Mawiza Announce 'IÑ MONGELETEW'

With their hearts and minds still soaring after sharing the stage with heavy metal legends Sepultura, Mawiza are excited to announce IÑ MONGELETEW (Those Who Give Us Life). In the spirit of “Kaiowas”, the first-ever acoustic EP from the modern day Mapuche groove metal warriors honors their ancestral roots. It includes three re-imagined songs from the band’s 2025 Pulsar-nominated album ÜL, as well as new single “Wüzapiwken” (Divided Heart), one of two new original songs.

“The music of our ancestors was just another sound of nature. Sepultura knows this. They learned from those who know their land and their ancestors. Mawiza follows that same path”, the band’s vocalist and guitarist Awka says. “We can create our music without distorted guitars and big percussion, but not without our language and our identity. That is why IÑ MONGELETEW exists”.

“Standing on stage next to Sepultura means a lot to any musician, and even more so to Mawiza. Sharing newen (energy) while performing ‘Kaiowas’ together was an unforgettable and very relevant moment, yet it also felt close and intimate, like a torch was being passed to a new generation”, drummer Txalkan says. “With IÑ MONGELETEW, we want to carry on Sepultura’s legacy by making music in the language of this land”.

By unplugging from the noise of modern metal, IÑ MONGELETEW speaks loudly to Mawiza’s roots in Mapuche culture. The band’s new EP is neither soft nor quiet. Acoustic instruments and tribal percussion don’t strip down but amplify the band’s call for decolonization and reconnecting with nature by embracing a dark, fiery atmosphere and harsh tones that challenge the Western ear. Lead single “Wüzapiwken” speaks to the heart of indigenous life, which is divided between the city and its native land, with scraping rhythms and piercing chants.

“‘Wüzapiwken’ is a song with a divided heart”, Mawiza says. “It’s a ritual that transforms into song and is deliberately unclear where one ends and the other begins. It opens with a greeting to nature, announcing what is about to be sung, and releases the feelings held within a divided heart into the space where we live”.

The video for “Wüzapiwken”was created by Andrés Hetzler (@andreshetzler)

Starting in three weeks, Mawiza are celebrating the release of IÑ MONGELETEW with a special acoustic tour of Chile.

IÑ MONGELETEW channels a different energy than Mawiza’s indigenous take on groove metal, but their acoustic EP is neither soft nor quiet. Lead single “Wüzapiwken” speaks to the heart of indigenous life, which is divided between the city and its native land, with scraping rhythms and piercing chants. The band resists postcard folklore by embracing a dark atmosphere and harsh tones that aren’t meant to please but challenge the Western ear. Mira Ceti (Heilung), Anne Olsen (Danefae) and Mapuche activist Fabi Liqen join forces with a dissonant harmony of pifilka and kultrún on the new indigenous anthem “MÜR”.

Mawiza will support IÑ MONGELETEW with an acoustic tour of Chile during November 2026.

UK Alternative Metal Act NEONFLY Unleashes New Video for "More Than A Lifetime"!

UK Alternative Metal act NEONFLY returned to Karmøygeddon Festival in Norway in May 2026, two years after their debut appearance at the festival’s second stage, and this time they were invited to play the main stage following the fantastic response to their previous performance. Bringing their full production, including fire-breathing, fire dancers and plenty of theatrical firepower, the band delivered a show that felt like the perfect opportunity to capture NEONFLY at their best in front of a Norwegian crowd that has really taken them to heart.

The new live video for "More Than a Lifetime", taken from that performance, celebrates that connection while giving a fresh lease of life to a track from their most recent album, "The Future, Tonight". Never released as a single, the song gradually grew on fans as the band began incorporating it into their live set, where its orchestral power-ballad sound provides a welcome change of pace between the heavier, more up-tempo material. Norway has embraced NEONFLY with remarkable warmth, even within the more extreme-metal-oriented environment of Karmøygeddon, and the band felt that releasing this performance was a fitting way to give something back to the fans who have made them feel so welcome.

Watch the video for "More Than a Lifetime" Below:

Guitarist Frederick Thunder comments: "Karmøygeddon has quickly become one of my favourite festivals to play, and that's down to the people behind it as much as anything else. They've built a really loyal community of fans who come back year after year, and there's a genuinely great atmosphere around the whole event. What I particularly respect is the way they look after the bands. No matter where you are on the bill, you're treated with respect, properly looked after and fairly paid. That's something you don't necessarily find even at much bigger festivals, and I think a lot of others could learn from the way Karmøygeddon does things. We've been made to feel incredibly welcome, from our first appearance on the second stage in 2024 to being invited back to the main stage this year. We're really grateful for their support, and I'm delighted we could capture a bit of that experience with this live video. Long live Karmøygeddon - we'll always be happy to come back!"

ROCK POWERHOUSE WICKED ANNOUNCES CINEMATIC NEW POWER BALLAD "TILL YOU'RE IN LOVE" OFF 'GO REBEL' ALBUM WITH EXPLOSIVE MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW

High-octane rock outfit WICKED is set to disrupt the airwaves with their latest sonic and visual triumph, "Till You're in Love," the sweeping new power ballad from their latest studio album, Go Rebel. Arriving alongside a cinematic, visually stunning music video that is out now, the track perfectly captures the chaotic friction, deep vulnerability, and ultimate resilience of modern romance.

Built on a foundation of blistering guitar riffs, a relentless rhythm section, and soaring, attitude-infused vocals, "Till You're in Love" blends massive stadium-rock energy with the emotional depth of a classic rock power ballad. It explores the threshold where cynicism fades and real stakes begin, serving as a definitive emotional centerpiece for Go Rebel—an album designed to challenge the status quo and revitalize Rock N Roll for a new generation.

Friday’s accompanying cinematic music video brings this grand narrative to life on screen. Featuring intimate footage, sharp aesthetics, and intense visual storytelling, the video mirrors the song’s driving narrative of standing together against a difficult world.

