THE ALBUM:
Produced by longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin, Road is written, composed, and recorded with his trusted, longtime bandmates — Ryan Roxie [guitar], Chuck Garric [bass], Tommy Henriksen [guitar], Glen Sobel [drums], and Nita Strauss [guitar]. It channels the spirit of old school Alice with instantly recognizable grit and plenty of gusto. It's everything you’d hope for from him and more.

"Alice is unbelievable on this album." – Powerplay (UK)

"One of Alice's best all-time albums" – Record Collector (UK)

"Alice in top form" – Classic Rock (GER)

"A hugely enjoyable hoot." – Mojo (UK)

" [...] brilliant new hard rock, with one of the best backing bands in the business." – Associated Press (US)

"For Road, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs," says Alice. "I only see these guys when we're on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so."

Dead American Drop "ADD" Video

Dead American, a four-piece rock group out of Southern California, have unveiled the video for new single "ADD."

Watch the video
below. Stream the track here.

"Lyrically, this song is about the difficulty of finding balance when your mind is moving a million miles an hour. Sometimes, I feel like I'd rather hold my breath than deal with the constant shuffle of thoughts in my head," says vocalist Cove Reber (ex-Saosin).

After two years of touring with acts like The Used, Beartooth, Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and others to support their debut album New Nostalgia, Dead American are prepping their sophomore album, produced by Joey Bradford of The Used. The release will double-down on the "new nostalgia" theme with the band pulling from a time even farther back and fundamental to the member's approach to songwriting. "ADD," which is the abbreviation for "attention deficit disorder," serves as the first taste of new music in advance of the band's forthcoming studio album. The new album, the details of which will be revealed in the months ahead, is slated for release in the first half of 2024.

Fresh off two recent North American tours serving as support for The Used, Dead American will be releasing more new music and additional information about their new album in the coming months, as well as a preparing to keep up a rigorous touring schedule throughout 2024.

Dead American debuted in 2018 with the desire to tap into the nostalgic sound of 2000s post-hardcore with their EP The Shape of Punk Is Dumb, a sound they expanded on with their first LP New Nostalgia, which is arrived via Velocity Records in 2022.

"...you can hear a delicately strummed acoustic guitar here, a traditional flute there. Catchy riffs, most notably on the single 'The Spirit Returns,' coexist with ambitious tracks like the 13-plus-minute 'Moss Covered Bones on the Altar of the Moon,' which waxes and wanes like an epic saga." - The New York Times

PARMALEE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “GONNA LOVE YOU” TO RADIO

After topping the charts earlier this month with “Girl In Mine,” Parmaleereturns with their new single “Gonna Love You” on Stoney Creek Records. The new song, from the Billboard Music Award finalists, begins the week as one of the most added new songs on country radio playlists everywhere.

“This song is special to us in so many ways,” said lead singer Matt Thomas. “It’s a song we feel like anyone across the world can relate with. It’s also a combination of all the music we were influenced by growing up. We just filmed the music video a few weeks ago, and it takes on a major chapter in our lives. We all just knew this had to be the next single!’’

With four # 1 radio singles and three consecutive in as many years, Parmalee has now scored more #1’s than any other band or group in country music during that time.

“Gonna Love You” is the follow-up to their recent #1 single, “Girl In Mine.” That follows their 2022 #1 record-setting, “Take My Name,” which was Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2022, and the #1 Platinum hit, “Just The Way” with Blanco Brown. The band first topped the charts with a song inspired by their home state, “Carolina.”

Parmalee recently released their extended album For You 2, which features five new songs including “Girl In Mine,” written by Matt Thomas, David Fanning, Ashley Gorley, Casey Brown, and Travis Wood. The other new tracks on the 18-song collection include “Gonna Love You” (Matt Thomas, David Fanning, Abram Dean, Andy Sheridan), “Is It Just Me” – (Matt Thomas, David Fanning, Ashley Gorley, Ben Johnson), “Boyfriend” (Matt Thomas, David Fanning, Ashley Gorley, Ben Johnson, Michael Hardy, Hunter Phelps) and “Wish You Never Loved Me” (Matt Thomas, David Fanning, Ashley Gorley, Andy Sheridan).

