BADSQUATCH is an American singer/songwriter/producer based in the Midwest. A big man with a big voice, BADSQUATCH is an artist with one overwhelming presence. Adopting such a moniker would suggest nothing less, though along with the rough and gruff appearance, the music that comes out of this massive human ranges from soft and pensive acoustic tunes to bold and abrasive alt rock bangers. The material he creates generally addresses a large range of gritty subjects that are inspired by his own journey of self-discovery and what it truly means to be human.
One may recognize BADSQUATCH from his work as the frontsquatch of midwestern dystopian party rock trio The Party After, who recently released their powerhouse album Dopamine Machine in July 2025. During the recording process for the album, BADSQUATCH also wrote and recorded a large amount of material that didn’t fit the picture for the band, so he is deciding to reach into his personal archives and begin releasing music as a solo artist.
His first single, out February 20th, is a dark and brooding song broaching the subject of self-loathing with inspirations from alternative and industrial artists alike. This release, titled “Such a Burden”, is the first from a collection of songs that BADSQUATCH is considering a concept album/mental health piece rooted in subjects of shadow work and addressing the darker parts of oneself, all with a goal of awareness, healing, and growing into our potentials in this unique human experience.
"To dig deep into the music to come, much like the healing process, we must first start with addressing the darkness and the shadows that are difficult to own," says Badsquatch.
Badsquatch has officially signed with new management under Pamela Parks at Headity.com. Stay tuned — strategic moves, fresh momentum, and powerful next steps are in motion.
