DAWN OF SOLACE Unleash Crushing New Single "Invitation" From Upcoming Album "Affliction Vortex"!

Finnish melancholic metal heavyweights DAWN OF SOLACE have dropped their crushing new track, "Invitation", taken from the forthcoming full-length album, "Affliction Vortex". Due for release on February 14th via Noble Demon, "Affliction Vortex" promises to be a dark and captivating journey straight into the depths of Nordic melancholy.

Following the first two singles "Murder" and "Fortress", "Invitation" is another powerful statement that showcases the band's signature blend of heavy riffs and haunting melodies.

Mastermind Tuomas Saukkonen (WOLFHEART, BEFORE THE DAWN) comments on the track: "Invitation is a crushingly heavy and beautiful song at least from the writers point of view. Sometimes a song and lyrics are born like a stream of thought and with effortless creation but once all is done and you hear the song as a complete piece of art it ties a knot inside you that you struggle to open even after dozens of times of listening and even speaking certain parts of lyrics remains unpleasant."

Listen to "Invitation" below.

Formed in 2005 as Tuomas Saukkonen's creative outlet, DAWN OF SOLACE quickly established itself with their debut album, "The Darkness" (2006). Despite a hiatus due to legal complications, the band's loyal fanbase remained unwavering, keeping the flame alive.

A triumphant return came in 2019 with the signing to Noble Demon. This partnership revitalized DAWN OF SOLACE, leading to two successful full-length albums - "Waves" (2020) and "Flames of Perdition" (2022) - alongside an unplugged EP. In early 2024, the band entered the studio, determined to craft their most versatile album yet.

"Affliction Vortex" will be coming out on February 14th via Noble Demon in CD, vinyl LP, and digital formats, and is available for pre-order at THIS LOCATION

DAWN OF SOLACE are:
Tuomas Saukkonen - Drums, guitars, bass and growling vocals

Mikko Heikkilä - Clean and growling vocals

Saku Moilanen - Keys
Jukka Salovaara - Guitar solos

SARCATOR Shares New Single, "The Deep Ends," New Album 'Swarming Angels and Flies' out TODAY

2025 is already a premier year for blackened thrash metal: Swedish rising force SARCATOR is now releasing its third full-length, 'Swarming Angels & Flies,' via Century Media Records! Stream the album HERE.

Upon announcing the signing to the label back in July, the young band released three striking, powerful, and raw singles that kept the anticipation for this record high. Now, 'Swarming Angels & Flies' is available in its full length. Across eight, grotesque and utterly venomous tracks, the band have deftly blended the wide-eyed extremity of their debut album with the inspirational musicality of their second work 'Alkahest,' while playing everything with more intensity than ever before. It is a record that surely raises the bar for face-flaying extreme metal. Both deliriously melodic and mercilessly brutal - 'Swarming Angels & Flies' is the most dangerously potent record the Swedens have made to date.

To celebrate, the band is now sharing a visualizer for the single "The Deep Ends," which can be found below.

Singer and guitarist Mateo Tervonen comments on the album, “If anyone has ever wondered how our intensity playing live would sound captured on a record, this is the one. There is no question that it’s our most intense, brutal and rawest creation yet, so those who enjoy those elements of our sound will not be disappointed! We worked a lot on the dynamics, so we are sure that this album will have something for everyone. It's not really a genre album and we like to keep it that way.”

With the tracks "Swarming Angels & Flies," “Comet of End Times” and “Where the Void Begins” released prior to the album launch, “The Deep Ends” holds a special place on this record, showcasing Sarcator’s skill in terms of songwriting with the track sounding both raw and yet defined by each second while combining both worlds of rock and extreme metal.

Regarding the track, the band explains,

"'The Deep Ends' stands as a strong representative of the traditional rock essence of our sound that we incorporated with our previous album ('Alkahest' 2022). It's all about the groove and rhythm in this one, hand in hand with epic-driven arrangements. Everything with our own blackened edge to it that has been the common ground for every SARCATOR song so far. With this one we wanted to push everything forward in combining traditional rock music with extreme metal vocals and expression and of course trying to make it sound organically together.”