"The track is about that exact moment you stop playing cool and realize you're completely locked in," says the band. "Life isn't always easy, but when you're in love, you have something worth fighting for. 'Go Rebel' is about tearing down boundaries, and this song and video prove that love itself can be the ultimate form of rebellion."

Produced with an emphasis on massive, stadium-ready dynamics, "Till You're in Love" is already generating significant buzz among independent rock journalism circles. It follows the band's blueprint of delivering infectious melodies wrapped in a heavy, uncompromising rock-and-roll attitude.

"Till You're in Love" is available across all major digital streaming networks, with the official music video premiering Friday morning on YouTube. The full-length album, Go Rebel, available now, supported by a series of high-energy live performance showcases to be announced in the US after the band's return from UK/Ireland tour with Kings Of Thrash.

JOAN AS POLICE WOMAN shares "We Don’t Own It" ahead of Real Life 20th Anniversary Tour, now with NZ / Australia dates

Arriving just one week before launching her Real Life 20th Anniversary Tour, iconic NYC singer-songwriter Joan As Police Woman presents 'We Don’t Own It'from her new album 'Real Life Evolution', a superb reimagining of her 2006 debut 'Real Life' album with a new cast of collaborators, released via UK label Reveal Records.

She also shares the final live performance video for that song from her Real Life Anniversary Sessions video series, while announcing a new set of confirmed live dates for her tour, bringing her show to New Zealand and Australian audiences.

Joan Wasser, known as Joan As Police Woman since 2004, is a critically acclaimed musician and producer, and a sought-after collaborator, dubbed “the coolest woman in pop” (The Times) and “one of the 21st century’s best musicians” (The Economist). As a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, her music defies easy categorization, crafting her own sound that blends various genres.

With two very different versions of this epic song, Joan's masterclass in self-reinvention proves that great songwriting isn't a static artifact locked in time, but a living, elastic template capable of transformation.

The album version, recorded by Danny Blume (Iggy Pop, Nick Lowe, Gavin Friday, Jewel, Lisa Loeb) at Hidden Quarry Studios in Bearsville, NY, finds Joan on vocals and synths, joined by Thomas Bartlett on bass and Parker Kindred on drums. A supple, forward-thinking groove, brimming with Grace Jones-esque swagger, reggae-touched rhythms, and subtle electronic touchpoints, the track breathes fresh, organic space into her signature sound.

In contrast, the soulful stripped-down Sessions performance video sees Joan in live trio format as she plays electric guitar, accompanied by Jeremy Gustin on drums and Will Graefe on acoustic guitar, each of them beautifully harmonizing vocals. Filmed at The Owl Music Parlor in Brooklyn by Ehud Lazin, the sound was recorded by Adam Sachs.

"I wrote this song after Elliott Smith died. Watching the frenzy around the details of his death, I recognized something I had learned years earlier when I lost my friend, my fiancé, my collaborator — Jeff Buckley. Grief makes us desperate for answers, but death doesn’t offer them. It makes even less sense to those who are deep in pain, mourning a friend, a family member, someone they admired. Death is something to sit with, not to solve," says Joan Wasser.

"Parker Kindred and I built this one around one of his vintage 80s drum machines — we’re both devoted to the Sly Stone approach of letting the drum machine drive the whole creative process. Thomas Bartlett holds it down on Rhodes bass while I let loose on keys. The song was never asking for more weight; it wanted to breathe, and this version allows it."

This new single arrives on the trail of 'Save Me', for which she teamed up with the illustrious Iggy Pop. Earlier, Joan shared intimate versions of  'Feed The Light', 'Eternal Flame', 'Flushed Chest', 'The Ride', 'Anyone', the title track 'Real Life', 'I Defy', and the invigorating 'Christobel'.

"Some transformations are subtle. Others are seismic. All of them were made with an entirely new cast of collaborators. Among them are two extraordinary vocalists. The inimitable Iggy Pop — whose band I’ve had the privilege of touring with, playing keys and singing — recorded a stunning version of 'Save Me' while we were on the road in New Zealand. We had to work around the birds outside, who apparently had strong opinions about the session. Then there’s Krystle Warren, a true original and one of my favorite singers alive. Her voice is so deeply soulful that 'I Defy' feels like it thoroughly enjoyed easily slipping into its brand new groove," says Joan Wasser.

Music has a way of taking on a life of its own, evolving and revealing new meaning as the years pass. Through countless performances, the new renditions on this extraordinary album are brought to life by the brilliance of the players who helped define their sound. This remarkable opportunity to hear Joan return to the music that helped define her artistic journey brings new perspective, texture, and energy to songs that have already stood the test of time.

Joan shares, "Will Graefe brings his emotionally masterful guitar work and Jeremy Gustin his remarkable rhythmic sensibility to several tracks. Parker Kindred’s inventive drum creations were the spark behind others. Thomas Bartlett unlocked a new dimension of the title track — honoring its original feeling while casting it in a warmer, amber light — and added Rhodes bass throughout. This album gave me the chance to reunite, decades on, with upright bassist Tony Scherr, guitarist Oren Bloedow, and funk bassist Danny Blume — musicians whose artistry has only deepened with time."

Joan As Police Woman has released ten albums of original material, two cover albums, and an anthology. She has recorded and performed with hundreds of artists, including Afrobeat legend Tony Allen, Lou Reed, Anohni & The Johnsons, Meshell Ndegeocello, Rufus Wainwright, John Cale, David Byrne, Dave Okumu, Chris Dowd, Lau, Scissor Sisters, Sparklehorse, Beck, Laurie Anderson, Lloyd Cole, Afel Bocoum, Dave Gahan, Tanya Donelly, Damon Albarn and Gorillaz.

Released 20 years to the day from her debut album, 'Real Life Evolution' is out everywhere digitally and on CD and Limited Edition exclusive red marble vinylon Bandcamp.  Tickets for Joan's 'Real Life 20th Anniversary Tour' can be ordered at www.joanaspolicewoman.com/tour.

