“With a promise made, a promise kept, we discovered a sound that is unapologetically us fused with all of our inspirations," Thomas says. "This EP has soaked up the blood, sweat and tears of all five members, and we hope you can feel it coursing through your veins when listening. This EP brought many challenges but also many victories, including the opportunity to headline a favorite hometown venue kicking off a headline tour, the release of vinyl for the very first time and our upcoming April tour supporting The Last Ten Seconds Of Life and Traitors."

He finishes, "To celebrate the release of this EP, we share with audiences one final music video for the EPs closing song 'Dust To Dust'.' This is personally my favorite video and single off of the record. It'ss the fastest, heaviest, most intense and definitely the most lyrically real to me."

With punishing unconventional vocals, Asher creates depictions of bodily and psychological horror through lyricism centered around mental health awareness. The rest of the band reflects these themes musically through brutal riffs, tight drum grooves, and a gut-wrenching low end. In 2023, the band released its debut EP Lust in the End, which Idioteq described as "a surreal journey…delving into the darkest corners of the human experience."

Nailed Shut MA have performed in many iconic venues across the northeast as well as 2024 Inkcarceration Festival. Bands they have shared the stage with include All Shall Perish, Peeling Flesh, Power Trip, Kaonashi, End It, Gatecreeper, and many more. Their energetic performances are sure to knock the wind out of you. With much more new music and many more shows planned for the coming months, Nailed Shut MA are here to wreak havoc in 2026 and beyond.

Evergrey Announce New Album "Architects Of A New Weave" + Share Animated Video For "Architects Of The New Weave"

Shortly after announcing their fifteenth (!!!) studio album, Architects Of A New Weave, set for release on June 5, 2026 via Napalm Records, EVERGREY unveil their new single and manifest of beautiful darkness, "Architects Of The New Weave", alongside a visually-striking animated video. Once again, Gothenburg’s finest export proves its unmatched ability to craft timeless melodies, powerful riffs, and gripping lyrics,  while continuing to surprise their devoted fans with an innovative approach, even after more than 30 years of existence.

EVERGREY ’s new full-length, Architects Of A New Weave, will be released just days before the band takes the stage as special guest to the undisputed kings of heavy metal, Iron Maiden, for two shows on their "Run For Your Lives" World Tour. This is the wake-up call you didn’t know you needed: A plunge into thinning air, burning worlds, and lingering guilt—only to break free with fierce momentum. The album refuses to wallow. It ascends—fast, heavy, and cinematic. But it refuses to hide in the dark. It rises: Quick, fierce, and utterly transformative.

Tom Englund about the new single "Architects Of The New Weave":
"'Architects Of The New Weave' – It’s a blistering first single from our 15th studio album, Architects Of A New Weave, (or the second ferocious strike if you're counting our standalone powerhouse "OXYGEN!" as its own beast)! I am not afraid to claim this is a no-brainer, sing-along friendly, straight-up great metal song! It came ignited from Rikard Zander's killer keyboard riff, which we hammered into a short, but massive headbanger! When crafting that chorus keyboard line, 'Rainbow In The Dark' was blasting in my head – pure epic inspiration, giving it that timeless, fist-pumping edge. There are dual guitar solos, trading fire in classic old-school style, melodic and memorable. We can't wait to let this rip live! I'm torn on music videos sometimes – I adore them as an art form, but too often the visuals steal focus from the music itself."

Watch the animation video for "Architects Of The New Weave" Below:

Tom Englund about the animation video:
"We went bold: a stunning, immersive introduction to Mattias Norén's absolute magnum opus of album artwork. Every tiny, intricate detail comes alive on screen, with the track thundering as the perfect dark soundtrack.
- It's hypnotic, lets the art breathe, and pulls you deeper into our world -
We could've chosen any track from the album as the lead, but this one's the perfect explosive opener to our new era of beautiful darkness. I've never been more fired up. Crank it loud, join the weave, and let's build something unstoppable together."

Pre-Order Architects Of A New Weave  NOW!

Dive into Architects Of A New Weave’s standout tracks like "The World is on Fire", "Leaving The Emptiness", "Heaven", and "The Prophecy", and the breathtaking title anthem "Architects Of The New Weave". Their choruses break through like sunlight piercing storm clouds: enormous, cinematic melodies that pull you upward, riffs with genuine weight and bite, and vocals dripping with raw, unflinching truth. In one breath, you’re shouldering buried longing; in the next, you’re weightless, fearless, endless. Scars transform into badges of survival, fractures fuel reinvention. In the second half of the album, fellow Gothenburg icon Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect, Grand Cadaver, Cemetery Skyline) joins Tom S. Englund in vocal duties for "A Burning Flame", the voices of the two scene legends intertwined compellingly. Architects Of A New Weave was produced by Tom S. Englund and Vikram Shankar, with a stellar mix by Adam "Nolly" Getgood.

