Smile Empty Soul Release Lyric Video for Single "We All Fall Down" via TLG|ZOID ​

Alt-rock veterans Smile Empty Soul have unveiled their lyric video for single, "We All Fall Down". The track is a preview of their upcoming EP, Swan Song, which is scheduled for release at the end of the year through TLG|ZOID distributed by Virgin Music Group.

"We all live unique lives, but what we have in common is that life kicks the shit out of us all in various ways. Learning how to overcome that is key to survival and the ability to thrive," says Sean Danielsen.

The song was written and produced by Sean Danielsen, engineered by Brian Scheffer, mixed and mastered by Eddie Wohl.

SMILE EMPTY SOUL is a hard rock band that originated in Los Angeles, CA in the late 1990’s and has stayed true to their brand of “no bullshit”, “real as it gets” hard rock to this day. The band signed a major label record deal in 2003 to release their self-titled debut album in May of that year. They realized huge success at alternative radio, rock radio, and the music video channels that have since fallen by the wayside or turned into reality show networks.

After 3 very successful singles/videos and a gold record from the debut release, the band ran into trouble with their record company (which was in the midst of turmoil at the top levels) and found themselves working extra hard in the trenches, and signed to indie labels or no label at all from then on.

This would become SMILE EMPTY SOUL’s destiny, as they have gone on to release many more albums and EP’s on various labels, as well as their own company “smile empty music inc”. The band released their 9th full length record Black Pilled on October 12th of 2021 completely on their own.

“Smile” has become known for its constant touring and never wavering honest sound/lyrics. They’ve never changed for anybody, and turned down many opportunities to “sell out” because it’s not who they are.

With a new album, and just as much drive as they had starting out 20 years ago, this band looks to continue to build on the legacy they’ve created as one of the hardest working, and most underrated bands in rock and roll.

The band has recently partnered with TLG|ZOID distributed by Virgin Music Groupto release new music. Denny Sanders (The Label Group) and Sean Danielsenpreviously partnered on the successful release of Consciousness. Released in 2009 the record has become second only to the band's debut release in popularity.

Southern rocker JC Miller shares 'Asphalt Confidential' single, a quest for uncharted territory

LA-based artist JC Miller kicks off November in fine style with 'Asphalt Confidential', a sonic odyssey of self-discovery, where the open road becomes a canvas for the spirit's exploration. This new single reflects the protagonist's timeless quest for meaning, fuelled by the thrill of the unknown.

A seasoned songwriter who has crafted music for renowned brands like Levi's, Coca-Cola and Nike, JC Miller now finds himself turning his focus towards his own artistic vision, creating music that resonates with his soul.

As with his previous output, 'Asphalt Confidential' is a collaborative effort involving famed producer Marty Rifkin, perhaps best known for his work with Tom Petty, Glen Campbell and Jewel, in addition to playing pedal steel guitar in Bruce Springsteen's The Sessions Band.

"Straight up, 'Asphalt Confidential' is about the freedom of the road. The unknown territory is on the map but also inside all of us. It’s a symbolic adventure and deep dive. For me, it’s a recurring theme – to break away from the mundane chains of everyday life and hit the road to seek out the unseen. It’s a lifelong hunt I have been on, traveling on the asphalt all through the Southwest, tracking old histories and new mysteries. I’m always seeking answers, staying in motion," says JC Miller.

"I love Rockabilly guitar and especially the country-fried version. This song is my homage to that rollicking, rumbling sound. What gets me about Rockabilly is its direct connection to the earliest Rock n’ Roll -- that prototypical sound of the first electric guitars ringing through the TVs and radios in the early 1950s. It’s so classic yet still fresh. I dig a lot of the music that came after, but somehow those first pioneers armed with electric guitars blazed a trail that we all still revisit."

Miller is on quite a roll in terms of producing a steady stream of impressive tracks. Earlier this month, he released 'The Back of The Beyond', a song about getting lost and about being in the middle of nowhere, following September's 'Blackberry Canes' and August's 'Tombstone Junction'. The summer also brought the singles 'Dead Horse Ranch', 'Sundown Slim','Wayward Son' and 'Before Nightfall'.

A singer-songwriter and guitarist, Miller's brand of music is unique, memorable and informed by his own experiences, blending Americana, Blues, Country and Southern Rock. He knows his craft well and understands how the instruments used can shape a song's particular energy and sound.  