Deep Purple Release "Splat!" as Post-Release Single + Video — WATCH // Grand Finale of Album of Same Name

Deep Purple's new single "Splat!" is out now on all streaming and download platforms. The official music video premiered yesterday on the earMUSIC YouTube channel. Watch it below.

"Splat!" is the title track and grand finale of the band’s current studio album SPLAT! – and brings its central idea full circle. At the heart of SPLAT! is a concept conceived by singer Ian Gillan: Rather than treating the end as destruction, the album imagines it as transformation — a metamorphosis beyond physical existence.

Splat! follows "Arrogant Boy," "Diablob," and "Guilt Trippin,'" the three singles that preceded the release of SPLAT! on July 3. Recorded with producer Bob Ezrin, Deep Purple's 24th studio album follows the band's previous four studio albums, all of which reached Number 1 in multiple countries.

Collectors can look forward to a special physical release. SPLAT! is now available for pre-order on limited CD Digisleeve (strictly limited to 3,000 copies) and limited 12-inch crystal clear vinyl (180g, 45 rpm, strictly limited to 2,500 copies), featuring two previously unreleased live recordings captured at Montreux Jazz Festival on July 13: "Scriblin' Gib'rish" from SPLAT! and "Guinnesis," the bonus track available only in the SPLAT! box set.

Deep Purple are currently on the European arena leg of the SPLAT! World Tour, which comprises 86 shows across 28 countries on three continents. After dates across Europe the tour concludes in South America in December.

Tickets are available via Deep Purple’s official website HERE.

Manchester's CAULBEARERS release debut album 'Come Back Home' October 30th, sharing urgent 'Brothers At The Wheel' video

Manchester-based outfit Caulbearers announces the release of their debut album 'Come Back Home' on October 30th, their latest collaboration featuring ethereal folk artist Ruth Blake. The band's first major release since their 2011 EP 'More Lie Deep', there are ten tracks on offer, sounding a rallying call for unity at the grassroots level and resistance to the forces intent on dividing us.

Apart from the band members themselves, this release involves several high-profile professionals, including Seadna McPhail (Badly Drawn Boy, Jah Wobble, Everything Everything, I Am Kloot, Happy Mondays), who handled the mixing. Recorded by Mahoney and Chris Hamilton at Toast Recordings and Seadna McPhail at Airtight Studio, this album was mastered by Jim Spencer (New Order, Johnny Marr, Charlatans, Factory Floor) at Eve Mastering.

A collective formed in 2007 and led by Damien Mahoney, Caulbearers are known for blending diverse musical styles, including soul, funk, hip-hop, indie pop, dub, nu jazz and folk influences. With contributors hailing from around the UK and Europe, their DIY ethic has coursed through every element of their releases, from design, production, videos and gigs to the recording process itself.

The lead track ‘Brothers At The Wheel’ traces a journey of political awakening - from a naive plea for those in power to change course before disaster hits, to disillusionment at hollow words and empty promises that leave the status quo.

The accompanying video presents an uncompromising challenge to the power structures governing modern life, while ultimately offering solidarity and collective action as an alternative to despair. Exploring "the wheel" as a machine built to continually turn for profit and power regardless of the cost to people, communities and the planet, visual artist Latent Variables blends animation, photography and video to reflectthe different stages and emotions of this epic song.

An important motif in the video is the breaking apart of everything we know; people, environments, plants and buildings shatter, with the notion that we have to consciously bring these pieces back together to heal and to create something new.

Collaborating with Manchester MC, poet and reggae artist J Chambers, Damien Mahoney filmed original footage around his neighbourhood to epitomise the song’s major themes. Locations with abandoned and boarded up buildings contrast with colourful murals by local artists.

“I see the two murals featured in the video almost every day as they are really close to my house. They bring a much-needed display of beauty, nature and hope in what is a very urban environment. I live in a very multi-cultural area and I feel that both the song and the video express the notion that a shared struggle exists for many people, which echoes in other streets, other words, other languages,” says Damien Mahoney.

With an unrelenting groove, strings, bass, and keys are locked into a single insistent pattern.. Past the tempo shift, the song opens into a second movement: a soaring, wordless lament by Ruth Blake — a beautiful and mournful, yet defiant, celebration of the human spirit. Underneath, the arrangement builds in waves — guitars layering, cello and violin rising, keys, bass and drums gathering weight — swelling to a crescendo before dissolving.

'Brothers At The Wheel' is available everywhere digitally, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp, capturing the awakening in full — appeal, disillusionment, and the turn toward unity. Caulbearers' 'Come Back Home' album is out October 30th via Single Cell Recordings.

Dragony Drop New Song "I Have the Power" — LISTEN + WATCH

For almost 20 years, DRAGONY have been a part of the international power metal scene, and can look back on five studio albums, one EP, and many tours all over the globe, as both a headlining and support act for bands like Ensiferum, Gamma Ray, Serenity, Freedom Call, Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica, and many more.

2024 saw the release of the most recent album Hic Svnt Dracaenas and the band is currently working heavily on a successor album following intensive touring activities, like the 2025 Japan tour as special guest for Twilight Force and an extensive European tour as support for Ensiferum in early 2026. Dragony wanted to shorten the wait for the fans for the new album by releasing some new music.

As singer and band founder Siegfried Samer is a known fan of the Masters of the Universe cartoons of the 1980s (after all, the band's third album even carries the title Masters of the Multiverse as an homage), and since this year finally saw the release of Travis Knight's excellent Masters of the Universe movie adaptation, the band decided to once again pay tribute to this beloved franchise by recording a cover version of the title song to the 1985 He-Man and She-Ra crossover film The Secret of the Sword.

The band wishes all fans a lot of fun with the new song, and will return shortly with more details surrounding the upcoming new album, the first to fully feature new additional singer Maria Nesh alongside frontman Samer.

Stay glorious — you have the power!

