Renowned NYC artist Joan As Police Woman presents a live performance video for her now-classic track “Anyone”, following another recently-shared video, "The Ride". Both of these personal and up-close offerings preview "The Real Life Anniversary Sessions", a string of videos commemorating the 20th anniversary of her much-loved debut album "Real Life", released via UK independent Reveal Records.

Joan Wasser, known professionally as Joan As Police Woman since 2004, is a critically acclaimed musician and producer. As a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, she defies easy categorization, crafting her own sound that blends various genres. She has released ten albums of original material, two cover albums, and an anthology.

Recorded live on November 11, 2025 at The Owl Music Parlor, these endearing videos feature Wasser delivering a powerful, stripped-down performance on vocals and piano, accompanied by fellow NYC artists Will Graefe (guitar and vocals) and Jeremy Gustin(drums and vocals).

August Burns Red — Jake Luhrs (vocals); JB Brubaker (guitar); Brent Rambler (guitar); Dustin Davidson (bass); and Matt Grenier (drums) — need no introduction. For over two decades, the Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based act has been crafting its own unique brand of metalcore that has established ABR as one of the foremost acts in the genre. Their career milestones speak for themselves: Multiple placements in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 200; tours with everyone from Bullet For My Valentine to A Day To Remember; an accumulation of 600 million streams. However the band — nominated for Best Metal Performance Grammys in 2016 for the song "Identity" and again for "Invisible Enemy" in 2018 — have never stopped pushing the limits of their sound. Which brings us to today — the release of the new single "Behemoth," along with their triumphant return to Fearless Records.

"Behemoth" is, well, exactly what its title suggests. It's massive in every way — from the Herculean breakdowns to the battering ram percussion to the battle cry choruses that demand singing along! But ABR also prove that being heavy AF doesn't always mean fast and loud. They drop a quiet moment amidst the maelstrom and as they close out the song, and it's those moments that illustrate just how ferocious they are.

"'Behemoth' is a song that probably went through more revisions and changes than any song we've ever written," says Brubaker. "While frustrating at times, the conversations and re-writes were worth the effort as we collectively feel very proud of how this song turned out. BADSQUATCH Releases New Single "Such A Burden"

BADSQUATCH is an American singer/songwriter/producer based in the Midwest. A big man with a big voice, BADSQUATCH is an artist with one overwhelming presence. Adopting such a moniker would suggest nothing less, though along with the rough and gruff appearance, the music that comes out of this massive human ranges from soft and pensive acoustic tunes to bold and abrasive alt rock bangers. The material he creates generally addresses a large range of gritty subjects that are inspired by his own journey of self-discovery and what it truly means to be human.

One may recognize BADSQUATCH from his work as the frontsquatch of midwestern dystopian party rock trio The Party After, who recently released their powerhouse album Dopamine Machine in July 2025. During the recording process for the album, BADSQUATCH also wrote and recorded a large amount of material that didn’t fit the picture for the band, so he is deciding to reach into his personal archives and begin releasing music as a solo artist.

Intoxicated is a thrash/death metal band from Altamonte Springs, Florida, originally formed in 1993. Finnish rising force HOKKA announce their highly anticipated full-length album Via Miseria IV, due out on April 24 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band brings together three major names from Finland’s rock legacy: former BLIND CHANNEL frontman Joel Hokka, THE RASMUSfounding member and former guitarist-songwriter Pauli Rantasalmi, and phenomenal young drummer Jimi Aslak.

Darius Rucker Brings Big Band Gala to Charleston’s Gaillard on April 7

Charleston’s own Darius Rucker will return to the Holy City for a special one-night-only event, the Darius Rucker Big Band Gala presented by Explore Charleston, set for Tuesday, April 7 at the Gaillard Center. The gala performance offers fans a rare opportunity to experience Rucker in an elevated, intimate concert setting backed by the Robert Lewis Orchestra, conducted by Peter Graves, creating a distinctive evening tailored to the Gaillard Center stage.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the CMA Foundation’s music education initiatives for Charleston County Schools and Carolyn G. Rucker Nursing Scholarship at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, continuing Rucker’s longstanding commitment to giving back to the community that raised him.

The run opens June 10 at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club, hits New York, Philadelphia, Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Grand Rapids, and wraps June 23 at Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre. New wave icon Howard Jones will soon head out on the road for select United States tour dates in April. Jones will be main support for Rod Stewart for several shows and will also play headlining shows in between that routing. Electronic music pioneer Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past four decades, playing live in a number of different configurations including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up. Produced and mixed by metal mastermind Jason Suecof (Job for a Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder), The Boiling Sea is a high-octane proving ground for the band's new dual-vocal onslaught, first teased by the 2025 double-feature videos for "Show Me Your Goblin" and "Fiend."

On the upcoming release, guitarist Alex Alereza offers, "Writing for this release began in the midst of constant touring and right after bringing on a new vocal duo, so we found ourselves in new territories both in terms of pace and creative process. Frontperson Kitty A. Austen explains, "'Good Boy' was written to be a scathing critique of obedient, subservient men who uphold the capitalist death cult, feed the machine, and call it a virtue. It’s a snarling takedown of the so-called 'good boys' who suck corporate dick and wear their complicity like a badge."

Kitty's voice, vision, and volatility shape every inch of the band's evolving world, and she is ably partnered by co-founding member Jon James Tufnell. Together, they form the creative axis. Fusing raw industrial power, dark elegance, and hedonistic, body-moving intensity, Saint Agnes have created a sound made for sweat-soaked goth club dancefloors.