SUPAFLY, A NEW MODERN ROCK PROJECT FEATURING RAY WEST OF SPREAD EAGLE, DROPS LYRIC VIDEO/SINGLE IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN! FULL ALBUM COMING IN EARLY 2024

As one of the more dynamic vocalists of the early ‘90s, NYC native Ray West’s defiant screams and guttural wails defined a generation of street metal-loving headbangers. With Spread Eagle, West aided in the creation of iconic anthems such as the tormented “Switchblade Serenade” and “Devil’s Road.” Like many of his era, West rode out a turbulent period, coming out on the other side wiser and more confident than ever. He had renewed vigor and enhanced melodicism. West sought to create his most personal music yet with his longtime friend and partner in musical crime bassist, songwriter, producer, and esteemed session musician Miguel Gonzalez. Both grew up in the Miami rock n roll scene and have deep roots to the area’s culture and vibe, which they are excited to infuse into this project.

The result of the collaboration is SupaFly’s The Vibe, which features revisited and remastered versions of tracks previously recorded, as well as new compositions. Brimming with heavy urban-power grooves, SupaFly represents an evolution for West and is perhaps his most personal songwriting to date. Landing ahead of the album release is a knock-down drag-out version of the KC and the Sunshine Band classic “I’m Your Boogie Man” with a SupaFly twist just in time for Halloween.  So why this track? West explains, “Mig and I have always loved the idea of taking a song like ‘Boogie Man’ and putting it through the SupaFly machine. We are paying tribute to a time when music was all about the groove and having a good time, all the time, while putting a modern-day twist on it with Mig’s production ideas. The vibe is on point, and the vocal performance gives a dark edge that makes me feel like the boogie man is gonna come through the walls and dance. I played this song on my friend’s system, and the drop almost took out his woofers!”

View lyric video below.

Gonzalez continues, “‘Boogie Man’ embodies where old school funk meets the dark side. Being a huge fan of funk, nothing is more appealing than to see it played with a dark edge.” When pressed what else can fans expect from SupaFly, West quipped, “Spread Eagle will always have my heart. That’s my history. But SupaFly is my calling card; it’s autobiographical and leads deep into my soul. That’s why I never let these songs go.”

The full album The Vibe contains ten tracks with the next single due out December 8.  Deko president, Bruce Pucciarello, comments, “There has been great teamwork and a sense of urgency to get this wonderful collection of songs prepared for launch.  I’m stoked we’re getting the ‘I’m Your Boogie Man’ video out before Halloween.  You will all see, this is straight forward, hard driving, passionately constructed rock.  The kind most of us love…”

About "THE WAR TO END ALL WARS – THE MOVIE":
Following years of hard work and research, SABATON has created "The War To End All Wars – The Movie" in partnership with Yarnhub, an animation studio focused on historical content. This is a 67-minute-long animated musical motion picture that is being released in English but will be made available with subtitles in a number of languages to cater to global audiences. The film vividly tells the World War 1 tales from SABATON’s most recent studio album, The War To End All Wars.

Referring to the movie, Lora Vogt, National, Vice President of Education and Interpretation, from the WWI Museum and Memorial (Kansas, US) declares: “Certainly, there is artistic license taken in the movie, but what I found so extraordinary was the team’s choice of stories. What a wonderful vehicle Sabaton has made to show the diversity of individuals and engagements of the war. Really fantastic! We look forward to sharing it with our audiences.”

Horrendous were on the cover of the September issue of Decibel magazine. Order a copy and get an exclusive limited edition The Silver flexi disc.

"After years of incredible support from Decibel Magazine, we are honored to make it to the cover of Decibel", the band says. "Eternal thanks to Albert Mudrian for always believing in our music, Mike Wohlberg for all of his artistic contributions to the band, and Scott Kinkade for capturing us masterfully, and everyone out there who has supported us."

'Ontological Mysterium' is a labyrinth. The deeper in you go, the more this album twists and churns, luring you toward some monstrous final battle. The riffs on the title track slice like the blades of an Apache helicopter, while the battle cry that opens "Cult of Shaad'oah" will make you feel like you're about to carve up a volcano full of giant, flaming snake warriors.

"Somehow these guys can take Iron Maiden, mesh it with '90s prog-influenced death metal masters like Atheist, dispense with traditional metal song structures and create something that you've never heard before", writes
Metal Injection.

Lambgoat says "Ontological Mysterium is a pholosophical treat cloistered within some of the most ravenously delectable death metal you could subject yourself to this year, perhaps ever".

“Surprises always come up during writing — spontaneous ideas pull you into new territory and enable the realization of novel possibilities that previously were inaccessible.”