BAD WOLVES RELEASE NEW VERSION OF "JOLENE" FEATURING DOLLY PARTON

Bad Wolves have released "Jolene” (with Dolly Parton) through Better Noise Music [Stream HERE]. The new recording pairs the band's hard-rock take on Parton's 1974 iconic hit, this time with her own vocals included. This new version was made with the support and approval of the Estate of Dolly Parton. Like the original cover version released on August 31, proceeds will be donated to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library — committed to improving early childhood literacy around the world.

Before her passing, Bad Wolves shared their cover of “Jolene” with Dolly and her team. Since the release of the original cover, Dolly's team helped bring her voice to the track, supplying previously recorded stems mixed for this release by Kent Wells.

Earlier this month, Bad Wolves and Better Noise Music joined Dolly's team at NOZ Studios to hear the finished track together for the first time. The session inspired the band to pay it forward. They invited students from Nashville’s School of Rock to appear alongside them in the official music video. [Watch BELOW].

"Bad Wolves and the kids from The School Of Rock performed 'Jolene' with raw passion, heavy grit, and zero compromise. This is the same independent spirit Dolly Parton used to build The Imagination Library from the ground up. Having witnessed the challenges her own father faced with illiteracy, Dolly didn't wait for someone else to fix the problem, she used her platform to make a difference. She found a way to start sending free books to children to promote literacy and a love of reading because it was important to her. Right now, Dolly’s foundation, The School Of Rock, and Bad Wolves are calling on every artist to honor Dolly's legacy by using their platform to support this effort and make a difference in children’s lives. Leverage your independent strength to help give the next generation the future they deserve," says Better Noise Music chairman Allen Kovac.

"Being able to raise money for Dolly's charity is an honor, and being able to work with the kids from the Nashville School of Rock was an amazing experience," states Bad Wolves' John Boecklin.

“At School of Rock, our mission is to enrich lives through performance-based music education while building a passionate community of students and instructors. Dolly Parton has long been a favorite artist within our school—not only because of her extraordinary musical legacy, but also because of the joy she has brought to generations of fans and her enduring commitment to education. Supporting the Imagination Library through this project is a meaningful way to celebrate Dolly, give back to a cause she champions, and express our deep admiration for her legacy. Our students were thrilled to be part of creating this video, and their energy, enthusiasm, and genuine desire to support the cause made the experience especially rewarding. Dolly Parton will always be a ROCKSTAR at the Nashville School of Rock, and we are proud to honor her legacy through the power of music and the next generation of performers," enthuses Angie McCreight, Owner of Nashville School Of Rock

“Jolene with Dolly Parton” is available today on all major streaming and download platforms. Every stream and every download puts more books in the hands of more kids. The official music video is also available now on music video platforms.

ABOUT DOLLY PARTON'S IMAGINATION LIBRARY
Launched in 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is the world's leading early childhood book-gifting program and the flagship initiative of The Dollywood Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since its founding, the program has gifted more than 300 million free books to children across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Republic of Ireland. Each month, the Imagination Library mails over 3 million high-quality, age-appropriate books directly to children’s homes. Every enrolled child receives one book per month from birth to age five, at no cost to families.

Inspired by her father's inability to read and write, Dolly created the Imagination Library in her hometown of Sevier County, Tennessee, to inspire a love of reading from the earliest years. In true Dolly fashion, she soon shared that dream with other communities that wanted to give their children the same opportunity to Dream More, Learn More, Care More, and Be More.

The program is made possible through the continued support of Dolly's Estate and The Dollywood Foundation, which invest in the partnerships, resources and systems that empower thousands of Local Program Partners. These local partners build awareness and provide the funding needed to cover the wholesale cost of the books and mailing for children in their communities. Together, this unique partnership helps place books into the homes—and hearts—of millions of children around the world.

Symphonic Black Metal Act VESSELES Release "Until They Are Dust (Reclaimed)" With Music Video Ahead Of The New Album, Home (Reclaimed)

"Until They Are Dust (Reclaimed)" is the new single release from the symphonic black metal project, VESSELES. Arriving alongside a music video, the track lands ahead of the forthcoming full length, Home (Reclaimed), scheduled to arrive on March 26, 2027.

"Until They Are Dust (Reclaimed)" now contains the haunting vocal performance of VESSELES' founder Valira. The song is about the growth of one's self confidence, and the empowerment this brings, explored through the narrative of Valira’s demonic origins. In "Until They Are Dust (Reclaimed)," further worldbuilding reveals the origins of 'The Beneath.' The plain is described as “a horrific cursed sludge” that consumes all humans to then birth a new generation of demons.

VESSELES is an artistic outlet allowing Valira the space to express and explore who they are. Home (Reclaimed) confronts the discomfort and complexity of what 'home' is to someone who is not from this world. Now recorded with their own vocals, Home (Reclaimed) captures fully Valira's origins and purpose. In addition to the vocal performance, the album is filled with piano driven leads, grandiose symphonic compositions, dissonant passages and pained progressions encapsulating their experience.

Home (Reclaimed) was produced, mixed and mastered by Nick Loiacono at Fang Studios, San Mateo, CA. The album performance was by Valira Nyvran (vocals, guitars, composition, orchestrations, lyrics), Ron Graves (bass) and Nikolas Brön (drums). Special guests include Antonio Giardina (session piano) and The Vicken Studios Orchestra (choir chants on “Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)”). Album cover artwork is by Mark Erskine.

About VESSELES:

Founded in 2023, VESSELES is the sonic vessel through which Valira speaks the language of their origins. As composer, orchestrator, and architect, they craft bleak, incantatory soundscapes that fuse serrated guitars with haunted symphonic textures. Their voice, at once seething and spectral, now rises with increasing clarity, layered across both backing and lead roles in studio and on stage. This is not performance. It is possession. Through sound, they cast off the human shell and step fully into their true form: demon, exile, survivor.

VESSELES unveiled the debut EP I Am A Demon in 2024, a liturgy of identity dysphoria, rage, and revelation. The debut full length offering Home emerged from the shadows at the turn of 2026, a devastating and majestic sophomore release that delves deep into identity, belonging, and the mythos of a demon cast into the human world.

