Coldwards Release New Single "Flatline" + Official Music Video

Alternative Metal band COLDWARDS released their new single "Flatline" along with the official music video to all major platforms via Wake Up! Music Rocks. "Flatline" is from their forthcoming EP Bad News.

"For us, 'Flatline' has a very personal meaning, it was written as a tribute to guitarist Wayne Swinny from Saliva who passed away in March but for the listeners it becomes an anthem for loved ones we lost way to soon," says Paul Crosby.

The band plans on hitting festivals in early 2024.

Coldwards (pronounced Cold-Words) is a five-piece rock band from Houston Texas comprised of drummer Paul Crosby of Grammy nominated + Gold and Platinum awarded Saliva (Click Click Boom, Always, Your Disease), as well as Paul's sons Sean Crosby (Vocals/Guitar) and Zac Crosby (Vocals/Electronics). Richie Hey is on bass and Michael Friese on guitar.

Together they make a powerhouse of heavy yet melodic riffs with immensely catchy hooks. Coldwards are a very percussive and vocal dominated style of music with chunky riffs and most of all deep lyrics with a message for today’s youth.

The band released their debut record Bloodwork on September 16, 2022.

Southern California's DAYSEEKER will embark on a headline tour this spring.

The tour kicks off April 19 in Tampa and runs through May 25 in San Diego. All dates are below, including key spring festival appearances, such as Rockfest, Earthday Birthday, and more.

Polaris, Rain City Drive, Avoid, and Ayron Jones are set to appear at select dates on the bill, as well.

Sleep Token Announce Radio City Music Hall Performance Set For 5/22

Come May 22, New York City shall gather in Worship at the esteemed Radio City Music Hall for an exclusive Sleep Token performance.

Since their appearance on YouTube in February 2023, EIHWAR has shook the Internet and concert venues. Although no promotion has been made and nothing is known about the two musicians, most of EIHWAR's concerts are sold out and we already know that the band will be scheduled at big European festivals in 2024.

Being part of a new generation of neo-Viking bands, they produce an empowering and brutal dancefloor music, composed of hybrid sounds, trance vocals, shamanic drums, traditional Nordic sounds and powerful machines. FOUNDING MEMBER OF BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, ALBERT BOUCHARD SET TO RELEASE THE FIRST IMAGINOS GRAPHIC NOVEL

Albert Bouchard is best known as a founding member of Blue Öyster Cult. The original lineup sold millions of albums for Columbia Records, with such classic songs as “(Don’t Fear) the Reaper” and the number one hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart “Burning for You.” Bouchard contributed to songwriting and lead vocals on some of its greatest songs, such as “Cites on Flame With Rock and Roll.”

Albert Bouchard has recently completed the Imaginos trilogy with the release of Imaginos III – Mutant Reformation. Bouchard has shepherded the concept of Imaginos through its many incarnations over the years, translating Sandy Pearlman’s feverish visions into sonic resonance. And luckil,y we're going to be able to make a party out of the release day since we'll be in L.A. at the Troubadour right after it drops."

Jordyn Shellhart Releases Cozy Christmas EP: 'Cross-Legged By The Fireplace'

Warner Music Nashville singer / songwriter Jordyn Shellhart is inviting fans to get cozy with her this holiday season with the release of her new Christmas EP, Cross-Legged By The Fireplace, available today. Steve Hackett launches ‘People of the Smoke’; first single from ‘The Circus and the Nightwhale’

Legendary rock guitarist Steve Hackett is set to release his new studio album ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’ on February 16th, 2024, via InsideOut Music. A rite-of-passage concept album with a young character called Travla at the centre of it, ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’s’ 13 tracks have an autobiographical angle for the musician who says about his 30th solo release: “I love this album. It says the things I’ve been wanting to say for a very long time.”
 
Today he is pleased to reveal the first single, and the albums opening track, ‘People of the Smoke’, and you can watch the video now.

‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’ is Steve’s first new music in over two years. Recorded between tours in 2022 and 2023 at Siren studio in the UK – with guest parts beamed in from Sweden, Austria, the US, Azerbaijan and Denmark, the line-up for ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’ includes some familiar faces alongside Steve on electric and acoustic guitars, 12-string, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, bass and vocals. GAUPA - Release Video For 'Sömnen & Febersvan - Live At Monkey Moon Studios'

Swedish progressive psychedelic rock band GAUPA has released a video for their digital single, 'Sömnen & Febersvan - Live At Monkey Moon Studios', a live rendition of two contrasting songs culminating in a captivating psychedelic experience.

It's the second excerpt from an intimate studio session the band played in late May 2023. Following their much-lauded appearances at both Desertfest London and Desertfest Berlin, GAUPA went to Monkey Moon Recordings in Dortmund, Germany and recorded three songs live over the course of an afternoon, 'Moloken' from their critically acclaimed most recent album Myriad as well as a breathtakingly intense 11-minute joint version of their songs 'Sömnen' and 'Febersvan', the former also from Myriad, the latter taken off of GAUPA's self-titled first EP.

P.O.D. Share "AFRAID TO DIE" (Feat. Jinjer's Tatiana Shmayluk) Video

Platinum-selling rock juggernaut P.O.D. — Sonny Sandoval [vocals], Marcos Curiel [guitar], and Traa Daniels [bass] — kicked off the fall with the video for their new single "DROP," which features a vicious vocal cameo from Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe. It earned quick press accolades from Metal Injection, Consequence, Revolver, Idioteq, The Pit, Yahoo!, and Knotfest.

Today, the band is back with another blast and is sharing the video for the equally eruptive single "AFRAID TO DIE," featuring Jinjer vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk.

Defeated Sanity have a long and bloody history. Their 1996 demo, Devoured By The Black, was crafted by father-son duo Wolfgang Teske and Lille Gruber.

Over the next 20 years, Defeated Sanity grew to become one of the most consistently innovative bands in all of death metal. Their take on sheer brutality is unmatched. The musicianship is frantic yet precise, informed by jazz, classical and a bloodthirsty taste for the old-school. Add today’s blistering modern playing style to the mix and you get a uniquely grotesque cocktail that has brought metalheads from across the globe to their knees, begging for more.      

After starting out via UK label Grindethic, Defeated Sanity found a new home on Willowtip. They released four acclaimed albums for the US label. Chapters of Repugnance was classified by Blabbermouth as “exactly the kind of sewage-spew bulldozing to which BDM devotees flock”, who recommended long-time bassist Jacob Schmidt’s low end for anyone interested in having “a lifetime of inner ear problems”. Even Pitchfork weighed in on their follow-up Passages Into Deformity, asserting that Defeated Sanity have always been a decapitated head above their peers.  

With the two-headed monster Disposal of the Dead / Dharmata, Defeated Sanity did something unheard of: they recorded a split with...themselves? The first half of the album was written in their native tongue of death metal, while the other veered all the way into progressive death metal by placing Cynic/Death to All vocalist Max Phelps at the helm.    

Heck, Defeated Sanity even broke onto the Billboard charts with their last album The Sanguinary Impetus, which fully welcomed vocalist Josh Welshman into their blood-soaked fold.  

Now, Defeated Sanity are signing to Season of Mist. Joined by new guitarist Vaughn Stoffey, the band are hard at work on their seventh album, which will come out sometime in 2024. They're also playing next year's Maryland Deathfest with new labelmates Severe Torture and Brodequin.

Lowlives Announce Spinefarm Signing + Band Shares Video For "Liar"

After a series of independent single and EP releases, West Coast-based raucous rockers LOWLIVES have announced their signing to SPINEFARM MUSIC.

Drummer Luke Johnson says, "We started this band with almost zero expectations. We just wanted to write music. At that poin,t we weren't even sure if this band would play live. Since then, it's been a complete 180. A hard path of pulling favors, blagging shows, putting songs out with very little help, besides a select few who saw the vision. To be here today, with a release partner like Spinefarm. is such an achievement for us. We couldn't be more excited to work with a world-class team."