Such are the words from Horrendous drummer Jamie Knox when discussing the creation of the band’s fifth full-length, the highly anticipated 'Ontological Mysterium'. Knox’s quote also encapsulates Horrendous’s approach to extreme metal. Since 2009, the band has capably tapped into the inaccessible by providing a fresh, unconventional take on death metal that harnesses technical brilliance with elaborate, mind-melding melodies, frothy, spewing vocals and labyrinthine song structures. This combination has made each Horrendous long play a clinic in the gratifyingly unorthodox. The trend continues on Ontological Mysterium.

The follow-up to 2018’s Idol was recorded, mixed and mastered at Subterranean Watchtower Studios in Virginia, which doubles as the homestead of guitarist/vocalist Damian Herring. While the band (completed by guitarist/vocalist Matt Knox and bassist Alex Kulick) finished much of the songwriting for Ontological Mysterium in 2019, its recording was delayed by the 2020 global pandemic and various life events. Horrendous eventually finished recording in early 2022 and mastered the album before the start of 2023.

The album upholds Horrendous’s position as one of the underground’s best outside-of-the-box extreme metal bands. Having long abandoned concern whether people would appreciate their “uniqueness,” Horrendous has embraced its role as a band willing to veer far from death metal conventions, intentionally stretching and breaking norms. To wit, the band primarily views its music as filtered through a death metal lens. This may be Horrendous’s defining trait: By not accepting parameters, nothing is off-limits.

L.S. Dunes Share "Old Wounds" DEMO — WATCH + LISTEN

LOST SONGS: LINES AND SHAPES FEATURES EARLY, RAW VERSIONS OF THEIR ACCLAIMED DEBUT ALBUM PAST LIVES DUE NOVEMBER 10 VIA FANTASY

L.S. DUNES SET TO JOIN PIERCE THE VEIL ON THE 18-DATE  JAWS OF LIFE TOUR NOVEMBER 4 THROUGH DECEMBER 8

Recently, L.S. Dunes: vocalist Anthony Green, guitarist Frank Iero, bassist Tim Payne, guitarist Travis Stever, and drummer Tucker Rule announced the upcoming release of Lost Songs: Lines and Shapes, a raw and radically revealing version of their acclaimed debut album, 2022's Past Lives. It's due out on November 10.

Today, as a little taste of what's to come, the celebrated hardcore band has shared
"Old Wounds" DEMO, a stripped-back version of the fan favorite released this past summer. While not included in the Lost Songs collection, the vulnerable and illuminating "Old Wounds" DEMO is another brilliant look into the creative process that features Green's beautifully exposed vocals and the haunting, intricate guitar work of Stever.

Listen to "Old Wounds" DEMO
HERE.

The official video features behind-the-scenes footage of L.S. Dunes working at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, California, the renowned desert studio where "Old Wounds" was originally recorded. Watch the "Old Wounds" DEMO official video below.

Stever says, "The original guitar part for 'Old Wounds' was conceived in the L.S. Dunes text thread. It was an old riff that I had never used. I stumbled on it and started working on it again and sent it in the middle of the night. Tim was the only one still awake… Tim had a positive response and showed enthusiasm, so I kept sending the riff ideas to him and he would give his opinion and notes. The next morning, I ran to my studio space and recorded the guitar parts. At this point, we had numerous instrumental ideas, and it was up to Anthony what songs we would choose for the desert sessions. He sent back the most beautiful and haunting vocals and lyrics to the guitar ideas that would become 'Old Wounds.' It then became clear that that would be one of the songs we needed to record."

The upcoming new album, Lost Songs: Lines and Shapes features early, stripped-down versions of all Past Lives' 11 tracks. Listening to these songs in their hyper-intense, original form provides a new, completely fresh view into Past Lives, while the uninitiated will appreciate it for what it is, a sterling artistic statement in its own right.

Fans can also pre-order the Past Lives Deluxe Edition, a limited, 2-LP vinyl special package which includes both the original album and Lost Songs: Lines And Shapes, exclusively via the band's online store

HEILUNG Release New Live Video

HEILUNG don't play shows. They perform a ritual. Every performance begins Kai Uwe Faust leading Christopher Juul, Maria Franz and their ritual collective in an ancient prayer. Soon after, the audience is swept into rapture, swayed by incense and throat singing, primordial rhythms, subtle electronic textures, a mesmerizing light show, an army of warriors and bursts of fire; a ritual.

