“Making this EP was a fun and intrusive experience. I wanted to pose the question of what if the horror aka “the monster” was actually inside us? In most thrillers, the monster is an external enemy but in this body of music I really wanted to lean into the internal enemy but also acknowledging how this internal enemy is influenced by our external world and what we are made to feel about ourselves and about others. Cult classic is the climax track revealing the true enemy - the unattainable ideology of what it takes to thrive in a society that is holding each individual under its thumb. I hope this EP and every song displaying the internal struggle of the self, empowers the listener and allows them to have the freedom to unplug and let go of the ever powerful ego."

ABOUT POST PROFIT
Some would say Post Profit have been waiting for this moment since the cradle, with each member being introduced to musical instruments between the ages of 2 to 6. 

Zach and Matt forged a friendship as toddlers ever since their moms became best friends from church in Longview, TX. Nick would later learn of Matt's vocal prowess through the high school intercom. "Matt's father was the high school principal," explains Nick. "And he'd have Matt on there in the mornings singing about refraining from drugs and alcohol and striving for good school attendance." 

Over the next few years, the trio would really get to know each other from attending and performing at local shows. Nick and Zach especially hit it off and quickly became inseparable, spending much of their time listening to music, eager to put their own band together. Meanwhile, Matt was sinking his teeth into a Dallas based metalcore band called Far From Earth.
 
During early 2017, Matt started hosting open jams every Sunday at a smoky East Texas dive bar and one night asked Zach to join on drums. Zach dragged his new friend Nick along on guitar and the trio quickly formed a strong musical bond. They would soon start slipping originals into their covers sets and after months of unrelenting practices and bar jams they booked their first show at a Halloween party in Tyler, TX.
 
With the experience of countless gigs across the South, Post Profit soon gained a reputation for their commanding and impactful live performance, including powerful 2021 and 2022 performances at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona, FL. Several notable figures of the community will be developing the PBC, including Dr. Daniel Ivankovich, who is an award-winning surgeon and Chicago Blues musician, who trained and worked at Northwestern University, RUSH Medical Center and Cook County Hospital. He is also a former Chicagoan of the Year, CNN Hero and Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee. Also Dr. Karla Ivankovich, a board-certified clinical mental health counselor and President of One Patient Global Health Initiative. She has extensive background in leadership, advocacy, and outreach programming. Dr. Ivankovich is also nationally and internationally awarded as an author, clinical educator and mentor.

INFERNO FESTIVAL NORWAY is now revealing a silent film concert in which Attila Csihar’s Void ov Voices will create the music for the classic German horror film 'Nosferatu' (1922). The silent film concert will take place at the cinema Vega Scene on Saturday, March 30, at daytime during Inferno Metal Festival 2024. Separate tickets will be available for this performance and can be found at THIS LOCATION.

VOID OV VOICES

Void ov Voices is the solo project of Attila Csihar, known as the vocalist of Mayhem and Tormentor, in which he uses only his own voice to create a dark and atmospheric soundscape. Csihar initiated this project in 2007 and has since performed numerous concerts with this concept. Void ov Voices has previously held a silent film concert in Oslo when they provided the music for 'The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari' during Oslo Fright Fest in 2012. We look forward to another silent film concert with Void ov Voices in Oslo, this time accompanying 'Nosferatu!'

NOSFERATU

The German silent film 'Nosferatu' was released in 1922 and was one of the first movies based on Bram Stoker’s 'Dracula.' Because they lacked the rights to the story, they changed names and locations, so Count Dracula became Count Orlok. However, this did not help, and the judiciary ruled that all the film reels of 'Nosferatu' should be destroyed. Fortunately, several reels survived, and F. W. Murnau’s great masterpiece endured. Now, over a hundred years later, the film still stands as one of the great classics in film history. We are excited to see and hear when Void ov Voices soundtracks the film during Inferno Metal Festival 2024.

In conjunction with Inferno Metal Festival, the Black Metal Bus Sightseeing Tour with Anders Odden (Cadaver, Celtic Frost, Order) is back with an all new routing! Following the success of this special event's inception last year, this incredible experience will take Inferno attendees through some of the places that marked the beginnings of Norwegian black metal!

Between 1991 and 1993, many of the most important events during this dark chapter of Norwegian music history took place in Oslo. Therefore, Inferno Metal Festival has put together a field trip to experience these legendary moments in time, including the site of Helvete, the legendary record store once owned by late Mayhem founder Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth.

Anders Odden formed his first black metal band, Slaught, in 1986 after attending a rehearsal with Mayhem at the age of 14. He was one of the pioneers of the Norwegian scene, dealing with tape trading, organizing of concerts and creating extreme music of his own. He formed Cadaver in 1988, releasing what would be the first Norwegian death metal album on Earache Records in 1990. During this period, Odden performed alongside true Norwegian legends such as Darkthrone, Mayhem, Old Funeral and many more iconic bands.

