Wallen Reveals 37-Song Tracklist feat. Collabs with Tate McRae, Post Malone, Eric Church & More

After spending the past few weeks teasing song titles from his upcoming album I’m The Problem on NBC’s Saturday Night Live and Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Morgan Wallen is revealing the full tracklist to the robust 37-song project. Featuring collaborations with pop superstars Post Malone and Tate McRae, plus close friends Eric Church, ERNEST and HARDY, I’m The Problem arrives May 16. Pre-save HERE.

The album opens with the title track, “I’m The Problem,” a cutting double-edged confession that reveals the complexities of a relationship at its lowest point. It concludes with “I’m A Little Crazy,” a quiet, self-reflective song that looks inward while examining the world outside. Between all of that, Wallen displays his ability to reach listeners on a granular level.

While Wallen co-wrote 22 of the tracks on the album, he tapped into 49 songwriters, curating a tracklist that’s both deeply personal and resonant, while viewing life events through a different lens than he’s used in the past.

“A lot of the concepts and things we said were a little more difficult with this album,” Wallen says of the writing and refining process. “We were trying to dig deep on things and trying to find new angles. And I feel like we did that. I feel like there's a lot of stuff that I haven't said in this record, which I'm really, really proud of.”

I Ain’t Comin’ Back (Feat. Post Malone),” available Friday, marks the duo’s second collaboration following the crossover success of “I Had Some Help” last year, which recently topped two billion global streams. Written by Wallen, Louis Bell, Michael Hardy, Austin Post, Ernest Keith Smith and Ryan Vojtesak, and produced by Joey Moi, “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” teases a cheeky play-on-words, as the guy leaves the relationship, vowing never to return: There’s a lot of reasons I ain't Jesus / But the main one is that I ain’t coming back.

Pre-save “I Ain’t Comin’ Back (Feat. Post Malone)” ahead of Friday, HERE.

Wallen recently became the first artist ever to have two albums spend over 100 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. With each album, Wallen has refined his music, but with this one, Wallen digs even deeper, providing a glimpse into his life that feels more intimate, more grounded and closer to his core.

The project sparked Wallen’s 2025 I’m The Problem Tour. Kicking off June 20 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, Wallen’s 20-show run will include stops in Seattle, Washington; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Toronto, Ontario and more. With a second stop recently added in Madison, Wisconsin, Wallen’s appearances will mark the first time an artist has played two consecutive nights at Camp Randall Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel join in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as first-of-three across select dates. Coupled with Wallen’s Sand In My Boots Festival, these 21 shows are the only place to see the superstar in 2025.

FALLUJAH DEBUTS NEW SINGLE 'LABYRINTH OF STONE'

Progressive death metal masters FALLUJAH have revealed the second single, ‘Labyrinth of Stone,’ from their upcoming 6th album, Xenotaph, that’s due out June 13th from Nuclear Blast Records.

Commenting on the new single, founding guitarist Scott Carstairs states:

‘Labyrinth of Stone’ is nearly six minutes of pure, mind-bending tech death and prog. From start to finish, this track will tear your face off. We guarantee you’ve never heard Fallujah like this before. Prepare your ear holes and eyeballs for one of the most ridiculous tracks and music videos we’ve ever produced.

FALLUJAH’s eagerly awaited 6th album, Xenotaph, is available for pre-order now on limited edition vinyl, CD and cassette.

Speaking about the album, vocalist Kyle Schaefer says:

We are excited to finally reveal Fallujah’s new album Xenotaph, marking the sixth chapter in our discography. This is our most ambitious record yet, and is certainly the band’s most technical, dynamic and progressive material to date. The music carried out by these eight tracks is matched with an equally ambitious concept, a lyrical story that traverses unfolding layers of time and reality in an otherworldly, post-death realm of existence.

Xenotaph is also our most collaborative album, with broad input from the current lineup leading us to expand the scope of our songwriting while simultaneously highlighting the true potential of everyone involved. We hope you’ll join us in welcoming this bold new stage of the band’s evolution.

About FALLUJAH:

Prog death-metal outfit FALLUJAH expand horizons and solidify their position as one of America’s most exciting acts on their new album, Xenotaph, through Nuclear Blast. The quintet’s confidence in the lineup that made their previous album, Empyrean (2022), such a resounding success—earning high marks from Metal Injection, New Noise, and Guitar World—has been reconfigured slightly, with guitarist Sam Mooradian (INHALE EXISTENCE, SAM MOORADIAN) and drummer Kevin Alexander (DISEMBODIED TYRANT, BROUGHT BY PAIN) bringing their jaw-dropping musical proficiency to the fold, as vocalist Kyle Schaefer, guitarist Scott Carstairs, and bassist Evan Brewer enter a new chapter with FALLUJAH. Moored by singles ‘Kaleidoscopic Waves,’ ‘Labyrinth of Stone,’ and ‘Step Through the Portal and Breathe,’ Xenotaph is FALLUJAH personified, reinvigorated, and re-imagined.