Among other exclusive formats, Architects Of A New Weave comes with a bonus album, containing bonus tracks "Heights" and "One Heart", as well as an album mix of the previously released standalone single "OXYGEN!" (2025). Additionally, it features a demo version of "Longing", instrumental tracks of
"Leaving The Emptiness", both new songs, as well as a live version of "Falling From The Sun", the hit single off the previous record, Theories of Emptiness (2024) and continuation of “Ominous” off of A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament) (2022).

From Ashes to New Drop "Die for You" Song + Video

FROM ASHES TO NEWDanny Case (vocals), Matt Brandyberry (vocals), Lance Dowdle (guitar), Maty Madiro (drums), and Jimmy Bennett (guitar) — recently announced their new album REFLECTIONS, out April 17 via Better Noise Music. Pre-order it HERE.

The Lancaster, PA-based quintet shares the latest single from the album with "DIE FOR YOU."

Watch the video, featuring Cruella Morgan, below.

According to Brandyberry, the song reflects "the fallout of a relationship built on control, desire, and guilt. It's a song that captures the exhaustion of giving endlessly to someone who keeps asking for more and mistaking survival for love. At its core, the song is about the moment clarity breaks through, forcing you to question how much of yourself you're willing to lose."

Case echoes these sentiments, furthering, "'Die For You' is about bending over backwards, doing everything you possibly can to please someone in a relationship, and it just never ends up being enough. And it feels like no matter what you do, it is just never good enough."

The weight of the subject matter is matched by the heft of the layered vocals and accompanying razor sharp riffs and moody melodies. Fans cannot help but feel the song's very real beating heart.

The 12-track REFLECTIONS is the follow-up to 2023's BLACKOUT, which achieved the #1 spot on several iTunes and Spotify Rock and Metal charts across the globe. It was a massive success. Yet, in late 2023, FROM ASHES TO NEW arrived at a creative crossroads. The group wrapped up demos for 16 songs for what was supposed to be their fifth studio album. However, instead of sprinting towards the finish line and completing the record, the band scrapped those demo sessions. The process went against everything the band had ever done before. But largely starting anew —they kept two songs— was liberating. The band collectively knew it had to make something that remained true to their traditional sound yet broadened the tent to capture the ears and focus of a fresh audience. "I wanted to take what we are good at and push it even further," Brandyberry says. "That was the process for this whole record."

As a result, fans can hear a reinvigorated FROM ASHES TO NEW on REFLECTIONS.

In other From Ashes to New news, the single "Drag Me" is Top 20 on Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart.

FROM ASHES TO NEW will remain on the road all year.

First, they head to Europe. Two of the shows sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale, highlighting the band's international demand! Then they will hit the road for a 42-date U.S. tour supporting Black Veil Brides, along with TX2, and As December Falls, starting April 25 in Riverside, CA. Tickets are available HERE.

They will join Shinedown for a leg of the band's summer tour in July and August, as well. All dates are below.

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Release "X's For Eyes" Deluxe Edition With 4 New Tracks + Share "Not Today"

5X Platinum-certified alternative rockers THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS  vocalist Ronnie Winter, his multi-instrumentalist brother Randy Winter, guitarist Josh Burke, bassist Joey Westwood, drummer John Espy, keyboardist Nadeem Salam, and newest member K Enagonio on vocals — rode the crest of a major career wave in 2025. They released X'S FOR EYES via BETTER NOISE MUSIC and enjoyed Fall 2025 appearances at key festivals, including Aftershock, When We Were Young, and Warped Tour Orlando.

The band cruises into 2026 with the release of the deluxe edition of X'S FOR EYES. The expanded version features four additional tracks: the previously released "Angels Cry"; "Perfection" (Feat. Mayday Parade's Derek Sanders); "Not Today"; and "Slipping Through (No Kings)" (Screams Version). Get the deluxe version here.

"The surprise guest vocalist and alternate versions really make this the most exciting deluxe edition in the history of our career," declares Ronnie Winter.

