a star-studded line-up that will include performances from Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper, Sheryl Crow, Joe Jonas, Kelly Clarkson and more.

The rising country star built his country-music foundations while bumping along in an old pickup on his granddad’s farm, legends like George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty crooned through fuzzy speakers, with their passion and conviction striking a chord. Now, the Woodstock, Georgia native is carrying those influences with him for his highly anticipated debut.

Pre-order Bryce Leatherwood HERE.

A mix of originals and expertly crafted outside cuts, Leatherwood lets his resonate vocal loose over 12 diverse tunes – centered on his rock solid country roots, but ranging from the pure-emotion of classic balladry to an expanding genre’s bleeding edge. Taking a hands-on approach with producer Will Bundy (Riley Green, Ella Langley), Leatherwood threads the needle between the timeless and trendy with surefooted ease.

“I’ve dreamt of making a record since the first day I picked up a guitar at 12 years old,” reflects Leatherwood. “I’ve spent the past two years developing this album, choosing each song with intention, creating the best introduction to who I am as an artist. I’m beyond proud of how it turned out, and can’t wait to share it with y’all.”

2024 was a landmark year for Leatherwood, which included making his Opry debut and headlining his first tour, the Neon Does Tour. And the country crooner is just getting started. He is set to return to the Good Molecules Reverb Stage at CMA Fest next month and has stops at festivals across the US this summer with more touring news to be announced soon.

In 2022, Leatherwood competed on the NBC hit television show The Voice and was crowned the Season 22 winner in December. Following his success, Leatherwood moved to Nashville where he has been songwriting and recording for his debut album on Mercury Records. A next generation traditionalist plugged firmly into the modern mainstream, with all the hallmarks of a rising star, Leatherwood concluded his first-ever headlining tour, The Neon Does Tour last year, made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Sept. 14, 2024, and he returns to Good Molecules Reverb Stage at CMA Fest this year. He is set to release his self-titled debut album on May 16, 2025 featuring latest releases “Where the Bar Is” and “Shenandoah.” For the latest, visit bryceleatherwood.com.

Behemoth Premiere Video For "Sowing Salt" + Album "The Shit Ov God" Out NOW

To celebrate the release of their critically acclaimed new studio album, The Shit Ov God, which is out now, Poland's kings of extreme metal, BEHEMOTH, have unleashed a stunning music video for their latest single "Sowing Salt."

NERGAL says, "'Sowing Salt' is arguably one of the most brutal compositions in Behemoth's catalogue to date. Unrelenting. Unapologetic. Absolute.
The video was directed by Zev Deans, with whom we've had the pleasure to collaborate before. He's crafted a visual that powerfully completes the song — musically and lyrically. And the lyrics? Just as radical and confrontational as music itself."

With the post-apocalyptic and retro-futuristic imagery that dominates the clip, BEHEMOTH enter new territory without sacrificing the visual leitmotif and thematic virulence they have established over the course of their more than three-decade-long career. Scroll down to watch the video for "Sowing Salt".

And don't forget to check out The Shit Ov God — BEHEMOTH's most inflammatory and extreme record to date!

NERGAL comments, "Nearly 35 years in, thirteen albums deep — that's a hell of a journey. And now, with full honesty and open veins, we give you this:
The Shit Ov God is upon you. The new era begins as we bled for this monumental labor! Take this, all of you, eat and drink from it for this is our body given up for you! Rejoice!"

Levels Share Video for "Strange Things"

SharpTone Records welcomed Central Arkansas-based quartet Levels — Kolby Carignan [vocals], Jager Felice [guitar], Jacob Hubbard [bass], and Dalton Kennerly [drums] — to its global roster back in 2023. The band dropped  Pulse EP last year. Get it here.

Levels are back with their first taste of new music in a year in the form of the video for "Strange Things."

Watch it below

"'Strange Things' captures the chaos, irony, and dark humor of a world spiraling out of control," explains the band. "It's a raw reflection societal and personal collapse; blending apocalyptic imagery with a rebellious spirit and a grim sense of liberation. It's about facing the end with your eyes open, a drink in hand, and no apologies."