Sarcator’s “Swarming Angels & Flies” sets the bar high for the upcoming album in terms of speed, heaviness and pure desire to see the song unfold live. Starting off like an explosion, the song delivers a sonic blast hurling the audience straight into a fire pit with raw, untamed energy. The album is now available for pre-order in various formats HERE.

At a juvenile age of 14-20, Sarcator released their first demo tape, “Visions of Purgatory”, via the American label Redefining Darkness Records in 2019. Just two years later the quadrumvirate got nominated for best rock/metal album for the Swedish music award P3 Guld with their 2020’s self-titled debut release for the same label. After releasing their 2nd album, “Alkahest”, via Black Lion Records in 2022, Sarcator finally got a proper chance to play live, captivating crowds with their intense, blackened live shows.

With their current line-up fully committed to the band despite their young age (all members are between 19 and 25) it was time for them to record their third album, which still features previous guitarist Emil Eriksson. Shortly after signing a new worldwide deal with Century Media Records and heading out on a debut European tour supporting Hellripper and Cloak, Sarcator will be releasing 'Swarming Angels & Flies' on January 17, 2025.

This album marks the most intense, brutal and rawest creation yet for the band. It is a remarkably mature and sophisticated piece of work, from mercurial musicians who are only in their early 20’s, and still at the beginning of their creative journey. Across eight, grotesque and utterly venomous tracks, Sarcator have deftly blended the wide-eyed extremity of their debut album with the inspirational musicality of their second record “Alkahest”, while playing everything with more intensity than ever before. Both deliriously melodic and mercilessly brutal: “Swarming Angels & Flies” is the most dangerously potent record the Swedens have made to date.

Sarcator explains about the record and its creation process, “We wanted to highlight the most aggressive and extreme parts of us, but we still wanted to work with dynamics, so you still have elements of classic rock and post-punk, which we started experimenting with on the last record. There is no question that it’s our most intense, brutal, and rawest creation yet - It's not really a genre album and we like to keep it that way."

With plenty of live activity in support of the upcoming album, Sarcator are already at the forefront of an emergent, highly determined new generation of Scandinavian extreme metal bands and ready to take the rest of the world by storm soon too.

AU's Windwaker Share Video for New Song "Arcane" From "HYPERVIOLENCE" Expansion Pack

Australia's WINDWAKER — vocalist Liam Guinane, guitarist Justin Keurntjes, bassist Indey Salvestro, drummer Chris Lalic, and synths/samples specialist Connor Robins — released HYPERVIOLENCE last summer via Fearless Records. The band also crashed domestic shores for their first-ever U.S. tour this summer, supporting Northlane. It was truly a smashing success where Windwaker won the audience over each and every night!

The band is dropping the HYPERVIOLENCE EXPANSION PACK deluxe record on February 14. Pre-order it here.

The EXPANSION PACK will include three new tracks, plus other surprises.

They share the video for "Arcane." Watch it below.

"'Arcane' encapsulates the emotions and inner battles when faced with moments of uncertain change," Guinane shares. "Written early on in my journey joining as Windwaker's vocalist, the song explores the push and pull of self-doubt and determination, resulting in an anthemic track embracing the weight of new beginnings and forging a path forward."

It's a fearlessly dynamic track that steadily builds its tension throughout, leading to a colossal breakdown and a torrent of riffs and screams. The song also highlights the band's effortless incorporation of synths and hip-hop cadences into its ballistic hard rock acrobatics. It also features a singalong chorus that will bellow in the crowds of all future Windwaker gigs.

Windwaker previously shared the visualizer for "Apathy." Watch and listen here.

Shattering all restraint, Windwaker tear at the seams of their sonic boundaries, refining and finessing their craft into something truly unique. Concocting an unsuspecting recipe of electro-charged violence, sickly sweet pop hooks, bouncing hip-hop moments and slick riffage, the charismatic quintet move towards exciting new territory with each new release. And HYPERVIOLENCE is the summit of their efforts.

