Weathers Release New Single "Teeth" and Official Lyric Video via Big Machine Rock

Alt-rock outfit Weathers has released their new track "Teeth" and the accompanying lyric video via Big Machine Rock. Prior to today, the band shared "Happy Pillz (Higher Dose)", a fresh reimagining of fan-favorite track "Happy Pills", and their latest banger, "Antidote". Speaking about the inspiration behind "Teeth", the band commented:

“'Teeth' is one of the most interesting songs we’ve ever written, not because it’s necessarily honest or deep and vulnerable, but actually because it was inspired by my celebrity crush. I wanted to deliver an idea of that kind of parasocial relationship or the thought we all have at least once when thinking about celebrities we like which is “would we be friends in real life?” However the twist being that this character in the song represents those people out there that think they have a personal relationship with someone they don’t know. Hence my favorite lyric, “you would like me, you would love me” which leans into the delusion that maybe they could be friends even though they don’t know that person at all.

We’ve all had celebrity crushes before and wondered what it would be like to meet them. I wanted to take things a step further and bring a dark ridiculous twist to the song making it feel possessive and scary. Fun fact, while writing this song we had this actors tv show playing in the room.”

Fans will soon have their chance to see Weathers hit the stage on the upcoming Moonbloom US tour alongside VOILÀ and Ella Red. The tour kicks off Tuesday, October 27, in Los Angeles, California at The Fonda and wraps on Sunday, November 15, in Denver, Colorado. Afterward, the band will bring the heat to their headlining show on Tuesday, November 17, in Salt Lake City, Utah at Urban Lounge (tickets available at the link here).

ABOUT WEATHERS

Southern California-based alternative rock band Weathers — lead singer/frontman Cameron Boyer, guitarist Cameron Olsenand bassist Brennen Bates — have been consistently creating finely crafted introspective pop songs heavily inspired by the counter-culture of the 80s and 90s since forming in 2015. The band makes music that speaks to those among us who tend to forget that, regardless of outward appearances, everyone is struggling with something and that no one is alone. Weathers’ story is a tale of growing up, of coming into one’s own, and includes themes of depression or anxiety and the often difficult maintenance of mental health.

They first grabbed listeners' attention with 2016's "Happy Pills," which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Initially, vocalist Boyer and guitarist Olsen met in 2012 while attending a battle of the bands in the Los Angeles suburb of Manhattan Beach. By 2015, they had formed Weathers, recruiting bassist Bates. Signing with RCA Records, they released their debut single, "I Don't Wanna Know," a swaggeringly moody song that drew comparisons to Walk the Moon and The Neighbourhood. Fans followed, and in March 2016 they landed a slot at SXSW. Their follow-up single, "Happy Pills,"garnered the band even more attention, becoming the most added track to rock radio in July 2016. In 2018, they issued the Kids in the Night EP, featuring the single "1983."

INDUCTION RELEASE NEW VERSION OF "GODS OF STEEL" FEATURING KAI HANSEN OF HELLOWEEN

Just a few days ahead of their upcoming tour with TUNGSTEN and KILMARA, INDUCTION are back with a very special release: The modern power metal outfit led by guitarist Tim Hansen has unleashed a video clip for the brand-new version of their epic anthem "Gods Of Steel," featuring none other than Kai Hansen (HELLOWEEN, GAMMA RAY) on guest vocals.

"Gods Of Steel" originally appeared as an exclusive track on the physical editions of INDUCTION’s latest album, LOVE KILLS!, featuring a guest appearance by Antonio Calanna (A Cold Paradise). With its massive choirs, soaring melodies and larger-than-life heavy metal spirit, the song already stood out as one of the band’s most epic compositions. For this new version, INDUCTION are bringing one of the most influential voices and personalities in German heavy and power metal into the fold.

For Tim Hansen, the collaboration carries an additional personal significance. Not only does he consider his father’s unmistakable voice a perfect fit for a song like "Gods Of Steel," the two also recently worked together on the new HANSEN album, Born with a Hammer, that was released on September 18th via earMUSIC.

Tim Hansen comments:
"‘Gods Of Steel’ is probably the most epic song we’ve ever written. It has everything we love about heavy metal: huge melodies, massive choirs, energy and that larger-than-life feeling that made us fall in love with this music in the first place.

Having Kai join us for this new version takes the song to an entirely different level. Of course, for me personally, having my dad on an INDUCTION song makes this release even more special. But beyond that personal connection, there simply couldn’t be a more fitting voice and character for a song called ‘Gods Of Steel.’

We’re incredibly excited to finally unleash this version into the world. Turn it up louder than hell. This is heavy metal in its purest form!"

"Gods Of Steel" is out now on all major streaming services at:
https://induction.rpm.link/godsofsteelPR

"Gods Of Steel" is part of INDUCTION’s third studio album, LOVE KILLS!, released on February 6, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music HERE. The record sees the band continue to expand their modern power metal sound, combining their classic heavy metal roots with progressive elements, sweeping orchestration and a cinematic production.

At the same time, LOVE KILLS! showcases INDUCTION at their most versatile. Moving between hard-hitting metal anthems, soaring melodic passages and more atmospheric moments, the record explores different facets of love, passion and their darker consequences. Alongside "Gods Of Steel," the album features tracks including "Dark Temptation," "Steel And Thunder," "Beyond Horizons" and the title track, "Love Kills." "Strangers To Love" also features a guest appearance by Clémentine Delauney of VISIONS OF ATLANTIS.

Following the path established with Born From Fire, INDUCTION have broadened their musical scope on LOVE KILLS! while adding an even more modern and cinematic dimension to their sound.
Crafted at Chameleon Studios and Boogie Park Studios in Hamburg, the new album was produced by Tim Kanoa Hansen, and was mixed and mastered by Eike Freese in collaboration with the guitarist. LOVE KILLS! marked the beginning of a new era for INDUCTION, defined by musical evolution, emotional depth, and a fearless drive to push the boundaries of modern power metal.

Now, INDUCTION will take their high-voltage shows back to the stage. Starting October 7, 2026, the band will hit the road alongside TUNGSTEN and special guests KILMARA for the "ANTHEMS OF STEEL TOUR 2026." The run will take the bands across Germany, Switzerland and Austria; make sure to catch this killer band package live at the following dates:

Symphonic Metal Band ZORNHEYM Releases New Album "Descending Into Madness" Out Now on Noble Demon!

Symphonic metal visionaries ZORNHEYM have released their brand new studio album Descending Into Madness, which is out now via Noble Demon.

Stream the album HERE

Founded in Stockholm, Sweden, as an ambitious vision by its creator, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Zorn (ex-DARK FUNERAL), with the goal of realizing his interpretation of the ultimate concept band - a complete fusion of music, narrative, and visual storytelling. Since its inception, the band has set out to redefine the traditional "metal meets symphony" approach, developing a sound that blends cinematic orchestration with a powerful heavy metal backbone and strong influences from melodic death metal, all driven by a distinct sense for epic, memorable melodies.