To celebrate the release, the band has also shared the lyric video for "Not Today." Watch and listen below.

The 11 original songs on X's For Eyes found the band revving up their caffeinated pop sensibilities, throwing down the punishing riffola, delivering more electronic and ambient flourishes, and topping all of it off with Winter's high-pitched emoting. Factor in some A-list cameos from Sleeping With Sirens' Kellin Quinn( "Always The King") and Escape The Fate frontman Craig Mabbitt ("Worth It") and the end result is one of the best offerings of the band's career. For this album, Winter was able to reconcile the deep, sometimes nagging thoughts he'd been harboring, post-pandemic. When the proceedings get melancholy or troubling lyrically, the band is ready to propel these songs into pogo-popping dance floors, furious mosh pits or moments of reverent, tribunal phone-waving. It's always been a cathartic listen and now it has been super-sized with four additional songs that are sure to please the RJA faithful!

Formed in 2004 in Jacksonville, Florida, the band has accrued Gold and multi-Platinum singles—including their massive 5x Platinum hit single "Face Down" (which has over 176 million views on YouTube), 2x Platinum "Your Guardian Angel"(which has over 37 million views on YouTube) — and 2x Platinum-certified debut album, DON'T YOU FAKE IT, alongside numerous high-ranking radio chart positions and a robust digital history of over 1.5 billion career streams. "The core fanbase has always been there," Winter says. “It's a family band. Why? Because we stick up for people." Sometimes it's hard to believe that THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS began their expedition into the hearts and minds of a generation 20 years ago. Their blazing 2006 single "Face Down" delivered both anthemic choruses and a strident message about domestic abuse, achieving both sales accolades and adoration from crowds all over the planet.

THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS will be touring through Spring, with a run of dates in their native Florida and a brief stint in South America. They will also appear in the Philippines and at Sonic Temple in May. All forthcoming dates are below.

Diamante Releases New Track and Official Video "Bite of the Beast" via Sumerian Records

Charismatic chanteuse Diamante has today released her new single "Bite of the Beast", a cinematic rock anthem about the addictive yet self-destructive embrace of romantic obsession, and the accompanying official video (via Sumerian Records). When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Diamante shared:

‘Bite of the Beast’ was inspired by the dark romance novels I’ve been reading and the song is set in a twisted fairytale world. It’s about a kind of all-consuming infatuation that changes you forever — the kind where, once it’s over, nothing else can ever compare. I wanted the song to feel visceral and dangerous, like falling under a spell you know will ruin you. It’s the kind of heartbreak that you don't want cured.

After being featured as a Stowaway earlier this year on ShipRocked 2026, fans now have the chance to see her electric energy live on the SPIN THE WHEEL US TOUR alongside labelmates I See Stars and special guests Mothica and Until I Wake. Diamante will also be performing at the recently announced Louder Than Life 2026 festival on Saturday, September 19 (ticket information here). RYAN AND RORY LEAN INTO LAST-CALL HONKY-TONK CHAOS WITH “WASN’T THINKIN’” – OUT NOW

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s Ryan and Rory turn up the neon-soaked mischief with their new track “Wasn’t Thinkin’,” available everywhere now. Listen Below.

Produced by Kevin Bard and written by Joey Hyde, Ryan Follesé, and Emma-Lee, “Wasn’t Thinkin’” is a high-energy honky-tonk rocker built for last call and the stories that come with it. Driven by cranked-up guitars, a boot-stomping groove, and a head-bobbing rhythm that feels tailor-made for crowded dance floors and late-night singalongs, the track that they premiered earlier this week when they returned to the Grand Ole Opry captures the reckless fun of a night where good decisions take a back seat to good times.

“Yep, the song is about ‘one of those nights,’” says Ryan Follesé. “‘Wasn’t Thinkin’’ is exactly the point. Sometimes, you don’t need to overthink a good time. Just roll with it!”

“Even in the fog of a morning-after hangover,” adds Rory John Zak. “Once you piece together what happened the night before, this song makes you want to run it back again in real life as soon as possible.”

Packed with vivid snapshots of karaoke bars, double pours, and questionable rides home, the track leans into the duo’s signature mix of humor, relatability, and rowdy charm, turning small regrets into big memories and reminding listeners that sometimes the best nights are the ones you never planned.

