"'LIBERATION FRONT' was born as a concept on tour last year in Australia after we decided we wanted to make the sequel to 'Director’s Cuts.' What came out was something between that and a more pissed off brother to 'Everyone’s A Murderer.' It’s got so many things I love about the band and a bit of everything pushed to 100 with a really bleak kind of aggression that’s just reaching for your throat the entire time. Very keen to play some of these songs live and it’s an exciting chapter to add.”

Five Finger Death Punch Hit 18th No. 1 On Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart With "Eye Of The Storm"

Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse Five Finger Death Punch have earned their 18th No. 1 single on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart with their latest anthem "Eye of the Storm," which Revolver proclaimed "mixes a flurry of battering metal chugs with a sense of melody, plus Ivan Moody's pensive-but-barked lyrics hinting at fears, regrets, burdens, blame, and the search for some kind of inner peace," while Loudwire raved, "The song is a driving, furious banger that kicks off what's expected to be a new album cycle in grand fashion."

This extends the bands impressive record for holding the longest streak of consecutive No. 1 hits in the 45-year history of the chart.

The 20th Anniversary World Tour is both a celebration and a statement, honoring the band's journey from their 2005 formation and release of their debut album, The Way Of The Fist, in 2007 to global arena headliners. Indigenous solo black metal project BLACKBRAID is honored to announce an upcoming tour in EU/UK, in which the project will be supporting CONVERGE and SANGUISUGABOGG with additional support from PUPIL SLICER. The trek will kick off on November 12, 2026 in München (DE) and will conclude 10 days later in London (UK). AGNOSTIC FRONT Announce Co-headline Tour With ANGEL DU$T This Fall

NYC's hardcore pioneers AGNOSTIC FRONT are uniting with ANGEL DU$T to embark on an explosive co-headline East Coast tour this fall. Florida's STEP 2 THIS join the line-up as support, with TURNSTILE filling this role on Sept 29 in Raleigh, NC.

GÅTE Announce New Album Sigil

Gåte are one of the most distinct bands to come out of Norway. Starting in the early 2000s, the band broke new ground by mixing Nordic folk tradition and modern rock. Their debut album entered at #1 on the Norwegian Albums chart and won them the Spellemann Award (Norwegian Grammy) for Best Newcomer. They represented Norway in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest and toured throughout Europe in 2025 with Leprous.

Now, after starting 2026 by signing with Season of Mist, Gåte are officially announcing their sixth album, Sigil. Powered by Hardanger fiddle and electric guitar, “Oskorsreia” conjures the thrilling chase of the Nordic Wild Hunt.

“We are dying to immerse people in the soundtrack of ‘Oskorsreia’, aka The Wild Hunt, this entourage of ghouls and half-deads, eating, consuming but never to be satiated”, Gåte says. “We played this song live throughout Europe and it is already a live favorite”.

Sigil is Gåte’s most ambitious album yet. The album recounts ancient legend and folk narratives to ask what survives once illusion falls away. Its lead single, “Oskorsreia” centers on the ancient Nordic legend of the Wild Hunt. A spectral procession of the dead sweep across the landscape, seducing the living into joining its endless procession. The song brings this story to life with elements of Nordic folk and modern rock.

The video for “Oskorsreia” was filmed during a night in the forests of Trondheim. Its procession of ghouls, blind horses, and half-dead beings becomes a mirror for a contemporary world propelled by consumption, distraction and desire that circles endlessly without resolution.

Sigil was recorded at MagnuStudio and Øra Studio and produced by Kristian Fanavoll Tvedt and Magnus Børmark. Lead single "Sannsiger," released in April 2026, featured guest vocals from Maria Franz of Season of Mist labelmates Heilung.

Gåte’s upcoming fall tour will bring the band to nine cities across Norway, plus one date in Istanbul, Turkey. During this ten date run, they will perform “Oskorsreia” and other new songs from Sigil, along with fan favorites from their celebrated discography.