At the core of ZORNHEYM lies a dark and expanding narrative universe. Each album unfolds within the walls of the mental asylum Zornheim - a place shrouded in mystery, madness, and horror - where the institution itself becomes the central character. Across releases, the band explores different eras of its sinister history through layered storytelling, recurring themes, and hidden connections. This concept was introduced on their debut album Where Hatred Dwells and Darkness Reigns (2017) and further expanded on the critically acclaimed The Zornheim Sleep Experiment (2021), followed by the acoustic EP The Forgotten Inmates (2023), which completed the first chapter of the asylum’s story.

ZORNHEYM’s artistic vision extends far beyond music. Their albums are accompanied by detailed visual concepts and graphic novels, bringing the asylum and its inmates to life in another dimension, while their music videos are produced as short films that further immerse the audience in the band’s universe.

On stage, ZORNHEYM transforms into a theatrical experience led by frontman Bendler, whose commanding presence draws the audience deep into the asylum’s grip. On special occasions, actors become part of the performance, elevating the show beyond a traditional concert into a dark and immersive spectacle.

With Descending Into Madness, ZORNHEYM mark the impressive next evolution of their dark universe, pulling listeners deeper than ever into the madness of Zornheim.

The album is out NOW via Noble Demon and available for purchase at THIS LOCATION. Available in a variety of exclusive formats, including colored marbled vinyl, a limited Collector's Edition CD, a Digipak, and an A5 book.

Ferret Music's Wounded Touch Release New EP, Share “Scarlet Psalm” Video

Wounded Touch have released their brand new EP, "They Promised Eden, Vol. 2", alongside a brand new video for "Scarlet Psalm" via Ferret Music, the influential independent label known for shaping the landscape of 2000's metalcore, born of a love for punk, hardcore and metal. A scorched meditation on complicity, grief, and the violence of looking away, the track finds the band confronting the distance between witnessing suffering and taking responsibility for what comes next.

At once prayer, confession, and indictment, "Scarlet Psalm" traces the wreckage of a world conditioned to consume violence at a distance. While the lyrics give the track a ritualistic weight, the focus remains painfully human, confronting the shame of what can't be undone, the things forgiven behind a screen, and the peace that becomes intolerable once it is recognized as silence. Watch the brand new video for "Scarlet Psalm" BELOW.

Offering a closer look at "Scarlet Psalm" and speaking to how the Vol. 2 EP came together, vocalist Nick Holland of Wounded Touch shares:

"Volume 2, in contrast to its counterpart that released earlier in the year, maintains its cynical nature but with an aggressive optimism in both sound and subject. We admittedly hadn’t had the full thing mapped out or written when volume 1 dropped but the response to it had us in the studio almost immediately with a frenetic energy we hadn’t experienced since we were teens. Scarlet Psalm is the bridge between the band’s sound we started with and where we’ve arrived today, carried by lyrics about the righteousness of martyrdom. All our mistakes we’ve made in the past and up to this point, and the chance we were still given by Ferret coalesces with the song’s final redemptive line. “Let me make this right."

With both volumes now released, vocalist Nick Holland of Wounded Touch speaks to the evolution connecting the two chapters of "They Promised Eden":

"The marriage of “They Promised Eden” Volume 1 and 2 as a singular release is like looking at a single photo of a living thing mid metamorphosis. The first half is where the band took its sharp turn and swung for the fences with an angry, violent recklessness in sound and design. And the second half is a sonic reflection of that choice and of our trajectory. We’d only had a portion of a song and a half written when we signed to Ferret following Volume 1 and we didn’t know if we should continue on our path or deviate, but we ultimately chose to maintain with the confidence of our writing and as a nod to the earlier years as a band, include a re-recording of Sleep a Cicada Would Envy which seemed to still match the overall bleak, machine like tone. Though it’s a collection of ultimately two separate releases, it still feels like a singular release in concept and the pieces had always been intended to fit together that way."

Wounded Touch's arrival on Ferret Music continues the label's renewed commitment to artists operating with intent, conviction, and an appetite for pushing heavy music forward. Founded by Carl Severson, vocalist of NORA, Ferret Music has long been synonymous with legendary artists across metal, hardcore, and adjacent scenes, including Converge, Disembodied, Killswitch Engage, ZAO, and Every Time I Die, followed by Poison the Well, In Flames, The Devil Wears Prada, and more. Built from within the DIY community, the label earned trust through a hands-on, artist-first approach that prioritized long term development over short term momentum.

Now operating with that same ethos, Ferret Music returns at a time when heavy music is once again thriving at a grassroots level that is driven by community, discovery, and a renewed appetite for authenticity. With Severson back at the helm, the label is focused on cultivating a new generation of artists who push boundaries while staying rooted in the spirit that defined Ferret Music's early years.

Stay tuned for more news from Wounded Touch and Ferret Music coming soon.

Coinciding with the release of "They Promised Eden, Vol 2" and the new "Scarlet Psalm" video, Wounded Touch have launched pre-orders for the vinyl edition of "They Promised Eden", marking their first physical release via Ferret Music. Bringing both EPs together as one complete body of work, the limited one-sided 12" features all six tracks, with an etching on Side B. Available in three color variants: Orange Smoke (limited to 100 and exclusive to Ferret Music), Lemon, Light Blue & Black (limited to 150), and Light Blue, White, & Black (limited to 250, with retail availability beginning November 20). About EPICA:

EPICA’
s 25-year journey is a masterclass in conceptual depth, technical brilliance, and unyielding sonic evolution.

The world of symphonic metal thrives on grand concepts and uncompromising standards, but few bands have elevated this genre to such momentous creative heights as EPICA. Formed in the Netherlands in 2002, these perennially dynamic masters of sonic opulence swiftly grabbed the world’s attention with their 2003 debut album The Phantom Agony.Right from the start, EPICA struck a sublime balance between sweeping orchestral grandeur and progressive heavy metal grit.

Now for a quarter of a century, the Dutch luminaries have continually refined their signature sound. The core dynamic remains anchored by Simone Simons’ soaring, versatile lead vocals, with contrast from Mark Jansen’s guttural growls. Guitars from Isaac Delahayedeliver a barrage of scything, technical riffs, while keyboard maestro Coen Janssen weaves intricate, cinematic symphonic arrangements around them. Driving the music forward is the powerhouse rhythm section of drummer Ariën van Weesenbeek - known for his relentless precision - and bassist Rob van der Loo, who grounds the band's complexity with a deep, authoritative low end.

Rather than resting on their laurels, EPICA continue to push sonic boundaries, delivering grand storytelling and relentless energy. Celebrating 25 years of music, memory, and monumental sound, the band stands proudly at the peak of their craft - honouring their past while stepping boldly into the future.

DUSTIN LYNCH CALLS UP ASHLEY COOKE FOR “HOW YOU BEEN”

MULTI-PLATINUM, 10x #1 hitmaker Dustin Lynch teams up with Ashley Cooke on “How You Been,” an up-tempo country duet that turns one phone call into a rush of summer memories. Available everywhere today, listen BELOW.