JC Miller shares, "On this track, I am playing a 1957 Gretsch 6120, the quintessential Stray Cats - cowboy-axe in a color that Gretsch called Western orange. It’s also a nod to the Traveling Wilburys -- George Harrison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne --- they decided to be an all-Gretsch band in 1988! Essentially, along those same lines, I will continue plumbing the past to define the future, history honored and lessons learned".

AUSTIN MEADE Shares Title Track for New EP 'PRETTY LITTLE WAIST' via Snakefarm NOW!

Texan rocker AUSTIN MEADE brings together all his recent singles into one fresh EP, 'PRETTY LITTLE WAIST.' Released via Snakefarm , the EP arrives alongside the brand-new single of the same name.

About "PRETTY LITTLE WAIST," MEADE comments:

"The main guitar riff was a regular sound check jam for a few months straight out of Willie’s brain. I was pumped to arrange it into a full song and push the limits on how heavy we could make the track feel. Kile Odell (producer) and Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin) helped us push the envelope there. I threw in quite a few lyrics intentionally referencing back to the 'Abstract Art' record. It was intriguing to play with the ‘waste of time’ and view of a ‘pretty little waist’ all within the same song. I love to hear the wide range we have been able to cover sonically from my original records up to this point. This is the heaviest headbanger we’ve released to date."

MEADE will be announcing his Christmas tour during the second week of November. 2025 tour dates will be announced shortly as well!

Thanks to his metal and classic-rock-loving dad, MEADE got to see bands like Judas Priestand he worshipped Whitesnake. In junior high, he related to the intense emo-rock of Paramore and Fall Out Boy, and the power of songwriters like John Mayer.

Yet, with gratitude to plainspoken but deep heartland songwriters like Tom Petty, and cutting his teeth touring in the Texas and Oklahoma Red Dirt scene, MEADE’s music overflows with wide-open soulfulness. He was a drummer for years, even teaching to pay the bills, but MEADE found his true voice when he began playing guitar as a teen in his pastor father’s church. Those experiences lend both a gravitas and rebelliousness to MEADE’s songs and self.

Now the frontman of his band and slinging guitar licks with expert precision, his music rolled out with two releases in 2014, his first EP 'Long Ways To Go' followed by his first full-length album 'Chief Of The Sinners.' His next EP 'Heartbreak Coming' came in 2016 with a couple of singles to announce his commencement on the Texas Music Chart, followed by his second full-length album 'Waves' in 2019. In 2021, MEADE introduced his third LP 'Black Sheep' including the hit tracks "Happier Alone," "Cave In," "Dopamine Drop," and "Deja Vu." MEADE released his fourth LP 'Abstract Art Of An Unstable Mind' in the Fall of 2022, further showcasing his ability to seamlessly blend genres into a groovy yet piercingly fresh sound of rock 'n' roll.

You have this person, bound to the injured version of themselves, connected as one and confined to a space they can't escape. They separate and see their hurt before them. The bandages come off and it's loud, it's vulnerable... it's unpredictable. Only through acceptance and embrace can they find peace, but even still, in a space they'll never leave."

Tulipomania presents 'I've Been Told - Absolution', a mutual artistic echo with author Jeff VanderMeer

Philadelphia-based art-rock duo Tulipomania are back with 'I've Been Told - Absolution', the first offering from their sixth album 'Absolution', inspired by an invitation from acclaimed author Jeff VanderMeer to contribute music as part of the publication of his latest novel 'Absolution', the surprise fourth volume in his award-winning 'Southern Reach' series.

With a pressingly mournful urgency, this single's soundscape resonates with the complex energies enveloping VanderMeer’s novel, the author having invited the duo to create music inspired by 'Absolution' while still a work in progress. Hearing that VanderMeer took inspiration for the 'Absolution' novel from their 'Dreaming of Sleep' album, the duo enthusiastically accepted the challenge.

Alternately categorized as cult synth punks, glam-leaning, post-punk, art-rock and muscular chamber pop, Tulipomania is Tom Murray (lead vocals, synthesizer, electronic percussion) and Cheryl Gelover (synthesizer, background vocals) – they first began their collaboration through projects for experimental film and animation classes. Tulipomania evolved from those experiences. A sign of serendipity, the cover for this album was created by acclaimed artist Pablo Delcan, who also produced the artwork for the 10th anniversary editions of the Southern Reach Trilogy.