Xenotaph was produced by FALLUJAH, engineered by Dave Otero (CATTLE DECAPITATION, ARCHSPIRE) and Mike Low (VITRIOL, ABORTED) at Flatline Audio in Denver, Colorado and Top Track Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. Otero also mixed and mastered Xenotaph. The main goal was elevation, building upon yet soaring upward from Empyrean, one of the group’s strongest productions to date. The team focused the separation of FALLUJAH’s breakneck pace, meticulous songcraft, euphonious leads, and unrivaled intensity, creating an experience pulls the listener into Xenotaph’s high-caliber music and concept.

Beyond releasing Xenotaph to an anticipating fanbase, FALLUJAH take aim at the road, drawing upon the success of their Empyrean runs. Indeed, attendees to the group’s live performances have witnessed some of Xenotaph’s songs already, namely the shimmery prog-bounce and inner world horror of ‘The Obsidian Architect.’ FALLUJAH are in a perpetual state of evolution, and Xenotaphdemonstrates the group’s hard-won, if profound journey. For there is no reverse—only forward progress, and the path ahead is illuminating before them. Step through the portal if you dare…

SEVEN SPIRES Shares New Single "Love's Souvenir" + Music Video

Today, SEVEN SPIRES is excited to share their new single, "Love's Souvenir," taken from their recent album 'A Fortress Called Home,' out now via Frontiers Music Srl. The new single is accompanied by a music video, available below.

SEVEN SPIRES vocalist Adrienne Cowan comments on the new single and video:

'Love’s Souvenir' was born on one of the darkest days of the production of our fourth studio album 'A Fortress Called Home.' It’s a song about believing you must be extraordinary to be loved, and the aching marble museum that carves inside. It was a way to confront the shame of craving connection, and the long-standing fear of loss when there’s no energy left to perform. I always had the feeling 'Love’s Souvenir' needed a music video. Nearly ten months after the album’s release, we finally get to show it to the world: brocade-and-silk-clad agony filmed in a desecrated church in subzero temperatures. It’s beautiful and ugly, polished and raw as the album itself. Working with Chris Kells’ team again was cathartic and wonderfully arty as always. And, if it’s possible to say about something so painful, I’m incredibly happy with and proud of the final result 🤍"

Watch the Music Video for "Love's Souvenir" below:

SEVEN SPIRES is an American symphonic metal band. Since their inception in 2013 at Berklee College of Music, these best friends have forged their home in the darker corners of the melodic metal world. Known for their penchant for pushing genre limits, they draw influence from across the spectrum of metal and beyond, reaching ravenously into jazz, late Romantic-era orchestral music, and cinematic soundscapes.

To support the release of their fourth studio LP, 'A Fortress Called Home,' SEVEN SPIREStoured on three continents: first in Europe as direct support to Skálmöld with Atavistia as first support, then in North America directly supporting Kamelot with Ad Infinitum also featured on the bill. To end 2024, SEVEN SPIRES embarked on their first-ever headlining tour of Japan with Lords of the Trident.

In 2025, SEVEN SPIRES is slated to perform at Wacken Open Air and Rock in Rautheim in Germany, Leyendas del Rock in Spain, and Legions of Metal in the United States, before embarking in the fall on a run of UK dates with Sonata Arctica, quickly followed by a European tour with Ad Infinitum and Phantom Elite.

The band’s previous touring history includes North America with Eluveitie and Omnium Gatherum in 2023, Europe with Twilight Force and Silver Bullet in 2023, as well as North America with Dragonforce, Firewind, and Visions of Atlantis in 2022. They have also performed at prestigious metal festivals, such as 70000 Tons of Metal, Metaldays, ProgPower USA, and Mad With Power Fest, where they played a sold-out, nearly two-hour headline show in 2023.

We Came As Romans Return With Defiant New Anthem "Bad Luck"

Beloved metalcore torchbearers We Came As Romans are back today with a searing new single, “Bad Luck”. The track marks the band’s first release of 2025 and kicks off a bold new chapter following their critically acclaimed 2022 album 'Darkbloom'. Fueled by thunderous grooves, anthemic hooks, and raw reflection, “Bad Luck” is a statement of defiance from a band that’s weathered more than most. Listen HERE and watch the visualizer below.

