Denitia's Fourth Studio Album 'Texas Angel' Arrives 2/5/27; Title Track Available Now

Acclaimed singer, songwriter Denitia announces her fourth studio album, Texas Angel, arriving Feb. 5, 2027, marking her first release in partnership with Thirty Tigers for distribution. The album’s title track, “Texas Angel,” is available today, offering the first taste of new music from the forthcoming project and introducing a deeply personal collection of songs about love, belonging, family and the search for peace.

PRE-SAVE TEXAS ANGEL HERE AND LISTEN TO “TEXAS ANGEL” BELOW

Produced by Brad Allen Williams (Brittany Howard, Brandy), Texas Angel finds the country music songstress looking inward, reflecting on the pursuit of happiness and the desire to find a place and a feeling that can truly be called home. The album finds her walking through the highs and lows of love, success and self-discovery while looking beyond herself for wisdom from the generations who came before her.

“This record is me reflecting on the experiences of looking for peace and happiness in love, success and chasing that feeling of belonging,” says Denitia. “In these songs I’m walking my way through the ups and downs and ultimately taking a good long moment to look for answers in the people that came before me. Finding solace in simplicity. Trying to figure out if I can glean some wisdom from my ancestors, living and beyond.”

The title track, “Texas Angel,” captures one of the album’s central themes: the realization that loving someone does not always mean you can save them. The song explores the emotional exhaustion that comes from continually trying to fix the person you love and the moment when self-preservation means finally letting go.

“This one is the age-old tale of being convinced you can fix the one you love,” Denitia explains. “All their problems and shortcomings are there for you to pick up after. And there comes a time when you just can’t swoop in and save the day anymore. Your angel wings are all worn out.”

With Texas Angel, Denitia enters a new chapter, bringing hard-earned perspective to a collection that explores the complexities of love, identity, resilience and finding where you belong. The forthcoming album continues her evolution as an artist while placing emotional honesty and deeply personal storytelling at its center.

There were her relatives who worked in the industrial plants and the corporate offices of the oil refineries in greater Houston where the singer-songwriter grew up. Then there were the musicians that those relatives loved and introduced her to, creating an artistic lineage of similarly hardy stock. That included folks like Dolly Parton, George Strait and Loretta Lynn, who combined hustle with creativity and inspired Denitia to express herself.

With Texas Angel she isn’t just standing on the shoulders of these giants, she is actively reaching back down and patting those shoulders in gratitude, tipping her musical cap by building something that is distinctly her own but pays tribute to those efforts and influences.

That concept, of honoring her forebears while telling her own story, began taking shape during a songwriting session following her first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in 2024.

“Getting invited to play the Opry was momentous for me because my grandmother, my great-grandmother, they all listened to WSM and now there was somebody in our family who was on that stage,” shares Denitia. “It was this mixture of feeling like, ‘Wow, I just want to be a part of the fabric and the lineage of country music’ and realizing my positioning in my family. And then also just the idea of standing in one's own power.”

Given its roots, it is no surprise then that Texas Angel is an unadulterated country affair, its 14 tracks suffused with warm acoustic instrumentation, wistful steel guitars and Denitia’s inviting vocals, toggling between tender vulnerability and fiery flintiness as she exorcises romantic and professional demons of the past, embraces the quotidian pleasures of the present and explores the freedom of an unwritten future.

“I feel like I'd been circling it with my last two records,” she says of the album’s traditional sound. “I kept getting closer and closer and I thought, all right, enough. I'm going to go directly for it. I want to make a classic country record that is inspired by the people that I love in this genre — Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, Glen Campbell, Loretta Lynn, George Strait.”

COREY KENT ANNOUNCES 2027 HEARTLAND ROCK AND ROLL TOUR

Multi-Platinum Sony Music Nashville recording artist Corey Kent is taking his forthcoming album  Heartland Rock and Roll on the road, announcing his 2027 Heartland Rock and Roll Tour, a 20+ date cross-country trek kicking off Jan. 22 at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, TX. The tour will make stops in Houston, Detroit, Columbus, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Boston and more before culminating April 30 with Kent’s headline debut at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. Additional dates will be announced soon. Tyler Nance and Jacob Hackworth will join Kent as support throughout the tour. Tickets on sale Friday, Sept. 11 at 10 am local at coreykentofficial.com.

The tour announcement comes as Kent readies his third major-label album, Heartland Rock and Roll, which captures the Oklahoma native’s signature blend of country, rock and soul while putting a name to the sound he has spent his career building.

“This year I’ve played all over the world and opened up for some of my favorite artists,” shared Kent. “But now it feels like it’s time for a headline tour right here in the heartland…the Heartland Rock and Roll Tour! I’ve reimagined everything on this tour making this show unlike anything we’ve ever done. I hand picked some of my favorite venues in the country and it’s almost time! Tickets go on sale this Friday.”

