GRAMMY® Award winning bassist David Ellefson (Ex-Megadeth) and acclaimed metal vocalist Jeff Scott Soto have unleashed the official music video for “Vengeance,” featuring guest vocals from the legendary Tim “Ripper” Owens (KK’s Priest, ex-Judas Priest).

 

The track comes from Ellefson-Soto’s highly anticipated sophomore album Unbreakable, that is out now via Rat Pak Records. “Vengeance” showcases the band’s heavier, more aggressive sound while highlighting the commanding presence of Owens, whose dynamic performance adds an electrifying layer to the song, driving you into a true dark nightmare.

Recorded at Rogue Studios in Wembley UK, by Alessio Garavello and produced by Chris Collier (Mick Mars, Korn, Flat Black) “Unbreakable” is a sonic assault packed with catchy riffs, melodic vocals, and thoughtful lyrics that blends their classic metal roots with modern rock intensity.

Hailing from East Texas and East Tennessee, the members of Lost Saints first met in Nashville. What began as casual harmonizing between friends quickly revealed a rare, magnetic blend – three voices fitting together like pieces of a puzzle. With roots in gospel, bluegrass and classic country, their sound carries both contemporary polish and an authentic, 90s-inspired edge.

“I think it is a little bit of a lost art, and our goal is to bring that thing back,” says Biano. “That mix of voices that was here since the beginning of music.”

“We want to bring harmony back into the country music scene, and there’s a space for that,” Addington explains. “Look back at the ‘90s and you had all those great vocal groups like Diamond Rio, Restless Heart and Lonestar.”

Produced by studio legend Ilya Toshinskiy, Emotions builds on the trio’s early singles, including 2024’s “I Wanna Let You” and 2025’s “The One,” expanding their sonic world into a heartfelt collection of stories. With a mix of outside cuts, covers and a track co-written by Biano as well as the trio's sweeping choruses and seamless vocal interplay, the EP embodies Lost Saints’ belief that harmony is both timeless and deeply human.

ALL HELL returns from the shadows with their fifth full-length album, Sunsetter,

Arriving October 10, 2025 on Terminus Hate City. From their origins in Asheville, North Carolina in 2013, the band has carved a singular path through the underground, blending elements of first wave black metal, deathrock, punk, and film score atmospheres into something entirely their own. Sunsetter is the culmination of years of evolution and hardship, a concept record that stretches from ancient myth to modern apocalypse, driven by fire, blood, and vision.

The band (Jacob Curwen on guitar and vocals, Erik Ballantyne on bass, and Elanti on drums) began work on Sunsetter after the release of 2019’s The Witch’s Grail. Progress was slow and plagued by constant disruption. The pandemic struck, personal tragedies followed, and devastating floods hit their home region. In the midst of all this, the band found themselves burned out and disillusioned with metal entirely. But after stepping back and rediscovering their creative hunger, they emerged with a record that is not only their most metal release to date, but also their most fully realized.

Sunsetter tells a sprawling, violent tale of exile, rebirth, and cosmic vengeance. The story begins in ancient times with the curse of Cain, the first murderer, cast into the land of Nod where he joins with Lilith, the exiled first wife of Adam. From their union comes a cursed bloodline. The album’s opening track, “Exiled into Nod,” skips any slow buildup and immediately drops the listener into the chaos of this mythic prayer. It is followed by “Dominus Sanguis, Domina Nox,” a dark hymn to the Lord of Blood and the Lady of Night, and then “The Violent Brood,” a classic ALL HELL track that portrays the frenzy of being hunted by Cain's spawn.

“The Bleeding” flips the perspective and explores the mind of a predator, with a guest solo from Nate Garnette of SKELETONWITCH adding another layer of menace. The title track, “Sunsetter,” takes a more triumphant tone, capturing the defiance and pride of the children of Cain as they reject the sun and claim dominion over the night. Its straightforward power made it the obvious choice for the album’s name.

Side two of the album begins with “The Flood and the Death,” a cinematic, spoken-word interlude that sets the stage for a shift in time. The next chapter takes place centuries later, where the bloodline of Cain has survived the flood and reemerges in the present. “Behold the Night” brings this rebirth to life with driving energy and shifting dynamics. “Path of Cain” offers a darkly anthemic reflection on lineage, sin, and survival.

The final act of the album accelerates toward doom. “Sacrifice to Shadow” portrays a cult's plea for the return of their ancient masters, while “The Ancients Rise” delivers on that prophecy with grinding riffs and ominous brass that call back to the album’s ancient beginnings. The closing track, “The Outer Night,” brings it all to an end. It begins with militaristic urgency, climbs to apocalyptic grandeur, and fades into the cold silence of a world overrun. Cain and Lilith return, and the sun sets for the last time.