Today, Heilung are releasing brand new footage from their performance at London's Apollo Theatre. Watch the hypnotic video for the Nordic collective's hit song "Anoana" and get a sneak peak at their full live concert DVDs, which will come out next year.

"Every tour has a beginning and an end", says Heilung. "We've captured both moments. After the long pause from the world's stages we kicked off our Amplified History Tour with the first ritual at the sold out Red Rocks Amphitheater, Denver CO, in October 2021. In January 2023 and 45 rituals later, we performed at the Apollo in London. These two rituals are the continuation of our original first performance from 2017, named LIFA, and will be released separately as "LIFA Iotungard" and "LIFA Llyn Dain ". The two releases will witness not only how far we've grown since 2017, but also exactly how far the ritual has evolved during the 15 months of touring".

Heilung are currently touring North America. They've already performed to sold-out crowds in Greensboro, Baltimore and Clearwater. The tour was scheduled to wrap up in Denver, but Heilung have now added another show. They'll play the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California, on December 11.

Tickets are running low for the remaining dates. One dollar for each ticket sold will support a tree planting initiative.

Since its inception in 2015, the enigmatic ritual collective HEILUNG has been paving melodic paths to the past with their unique and mystifying sound. Evading all conventional genre tags and the confines of any specific labels, the group aptly self-describes their sound as “amplified history,” emphasizing their ability to connect modern society with the rudiments of humanity’s beginnings through music. HEILUNG once again journeys back in time with its new chapter, ‘Drif;’ however, unlike previous offerings that centered around prehistoric northern Europe, album number three will explore other great rudimentary civilizations outside of Europe.

“All the songs on ‘Drif’ have their own stories,” adds HEILUNG throat singer and one of the band’s three composers, Kai Uwe Faust. Each has its place and sense of belonging, with inspiration not only from Northern Europe, but from the ancient great civilizations,” explains the band. “We took the ancient surrounding advanced civilizations in account, because our ancestral Nordic civilizations did not just pop up, exist and disappear in isolation. Already in the Bronze Age, we found silk on German land that was imported already from the far, far East 3000 years ago. From the Viking age, we found beads that were brought there from present-day Syria high up in the Northern mountains.

“Centrally important concepts, still in extensive use today, like the number Zero and all the mathematical universes deriving from it, the use of iron and the general concept of settling all originate from traditional high civilizations outside the north and still fundamentally changing our ancestor’s world.

“With singing these primordial songs we want to give tribute to these cultures, reconnect to the beginnings and remember that we all, from East to West, from past to present, are connected through the exchange of ideas and inspiring each other.”
Meaning “gathering,” ‘Drif’ serves as more than merely a gateway that bridges history with modern day society, but is also a statement of the strength in unity and togetherness, which will come as no surprise to those who have experienced HEILUNG’s live ritual, in which every ceremony starts with a reminder that “we are all brothers.” “‘Drif’ means ‘gathering,’’ explains HEILUNG. “A throng of people, a horde, a crowd, a pack. In symbiosis with the album title, ‘Drif’ consists of a flock, a collection, a gathering, a collage of songs, that much like little flames were seeking towards each other, to join, to bond, to create, and be greater together.”

While HEILUNG features authentic and archaic instrumentation that ranges from rattles and ritual bells to human bones and throat singing, their captivating brand of music is far from primitive. Producer and founding member Christopher Juul implements subtle electronic elements that elevates the musical atmosphere and provides a more in-depth and layered soundscape.

“This album has very clearly dictated its own path. Our attempts to tame it were repeatedly fruitless, and once we came to this realization, the creative flow surged forward with immense force. So much so that sometimes it felt like the songs wrote themselves,” the band adds.

HEILUNG’s success has been unprecedented, achieving milestones in its few short years of existence that many do not see in a lifetime. The collective already had rapidly been growing a buzz upon the self-release of their first full-length, ‘Ofnir,’ in 2015, but their dizzying upward trajectory really took off from the moment they set foot on the stage at Castlefest in 2017 for the now-legendary debut of their live ritual. Luckily for those who were not fortunate enough to bare witness to this magical event, the full ceremony was captured on film, having since been viewed by tens of millions of fans across the globe.

As HEILUNG trekked across Europe and brought their mystifying experience to new audiences, talk of this new band and their stunning ceremony made way to Season of Mist label owner Michael Berberian, who quickly offered the band a record contract after seeing their undeniable musical impact for himself.