Raise a pint, then! The song's industrial crunch and thick and hefty grooves will push it to the top of any workout playlist!

LEVELS are a cyber/industrial metal boy band from Arkansas known for fusing heavy music with elements of pop, electronic, and drum and bass. Since forming in 2016, they have independently amassed millions of streams, drawing influence from artists as diverse as Billie Eilish, The Prodigy, Static-X, and The Weeknd.

Following the success of their 2023 EP Pulse on SharpTone Records, which surpassed 1 million streams, LEVELS aren't adding to the noise; they're building something new, sharp, and unapologetically their own. Their sound fuses digital grit with raw emotion: Fark, distorted, and built to break through the static. LEVELS have built their rise on a fierce DIY ethic, steadily growing from small rooms to bigger stages, playing alongside bands such as Kittie, ERRA, Beartooth, The Devil Wears Prada, and more. LEVELS are more than a band. Their ever evolving world is built from cinematic visuals, visceral performances, and immersive storytelling, standing out in a hyper-connected yet emotionally disconnected era. With each track, they seek to reignite authentic connection. As they continue to carve their path through the metal landscape, their mission remains clear: don’t bury emotion – embrace it, channel it, and turn it into something that makes you feel again.

Billy Morrison Unveils Lyric Video for "We Are the Dead" through TLG|ZOID

Billy Morrison has just released the lyric video for "We Are The Dead," a standout track from his deluxe edition solo album, The Morrison Project. The album was released through TLG|ZOID / Virgin Music Group.

Morrison commented, "This album was a particularly cathartic one for me and I wanted to find a way to write a love song in a less than traditional way. My life changed in the last few years for the better and I wrote these lyrics in one session like a stream of consciousness - the concept of a love that is so strong, it transcends our human existence appealed to me greatly. I started imagining being dead and being with the person I love for eternity and that seemed to illustrate the strength I was feeling."

He continued, "'With your understanding, my world’s expanding'….. it speaks perfectly to gradually feeling like I can shed the defenses and walls that I’ve built up over decades. I am a far from perfect man, but with the kind of love and support I have, my world IS expanding and this song is me screaming that sentiment from the rooftops. The “Dia De Los Muertos” imagery reflects celebration as opposed to mourning, which seemed a perfect visual to accompany such positive and meaningful lyrics."

WATCH Billy Morrison - "We Are the Dead" (Official Lyric Video) Bellow:

Billy Morrison, the British guitarist, singer, and songwriter, has spent the past 15 years as the driving rhythm guitarist alongside Steve Stevens in Billy Idol’s powerhouse lineup. His recent collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne and Steve Stevens, “Crack Cocaine,” soared to #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, while the smash radio hit Gods of Rock N Roll further solidified his place as a powerhouse in the rock world. BraveWords Records Announces the Signing of ALCATRAZZ for a New Studio Album to be Released in 2026

BraveWords Records is excited to announce the signing of Alcatrazz, for a new studio album, their 7th, to be released in 2026. Alcatrazz is also working on another top secret studio project. The new album will build on the obvious strength of their recent three releases “Born Innocent” “V” and “Take No Prisoners”

Jimmy Waldo of Alcatrazz proposes the band perform at reopening of Alcatraz Prison, "U.S. President Donald Trump has recently made a claim that he wishes to “re-open” the high security prison, the legendary Alcatraz Island. Regardless of anyones thoughts on this, and make of it what you will … we really are the only logical choice… should this re-opening actually happen, we expect the invite from the Donald!. Alcatrazz would be the perfect and only band that should launch the “New Alcatraz Prison” as we have actually all spent time in cells in the joint (check out our video for “Island In The Sun”) climbed the famous prison tower, spent the whole day in every place on the rock … even inside the walls of the cells, where the famous escapes were attempted — so to play at the new opening celebration would be like coming home."

Members of Alcatrazz talk about signing with BraveWords Records,

Gary Shea: “Alcatrazz looks forward to merging forces with BraveWords Records, benefiting from the very impressive backgrounds of partners Tim Henderson, Michael Brandvold and Brian Adams. With their combined years of experience we will take on the Music Business and the Business of Music together. Let’s Rock!"