Speaking on their new single, frontman Dave Stephens shares

“Bad Luck is a song that is so important to each of us. Lyrically, it’s about our journey as a band since the very beginning. We’ve faced so many setbacks and problems behind the scenes, and sometimes it feels like Bad Luck is all we have — but the way that we’ve persevered through all of them to become who we are today is the real story, not the issues along the way.”

Bad Luck” opens with an eerie, looped vocal sample before exploding into a hammering riff and a soaring chorus. The lyrics lay bare years of struggle, survival, and growth, culminating in another of their signature, arena-ready choruses -  “I spent all my life wondering why the bad luck always comes so easy… All this time, I’ve realized the worse things in life are free.” It’s a fierce reckoning with everything the band has persevered through together and a hard-earned rally cry—one that captures the essence of We Came As Romans’ evolution and unwavering commitment to push forward.

With performances already announced at major US summer festivals including Welcome To Rockville, Inkcarceration, the returning Warped Tour, Louder Than Life and When We Were Young and with plenty more news to come from We Came As Romans, 2025 is shaping up to be another stellar year for a band that have remained a defining force in heavy music for almost two decades. Keep an eye out for more coming very soon.

ABOUT WE CAME AS ROMANS

We Came As Romans continue to progress and evolve at lightspeed, maintaining a place at the forefront of heavy music and culture. Never content to follow, they seamlessly alchemize crushing groove-driven catharsis, spacey electronics, and arena-size singalongs into a sound that refuses to sit still—effortlessly moving between metal, alternative, hardcore, and rock.

The Michigan-born five-piece—Dave StephensJoshua MooreLou CottonAndy Glass, and David Puckett—first broke through with Tracing Back Roots (2013), which cracked the Billboard 200 Top 10 and hit #1 on both the Independent Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. Their self-titled 2015 album followed, debuting at #11 on the Billboard 200, cementing their status as modern metalcore royalty.

Following the tragic loss of original vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018, the band has continued to honor his legacy with their 2022 album, Darkbloom, their highest-praised record to date. Kerrang! awarded it 4 out of 5 stars, calling it “a carrier for a knot of emotion, and a tribute to their friend.” It featured career-defining tracks like “Black Hole” (ft. Caleb Shomo), now over 102 million Spotify streams, and “Daggers” (ft. Zero 9:36), which surpassed 32 million streams. Media outlets including Loudwire and Consequence praised the album for its emotional range, sonic heft, and unapologetic vulnerability.

Bad Luck” is the next step in their journey—an anthem born of loss, scars, heart, and unrelenting drive.

Renowned Rock Singer RUSS BALLARD Shares New Single “I Know There's Something Going On”

Today, renowned rock singer RUSS BALLARD is pleased to share his new single and accompanying video “I Know There's Something Going On,” taken from his upcoming double album 'Songs From The Warehouse / The Hits Rewired,' out on April 25th, 2025 via Frontiers Music Srl.

This release is a real treat for all rock fans: the first CD contains new songs, which show once again that the inspiration never left RUSS, while the second CD includes brand new recordings of famous hits either penned or performed by him during the years.

About the new single, RUSS BALLARD says:

“That was a quick one. I wrote it when the first digital reverbs came out. I played around with these new sounds, took my holey guitar and that’s it. It took me an hour to write it from start to finish. Phil Collins turned it into a massive song then with his drum sound. Years later, Fridasaid she wished I did more songs for her. How lovely from her.”

BALLARD also expresses his excitement for the album:

“It’s a buzz releasing a new album. What started as my 'Lockdown-tapes' during the pandemic became an album! During lockdown, my studio was a life saver for me, and I found new ways of writing and recording. The result gives the listeners a good insight into this time - have a listen!”

Watch the Video for “I Know There's Something Going On” below

RUSS BALLARD is simply one of the most renowned and gifted songwriters in pop and rock music. His music career started when he was only 14 years old and he wrote a tune, which was recorded by The Shadows, appearing on their album 'The Sound Of The Shadows' in 1964.

During the 70’s and 80’s, his songs ruled the airwaves and the list of hits is pretty much endless. From “Since You Been Gone” (Rainbow), “God Gave Rock'n'Roll To You” (Argent and Kiss), “So You Win Again” (Hot Chocolate), “New York Groove” (Hello and Ace Frehley), “You Can Do Magic” (America), “Winning” (Santana) or “I Don’t Believe In Miracles” (Colin Blunstone) – just to name a few – everyone who needed a great song knew that with RUSS BALLARD they could not go wrong.