“Having the author crowned the ‘weird Thoreau’ entrust us with early versions of his newest novel Absolution was enormously enticing – knowing that he believed we could return with him to the world of Area X for the purpose of a cross-pollination is very exciting," Cheryl Gelover.

"We’re so glad we emerged from the journey with alternate versions of the ten tracks that originally inspired him, as well as four entirely new songs directly inspired by our immersion in the Southern Reach series and the latest novel in the series - Absolution.  It is quite an honor to share a title on our new album with Jeff's latest.”

Jeff VanderMeer fondly describes the animated video for 'I've Been Told - Absolution': "The dreamlike immersion in imagery from the novel creates a hypnotic and perfect effect for both a beautiful dirge and surge of a song and the atmosphere for Absolution. Gorgeous and evocative".  Shot frame by frame, utilizing multiple processes, including thermal printing, to create layered textures, the video features stop-motion animated objects (some frames vibrantly hand-tinted) and glimpses of the duo singing the lyrics. This exploration of various states of disintegration, painstakingly assembling thousands of individual images, evokes Absolution’s themes of dissolution and disorientation.

SWOLLEN TEETH Unleash New Single and Music Video; "Money & Greed"

Swollen Teeth have returned with their latest single, “Money and Greed”, a visceral track that dives headfirst into the ravenous nature of unchecked ambition and the personal and societal ruin it can leave in its wake, providing a ferocious statement on the insatiable hunger for wealth and power. Directed by the band, the video melds Swollen Teeth’s brutal sound with a meticulously choreographed breakdance sequence from elite dancers Luigi, Pnut, Bomani SunRa, Oshen Rise, FleaRock, and Spidey. This rare fusion of breakdance and extreme metal brings together two intense cultural forces, crafting a visual experience as innovative as it is awesome. Much like it's predecessor, "Family" which was released last month, the raw intensity of “Money and Greed” is fueled by the creative synergy of legendary producer, Ross Robinson and Slipknot's Sid Wilson. This new era of Swollen Teeth, and their debut full-length album, which will be released in 2025, marks the first project where the two have joined forces as co-producers. Known for producing Slipknot’s seminal first albums, Robinson has a reputation for pushing bands to their extremes, while Wilson’s innovative energy and expert aural world-building brings a formidable edge to Swollen Teeth’s sound.

Swollen Teeth burst onto the scene in 2021 with their self-titled EP, a visceral blend of brutality and raw emotion that garnered praise from heavy music outlets and fans alike. Singles "EMPTY", "LETHAL" "CAR CRASH" and "SWOLLENTEETH" showcased their unpredictable, frenetic energy, which Revolver Magazine described as "brutal as hell." with Metal Hammer enthusing that "there’s an air of grotesque nu metal nastiness that feels like a re-vamped take on the misanthropic nihilism of Iowa’s finest." and Kerrang! musing "What's really heavy, masked, mysterious, sounds like it was made by complete lunatics, and involves Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson and producer Ross Robinson?."

New Video Alert: Texas Hippie Coalition - "Bones Jones"

Texas rockers TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION release the hilariously entertaining animated video for their recently released track, "Bones Jones."  The video was directed by musician Edsel Dope and co-directed by David Perada, and animated by Makinita Silva.  The video tells the crazy story of the character Bones Jones, with the heavy riffs on the tracks setting the manic mood. 
 
“In our hometown, there was a guy named ‘Bones’," says Ritch. "He was about six-foot-seven-inches tall like Lurch from The Addams Family. I’d get weed from him, but he sold everything you could think of. Just weed for me though,” he chuckles.

Donella Drive Release New Single “Simian Transmission” + Animated Video ​

San Antonio-based alternative rock band Donella Drive has just released their latest single, "Simian Transmission", alongside an animated video. "Simian Transmission" is available now on all streaming platforms, and the music video can be found on Donella Drive’s official YouTube channel.

Aidan Escalante describes the meaning behind “Simian Transmission”:

"The song 'Simian Transmission' is the first single from their upcoming full length album “AXON” set for a February 2025 release. 'Simian Transmission' delves into themes of mental chaos and societal disconnection. It portrays a sense of frantic expression and inner turmoil, with imagery of static and fragmented signals reflecting a struggle to find clarity. The repeated emphasis on 'failure' highlights feelings of defeat and hopelessness. The title suggests a primal form of communication that has been disrupted, symbolizing a loss of connection and isolation. Overall, the lyrics explore the search for meaning in a chaotic world."