Described by Lynch as a “chapter 2” to his 4X PLATINUM smash “Thinking ’Bout You,” “How You Been” finds an old connection suddenly back on the line, reopening a chapter neither side may have completely left behind. Ferris wheel first kisses, moonlit nights and a summer in Myrtle Beach come flooding back as a casual check-in starts sounding more like an invitation to pick up where they left off.

“I’m so happy to finally have a song out with Ashley. She sounds incredible on ‘How You Been,’ and from the first time I heard it, it felt like the perfect song for us to do together,” shares Lynch. “To me, it feels like chapter two of ‘Thinking ’Bout You.’ It’s that idea of reconnecting with somebody from your past and realizing those memories might still mean something to both of you. Ashley brings so much personality to her side of the song, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

“The second I heard this song, I was beyond excited Dustin asked me to be a part of it,” shares Cooke.“Not only is it an absolutely infectious melodically, but lyrically it packs a punch and has that clever double entendre I really love in a song. It’s that ‘invisible string’ story in a way that feels fun and flirty. Great song and even better duet partner, what more could you ask for?”

Matching the song’s forward momentum, “How You Been” trades studio gloss for an up-tempo, driving arrangement with the feel of a full band in the room. Lynch and Cooke play both sides of the conversation, their vocals bringing a lived-in ease to a story that hangs on a deceptively simple question: if the memories are still this vivid, how far away is the past really?

“How You Been” offers another look at Lynch’s seventh studio album, Clean Slate, arriving October 30 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Across 12 tracks, the album finds Lynch taking stock of where he’s been and where he wants to go next, exploring love from every angle – from new possibilities and hard-earned perspective to heartbreak, second chances and the connections that refuse to disappear.

GAVIN ADCOCK RELEASES 3RD ALBUM IN 3 YEARS: THE DAY I HANG IT UP

Gavin Adcock had an instinct to turn others’ doubt into motivation ever since he was a kid on a cattle farm in Watkinsville, Georgia. That drive serves as the inspiration behind his latest album, The Day I Hang It Up, available now via Thrivin Here Records/Warner Records Nashville. Listen HERE.

“As much as people might want to cut me down, as much as they want to make me an outcast or make me smaller in their head, I’m not going anywhere,” Adcock promises. “When I quit, it’s going to be because I want to—not because someone made me, or tried to run me out. That’s the whole premise of The Day I Hang it Up.”

A co-writer on all but four songs, the project also includes collaborations with Treaty Oak Revival, ERNEST, and his previously released fan favorite, “Cheap Thrills” with Hudson Westbrook.

The official music video for “Us Again” featuring Treaty Oak Revival premiered simultaneously with the album release. Directed by Jack Owens and produced by Sydney Hampton, the video builds a narrative around the push-and-pull of a toxic relationship, with the narrator assured that despite the relationship ending, “I know we’ll wind up us again.” Watch BELOW.

Adcock has steadily released new music since announcing the album, with 11 of the 26 tracks available before the official release. Offering a mix of heartbreak, love, and his signature “outlaw-country edge” (Parade), The Day I Hang It Up also adds a layer of depth to the country star’s repertoire. Songs including “Shoes” and “Rockstar Life” delve deeper into the cost of rising fame, while “Holes In The Boat” offers an honest look at trying to balance masculinity and vulnerability concerning mental health.

Adcock previewed the album to fans and industry insiders at Nashville’s Exit/In on Tuesday, Sep. 29. With a 14 song setlist, Adcock sang nine songs off the album while also playing fan favorites, “A Cigarette,” “Ain’t No Cure,” “Need To,” “Last One To Know” and “Run Your Mouth.”

Adcock invited fans to vote on which city they wanted to see host his album release shows. The overwhelming response led the singer to choose and quickly sell out two cities: Studio at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX on Oct. 5 and The Eastern in Atlanta, GA on Oct. 8.

The Day I Hang It Up is Adcock’s third album release in three years, and follows the success of his previous album, Own Worst Enemy, which arrived as the top new Country album on the Billboard Top 200 Country Chart AND the top streaming new album on the Billboard 200 All-Genre Chart week of release (Aug 15, 2025). Before that, his major-label debut album Actin’ Up Again became the highest streaming major-label Country debut from a solo male artist in 2024, with more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams the week of release, and was 2024’s top streaming major-label debut across the entire genre.

About Gavin Adcock:
Gavin Adcock, dubbed by Billboard as "one of country music’s most buzzed-about artists” is a Georgia native, born and raised in Watkinsville. Former Georgia Southern University football player, Gavin grew up working on his family’s cattle farm and dreamt of riding bulls in the PBR. He started writing songs in high school, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2021, when Adcock tore his knee playing football, that he used his healing time to record and release his first original single. Since then, Gavin has collectively amassed more than 2 BILLION global streams across singles including the fan-favorite, RIAA PLATINUM-certified, “A Cigarette,” GOLD-certified songs “Run Your Mouth,” “Deep End,” “Four Leaf Clover” and more. His album, Actin’ Up Again, was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024 and was the year’s top streaming major-label debut across the genre. Within less than a year, Adcock more than doubled his previous streaming record with over 25 MILLION first week US streams on new album Own Worst Enemy, released August 15, 2025. Own Worst Enemy debuted as the top new Country album on the Billboard 200 Country Chart (No. 4) and top streaming new album on the Billboard 200 All-Genre Chart (No. 14) week of release. In the Spring of 2026 Gavin was able to add Executive Producer to his achievements, with the release of Adcock’s brainchild, Country Never Dies, enlisting the help of nine artist peers to join him on the special, timeless, project. The MusicRow Awards’ “Discovery Artist of the Year” nominee has also won over the hearts of both Country music fans and music industry alike, leading to his New Artist of the Year nominations at both the 60th & 61st ACM Awards. Taking his music to the fans, Adcock is currently underway on The Day I Hang It Up Tour 2026, marking the fourth extensive headlining tour since 2024.

COLIN STOUGH & KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD PLUG IN FOR “BONE DRY (REVISITED)” – OUT NOW

Colin Stough plugs “Bone Dry” back in alongside blues-rock icon Kenny Wayne Shepherd with “Bone Dry (Revisited),” available everywhere today. Listen BELOW.

Originally released in July as one of Stough’s most stripped-down recordings to date, “Bone Dry” found the Mississippi native with nothing left between his gravel-worn vocal and the aftermath of a relationship that took everything out of him. Now, Stough and Shepherd revisit that heartbreak from the other side of the amplifier, giving the song an electric edge while leaving its emotional core exposed.

“Getting to work with Kenny Wayne Shepherd on ‘Bone Dry’ was honestly pretty surreal for me,” shares Stough. “I’ve been a fan of his music for a long time, so having him bring his guitar and his sound to a song that means a lot to me was something I’ll never forget. He took the song to a whole different level, and I’m really proud of what we made together.”

“Colin has been so great to work with. He knows exactly what he wants with his music. I understand just how unusual it is for someone his age to possess that kind of maturity and drive. He has exceptional musical instincts and is such a great writer, singer, guitarist, and he has a lot of depth in his musical arsenal to draw from. It’s been a lot of fun working with him and I’m excited to see what we come up with next,” shares Shepherd.