Produced primarily by Austin Goodloe, with additional production from Jon Randall and Chris Farren, Heartland Rock and Roll spans 16 tracks that blend golden-hour nostalgia, rugged honesty and the peace that comes with staying true to yourself. The project features previously released tracks including “Everyday Life,” “Rocky Mountain Low” featuring Koe Wetzel, “Wannabe,” “Cigarette Burns,” “Rather Be Here” featuring Jason Aldean and current single “Empty Words,” which is Top 40 and climbing at country radio.

Heartland Rock and Roll is my third major label album, and it’s really the first time I’ve been able to finally name the sound I’ve been working towards my entire career,” said Kent. “The lyrics span from nostalgia, to honest regrets and gratitude for the simple things I value most in life. From top to bottom, this is me. Every artist wants to leave their mark in music... a way to say, ‘I was here and I did it my way.’ This feels like mine. This is heartland rock and roll.”

Infusing Oklahoma roots with the untamed energy of a rebel rocker, Kent has built his career on doing things his own way. From dancehalls and dive bars in Bixby, Oklahoma, to earning two No. 1 singles at country radio, more than 1 billion career streams and multiple RIAA certifications, Kent’s rise has been steady, hard-earned and fueled by conviction.

“I’ve been fighting my differences for so long, but now it’s like, ‘Let’s just use those,’” Kent explains. “I’m not trying to be anybody else. Bigger fades, ‘better’ lasts.”

The forthcoming tour will bring Kent’s evolving sound to intimate theaters, clubs and legendary venues across the country, including a hometown-adjacent Texas kickoff at Billy Bob’s Texas and stops at Houston’s House of Blues, Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre, Pittsburgh’s Stage AE and Boston’s House of Blues before the tour’s final night at the Ryman Auditorium.

To date, Kent has earned Platinum certification for “Something’s Gonna Kill Me,” Gold certification for “This Heart” and Triple-Platinum certification for his No. 1 breakthrough hit “Wild As Her.” Rolling Stone has praised the Oklahoman native for giving “the region’s signature sound a shot of mainstream sensibility,” while CMT and the Opry NextStage program have recognized him as an artist to watch. He has toured alongside Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, Parker McCollum, Jon Pardi and Koe Wetzel.

ERIC CHURCH REFLECTS ON A LIFE “ON THE ROAD” New Music Arrives This Thursday, September 10

11-time GRAMMY nominee Eric Church has spent the better part of two decades turning the road into both a stage and a source of inspiration. With new song “On The Road” arriving this Thursday, Sept. 10 via MCA, he looks back at the iconic venues he’s played, the legends he’s shared the stage with and the moments that have shaped a life driven by a musical dream – all while proving the man Esquire dubbed “one of the most singular working artists in any genre” still has plenty of miles ahead. Pre-order/pre-save “On The Road” HERE.

Written by Church and produced by longtime collaborator Jay Joyce, “On The Road” traces the winding path of Church’s career through the memories that stay with him: from playing to crowds beneath the Northern Lights to sharing the stage with artists who helped define the music he came to make.

For an artist who has become a North Star for a generation of musicians coming up behind him, Church turns that idea inward. Rather than looking at his career from the outside, “On The Road” considers what it means to spend a life moving forward, knowing that someday the road will belong to someone else.

Lookin’ back you think it’d seem so long, this winding path that I’ve been rollin’ on,” Church sings, before arriving at the song’s most poignant realization: one day he’ll be “just a name on a wall, and some other cowboy will hear the call.”

“There’s something about a life on the road where the miles start to blur together, yet the people and the moments never do,” reflects Church. “Those are the things you carry with you. You realize how much of who you are was shaped somewhere between one town and the next, and maybe that’s why you never really stop wondering what’s waiting down the road.”

In keeping with his longstanding commitment to the Church Choir, Church is giving all premium members an early listen to the song starting NOW in the Eric Church app and at EricChurch.com. Register HERE.

About Eric Church
A seven-time ACM Award winner, four-time CMA Award winner (including 2020’s Entertainer of the Year), TIME100Philanthropy 2025 honoree and 11-time GRAMMY nominee – including four nods for Best Country Album, Eric Church has built a passionate fan base through his critically acclaimed catalog of music. Church’s 2024 release, “Darkest Hour,” saw the superstar signing over all of his publishing royalties to the people of North Carolina to provide immediate relief following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, while also providing ongoing funds to support a more resilient future for his home state. The song is featured on his latest album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, marking his first new music since 2021’s Heart & Soul triple album (“Stick That In Your Country Song,” “Hell Of A View”). That project followed prior releases including RIAA Gold-certified Desperate Man (“Some Of It,” “Desperate Man”), Platinum-certified Sinners Like Me (“How ’Bout You,” “Guys Like Me”), Carolina (“Smoke a Little Smoke,” “Love Your Love the Most”) and Mr. Misunderstood (“Record Year,” “Round Here Buzz”), Double-Platinum certified The Outsiders (“Like a Wrecking Ball,” “Talladega”) and 4x Platinum-certified Chief (“Springsteen,” “Drink In My Hand”), as well as 32 Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum certified songs. Church is also a minority owner of the Charlotte Hornets, a co-owner of the iconic Field & Stream brand, and has his own SiriusXM music channel, “Eric Church Outsiders Radio,” his own liquor offering, Whiskey JYPSI, and his own six-story venue on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway, Chief’s.