Jimmy Waldo: “It’s very exciting to be on BraveWords Records — great people that really get what Alcatrazz is all about, and are excited about taking the band to the next level. The combined background of the BraveWords brand already puts us at the forefront from Rock and Metal press, and the creative and innovative PR skills of Michael Brandvold gives this label an edge like no other… they are a one-stop shop for anything a band like us could ask for."

Joe Stump: "For multiple decades now BraveWords has always been my source for all things metal, dating back to when I used to buy their print mag at specialty record shops and news stands ... I'm thrilled to be working with their label and extremely excited for what's to come. As for the album: pay attention, we are ready to do some damage"

Giles Lavery: "To be singing for one of my favorite bands, and to also be close friends with these guys is something that might come along once in a lifetime… I now have that three-fold! as a member of Warlord, my recent work with Jack Starr on his new album and now with Alcatrazz! ...none of this I take for granted. My partners at BraveWords Records are also dear friends, so we have a great team all the way around. Lets just make a great record!"

About ALCATRAZZ:
Alcatrazz, formed in 1983 in Los Angeles, has been as well known for the legendary players and singers who have passed throughout the bands ranks as much as they have for their music.

Formed originally by the trio of Jimmy Waldo, Gary Shea (both fresh from late 70’s hitmakers New England and the short lived band Warrior featuring a pre-Kiss Vinnie Vincent) along with vocalist Graham Bonnet (himself with impressive credentials having been a then recent member of Rainbow and the Michael Schenker Group) the band set about completing the line up with drummer Jan Uvena (formerly of Alice Cooper) and a then very young Yngwie Malmsteen, a guitarist who had quickly made a name for himself upon arriving in the USA in the early 80s. The band issued their now classic debut “No Parole From Rock N Roll” album (1983) which was met with universal critical acclaim. Yngwie was soon to depart in favor of Steve Vai just in time for the bands second album “Disturbing The Peace” (1985).

The bands mission has always been a not necessarily stable line-up, but of an evolving union of established performers all forming a “supergroup” of sorts, one with perhaps more guitar fire-power than many, but definitely also with the songs to back it up.

Vocalist Doogie White (himself also formerly of Rainbow and Michael Schenker) served a successful two album stint with the band, while the “shred-lord” himself…the acclaimed Joe Stump (also a very established solo artist and a Berklee college professor) has now been the bands longest serving guitarist, with this year now making his 6th continuing year as a member of the band.

Longtime Graham Bonnet and Alcatrazz collaborator, producer, songwriter and vocalist Giles Lavery is now the man behind the microphone, having proved he was an inspired choice on two recent U.S. tours — having worked with the band in numerous other creative capacities since 2017 the band feel it was a logical move, but also one chosen on merit. Giles can be heard on the recent BraveWords Records release, Jack Starr's "Out Of The Darkness Part II" as well as his studio and live work with U.S. metal legends Warlord, a band who feature non-other than Mark Zonder on drums...himself a former member of the Graham Bonnet Band, Fates Warning, and worth noting here... as he is also currently leading the band A-Z who feature none other than Alcatrazz main man keyboardist Jimmy Waldo! confused yet? don't be, as all of this proves that there is a firm but perhaps overlooked consistency and lineage to what on the surface may seem like an ever evolving band personnel.

Indeed Jimmy Waldo continues to be the heart and soul of Alcatrazz… as aside from being the bands talented keyboardist, he has been the one who would, over the bands career find himself at the centre of all band affairs and decision making, from booking the band in the early days, working closely with the bands various record labels, to making sure other members, at the height of 1980s rock n roll decadence were present and accounted for when it came time to get the work done..."i think i even drove the tour bus once or twice back then" says Waldo... in fact it was Jimmy himself who personally selected Steve Vai out of a number of other contenders for the guitarist position in 1984 when Yngwie Malmsteen chose to move on to his own distinguished solo career.. "alot of people have come and gone over the years" says Jimmy... "It's kept it fresh and we are hardly the only band like that, we still have myself and Gary still holding down the frontline from that early era" Chris Impellitteri historically was one such player in line for the job, who may not have made it into the bands ranks back in 1984, but who in 2020 finally recorded with the band as a special guest on the successful “Born Innocent” album (co-produced by Giles and Jimmy).