Sigil is GÅTE's first album for Season of Mist and the most internationally minded chapter of their catalogue to date. Across ten tracks, the record moves through ancient legend and folk narrative to ask what survives once illusion falls away: enchantment, hunger, prophecy, mortality, and finally renewal. “Oskorsreia” conjures the Wild Hunt as a mirror for modern consumption and excess, while “Strandvaskar” draws on coastal burial superstition to stage a quiet exchange between the living and the dead. The album's emotional weight builds toward “Mi Jord”, where the earth itself seems to withdraw on shifting currents, before resolving in “Jostedalsrypa”, a song rooted in the true story of a child who survived alone in the mountains after the Black Death. Musically, Sigilthreads Hardanger fiddle, nyckelharpa, and hurdy-gurdy through programmed electronics, heavy guitar, and Gunnhild Sundli's voice, with Maria Franz of HEILUNG joining on lead single "Sannsiger." The record never treats tradition as artefact. Old material is reworked rather than preserved, carrying inherited stories into something urgent and present.

L.A.-Based Emo Supergroup Car Underwater Release Live Visual For "Heaven In Hindsight" + More

Car Underwater are a new, LA-based supergroup fueled by the emotionally-charged sounds of their formative years. Comprised of vocalist Max Epstein(Photographic Memory, Wisp, Jane Remover), guitarist Sonny Foster, drummerZach Capitti-Fenton (Photographic Memory, Wisp), bassist Nolan Nunes(Ghostmane) and Australian producer, keyboardist, and vocalist Darcy Baylis(Ninajirachi, daine, After), the band taps into the nostalgia receptors via inspiration from third wave emo icons such as From First To Last, Underoath, and Thursday while exploring thoroughly contemporary song structures and techniques to bring sounds from the past firmly into the future. To celebrate the forthcoming shows, the band has unveiled a brand new live visual for "Heaven In Hindsight," filmed in Los Angeles. With highly anticipated support shows at Bring Me The Horizon's live premiere of their debut album Count Your Blessings this month in Manchester, Car Underwater have announced a number of performances across select UK venues. Performing tracks across their debut EP and providing a taste of what's to come, the band will take to London's Barfly (formerly Camden Assembly) for their first EU performance on July 7, before a stop at Bristol's The Croft on the 8th, Leeds’ legendary Boom venue on the 9th before the tour is punctuated by two shows alongside Bring Me The Horizon at Manchester's B.E.C. The Joy Thieves rip it with 'I'll Be Your Hammer' from 'Apocalypse Pending' feat. Chris Connelly - soundtracking the end of the world as we know it

Chicago-based industrial-rock-punk-experimental supergroup The Joy Thievespresents 'I’ll Be Your Hammer' from their full-length album 'Apocalypse Pending', released via Armalyte Industries. As with the album's lead singles 'No Anchor' and ‘The Wrong End of Your Rifle’, the accompanying video was created by Lumbra Productions.

A rallying cry to inspire people to stand up to fascism as it quickly spreads around the globe, the song’s title is a direct response to ‘I’ll Be Your Mirror’ by The Velvet Underground, and also alludes to the quote “Art is not a mirror, it’s a hammer” by the trailblazing Scottish documentarian John Grierson.

Many instantly recognize the iconic voice of Chris Connelly (Fini Tribe, Revolting Cocks, Ministry, Pigface), who shares, “While ‘I’ll Be Your Mirror’ by The Velvet Underground is an introspective plea from one lover to another, ‘I’ll Be Your Hammer’ is written from the perspective of an individual standing up to a fascist regime. The more you suppress our rights, the stronger I get”.

Highly influenced by the hip hop music production techniques of the 80’s and early 90’s, 'Apocalypse Pending' finds the Joy Thieves Productions team of Dan Milligan and James Scott redefining themselves by utilizing a sample-heavy production to forge elements of industrial, rock, experimental, punk, hip hop, metal, and freeform jazz. But instead of sampling the music of others, they draw inspiration in the talents of the band’s 80+ other members, resulting in an incendiary sound all their own.

While The Joy Thieves combine a wide array of musicians in order to craft their signature sound, 'Apocalypse Pending' stretches this concept to its limits, turning their entire song-creation process upside down. Instead of members contributing songs, as before, they meticulously gathered hundreds of unrelated recorded musical fragments from their fellow Joy Thieves, then painstakingly reconstructed brand new pieces of music from these fragments, ultimately creating a fresh and innovative sound.

'Apocalypse Pending' captures the zeitgeist with such precision while touching on the decay of the individual and exploring the isolation of our modern world. Seething with frustration and rage at one moment, and coolly delivering beat poetry the next, this album uses a densely layered, sonic collage as the perfect vehicle to deliver the band’s violently anti-fascist sentiments.