This field trip has exclusive anecdotes and personal memories of the early life of the scene from someone who was there since the beginning. The daily sightseeing schedule is as follows:

Craig Morgan’s Enlisted EP AVAILABLE NOW

In late July of this year, country music hitmaker, author and patriot Craig Morgan answered the call from the Army Reserve on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and re-enlisted. The longtime Opry member, who will celebrate his 15th year as a member next week, previously served with the Army’s 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, was making a commitment to attain 20 years of service.

 

Just as the Army has called on Morgan, the Tennessee native has called on some of his talented friends to contribute to his latest project, available now. Raised on the plains of West Texas, Randall King honed his craft with countless nights spent strumming his guitar under the expansive skies, backlit by the stars’ neon glow. Flash forward to today, and King’s road warrior diet finds him revitalizing Country’s neo-traditional sound under a different kind of neon – the radiant glow from the signs of nearly 150 honky tonks he performs in across the country each year. 
 
It’s this inspiration of nature and the humble establishments that have nurtured country music’s blue collar roots since its foundation that inspired King to usher people Into the Neon – to a place where rowdy roughnecking, romantic tenderness and breathtaking emotion are all welcome – with his 18-track sophomore album, due Jan. 26, 2024 via Warner Music Nashville.
 
“You grow wiser with age, you grow wiser while you’re working and experiencing life, and I feel like I have a deeper understanding of what my music really is,” King reflects of the growth he’s experienced since his 2022 release, Shot Glass. “We're moving into the neon era of country music. The pendulum is swinging, and you’re watching it happen… Now I just hope people get their mind blown.”
 
Co-produced by King alongside Jared Conrad, the project incorporates a unique blend of the influences from icons and modern masters alike who have inspired King’s sound; inclusive of the timeless ‘80s country twang of George Strait and Keith Whitley, and the blood pumping, Y2K-era rhythms of Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan. 
 
Showcasing his ability to traverse from a toe-tapping waltzer with “When My Baby’s In Boots” to the yearning lament of “I Could Be That Rain,” King lays it all on the line with songs that could just as easily be enjoyed while slow dancing under the starry night sky or while line dancing at a local honky tonk. With the release of “Hang Of Hangin’ On,” available now, King finds himself graciously holding close to the girl he loves despite keeping “a goodbye up his sleeve” in the past.

Despite being in the studio recording new music in 2023, King has stayed busy on the road, recently returning from his first-ever European tour in September, Neon Overseas, with a set of 11 shows, including sold-out stops in Cologne, Germany; London England and more. As the year winds down, King will support Jon Pardi and Ian Munsick on select tour dates, while continuing to headline stops in Paso Robles, CA; Reno, NV; Salt Lake City, UT and more.

Pop Evil Release Music Video for Top 5 Single SKELETONS!

Michigan-based hard rock group Pop Evil releases the official visual for their newest single and title track “Skeletons,” which is currently Top 5 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart.  Directed by long-time friend Johan Carlèn, the video depicts a supply run in the wastelands of a dystopian future going wrong. A striving man finds himself face-to-face with death. It is a relentless fight between human and machine.

About the video, frontman Leigh Kakaty says, “Sometimes the little things in life come with the hardest challenges to overcome. A fiery, resurrected rage barrels its way out of hell’s erupting chasms with blistering fury; Fuming Mouth has returned. Lead singer, guitarist, and founder Mark Whelan emerges triumphant after a life-threatening battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, rekindling the inferno of their music with Fuming Mouth's second full-length album, Last Day of Sun.

What initially began as a full-on, fictional concept album underwent a profound transformation into a concept-reality hybrid, largely influenced by Whelan's harrowing conflict with his health and anear brush with death. Just three weeks away from recording the album, Whelan was struck with a devastating cancer diagnosis. While bravely fighting the illness, he rewrote melodies, drum sections, and lyrics, infusing the music with his personal journey of struggle and hope.

The recording sessions began in October 2022, with Grammy Award winning Kurt Ballou of Converge at his studio, God City, in Salem, Massachusetts. Ballou reached out to Whelan after his battle with cancer and encouraged him to get back to their previously scheduled recording session. Working closely with Ballou in both engineering and production, the band found a wonderful and collaborative experience, as Ballou invested himself wholeheartedly in shaping their sound and vision. Salem itself also helped shape the album, as the Halloween Season had begun. Droves of tourists and residents mixing with people in costume made the streets of Salem seem like Last Day of Sun had come to life. The city where the Witch Trials took place presented the perfect setting for the album to be recorded.