The album was recorded, mixed, and engineered by Chris Adams at Hidden Audio, with mastering by Jacob Curwen. The visual aesthetic, including the album art, was also created by Curwen, preserving the band’s independent and uncompromising approach.

The sun fades. The night takes hold. The world belongs to ALL HELL.

Franck adds: “Even though ‘The Boys Of Summer’ deals with rather nostalgic themes of ‘summer love’ and the memory of a past relationship, for me - at the time a 13-year-old - it was, beyond the metal anthems of the 80s, a great song that I associated with summer, girls and the corresponding feeling for many, many years. DON HENLEY and the EAGLES are simply awe-inspiring. Even today, this song still evokes great memories for me, and since it’s also a song about questioning the past, this track fits perfectly into our times. I’m proud that we recorded it, and maybe it will be part of a show soon. People will love it and then share memories with this, our version!”

THE SORROW OF BEING IMMACULATE Releases "Sea of Trees"

THE SORROW OF BEING IMMACULATE provide another sonic space in which to dwell inside the uncomfortable and the emotional in the new single "Sea of Trees". The anonymous solo project has announced their new full-length album Suicide Forest, will arrive on September 26, 2025 via Drone Alone. 

"Sea of Trees," another name for Japan's Aokigahara Forest, is built around a single crushing riff, slowly embellished with lead parts that rise and twist like the restless spirits often imagined in that place. Following the release of the first single and title track "Suicide Forest," it continues the project's theme around an abstract tribute to those spaces where despair and silence meet. 

Written and recorded in solitude in a remote Welsh barn during winter 2024, Suicide Forest is an instrumental descent into psychological ruin, framed by loops of distorted guitar, subterranean bass, and meditative drones. The album’s eleven tracks move between suffocating sludge and eerie ambience, rooted in themes of trauma, detachment, and the long half-life of sorrow. There are no vocals. No catharsis. Just the sound of emotional erosion played at full volume.

The album was engineered and co-mixed by Mike Bannard at Safehouse Studios, Oxford, with mastering, artwork, and production handled by THE SORROW OF BEING IMMACULATE themselves. The result is a record that feels more exorcism than expression—music created not for others, but in spite of everything.

Suicide Forest follows 2024’s Church Music for Satanists EP, which gained underground attention for its immersive gloom and hypnotic minimalism. The new album expands on that aesthetic while deepening its emotional range and sonic intensity.

I took the instrumental back to my hotel on Sunset Blvd. and spent the night watching news, old protests, and screaming ideas into my headphone mic, probably disturbing the other guests. The next day, Shaun brought Scott Chesak in with us to add the middle section, which I think sounds like armed police banging on their shields. I was using the same old karaoke mic the Beastie Boys used on 'Sabotage' for the vocals! Working with Shaun is amazing, we just get on so well and he's crazy talented. I loved our time together and I’m excited to continue collaborating with him.

BAEST Launches Visualizer for New Song, “Depraved World," New Album 'Colossal' Out Now

Danish death metal commando BAEST is now celebrating the release of its fourth studio album, 'Colossal,' which is out now, via Century Media Records! The band is also now sharing a visualizer with animation by Frederik Birn for the album’s closing track, “Depraved World," which can be found below.

RYLAI Drops Alternative Indie-Pop Single “Fall For You” — Two Years in the Making

Rising alternative and indie-pop artist RYLAI just released his new single, “Fall For You,” a track that leans into the rock realm and showcases a process that took over two years to complete. This marks his second single since debuting this past June, following “Without You.” Built from the ground up as a passion project, “Fall For You” is a true grassroots production. RYLAI not only directed the entire production but also laid down many of the song’s core elements himself. Four musicians, from three different continents, came together to bring it to life: RYLAI and Liner from Korea, Dylan from America, and Faekt from Hungary.

The track is filled with rich guitar layers: Dylan contributed acoustic textures and atmospheric effects, Faekt handled the overdrive guitar (including a bold double-octave technique), and Liner delivered the bulk of the remaining parts, even coming up with melodies for sections like the intro, outro, and Verse 3. RYLAI himself added additional guitar layers and took charge of comping, timing, and producing the final parts.

Instrumentation didn’t stop there; the song uses two different basses (Faekt and Dylan split duties), Moog-driven synths, re-recorded drums (with some demo elements surviving the final cut), and massive vocal stacks that ballooned to 92 tracks by the end. Faekt also directed standout moments like the crowd vocals and harmonies, while RYLAI handled the intricate ad-libs, background vocals, and vocal production, with Colby fine-tuning the crowd vocals and doublings.