Stoned Jesus Get Theatrical on Proggy New Single “Jackal”

With their forthcoming album trilogy, the heavy progressive trailblazers in Stoned Jesus are reaching a new creative peak. After topping best of 2025 lists with its scorching opener, Songs to Sun, this year, frontman Igor Sydorenko and his bandmates are cycling into the darkest, most daring and deeply moving territory of their career with Songs to Moon.

Today, Stoned Jesus are thrilled to release the album’s mini prog opera as the second advanced single from Songs to Moon. While hounded by grim hopes for the future, the wily “Jackal” will leave progressive rockers of all stripes pleasantly surprised.

“‘Jackal’ is Stoned Jesus at our most theatrical. Even though the time signature is 4/4 through and through, it’s the proggiest song on Songs to Moon”, Sydorenko says before adding. “Bonus challenge for all the true prog nerds. See if you can find the early Marillion line that I quoted word for word”.

Watch the video for “Jackal” below:

Songs to Moon comes out October 16, 2026 on Season of Mist.

The Songs trilogy spans the many phases of Stoned Jesus. While an existential shroud hung over Songs to Sun, Songs to Moon plunges the band into a dark night of the soul. Like the bogeyman, “Jackal” stalks through a house of horrors. “In the darkness of the future past”, Sydorenko whispers over drums that rattle like Alice in Chains on Jar of Flies. “Hear me walking over skulls and dust”. Behind each locked door lies a disturbing scene that one expects to find when reading Aldous Huxley or George Orwell.

Lyrically, the question that ‘Jackal’ poses is pretty much on the nose”, says Sydorenko. “When you sell your soul for comfort, what kind of future do you get in return?”.

But even though Songs to Moon is their most melancholic album, Stoned Jesus can’t be confined to just one shade of blue. As shadows often do, “Jackal” shifts its shape in the blink of an eye. “Go to sleep”, Sydorenko commands before kicking down the doors with the album’s heaviest - and funkiest - blues riff. The facts of the matter are grim (“No money, no future, no reason to fight”), but the song’s epic symphonic coda builds a clear case that for Stoned Jesus,  both the present and future are blazingly bright.

The video for “Jackal” was created by Phobia Artworks.

Catch Stoned Jesus this fall as they debut Songs to Moon on European stages.

Stoned Jesus 2026 European Festival Dates

October 30 - Vallet, France @ WeStill Fest [TICKETS]

Following in the steps of Led Zeppelin III, Opeth’s Damnation or Alice In Chain’s Jar of Flies, during its final lap, Songs to Moon strips down to acoustic guitar and Sydorenko’s hushed vocals. “And when the sun goes down / It brightens up my mood”. As the dreamy desperation of “Window In My Room” fades beneath the stark reminder of closer “One More Empty Day”, Stoned Jesus return to earth weary but wise beyond their years and ready to explore the next frontier.

Canadian modern metal band OSYRON present an electrifying offering in their new single release, "Higher." Alongside the atmospheric track, the Canadians have launched their pre-sale for the forthcoming, self-titled, full length album. Osyron is scheduled for release on November 27, 2026, via Distortion Music Group (DMG) - Powered by Reigning Phoenix Music.

Of the DMG signing, the band also comments:

"We're absolutely thrilled to be joining the Distortion Music Group family for this next chapter of Osyron. After more than a decade of building this band, releasing four somewhat okay albums, playing shows across North America and Europe, developing our sound, and even having a Polish guy in the band, finding the right label for this record was extremely important to us."

"DMG's passion for heavy music, their international reach, and the connections they have throughout the metal community make them the perfect partner for what we want to accomplish with this album."

"This album represents a huge step forward for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to have the babes at Distortion Music Group right there beside us as we enter this new era."

Maurizio Iacono, General Manager of DMG, commented, "We are proud to introduce Osyron to the DMG family. The band is one of Canada’s best-kept secrets that will finally get the chance to shine on a world stage; We are happy to have them on board as they continue their journey through the progressive power metal world!”

Emerging out of an immersive atmospheric haze, "Higher" erupts into life with a ferocious brutality manifested through thunderous guitar rhythms and discordant harmonies. The track's chorus soars with melodic intensity, while the heavy power remains relentlessly impactful. Through compelling vocal melodies to monstrous harsh, OSYRON demonstrate their prowess for balancing a sonic attack and ethereal soundscapes.

Dosser "Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake" Out 12/11 + Band Shares Video for Title Track

Baltimore's Dosser return with Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake, their second full-length and first for Iodine Recordings. Pre-order the album, out December 11, here.

