BLACKBRAID Streams New Album 'Blackbraid III' Ahead of Friday's Release

Indigenous solo black metal project BLACKBRAID is anointing fans with an advanced stream of his new opus, 'Blackbraid III.' The album is now streaming in its entirety ahead of its release this Friday, August 8! Listen below.

ICYMI: Blackbraid recently unveiled the latest single, "The Dying Breath of a Sacred Stag," along with a music video via Black Metal Promotions! The clip was created by Wolf Mountain Productions(The Anti-label) and can be found at THIS LOCATION.

BLACKBRAID will also be embarking on a North American headliner later this year with support from Lamp of Murmuur and Dödsrit, with Gudsforladt replacing LoM as support for two Canadian dates. The trek will kick off on September 19 in San Diego, CA and will make its way around the U.S. + Canada until the final stop on October 11 in Los Angeles, CA. Dizzy F'n Reed (Guns N' Roses) Releases New Single "Earn It 2 Burn It" via 50q records ​

Legendary rock pianist/keyboardist and longtime Guns N’ Roses member Dizzy F’n Reedhas just dropped his brand-new single, “Earn It 2 Burn It,” via 50q records. The track is the third single off his upcoming full length solo album Rock ‘N’ Roll Chose Me, which will see its physical vinyl release on August 22, 2025, with the digital full-length album release following on September 5, 2025.

Dizzy shares, "The song is about working our asses off and never actually seeing any money at all. And starting off our lives with incomprehensible debt from the cost of our education to do something else altogether while being pummeled with information about what we should like, want and need. The music was born from my love of metal and my hero John Lord. Thank you Johnny Kelly, Mike Duda and Jason for making it like it needed to be."

Eli Young Band’s New Album, ‘Strange Hours,’ Out Now

18x RIAA-certified country hitmakers Eli Young Band launch a new era with Strange Hours, out now. As the band’s first independently released album via UnLevel Records and their first full-album release in over three years, Eli Young Band shares why they keep Strange Hours. Strange Hours comprises 13 songs, all co-written as a band or with long-trusted collaborators, and introduces a new chapter driven by experience and a million miles of wisdom, from a band of brothers who grew from hometown heroes into globe-trotting, chart-topping pioneers still very much in their prime. Eric Arjes and Jimmy Robbins produced 12 of the 13 tracks, while “Bad Luck” was produced by Julian Raymond and Scott Borchetta. 

“We started this thing when we were like 20 years old, and it’s been such a crazy road and such a longer road than any of us could have conceptualized at the time,” says bassist Jon Jones. “I think right now feels a little full circle, in a really nice way.”
 
Seeking both a fresh start and a return to their roots with this project, the never-changing lineup of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones and Chris Thompson sought out Panhandle House Studio in their hometown of Denton, Texas – the birthplace of the college friends-turned-bandmates’ 2005 debut album Level, which spawned fan-favorites such as “Small Town Kid” and set the stage for the numerous hits that have followed in the 20 years since.
 
“Now, we get to step back into our Texas shoes,” vocalist Eli agrees. “I think this new stuff finds us reaching deep into our past as a band. We’re remembering where the magic was – all those songs we wanted to record for our Level record, that felt way too edgy for Country Radio at the time.”
 
For the band, being independent again for the first time in years isn’t a challenge, it’s a reward – and they took the chance to embrace not just renewed creative freedom, but the fun of their self contained live-band philosophy. 
 
“Going back to Panhandle House where we recorded Level, it feels like we got to remind ourselves why we started making the kind of music we make,” Eli says. “When this music comes out, I think fans will know it is 100% coming from us.”
 
“Honestly, going to Panhandle House feels like going back to your childhood home in a way,” Jones notes. “It just evokes these memories, like this slightly-younger version of ourselves comes out.”
 
“One thing that’s really special is we’ve come full circle and remember that energy, but we’re also older and wiser,” drummer Thompson adds. “We have years of studio, songwriting and performing experience under our belt, so we have more of a honed edge going in. That’s a really cool advantage.”
 
The comfort level is plainly evident. Exploring new corners of their patented sound by day, and going home to their families each night, the band members were free to bring every ounce of the last 25 years to bear. Tracks like the lead single “Home In Hometown” are proof, featuring all the elements that made EYB what it is – from the electric vocal delivery to the deeply textured sonics and soulful theme.
 