With music that is connecting with audiences globally, the duo will make their C2C debut with a three-show run in London starting on March 14. More information and tickets are available HERE

Following a string of fan-favorite releases that showcase both their heart and their high-energy live spirit, Ryan and Rory continue to build momentum with a sound that blends modern country polish with throwback honky-tonk attitude. With “Wasn’t Thinkin’,” the SiriusXM Highway Find duo deliver another crowd-ready anthem built for neon lights, raised glasses, and stories worth laughing about the next morning.

HUNTERGIRL SERVES UP A NO-NONSENSE ANTHEM WITH “COME AND GET YOUR BOY” — OUT NOW

With “Come and Get Your Boy,” out today via 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, HunterGirl leans into her sharpest instincts yet, delivering a mid-tempo, barroom-ready anthem built on truth-telling, solidarity, and a little well-earned side-eye. Written by HunterGirl alongside Brock Berryhill, Jessie Jo Dillon, Jesse Frasure, Jaxson Free, and Taylor Phillips, and produced by Trent Willmon, the track plays like a knowing nod across the room between two women who’ve seen this story before. Listen Below. Fans can catch a premiere performance of the new release when HunterGirl makes her return to the Grand Ole Opry tonight, tickets are available HERE

Driven by a steady groove and a hook that lands like a warning bell, “Come and Get Your Boy” unfolds with the kind of sly confidence that only comes from hard-won experience. HunterGirl’s vocal carries equal parts grit and charm, turning the chorus into both a call-out and a call-in, where honesty hits harder than any heartbreak and the truth is poured straight, no chaser.

“I performed for years on Broadway in downtown Nashville and I have seen firsthand this story behind ‘Come and Get Your Boy’ play out in real life. This was such a fun song to write. As women, we all need to look out for one another, and most of the women I know have some fierce private detective skills. We have all witnessed that guy with the red flag waving,” says HunterGirl.

“Come and Get Your Boy” follows “Somewhere Wild,” which opened HunterGirl’s 2026 with a windswept, introspective turn, and continues a steady run of releases that showcase the full range of her voice as a storyteller. With nearly 80 million global streams, a Grand Ole Opry debut to a standing ovation, and praise from outlets like People, CMT, and MusicRow, who called her “a major, major new talent,” she continues to build momentum on her own terms. After touring with Luke Bryan and Kimberly Perry, HunterGirl steps into this next chapter with a song that proves honesty, humor, and heart can still own the room.

ANGUS McSIX Share New Single & Video "Dig Down" Featuring Van Canto

ANGUS McSIX teams up with Van Canto for the new single, "Dig Down", an out-of-the-box harbinger from their sophomore album, Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye, out March 13, 2026 via Napalm Records. Mixing their epicness with the German acappella troupe's signature style, the power metal supergroup crafts an undeniably entertaining and inciting hymn. Led by their new hero, Adam McSix, the band is ready to face the perils of the universe on the follow-up to their chart-storming debut, Angus McSix and the Sword of Power, which reached #10 in Germany, #16 in Switzerland, and #26 in Austria, and with its lead single amassing over three million Spotify streams. Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye is an exciting passing of the torch, and "Dig Down" invites you to pick up a sword!

ANGUS McSIX on "Dig Down" (feat. Van Canto):
"Our three heroes Adam McSix, Orz Zero, and The Dwarf are taking a break in a cave in the mountain "Ironpick Peak" when Adam suddenly notices that The Dwarf might have set her eyes on the Orc. At least, that's what he assumes. Throughout the song, he makes fun of The Dwarf. Finally, she’s had enough and quickly orders barbarians from "Only Heroes" to teach Adam a lesson. Unfortunately, she misspells the order and the bards of Van Canto arrive. They initially reprimand Adam for bullying, which is not appropriate for a prince, but then quickly realize that the song is "really catchy" and end up joining in..."

Watch the Official Music Video for "Dig Down"(feat. Van Canto) Below:

ANGUS MCSIX rise from the aftermath of previous historic battles with Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye, out March 13, 2026 via Napalm Records. Following the chart-storming debut (Angus McSix and the Sword of Powerinstantly rose to the top 10 of the German Album charts in 2023), Angus’ brother, Adam McSix (Sam Nyman, Manimal), now steps forth as the main character and lead singer. Also adding the brute force of new guitarist, The Dwarf (Jasmin Pabst) besides guitar Amazon Thalestris (Thalia Belazecca, Primal Fear), the power metal supergroup is thrilled for new adventures, one being to save the legendary hero Angus from his cruel fate of being frozen in an ice block prison in which his nemesis, the Archdemon Seebulon (Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann, Orden Ogan), trapped him. ANGUS McSIX embark on their absurd journey wielding the power of metal and a tongue-in-cheek attitude as their mighty weapons!