They have shared the video for the title track. Watch it Below:

Building on the dense, melodic alternative rock of 2023's Violent Picture/Violent Sound, the band pushes further into the tension between heaviness and restraint, drawing from the weight and atmosphere of Failure, HUM, Shiner, Heatmiser, and Jawbox while continuing to carve out a sound distinctly their own.

Formed through Baltimore's DIY scene, Dosser have spent the years since their debut refining a sound built around layered guitars, driving rhythms, and melodies that emerge from beneath the noise. Across eight songs, Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake circles feelings of isolation, exhaustion, disconnection, and the search for something solid in a world that increasingly treats people as disposable.

The album's title came from an unlikely exchange with a suspected bot account that suddenly broke character and called the band "good for nothing, born for nothing, born by mistake." What began as a bizarre interaction quickly became an unexpectedly fitting metaphor for the record. "We felt like that was a good metaphor," the band explains. "How we're all born into a system that doesn't respect us. Then one day, it deems us obsolete and disposes of us."

Recorded, produced, and mixed by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain, Koyo) and mastered by Mike Kalajian, Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake captures Dosser at their most focused, balancing melodic immediacy with the urgency and tension that have defined the band from the beginning.

DOSSER LIVE:

9/25 — Cleveland, OH — The Birdhouse (W/ I Hate It Too + OK Buddy)
9/26 — Evansville, IN — Fuchsia Fest (W/ Footballhead, Day Aches + MORE)

A COLD PARADISE Celebrate Release of Much-Awaited Debut Album with New Music Video for "Once Upon A Dream" feat. Musical Star Benét Monteiro!

The wait is over: Modern metal outfit A COLD PARADISE release their highly anticipated self-titled debut album, A Cold Paradise, via PERCEPTION – Powered By Reigning Phoenix Music. Across twelve tracks, the band surrounding vocalist Antonio Calanna present a multifaceted sound where powerful modern metal meets soaring melodies, cinematic atmospheres and electronic elements. Rather than relying on heaviness alone, the quintet put emotion and contrast at the heart of their music, creating songs that deliberately refuse to be confined to a single stylistic formula.

That versatility has also resonated with the press. Metal.de describes the debut as “A well-thought-out, versatile album. A successful debut!”, while No Rush Webzine sums up the band's sound as “Atmospheric modern metal with plenty of emotion – a successful fresh start for Antonio Calanna.” Obliveon Magazine is equally convinced, concluding: “A successful debut that makes you eager to find out where the journey will go next.”

With A Cold Paradise, the band deliver a compelling introduction to what A COLD PARADISE are all about: modern metal balancing power and vulnerability, driven by strong melodies, intense atmospheres and a distinct identity of their own.

In celebration of the record release, the band is premiering a music video for the song "Once Upon A Dream," featuring musical star Benét Monteiro. Watch the clip now streaming below:

A COLD PARADISE was founded in 2025 by Antonio Calanna, known to many metalheads as the former vocalist of All For Metal. The project was born from a desire to emphasize atmosphere, melody, and emotional depth within heavy music, without compromising its force.

Rooted in genuine feeling, A COLD PARADISE builds its sound from the inside out, letting emotion guide both songwriting and production. Heavy riffs collide with expressive melodies, and carefully woven electronic elements shape the emotional arc of each song. The band works with a defined collective identity: music, lyrics, and visuals all feed into the same artistic world, where storytelling, contrast, and emotional weight matter as much as the breakdowns. Living in the tension between vulnerability and force, A COLD PARADISE blends modern metal and rock with immersive textures to create a dynamic, evocative, and unmistakably human sound.

Since their formation, A COLD PARADISE have quickly proven themselves as one of the most promising new names in modern metal. Seamlessly blending metalcore, alternative metal and contemporary melodic influences, the band creates a sound that is both crushing and cinematic, equally driven by aggression and vulnerability.

The debut release marks an important milestone, presenting a collection of songs that explore themes of inner conflict, personal growth and emotional resilience. Combining massive riffs, memorable hooks and heartfelt lyricism, A Cold Paradise delivers a dynamic and emotionally charged listening experience that highlights the band's musical identity. Gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated manifesto of metal Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 , heavy metal force ACCEPT unveil the final single with a new version of "Losers and Winners!" Originally appearing on Balls to the Wall (1983), the re-rendition of the track shines with guest vocals by Hansi Kürsch, guitar by Paul Gilbert, bass by Chuck Garric, and Tommy Aldridge on drums. Marking ACCEPT's 50th anniversary, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 contains 19 re-recorded songs from the band's iconic catalogue, produced, mixed, and mastered by the legendary Zeuss, and features 50 A-list guest artists. The fourth single off of the album, "Losers and Winners," serves as further impressive proof of ACCEPT staying relevant and powerful throughout their 50-year career.

Wolf Hoffmann about "Losers and Winners":
"We've known Hansi for a long time. Funnily enough, we've never really toured together or hardly ever played at festivals together, but we've known and respected each other for many years. They've been around forever. I thought Hansi would be a cool guy for that song, and lo and behold, he did a fantastic job. I really like how much effort people put into it. Nobody phoned it in and did a half-assed job. Everyone gave it all."