A true-to-experience ballad of life on the highway, “Home In Hometown” stands as a heart-on-their-sleeve tribute to those the band loves most – and what they’ve learned from 20+ years away. While atmospheric guitars and a steady rhythmic pulse capture a sense of anticipation, another euphoric chorus helps the band unpack what “home” really means.
 
“I was digging deep into our Texas roots,” Eli says of the modern-classic midtempo. “I wanted to write something that felt like Pat Green or Jack Ingram would cut. And when you travel like we do, a lot of times you’re thinking about coming home and being with your family – but, it’s almost like if they meet you on the road, anywhere can be home. It just feels right. I wanted to capture that.”
 
Strange Hours also includes a head-nodding, foot-tapping feature from Corey Kent in “Whiskey Told Ya” as Kent delivers humorous lyrics with raspy vocals throughout the track that lyricizes the story of when alcohol meets honesty:

From feel-good singalongs and heart melting wedding anthems to pure, untamable romance and clever comebacks of love, they show the same stage-rocking Texas-country hit makers fans know and love, undaunted and with new maturity baked in.
 
“It’s been a blessing just to be able to do this for so long, and over our career we’ve seen a lot of bands come and go,” guitarist Young says. “This feels like family, and we can take that with us as we go down this next part of the road.”
 
“Our music, since it’s been the four of us making it from day one, has such a strong through line,” Jones agrees. “The way we sounded in the beginning, that’s the way we’re going to sound in the end.”
 
As the ACM Award-winning and CMA and GRAMMY-nominated band unveils their newest project, they also continue on a celebratory road journey with their headlining Strange Hours Tour, underway now. "I wrote 'Sharpshooter' at a point where I was finally done romanticizing a relationship that had already done enough damage. There’s that phase after a breakup where you start questioning everything—did I mess up, do they miss me, should I have fought harder? This song came after all that. It’s when the fog clears and you realize, “Wait, no. I actually don’t miss you anymore," shares Burke Louis.

He adds, "By the time I finished this song, I didn’t care who they were with now or what version of themselves they were trying to be. It was like—cool, go be someone else’s problem. I wasn’t gonna reload, rewind, or relive any of it. 'Sharpshooter' is just me finally saying—you weren’t worth my time then, you’re certainly not worth my future now."

Allbrook Station is a genre-bending pop rock band from Salt Lake City

As a teenager growing up in Australia, there’s likely very few others out there with ambitions of being a “rock star.” Especially considering rock music isn’t exactly regarded by the mainstream as the “coolest” thing in the 2020’s. However, 22 year old CASSIDY PARIS is an exception.

CASSIDY is determined to make rock music a ‘cool’ thing again and inspire a new generation of younger fans to not only listen to rock ‘n’ roll, but maybe even pick up a guitar, instead of a phone.

At the age of 11, CASSIDY met singer songwriter Paul Laine (ex Danger Danger, The Defiants), who developed a unique mentoring role. Paul took CASSIDY under his wing to help develop her as an artist and songwriter, collaborating with her in songwriting and producing her music.

From early on, CASSIDY has wanted to deliver a strong message through her music. In 2018 she released the song “Stand,” a heartfelt song about standing up for yourself as a young woman.

CASSIDY continues to deliver that message, promoting anti-bullying through performances at many schools around Melbourne, Australia and is an active campaigner for the worldwide ‘Metalheads Against Bullying’ organization. CASSIDY has also built up a strong connection with her growing worldwide fanbase that has already seen her perform in America, Japan and the UK with the band.

CASSIDY PARIS released her debut full length album titled ‘New Sensation’ in December 2023 to critical acclaim. “My debut album is 80s infused, mixed with a current vibe. Influenced by Rock Gods such as Debbie Harry, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett & Lita Ford, I'm keen to put my spin on things in a modern original way”, she declared.

CASSIDY PARIS recently embarked on a European Tour where she supported AOR legends Harem Scarem in April 2025. She also performed at festivals such as Frontiers Rock Festival Italy and Chti Rock France. Sainthood Reps announce their new album "Dull Bliss" coming out on September 26 via Smartpunk Records. Since the late 2000s, Sainthood Reps have been known for their unique and dreamy blend of grunge, post-hardcore, and shoegaze; their mastery in the genre is more evident than ever on their new single "Dizzy" below.