Andrew Salazar comments on the making of the video:

"Aidan discovered the artwork of James Quigley, aka Gunsho, through the hip hop group Malibu Ken, a project by Aesop Rock and Tobacco. Other artists Gunsho has done work for include the likes of Ozzy Osbourne and Andrew W.K. Intrigued by his unique style, Aidan reached out to Gunsho online, and they immediately hit it off. Gunsho then created the artwork for the video and collaborated with his friend Peter Karpick, a former creative director for Adult Swim and freelance designer who brought the images to life through animation. This collaboration resulted in a music video that we feel, perfectly complements the mood of the song."

Combining elements of alternative metal, post hardcore, and progresssive rock, San Antonio outliers Donella Drive cannot be categorized by a singular label. Consisting of Aidan Escalante (lead vocals/guitar), Andrew Salazar (bass), Steven Rodriguez (Drums). Donella Drive has expanded upon the previous boundaries of their work since their inception in 2012.

Brothers Escalante and Salazar originally formed the band with the desire to create a sonically engaging music that pushed the rock medium in a new direction. In 2015, Donella Drive released their first album Anomalous, followed by Diy tours, opening for legendary acts such as Megadeth, Deftones, and Scorpions. The band has also toured and supported contemporary bands such as Dead Poet Society, The Callous Daoboys, Protest The Hero, Hail the Sun , He Is Legend, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and more.

Noteworthy changes such as Escalante’s shift to lead vocals, amplified their sound and led them to create Bloomer in 2020.  Donella Drive remains tenacious in challenging themselves in their pursuit to elevate their music and diverge from commercial endeavors, which is evident in their EP release, Ozell, and the work on their first full length album “AXON” they are currently producing. Their single “Keep You Waiting” peaked at #24 on The Billboard Rock Indicator chart as well as peaking at #10 on The Foundations Chart. The band was also a finalist for The Battle For Wacken Festival and performed at The Viper Room in West Hollywood in 2022.

ENVY OF NONE RELEASE NEW HALLOWEEN SINGLE ‘NOT DEAD YET’ - NEW VIDEO OUT NOW

With an unyielding spirit and defiant energy, "Not Dead Yet" is the latest offering from Envy of None, scheduled for release on Halloween. Featuring the masterful musicianship of Rush’s Alex Lifeson (guitars), Coney Hatch’s Andy Curran (bass, keyboards, backing vocals), Alf Annibalini (guitar, keyboards), and Randy Cooke(drums), with the ever-compelling Maiah Wynne delivering lead vocals, Envy of None conjure a unique blend of classic, progressive rock and modern, vibrant textures. 
 
Speaking on the song's meaning, Maiah, who penned the lyrics, shared that it was inspired by Andy's raw chorus line: "I'm not dead yet, come on along and see what I am good for." She describes the track as a cathartic anthem, one that embodies resilience and defiance against the forces that aim to tear us down. "Simply continuing to exist, to create, and to fight is inspiring and powerful. "You have to continue to exist, to create, and to fight. That’s the heart of the song: keep going and enjoy the ride." The single is accompanied by a video inspired by the Mexican Dia De Los Muertos ‘Day of the Dead’ holiday, produced by Mariano Biotico.

As the band blends their dynamic soundscapes, "Not Dead Yet" unfolds as a layered journey, driving forward with tight rhythms and Alex Lifeson’s legendary guitar lines. The breakdown, Wynne’s favourite part, is the song’s emotional peak, offering listeners a moment of release before launching back into its resilient conclusion. HOUSE OF LORDS is now formed by the legendary singer James Christian – the sole member who appeared on all the band’s albums - guitarist Jimi Bell, who has been with the band since their return with 'World Upside Down,' the charismatic keyboardist and songwriter Mark Mangold (Touch, Michael Bolton, Drive, She Said) along with Swedish drummer Johan Koleberg (Lions Share, Ignition, Therion). This is the same line-up that appeared on the previous album 'Saints And Sinners' however they are now definitely more gelled and have produced a more focused and extremely ambitious new album with no weak points.