The result? A track that feels alive: raw, layered, and deeply collaborative. “Fall For You” may not have a major label machine behind it, but it’s the kind of record that reminds listeners what can happen when passionate artists from around the world come together with nothing but their love for music. As RYLAI puts it: “Four guys, three continents, two years, and one song we poured everything into. Will the world feel what we felt making it? I guess we’re about to find out.”

RYLAI is a rising singer-songwriter and producer born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. His passion for music began in the quiet aftermath of a pivotal moment at the end of sixth grade, when he started exploring melodies on an old digital piano that had sat untouched for years. FERMENTOR’s latest sonic experiment, Agreement, drops August 15th, 2025. This 17-track instrumental album concludes a trilogy of improvised releases, following Mind Meld and Release Me. Agreement pushes their boundary-defying blend of blistering death metal and sprawling, freeform post-rock to new extremes, delivering cinematic brutality and storytelling without words through instinct-driven chemistry.

The album opens with "Wintry Earth," a bleak, droning descent marked by jagged time signatures, eerie guitar textures, and a brutal death metal finale that sets a tense, violent tone. "Whisper Flesh" follows, a raw improvisation where dissonant loops and jagged grooves shift between blast-heavy death metal and crushing, groove-laden choruses, spiraling into ritualistic heaviness.

"Dead Farm" and "Ceratops" offer contrasting explorations of heaviness. "Dead Farm" channels the primal force of SEPULTURA, seismic pulse of GOJIRA, and progressive sludge of MASTODON with groove-driven intensity. "Human Caterpillar" immortalizes a glitching guitar pedal feedback during an improvisation, turning technical failure into a chaotic, avant-garde Easter egg and a tongue-in-cheek highlight released on April Fools’ Day.

"Transgression" blasts with thrash-rooted energy, tight cymbal chokes and groove-drenched riffs channeling the band’s early chemistry and old-school aggression. "Hides Behind Hands" offers a rare breath of melancholic reflection, trading brutality for beauty through shimmering loops and restrained percussion, inviting pause and introspection.

"Protohuman" is a kaleidoscopic hybrid of swirling loops, jagged rhythms, and pulverizing eruptions that merge FERMENTOR’s death-thrash roots with fearless experimentation. "Skybeam" unleashes a deafening blast of explosive energy, a chaotic tempest signaling the album’s climax.

ABOUT SAVAGE HANDS

From day one, Savage Hands have had a razor-sharp, singular focus on who, and where, they want to be. Founded in 2016 in Waldorf, Maryland, the group, under the tutelage of multi-platinum producer Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Sleeping With Sirens) have become staples in the heavy music underground thanks to a series of SharpTone Records releases – 2018’s Barely Alive, 2020’s The Truth In Your Eyes and 2023’s Rock Bottom – that have showcased their punishing blend of post-hardcore, metalcore and alternative rock. Their music is pressure-cooker dynamism careening through airy choruses, crushing drops and hard-charged lyricism, a sound they’ve brought to stages from coast to coast with the likes of D.R.U.G.S., Magnolia Park and While She Sleeps through their fiery, raved-about live show.

The breakdowns are more thunderous than ever, the skittering beds of electronics more pronounced and Garrow’s coarse-throated roar more harrowing as he details letdown, backstabbing and family trauma – a sonic car crash brought to life three minutes at a time.

Legendary rock pianist/keyboardist and longtime Guns N’ Roses member Dizzy F’n Reedhas just dropped his brand-new single, “Earn It 2 Burn It,” via 50q records. The track is the third single off his upcoming full length solo album Rock ‘N’ Roll Chose Me, which will see its physical vinyl release on August 22, 2025, with the digital full-length album release following on September 5, 2025.

 

In celebration of the release, Reed has also unveiled the official lyric video for “Earn It 2 Burn It,” which can be seen below.

 

Dizzy shares, "The song is about working our asses off and never actually seeing any money at all. And starting off our lives with incomprehensible debt from the cost of our education to do something else altogether while being pummeled with information about what we should like, want and need. The music was born from my love of metal and my hero John Lord. Thank you Johnny Kelly, Mike Duda and Jason for making it like it needed to be."

Dizzy Reed is a US-born musician and composer who is best known as the keyboardist and backing vocalist for the rock band Guns N’ Roses. A touring musician since the age of 12, Dizzy joined Guns N’ Roses in 1990, helping transform the band's sound with his blues, funk and classic rock stylings on the keyboards, most notably on the Use Your Illusion I & II albums. He was inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012 as a member of G N’ R, and fronts side project Hookers and Blow on lead vocals and keys.