Written by Stough, Gavin Lucas and Jackson Inman, “Bone Dry” uses the image of a river run dry to capture the point after heartbreak when even the tears are gone. Cracked earth, empty skies and memories of what once flowed freely frame a breakup that leaves Stough drained rather than angry. On “Bone Dry (Revisited),” Shepherd’s unmistakable guitar enters that landscape, answering Stough’s weathered vocal and bringing new voltage to a song built around having nothing left to give.

The collaboration also brings together two artists whose musical roots meet naturally across Southern rock, country and blues. A multi-Platinum blues-rock guitarist with six GRAMMY nominations, Shepherd has notched a string of No. 1 blues albums and No. 1 mainstream rock singles across his career. Raised on the Mississippi-Alabama line, Stough grew up absorbing the sounds of artists including The Allman Brothers and has increasingly pushed his own music toward the heavier edges of his influences. With Shepherd joining him on “Bone Dry (Revisited),” the song stretches further into that blues-rock lineage without losing the raw country storytelling at its center.

About Colin Stough
Born and raised on the Mississippi-Alabama line, 21-year-old Colin Stough was brought up on Southern rock and second chances. A self-taught guitarist and gravel-voiced storyteller influenced by The Allman Brothers, Conway Twitty and Koe Wetzel, he first picked up a guitar at age eight, later trading prized possessions for a pawn shop acoustic he still plays today. After high school, he worked full-time as an HVAC tech until his mom pushed him to audition for American Idol Season 21. That leap launched a life-changing ride, including a standout third-place finish, a deal with 19 Recordings/BMG Nashville and breakout songs like “Sober,” “‘Til The Day One Does” and the hard-edged anthem “White Trash.” With a skinned-raw vocal and lyrics carved from lived experience, Stough has built a loyal following of more than 800K across social platforms. His EPs Promiseland and Lookin’ For Home offer a no-frills portrait of a young man navigating life with Southern grit, while releases including “White Trash,” “20 Bucks,” “Best For You,” “21 Year Old Man Blues,” “Trippin’” and “Bone Dry” continue to showcase both the power and vulnerability of his songwriting. His latest, “Bone Dry (Revisited),” finds Stough joining forces with blues-rock icon Kenny Wayne Shepherd for an electrified new take on his stripped-down heartbreak ballad. On the road, he has opened for acts like Chase Matthew, Drake White and Kidd G as he continues to build his audience one show at a time. A student of Skynyrd and the outlaw spirit, Stough isn't chasing trends. He's telling the underdog's truth, one song at a time.

OUT NOW: Of Virtue's "Death Of The Altar" + New Video For "Too Late"

Michigan metalcore outfit, Of Virtue, unleash their highly-anticipated new album, "Death Of The Altar", today via Arising Empire. Expanding on the emotional depth that propelled their 2023 hit record, "Omen" to over 65 million streams, the band return sharper and more deliberate than ever, leaning into their charismatic balance of melody, intensity, and unflinching honesty. Watch the brand new video for "Too Late" below, and stream the new record HERE.

Built on crushing guitar riffs, industrial electronics, atmospheric production, and the striking contrast between Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate's vocals, "Death Of The Altar", moves effortlessly between claustrophobic heaviness and enormous, soaring choruses. Across the record, Of Virtue explore what happens when devotion becomes destructive, when love turns into dependency, and when the things we give ourselves begin taking more than they give back.

That idea runs through the album in different forms. Relationships collapse under the weight of obsession, guilt and resentment, while elsewhere the band confront isolation, grief, mortality, mental turmoil and the consequences of self-destructive behavior. Religious imagery repeatedly collides with deeply human experiences of love and suffering, turning the altar into a symbol for everything we worship, sacrifice for and eventually may have to leave behind.

At its core, "Death Of The Altar" is about reaching that breaking point and finally confronting it. Songs such as "Death Of The Altar", "Enemy State", "What's It Like To Be Happy?", "Flatline", and "Devotion" approach that struggle from different angles, while the defiance of "Can't Keep Knockin' Me Down" offers another side of the record: refusing to remain trapped by the people and forces that have caused the damage.

Arriving alongside the album is "Too Late", a massive, emotionally driven metalcore track that captures Of Virtue at their most visceral. Urgent rhythms and punishing riffs collide with soaring melodies as screams and clean vocals trade places throughout one of the record's most immediate choruses. Beneath its intensity lies an unflinching confrontation with regret, selfishness, and the realization that sometimes the damage has already been done. The track's repeated acknowledgement that there may no longer be a way back perfectly reflects the wider emotional weight running throughout "Death Of The Altar".

Facing his mistakes without making excuses on "Too Late", co-vocalist and guitarist Damon Tate shares:

"When this song was being written, I was at a lower point in my life, reflecting on past mistakes, moments where I was not my best self and realizing that I had hurt people in ways that I didn't (or refused to) acknowledge. My emotional maturity was being tested like never before, and by bringing all of these issues forward, I forced myself to swallow the proverbial bitter pill and accept those circumstances. My view of intimate relationships, as well as those with platonic friends and family, was skewed. I have had a hard time communicating my feelings over the course of my life and I don't want those who love and support me to feel like I am shutting them out. I want to be able to feel comfortable asking questions and connecting on a meaningful level before their time on this Earth is up."

On what it took for the band to tear themselves down and rebuild on "Death Of The Altar", co-vocalist and guitarist Damon Tate continues:

"Words can't properly describe how this record feels for all of us! In many ways, this was the hardest record we have ever made emotionally, spiritually and mentally. There were arguments, tense moments and many long conversations peeling back the layers of who we are as a band and what we want to convey with this record. DEATH OF THE ALTAR for us collectively is an ego death experience. The things we thought were the most important were, in time, the things holding us back from the best version of ourselves. It took all of us getting into a room and challenging each other as best friends/brothers to get to where we are at and we couldn't be more proud of the record we made and the mark we hope to leave when everyone has a chance to hear it!"

On the live front, Of Virtue recently completed a summer run alongside Savage Hands and shared the stage with In This Moment in Pittsburgh, before they traveled overseas for their current European tour supporting Unprocessed. All tour details can be found HERE.

Harnessing the potent fusion of powerful melodies and emotionally charged lyrics, Of Virtue maintain a steadfast commitment to authenticity, consistently redefining the genre while staying true to their artistic essence. Beloved across 35 countries and having performed at multiple Danny Wimmer festivals, Upheaval, Full Force, Summer Breeze, and Pulp Summer Slam amongst many others, it's no surprise that they've shared stages with bands such as Slipknot, Bad Omens, Nothing More, and Three Days Grace. Beyond their musical prowess, the metal powerhouse also serve as passionate mental health advocates on and off stage. Often seen using their platform to raise awareness and openly discuss these vital issues, Of Virtue have become a source of hope and inspiration for countless fans facing similar challenges.