Windwaker will return to the U.S. for their second-ever tour of the market this coming winter with fellow Aussies Make Them Suffer. All dates are below.

Emerging out of Melbourne, Victoria, the Australian outfit has cultivated a dedicated and passionate fanbase, amassing millions of digital streams since their inception in 2017. Last July's release, "SIRENS," has cracked over 5 million Spotify streams in just a few months time, and saw the band travel across the nation in celebration on the Love In The Dark Tour with Caskets (UK) and alt., selling out nearly every date along the way.

The band's debut album Love Language was released in 2022 via Fearless Records and Cooking Vinyl, demonstrated an unpredictable and undeniable exploration of love across 12 tracks. Windwaker translate their electric and eclectic energy on record to the live stage, with JB Hi-Fi's STACK Magazine last year reviewing: "From full-on mosh to sensitive slowdance, the five-piece delivered a propulsive statement on the status of modern metalcore." The band have carved their name into the core of Australia's alternative music community and have toured alongside some of metal's most favored acts — Beartooth (US), I Prevail (US), Motionless In White (US), Enter Shikari (UK), Caskets (UK), Creeper (UK), Northlane, and more.

US-Argentinian indie-pop duo AEROLINEA present debut album 'All We Need' & launch South American tour

Indie pop duo Aerolinea presents thei'All We Need' album, released via My Long Wknd Records. This debut eight-track offering also sees a guest appearance by Failure drummer Kellii Scott. With passionate tandem lyrics, intertwining guitars and rhythms that sometimes groove and sometimes surprise, Aerolinea crafts a sound designed for romantics and misfits, for late nights and strange places.

Aerolinea is made up of Argentinian artist Victoria Real and Eric Weissinger of Atlanta dream-gaze duo I Am a Rocketship - both songwriters, vocalists and multi-instrumentalists. This is the first time for either musician to collaborate with someone else in fulfilling all of these roles simultaneously.

What began in April 2023 with an Instagram message led to a year of file sharing and meet ups in Florida and Argentina. The two met the pandemic thanks to a chance meeting while performing for the NMER Music Festival (organised by No Me Escucho Records) - a spark that planted the seed for what is now Aerolinea.

The sharing - of feelings, sounds, lyrics, and roles - comes across in the way the songs move, straddling changing rhythms and intertwining guitar lines. At times the album ventures into art-rock territory, before arcing back into stripped-down grooves. This is an album driven by lyrics of love, longing, and dreams, Real's and Weissinger's voices blending and then separating, building tension and then bringing release.

Victoria Real honed her musical skills under the tutelage of King Crimson guitar legend Robert Fripp, first as a Guitar Craft student and later performing with the League of Crafty Guitarists. She has released four albums as a solo artist with a fifth album in production. In 2021, she received the “Artist Revelation Rock of the Year” award at the Cordoba Entertainment Awards (Premios CIEyA) and was nominated a “Artist of the Year” and “Rock Artist of the Year” in 2023 and 2024.

As half of I Am a Rocketship, Eric Weissinger has released five albums and an EP. Before that, he was bassist for Anne Richmond Boston (DB Recs). As bassist, guitarist and singer in various  projects, he has opened for numerous notable bands, including The Black Crowes, James, The Wedding Present, Cracker and Portastatic.

The duo also presents their new video for 'Nervous', about which Eric Weissinger says, ''Nervous' is a different way of describing feeling alone. We need connections, and when you’re missing a connection, you start to doubt yourself, and not feel complete. You worry. The song is more about the subject’s emotions, and you don’t know anything about who they miss."

Victoria Real adds, "Nervous is the feeling we wanted to express here. Like a hunch that something is out of place. We put music and lyrics to it to evoke that feeling and thereby also evoke instant relief when expressed and channeled in this song".