Numerous records/artists were also produced by him, like Roger Daltrey, America, Elkie Brooks, Skindred or Sada Vidoo. In 1974, he started a solo career (after his stint with the band Argent in early 70’s), which had its highest momentum with the 'S/t' album in 1984 (which included the hit single “Voices”) and the follow up “The Fire Still Burns”.

Since then, BALLARD has released 10 studio albums and is still writing and producing hits. Three songs from his 1984 and 1985 albums were featured in the TV show “Miami Vice” and were extensively played on dance floors around Europe.

Maddox Batson’s “First Dance” Extends w/ “The After Party” – 3 New Songs Out 5/2

There’s nothing like the anticipation of your first dance – or as an artist, your first EP – and budding singer/songwriter/entertainer Maddox Batson wants to keep the excitement going. Having sold out the first leg of his Road to Indio Tour in support of his 7-song March 21 release First Dance, the Tennessee teen adds three songs – “I Need A Truck,” “Somewhere South” and “2 Feet” – with First Dance (The After Party), available Friday, May 2 via Prosper Entertainment/Warner Records.

"We’re so excited to add a few tracks and release a deluxe of First Dance for our fans,” shares Batson. “I’ve been blessed to write with so many incredible songwriters – we have so many good songs that we’ve been playing on the road, and some have already felt like fan favorites. We just felt like we should get ‘I Need A Truck’ and ‘Somewhere South’ out to fans as soon as possible,” he adds of releasing a deluxe just six weeks after his first EP

“There’s one that felt important for me to share right now because it’s the perfect way to express how I’m coping with everything that’s happening, and that song is ‘2 Feet’,” he shares of a song he co-wrote with Tiggi and Mishon Ratliff and is a nod to his whirlwind year including his Grand Ole Opry debut, inaugural tour currently underway and first recorded music being available for fans. “I’m so excited to share even more music to our incredible fans with The After Party."

With “Girl In Green” and “I Don’t Like You Anymore” among the new songs already being sung back to him from the crowd at sold-out shows in Columbus, Ohio, Louisville, Kentucky, Raleigh, North Carolina, Huntsville, Alabama and more within the first two weeks on tour, Batson is writing and singing what he knows and it’s connecting. f28 observes, with “a performance that was both intimate and electrifying… the sight of parents covering their ears while their kids screamed with uncontainable joy was a testament to the infectious energy Maddox brings to his shows.”

As Batson looks ahead to his extended EP’s release and in particular “I Need A Truck,” the multi-instrumentalist adds, “Growing up in the country, you start talking about your truck when you're like 13. What's it gonna look like…what kind of wheels you're gonna get... whether it's a Ford, Ram or a Chevy. Usually that's passed down to you from your parents. Kinda like Coke or Pepsi.

“‘I Need A Truck’ is about finding that special someone you can share that experience with… and this song is me picturing what it’s gonna be like to ride around with her. Nothing like it – a beautiful girl and a good-looking truck. I can't wait!"

About Maddox Batson:
Maddox Batson navigates the world with wisdom and wit far beyond his 15 years. After the Nashville-born, Alabama-based songwriter began gaining notoriety covering songs from Zach Bryan, Red Clay Strays, and more, he started to write his own songs. Thanks to early singles like “Tears In The River” and “I Wanna Know,” Batson quickly showed that he wasn’t only a star at covering country hits, but an excellent writer of his own home-cooked cuts – a practice he saw first-hand as a co-writer on Lana Del Rey and Quavo’s smash hit collaboration, “Tough.”

With the arrival of his latest single, “Girl In Green” and his EP First Dance, Batson is ready to show the world what he can create all while preparing for sold-out live shows across the country, his debut appearance at Stagecoach Music Festival and more new music. Life is moving fast for the multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar & mandolin) who has fully embraced his next-up in country-pop music.  “It can be overwhelming, this life, but I’ve got a lot of good people surrounding me,” he explains. “I’m still just a kid, though, and I’m happy about that.” More at MaddoxBatson.com

Darius Rucker Named Ambassador for the Carolinas Golf Foundation

The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) is proud to announce that three-time Grammy Award-winning musician, philanthropist and avid golfer Darius Rucker has officially joined the organization as an ambassador for the Carolinas Golf Foundation (CGF), the charitable arm of the CGA. Known worldwide for his music and generosity, Rucker will now lend his voice and platform to help grow the game of golf and amplify the Foundation’s mission throughout North and South Carolina.