Carrying forward the spirit of their 2023 record, "Omen", Of Virtue continue to champion vulnerability, community, and the belief that no one is defined solely by their worst decisions. With "Death Of The Altar", the band refine and expand their sound, one marked by confrontation, growth, and the difficult process of letting go. Unafraid to sit in discomfort, Of Virtue deliver a fearless exploration of what it takes to dismantle the parts of yourself that no longer serve you, even if it means tearing down everything that once felt like home.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Of Virtue news coming very soon.

ABOUT OF VIRTUE

In the face of omnipresent change, OF VIRTUE has never wavered, forging a legacy that stands as a testament to the power of reinvention and a refusal to surrender. Since the band’s inception, their music – a punishing-yet-melodic mix of hard rock, metal, and alternative – has mirrored that ambition: unexpected and ever-shifting, always rooted in raw emotion.

That restless spirit is fully realized on “DEATH OF THE ALTAR,” their record following their 2023 record Omen. Built on jackhammer riffs, skittering industrial electronics, and ethereal production, the band’s fourth studio album surges from claustrophobic tension into a widescreen, soaring set of choruses showcasing contrasting vocal styles of Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate – equal parts soulful and caustic. The shifts land like the split second before impact, amplifying the record’s central theme: confronting the moment when devotion turns into self-destruction.

“DEATH OF THE ALTAR,” the band’s fourth album, follows a period of rapid ascent: 2023’s Omen propelled the Michigan-based act to more than 65M streams, 4M YouTube views, and tours and festival appearances alongside Slipknot, Gojira, Bad Omens, The Used, and Three Days Grace, yet their momentum has always been fueled by more than accolades. Drawing inspiration from their diverse ethnic backgrounds (Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Black, and Irish heritage), Of Virtue finds strength from these distinct perspectives, shaping their chemistry, songwriting and shared sense of purpose.

GRAVE DIGGER Release New Single + Lyric Video "The Number"

German heavy metal legends GRAVE DIGGER present “The Number”, the new single from their upcoming studio album Faces of Pain, set for release on January 15, 2027 via Reaper Entertainment. With “The Number”, GRAVE DIGGER reveal a particularly intense side of their new album. Musically, the track is built around a powerful, riff-driven mid-tempo foundation, a massive chorus and Chris Boltendahl’s unmistakably rough vocals. Its dark and menacing atmosphere provides the setting for a subject that is particularly close to the GRAVE DIGGER frontman’s heart.

Watch the official lyric video for “The Number” Below:

Chris Boltendahl comments on “The Number”:

“THE NUMBER is far more than just a song – it is a cry against forgetting and a memorial to humanity.

We look back at one of the darkest chapters in history. There was a time when people were stripped of their names, their identities and their dignity. Instead, numbers were burned into their skin. They were no longer seen as human beings, but treated like animals – trapped in an unimaginable system of systematic inhumanity.

When we look at the world today, a justified fear begins to creep in: the fear that these horrific times, in a different form, could one day return. That we might forget where hatred and the dehumanization of others can lead.

This is exactly where THE NUMBER comes in. This song is an unequivocal statement against the horrors of the past. Against what happened and what none of us ever want to experience again. But despite its serious and historical context, the song carries an even more important message: it is a symbol of hope. A sign for peace, for the inviolable dignity of every human being and for a future in which every name matters and every individual is free to be who they are.”

“The Number” offers another taste of Faces of Pain. Following the straightforward old-school approach of their 45th-anniversary album Bone Collector, GRAVE DIGGER continue down this path with a record that sees the band as energetic, uncompromising and diverse as ever.

Razor-sharp riffs, massive choruses and Chris Boltendahl’s unmistakably rough vocals form the backbone of the album. Fast-paced heavy metal bangers such as “Faces of Pain” and “Satan’s Tango” meet riff-driven mid-tempo anthems including “The Number”, “Legends Never Die” and “When The World Is Calling You”, while “Dead Sun” and “Say Hello To The Devil”reveal the band at their heaviest and darkest.

Pre-orders for the new GRAVE DIGGER album are now open. Faces of Pain will be released on January 15, 2027 via Reaper Entertainment and is available in various formats and limited editions.

Pre-order “Faces of Pain” here: https://lnk.to/FacesOfPain

More than 45 years after their formation, GRAVE DIGGER show no signs of slowing down. Faces of Pain is an album packed with energy and classic heavy metal – firmly rooted in the band’s history while looking straight ahead.

The album was produced by Chris Boltendahl at Graveyard Studios in Senden, Germany.

The cover artwork was created by Uwe Jarling.

Starting in January 2027, GRAVE DIGGER will also bring the new material to the stage. On the “Legends Never Die Tour”, fans can experience the unbroken live power of this German heavy metal institution.

THROWLIGHT Confront A Fractured American Dream On New Single “Welcome To America”

Southern California genre-defiers THROWLIGHT return with “Welcome To America,” a confrontational new single that turns the band’s collision of rap, metal, hardcore and punk toward the state of the country they call home. The single can be ordered as a limited edition cassette HERE: https://rocomtoys.com/products/welcome-to-america-cassette-single

Driven by frustration with racism, oppression, greed and the erosion of freedoms, “Welcome To America” questions whether the American Dream was ever truly attainable for the generation that inherited it. The track does not simply catalog what the band sees as broken within the country. At its core, it is also a call for change and a reflection of the belief that music should speak directly to the moment in which it is created. The band shares: “The promises that come with living as a citizen of the United States of America have been dismantled and threatened over the past few years. We’ve reached a breaking point where, if change doesn’t come soon, the very freedoms we’ve fought for will be lost. Our song highlights the corrupt systems of racism, oppression and greed that are deeply rooted in our country’s foundations. It all leaves us wondering if the American Dream was ever going to be real for our generation.

“We have hope in change, though. Music should reflect the times, and that’s exactly what our song sets out to do.”

Musically, “Welcome To America” mirrors that urgency. Driving vocals collide with metallic riffs, hardcore aggression and the raw directness of punk, creating a track that feels intentionally restless and confrontational.

Rather than offering easy answers, THROWLIGHT use “Welcome To America” to capture the anger, exhaustion and uncertainty surrounding a country whose promises increasingly feel at odds with reality. Still, the song refuses to surrender completely to cynicism. Beneath its criticism is the belief that change remains possible, and that speaking openly about what is broken is part of getting there.

About THROWLIGHT:

Hailing from South Orange County, THROWLIGHT cultivate a dynamic, genre-fusing sound from the diverse musical backgrounds of its members. Drawing from across punk, metal, rap, and hardcore, this fusion results in a unique style that combines heavy grooves, catchy leads, and rap verses designed to keep listeners' heads swinging.

Inspired by iconic acts, notably DEFTONES, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, FAITH NO MORE, ICE CUBE, THE BEASTIE BOYS, LINKIN PARK, the band's deep established bonds, having known each other since childhood, also infiltrate their stylistic sound.

THROWLIGHT emerged through Kevin Betz and Chris Ellis joining to create a metal band, with underground rapper Rocom stepping up as lead vocalist. The addition of Rocom's longtime collaborator in rap, King of Somewhere, finalized the band's distinctive sound as he introduced his synth sounds leading to a blend of hip-hop with a heavy metal soundscape. THROWLIGHT unveiled their debut album Monster independently in 2024.