"I wrote 'Liar' right in the middle of the first COVID lockdown," states vocalist/guitarist Lee Downer. "Once the panic had kinda settled down, the song came together in about 10 minutes. Lyrically, it started out about putting on a brave face, pretending that I was OK throughout it when I probably wasn't… almost convincing myself that everything would be alright. When we worked on the demo, I'd written at Luke's studio, we wrote the rest of the lyrics, and it became more about being someone you're not [and] feeling like you don't fit in to the point of creating a fake world in an attempt to feel more comfortable. You really want to tell the truth, but you're bought in to the lies so much that they have become your own personal truth.

LOWLIVES released their debut EP Burn Forever before embarking on their first-ever tour. Scheduled to support The Used, the band found itself in Europe with no shows to play after the headliners were forced to cancel last minute. Immediately getting on the phone and calling in favors from contacts they'd built in their respective former bands, the determined four-piece managed to book themselves two week's’ worth of shows, including a packed out headline appearance at London's Black Heart, and managed to fit in a live recording session for Daniel P Carter's Radio One Rockshow at the BBC's Maida Vale studios.

LOWLIVES returned to Europe that summer for the rescheduled THE USED tour and festival appearances including Reading & Leeds.

Further DIY efforts to tap into their network saw the band hit the road on both sides of the Atlantic with the likes of New Years Day, The Dirty Nil, Plague Vendor, and Saosin, to name a few.

With new material in the pipeline and a powerhouse record label behind them to build on their solid foundations, the world is about to find out just how high LOWLIVES can go.

ONErpm Launches Two New Entities: ONErpm Enterprise Solutions & OFFstep.com

ONErpm, one of the leading independent and forward-thinking music labels and distribution companies in the world, is proud to announce the launch of two new entities, bringing the total number of companies under its umbrella to five, with important changes to ONErpm’s core business.
 
The first, ONErpm Enterprise Solutions, is a Software as a Service (SAAS) platform that adapts ONErpm’s proprietary Content Management System (CMS) to cater to the unique needs of record labels and content owners seeking to grow more efficiently. This comprehensive administrative system streamlines digital distribution of music and videos and other essential day-to-day operations, including managing artist marketing campaigns, assigning work tasks to departmental employees and setting up payments, among other activities. The platform empowers companies to efficiently scale operations with transparency and has been a transformative factor for ONErpm since the inception of its CMS in 2019. Since then, ONErpm has experienced a more than fourfold increase in revenues and staff, largely due to economies of scale achieved.
 
“We want to partner with like-minded companies who need the technology and tools we have developed and fine-tuned over the years to take their business to the next level” adds CEO Emmanuel Zunz. “We see a need for this service as there are many interesting labels that might struggle to grow in an increasingly competitive environment where having robust tech will give them the competitive edge to succeed.”
 
The second company, OFFstep.com, which is Enterprise Solutions first project, is the group’s new DIY offering, where independent artists can upload and distribute unlimited releases for as low as $12 per year while retaining 100% of their royalties. At this price point, OFFstep offers the most affordable plan of its kind. As a result, ONErpm will only partner with artists and labels with whom it has forged relationships and, moving forward, DIY clients will be directed to OFFstep. 
 
Throughout its evolution, ONErpm shifted its focus toward offering bespoke solutions to artists and record labels and naturally became a full-service music label and distribution provider. With OFFstep, the company better caters to the needs of DIY customers in a way they have become accustomed to, at the most competitive price point. Upgrades to intermediate and advanced plans that unlock additional features and permissions are also available.
 
“Migrating ONErpm’s basic distribution service to OFFstep has been a long time coming, states Zunz. “For years we have invested in marketing personnel and built a global marketing infrastructure that can render services at scale while tackling the challenges of a constantly evolving digital market,” Zunz concludes.
 
With the addition of ONErpm’s publishing division introduced in 2022 and the company’s creative arm ONErpm Studios, that oversees recording and video production, ONErpm consists of five distinct entities, each with its unique focus and goals, yet that share synergies with one another.