“’I’ll Be Your Hammer’ takes root in the soil laid down by our punk and industrial ancestors. More than any other song on the record, it deviates from the break beat inspired backbone and into somewhat more accessible, albeit aggressive and discordant territory. We crafted this song to relentlessly hit the listener in the face with punk rock attitude and providing a recklessly speeding vehicle for Chris Connelly’s brilliant, seething lyrics," says James Scott.

The band crafts their cohesive signature sound from the contributions of its ever-growing 80+ roster of members, drawn from a diverse range of genres, including industrial, rock, punk, darkwave, hip hop and experimental music. Created by “all of us, and yet, none of us”, this is a sound all their own, their music aggressive, yet precise; confrontational, but refined; and harsh, yet melodic.

Today, guitar virtuoso John 5 releases the new single “You Me And The Devil Makes Three” from his latest solo album Ghost, produced and mixed by Barry Pointer. The bluesy song, featuring extra percussion from Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, also gets the music video treatment with a visual piece following John 5 around the world on some of his latest solo tour dates. Eli Young Band launched a new era with their latest album Strange Hours, available now. As the band’s first independently released album via UnLevel Records, Strange Hours comprises 13 songs, all co-written as a band or with long-trusted collaborators, and introduces a new chapter driven by experience and a million miles of wisdom, from a band of brothers who grew from hometown heroes into globe-trotting, chart-topping pioneers still very much in their prime. Eric Arjes and Jimmy Robbins produced 12 of the 13 tracks, while “Bad Luck” was produced by Julian Raymond and Scott Borchetta.
 
Seeking both a fresh start and a return to their roots with this project, the never-changing lineup of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones and Chris Thompson sought out Panhandle House Studio in their hometown of Denton, Texas – the birthplace of the college friends-turned-bandmates’ 2005 debut album Level, which spawned fan-favorites such as “Small Town Kid” and set the stage for the numerous hits that have followed in the 20 years since.

From Ashes to New are taking a firm stance against bullying as they drop their new radio single "Die For You" from their recently released album REFLECTIONS, out now via Better Noise Music. "Die For You" serves as the follow up to "Drag Me," the band's first-ever No. 1 at rock radio. It was a career high moment. 

Also, "Die For You” has amassed over 11M streams globally and is outpacing many songs currently in top 10 at Active Rock chart.

From Ashes to New then experienced yet another moment — this one viral — that has demonstrated the depth of their connection with their fans. The band posted a video of one of their fans singing "Die For You" at a show, and noticed bullying comments being made towards the fan and immediately leapt to her defense. Brandyberry doubled down and addressed this behavior from the stage, reinforcing the fact that the band will not tolerate such antics. The band also reached out to the fan and promised her lifetime guest lists to their shows. 

"All I could see was a beautiful soul having a beautiful moment," says Brandyberry. "As a father of a son who dealt with some of these same things, there is no way I would let that behavior go unaddressed. "I will always use my platform to fight back against assholes, especially when it comes to our fans," declares Case. "Growing up, I was the scrawny undersized kid with red hair so I know what it's like to be targeted. "Dominion" is the latest single release to land from CURSED AWAKENING and continues their narrative concept surrounding a fresh born soul navigating its new existence in a dystopian landscape. The track emerges early from the void ahead of the forthcoming full-length, Path Of A Soul, set to arrive later this year.

Thematically, "Dominion" delves into the darkness as the new soul contemplates ending its own life in order to escape the hellish realm in which it inhabits. However, it chooses to persevere and have 'dominion' over it's own future and ignore the path destiny has already built. Over the course of the track list, the fresh born soul stumbles through self-discovery and self-destruction.

Legendary English rock supergroup ASIA are pleased to announce that their new studio album, 'Indigo,' will be released on November 6, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

“The first track off the album is a high-power energy piece, with a few elements of prog trickery but retaining the accessible chorus block, which was always a signature of ASIA’s music from the very beginning. Harry and I started working on this as one of the early ideas that seemed to come together very organically. Virgil’s dynamic and innovative drum parts drive the piece along, while John’s soaring guitars keep the momentum. Harry’s vocals are commanding, and my keyboard parts hold the wall of sound together. It’s a song of great optimism, mainly about looking forward to the future and travelling ‘into the light’. Play it loud!”

More than four decades after redefining the sound of melodic progressive rock, ASIA returns in 2026 with 'Indigo' - a studio album that bridges past, present, and future with remarkable grace and authenticity.