“I’m honored to be part of something that’s making a real difference through the game I love,” said Rucker. “Golf has been a huge part of my life – not just because I love to play, but because I’ve seen the way it brings people together and creates opportunities. I’m proud to support the Carolinas Golf Foundation and the incredible work they’re doing across my home region.”

As an ambassador, Rucker will help champion the Foundation’s efforts to promote access and opportunity in golf—particularly among youth, individuals with disabilities and underserved communities. His involvement will include appearances at select Foundation events, engagement in awareness campaigns, and collaboration with the CGA to drive fundraising and outreach.

Rucker, a resident of Pinehurst, N.C. just a few miles away from the CGA headquarters, is a longtime golf enthusiast with deep roots in the Carolinas and a strong track record of using his platform for good. His philanthropic endeavors include founding the annual Darius & Friends benefit concert and golf tournament in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, hosting collegiate golf events, along with support for public education, health care initiatives and military veteran programs.

“Having Darius Rucker join the Carolinas Golf Foundation is a transformative moment for us,” said Andy Priest, Executive Director of the Carolinas Golf Association. “Darius is not only a cultural icon but also a passionate advocate for the game. His influence and authenticity will help us expand our reach, deepen our impact, and inspire new audiences to embrace golf as a force for positive change.”

The Carolinas Golf Foundation was established in 1977 to support the growth and sustainability of golf throughout North and South Carolina. Over the past five decades, the Foundation has awarded more than $3.3 million in grants to support programs and initiatives that embody its mission to provide access to life-changing opportunities through the game of golf.

Through initiatives such as junior golf scholarships, First Tee partnerships, adaptive golf clinics, turfgrass research and community engagement programs, the Foundation has become a vital resource for growing the game in meaningful and lasting ways.

Rucker’s involvement represents a significant step forward in the Foundation’s evolution. His presence is expected to elevate the organization’s visibility and connect with a broader audience – particularly younger generations and those new to the game.

“We’re excited to work alongside Darius to bring more attention to the positive impact golf can have in people’s lives,” Priest added. “He embodies the spirit of the Carolinas and the values we’re working to promote – access, opportunity, and a love for the game that lasts a lifetime.”

The latest issue of Carolinas Golf Magazine, featuring Darius Rucker, is now available HERE.

Progressive Metal Unit MOTHS Announce New Album 'Septem' Out on August 1st

MOTHS, the Progressive Metal unit from San Juan, Puerto Rico, are excited to announce the release of their upcoming album 'Septem,' due out August 1st. In addition to the announcement, the band has shared the first single from the upcoming album titled "Gluttony." The new single is accompanied by a music video premiering on Metal Injection, and is available to view below.

On the new single, bassist Weslie Negrón shares:

"'Gluttony' is about the seductive nature of overindulgence—the way excess can feel like an endless feast until you realize you’ve lost control. The song invites you into this world of limitless pleasure, where every desire is satisfied, but at a cost. The more you take, the more you need, and before you know it, you're consumed by your own hunger. Jonathan (lead guitar), who wrote the lyrics, wanted each listener to feel like they were the one being tempted, not in some distant or abstract way, but in their own daily lives. Whether it’s food, greed, addiction, or any craving that never seems to be enough, the song puts you in that moment of temptation. The lyrics are meant to feel immersive, like a whispered invitation that slowly pulls you in. There’s a fine line between pleasure and corruption, and this song exists right at that tipping point.”

On the music video, Negrón comments:

"For the music video, we wanted to take a direct and unfiltered approach to visually represent 'Gluttony.' To bring this vision to life, we brought in Drew Storks (Shy, Low), whose work not only captured the essence of the concept but elevated it to the next level. Alongside Ian Garcíaand Kyle Devorroh, they translated the theme into something grotesque and visceral—turning the sin of excess into an unsettling, visual experience."

Watch the Music Video for "Gluttony" below:

MOTHS' upcoming album, 'Septem,' is a visceral journey through the Seven Deadly Sins, with each track embodying a facet of indulgence, obsession, and self-destruction—from the corrosive jealousy of "Envy" to the insatiable hunger of "Gluttony" and the rage of "Wrath." The album plunges listeners into a dark, immersive experience where desire spirals into chaos.