By 2019, HEILUNG launched their second full-length record, ‘Futha,’ which contrasted the masculine and battle-heavy themes of their debut with a feminine counterpart that celebrated fertility and female energy. Upon the first week of the record’s release, it graced the Billboard charts with coveted numbers, debuting at #3 on the Heatseekers Charts and #4 on the Billboard World Music Chart, placing on a total of seven Billboard charts while meeting critical-acclaim from the press on a global scale.

Having already made its way around Europe, HEILUNG announced its first ever North American tour for the start of 2020, which sold out entirely within 72 hours of ticket on-sale. The band later returned to the United States and performed their live ritual for a sold out audience of 10,000 people at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, CO (USA), further solidifying their early legacy status.

By this time, the band’s music started to appear in places outside the confines of music venues, videos, and vinyl. From hit television series like ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Vikings’ to video game giants like ‘Conqueror’s Blade VII: “Wolves of Ragnarök’ and ‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’ to the blockbuster Robert Eggers film ‘The Northman,’ HEILUNG’s music has risen far above the underground and has transcended into a greater world. Even a global pandemic couldn’t slow down HEILUNG’s success; it only strengthened them and gave them the gift of time to complete work on album number three, ‘Drif.’

According to Greek philosopher Pythagoras, three is a divine number, signifying harmony, wisdom, and understanding. He also believed it to be the number of time – past, present, future; birth, life, death; beginning, middle, end. Purposefully or not, ‘Drif’ embodies this philosophy, putting forth a divine work of art that ties together the beginning of civilization with the modern world today. Make no mistake, HEILUNG still does not represent any modern political or religious ideology, but rather delivers a humbling reminder of where we came from. “Remember, we are all brothers. All people, beasts, tree and stone and wind, we all descend from the one great being that was always there, before people lived and named it, before the first seed sprouted.”

PROFILER - announce debut album 'A Digital Nowhere' + release video for 'All In Forever'

Alternative metal trio PROFILER have revealed the details of their debut album, A Digital Nowhere, that will be released on February 16th through SharpTone Records. To coincide with the announcement, the band have also released a video for the album's first single 'All In Forever'.

Vocalist and guitarist Mike Evans comments "I had a lot of fun writing this track. It’s actually the first track of the debut writing process. I think it creates a great follow up from our previous EP and continues our old sound, along with hinting what the debut encapsulates. I think it’s the perfect way to kick off A Digital Nowhere. I love the groove and bouncy riffs and I hope our fans enjoy the evolution of our sound."

Watch the video for 'All In Forever' below.

On the process of crafting their debut album, Mike Evans says "I had an amazing time writing our album A Digital Nowhere. Myself and Joe collaborated on this record more than the EP. This was a great opportunity to bounce ideas off of each other. I wrote the majority of the record isolated in my flat during the Covid 19 lockdowns. Although this time was stressful and alien it was a perfect opportunity to create. I think the record is a great evolution of our sound. We are really excited to show people a more varied and mature Profiler. We love the consistent punch of the production and crisp & clear mix that gives our songwriting the credit it deserves. We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved. This album is diverse, original and authentic to us and we feel we’ve created a body of music we will be proud of our whole career."

About PROFILER

Profiler is a Nu-Metal reawakening from the mind of vocalist and guitarist Mike Evans.

This band is inspired by those who have incited change in genres, arts, and theories. It's a weight of legacy that Profiler is comfortable shouldering, backed by SharpTone Records, its home since 2020.

After starting as a solo project in Bristol, UK, Mike stepped out from the studio and onto the stage, enlisting bassist/vocalist Joe Johnson and drummer Oscar Hocking. In early 2023, Oscar departed to be replaced by Brad Ratcliffe, cementing the line-up that would forge 2024's debut album, A Digital Nowhere.

Profiler's nu-metal-grunge-alt-rock, call it what you want, is an abrasive distorted soundscape that reverently glances back to those genres' heydays. Profiler is for anyone who misses or missed the contagious nineties Seattle grunge movement or the explosion of nu-metal that dominated the 00s and the genre-bending bands they made a path for.

PROFILER is:
Mike Evans - Vocals, Guitar
Joe Johnson - Bass
Brad Ratcliffe - Drums

KELAKOS RELEASES ITS FIRST SONG IN 45 YEARS

Today the 70s band Kelakos returns – 45 years after its last studio recordings -- with the first pre-release from the forthcoming 12-song album HURTLING TOWARDS EXTINCTION.  Lead singer / lead guitarist George Kelakos Haberstroh is back with a charismatic voice long-time Kelakos fans will instantly recognize, along with edgy lyrics and tasty guitar licks burning with intensity.