Bassist Gary Shea, he who named the band and designed the bands logo no less… came up with the above-mentioned iconic album titles (lets also not forget “Live Sentence”) as noted above, has been flying the Alcatrazz flag with Jimmy for over 4 decades now and is looking forward to this next phase. Gary's recently published book "No Bass, No Party" is also an essential read for those wanting to delve deeper into the Alcatrazz story!

Bear Mace - Slaves Of The Wolf

In the heart of Chicago, amidst the city's vibrant cacophony, a ferocious new chapter is being written by BEAR MACE with their latest release, Slaves Of The Wolf. This third studio album, set to be unveiled on June 6, 2025, is a testament to the band's evolution and their unwavering commitment to the raw energy of death metal. For BEAR MACE, composed of Chris Scearce on vocals, Mark Sugar and Tommy Bellino on guitars, Garry Naples behind the drums, and John Porada on bass, this album is not just another collection of tracks—it's a narrative deeply rooted in the themes of warfare, survival, and the echoes of historical battles.

The journey of Slaves Of The Wolf begins with its opening track, an eponymous piece that channels the spirit of soldiers lost to the annals of history, their lives swallowed by the vast, cold embrace of war. This sets the stage for an album where each song weaves part of a larger, darker tapestry. From "Worthless Lives," which reflects on our dystopian reality with poignant lyrics and relentless riffs, to "Drown Them In Their Blood," a slower, heavier homage to the brutal necessities of war, the album crafts a compelling saga.

One of the standout tracks, "The Iceman Cometh," explores the chilling life of Richard Kuklinski with an intensity that matches the cold-blooded tales of his crimes. Meanwhile, "Captured And Consumed" features guest vocals by death metal pioneer Kam Lee from Massacre, adding a visceral layer to the haunting recount of WWII atrocities.

The production of the album, managed by the band and captured in the diverse acoustics of Hypercube Studios and Miracle On Mace Street Studios, showcases the meticulous care of engineer Sanford Parker and mixing and mastering by Damian Herring. This technical expertise ensures that each note and nuance is sharply delivered, from the guttural depths of Chris's vocals to the dual assault of Mark's and Tommy's guitars.

The visual representation of the album, crafted by artist Dedy Badic, mirrors the music's raw ferocity and historical depth, encapsulating the essence of BEAR MACE's narrative in a striking image that promises to resonate as powerfully as the music itself.

As Slaves Of The Wolf prepares for release, BEAR MACE is also gearing up to bring this new material to life on stages across the country. Known for their explosive live performances, the band promises to deliver shows that not only showcase their latest work but also highlight their growth as musicians and storytellers.

For fans old and new, Slaves Of The Wolf is more than just an album. It's an invitation to explore the depths of human history and emotion through the lens of BEAR MACE’s distinctive, relentless sound. As June approaches, the anticipation builds not just for a series of tracks, but for a powerful narrative set to be unleashed in the most explosive way possible.

About BEAR MACE:

Hailing from the robust metal scene of Chicago, Illinois, BEAR MACE has carved a formidable niche within the death metal genre since their inception in 2012. The band’s name, a nod to both ferocity and defense, perfectly encapsulates their sound: relentless, powerful, and unyielding. Comprised of vocalist Chris Scearce, guitarists Mark Sugar and Tommy Bellino, drummer Garry Naples, and bassist John Porada, BEAR MACE is a force to be reckoned with, known for their brutal riffs, historical and darkly imaginative lyrical content, and explosive live performances.

BEAR MACE's music is a deliberate throwback to the death metal of the late '80s and early '90s, drawing significant inspiration from the genre's pioneers like MASSACRE and BOLT THROWER. Their sound is characterized by a blend of raw aggression and meticulous craftsmanship, with themes that delve into historical wars, mythical narratives, and modern dystopias. This thematic depth sets BEAR MACE apart, as they weave intricate stories with each track, engaging listeners not just with sound, but with storytelling that invites reflection on the past and present.