German heavy metal legends ACCEPT celebrate 50 years of pure power, bringing together the scene's A-list musicians for a landmark release. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it."

ARISING EMPIRE MEDIA ALERT: New Release Just Dropped From REVNOIR — WATCH + LISTEN

French modern metalcore force REVNOIR return with their powerful new single "Fracture," a gripping anthem that channels fear, resistance and the determination to keep fighting when hope feels increasingly difficult to hold onto. The release also marks the beginning of the pre-order for the band's highly anticipated debut album, Sometimes I feel you, sometimes I don't, set for release on November 27.

Described by the band as "a collective cry of resistance: the surrounding fear, and, in spite of it all, the refusal to give up," the track captures the tension of living in a world where silence, uncertainty, and helplessness can become overwhelming.

Built around the question of whether we simply stand by or find the courage to speak up, the track moves between raw vulnerability and outright defiance. Its lyrics paint a bleak picture of fear taking hold, voices being swallowed before they can be heard and people desperately searching for better days. Yet beneath that darkness lies a powerful sense of unity. "Fracture" ultimately refuses resignation, transforming anxiety, and isolation into a collective call to stand together.

Musically, REVNOIR deliver one of their most commanding statements to date. Stunning vocals collide with intricate, virtuosic instrumentation, and colossal modern production, steadily building toward a towering and unforgettable chorus. Heavy, atmospheric and deeply emotional, "Fracture" showcases the band's ability to balance vulnerability with sheer force while pushing their distinctive take on modern metalcore further forward.

Since emerging in 2023, REVNOIR have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting new names in the French and European modern metal scene. Across their first two EPs and subsequent releases, the band have already accumulated more than 8 million streams, while their rapid rise earned them the title of Best Breakthrough Artist at Les Foudres 2025. Their growing reputation has also taken them to major stages across Europe, including Hellfest Main Stage, alongside extensive touring and festival appearances.

Their momentum has been equally evident on the live front. Following sold-out headline shows in Paris, REVNOIR have continued to expand their reach beyond France, including a European tour alongside Future Palace, proving that the intensity and emotion behind their music translate just as powerfully to the stage.

Pre-order here.

ARISING EMPIRE MEDIA ALERT: New Release Just Dropped From PLUME — WATCH + LISTEN

Rising alternative heavy act PLUME return with their striking new single "My Cortisol Face," the final release before their highly anticipated debut album Saferooms & Healing Frequencies arrives on September 25 via Arising Empire.

Blurring the lines between hyperpop shimmer, emotional metalcore and futuristic electronic production, "My Cortisol Face" captures PLUME at their most vulnerable and volatile. Glittering electronics collide with crushing guitars, ethereal clean vocals and piercing screams, creating a track that feels equally fragile, chaotic and euphoric.

Lyrically, the song dives headfirst into anxiety, distorted self perception and the exhausting battle against your own reflection. Images of glitter caught in the throat, ribs beneath paper thin skin and rehearsed smiles paint an unsettling picture of someone desperately trying to maintain the surface while everything underneath begins to fracture. The recurring question of whether this experience is a nightmare or everything they have been dreaming about sits at the emotional core of the track.

That conflict erupts in the chorus, where pain and style become almost inseparable. "My Cortisol Face" transforms inner turmoil into something strangely beautiful, balancing vulnerability with an undeniable sense of attitude and immediacy. As the song builds towards its desperate final moments, repeated questions of whether the pain will ever end underline the feeling of being trapped in an emotional freefall.

The single follows PLUME’s recent releases "Digital Waterboarding," "Furious Icon," "Angel Engine," and "A Cure For A Knife's Blade," each revealing another side of the band's rapidly evolving sonic identity. Since signing with Arising Empire earlier this year, the German four-piece has continued to establish itself as one of the most intriguing newcomers in modern alternative heavy music, combining pop sensibility with distorted guitars, synthesizers, fractured rhythms and a visual identity inspired by glam rock and contemporary digital culture.

Fronted by Pascal Pashaee alongside guitarist David Riederer, keyboardist Luka Lorch and drummer Richard Kilian, PLUME approach their music as more than a collection of songs. Their immersive live performances and carefully constructed visual world form an extension of a sound that refuses to sit comfortably within a single genre.

With their debut album Saferooms & Healing Frequencies set for release on September 25, PLUME are preparing to bring that vision into full focus. The 13-track record represents the next major step for a band increasingly determined to reshape the boundaries between pop, metalcore and forward thinking alternative music.

As the final glimpse of the album before its arrival, "My Cortisol Face" feels like a fitting statement of intent: intimate, dramatic, unpredictable and unapologetically PLUME.