Devised as a personal vessel for Valira, a demon entity discovering their truth through music, VESSELES fuses symphonic black metal with cinematic grandeur and emotional weight. This project is not just about sound; it's about survival, transformation, and reclaiming power in a world that was never built for them.

Denitia Releases "Can't Leave You Alone" Ahead of 'Texas Angel' (2/5)

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Denitia shares her new track, “Can’t Leave You Alone,” offering another taste of her upcoming fourth studio album, Texas Angel, arriving Feb. 5, 2027. Marking her first release in partnership with Thirty Tigers for distribution, the album finds Denitia exploring love, belonging, family and the search for peace through a deeply personal collection of songs.

PRE-SAVE TEXAS ANGEL HERE AND LISTEN TO “Can’t Leave You Alone” BELOW.

Produced by Brad Allen Williams (Brittany Howard, Brandy), Texas Angel finds the country music songstress looking inward, reflecting on the pursuit of happiness and the desire to find a place and a feeling that can truly be called home.

“When I was writing this song, I wanted to pull from a time in my life where I was drawn to situations that weren’t so good for me,” shares Denitia. “So much of the material on this album has this undertone of having learned my lesson and I wanted to reach back to a time where I knew better, but I still wanted to do bad. It felt right to have it all set against this dreamy sonic backdrop – a place you can’t resist getting pulled into.”

Written by Denitia and producer Brad Allen Williams on a hot summer’s day in north Mississippi, “Can’t Leave You Alone,” explores the complicated pull of a relationship that proves difficult to leave behind, capturing the tension between wanting to let go and finding herself unable to do so.

Across Texas Angel, Denitia walks through the highs and lows of love, success and self-discovery while looking beyond herself for wisdom from the generations who came before her. This latest track follows the release of the album’s title track which left Cowboys & Indians asking, “what kind of sad-ass stray would wear out the wings of this bad ass Texas angel?”

With Texas Angel, Denitia enters a new chapter, bringing hard-earned perspective to a collection that explores the complexities of love, identity, resilience and finding where you belong. The forthcoming album continues her evolution as an artist while placing emotional honesty and deeply personal storytelling at its center.

Denitia’s musical identity is rooted in the greater Houston area, where relatives who worked in the region’s industrial plants and oil refineries also introduced her to the country music legends they loved. Artists including Dolly Parton, George Strait and Loretta Lynn helped inspire her own creative path, instilling an appreciation for musicians who combine artistry with determination.

The idea of honoring her forebears while telling her own story began taking shape during a songwriting session following her first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in 2024.

“Getting invited to play the Opry was momentous for me because my grandmother, my great-grandmother, they all listened to WSM and now there was somebody in our family who was on that stage,” shares Denitia. “It was this mixture of feeling like, ‘Wow, I just want to be a part of the fabric and the lineage of country music’ and realizing my positioning in my family. And then also just the idea of standing in one's own power.”

A 14-track country collection, Texas Angel is suffused with warm acoustic instrumentation, wistful steel guitars and Denitia’s inviting vocals, moving between tender vulnerability and fiery flintiness as she reflects on the past, embraces the present and explores the freedom of an unwritten future.

With “Can’t Leave You Alone,” Denitia offers another window into Texas Angel, a project that connects the traditions that shaped her with her own evolving perspective on love, family and belonging.

Her forthcoming album Texas Angel, produced by Brad Allen Williams (Brittany Howard, Brandy), finds Denitia digging into her musical and familial roots to produce an album of classic country with a contemporary edge.

MARY KUTTER THROWS LOVE INTO THE RING WITH HARD-HITTING NEW TRACK “DAMN I LOVE YOU” – OUT NOW

Love hurts, but Mary Kutter isn't interested in nursing the bruise. With “Damn I Love You,” out today via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, Kutter turns reckless devotion into a full-contact sport, delivering a hard-charging confession about loving someone past the point of reason. Written by Kutter, Brian Alexander, Tom Pino and Paul Wrock, and produced by Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy, the track hints at what’s next from the Kentucky-raised singer-songwriter. Listen HERE and watch the official music video BELOW.

Built on roaring guitars and Kutter's commanding vocal, “Damn I Love You” pushes country storytelling straight into rock territory. Its lyrics measure devotion in broken bones and bad decisions, capturing the kind of all-consuming love that makes self-preservation feel beside the point. The harder it hits, the deeper Kutter digs in.

The song nearly sounded very different. Kutter originally wrote “Damn I Love You” as a slow 6/8 ballad before scrapping everything but the title. The problem wasn't the song. It was that something this irrational had no business behaving itself.

“It started out real sad and real pretty, but that just wasn't what the feeling sounded like to me,” says Kutter. “Loving somebody that hard, especially when you know they might not do the same for you, isn't always pretty. It can feel like a bar fight in your chest. Once I realized that, I knew we needed to crank it up.”

Following the darkly cinematic “Bed of Roses,” “Damn I Love You” reveals another side of the world Kutter is building, where country storytelling collides with rock-leaning intensity and emotions rarely arrive clean or uncomplicated. Together, the songs begin to leave breadcrumbs toward a forthcoming full-length project for Kutter.

For Kutter, those contradictions are often where the story gets interesting. Raised in the backwoods of Kentucky, she has built her songwriting around characters and experiences that live somewhere between right and wrong, strength and vulnerability, love and self-preservation. “Damn I Love You” doesn't try to resolve any of it. It finds the thrill in losing all good sense.