Pre-Order Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye — NOW!

The eleven tracks of Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye feature the band’s one-of-a-kind storytelling, proving even more epic, absurd, and magnificent than ever. Previously released "6666" still features their now-imprisoned frontman Angus McSix (Thomas Winkler) on vocals, passing the torch to Adam McSix and placing nothing less than the fate of the universe on his shoulders. "The Fire Of Yore" bridges the gap between Manowar, Modern Talking, and Electric Callboy and fully opens up the new chapter – Angus, after all, possesses no memory of his previous adventures, leaving all the more room for more lore to be introduced through Adam! ANGUS McSIX gain further help on their quest from a cappella group Van Canto on "Dig Down" and Finnish Turmion Kätilöt on "Techno Men". "Ork Zero", referencing their monstrous drummer (Gerit Lamm, ex-Xandria), and "Starlight Stronghold" are electrifying disco bangers, while "Let The Search Begin" – following instrumental break "Aetheriyja" – is another true metal hymn. "The Power Of Metal" adds Freedom Call to the party before the mighty heroes take their final stand in "Into Battle".

Charmingly quizzical and undeniably entertaining, Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye crafts one catchy anthem after another. LOST SOCIETY Release New Album "Hell Is A State Of Mind" Today

Four years after the critical triumph of If the Sky Came Down, Finland’s most fearless modern metal force, LOST SOCIETY, return today with their explosive new studio album, Hell Is A State Of Mind, available worldwide via Nuclear Blast Records.

With this release, vocalist–guitarist Samy Elbanna, guitarist Arttu Lesonen, bassist Mirko Lehtinen, and drummer Tapani Fagerström step fully into the metallic identity they were destined to claim. Unrestrained. Unmistakable. Unapologetically their own.

From the opening moments, Hell Is A State Of Mind makes a bold declaration: this is modern metal without compromise. Where If the Sky Came Down and its predecessor No Absolutiondocumented a band exploring new creative ground after shedding their early thrash roots, the new album captures the sound of a band that has stopped searching—and started defining.

This is LOST SOCIETY distilled to their purest and most defiant form. The album asks no permission, bows to no trend, and refuses to echo anything but its own voice. Massive hooks collide with punishing heaviness, cinematic atmosphere meets raw aggression, and every track pushes the boundaries of what contemporary metal can be.

To celebrate the release, the band have unveiled a brand-new music video for the crushing single 'Kill The Light,' a blistering showcase of their raw, high-voltage stage energy that has earned them a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts in heavy music.

Fans can expect a high-voltage set packed with fan favourites, ferocious riffs, and the band’s unmistakable adrenaline-charged energy.
Supporting the run is the Finnish alternative metal outfit AWAKE AGAIN.

Multi-platinum hard rock heavyweights Drowning Pool return with a ferocious new collaboration, teaming up with rising active rock force Sorry X on their brand-new single, “THE WRONG ONE," out now through SBG Records.

The collaboration was sparked after the band discovered Sorry X’s brutal reinterpretation of Drowning Pool’s iconic anthem Bodies online.

"We stumbled on Sorry X's cover of 'Bodies' and were impressed by the sheer brutality of her vocals. On top of that Alexa sings amazing. We knew we had to collaborate on something so we reached out," says CJ Pierce.

Sorry X adds, "I’m a huge fan of Drowning Pool and I grew up listening to the 2000s nu-metal era, so I was stoked when they reached out to me. I’m really proud of how this track came together and I hope fans will feel the intensity and raw energy of this collaboration."

Drowning Pool, a name etched in the score of modern rock history, roars back into the spotlight with thunderous energy and uncompromising power. The band’s unmistakable sound, synonymous with raw energy and unapologetic attitude, returns to captivate audiences once again.

Known for their iconic anthem “Bodies,” Drowning Pool needs no introduction. This breakout single propelled them to international recognition, leaving an indelible mark on the nu metal landscape. The song’s relentless energy and defiant spirit resonated with a generation, becoming an anthem for moshers, metalheads, and fans of electrifying live performances.

Ryan McCombs played a pivotal role in the band’s evolution, joining their ranks in the aftermath of the tragic loss of beloved frontman Dave Williams. His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence breathed new life into Drowning Pool, solidifying their status as metal titans. Songs like “37 Stitches,” “Feel Like I Do,” and “Turn So Cold” catapulted them to new heights, earning them a place among the genre’s heavyweights.