ARISING EMPIRE MEDIA ALERT: New Releases Just Dropped From RESOLVE — WATCH + LISTEN

French metalcore force Resolve return with their brand new single "Spread My Ashes Into Space," marking the beginning of a bold new chapter for the band. Cinematic, crushing and deeply emotional, the track arrives alongside the announcement of their new album of the same name, Spread My Ashes Into Space" set for release on January 15. The album is available to pre-order here.

With "Spread My Ashes Into Space," Resolve push their unmistakable sound into vast new territory. Monumental riffs, atmospheric electronics and soaring melodies collide with moments of raw vulnerability, creating a track that feels both intensely personal and almost otherworldly in scale. While firmly rooted in the modern metalcore DNA that has defined the band, the single expands their sonic world with a renewed sense of ambition, depth and cinematic scope.

At its heart, "Spread My Ashes Into Space" explores the overwhelming desire to escape when the weight of reality becomes impossible to ignore. Space becomes a metaphor for absolute freedom, a place beyond expectations, pressure and noise. Against imagery of infinite darkness, solar flares and hyperspace, the song wrestles with the line between surrender and self preservation.

The band comments, "This first single and title track dive into the moment the breaking point is reached, and how that kickstarts a new perspective. The core of this song revolves around one specific question that kept coming up when writing the lyrics: "Is it a cure or an escape?"

"We've had times when the sheer weight of everything, the noise, the expectations, made me almost consider changing up my whole life and escape to a quieter, more serene place. In this song, space represents this: an ultimate silence and isolation. A place with 'no rules, no gods, just infinite black unknown.' It’s about the desperate need to find a sanctuary where you can finally be free from the weight of reality, a place where you can just exist however you see fit. This place has been harder and harder to reach for me these past few years, and we think we're not alone in that.

"Some might read the lyrics and see a dark surrender, but we want the audience to see it as written from a place of hope. It's that feeling of being an 'escape artist with no hands,' trying to find a way out when you're completely backed into a corner. Ultimately, it's a very raw admission that sometimes, the urge to disappear isn't about wanting to escape the actual world, but simply trying to save yourself from a system that feels too loud."

The title track sets the stage for what promises to be Resolve’s most expansive and emotionally charged album era yet.

Following two acclaimed albums, millions of streams, appearances at Hellfest and extensive touring alongside internationally renowned acts, the French quartet continue to establish themselves as one of modern metalcore’s most compelling voices. Heavy without sacrificing atmosphere and vulnerable without losing its intensity, "Spread My Ashes Into Space" captures Resolve at a pivotal moment, redefining their signature sound while remaining unmistakably themselves.

SHOWING TEETH Drops New "A Fate Worse Than Loneliness" EP — OUT NOW

Infiltrating the vanguard of heavy music with an uncanny and unpredictable sound like no other, acclaimed Nashville-based sonic alchemist SHOWING TEETH presents her much-anticipated debut EP, A FATE WORSE THAN LONELINESS, out now via Republic Records + Spinefarm. In tandem with the project, she opened up an online store and uncovered her first-ever official merch drop, featuring a "Bad Exchanges" camo hat, Labyrinth longsleeve shirt, and CD version of A FATE WORSE THAN LONELINESS — available here

To celebrate the EP's arrival, she also served up the music video for the new single "Make It Out" . The clip captures the uncontrolled energy of this disarmingly catchy anthem with gritty footage and an appropriately claustrophobic performance. Watch it below:

Musically, the track's glitchy riff slips into a buoyant palm-muted groove, while airy keys carry the verses. Boosted by alternately crunching and chugging distortion, SHOWING TEETH translates anxiety into a transfixing refrain as she accepts, "Maybe it's too late to pick me up…I'll throw myself back down….Even up to now, I'll tell myself, 'You'll never make it out'."

Amplifying her internal struggle aloud without shame, she fearlessly wrestles with self-defeat on the hook and pushes through with honesty and heart intact.

She teased the EP with the brutal and bludgeoning "Bad Exchanges." The latter is quickly nearing one million total streams. Plus, she delivered a chaotic music video to accompany the song. Watch it here

Earning acclaim, Revolver hailed it as "a series of noise-tastic riff swerves, ground-unsettling gravity blasts, deliciously disjointed sound effects and, of course, the ultra-violent screams and squeals of project leader and vocalist Addison." Metal Hammer named it one of "The 12 Best New Metal Songs You Need To Hear Right Now," going on to profess, "Maybe it's the frequent blast-beats, or the shrieking, grindcore like screeches, but the Nashville artist really nails a sense of frenzied mania."

The EP also boasts "Rip," which has amassed over 1 million streams and counting thus far. Revolver touted it among the "6 Best New Songs Right Now," raving: "Beyond that textual heaviness, SHOWING TEETH goes next level berserk with her feral shrieks."

This fall, she will hit the road as support to President on the band's sold-out North American Campaign 2026 for six weeks across North America. This run commences on September 4 in Nashville, TN at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and closes out on October 14 in Dallas, TX at House of Blues Dallas. President Release "BLOOD OF YOUR EMPIRE" Out Now // U.S. Tour Starts — SOLD OUT

Multi-million streaming, UK-based collective PRESIDENT are pleased to reveal BLOOD OF YOUR EMPIRE, their debut full length via Atlantic Records. Listen and stream here.