About Mary Kutter:

Kentucky raised and Nashville based, Mary Kutter writes songs that live in the gray area, blurring genre lines and creative narratives. Drawing from country storytelling and rock-leaning intensity, her music favors sharp images over easy answers. As both a songwriter and recording artist, Kutter gravitates toward characters on the edge, flawed, resilient and unapologetically human. Before stepping fully into her own voice as an artist, she built a reputation as a songwriter willing to go where others would not, with her work appearing on major-label releases and charting records by Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith and Zach John King. Praised by The Tennessean as a “natural-born storyteller” who isn't afraid of the big topics, Kutter has also earned early attention from PEOPLE, MusicRow and Country Swag for her distinctive voice, sharp songwriting and fearless approach to storytelling. In 2026, Kutter signed with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and introduced this next chapter with the darkly cinematic “Bed of Roses,” a sharp-edged murder ballad steeped in classic country storytelling and Southern noir. Now, she turns up the volume with the hard-hitting “Damn I Love You,” with more still to come.

OUTLIER Bring Jennifer’s Body Cult Classic “Through The Trees” Back to Life In Time for Halloween

Just in time for Halloween, OUTLIER are bringing new life to a song deeply connected to one of horror’s most beloved cult films, releasing “Through The Trees” via Oxide Records. The band’s cinematic reimagining of the song, famously featured in Jennifer’s Body, gives fans a modern, heavier version of the track while preserving what made the original so memorable.

Currently on tour with Dark Divine and Fire From The Gods, OUTLIER have taken the fan-favorite song and transformed it into something that feels tailor-made for Halloween.

For Joey Arena, the release is a passion project born from years of being a fan of both the song and the film.

“Being a fan of ‘Jennifer’s Body’ since it came out, ‘Through the Trees’ has always been one of those songs that you found yourself singing along with. I’ve been wanting to cover it for years years, and I finally decided it was time. I especially loved knowing the original isn’t available on any of the major streaming platforms so I want to capitalize. I wanted to give fans of the movie aversion they could actually stream and keep coming back to.The song already had great bones, so I didn’t want to change what made it special. I just wanted to put my own spin on it, make it bigger, more cinematic and give the production the epic feel I always imagined it could have. More than anything, this was just me being a fan and having fun bringing a song I’ve always loved more life.”

With Halloween approaching and OUTLIER currently bringing their music to stages across the country alongside Dark Divine and Fire From The Gods, “Through The Trees” arrives as the perfect soundtrack for fans of heavy music, horror movies and cult-classic nostalgia.

The name OUTLIER came years before Joey Arena realized he'd been describing himself all along.

As the founder, songwriter, and architect behind OUTLIER, Arena has built one of independent music's most respected careers. His work has earned millions of streams, regular support from SiriusXM Octane, Billboard and Top 40 success, and recognition from Alternative Press, Revolver, ABC News, and Metal Injection. His songwriting has led to collaborations with Chris Motionless of Motionless In White, JD of Ice Nine Kills, Danny Leal of Upon a Burning Body, Hyro the Hero, Sen Dog of Cypress Hill, and a growing list of artists across modern rock.

Growing up in Rochester, New York, music became somewhere to disappear. Before the national tours and festival stages, Arena spent late nights in a basement bedroom with his guitar amplifier barely turned up, writing while the rest of the house slept. Years on the road brought opportunity, but they also challenged Arena to decide how much of himself he was willing to compromise. By the time Top 40 success arrived, he realized he had stopped writing for himself. OUTLIER grew from that decision.

Working alongside producer Evan McKeever, Arena built the project from the ground up. The first releases arrived independently, and the band's first show was booked before a permanent lineup existed. Arena's songwriting draws from lived experience without asking listeners to relive his life, leaving room for them to find pieces of themselves in the songs. That balance between emotional weight and modern heaviness has become one of OUTLIER's defining characteristics.

OUTLIER enters its next chapter with the clearest reflection yet of the vision Arena set out to build years ago. He has never been interested in staying inside one role. His curiosity extends from songwriting and arrangements to visual concepts, music videos, and the creative direction surrounding every OUTLIER release.

When asked if he could ever imagine creating under another name, Arena doesn't hesitate. I will never find another band name. This is just who I am.

Reece Young Explores Love, Loss & Time on “I Taste Blood”

Alt-pop upstart, Reece Young, examines the quiet panic of watching someone you love grow older on his new single, "I Taste Blood", out now via Oxide Music. Written after his father's first health scare, the track touches on gratitude, guilt, and grief in a way that taught Reece Young that the people who made you are not immune to time. Fans can listen to "I Taste Blood" HERE.

With a gift of hiding the heaviest moments inside the brightest songs, Reece Young has carried that instinct from metalcore stages into alt-pop radio without losing a thing. Carrying the invisible weight of watching someone you love age, "I Taste Blood" holds the fear of loss and the gratitude of still having someone to lose in the same breath.

Stuck between wanting more time and facing the quiet reality that change is inevitable, Reece Young shares:

“I Taste Blood is a culmination of feelings that most people don’t know how to deal with. Including myself, I wrote it after my dad’s first health scare. It’s about my parents getting older. Hard stuff to process.”

In this new lane, Reece Young draws from the emotional energy of VOILA and the anthemic instincts of Twenty One Pilots, carving out a sound that makes alt-pop feel urgent again. As an artist finding his footing in a new sound, he's taking it straight to the stage where every performance leaves the room wondering how they had not heard of him sooner. Carrying him through a debut headline show in London at YungBlud's B.R.A.T. Cave, the momentum continued straight into a festival weekend slot supporting Twenty One Pilots at All Points East.

With "Nothing At All", "Lights Out", and "I Wouldn't" marking his first three releases on Oxide Music and more in store for the future, Reece Young is laying the groundwork for a new era built on sharp songwriting, restless energy, and a willingness to sit in the discomfort instead of looking away.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Reece Young news coming soon.

ABOUT REECE YOUNG

Reece Young knows how to turn trouble into triumph. Bred in New Jersey and based in Nashville, he pours out his deepest personal experiences to cement his place in the music world. From playing big stages at Bludfest and Riot Fest, touring with industry hallmarks (Underoath, Zero 9:36, Palisades, and Avoid), to rolling burritos in the back of a Nashville coffee shop. Reece is no stranger to doing whatever it takes to achieve his goals. Beginning his career in the new metal genre, Young has experienced a sonic metamorphosis. Through his dedication and commitment to following his heart, Reece’s production style has radically transformed, leading to the realization of his true artistic identity. Inspired by the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Bring Me The Horizon, Jon Bellion, and his cat, Socks: Young takes honest storytelling and turns it into an unforgettable live show, commanding the stage and captivating fans with his explosive energy. The proof is in the progress: Reece Young is just getting warmed up.