Earlier, Aerolinea shared their debut single 'What Moves You', a dreamy track that oscillates between minimalistic pensiveness and intense euphoria for a sonic journey that is worth the flight. Its dramatic video was directed by renowned cinematographer Nico Purdía.

As of November 28, the 'All We Need' album is available on fine digital platforms, including Bandcamp,  via My Long Wknd Records. Aerolinea will be touring Argentina, Chile and Brazil in the new year, kicking off at Buenos Aires' Bar Carnal on January 11.

UK alt-pop artist SICKY releases 'Slide' single on the gritty reality of a personal struggle

British indie alt-pop artist SICKY presents his new single 'Slide', which captures the gritty reality of a difficult experience, involving the relapse into harmful behaviour and the painful aftermath. Featuring Jen Bone (Project Blues Band) on double bass, this is a raw and powerful exploration of a deeply personal and relatable struggle previewing SICKY's new album 'Troubled Delight'.

SICKY is the solo project of Mick Butler, whose brand of melodic Britpop-infused indie rock spells good news for fans of Beck, Supergrass and early Blur. Originally from the Black Country region of England, he is now based in Shropshire.

'Slide' follows the lead track 'I'm Happy If You're Happy', an upbeat affair exploring temptation and the art of winning over another.... of all the possibilities if the bait is pitched right.

"This is a song about falling off the wagon. Going on a huge session and suffering the consequences. Nightmares, cold sweats, a hangover from hell and the wondering why in the world you did it to yourself. The video covers this perfectly I think. 'Slide' features the double bass skills of Jen Bone, who also played on the first single 'I’m Happy If You’re Happy'. I’d like to think the Soggy Bottom Boys would approve of the vibe on this track," says Mick Butler.

SICKY's forthcoming album - his third to date - is a more organic beast than previous offerings, featuring instruments "borrowed from the kids' music room", he says, "including a broken violin, a ukulele, gloks, bells, drums and a mouth organ… Anything you could get a noise out of really".

While Mick Butler has had his run of playing in bands, ranging from the brass soaked pop of Papa Mantra to the dirty stomp of SUMO, he now derives pleasure from banging out tunes and crafting new material. Literally everything you hear in his music is him squeezing noises out of anything that'll sing.

This single arrives two years since the release of British alternative artist SICKY presents his thickly layered and widely acclaimed sophomore album 'Garbage Town'. SICKY released his debut album 'Bowling Balls', partially inspired by Prince, Bowie and Ray Bradbury's book 'The Martian Chronicles', in 2021 during lockdown.

As of January 16, 'Slide' is available from fine digital platforms, including SpotifyApple Music and Bandcamp.  The full 'Troubled Delight' album will be released on February 14.

Pop Punk Trio Air Drawn Dagger Sign to Long Branch Records + Release Video for New Single "Castle"

Electro-emo angst-pop trio AIR DRAWN DAGGER have released the track "Castle" via Long Branch Recordsalongside a music video directed by Aaran McKenzie (While She Sleeps).

Produced by Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Boston Manor), the new single is a powerful statement of who the band are: a genre-bending force with a message of defiance and individuality.

"'Castle' is the song of protagonists, The Martyrs," comment Air Drawn Dagger. "It was inspired by a painting in Nottingham Castle depicting the night voting reform was shot down by the Duke in 1831. A mob set the whole castle on fire in protest. This video was an ambitious one for us, we wanted to create a world that felt bigger than ourselves whilst introducing you to as many characters as possible in less than  four minutes. Opening with a cinematic drone shot of an on-foot chase, the entire video is full of immersive storytelling cut with frantic performance shots. By the end, we have witnessed how the chase came to be, the evolution of characters and even the death of a hero. The last shot eliminates any doubt that there will be a part 2 to this story…"

Stream the single here

Watch the video to "Castle" below

Air Drawn Dagger blend raw emotion and defiance into a sound that defies genre. Their name, taken from Macbeth, symbolizes the chaos and emotional outbursts that fuel their music. BBC Introducing championed their early releases, and they soon found themselves on major playlists like Pop Punk Generation, Emo Anthems, and All New Rock. Air Drawn Dagger's momentum is undeniable. They've sold out their own headline shows and played packed-out UK dates with Millie Manders. Recent shows with Lake Malice, Dream State, and AVIVIA saw more back-to-back sellouts along with curating their own stage at the Tramlines Festival Fringe. With over 250,000 views on the music video for their single "You Should Have Known Better," which also featured on the Kerrang! Chart, and multiple tracks premiering on BBC Introducing, the band's cult-like following continues to grow.