Alongside the album release, the band shares "Sleepwalker."

Listen below

The album arrives the same day the band kicks off its first-ever headline tour, which is completely sold out.

PRESIDENT, who embarked on their first-ever full U.S. tour supporting Bad Omens earlier the year, are now headlining venues across North America. The live campaigns will feature support from Showing Teeth on select dates. The tour launches tonight at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, making additional stops across the U.S in Chicago, New York, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles. and more before wrapping up in Dallas at House of Blues on October 14.

The album is truly a moment in the overall President campaign.

"Blood Of Your Empire was born out of my own struggle with existential crisis and trying to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity's relationship with faith," President says. "Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history. This album lives in the tension between those two truths. Writing it became a way for me to confront the fear, confusion, and questions I've carried for years, and turn them into something I'm truly proud of."

The album cover is a Eugène Delacroix painting, The Battle of Poitiers, which, consequently, hangs in the Louvre.

Launching in 2025 and operating under the cloak of minimalism and anonymity, PRESIDENT have been cultivating intrigue with each single and live performance. Refusing to conform to the traditional structures of genre or identity, PRESIDENT prioritize intent over image.

Traditional Heavy Metallers THE UNKNOWN Release New Album 'Graveyard of Empires' Out Now via Mission 84 Productions

Traditional thrashers THE UNKNOWN proudly release their sophomore album, 'Graveyard of Empires,' out now via Mission 84 Productions. Celebrating the launch of the new album, the band also shares their new single, "Land of the Pure," alongside an official lyric video.

The band comments on the new track:

“'Land of the Pure' is loosely inspired by the book 'Train to Pakistan' and the 1947 Partition of India and Pakistan, telling its story through the perspective of a small border village made up of people of multiple faiths. At its core, the song is a meditation on the fragility of peace, how quickly neighbors can become divided, and the human cost when that peace begins to collapse."

Musically, the track stands apart through its use of tabla and cello, with the latter performed by Dr. Joe “The Metal Cellist” from Israel. His performance, combined with the tabla and Matt Fisher’s emotional vocal delivery, gives the song a distinctly human character, while the collaboration itself quietly reflects one of the ideas at the heart of the track: that understanding and friendship can create something beautiful in a world where we can so easily be divided.

Watch the Official Lyric Video for "Land of the Pure" Below:

THE UNKNOWN is a U.S.-based heavy metal band forging a powerful blend of traditional metal and thrash. Drawing influence from bands such as Jag Panzer, Manilla Road, Anthrax, and Iron Maiden, their sound combines crushing riffs and driving rhythms with soaring melodies and commanding, emotive vocals.

Their debut album, ‘Vanishing Point,’ released through ZYX/GoldenCore Records, earned strong reviews from metal publications and fans around the world, establishing the band as a rising force in the underground heavy metal scene.

Now, THE UNKNOWN return with their new album, ‘Graveyard of Empires,’ pushing their sound even further with bigger arrangements, deeper atmosphere, and an even sharper edge. Rooted in the spirit of classic heavy metal while bringing their own modern intensity, the band continues their mission to keep true metal alive while carving out their own path within the genre.

The album's title is a conceptual statement. 'Graveyard of Empires' explores the fall not of nations, but of ideas, the collapse of peace, the erosion of the human spirit, the slow unraveling of everything we build and everything we believe in. From the battlefields of World War II to the death of civilizations that never got the chance to flourish, to the quiet question of what remains of humanity when humanity itself is no longer the only answer...

About the album, Aamir Syed comments:

"As an album, it isn't about geopolitics, but there is a running theme throughout the stories that we're telling. The empires that fall in this record are ideas, concepts, and the slow collapse of peace. The belief that we're building toward something, and then it falls apart due to greed and corruption. That's what we're mourning."

COUNTRY SPLASH KICKS OFF INAUGURAL WEEKEND IN CABO SAN LUCAS

Country Splash’s inaugural weekend is officially underway, bringing country music against the backdrop of a destination getaway to launch the first-ever multi-day beachfront country festival in Cabo, with performances from Tucker Wetmore, Dasha and more launching the three-day experience at Paradisus Los Cabos.

As guests arrived at Paradisus Los Cabos, they were welcomed by sunny skies, oceanfront views and the festival’s service-first hospitality. With the all-inclusive resort and beach open for guests to settle into the destination throughout the day, the anticipation built ahead of the evening’s Main Stage performances.

At 7 p.m., Jacob Hackworth kicked things off as the sun began to set over Cabo, performing songs from his upcoming debut EP What Took You So Long, before Dee Jay Silver arrived to keep the energy building, blending country favorites with hip-hop, house and EDM between each act, followed by Blake Whiten, whose performance included his Billboard Hot 100-charting single “Bet On That.”

Dasha then took the stage to deliver a high-energy set that included her breakout hit, “Austin,” complete with a full-band show to cap it off.