Since releasing their first demo, Kodiak Killers, in 2014, BEAR MACE has consistently upped the ante with each subsequent release. Their debut album, Butchering The Colossus (2017), was a breakout success, establishing them as serious contenders in the metal community. This was followed by Charred Field Of Slaughter in 2020, an album that received acclaim for its intensity and complexity, further solidifying the band’s reputation.

Beyond their studio recordings, BEAR MACE is known for their dynamic live shows, which capture the band’s energy and technical prowess. They have shared stages with notable bands and played at major festivals, strengthening their presence in the metal scene. Their tour with death metal legends MACABRE in the summer of 2022, including a co-headlining spot at Into The Darkness Fest in Ohio, highlights their standing among contemporaries and legends alike.

The release of their third album, Slaves Of The Wolf, in 2025 marks another milestone for BEAR MACE. This album not only showcases their growth as musicians but also highlights a stable lineup that has been together for over five years. With Slaves Of The Wolf, BEAR MACE continues to push the boundaries of their sound while paying homage to the roots of death metal, crafting tracks that are both aggressive and deeply narrative.

As BEAR MACE continues to evolve and expand their auditory assault, their dedication to the craft and their fans remains unwavering. With a solid foundation and a clear vision, they are poised to remain a staple in the playlists of metal enthusiasts and a commanding presence on the global metal stage.

BASK Cover The Brian Jonestown Massacre

After a smoking hot tour with their labelmates and fellow North Carolinians Weedeater, Bask are now ready to turn over a different kind of leaf. The Asheville natives will release their fourth album later this year. But first, the band are looking back at one of their influences.

"We've always been inspired by acts like The Brian Jonestown Massacre", says guitarist and vocalist Zeb Wright. "They write songs that feel outside of time and place".

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the documentary that thrust The Brian Jonestown Massacre into the spotlight, today, Bask are releasing a cover of "Anemone". The road to get to this point has been much smoother than it was for the shaggy San Franciscan collective, but the heavy dose of Americana that the band bring to this cult classic shows how far they've come.

Listen to Bask's heavy and heady cover of "Anemone" below:

Even though they're separated across coastlines and nearly three decades, Bask and The Brian Jonestown Massacre were in a similar headspace heading into their fourth albums. While partially named after the Rolling Stones' guitarist, BJM shifted from spaced-out shoegaze to flower-powered '60s psychedelia on 1996's Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request. Bask's upcoming full-length also ventures into headier pastures, though their cover of that album's sleeper hit "Anemone" is plucked straight from the band's Appalachian roots.

"You should be picking me up / Instead you're dragging me down", Wright repeats in a dazed drawl while twanging on his banjo.

Bask haven't endured nearly the same amount of lineup turnover as their kindred spirits in The Brian Jonestown Massacre. On "Anemone", Drummer Scott Middleton and bassist Jesse Van Note hold down a bottomless groove that's as sludgy and free-flowing as a riverbed. But this cover is the first release since Jed Willis joined as the band's official fifth member. As his pedal steel ripples against Ray Worth's colorfully swirling leads, the band take cosmic country into a whole new dimension.

"'Anemone' is hypnotic in its repetition and perfectly expresses the combination of emotional distress and unbothered cool that to us feels so integral to BJM's sound and songwriting", Bask says. "It's also really fun to play and riff on".

Hailing from Carolina’s storied Blue Ridge Mountains, Bask came together in the fall of 2013. Guitarist Ray Worth, drummer Scott Middleton, bassist Jesse Van Note and guitarist/vocalist Zeb Wright produce sounds that reflect their lush yet rugged Appalachian habitat.

The band's upcoming fourth album is an inter-dimensional Western that digs its heels into their trailblazing Heavy Americana by swirling between raw, metallic energy and country twang.

EXILED HOPE Releases Lyric Video For "Behold My Shattered Skies"

Critically acclaimed gothic power metal artist EXILED HOPE, has revealed a lyric video for "Behold My Shattered Skies". The song is taken from Apocrypha, which was released on all streaming platforms on April 11, 2025.