Following their sold-out show at The Leadmill last year, Air Drawn Dagger have also announced their biggest show to date at Corporation, in their hometown of Sheffield, on Saturday April 5, 2025.

With all this, and more to come, 2025 is set to be The Year of the Dagger.

Kenny Takes Live Into NEW Dimension: Sphere Residency in Vegas

For Kenny Chesney, known for exhaustive live shows that are long on the euphoria that comes from embracing the world and living life completely, it was only a matter of time until he found a new dimension. That moment is 2025, when the songwriter/superstar brings his full-tilt brand of American music to Sphere in Las Vegas.

“I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney says of his decision to make 2025’s tour a trip to the next-level venue. “Over the years, they have shown me through their own response to these songs how passionate they are about what they mean, how these songs are part of their lives. When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more.

“When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in. Just the idea of 4D technology and the impossibly dialed in sound raises the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”

The only country artist to be in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years for the last 15 years, Chesney joins the select cultural icons U2, Dead & Company, Eagles, Phish and Afterlife Presents Anyma to headline the 17,600-seat spherical venue that has redefined the live entertainment experience and employs next-generation technologies. Sphere is known for its 167,000 individual speakers, which can be dialed in to each section with dazzling specificity, and fully immersive visual capabilities that deliver over 171 million pixels across a 160,000 square foot screen wrapping up, over and around the audience, plus 4D technologies including haptic seats.

With technology so advanced, the video content had to be shot on a special camera developed specifically for Sphere’s configuration, these shows will deliver the eight-time Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year as he’s never been seen before. They will also heighten the sensation of the music as those speakers exist behind the 16K x 16K resolution wraparound screen, the world’s highest-resolution LED display.

So powerful was the technology that Chesney said “yes,” without ever attending a concert.

He explains, “When we started talking, I flew to Vegas with my key tour team. We stood on the floor as they ran the film of U2’s show and we were completely consumed. We could see the band, but it was so much more than that. It almost took what they were doing and multiplied it by another dimension.

“Knowing how much intensity our shows generate, my mind started thinking about all the things we could do. Once you see how the show wraps all the way around you, the dreaming begins.”

Kept under wraps for nearly a year, Chesney and his team, along with experts from Sphere Studios’ tech and creative teams, have been working to create what will be a whole new experience in the way his music is experienced. With a vast catalogue of songs to draw from, these landmark shows will deliver a fully immersive and completely unique experience.

To access the experience, there are several ways to find your dimension:

Norwegian Progressive Metal masters Rendezvous Point, around Leprous' drummer Baard Kolstad, have teamed up with Kringkastingsorkesteret aka The Norwegian Radio Orchestra to record a reworked version of their song "Still Water."

"KORK are super experienced in accompanying bands, so when we had the opportunity to do something together with them we just had to take it," says the band. "We chose to do a new live-in-studio version of Still Water, dedicating more focus to the symphonic parts than on the album version. We are very excited about the result, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! The song is an epic crescendo which encapsulates the moment between life and death. The moment where everything is silent and hopeless, but also a blank sheet of paper for a new beginning. In the realm of giving up, something or someone can drag you back to life. It's never too late to search for help."

you, infinite (Feat. Members Of This Will Destroy You) Share New Single "Shine Eternal"

You, infinite, the new project from This Will Destroy You founding members, have shared new single "Shine Eternal" from their self-titled debut full-length due February 28, 2025 through Berlin's Pelagic Records.