Tucker Wetmore brought the inaugural night to its peak with a set featuring fan-favorites “Wind Up Missing You,” “3, 2, 1,” and “Sunburn.”

“Great to be able to do what I love at the beach,” Wetmore enthused a half-dozen songs in. “This is officially night one of Country Splash,” he proudly exclaimed to a ready-crowd before introducing his friend and co-writer, Hackworth, to join him on “Wine Into Whiskey.” With a 90-minute set that included “doing whatever I want up here,” Wetmore took the intentionally-intimate festival crowd back with “Casino” and brought a comedic side with banter in between his cover of "Drops of Jupiter” and leading the at-capacity-crowd through Beethoven, Queen and Journey sing-alongs on piano.

As day one came to a close, Country Splash Cabo’s opening night line-up set the tone for the rest of the weekend, with its intimate setting offering the energy of a can’t-miss festival alongside the personalized experience at the heart of Country Splash.

Country Splash continues Saturday with morning wellness programming hosted by Sports Research, a daytime pool party featuring Diplo and ADHD, a sunset acoustic performance from surprise guests and evening performances from Jon Pardi, LOCASH and Zach John King.

Single day tickets are still available for Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, featuring performances from Riley Green, Cameron Whitcomb, Lauren Watkins, VAVO and more. Tickets are available to purchase HERE.

On Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, Country Splash and official wellness partner Sports Research are bringing opportunities to reset and recharge through the weekend with a Saturday morning movement and meditation session and Diplo’s Wellness Experience on Sunday. Both experiences are scheduled for 9am and are available to book through Country Splash’s concierge team.

Throughout the weekend, Sports Research will serve as Country Splash’s wellness concierge, weaving hydration, recovery and self-care into the guest experience. The interactive Recovery Lounge will feature Sports Research Hydrate Electrolytes, Vitamin D3+K2 Gummies and Vitamin C Gummies, with Hydrate also available in the Members Private Club and dedicated wellness support for participating artists. Festivalgoers will also get an exclusive first look at what’s next from Sports Research, previewing a new product ahead of its official launch.

MAD MAX Celebrate “Stories Of Destiny” Record Release With Brand-New “Dulces Falsos” Music Video

German hard rock titans MAD MAX celebrate the record release of “Stories Of Destiny” with a brand-new music video for “Dulces Falsos.” The song marks a special first in the band’s history: it is the first MAD MAX track ever recorded with Spanish lyrics and presents their classic “Piece Of Candy” in a powerful new version.

With “Dulces Falsos,” MAD MAX pay tribute to their loyal fanbase in Latin America. New lyrics by Andreas Baesler and the Spanish vocals give the song a fresh character while preserving the energy and spirit of the original.

Band mastermind Jürgen Breforth comments:
"Dulces Falsos" is the first song we ever recorded with Spanish lyrics. With this version of our classic "Piece Of Candy" we would like to say a very special thank you to all our fans in Latin America who have always stayed loyal to us and who have helped make the Mad Max comic a great success, especially in Colombia and Mexico.

Andreas Baesler has written a new and very up-to-date set of lyrics. The Spanish vocals give the song even more power, presence and raw energy. Many journalists see in "Dulces Falsos" an attitude and charisma reminiscent of bands such as HEROES DEL SILENCIO for example. That makes us very proud."

Watch the new video clip Below:

Stories Of Destiny finds MAD MAX celebrating 45 years of history while continuing to push forward with new material. Packed with powerful guitar-driven anthems, memorable melodies and timeless hard rock spirit, it combines newly recorded material, long-awaited hidden gems and collaborations with some of the most respected names in the rock and metal world. The album also introduces UK vocalist Alan Clark while welcoming original MAD MAX singer Andreas Baesler as a special guest for his first MAD MAX appearance in 45 years, creating a direct link between the band's earliest days and its present.

Founded in Münster, Germany in 1981 by guitarist, songwriter and bandleader Jürgen Breforth, MAD MAX have remained one of Europe's most enduring melodic hard rock and heavy metal acts for more than four decades. Renowned for their unmistakable guitar-driven sound, strong melodies and classic hard rock attitude, the band have built a loyal international following through countless albums, tours and festival appearances.

Reflecting on an extraordinary career while embracing the future, Stories Of Destiny is built around songs Breforth had the honor to co-write with acclaimed musicians including Sascha Gerstner (Helloween), David Readman (Pink Cream 69), Andreas Broon (The Sisters Of Mercy) and Michael Voss, known from his work with Michael Schenker. Reimagined and newly recorded in unmistakable MAD MAX fashion, the album captures both the band's musical roots and their continued evolution.

The visual world of Stories Of Destiny connects to the MAD MAX comic, created by Mexican comic artist Maestro Arturo Said. The comic tells the story of the band from its founding days in 1981 through the 1980s and up to MAD MAX’s first shows in Colombia in 2023, making the album both a musical and visual celebration of the band’s legacy.