Yet, Drowning Pool’s story is not just about music; it’s a testament to enduring friendships and a shared passion for their craft. Ryan’s return to the band in 2023 marks a reunion of kindred spirits, a return to the roots of their musical journey. As he succinctly puts it, “Just being back in the same room together after so many years… was a quick reminder as to why I considered them to be my best friends in the business back in the day.”

Drowning Pool’s return is a testament to the enduring power of their music, a reminder that their unapologetic spirit continues to strike chords with audiences worldwide. The band experienced a triumphant resurgence in 2023 and with new music on the horizon, a 2025 calendar proving that the demand for the band isn’t about to slow down.., Drowning Pool has a white knuckle grip on their present and future with no plans to slow down.

Beyond Creation Announce Latin American Headline Tour

From the beginning, it was clear that Beyond Creation possessed a special aura. On their debut album, the Montréal four-piece concocted the next progressive evolution in technical death metal by splicing together classic brutality and prog’s insatiable curiosity with a refreshing knack for melody. Now, in light of releasing their first new song in eight years, the Independent Music Award winners and Canadian Grammy nominees are announcing their first tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of The Aura.

Next month, Beyond Creation will tour Latin America on a special The Aura 15th anniversary tour. The band will perform the album in its entirety for the first time ever. Their setlist will include “Omnipresent Perception”, which has more than 6 million views on YouTube, and “The Deported”, the album’s epic closer, which has never been played live before in Latin America. This tour will also mark the live debut of revelatory new single “Reverence”. Joining as special guest on all ten dates are Fallujah, who are touring Latin America for the first time.

“Our 15th anniversary tour in celebration of The Aura is officially starting in Latin America next month”, Beyond Creation vocalist and guitarist Simon Girard says. “We will perform our debut album in its entirety for the first time ever!”

“Fifteen years ago, The Aura marked the beginning of our sonic journey”, Girard reflects. “A relentless and intricate force that carved a lasting legacy into the heart of the technical death metal scene. This anniversary tour is a celebration of where it all began and of everything we’ve built together since”.

Beyond Creation The Aura 15th Anniversary Latin American Tour

with special guest Fallujah

April 19 - San Jose, Costa Rica

April 20 - Bogota, Columbia

April 22 - Buenos Aires, Argentina

April 23 - Sao Paulo, Brazil

April 24 - Santiago, Columbia

April 26 - Monterrey, Mexico

April 29 - León, Mexico

April 30 - Guadalajara, Mexico

May 1 - Aguascalientes, Mexico

May 3 - Mexico City, Mexico

Before appearing out of the Canadian woodwork back in 2011, Beyond Creation had already undergone multiple permutations. But with the band’s full-length debut, the Montréal four-piece quickly revealed themselves as the next evolution in technical death metal. The Aura has been encoded in the genre’s DNA ever since.

“Laden with atmosphere, The Aura stands out from the crowded 2011 tech/death scene thanks to the prominent use of fretless bass, varying drum patterns, and experimentation with tempo”, wrote Metal Injection in a recent retrospective. “Combine that with a variety of searing vocal styles and classically-influenced, lightening-fast sweeps, The Aura is a decadent joy to the mechanically and sonically minded”.

NYC's ECCE SHNAK announces UK tour dates with music legends EMF Watch their new animated thriller video for 'Katy's Wart'

Genre-defying NYC outfit Ecce Shnak will be joining platinum-selling legends EMF for a series of UK dates in early June. The two bands toured the US west coast together in 2025 (along with Spacehog) and Ecce Shnak also features on the EMF's epic indie dance track 'LGBTQ+ Lover' in support of the marginalized queer community. The video footage was filmed during their joint tour.

In the heart of New York City’s experimental scene, Ecce Shnak has carved out a reputation for "high-wire" performance, their music is a volatile yet meticulously crafted ecosystem, where technical precision meets a sense of inspired mayhem. Pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock, the band is made up of David Roush (composer, bassist and one of two singers), Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums).

David Roush shares, "Our precious pals in the legendary dance-pop crew EMF have invited us to be the opening act for 6 joyful days in the UK early this June! You can find the details of where and when our trampucings will lead us on our website and social media accounts. So trampuce along with us. To quote EMF, “You deserve more than this world could ever give!”"