you, infinite reunites Jeremy Galindo and Raymond Brown, founders of acclaimed instrumental outfit This Will Destroy You, in a new collaborative project. After departing TWDY to pursue a career in medicine, Brown continued to write music while establishing a successful practice in Austin, Texas. During the pandemic, he accumulated a collection of melodies and ideas which he shared with Galindo, sparking a renewed creative partnership. Separated by distance, with Galindo in Los Angeles and Brown in Austin, the duo began to exchange ideas digitally in order to shape the foundations of you, infinite's electronic-edged, panoramic post-rock sound.

Between 2021 and 2024, the two came together in person to refine the pieces and ultimately to finalize the album. Working with Andrew Hernandez, who recorded and mixed the album in the summer of 2024, Brown and Galindo were joined by Johnnie McBryde, Ethan Billips, and Nicholas Huft, all current members of Galindo's TWDY lineup, in order to truly bring the album to life.

A simple, sparkling guitar refrain rises to full anthemic splendour in "Shine Eternal," the latest single from you, infinite’s debut full-length. The new project from founding members of shoegaze pioneers This Will Destroy You, "Shine Eternal" serves as proof of the indelible bond between Jeremy Galindo and Raymond Brown; the breathtaking result of a unique creative friendship newly reunited.

A modern successor to TWDY's own seminal S/T release, you, infinite is a reflection on over 15 years of growth and experience, both as bandmates together and as friends apart. A reimagined and reinvigorated approach to the sound they once pioneered, as you, infinite Galindo and Brown are charting a new course across a familiar yet altogether different landscape; honouring their past whilst boldly forging ahead into places unknown.

you, infinite is due to be released on the February 28. Pre-order it here.

"Shine Eternal" is out now.

Stoned Jesus Cover HIM

Having celebrated their 15th anniversary with two reissues last year, Stoned Jesus are turning over a new leaf in 2025. The Ukrainian psychedelic prog rockers are rolling across the European summer festival circuit in heavy anticipation of their upcoming sixth album and first with the band's new lineup.

To kick off the new year in high gear, Stoned Jesus are honoring their fellow trailblazers HIM with a faithfully heart-pounding ode to love metal.

Listen to Stoned Jesus cover "Buried Alive By Love" below.

Though they were already a known force on the international album charts, before "Buried Alive By Love", HIM were at odds with how they were perceived by the music industry. Igor Sydorenko - the mastermind behind Stoned Jesus - understands the feeling all too well.

"We constantly struggle with the limitations of the genre, having been pigeonholed as a stoner rock band early in our career, so HIM are very relatable to us", Igor says. "It's absolutely unfair that such a diverse and interesting band are remembered as this moody, one-dimensional bunch by the general public. I truly consider Ville Vallo one of the most underappreciated rock and metal composers ever. His way of balancing the heavy and dark stuff with the catchiest melodies is very inspiring when I'm busy with my own songwriting".

With the opening track on 2003's Love Metal, HIM truly hit upon their signature style. "Buried Alive By Love" shot the album to the top of the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Now, more than two decades later, the hit single is launching a new era for Stoned Jesus. The band's new rhythm section add fresh sludge, while Igor's razor-sharp riff and coolly impassioned pleas match the Finn's gothic groove drop for bloody drop.

"This is just a phenomenal song", Igor continues. "Bumping HIM in the van with the new boys on our first tour together sure helped to build and solidify the chemistry that we have now".

While only their second album, Seven Thunders Roar marks an early milestone for Stoned Jesus. The riffs still roll downhill with all the sludgy force of a mudslide, but the band added crisp acoustic guitars to reflect their newfound inner strength. "Climbing up", Igor sings on "I Am The Mountain", a 16-minute instant classic that charges through lush folksy valleys and peaks of headbanging doom at full steam. "And we're never going to stop".