Aussie Deathcore Titans TO THE GRAVE Release New Album 'LIBERATION FRONT' — Out Now via BLKIIBLK

Today, TO THE GRAVE, the world's preeminent vegan deathcore band, proudly unleash their new album, 'LIBERATION FRONT,' out now via BLKIIBLK. Celebrating the release, the band also launches their new single, "LIMB FROM LAMB," alongside a music video.

On the new single, bassist Matt Clarke comments:

“'LIMB FROM LAMB' was the song that probably changed the most in the recording process. Until it was done, I wasn’t sure it would even make the cut for the album. It really took Dane’s lyric arrangement and vocal delivery to make it shine. It's a bit of a change of pace from the previous singles, this one is slow (for us), brooding and heavy”

“For the video we leaned heavily into the horror movie imagery. Our music and visuals have always been inspired by horror and this was a chance to be really obvious with one of our favorites. It’s always made sense for us to connect this kind of inspiration to the real-life horror we address in the lyrics."

Watch the Official Music Video for "LIMB FROM LAMB" BELOW:

Since forming in 2010, TO THE GRAVE have become one of Australia's most uncompromising heavy exports, earning acclaim for crushing releases including 'Global Warning,' 'Epilogue,' 'Director's Cuts,' and 2024's 'Everyone's a Murderer.' Armed with a singular mission to confront animal cruelty and environmental destruction through some of modern metal's most punishing deathcore, the Sydney outfit have forged a reputation for pairing unrelenting heaviness with fearless activism. Their live assault has taken them around the globe alongside Lorna Shore, Thy Art Is Murder, Shadow of Intent, Carnifex, Oceano, and more, with Revolver hailing them as "one of the country's heaviest exports" and Distorted Sound calling them "one of the most intense, enthralling bands the genre can offer."

Now, the band returns with 'LIBERATION FRONT,' their fifth album and BLKIIBLK debut, a statement of pure intent. Brutal and uncompromising in both sound and message, TO THE GRAVE transform their death metal-infused assault into a vehicle for activism, raging against animal cruelty and environmental destruction while delivering their most direct and fully realized work to date. From the breakdown-laden opener "MEAT THE HUMANS,"'Liberation Front' marks a ferocious return to the band's deathcore roots. While recent releases leaned further into hardcore, the new album embraces deathcore at its most savage and relentless.

Evans comments about the album:

"'LIBERATION FRONT' was born as a concept on tour last year in Australia after we decided we wanted to make the sequel to 'Director’s Cuts.' What came out was something between that and a more pissed off brother to 'Everyone’s A Murderer.' It’s got so many things I love about the band and a bit of everything pushed to 100 with a really bleak kind of aggression that’s just reaching for your throat the entire time. Very keen to play some of these songs live and it’s an exciting chapter to add.”

Order 'LIBERATION FRONT' HERE

TO THE GRAVE is currently on "The Sawed Off Suffering Tour" with co-headlinerCrown Magnetar. For a full list of remaining dates, please see below.

Bassist Matt Clarke exclaims:

“These are the heaviest lineups we’ve ever put together, and we can’t wait for these shows across North America and at home in Aus. For North America, all these bands have a different approach, but the one thing that brings it all together is intensity! We’re stoked to be teaming up with Crown Magnetar for this run, and having Face Yourself on the package just makes it more crushing. We’re very excited that we get to play with OG Chelsea Grin members back on-stage for the first time in Ameonna, and I Declare Warhopping on for some shows is awesome! Backbiter, Tracheotomy, and Squelching will all bring their own brands of brutality to the tour. No matter what show you’re hitting, you’re in for a treat.”

Teen Sensation Kage Archer Shares "Static In My Head" Video — WATCH

Wichita-based teenage wunderkind KAGE ARCHER is back with the video for his ballistic new single "STATIC IN MY HEAD." Watch it below.

Yes, he's really 13, despite sounding like a seasoned veteran with major metal chops.

"I know everyone wants there to be some deep meaning but this one is just fun," he says. "It's fast as hell, it's heavy, but it's still super catchy."

It also follows Archer's recent single "BONDED BY BLOOD." Listen here.

Kage Archer is redefining the future of heavy music at just 13 years old. A multi-instrumentalist who mastered drums at four and self-taught guitar and bass shortly after, Kage found his true calling behind the mic. His rise began when a TikTok video of him covering Motionless in White's "Slaughterhouse" went viral, landing him on stage with the band at age 10 in front of 6,000+ fans, a performance Chris Motionless (Motionless in White Vocalist) dubbed a "Top 10 career moment." Known to collect high-profile performances like Infinity stones, Kage has demolished stages with Fit For A King, From Ashes to New, Alpha Wolf, and I Prevail. Now, with guidance from industry heavy-hitter Hiram Hernandez (Producer for Blessthefall, Saosin, Left To Suffer, etc.) and backing from The Artery Foundation, Kage Archer is stepping out of the cover scene to unleash his own original music and dominate the heavy music world.

Folk Metal Duo FORGOTTEN SHRINE Release New Single "Gods Of War," Inspired By The Music Of Skyrim

FORGOTTEN SHRINE traverse dramatic soundscapes and landscapes in the new single release, "Gods Of War." Drawing inspiration from the open-world, mythical realms of Skyrim, "Gods Of War" takes the form of a bard's song in FORGOTTEN SHRINE's characteristic dynamic style. The single is taken from the forthcoming full length Nox Aeterna, set to release independently on November 6, 2026.

Sofia Frasz comments on the origins of "Gods Of War": "I had the idea for this song way before Josh and I even started Forgotten Shrine. I first wrote the lyrics in February 2021, and was thinking about releasing an acoustic Exiled Hope EP at the time. I had wanted to make music that sounded like it could be a Skyrim-style bard’s song, but hadn’t quite found a place for it in the Exiled Hope canon yet. I finally revisited the song shortly after we started Forgotten Shrine, and recorded an updated demo in 2024. Then I sent the demo to Josh, and we embellished and reworked it together."

"Gods Of War" continues the overarching narrative of Nox Aeterna. The album's protagonists, the keepers of an ancient shrine dedicated to art, creativity, and freedom, are well on their way to finding the source of the approaching darkness. They grow weary, however, at the apathy of those they encounter on the road as the impending destruction of all creeps nearer.

Nox Aeterna was produced, mixed and mastered by Joshua Dalviken. The album artwork was created by Josh Alexander and Joshua Dalviken, with the cover art for "The Parting Glass (Reforged)" created by Josh Alexander and Tricia Alexander.

About FORGOTTEN SHRINE:
Created by Josh Alexander (Pennsylvania, USA) and Sofia Frasz (Maryland, USA), FORGOTTEN SHRINE fuses the sounds and textures of folk instruments with the power and darkness of metal. Through their genre-crossing arrangements FORGOTTEN SHRINE delve into fantasy realms creating both upbeat songs perfect for embarking on an adventure and heavier offerings for battling shadowy forces.