Moving towards their full-length album 'Dandy Variances' album, anticipated later this year via Records, Man Records, the band recently released their new video for 'Katy's Wart', along with its Bandcamp release. a hidden gem originally released on their 2019 'Joke Oso' album. Telling a visceral tale of justice, the new video introduces a cruel madman, who finally meets his end at the hands of five purple goddesses of righteous vengeance.

The story is presented as a three-minute 'Animated Music Feelm Version'and an immersive ten-minute 'Extended Feelm Version' with a backstory that builds tension and context, centered on a well-dressed maniac, whose harmful acts finally trigger a cosmic intervention. The heroic twin sisters ultimately fend him off with the help of otherworldly agents of chaotic justice. In a supernatural animated turning point, five spirits are conjured to deliver him a dose of instant karma.

A blistering indictment of bigotry and cruelty, this surreal narrative was brought to life through a collaboration with some of the industry’s most innovative creative minds. The project’s striking visual identity is the work of the production-direction team of Hollye Bynum and Sam Owens, along with David Roush. The eery mind-boggling animation was crafted by the titans at Titmouse Productions. With this high-fidelity animation, 'Katy’s Wart' is now a definitive piece of Ecce Shnak lore, bridging their historical catalogue with their ambitious future.

2025 was a massive year for Ecce Shnak that saw the spring release of their 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP, which was recorded and produced by Jeff Lucci, mixed by Nicholas Vernhes (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Wild Nothing, The War on Drugs) and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend).

They also released their live 'Backroom Sessions' EP and two club anthems - the Bladerunner-esque 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy (Kill Em Mix)' with German DJ-producer Eskei83 and the buoyant 'Prayer On Love (Madison Mars Remix)', in collaboration with world-famous DJ-producer Madison Mars

'Katy's Wart' can be found on digital music platforms, including BandcampSpotify and Apple Music.  Tickets for Ecce Shnak and EMF June tour dates are now available

Following the initial run, MACHINE HEAD will pivot to their acclaimed "An Evening With" format in select markets. These shows offer the full experience: deep cuts, rarities, and covers curated specifically for the die-hard fans. With no openers and no setlist restrictions, it’s a marathon of pure metal. Complementing these dates are high-billing appearances at major rock festivals—a testament to the fact that after three decades, MACHINE HEAD remains a vital force in the present tense.

Because tradition matters, MACHINE HEAD will ignite the final weeks of 2026 with an 'Evening With' holiday run. It’s that time of year when the energy is peaked, the crowds are at their loudest, and we’re all ready to lose our voices together in one last celebratory roar before the year ends.

Written in motion – on the road, in hotel rooms, and across continents – it reflects the raw energy of their return to the global festival circuit after an 11-year hiatus. UNATØNED was recorded at Robb's Jam Room, Sharkbite Studios, and Drop Of Sun Recording between July 2023 and December 2024. The album was produced by Robb Flynn as well as Zack Ohren who was also responsible for the engineering. The mixing and mastering was handled by Colin Richardson and Chris Clancy at Audioworks UK and the mastering of the record was handled by Ted Jensen and his assistant Justin Shturtz. The only exception was the track 'LANDSCAPE ØF THØRNS' which was produced by Flynn and Joel Wanasek who was also in charge of mixing the single alongside Zack Ohren. MACHINE HEAD once again tapped Seth Siro Anton to create the album artwork.

Eleven albums deep, MACHINE HEAD remains as fierce, relevant, and unstoppable as ever.

MACHINE HEAD is:
Robb Flynn | Vocals & Guitars
Jared MacEachern | Bass & Vocals

Bodysnatcher Unleash "Violent Obsession" Track and Official Music Video via MNRK Heavy

South Florida deathcore mainstays Bodysnatcher have today released their latest rager, "Violent Obsession"(via MNRK Heavy). The furious track is taken from the band's upcoming new album 'Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home' for release on Friday, April 10.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, guitarist Kyle Carter commented:

'Violent Obsession' to me expresses hate for a person to the extreme. It’s about revenge and what you wish you could do to this person who’s abused you, or taken advantage of you. It’s about obsessively living in that headspace of hatred and wanting them to feel how they made you feel.

Stream "Violent Obsession" at the link here, watch the official music video below, and pre-order 'Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home' here.