Now featuring Geoffrey Downes alongside an inspired new lineup - Virgil Donati, John Mitchell, and Harry Whitley - ASIA steps confidently into a new era while honoring the legacy that made them one of the most iconic supergroups of all time.

Geoff Downes described the genesis of the album:

“The initial writing period began in 2015, following the release of our previous album 'Gravitas' in 2014. John Wetton and I started putting our ideas together, aiming to get into the studio once more. It was with great sadness that John became seriously ill. During this time, we had put on hold our plans, and sadly, John passed away before we could continue and complete it. So, it was always in my mind that at some point it would be a shame not to finish off some of these songs and finally release them as part of an ASIA album.

“In 2023, when the tribute concert for John took place, I was so encouraged by the response to ASIA’s music that I viewed this as the perfect opportunity to re-establish not only the band, but also to reunite with our long-time supportive label, Frontiers, paving the way for us to get back in the studio”, he continued.

Downes also added:

“So, ASIA was back in the room, so to speak, and we were very fortunate to have recruited Virgil Donati and John Mitchell, both of whom had worked extensively with John before, as well as our new vocalist and bassist, Harry Whitley. The tours followed to great success throughout 2024 and 2025, and finally, we sat down towards the end of last year to record the album. Working with these fine musicians was a great privilege and the music just seemed to flow”.

“The album was really a joy to make. I forged a close writing relationship with Harry, and I felt how great it was to be working with someone who had very similar musical influences and taste once again, just as I did with John. I feel that this is one of our best albums to date. The songs are deep in musicality, with a powerful and original performance, dynamics and strong lyrical undertones – it’s an album that hopefully our fans will widely appreciate and support our cause to put ASIA back on the map. Enjoy the ride!” he concluded.

Recorded throughout 2025 and produced by Downes and the band, with mixing and mastering handled by John Mitchell, 'Indigo' captures the unmistakable spirit of ASIA while injecting it with renewed vitality and purpose.

At the heart of the album lies an emotional connection to the band’s history. 'Indigo' includes some of the final compositions written by the late John Wetton - “Tattoo Indigo (Parts 2 & 3)” and “Chesapeake Bay”- imbuing the record with a profound sense of continuity and tribute. The presence of Wetton is further felt through the extraordinary vocal performance of Harry Whitley, whose tone and phrasing evoke a striking and deeply moving resemblance to the band’s original voice.

Musically, 'Indigo' stands as a natural continuation of ASIA’s acclaimed 21st-century output, while subtly weaving in the sonic DNA of the band’s classic early albums. From soaring melodies to richly layered arrangements, the album delivers the signature blend of accessibility and musicianship that defined hits like “Heat Of The Moment” and “Only Time Will Tell."

The album also features special guest appearances that elevate its scope: Steve Howecontributes acoustic guitar to the evocative “Chesapeake Bay”, while Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) delivers a powerful performance on the bonus track “Tattoo Indigo (Part 3)."

At its peak, the label served as a launching pad for some of the genre's most integral acts, earning a reputation for having an ear for artists who were ahead of their time.

The revival marks a new chapter for the storied imprint, with a renewed focus on discovering and developing boundary-pushing artists. In keeping with that mission, Ferret Music is proud to announce its first two signings: BORE and Wounded Touch.

Reflecting on the label's return, founder Carl Severson is thrilled to share:

"I started Ferret as a way to be more a part of hardcore. My friends all had talent and were in a band (Endeavor, Ferret 01) and I wanted to do more than carry things to contribute to what they were doing. It was a passion that turned into a life and into a career. For the vast majority of its initial existence I worked with my friends, worked with bands we loved listening to and it was just honestly an adventure. We grew and eventually saw behind the curtain and ventured beyond it. Things changed. My friends didn’t, and we still love listening… So here we are."

Representing the label's first wave of signings, guitarist Danny Kopij of BORE shares:

"Ferret was a label we always looked up to. From Cult Classic to Hot Damn! to A Great Artist to Versions and so on, the music that Carl, Rick and everyone else curated over the years became intertwined with our musical DNA. So to get to be a part of the Ferret family, let alone to get to be here for the revival is nothing short of the honor of a lifetime. Looking forward to this next chapter of our band and to get to do it Ferret Style."