According to the band, each song on the new album is either about dullness, pure bliss, a juxtaposition of those two feelings, or how those feelings can be one in the same.

Speaking about the new single, Sainthood Reps vocalist and guitarist Cesco Montesanto shares, "This is the last song we wrote for the record, and it almost didn't make it. It started out much heavier, but then drifted into Gin Blossoms/Nada Surf territory. A lot of my lyrics revolve around anxiety in some way, and this song is no different. Specifically, it’s about the anxiety I get when I try to open my mouth to talk to anybody about anything whatsoever."

CHRONICLER OF ARDUL was started as a passion project by David Williams when he wanted to combine his love of metal music and dark fantasy to tell a story that spanned over songs and albums. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, he puts his skills to the test to create the music for a story he had been working on for 9 years. The debut EP called Myrewood released late 2023, with its written short story partner, Myrewood Part 1, published in May 2024. Wallen first tossed the idea of featuring a rapper on the Charlie Handsome produced song during his interview with Theo Von in April, stating at the time, “It seemed like it could use a rapper on there. I didn’t end up using a feature… it’s one of those songs where it wouldn’t be surprising if we got a remix and did that once it’s out.” 
 
“Miami” is track 35-of-37 on Wallen’s fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, released in May. I’m The Problem remained atop the Billboard 200 chart for eight consecutive weeks in the US and Canada, and has already yielded four No. 1’s at Country radio, including “Just In Case,” which is on its third week at No. 1, and the title track, which remained at No. 1 for eight weeks.

ALL HELL is a blackened metal trio from Asheville, North Carolina, known for their relentless fusion of first wave black metal, deathrock, punk, and horror-driven storytelling. Thy Catafalque Release Live Video Ahead of First Latin American Tour

Even when it was only thought of as a studio project, Thy Catafalquehad a vision that extends beyond borders and boundaries. Over the past two decades, Hungarian mastermind Tamás Kátai and his growing cast of collaborators have brought the deadly art of extreme metal into close conversation with the avant-garde.

"XII: A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek is a feast for the ears", New Noise wrote in a 5 star review of Thy Catafalque's latest opus. "[it's] a celebration of the powers of music, bursting to express itself in whatever form it chooses to inhabit. An album to inexorably fall in love with". 

Now, fresh off their debuts at Hellfest and Kilkim Žaibu, followed by a resounding return in front of their home crowd at Fishing on Orfű, Thy Catafalque are preparing to tour Latin America for the very first time. As the group prepare to ignite crowds from Mexico to Argentina, today, they are releasing a live video from last year's hometown performance of the most chilling epic off their dark and dreamy twelfth album.      

"This is a massive step-up for Thy Catafalque", Kátai says. "We are very excited to play for our fans in places where we've never gone before".

Heading into Thy Catafalque's twelfth album, Tamás Kátai set out to make a straightforward metal record. But A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek wound up taking him on another surreal headtrip.

In English, "Ködkirály" translates to "King of Fog". The song unfolds somewhere between dreams and nightmares. Martina Veronika Horváth and Ivett Dudás rise amidst cosmic synths like fog beneath a sinking moon. Their chilling cleans left the sold-out crowd at the influential Hungarian underground venue completely mesmerized. With his deep rippling bass lines, Kátai only deepens the spell.       

Of course, Thy Catafalque aren't ones to leave their fans in suspense. Halfway through "Ködkirály", a death metal riff comes thundering down from the blackened sky. When dueling guitarists Zoltán Vigh and Krisztián Varga  unfurl a procession of gloomy tremolo picking, it's harrowingly clear that the king has come. "Hullj, nehéz eső / Fall, heavy rain", roars Gábor Dudás, commanding the group's many followers to bang their heads.

Thy Catafalque's twelfth album looks back longingly at the past, but Tamás Kátai isn't stopping to smell the roses. With A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek, he shows that the beautiful dreams are yet to come. 2025 will see Thy Catafalque make their debut on the world's biggest stages - from Hellefest and Kilkim Žaibu  to Rockstadt Extreme and Alcatraz Festival - before embarking on their first-ever tour of Latin America.