When it first arrived back in 2014, even Stoned Jesus were surprised by their follow-up to Seven Thunders Roar. Having already reached the summit of stoner metal, for The Harvest, the band dug into their progressive rock roots. With its synth-laden passages and weaving guitar solo, "Silkworm Confessions'' definitely sows those seeds. But while it leans heavily into the album's sci-fi narrative, "Here Come the Robots" comes busting out the gate with a hard-charging riff that's so aggressively catchy, it could've been programmed by alt-rock radio.

"After years of waiting we're finally reissuing two of our most-beloved albums, the heavy prog stalwart The Harvest and the already-legendary psychedelic classic Seven Thunders Roar!" Igor says. "It's funny now to think how surprised people were hearing The Harvest for the first time - a lot of them possibly expected Seven Thunders Part Two, but as a songwriter I'd never been into repeating myself. And with Seven Thunders, what else could I say about this overlooked-then-and-praised-now record, its importance and influence for the genre?

"This was our first release with our then-manager, Vlad Lyashenko, the man who helped to shape the Ukrainian rock and metal underground into the force it is today" Igor continues. "Both reissues are dedicated to his memory, since he passed away in 2023 - hauntingly, on the very same day we'd released our fifth album, Father Light. So please enjoy both The Harvest and Seven Thunders Roar with extended bonus tracks and have one for the guy to whom we owe our career"

The reissued editions of Seven Thunders Roar and The Harvest are now available through Season of Mist.

Enterprise Earth to Drop "Descent Into Madness" EP on 1/30 + Band Shares "I. The Descent" Video

ENTERPRISE EARTH have announced that they will drop their brand new EP, Descent Into Madness, on January 30.

Pre-order it here.

The band has also shared the video for "I. The Descent." Watch it below.

"My vision began with a narration of the overarching concept to my bandmates, and it only felt right to start this journey the same way," says singer Travis Worland. "'The Descent' is a kind of overture for the EP and sets the scene for the following Hell to come."

The band echoes the singer's sentiment, saying, "We set out to accomplish one goal with this release, and we feel that we have achieved it. We envisioned a darkness, a spellbound episode through the suffering journey to insanity. Let loose your grasp, we begin the Descent Into Madness."

ABOUT ENTERPRISE EARTH:
Anguished, ethereal, groove-driven death metal enriched with innovation and technique, Enterprise Earth's music effortlesslytransitions from earth-shattering breakdowns to sickeningly slow sludge to blast-furnace pummeling without sacrificing a moody atmosphere. Each of their songs is ominous, ambitious, lurching, and engaging, including "Where Dreams Are Broken," "The Failsafe Fallacy," "Unleash Hell," and "Reanimate // Disintegrate," which collectively boast millions of streams.

Their list of tourmates over the years resembles a "who's who" of classic and modern extremity: Paleface Swiss, Lorna Shore, Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Fit For An Autopsy, Thy Art Is Murder, Chelsea Grin, Shadow Of Intent, Carnifex, and more.

The lineups have changed since they emerged in 2014, but the creative mission persists. Guitarist and producer Gabe Mangold has been at the band's core since 2017. He is joined by the formidable trio of vocalist Travis Worland, bassist Dakota Johnson (since 2021), and drummer Aron Hetsko (since 2022).

Enterprise Earth "crawl[ed] from the shadows of Washington […] and death metal [was] reborn," Shockwave wrote of the band's 2015 debut, Patient Ø. A critic for Metal Nexus declared 2017's Embodiment "the heaviest album I have ever heard." The group's third full-length, Luciferous, joined Loudwire's 50 Best Metal Albums of 2019. "It never hurts to make an album that makes the majority of your peers look silly," wrote Blabbermouth. New Transcendence declared the band's follow-up, 2022's The Chosen, "a steamrolling juggernaut." MetalSucks lauded 2024's Death: An Anthology as "all over the place, in a good way," highlighting Mangold's guitar work as "nothing short of dazzling."

Descent into Madness builds upon the adventurous steps taken across their catalog, with focused rage and despair. The EP is an exercise in focused creativity unparalleled by most of the metal genre. It's par for the course with Enterprise Earth, whose music continues to innovate and dominate.