Echoing that sentiment, vocalist Nick Holland of Wounded Touch shares:

"Any time someone has asked us “who would your ideal label be to sign to,” we always would include Ferret to not only be smartasses, but out of legitimate sincerity as they were always the holy grail label of our youth. Most of our childhoods were shaped by the Ferret catalogue, so we’d have been championing this return out of sheer excitement regardless. But to instead get to be directly involved as boots on the ground for the return of Ferret and count ourselves among the pantheon of genre defining records released under that name is a validation that can’t be bought, traded or diminished. We’ll do everything in our power to earn the privilege of being asked to be a part of it and to be at the forefront of this return."

Founded by Carl Severson, vocalist of NORA, Ferret Music established itself as a key player in the underground metal and hardcore scenes early on, signing and releasing records by the likes of Converge, Disembodied, Killswitch Engage, ZAO, and Every Time I Die, to be followed by Poison the Well, In Flames, The Devil Wears Prada, and more. Built from within the DIY community, the label earned trust through a hands-on, artist-first approach that prioritized long term development over short term momentum.

Now operating with that same ethos, Ferret Music returns at a time when heavy music is once again thriving at a grassroots level that is driven by community, discovery, and a renewed appetite for authenticity. With Severson back at the helm, the label is focused on cultivating a new generation of artists who push boundaries while staying rooted in the spirit that defined Ferret Music's early years.

Alongside Ferret Music's return, Severson will continue his work with Good Fight, which remains active under the Good Fight Management banner in partnership with Ethan Harrison. The company continues to represent a strong and growing roster including Great American Ghost, Denial of Life, Johnny Booth, Heavy Hitter, and Your Spirit Dies, among others. Good Fight continues to stand as a key force in today's heavy music landscape, operating in parallel with Ferret Music's next chapter.

To mark a triumphant return, Ferret Music is launching a series of vinyl releases that revisit key titles from its catalog while beginning to fold in select releases from Good Fight Music, marking a broader evolution of the label's catalog moving forward.

Among the first wave are two landmark Ferret Music titles, the first being Remembering Never's "God Save Us", available on vinyl for the first time with its original artwork and an additional track, arriving in celebration of the album's 20th anniversary and honoring the legacy of Peter "Mean Pete" Kowalsky. It will be followed by Torn Apart's "The Fifty-Ninth Session" EP, originally only available on CD, newly remixed and remastered by guitarist Drew Lamond and pressed to vinyl for the first time as a one-sided 12 inch.

Also included are two releases originally issued via Good Fight Music, marking the beginning of select titles transitioning into the Ferret Music catalog.

Old Wounds' "Suffering Spirit" returns as a special anniversary pressing, bringing the long sold-out release back into circulation and reaffirming its place as one of the most vital releases in modern metallic hardcore, capturing the band's evolution into a darker, more haunting sound. Rounding out the releases, Racetraitor's "Creation and the Timeless Order of Things" arrives with vocal additions from various figures across the scene (Dennis Lyxzén of Refused, Tim Kinsella of Joan of Arc/Cap'n Jazz, Stan Liszewaki of Terminal Nation, Sanket Lama of Chepang), as the band reemerges for a run of live dates this summer.

ABOUT BORE

For decades, Long Island has served as a breeding ground for innovative hardcore and heavy music, providing a launchpad for everyone from Vision Of Disorder and Glassjaw to Taking Back Sunday, Backtrack, and many more. Bore certainly carry the torch for the area, but they also manage to leave a mark like no other. That mark is imprinted with face-stomping force by their inimitable and inventivehybrid of hardcore, metal, alternative, and experimental music. The Long Island, NY quartet—Branden Gallagher [vocals], Danny Kopij [guitar], Sid Valiquette [bass], and Fernando Morales [drums]—injectchaotic, yet confessional vocals into a blast of technically adroit riffing, off-kilter rhythms, andclaustrophobic soundscapes. Bore first emerged in 2018 co-founded by Branden and Danny. Over the ensuing years, they canvased the East Coast on successive tours and built a national audience. They dropped the Bore EP [2019], Bore II EP [2020], New York Split [2021] with Utmost, and This Will Not End Well [2022] split with Crisis Actor. By perceiving Bore through a boundless prism, the guys allowed the music to live, breathe, and grow organically into a signature style on their 2025 full-length debut LP, Feral—produced by Adam Cichocki [Gatherers, Soul Blind, Kaonashi]. KNOTFEST touted Feral among “The Best Albums of 2025,” hailing it as “hard to pin down and impossible to ignore.” No Clean Singingraved, “You should make time to give Feral a spin ASAP, or else you’re going to risk missing out on one the best new surprises of the year.” Signing to Ferret Music in 2026, Bore embody a boundary-breaking spirit in everything they do with more to come.