Diving deeper into heavier territory, MOTHS fuse elements of Death and Black Metal with their signature blend of Progressive, Psychedelic, Doom, and Stoner Metal, crafting a sound that’s both aggressive and atmospheric.

'Septem' was recorded in just five days at Romaphonic Studios in Buenos Aires, capturing the raw energy and inspiration of the setting. It also marks the debut of vocalist Mariel Viruet, whose range spans from haunting melodies to visceral screams.

The album was mixed by Walter Chacón (Los Fabulosos Cadillacs) and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Between the Buried and Me) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.

On the album, Weslie Negrón reflects:

"'Septem' is our most ambitious effort to date. From traveling to another country to record it, to the addition of a new vocalist, and creating it all amidst a world in turmoil—it's incredibly rewarding to finally see it out there. This album contains some of my favorite songs we've ever written as a band. You can feel our chemistry in these tracks, how we came together to make them happen, without any boundaries or 'rules' about how songs should be written. It's an intriguing, unpredictable, and unconventional album, one that I'm sure will feel like a fresh sound to everyone who hears it."

Pre-Order 'Septem' HERE

"Lost In Light" by TUMBLE

Toronto power trio TUMBLE is set to release their debut EP, Lost In Light, on May 2, 2025, through Echodelick Records (US) and Stickman Records (EU)—a blistering, 20-minute dive into the heart of heavy psychedelic rock and proto-metal. Fueled by thunderous riffs, hypnotic grooves, and an unrelenting live energy, Lost In Light is a bold statement from a band that refuses to hold back.

Recorded live off the floor at ProGold Studios with legendary Ian Blurton at the helm, Lost In Light strips away the polish of modern production in favor of something raw, visceral, and immediate. No click tracks, no unnecessary overdubs—just the sheer force of three musicians locked into a relentless groove. The result is an album that breathes, sways, and explodes with the reckless abandon of a band that thrives on pushing their sound to its breaking point.

The EP opens with "Laid By Fear," an ominous, slow-building behemoth that fades in like a shadow before bursting into a doom-laden, hypnotic riff, setting the tone for the album’s deep dive into existential dread and altered states of consciousness. It’s a song that feels like teetering on the edge of oblivion and loving every second of it.

That tension is broken by "The Less I Know," a full-throttle bluesy psych-rock ripper that channels the reckless abandon of early MC5 and Blue Cheer, with Liam Deak’s wailing guitar soaring over a locked-in rhythm section. It’s an electrified, high-energy burner that feels like an anthem for those who understand that the more you dig for meaning, the less you find.

"Dead By Rumour" follows, leaning hard into 70s sleaze rock swagger, with a chorus that grooves and snarls before a delay-drenched psychedelic solo melts into oblivion. There’s a chaotic energy to it—a band unafraid to let things spiral out of control before yanking the reins back just in time. The cliffhanger solo, the thunderous return to the riff—everything about it feels like riding the edge between mayhem and precision.

Side two kicks off with "Sullen Slaves," a track that fires on all cylinders from the jump, delivering one of the most melodic and rhythmically infectious moments on the EP. The song builds and collapses, a primal stomp giving way to an explosive proto-doom freakout, complete with frenetic solos and a crushing final push. There’s something almost anthemic buried within the chaos—a defiant roar against the trappings of modern society.

Closing out the EP is "Wings Of Gold," an all-out riff-heavy assault that careens forward with unrelenting momentum before descending into a massive, doom-laden instrumental section. The Geezer Butler-esque bass groove gives the song an irresistible swing, while Will Adams' drumming brings the whole thing down like a hammer. The song—both in sound and theme—leans into the myth of Icarus, a warning wrapped in high-octane rock fury. The lyrics paint a world flying too close to the sun, driven by greed and power, doomed to crash and burn.

At its core, Lost In Light is an album built on tension and release, power and restraint, euphoria and destruction. It’s an album that rages against the alienation and existential dread of modern life, captured in five tracks that never let up. Everything here works—the songwriting, the riffs, the dynamics, the sheer force of energy—all channeled through Blurton’s masterful production, which captures the band at their heaviest and most alive.

This is TUMBLE at full power—loud, unpredictable, and unrelenting. A band that thrives in the chaotic interplay between instinct and intention, refusing to be anything but themselves. Lost In Light doesn’t just demand your attention—it grabs you by the collar and drags you into the abyss. And once you’re there, you won’t want to leave.