The band’s remixed, remastered 70s catalogue, a 15-track CD released in 2015 as KELAKOS UNCORKED: RARE TRACKS FROM A VINTAGE 70s BAND, gained recognition and critical praise 37 years after their 1978 album GONE ARE THE DAYS.  “Best Boston Band You’ve Never Heard” (CBS Boston Classic 1007WZLX) and “One of 2015’s Top New Music Re-Issues (Phil’s Picks) were among many strong reviews; Goldmine gave the release 4 stars. This brought the band members back together to test their appetite for new recordings.  The result was an explosion of rock energy, memorable songwriting and singing, and clean, rich production handled by Linc Bloomfield.  It is as if 45 years of time never happened.  Kelakos picked right up where it left off in 1978.

Livin’ on the Planet love is a first peek at this amazing new collection of Kelakos songs.  Carl Canedy on drums, Mark Sisson on pedal steel, and Linc Bloomfield on bass, rhythm guitars, keyboards and background vocals deliver a crisp, colorful track that rocks with the classic vibe and melodic hooks the band brought to every song since they recorded the first Kelakos single in 1976.

For the artwork, the band enlisted Santiago Jaramillo of Triple Seis Design to create the unnerving design that fits with the album title. GO AHEAD AND DIE's newest record is a testament to declining mental health around the world, and a reminder that we are not alone in our pain. TOM GABRIEL WARRIOR'S 'TRIUMPH OF DEATH' ANNOUNCE DEBUT VIDEO 'MASSACRA'

DEBUT ALBUM ‘RESURRECTION OF THE FLESH’ RELEASED ON NOISE/BMG ON NOVEMBER 10th, 2023
PREORDER
HERE

Tom Gabriel Warrior : “The revivification of Hellhammer's "Massacra", almost forty years after the song's inception. The new single and first video clip to accompany Triumph Of Death's "Resurrection Of The Flesh", an immoderate on-stage celebration of Hellhammer's music.”

Triumph Of Death’s debut live release Resurrection Of The Flesh is the culmination of three concerts. Recorded in the spring of 2023 at Hell’s Heroes Festival in Houston USA, Dark Easter Metal Meeting in Munich, Germany and SWR Barroselas Metal Fest in Portugal, the album was produced by Tom Gabriel Warrior and Triptykon's V. Santura. The record captures the band at their primeval finest; raw, foreboding and heavy. These Hellhammer songs may date back four decades but here they are revealed to be still just as vital today as when they were written in theband’s infamous rehearsal bunker in the rural village of Birchwil, Switzerland in the early 1980s. From the thunderous opening chords of Third Of The Storms (Evoked Damnation) to the malevolent, morbid feedback of set closer Triumph Of Death, this album is a sixty minute document of the overwhelming power of the live performance of Triumph Of Death, and it captures the spirit and intensity of these historic songs that have transcended decades to become revered and timeless.

Resurrection Of The Flesh will be available as:
• Deluxe CD mediabook
• Double gatefold LP w/booklet and posters on black vinyl and B&W swirl (indie store exclusive)
• Super deluxe double red vinyl LP bookpack with bonus 7” single plus posters and photo card

Gunship Share Cover Of "Send Me An Angel" Lyric Video

Synthwave pioneers Gunship — Dan Haigh, Alex Westaway, and Alex Gingell — today release a special cover of Real Life's 1980s smash hit, "Send Me An Angel," an otherworldly, heavy synth-rock rendition available to stream in time for Halloween.

The defining soundtrack to legendary BMX movie RAD is back with a vengeance and in the care of Gunship and their signature synth sounds and powerful modern production. Hop on your tricked out BMX and shred the night away to this retro modern take on one of the biggest songs of the '80s.

Gunship says, "'Send Me An Angel' is a cornerstone of '80s synth pop — its driving synth bass and mesmeric lead lines remain an influence on GUNSHIP's production style to this day. However, the song's involvement in the classic BMX movie RAD truly heightened the song's resonance with us to a whole other level. Endless summer, BMX upgrades, and Helltrack… definitely 'Rad' times."

Stream Gunship's "Send Me An Angel" here.

Watch the lyric video below.