HOUSE OF LORDS stands for superb hooks and majestic atmospheres that bring back the memories of their stellar debut album, monumental guitar riffs, and a production to die for. HOUSE OF LORDS debuted in 1989 with the release of their self-titled album, a record that is still regarded as one of the best arena rock releases of the 1980s. The colossal sound, the soaring vocals of Christian, and the instrumental capabilities of the band (which featured ex-Angel and Giuffria keyboardist Gregg Giuffria, along with luminaries Lanny Cordola, Chuck Wright, and Ken Mary), were reminiscent of such frontrunners as Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Van Halen and immediately brought the band to the attention of the mainstream music media and the masses of '80s hard rock fans.

With their sophomore release, 'Sahara,' HOUSE OF LORDS had considerable radio and video chart success with their cover of Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home." After a tour with Nelson in 1991, the group disbanded, eventually coming back together with a new lineup (featuring original members Giuffria and Christian) in 1992 with "Demon's Down." With the change in musical climate at the time, HOUSE OF LORDS hibernated until the original lineup came back together in 2000, releasing the controversial "Power And The Myth," an album that featured a sound leaning more towards progressive hard rock with '70s rock influences.

After a short European tour, Christian decided to go back to the trademark arena rock sound of HOUSE OF LORDS, putting together a new lineup with the blessing of founding member Giuffria, who opted out right before the release of "Power And The Myth." New members Jimi Bell on guitars and B.J. Zampa on drums supplied a true powerhouse sound to the fifth studio album, "World Upside Down,' a record that caused a real stir in the hard rock and melodic rock scenes. That album was followed up by the equally impressive "Come To My Kingdom" in 2008, "Cartesian Dreams" in 2009, "Big Money" in 2011, "Precious Metal" in 2014, and "Saint Of The Lost Souls" in 2017.

HOUSE OF LORDS have toured relentlessly in Europe and the States in support of their releases and are a true staple of the hard rock scene on both continents.

VISION VIDEO unveils enchanting 'Let Go of Time' video from new 'Modern Horror' album

Post-punk outfit Vision Video presents has unveiled their new video for 'Let Go of Time', their fourth single from their 'Modern Horror' album. Diving headlong into the viscera of atrocity that we see in our modern world, this 11-track offering was preceded by the singles 'Stay', 'In My Side (Modern Horror Version)' and 'Dead Gods', a scathing critique of those who use dogma and ideology to justify violence and authoritarianism.

Having just won the 2024 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards Editor's Eyeball Award, Vision Video has been announced as part of the lineup for the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas. There's good reason that the band's output has been dubbed "Dance Music for the End-Times".

Formed in Athens, GA in 2020 by Dusty Gannon, whose character videos featuring "Goth Dad" have won the hearts of hundreds of thousands of followers, and Emily Fredock, Vision Video creates intense and uncompromising goth rock with a message. Injecting malaise into classic post-punk and new wave, this is refreshingly modern while paying homage to artists like the Chameleons and the Cure.

For this album, the band worked with Grammy Award-winning producer Ben Allen (Erasure, Animal Collective, Washed Out, Deerhunter), who recorded and mixed this album at Maze Studios in Atlanta. Mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Frank Arkwright (The Smiths, New Order, Joy Division, Primal Scream, Blur, Mogwai), this album features cover artwork by Ryan Dunn

"I wrote 'Let Go of Time' not long after I was diagnosed with PTSD. I was watching my favorite vampire film (the incredible Jim Jarmusch's 'Only Lovers Left Alive') and I found myself feeling a lot of parallels to how the character Adam (played by Tom Hiddleston) felt about the world - having to endure for so long, but always feeling less and less purpose because of this diminishing luster of things," says Dusty Gannon.

"I think that film, and ultimately this song is about finding purpose, joy and love when it is most difficult to find those things in life. It's about the endurance of love when you have someone that will give everything to spend time with you, to be present with you when you are not well. I'm really fortunate to have that in my life with my partner Scarlet. She has seen me in my lowest moments and my darkest hours and she is still there, always kind and loving and pushing me up to the light."

'Modern Horror' goes to darker and acidic places than earlier releases, leaning into Gannon’s experiences as an anti-war Afghanistan veteran and former firefighter-paramedic and drawing attention to the systematic disenfranchisement and seeming hopelessness of current world circumstances. An unrelenting exposition on real-world horrors, this record warns against further war and brutality.