TURMION KÄTILÖT - "Resodance" Out NOW !

Finnish industrial metal pioneers TURMION KÄTILÖT proudly announce the release of their highly anticipated twelfth studio album, Resodance, out now via Nuclear Blast Records. The new record marks another milestone in the band's evolution, seamlessly blending their signature electronic-infused metal chaos with deep, conceptual artistry.

Produced by Mikko Tegelman alongside the band, Resodance masterfully captures the raw intensity and immediacy of Turmion Kätilöt's legendary live performances. At the same time, it introduces a carefully constructed conceptual framework that sets it apart from traditional releases.

As vocalist and co-founder MC Raaka Pee describes it:

"Resodance completes a circle while continuing an endless cycle, much like the Ouroboros – the eternal serpent devouring its own tail. Every song represents an hour, every note its own colour and character. Across twelve tracks unfolds a continuous dance of resonance, where every moment finds its own distinct tone."

This overarching philosophy runs deep throughout the record. Rather than simply delivering another collection of individual songs, Resodance presents a dynamic, 12-track journey where tension, melody, and heavy industrial rhythms constantly interact. The result is a sonic experience that feels both grandly cinematic and aggressively immediate.

To celebrate the global release, the band has also dropped an epic, visually stunning music video for the new focus track, ‘Näe Minut’.

Several thousand fans are set to pack the arena, ready to bring the ice-ring to a definitive boil.

To further support the new release, the band will take their legendary, high-octane live show across Europe in February 2027. The tour promises to bring the industrial dance floor to life, featuring a mix of brand-new tracks from Resodance alongside fan-favorite anthems.

Bay Area Thrashers FORBIDDEN Launch New Track "Single Point Failure" + Visualizer

Thrash metal pioneers FORBIDDEN proudly launch their new track, "Single Point Failure," taken from their upcoming self-titled album. Marking the band's first full-length release since 2010, the album is available now via BLKIIBLK. The new single arrives alongside a visualizer, available below.

On "Single Point Failure," guitarist Craig Locicero explains:

"'Single Point Failure' is a fast-paced bashing thrasher about the inevitable reality of an EMP looming over our planet. Musically, it hits more like the 'Twisted Into Form' era with the syncopated, melodic riffs intertwining while the instruments are tuned to standard E, like the first 2 albums were. Norman’s vocals soar over the top with urgency as Matt and Chris pound out with speed and precision. Jeremy and I play epic and lyrical solos that rip from the speakers the way they're intended to be.

"The subject: At some stage in our near future, the sun will deliver enough potent solar flares to fry most of the Earth's electronics in the blink of an eye. This is called an Electro Magnetic Pulse, aka EMP. What would follow an EMP would be nothing short of complete panic, chaos & likely violent uprisings throughout the world.

"No electronics for months, possibly years, would be a complete reset of society as we know it. No phones, internet, or resources controlled by technology-based operations would lead to social unrest like the world has never seen on such a scale. Not to mention the failure of all of the nuclear power plants due to no mechanisms to cool their cores.

"'Single Point Failure' feels frantic and befitting of the subject matter while being a fun and turbulent ride.”

Watch the Visualizer for "Single Point Failure"

FORBIDDEN’s legacy is one of being the youngest, hungriest, and most ambitious of the Bay Area brethren that has launched metal paradigm-shifters from Metallica to Machine Head. With a reconstituted lineup, guitarist Craig Locicero and bassist Matt Camachohave crafted an hour-plus masterpiece of thrashy predilection, emotive musical movements, and prog-scraping sonic ambitions. From the intensity of the opening track, “Single Point Failure,” to the philosophical shades of the 9-minute closer, “Flower of Life,” this is FORBIDDEN not merely stretching beyond the steely foundations of 1988’s classic ‘Forbidden Evil’ or the quantum leap of 1990’s ‘Twisted Into Form,’ but the sound of a band with a new sense of scope and purpose. Produced by Locicero, Kontos& Zach Ohren (Machine Head), ‘Forbidden’ isn’t merely a revival for the quintet, but a full-blown reinvigoration and purgative endpoint for this Bay Area metal institution.

Locicero comments on the album:

"Making 'Forbidden' felt more like an odyssey than a typical recording process. We set out to create a record that reminds people why they fell in love with thrash and heavy metal in the first place, embracing raw energy, melody, and the imperfections that give heavy music its character. Every member brought their best, and having Brann Dailor(Mastodon) join us on 'Sycophantasy' was an incredible addition. 'Forbidden' is five lifetimes of experience forged into one piece of metallic art."

About FORBIDDEN:

Formed in 1985 in Fremont, California as Forbidden Evil, FORBIDDEN quickly became one of the defining bands of the Bay Area thrash metal movement alongside the genre's biggest names. Following lineup changes that solidified the classic lineup featuring vocalist Russ Anderson, guitarists Craig Locicero and Glen Alvelais, bassist Matt Camacho and drummer Paul Bostaph, the band released their landmark 1988 debut ‘Forbidden Evil’ before shortening their name to FORBIDDEN. Acclaimed follow-up albums ‘Twisted Into Form’ (1990), ‘Distortion’ (1994), and ‘Green’ (1997) showcased the band's technical precision, melodic songwriting, and Anderson's unmistakable vocals, while extensive tours with acts including Sacred Reich, Exodus, Death Angel, Testament, and Malevolent Creation helped cement their reputation as one of thrash's most respected acts. After disbanding in 1997, FORBIDDEN reunited in 2008, released the acclaimed comeback album ‘Omega Wave’ in 2010, and toured internationally before going on hiatus once again in 2012.