To celebrate the release of "Send Me An Angel," Gunship have launched an exciting BMX-themed competition. Fans are invited to post video clips of their best BMX tricks to their socials and use the hashtag #GUNSHIPBMX. The band will select three winners to receive some Gunship swag, and will also repost good tricks on their socials.

This isn't the first time the band have released a cover in the spirit of Halloween. In 2020, they released a modern-day "Eleanor Rigby," having found themselves continuously drawn to the iconic Beatles' lyric "Look at all the lonely people." The track reimagined the character of Eleanor alive today and experiencing the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Send Me An Angel" comes fresh off the back of the band's third studio album, UNICORN, released last month. Gunship invite their listeners to celebrate the power of imagination on the record, named after the international icon of fantasy and imagination, it's emblazoned with the tagline "Imagination Is A Weapon." The trio's trademark, synth-laden atmosphere and transportative soundscapes continue to evolve to include more rock, industrial, and EDM influences, allowing the listener to revel in an alternative reality on a 14-track electric thrill ride.

Unicorn boasts a diverse array of special guests, who each bring something different to the project. Collaborators include: John Carpenter, Gavin Rossdale (Bush), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Carpenter Brut, Tim Cappello (Lost Boys, Tina Turner, Ringo Starr), Health, Tyler Bates (John Wick, Guardians of the Galaxy etc), Lights, Power Glove, Charlie Simpson, Britta Philips (Jem), Milkie Way (Wargasm) and Stella Le Page.

Embodying the saying "it's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness," Gunship seek to curse the darkness as well as to provide illumination with their darker and more positive material respectively, while consistently evolving the synthwave genre they helped to pioneer.

With the album's release came new single "Empress of The Damned," featuring Canadian powerhouse, Lights. Opening with a spooky John Carpenter-esque horror aura, the damnation quickly resolves into a pounding synthwave and EDM-fused tour de force. Returning collaborator Tim Cappello (The Lost Boys, Tina Turner) blasts blazing saxophone lines evoking some of the best '80s classics, while on vocals, fresh from recent collaborations with Deadmau5, i_o, Felix Cartel and Illenium, Lights delivers the powerful melodic hooks she is famous for. "Empress Of The Damned" boasts cultural and video game references abound, in hypnotic and bass heavy verses which give way to soaring choruses filled with Gunship's signature '80s pop sensibility. It's a fiery take on the classic 1980s duets of yesteryear.

Elsewhere, bass-driven, industrial-rock offering "DooM Dance," is a vivid sonic experience. On the track, rock icon and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale delivers searing vocals, while synthwave powerhouse Carpenter Brut serves up some devastating electronic riffs. "DooM Dance" is inspired by the frenetic ‘dance’ gamers perform when vastly outnumbered and battling wave after wave of enemies in the now legendary video game DooM.

Gunship make a name for themselves by linking their music and video releases with popular culture, whether that be film, like the Blade Runner x The Terminator dystopia in the new era's first release, "Monster In Paradise" (Feat. Milkie Way, Dave Lombardo, Tim Cappello, Tyler Bates)  or the gaming world, as with "DooM Dance" and previous album single "Taste Like Venom," which paid homage to Sega's classic arcade game Outrun.

Milkie Way (the fiery frontwoman of Wargasm), pays homage to the indomitable Sarah Connor from The Terminator films, on "Monster In Paradise," a key highlight. Driving Sarah's classic 1983 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade and providing a Terminator style voice over, Milkie initially appears to be giving a performance true to Sarah Connor's character, although perhaps things are not quite as they seem… Are the machines recruiting humans with a mind-altering silver liquid? Watch the music video here

In an equally cyber-futuristic offering, "Ghost" (Feat. Power Glove), released later last year, asked artificial intelligence to show the world "What happens after we die?" The cyberpunk tune was accompanied by an AI-generated video. Cutting edge and psychedelic, the video was created via various emerging artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, including OpenAI's DALL-E, the open-source Stable Diffusion as well as Midjourney.

ABOUT GUNSHIP:
GUNSHIP are Dan Haigh, Alex Westaway, and Alex Gingell. The band’s sound is created with vintage analogue synthesizers and other retro electronic gear from the 1980s. Driven and inspired by nostalgia for a bygone era, Gunship harness this retro approach to birth something fresh and new. Their sound is sonically diverse — blending sweeping fluorescent synth lines with fever pitched and adrenalizing electric bass arpeggios. Dan Haigh from Gunship describes their sound as "a neon-soaked, late night, sonic getaway drive, dripping with luscious analogue synthesizers, cinematic vocals and cyberpunk values, exploding from the front cover of a dusty plastic VHS case which has lain forgotten since 1984." Gunship was formed in 2014 as a new musical venture for Westaway and Haigh, also members of post-hardcore band Fightstar with Charlie Simpson (Busted) and Omar Abidi, going on hiatus in 2010. Unicorn follows their critically acclaimed self-titled debut (Gunship, 2015), and 2018 follow-up Dark All Day.