'Modern Horror' maintains its grit under the nails. Charged with anger and frustration, it does not lose its sense of direction or its listenability. The guitar work is fierce and dissonant, but still melodic. Vocally and lyrically, Gannon belts and cries out in a pleading, yet controlled manner. Emily Fredock, utilizing vintage synths, creates gorgeous and haunting melodies that remain in your head well after the record stops, while newcomer Ryan Houchens’ drumming gives new energy to the band with a keen sense of ferocity.

Vision Video's first two albums 'Inked in Red' (2021) and 'Haunted Hours' (2022) - both recorded and mixed by Tom Ashton of The March Violets - were met with critical praise, with Pitchfork calling their music "tailor-made for the sort of wallflower who sprints to the dancefloor the instant the DJ drops 'Age of Consent' or 'Primary' at Goth Night". Vision Video has made the covers of Auxiliary Magazine and Fangoria Magazine. To date, they've completed eight major tours in North America, the UK and Europe.

The 'Modern Horror' album is out now, available on vinyl and everywhere digitally, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.  Vision Video will be touring their new album throughout autumn and winter, kicking off in Berlin on November 26. Their EU / Ireland / UK tour i. includes a series of dates with The Chameleons, The Membranes, Mark Burgess and The Nightmares.

Dead Icarus release debut album 'Zealot' today

Dead Icarus, the new band of former Atreyu lead vocalist and Gold-selling artist Alex Varkatzas, as well as Gabe Mangold of Enterprise Earth and Brandon Zackey, have officially released their debut album ZEALOT today, October 31, via MNRK HEAVY.

Produced and co-written by Mangold, ZEALOT is a precise and pummeling execution of airtight technical riffs, miles of solos, blast beat assault and battery, and screamed, growled, and sung vocals.

"Zealot is the culmination of our unyielding, fanatical belief. We set out to create a dynamic, multi-faceted record that incorporated everything we love about music. It's heavy, it's melodic, it's angry, it's hopeful, it has riffs and hooks but above all it's sincere and comes from purely from our heart and minds. No outside interference. Happy Halloween! Dorothy Drops Video For New Single "Devil I Know"

The raven-haired rock star from Los Angeles, DOROTHY, returned this summer, with the scorching new single "MUD." She rode in on a black horse, equipped with leather and signature red lip, the rock world will once again be schooled in the undeniable chemistry that is alive and well amongst metal and rock loyalists and country badasses. A musical outlaw through and through, Dorothy's new single is a display of raw, full-bodied vocal power complimented by heavy-hitting instrumentation and riffs galore. The song is sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart and at No. 4 on the Active Rock Chart.

Earlier this month, the singer shared an explosive performance video of the song, something her legion of fans has been eager to see and hear. Watch it here. Dorothy also performed alongside Creed's Scott Stapp at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on October 23. The duo of Nick Feldman and Jack Hues came out of the post-punk/new wave scene in the UK, and went on to achieve global success selling millions of records. Dark rock outfit SÉANCE OF SORROW are treating fans to a special Halloween release in the form of a music video. The band pays homage to the iconic Chris Cornell by covering AUDIOSLAVE's 'Like A Stone'. 

The band uses music as their medium to communicate with the mortal world. Acting as a conduit between the realm of the living and the realm of the dead, his mournful melodies tell their story. For the cover, the band wanted to create a darker and somber interpretation of the AUDIOSLAVE classic, The track was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Josiah Wiswell. 

SÉANCE OF SORROW's Michael Morrison comments, "Audioslave released their debut album 22 years ago. When I first heard Like A Stone, it sent chills through my body. The subtle delivery of morbid lyrics combined with Chris Cornell's vocal mastery left a lasting impression on me. With the song hailed as a classic, and Chris Cornell's passing cementing him as a legend and icon, I wanted to breathe new life into it. Rather than make a carbon copy, I wanted to give it a new, darker identity. I hope it finds its way into the hearts of old fans of the original and new fans who have never heard it before.” 

Each song provides a psychic vision to vocalist Michael Morrison, revealing details of their former lives, grieving loved ones, and similar, tragic endings.

Founded in 2007 by members of high-profile bands such as Soilwork, Arch Enemy, and Mean Streak, over the years THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA have been nominated three times for the Swedish Grammis, gathering millions of streams via their hits.