Formed in Toronto, Canada, in 2022, TUMBLE is a hard-hitting power trio that fuses hard rock, psychedelic rock, and proto-metal into a raw, high-voltage sound that pays homage to the underground heavy rock movement of the late '60s and early '70s. With minimal effects, loud tube amps, and an uncompromising live energy, the band strips rock 'n' roll down to its most primal form—driven by ferocious riffs, dynamic rhythms, and hypnotic grooves.

TUMBLE’s music is as much about feel as it is about power, rejecting the overproduced polish of modern rock in favor of something more organic, untamed, and immediate. Taking cues from bands like BLACK SABBATH, BLUE CHEER, PENTAGRAM, and MC5, they blend blues-infused psychedelia with heavy, swinging riffs and a no-nonsense attitude. All of their recorded material is tracked live off the floor with no click track, allowing for a loose, natural feel and a tangible sense of danger in their performances.

The band consists of Liam Deak on guitar and vocals, Tarun Dawar on bass, and Adam Guerra on drums. Together, they create a sound that is both thunderous and unrestrained, with each instrument pushing the others to their limits. Their chemistry is built on instinct and improvisation, allowing them to craft dynamic and unpredictable performances both in the studio and on stage.

Since their inception, TUMBLE has built a reputation for explosive live shows, sharing the stage with bands like CROWN LANDS, MONSTER TRUCK, and IAN BLURTON'S FUTURE NOW. In just two years, they’ve gone from playing their first gig at the legendary LEE’S PALACE to earning praise from Bobby Liebling of PENTAGRAM for their cover of “Earth Flight.” Their commitment to keeping rock raw and unfiltered has earned them a dedicated following and growing recognition in the underground rock scene.

Their upcoming EP, Lost In Light, recorded with Ian Blurton at PROGOLD STUDIOS, is a testament to the band’s ethos—five tracks of unrelenting, fuzz-drenched rock ‘n’ roll that rage against existential dread, alienation, and self-destruction. Set for release on May 2, 2025, via Echodelick Records (US) and Stickman Records (EU), the record captures TUMBLE at their heaviest and most alive.

This is rock music in its purest form—loud, raw, and completely unhinged. This is TUMBLE.

TUMBLE is:

  • Liam Deak – Guitar/Vocals

  • Tarun Dawar – Bass

  • Adam Guerra – Drums

Nightfall Lead Beastly Anthem on New Single "Seeking Revenge"

Since rising up from Athens' underground in 1991, Nightfall have stood as pillars for Greek metal alongside current and former Season of Mist label mates Rotting Christ and Septicflesh.

Like their brothers-in-arms, captain Efthimis Karadimas and his Athenian rebels sculpt towering gothic melodies from fiery blackened death metal. Their monumental eleventh full-length is bolstered by a powerful message and the mightiest production in the band's pantheon-level discography. The latest single from Children of Eve charges into the heat of battle with the same vengeance that fueled their rise, but "Seeking Revenge" is spearheaded by the biggest hell-raising chorus on an album full of crowd-pleasers.

"We wrote this song in retaliation for the vengeful teachings that the catechism practices on us", Efthimis says. "It seeks revenge for the expelled ones, the traders of anathema, who have the outlandish desire to disobey Christian Svengali".

Children of Eve comes out May 2, 2025 on Season of Mist.

During Nightfall's most recent hiatus, Efthimis was diagnosed with depression. Now, he wears a black mask to cover half of his face, symbolizing what it's like to live under the invisible veil of mental illness. "When you have demons in your mind, you're not always an ideal companion", he admits. "That stigma can lead to isolation".

Now, Nightfall are encouraging fellow metalheads to speak up. The band have launched a new initiative called Metal Music Against Depression (MMaD), which is supported by European Alliance Against Depression in Germany. "We can talk about this. We can sing about it. We can build a community that's based on understanding", Efthimis says.

With Children of Eve, Nightfall return from the shadows to unite blackened souls everywhere with their darkest and most epic creation yet.

Hailing from diverse musical backgrounds, this dynamic group of talented players has come together to forge a path that is distinctly their own. Their journey began in Muscle Shoals where they honed their craft, and their chemistry as a band quickly became evident.