At the genesis of this record, there was no other artist that could have captured the album's essence better than Mariusz Lewandowski, with whom the band had already established a creative relationship through his work on the cover art of The Grand Descent. Tragically, Mariusz passed away while working on the album artwork, presenting the band with an immense obstacle to overcome. In tribute to his spirit and legacy, they joined forces with the talented artist Stefan Todorovic who crafted an evocative album cover depicting a Faustian city crumbling amidst the gray and sandy storms of the apocalypse. A colossal monster blocks the sun and hovers above the city as it burns, smoky buildings topple to the ground; all a visual representation of the chaos and darkness that permeates the album.

Fuming Mouth stands resilient, a testament to the indomitable human spirit. Amidst the carnage and depression lies a flicker of hope - a beacon of light that emanates from within. But as the last rays of the sun cast their shadow, the question remains. Will the people in Last Day of Sun survive? Will their worst inhibitions play out, will they rip each other to shreds, will they give up? Will everything they’ve built have been for not? Will they find a way to overcome, or will their panic lead to failure?

Hailing from Nashville, TN, music was always a big part of the household for Dela Kay. Seeing the emotional connection a personal song could make fueled her desire to write and to be a storyteller. She studied musical theater at The Chicago College of Performing Arts at the Theatre Conservatory of Roosevelt University, where she grew creatively in many ways, but ultimately felt a strong call back to her roots of songwriting. “I will always love life in the theater. But there is something so much more satisfying to me when I create something uniquely mine, from my heart, using my own words and music. I draw from the scars of broken relationships just as easily as the joy and celebration of being young and free.”

In 2014, her electro-pop style began to emerge through a collaboration with Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and producer, Femke Weidema; which eventually led to her first electro-pop/European-infused single release, “9 out of 10,” as Dela Kay in 2016. Named by Earmilk as an artist who was gifted “with a rich, distinctive vocal style” for her 2018 release of “Make You Mine,” Dela Kay went on to continue releasing singles and garnering hundreds of thousands of streams. In 2019 Dela Kay released “All My Love” through Sony Music, which ended up charting 49 on the top 150 global artist charts for Digital Radio Tracker as well as in the top ten for the Top Independent Charts. The release of “Think About You” shortly followed, which ended up becoming Dela’s highest-streamed song to date with almost 800k streams and counting. Vocal powerhouse, prolific songwriter and American Idol winner Chayce Beckham made his Grand Ole Opry debut last night (10/18), performing his now RIAA-certified PLATINUM single “23” that's entirely self written and currently Top 20 at radio, along with the tender ballad “Till The Day I Die” to a packed-out audience. After his performance, Beckham was then surprised on stage with the song's platinum plaque by his mom, Windie Peterson, and manager, Kerri Edwards.

Jonas Group Entertainment Launches Red Van Records w/ Flagship Artist Levi Hummon

Jonas Group Entertainment and founder Kevin Jonas Sr. announce the launch of Red Van Records. Under the leadership of JGE CEO, Phil Guerini, the label will operate out of the JGE offices on Music Row in Nashville, TN. Red Van Records is proud to announce the signing of their first artist with acclaimed writer and singer, Nashville native, Levi Hummon. 
 
The namesake for the label came from the red van that the Jonas family originally toured the country in. “I can’t begin to guess how many hours and miles we logged driving the guys around the country in that van, but it represents the commitment you make to be in the music industry,” said Jonas Sr.  “We were always building and in motion and that’s the philosophy of Red Van Records.” 
 
While not part of Red Van Records, eldest Jonas Brother Kevin was recently reminiscing about the van and those early days with People Magazine saying, “That was our baby; we spent thousands of hours in there. We turned one of the rows of seats around in the back of the van to face each other and play card games and hang out on the long drives. Lots of fond memories about those days.”
 
The label’s first signing is multi-talented musician Levi Hummon who will release his first Red Van Records’ song, “Paying For It” with Walker Hayes on Oct. 27. “With the values and ideals that are the foundation of Red Van Records, Levi is the perfect artist to launch our label,” said Guerini. “He is so well respected in the music community as a complete artist, and he has been tireless in his pursuit of music and taking it to the fans on the road. Spanish thrash metal masters ANGELUS APATRIDA are now celebrating the release of their monstrous new album, 'Aftermath,' which hit the streets today via Century Media Records! To commemorate the big day, the band is now blessing fans with a lyric video for the new single, "Scavenger," which can be found below.

The world has taken a battering over the last few years, but ANGELUS APATRIDA is leading the fightback. 