ABOUT WOUNDED TOUCH

Wounded Touch sonically react to the false promises of a fallen world. Rather than recoil in the face of a flawed system, the Michigan-bred band snap back at it with pulverizing and piercing metalcore provocations punctuated by elegiac musings, unpredictable instrumentation, and screams abrasive enough to break the spell of any nightmare. Like an exposed nerve, even the most tender emotion screeches to life from their storm of detuned guitars, noise-drenched distortion, guttural vocals, and urgent rhythms. The quintet—Nick Holland [vocals], Kyle Maddock [guitar], Mike Poshedly[guitar], Dan Horn [bass], and Alex Larson [drums]—continue to respond to society’sdarkness through the ultimate act of defiance: creation. Miller of Still Remains. They have also packed venues as a headliner in addition to performing at Furnace Fest, Warped Tour, and beyond. Midwest roots and Nick’s day job as a firefighter paramedic for Detroit Fire further distinguished the collective within the realm of heavy music. Now, Wounded Touch take another natural step musically and thematically on their 2026 EP, They Promised Eden (Vol. 1), and more to come under their recently minted deal with Ferret Music.

Ferret Music: Building Bands, Not Brands

When the lines between hardcore, metal, and punk coalesced into something fresh and ferocious, connected by an underground network of passionate, diehard counterculture creatives, Ferret Musicemerged as a leading independent voice championing bold, diverse, and invigorating heavy bands.  

Founded in a New Jersey bedroom by Carl Severson and built organically alongside like-minded workhorses like Rick Barnhart and Matthew “Portland” Hay, Ferret was more than a business. A heavy music cornerstone, Ferret put people and passion before profits while backing some of the scene’s most influential acts. The principle was simple: build the bands first, and the label will follow.

Ferret's early years were scrappy and hands-on. The label grew out of hardcore basement shows and 7-inch culture, where trust was earned through action. Ferret treated its artists as allies, not adversaries, and that commitment fostered loyalty, which in turn built an unstoppable roster that helped reshape the genre.

Ferret became a launching pad for several artists who would go on to define metalcore, hardcore, and beyond. Ferret released the self-titled debut by Killswitch Engage in 2000, and Carl personally introduced the band to Roadrunner Records, where they went on to sell platinum albums and singles.

Ferret was also the first label home for Foxy Shazam, a major part of James Gunn’s DC Universe. Ferret was an early supporter of Ice Nine Kills, who went on to tour with Metallica, earn a gold single, and contribute original No. 1 rock songs to massive horror franchises like Scream and Terrifier.

One of Ferret’s defining relationships was with Every Time I Die, who became a Vans Warped Tour staple, co-headlined with Bring Me The Horizon, and graced the covers of Kerrang! and AltPress.

The label's A&R instinct was sharp, but more importantly, it was persistent. Ferret gave bands room to grow, find their sound, and build their audiences organically. There were no gimmicks, no shortcuts, no manufactured hype. Just great music, hard work, and a label that showed up when it mattered. This attitude also attracted established heavy hitters. In Flames, The Devil Wears Prada, Poison The Well, Madball, Shadows Fall, and Zao all aligned with the label for crucial releases.

These partnerships were built on mutual respect. Ferret didn't chase names; it worked with artists who shared its values. The result was a cohesive catalog that spanned subgenres and styles, from early releases by Converge and The Bronx to Martyr AD, Misery Signals, and Boys Night Out. 

Ferret releases carry a signature ethos: authenticity, intensity, and a refusal to compromise. 30 years after its founding, Ferret Music returns in 2026, propelled by the same ethos, creativity, and passion. Most importantly, it’s back in the hands of the people who built it. Carl and Rick are curating a new roster of bands that embody the label's historic strengths while pushing the sound into the future.

Ferret's return arrives at a moment when the scene it helped build is experiencing a resurgence. House shows are thriving again. Bands are finding audiences without major-label machinery. Vinyl is back. The infrastructure is stronger than ever, with international distribution and innovative approaches to traditional and modern release formats. Yet at its core, Ferret remains a scrappy, artist-first operation. With a DIY spirit, determination, and loyalty to artists, Ferret Music matters more than ever.