Alexander and Frasz combine their compositional styles, instruments and vocal textures to produce dynamic and emotive music. The upcoming full-length sees the duo each take the reins across the track list while ensuring FORGOTTEN SHRINE's core identity remains cohesive.

FORGOTTEN SHRINE is:
Josh Alexander - Guitar, Bass, Hurdy Gurdy, Irish Bouzouki, Additional Instruments, Backing Vocals, Composition.
Sofia Frasz - Lead Vocals, Guitar, Lyrics, Composition.

Void Sector Zero Announce Thrashing Debut Album Dead Space Enigma

Powered by the gravitational pull of a thousand suns, Void Sector Zero brings together three of extreme metal’s brightest burning stars in guitarist Christian Muenzner (Necrophagist, ex-Obscura, ex-Alkaloid), vocalist and bassist Alex Weber (Revocation, Malignancy, Exist), and drummer Gabe Seeber (Decrepit Birth, Abigail Williams, Carach Angren). While inspired by past greats, the star-powered band’s upcoming debut album, Dead Space Enigma, shreds a hole through the space time continuum with their modern spin on progressive thrash metal.

Today, Void Sector Zero are announcing Dead Space Enigma with a music video for the album’s stellar lead single. “Vortex Divinium” whirls at warp speed through Area 51.

“This song was inspired by Bob Lazar’s story about Element 1-15, the element that he says was used to fuel the anti-gravity propulsion system of the alien space craft that he was working on”, Muenzner says. “Musically, the song has a very proggy and neoclassical twist with traces of ‘70s prog and jazz fusion”.

Watch the music video for “Vortex Divinium” below:

Dead Space Enigma comes out December 11, 2026 on Season of Mist.

Pre-order & Pre-save

https://orcd.co/voidsectorzerodse

The stars of Void Sector Zero first crossed paths in 2022. Muenzner, Weber and Seeber hit it off while all three were playing together in Obscura during the world tour for A Valediction.

“I’ve always wanted to play tech-thrash”, Muenzner says, citing Coroner, Voivod, Toxik, Martyr, Hexenhaus and Aspid as personal favorites. “When I decided to start my own band in this style, I thought of Alex and Gabe. Not only are they both great players, but I knew from our time in Obscura that we had great chemistry both on and off stage”.

“I am extremely excited to be creating music with Christian and Alex as Void Sector Zero”, drummer Gabe Seeber says. “Playing with musicians of this caliber will push me to progress and become a better musician, and there’s no better label to represent us and this sound than Season of Mist”.

“Dead Space Enigma was a real blast to work on”, vocalist and bassist Alex Weber says. “Chris wrote a very demanding set of tunes that really pushed my bass and vocal techniques to new levels. To date, I feel like this album has the best recorded bass tone that I’ve ever gotten. It also led me to try new things with my voice that I didn’t know I could do. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

Despite the band’s lengthy incubation period, Void Sector Zero hatch something truly mind-blowing on Dead Space Enigma. Fueled by Seeber’s adroit maneuvering from behind the drum kit, “Vortex Divinium” zips through Lazar’s twisted tale from Area 51. “Become god in the blink of an eye”, Weber growls with superhuman force. Catchy melodies fall atop gravity-defying bass runs like stardust as Muenzner shoots off into a shimmering solo that’s more well-traveled than Halley’s Comet.

“Bluesy guitarists like Jimi Hendrix and Robin Trower influence my approach to soloing as much as Yngwie Malmsteen and other great metal guitarists”, Muenzner says. “Whether it’s neoclassical or classic heavy metal, I like to add contrasts to my solos by introducing new colors”.

The video for “Vortex Divinium” was filmed and directed by Jesus Hernandez.

Despite the band’s lengthy incubation period, like an experiment secreted at Area 51, Void Sector Zero hatch something truly mind-blowing on Dead Space Enigma. The album isn’t bound to one particular concept, but each song opens another portal into science fiction or cosmic horror. Lead single “Vortex Divinium” whirls at hyper speed through the warped mind of Bob Lazar. Propelled by gravity-defying bass runs, a dizzying guitar solo shreds the cosmic divide between tech-trash,‘70s prog rock and jazz fusion.

While Void Sector Zero gravitate toward tech-thrash, Dead Space Enigma is teeming with life-forms from across the metal universe. Guest vocalist Morean commands the freakishly fast march of “Cybernetic Infantry” from behind an eerily catchy vocoder. Under the influence of hard rock and trad metal, the twisted time signatures of “Extraterrestrial Disassembly” unravel into a DMT trip gone horribly wrong. “I like albums that offer an escape from reality”, Muenzer says. “Ammutseba” bangs heads in honor of the great Lovecraftian deity, but the all-consuming power of its chorus speaks to this band’s place amongst the gods of extreme metal. “A prophecy / Was once foretold”.

On Dead Space Enigma, Void Sector Zero emerge with a star-studded explosion of progressive thrash metal.

BRYMIR Cover Scooter's "How Much Is The Fish" + Video!

In the midst of their darkest album to date, Finnish melodic death metallers BRYMIR show their fun side with an unexpected cover. Reworking Scooter's Eurodance classic ''How Much Is The Fish,'' the quartet delivers an additional nod to their stance against ocean pollution, ''Herald of Aegir," from the previous album, Voices In The Sky (2022). Live performances of the song regularly see salmon plushies in the audience, just like live pre-tastes of ''How Much Is The Fish'' over the festival summer have called fans into their very own ''fish pit." BRYMIR certainly know how to hype up their album!

What We Leave Behind releases this Friday, October 2, 2026 via Napalm Records. The band is currently playing release shows in their native Finland and will tour Europe in February and March 2027 — find all dates below.

BRYMIR about "How Much Is The Fish":
''As the album on the whole is definitely the darkest we've done so far, musically and thematically, we wanted to close the album with a bonus song of something defiantly upbeat and silly… And as children of the ever-hopeful golden age of the Eurobeat, we found the perfect song in this classic. When life gives you lemons, transform the juice and keep asking the important questions—like 'How Much is the Fish'? If anybody finds the answer, please contact us immediately.''

Watch the Official Music Video for "HOW MUCH IS THE FISH" BELOW:

Helsinki-based BRYMIR make a strong case for melodic death metal with What We Leave Behind, coming October 2, 2026 via Napalm Records! In a darkening world full of existential dread, the Finnish band — singer Viktor Storm Gullichsen, guitarist Joona Björkroth, bassist Jarkko Niemi, and drummer Patrik Fält — takes a stand with their most sinister album yet. Again heavily influenced by their singer’s main job as a movie sound designer, BRYMIR create vast cinematic soundscapes around their sometimes bleak, sometimes hopeful, but always honest messages.

Strongly tied to current societal developments, BRYMIR deliver an equally raw and fantastical album. Their darkest output yet, the band’s fifth album hits especially hard—and leaves absolutely no open questions behind. As introspective as it is outspoken, What We Leave Behind is an epic plea for humanity.