Spain’s greatest ever exponents of forward-thinking thrash metal began their campaign at the turn of the century and have been a consistent force for heavy music ever since. From their ferocious 2006 debut album 'Evil Unleashed' and 2010’s widely acclaimed 'Clockwork' (the band’s first for Century Media), to more recent triumphs like 2018’s 'Cabaret de la Guillotine,' ANGELUS APATRIDA has become increasingly unstoppable. In 2023, they will release 'Aftermath,' a vicious and vital response to the chaos we see all around us. 

With touring plans for 2020 cancelled, ANGELUS APATRIDA simply switched focus to the creative process. The result was 'Angelus Apatrida,' a self-titled record that sought to redefine its creators’ era-blending sound, with renewed intensity and uproarious lyrical sensibilities that dug deep into the realities of the modern world. Climbing to the top of the official album charts in Spain at # 1 as well as marking the band’s first ever chart entries in Germany at # 49 and Switzerland at # 41 upon release in 2021, the album showcased a band at the peak of their powers. Understandably, ANGELUS APATRIDA were absolutely itching to get back on the road, which they eventually did with a vengeance.

“We started doing some shows trying to keep things going until the summer of 2021, and then at the end of the year we were able to do some important venues and festivals,” recalls guitarist/vocalist Guillermo Izquierdo. “We spent 2022 and 2023 touring, mostly in Europe and North America. We’ve played Hellfest, Graspop, Dynamo, Resurrection Fest, Rock Fest and Leyendas del Rock, and we did our first headlining tour in the U.S. and Canada. In February 2023 we did the last four dates of the tour in Spain with four total sell outs!”

Clearly one of the hardest-working bands in metal, ANGELUS APATRIDA were not content with simply returning to the live arena. Even as they toured, work on their next album began. Pre-production for 'Aftermath' was finished in March 2023, and the band swiftly hit the studio in their hometown of Albacete, once again collaborating with trusted live and studio engineer Juanan López on the capturing of these new metal explosions. The finished tracks were then sent to the legendary Zeuss (Rob Zombie/Overkill/Hatebreed) at Planet-Z in Wilbraham, Massachusetts and polished to a devastating sheen. The results speak for themselves: 'Aftermath' is titanium-plated modern thrash of the highest order.

“Every time we sit down and write new music, we try to do the best we can and to put all the new things and experiences we had over the last few years into the mix,” says Guillermo. “The new songs are pure ANGELUS APATRIDA. They’ve got every single essence of the band. There are many songs containing more personal feelings than on previous records. We’re going deep into our souls and feelings sometimes. Since we are living strange, difficult and dark times, we liked the concept of an aftermath. After everything that has happened since 2020 and is still happening in the world, in our society, and in our lives, a lot of strong feelings have come through in the music and lyrics.”

'Aftermath' is undoubtedly the most heartfelt and powerful record in ANGELUS APATRIDA’s illustrious history, but it’s also one of the heaviest and most direct. From the neck-wrecking adrenaline rush of opener "Scavenger" to the dark might of the closing "Vultures And Butterflies," the Spanish quartet’s eighth studio record displays the songwriting muscle and playing prowess of bands like Metallica, Testament and Pantera, while still delivering a huge, jolting dose of ANGELUS APATRIDA’s distinctive trademark attack.

“We can describe 'Aftermath' as what metal means to us,” Guillermo says. “It contains the best songs we've ever written. It is just very difficult to pick just one or two highlights on this album since every single track could be a single itself.”

Confirming their sturdy reputation in the global metal scene, ANGELUS APATRIDA invited some heavyweight figures to add their talents to 'Aftermath.' Hatebreed’s iconic frontman Jamey Jasta lends his caustic bark to "Snob," while Queensrÿche vocalist Todd La Torre lends his spectacular tones to "Vultures And Butterflies." Elsewhere, Pablo Garcia, guitarist with Spanish power metal legends Warcry, displays his virtuosity on the incendiary "Fire Eyes," and Spanish rap star Sho-Hai brings the noise on the brooding "What Kills Us All. "

With no need to regain momentum, ANGELUS APATRIDA is more ready than most to let rip again in 2023. 'Aftermath' marks a pinnacle in this band’s determined and always fruitful career. It’s a defiant, uplifting and resolutely metal-as-fuck response to an era defined by chaos and fear. It’s the sound of ANGELUS APATRIDA, doing what they do, but bigger, better, louder and with more passion than ever. 

“As soon as the album is released, we are starting a huge live campaign,” adds Guillermo. “We start with a big European tour that will cover most of the mainland and the U.K., and we are already working on getting back to Oceania and Asia, Latin America and making our return to the United States and Canada during the first half of 2024. Expect a great live festival season for summer 2024 and more tours! We’re coming!”