Now, In Theory have just released their new single “Since I've Been Loving You,” with special guest Eric Gales in tribute to one the greatest rock bands - Led Zeppelin. The single is powerful, emotional collaboration with guitar legend Eric Gales and Mike Mostert bringing down the house. This exciting dramatic version showcases the incredible vocalist Tony Covino, along with a special all-star cast of Glen Sobel-Drums (Alice Cooper/ Hollywood Vampires/ Motley Crue), Jimbo Hart- Bass (Jason Isbell), and Clayton Ivey- Keys (Swamper/Fame Gang). The song landed on both the New In Rock and Breaking Hard Rock playlists on Apple Music and the Gibson Guitar Rock playlist. Covino continues his thoughts on the track, “A passionate remake of a classic song for the modern era filled with blazing guitars from two powerhouse players. 10 out of 10!". Sobel, comments, “Mike and In Theory know how to take classic rock and infuse it with a modern edge. Creating something sounding both familiar and fresh at the same time. It was a pleasure to work with them!”. Lastly, Gales adds, “I am very proud and honored to be a guest on this rendition of such a legendary song, done by my guy Mike Mostert. GRAVEYARD - Team Up With GOAT To Release Collaborative Single 'Ship Of Fools'

Swedish rock veterans GRAVEYARD have teamed up with their long time friends GOAT to release a double A-side collaborative 7'' for record store day. While the first track 'Light As A Feather' had its digital premiere earlier this month, today sees the digital release of its counter part, 'Ship Of Fools'.

Both bands blend their sounds into a twin toke of sweat and singe. Born out of a history of house jams at GOAT HQ, the single unwinds GRAVEYARD's more meticulous nature. 'Ship of Fools' unleashes a tsunami of sound, guitars barreling down on the listener with ill intent. The wave crests and quenches, though, leaning into the soul-soaked direction of GRAVEYARD's latest album, 6. Head to head the bands dig towards a stadium sound that’s still slicked with the swagger of the ‘70s, but rolled in more of GRAVEYARD's grandeur than GOAT’s eclectic grit.

The flip side lights up the speakers, less dense than anything either band has hooked into for some time. The jammy approach that inspired the session pays off throughout 'Light as a Feather', soaking up prime-period Stones if they’d aimed for the heart of the sun with Father Yod in the driver’s seat. Sloughing off the shackles of verse/chorus/verse structure, the song picks up mid-ecstatic peak, the listener already in thrall to the groove, simmering in the sway-along harmonies before an acid-butter burner of a solo sends the whole thing rippling out into the cosmos.

Chicago's PUSH PUPPETS present ‘Similar’, definitive preview of their fourth album

Chicago-based indie pop-rock outfit Push Puppets presents their new single ’Similar’, the third single from their fourth long-play album 'Tethered Together', out May 16 via Flowering Tree Music and produced by Doug McBride (Smashing Pumpkins, Veruca Salt, Silversun Pickups, Cheap Trick). A favorite at the band’s live shows, this recording captures that energy with a little elegance on top.

The release of ‘Similar’ is accompanied by a vibrant new video, produced by Scott Thiele and Sebastian Gonzales with editing and animation by Metamorse Studio, which features eye-popping animations of DNA, brain synapses, x-rays, fireworks and other imagery that support the lyrics.

Push Puppets is the creative outlet for singer-songwriter and guitarist Erich Specht. The five-piece creates songs with earworm melodies and shiny production that belie often bittersweet sentiments. Specht (lead vocals, guitar) is joined by a core of Steve Frisbie(backup vocals, guitar), Kyle Magnusson (keyboards), John William Lauler (bass) and Greg Essig (drums). They earlier released the lead tracks 'All Together On 3' and  'This Whole Endeavor'.

On this song, they are joined by a string quartet, comprised of Stephanie “Sly” Youngon violin, Katherine Andrick on viola, Molly Rife on cello and Kelly Jozwiak on violin (note: Janis Sakai performs in the audio recording).

On ‘Similar’, Push Puppets come out swinging like arena rockers with a wall of backup harmonies and strings, as Erich sings about the commonalities among us in driving, anthemic style. With The Who’s influence apparent during the violin solo over an intricate synth sequence, this song ends with a head-bobbing hook with handclaps, driving home the title.

The 'Tethered Together' album is graced with impeccable songwriting that shines with lush harmonies, angular guitars, dramatic keyboards and strings backed by a rhythm section that smokes. Erich Specht muses on relationships and loss, as well as the weight and joy of life, in a manner that is poetic and seems effortless, his lyrics fitting to the melody like pieces of a puzzle. Wearing his vulnerabilities like a badge of honor, this music takes us on a journey to unexpected places.

As of April 16, 'Similar' is available from fine digital platforms, including SpotifyApple Music and Bandcamp. The 'Tethered Together' album, now available for pre-order, will be released digitally and on CD on May 16. Push Puppets will hold their album release show at Robert's Westside in Forest Park, IL on May 30.