Dead Icarus, Feat. ex-Atreyu Singer Alex Varkatzas, Share "So I Set Myself On Fire"

Dead Icarus, the new project of former Atreyu lead vocalist and Gold-selling artist Alex Varkatzas, has shared the third single, titled "So I Set Myself on Fire." Listen below.

"'So I Set Myself on Fire' is about finding inspiration in darkness," Varkatzas said. "It's about letting your inspiration consume you so fully that it changes you into something else — a driven, unstoppable force of nature."

Dead Icarus previously shared the video for the new single "
Sellout." Watch it here. The track is a hyperkinetic slab of fast-paced, face-ripping metal with layered vocals and a pit-clearing breakdown. The song shows off a different side of the artist's musical personality. It hits hard, but it's also infused with a melody that just won't quit. Dead Icarus followed with the video for "The Vultures Circle," an equally brutal banger. Watch it here.

A staple of Ozzfest in the mid-2000s with two gold albums and several gold singles, Atreyu is one of the defining bands of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal, alongside groups like Avenged Sevenfold and Lamb Of God. Metalcore classics like The Curse and A Death-Grip on Yesterday were powered by Alex's distinctive scream.

The band is officially signed to MNRK Heavy, with more music on the way.

Tigirlily Gold Kick-Starts Holiday Season w/ “Falalala Falling,” Out Now

Monument Records’ sister duo Tigirlily Gold is “Falalala Falling” into the Christmas spirit, releasing their whimsical original Christmas song today via Monument Records. Written by Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh, alongside Alex Kline and Scott Stepakoff, “Falalala Falling” captures the romanticism of the holidays spent with a loved one. Listen Below.

It’s getting kinda cold, so baby hold me close
Wrapped up in each other like we’re underneath the tree
Ain’t no kind of falling like falalala falling
        In love on Christmas Eve

"During the holiday season, there’s always a little extra magic in the air that makes you want to fall in love even more! ‘Falalala Falling’ is all about capturing that feeling of being with the one you love, snuggling up by the fire, and watching the snow fall,” share Kendra and Krista. “We grew up in North Dakota, and we are all too familiar with getting 'snowed in,' but it’s not always the worst case scenario if you’re snowed in with the one you love!"

Keeping in the holiday spirit, Tigirlily Gold’s 2021 cover of Faith Hill’s classic “Where Are You Christmas?” is featured in a 2023 Hallmark movie of the same name, which debuted last Saturday, Oct. 21 on Hallmark Channel. The movie, starring Lyndsy Fonseca, centers around her character, Addy, who wishes for a year without Christmas, and comes to regret it when that wish comes true. It will re-air every week.

Tigirlily Gold spent more than five years honing their craft on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, honing their stage presence and songwriting while delivering four-hour sets, three to four nights a week. Born from those years spent entertaining the rowdy Broadway crowds, their debut EP Blonde, released earlier this year, captures that energy while highlighting the girls’ versatile songwriting.

The sisters recently performed their top-40 hit “Shoot Tequila” off Blonde on “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.” The upbeat party anthem is reminiscent of the push and pull of a toxic relationship, nodding to the irresistible temptation of caving to the “bad influence” of a tequila-induced night. Watch the performance
HERE.

“Falalala Falling” comes as they prepare to release more new music, with their debut full-length album due in early 2024. For the latest information visit,

About Tigirlily Gold:
Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and selling out amphitheaters across their home-state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how much entertaining is in their blood.

After releasing their original song “
Somebody Does,” in 2021, the track topped the iTunes chart and Tigirlily Gold was signed to Monument Records. They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award Winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists like Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde.

Now, the powerhouse duo has embarked on a new musical chapter with their EP, Blonde – a deeply personal project that includes tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment. Their current single, “Shoot Tequila,” has already found viral success with millions of views across social media, and millions of streams across platforms. The song is climbing the country radio charts now. Ready to bring girl group energy back to country music, Tigirlily Gold is poised for a breakout year.