"Behold My Shattered Skies" is a standout track on Apocrypha, with a sound that blends both folk metal and 70s rock bands like Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac with a cinematic quality. Sofia comments,  “Behold My Shattered Skies” is very different from the rest of the album because it’s a purely acoustic folk song (with extra synth layers for ambience). This song is an outlet for my spooky folk influences, which is a genre that I love almost as much as metal. This song was strongly inspired by the soundtrack to The Witcher 3, drawing from “Ladies Of The Woods” and “Priscilla’s Song”. I took it as another opportunity to add a soundtrack-style feel to the album and to remind listeners that my influences venture beyond even all the various metal subgenres."

About EXILED HOPE:

Multi-instrumentalist Sofia Frasz established EXILED HOPE in 2019, and draws musical inspiration from the likes of AVANTASIA, NIGHTWISH, KAMELOT and CRADLE OF FILTH to name a few. EXILED HOPE’s releases all take place in the same fictional universe and combine to form a dark fantasy metal opera. Each album centers on a character dealing with both an internal and external conflict in this world, and the lyrics explore how they navigate those conflicts. This is intended to provide some kind of escapism through the lyrical world building, while still keeping the songs grounded in real, relatable emotions despite their fantastical setup. EXILED HOPE is working towards the next album, Apocrypha, due to be released April 11th, 2025. Through EXILED HOPE, Sofia has composed music for two short films, Hallowed Paths and What Happens After Midnight, and has collaborated with UK melodeath outfit STEEL FORGE.

Canadian pop songstress Linds Sais presents 'Golden Hour’, heralding debut EP

Canadian pop starlet Linds Sais presents the single 'Golden Hour', a slick and grooving sonic delight that heralds her debut 'Glitter Cowgirl' EP. With a voice that floats like vapor and hits like velvet, this a sun-soaked ballad that channels the glow of radiant selfies into a playful, feel-good anthem for your inner hype squad.

This song explores the sunny intersection of self-love, community and social media. While it's true that social media often gets a bad rep for its negative aspects, 'Golden Hour' challenges this notion by highlighting the positive elements of these apps. In the accompanying video, Linds Sais acts as a hype woman, encouraging girls to feel their best and summon their best selves to shine through.

"Golden Hour was inspired by the social media trend, where girls take selfies of themselves during the magical part of the day, when the sun hits just right in a brilliant golden hue," says Linds Sais.

"The song is like being in the comment section of your best friend's selfie - empowering, fun and carefree, tied together with cheeky lyrics!"

Hailing from the heart of Canada—Winnipeg, where prairie skies stretch as wide as her vocal range—Linds Sais is a study in contrasts. Quiet in conversation, bold in expression, she’s the kind of artist who doesn’t need to shout to be heard. The moment she steps behind the mic, her voice—delicate as sugar, yet commanding when called—becomes her loudest truth.

Inspired by Lauryn Hill and Whitney Houston, and rooted in the soul-bearing intentionality of Alicia Keys and vocal fire of TLC, Linds blends classic influence with a fresh sensibility that feels entirely her own. Her sound is silk-wrapped storytelling: smooth, vulnerable, and unexpectedly powerful when the emotion demands it.

The seeds for this debut EP were laid during the hush of the pandemic, when something shifted. The world paused—and Linds hit play on the backlog of emotion and experience she had yet to articulate. What emerged was a flood of songwriting that felt both personal and universal with lyrics and hooks that often hit in the middle of the night.

We have her a glimpse of her forthcoming debut abum 'Glitter Cowgirl' - a mood, a movement and a mirror for those trying to grow up gracefully in this chaotic world. Imagine leafing through your best friend’s diary while the stereo pumps a disco beat. There are slumber party highs, teary-eyed truths, and basslines that feel like heartbeats. From live instrumentation to shimmering synths, it’s part pop confessional and part cosmic dancefloor.

The 'Golden Hour' single is out now from fine music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music  and Bandcamp. Her self-released 'Glitter Cowgirl' EP will be released digitally on August 1.