FORBIDDEN returned in 2023 with founding guitarist Craig Locicero joined by longtime members Matt Camacho and Steve Smyth, alongside vocalist Norman Skinner and drummer Chris Kontos. The revitalized lineup made its live debut at Belgium's Alcatraz Metal Festival before returning home for sold-out Bay Area performances supporting Death Angel's annual Christmas shows. Focused on creating new music, the band entered a new creative era in 2025 with the release of its first new song in 15 years, "Divided By Zero," with more new material set to follow in 2026 as FORBIDDENcontinues writing the next chapter of its legendary career.

Eva Under Fire, One of 2026's Buzziest Bands, Share Video for New Song "Starshine"

Fresh off a summer and fall tour with labelmates Five Finger Death Punch and emerging as the rock-band-to-watch of 2026, acclaimed Detroit, Michigan hard rock collective EVA UNDER FIRE unleash a brand new song and music video entitled ''Starshine'' out now via Better Noise Music.

Listen to the single HERE.

Watch the video BELOW.

Booming stadium-ready drums set the tempo for the track. A hummable guitar lead wraps around the rhythm like a python, squeezing tighter until frontwoman Amanda Lyberg's alternately soulful and commanding vocals take hold. The tension increases, and she recognizes, "In the shadows, I'm a prisoner of my own head.'' The energy swings into the jet stream of a soaring refrain with a lament, ''I'm in the starshine losing time.'' It illuminates the group at their brightest.

The accompanying music video shocks the song to life on-screen, while the subject matter captures how the band sucked the marrow out of every date on the four-month trek.

Regarding the song, Lyberg said, ''When you’re up at 3am and can't sleep because something feels off… that's the 'Starshine.' Reflecting on how amazing this tour has been, I felt the song was a really great description of those post-tour blues. We wanted something that would serve as a nod to the tour, the incredible people we met and all our memories made along the way. 'Starshine' is like the superpower we discovered being on a massive tour testing ourselves on the biggest stages across the US. It's changed us. It keeps us up at night. Normal life will never feel the same, and we wouldn't have it any other way.''

To recap Eva Under Fire's unstoppable year thus far, they dropped the new album Villainous. It featured a powerhouse collaboration with In This Moment's Maria Brink. Beyond amassing millions of streams, while, in a detailed profile, RIFF Magazine marveled at how ''It didn’t take long for Eva Under Fire vocalist Amanda Lyberg to embrace her larger-than-life persona on the Detroit band’s new album, Villainous.''

As mentioned, the band criss-crossed the country supporting hard rock juggernaut Five Finger Death Punch in arenas and amphitheaters coast-to-coast.

Be on the lookout for more tour dates and news soon.

For all of EVA UNDER FIRE's new music, Amanda Lyberg drew on her career as a licensed therapist to foster open dialogue among the band members, empowering everyone to be heard during the recording. Her work in therapy started in 2018 when she graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and went on to work at a mental health clinic in Detroit, Transcendence Behavioral Health (owned by Dr. Stephanie Williams). That same year, her father passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. Her mother survived the same batch that killed her father and has been sober for the past six years. In addition to her thriving and busy music career, Amanda is currently a practicing psychotherapist specializing in trauma work, grief, loss, and addiction recovery.

Her story turned into a 2023 short film, My Rockstar, which used EVA UNDER FIRE music throughout and has won over 20 awards at several film fests including Orlando Film Fest, Wild Rivers Film Festival, Toronto WILDfilm Festival, and many others.

Lauded as one of SiriusXM's 2023 "Ones To Watch," EVA UNDER FIRE released their critically acclaimed debut album, LOVE, DRUGS & MISERY via Better Noise Music in 2022. dead7 Share "Feels Like" Single + Visualizer — WATCH

St. Louis quartet dead7 — Jason Kozik [vocals], Dexter Greer [guitar], Tim Quinn [guitar], Stephen Salyer [bass], and Zach Guinn [drums] — returned last month with the video for new single "Cannibal."

Today, the band follows with the second of this two-single drop with "Feels Like." Watch the visualizer below.

It's an anthem of self-empowerment and accountability. It opens with a starkly impactful, militaristic beat alongside spoken word-like vocals before erupting like a long-festering volcano.

"'Feels Like' goes along with the theme of navigating happiness," explains Kozak. "It's a song that defines the struggle a person may face when trying to accept who they are and how to be happy with themselves. It sometimes feels impossible when you've been in a negative headspace for so long.  When it comes to being happy, the one person that may be holding you back is yourself."

dead7 temper thick guitar-driven grooves with entrancing electronics, ethereal keys, and evocative vocals. After amassing millions of streams and building buzz independently, the band's immersive vision underscored their full-length debut LP, LOVE WHAT YOU CAN WHILE YOU GOT SOMETHING LEFT TO LOVE [SharpTone Records].

VINDICTA Sign With Napalm Records

From the rumbles of an unnerving past emerge VINDICTA to rally their disciples, and Napalm Records steps up. After successfully playing first shows all over the world, the corpse-painted nuns have signed a contract with the Austrian label juggernaut. To celebrate the new alliance, the modern melodic metal band releases its second-ever single, "IDOL(L)S." Led by hypnotic singer Lilith, the track is not only catchy, but continues their pompously lascivious imagery with its stunning video, alluring anyone to join their dark coven. This is a strife for vindication — this is VINDICTA.

VINDICTA about the signing:
''We're genuinely excited to be joining forces with Napalm Records and to have a team that believes in what we're creating. There's a lot behind VINDICTA, and we believe this alliance will provide the support to let our inner engine run at full force.''

VINDICTA about "IDOL(L)S":
''And so the curtain rises on the acts of a larger theatrical narrative unfolding in our upcoming album. The spectacle takes a sinister turn. In this lifeless puppet show, we distract you. With the illusion of meaning, we zombify the audience, and we become your false masters. It's a self-ironic reflection of society, in which it hardly matters what the masters stand for, as long as the circus keeps going. So, let’s fucking entertain you.''