BRYMIR about What We Leave Behind:
"Since our previous album, the world certainly hasn't gotten any lighter—and as art reflects life, our fifth album, What We Leave Behind, is the darkest creation we've made so far. Both musically as well as thematically… 'What We Leave Behind?' is the core question explored from many perspectives: from personal hopes, dreams, and fears to societal developments to dark sci-fi and existential despair. Join us on this dark emotional journey, at times violent, at times beautiful, and always honest in baring the soul of what is BRYMIR — no compromise, everything raw and real."

UK Alt-Metal Trio TROPIC GOLD Release New Single "sodium" + Official Music Video

Today, South East England trio TROPIC GOLD have released their brand new single, “sodium,” their second for new label partner, BLKIIBLK, following the release of “WITCH HOUSE” (feat. Harpy) in June.

The band shares:

“‘sodium’ is a story of two things being drawn together despite the destruction— two people, or one and something they can’t let go of. The element of sodium itself is in tears and sweat, what you can taste and feel in exhausting and painful situations. 'Will you take that freak in me?' is the vulnerability at the center of it — asking whether the unfiltered parts of you can be accepted. ‘sodium’ is knowing you’re falling, but craving the feeling enough to give in anyway.”

Watch the Official Music Video for "sodium" Below:

TROPIC GOLD pulls from metalcore, industrial noise, electronic production, and modern alternative culture without ever sitting comfortably in one lane. Self-produced and creatively self-driven, the South East trio have built early momentum through a mix of huge hooks, abrasive electronics, and the kind of volatility that makes their songs feel like they could completely fall apart at any second.

Support from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, and Rock Sound has helped push the band well beyond underground buzz, while tours alongside WARGASM, Resolve, Windwaker, and Normandie have quickly established them as a genuinely impressive live band rather than just another internet-heavy project.

The material following last year’s ‘SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYTHING’ EP feels sharper, heavier, and more immediate, leaning harder into contrast without losing the hooks underneath it all.

With appearances at Download Festival and a stage headline slot at 2000trees Festivalthis summer, TROPIC GOLD are starting to feel less like a promising new act and more like a band properly breaking through.

SILL CROW Revisits it's Musical Legacy with the Re-Release of Four Essential Albums

Some music deserves a second life.

SILL CROW is giving fans exactly that with the re-release of four albums from the band's catalog: Sill Crow, Live From Charleston, Live From Charleston II and New Way.

The re-releases bring the band's music back into the spotlight, offering longtime listeners an opportunity to revisit four important releases while giving new fans a chance to discover the sound, energy and evolution of SILL CROW.

From the band's self-titled SILL CROW to the raw live energy captured across Live From Charleston and Live From Charleston II, and ultimately the musical journey represented by New Way, the collection provides a look at different chapters of the band's story.

FOUR ALBUMS. ONE BAND. A NEW CHANCE TO HEAR IT ALL.

Re-releasing a catalog isn't simply about looking backward.

It's about recognizing that great music can find an entirely new audience years after it was originally released.

For existing SILL CROW fans, these albums offer a chance to return to familiar songs and memories. For listeners discovering the band for the first time, the re-releases provide an opportunity to experience the catalog as a complete body of work.

Live From Charleston and Live From Charleston II capture another side of SILL CROW, the live experience while Sill Crow and New Way showcase the band's recorded work across different points in its musical journey.

Together, the four releases tell a bigger story.

Where the band came from. Where it went. And the music that remains.

A CATALOG WORTH REDISCOVERING

In an era where music is constantly moving forward, revisiting a band's catalog can reveal something that sometimes gets lost in the endless stream of new releases:

The music doesn't have an expiration date.

SILL CROW'S four re-releases give fans an opportunity to press play, turn up the volume and rediscover the songs on their own terms.

Whether you've been with Sill Crow from the beginning or you're hearing the band for the first time, there's never been a better reason to dive into the catalog.

SILL CROW BIO:

Sounds like gravel in your veins, mud in your heart, and pain in your soul. SILL CROW has returned from the crossroads, having stared down the devil himself, to bring you their very own brand of blues based alternative rock.

Led by Chris Roberts, and formed in 2015, they've unleashed a string of releases, notably their debut album in 2020, all of which showcase their unique blend of thoughtful songwriting, craftsmanship, and unbridled rock fury.

Glasswaves Share "SCARed" — WATCH + LISTEN

Glasswaves, an up 'n' coming, Rochester, New York-based trio that seamlessly blends dark pop, alternative rock, and electronic elements with a heavy and dynamic edge, recently announced their new album while (True). It arrives October 23 via SharpTone Records. Pre-order it here.

The band — Noah Rich [vocals], Owen Miller [guitar], and Brendan Curtis [bass] — shares "SCARed."

Watch the visualizer below.

The track is at once gorgeously creepy and crushing. It will escort you down the darkest hallways of your mind and grab you by the back of the neck with its artful ferocity.

"'SCARed' captures that moment when your thoughts turn to static, and you can't tell what's real, what's memory, or what's just yourself unraveling," explains Noah about the song's inspiration point. "From the moment Owen, our producer, and I got in the room with this song, we knew it was something special."

Regarding the album as a whole, Noah states, "while(True) is our most ambitious and personal release yet. Through the story of a failing medical technology company experimenting with dream manipulation, we explore themes of trauma, addiction, perception, and the unseen forces that shape the way we think. More than anything, this album represents our growth as writers. We challenged ourselves creatively, stopped following expectations, and made the record we truly wanted to make. We can't wait for people to experience the world of while(True) and find their own meaning within it."

In an effort to seemingly better understand and treat trauma, addiction, and obsession, a med-tech company called Liminal-Neuro runs psychological tests on various subjects by administering an experimental drug labeled "Neuro Veil."

When these experiments fail, a radiant ancient female entity known as “The Veil” materializes, embodying the subject’s most intimate desires. This manipulative force brings out the worst in her victims and incites unimaginable horror.

Undeterred by ethics, Liminal-Neuro's lead doctor makes it his mission to find her…

This story could certainly serve as the plotline for an epic sci-fi horror mini-series or even some actual news headline. However, it plays out in captivating fashion on Glasswaves’ full-length debut LP, while(True). The Rochester, NY trio set the narrative's action to a soundtrack electrified by bursts of cathartic metalcore, shockwaves of ethereal hard rock, and spasms of vulnerable dark pop.

Coupled with big screen-worthy storytelling, the collective, which formed in 2023 and steadily built a following through singles, an EP, and touring, instantly strike a chord on multiple levels.

"People will see things happening and choose not to do anything, because it’s easier than taking action,” explains Miller. "Developments like A.I. data centers deplete natural resources, but nobody seems to care. 'The Veil' represents this sort of selfishness. Even though the company Liminal Neuro promises to get rid of your fears and worries and empower you to become the person you want to be, the doctors are merely using everyone just to find 'The Veil.'"

Throughout 2026, the musicians assembled while(True) alongside producer Justin Spaulding, working out of Atlanta and New York as well as via Discord. The group mined a diverse swath of inspirations, spanning The Neighbourhood, Tame Impala, The Plot In You, Sace6, and Bring Me The Horizon.

Ultimately, Glasswaves have crafted a multi-dimensional world without comparison.