Although death metal is arguably the most brutal of sub genres , steeped in macabre imagery, Enterprise Earth conjures self-determination and independence from within the bowels of extremity. The band's authentic, impassioned precision and technical might are unquestionable. Committed to musical excellence and personal perseverance, Enterprise Earth carvesmeaning from the darkness.

ENTERPRISE EARTH ARE:
Gabe Mangold — Guitar
Travis Worland — Vocals
Dakota Johnson — Bass
Aron Hetsko — Drums

Conquer Divide Share New Track "Bad Dreams" Feat. Of Virtue

Conquer Divide have revealed their latest single, "Bad Dreams," featuring Michigan metalcore heroes Of Virtue. The single drops ahead of their U.K. and European tour dates.

Listen to "Bad Dreams" here.

Watch the lyric video below.

The song combines Conquer Divide's ability to mix luscious and captivating vocals and hooks with their crushing intensity, both musically and lyrically, on this introspective slab of inner turmoil, which is complemented by Of Virtue's vocalists (Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate) melodic-turned-raging contributions.

Talking about the personal tones of the song, guitarist Izzy Johnson says, "We are stoked to bring the next era of Conquer Divide with our new song 'Bad Dreams,' featuring Of Virtue. Lyrically, it touches on the feeling of wanting nothing more than to succeed but being sabotaged by your own thoughts. Analysis paralysis is real and creates cycles that sometimes feel unbreakable, something that we have all individually experienced. Just like our other songs 'Paralyzed,' 'Pressure,' and 'N E W H E A V E N' (that also have introspective themes), we hope this song is something our listeners can relate to and find comfort in. Big thanks to the guys in Of Virtue who made the song come alive, we are blessed to create music alongside such talent."

Of Virtue's Tyler Ennis adds, "I've been a fan of Conquer Divide ever since I heard 'Messy.' It's an absolute honor being asked to bring both our bands together on their newest single and we're excited for it to finally be released!"

They recently had two recordings that are having wide success at the US Active Rock format. First, a new version of the band’s hit "Paralyzed" (Featuring Attack Attack!); which became the band's first entry on the Billboard charts, and re-release of alt-rockers 10 Years' hit "The Optimist," which featured Conquer Divide's Kia, ahead of the two bands touring the U.S. together in October.

In January 2025, Conquer Divide will return to Europe and the UK for a tour with New Years Day between the  January 21 and February 1. Right after, the band will appear with Ankor starting on February 7 in Cologne, and will call through Germany, The Netherlands, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and will finish on March 16 in Kortrijk, Belgium.

A Deluxe Edition of their most recent album Slow Burn was released digitally last September and featured an additional six recordings. Three of these are from Sirius XM Octane's Next Wave Concert Series, which are "Bad Guy," "Atonement," and "Paralyzed." Alongside "Paralyzed (Featuring "Attack Attack!)," "Only Girl" (Acoustic), and "80 Proof."

The band hailing from the U.S., U.K. and Canada have made a steady progression from their melodic metalcore inspired roots, maturing into a formidable hard rock act, nearing the end of their first decade together. In 2020, they returned to the studio with 2x Grammy nominated producer Tyler Smyth (Falling in Reverse, I Prevail) and 4x RIAA certified gold record producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men) and began recording of Slow Burn.

SLOW BURN picked up multiple playlisting including All New Metal, Rock Hard, The Core, Heavy Queens, Kickass Metal, New Nu and more. They picked up multiple BBC Radio 1 plays alongside playlisting at Kerrang! Radio, Kerrang! TV and Primordial Radio. "Paralyzed" was one of the Metal Hammer 2023 tracks of the year with the album also being amongst the ‘Albums of the Year.’ They've picked up support from Rock Sound, Distorted Sound, Alternative Press, Revolver, GuitarWorld, SXM Octane, Loudwire and more. The album has now exceeded 40 million cumulative streams.