Bodysnatcher fans across the pond will have their chance to see the band on their headlining UK/EU tour beginning tomorrow in Southampton, UK. ABOUT BODYSNATCHER

Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home is the fourth full-length from Melbourne, FL deathcore outfit Bodysnatcher. It follows 2024’s brutal Will Putney-produced EP, Vile Conduct and serves up another powerful barrage of uncompromising deathcore across 10 incredible tracks that see the four-piece—Kyle Medina (vocals), Kyle Carter (guitar), Kyle Shope (bass) and Chris Whited (drums)—turn the catharsis up as loud and as visceral as it will go.

Of course, that’s nothing new for the band. If you’ve heard Vile Conduct, or any of the three albums that preceded it—2017’s Death of Me, 2020’s The Heavy Void or 2022’s Bleed-Abide—you’ll know this is a band who have always pitted themselves against personal tragedy, who have fought on individual levels against the dark depths of a despair (often inspired by their own experiences of death). Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home is no less harrowing.

“The band has always had roots lyrically in themes of betrayal, overcoming hardship, and moving on from things that happen in life and how to cope with them,” explains Medina. “Ever since the inception of Bodysnatcher, that was the theme. I do think, though, as the band has matured and we as people have grown, so have the ways to dig into the themes more. With more life experience, there are more things to draw from.”

Yet while this is still a viciously personal record, Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home is also a dark reflection of the world at large, and its current dystopia. It doesn’t just dwell on what’s happening, though. It lashes out at the way things are with a terrible, violent rage.

“I’d say a lot of today’s world plays into this album,” says Whited. “We really feel that listeners across the globe can find something to connect with in these songs. There’s a strong sense of retaliation this time around; it feels like choosing violence, fighting back against a world that feels morally lost right now.“

That manifests itself from the very beginning of this record, from the opener The Maker. A sheer assault of rage, noise, and skull-crushing riffs, it multiplies Bodysnatcher’s intensity to a degree that, even by their already intense standards, is off the charts. “'The Maker' is a raw, visceral song,” says Shope. “Bodysnatcher has always been known for unrelenting heaviness, but The Maker seems to be an even darker, more intense direction. Revenge and retaliation are themes we often use in our lyrics, however The Maker is a more direct approach. This song is as heavy as we could make it, and I know the energy is going to be electric when it is played live.

That direct darkness continues throughout the entirety of the next nine songs, from the unforgiving vengeance of Writhe And Coil and Violent Obsession through to the blistering defiance of Blade Between The Teeth and Survive Or Die. The latter features vocals from Scott Vogel, the frontman of hardcore legends Terror, a band very close to Bodysnatcher’s blackened heart. It follows the previous impressive cameo on Vile Conduct by Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta

Scott Vogel is such a pivotal and legendary voice in hardcore and heavy music,” says Medina. “Many of us in the band grew up listening to Terror, so having him appear on a song is huge for us in terms of morale and making the album feel even stronger. We had the idea when we were thinking of another voice come from the hardcore side of where the band draws from; we had Jasta on the previous EP, so we thought of another that is of equal stature, and were able to make it happen.”

Vogel’s appearance shows just how much of a mark Bodysnatcher have made on the scene. But it’s not distracting them from their intent and purpose. In fact, that only seems to have been refined as time has passed. One of the most obvious examples of that here is May Your Memory Rot, an intensely personal song full of spite, venom and trauma about somebody who was very close to Whited. “That song was written the first night we got to the studio,” says the drummer. “It was Father’s Day, which has a lot of baggage for me. I was thinking about my nephew, who lost both parents when my sister overdosed and their gang member father was murdered, and is now being raised by my mom, and my nieces, who lost their dad when my brother passed. That spiral eventually led me to someone who is, without question, one of the worst people I’ve ever known. I was lying in bed angry, so I started writing. That song is pure rage—a very direct fuck you to Mike Whited.” Yet—like the rest of this record—it’s rage with a purpose, rage full of intention, rage with hope still attached to it. Because even though it was born out of incredibly difficult circumstances, both personal and universal, Bodysnatcher’s hope is that people listening to it can find some kind of solace in it alongside all the anger and the rage.

“I won’t lie,” says Carter. “This was a hard album to put together. Every writing session was met with dead ends for months, but we were able to come out the other side with 15 demos and ended with 10 of the best songs we’ve ever made. The album is based around revenge and not bending over for people. I hope others can hear these songs and come to the same realizations we have while putting this together. Life is too short to let people walk on you or take advantage of you. Humans are monsters who betray, abuse, neglect, murder, and sometimes it feels like we’re too comfortable in the Hell that we’re in.”
