Midwinter Drop New Track "Champagne" and Official Music Video via Papercut Recordings

Emerging atmospheric metalcore quintet Midwinter have today unleashed their new single "Champagne" via their new label home, Papercut Recordings. The track captures the band's signature style, blending crushing heaviness and electronic dissonance with soaring vocals and moments of luminous clarity. Accompanying the release is the cinematic music video, which evokes the decadent spirit of the Roaring Twenties but emphasizes the song's theme of emotional divide when paired with the song. When asked about the inspiration and sound design of "Champagne", the band shared:

"'Champagne' is used as a metaphor to celebrate something that is actually hollow. It symbolizes escapism and temporary euphoria. At its core, the track explores abandonment and betrayal but are masked behind something generally associated with a celebration.

Sonically, we wanted to experiment with contrasting emotions. Similar to the lyrics, certain sections of the track emote feelings of beautiful nostalgia but soon give way to extreme and jarring textures. Blending these together creates a push-pull between optimistic reflection and the pain of loss."

Midwinter will also be on the road starting in April alongside Unprocessed and Allt, so be sure to get your tickets now at the link here. Stream "Champagne" here, watch the official music video below, and stay tuned for more Midwinter news coming this year.

ABOUT MIDWINTER

Midwinter carves beauty from chaos with their emotionally charged brand of progressive metalcore. Blending punishing thall-infused riffs, lush ambient layers, and introspective lyrics, the Cleveland, Ohio based five-piece explores themes of loss, identity, and healing. Their sound design is immersive and intentional—layered with glitchy textures, dissonant melodies, and experimental production techniques that push genre boundaries and elevate every emotional peak and breakdown.

A.A. WILLIAMS Unveils Haunting New Single "Wolves"

Acclaimed heavy artist A.A. WILLIAMS returns with "Wolves," a mesmerizing new single that delves into the liminal space where consciousness and subconsciousness intertwine. The track marks another powerful addition to her evocative body of work, showcasing her ability to transform abstract emotional landscapes into visceral sonic experiences.

"Wolves" is a meditation on emotional echo, on searching without resolution, and on how even the faintest memories can leave a permanent mark on the psyche. The song captures the sensation of moving through a haze, where meaning feels close but never fully defined, and where longing exists without a clear object. It speaks to the human tendency to chase feelings, moments, or versions of ourselves that exist just beyond reach.

"Wolves describes the blurred lines between dreams and reality," says A.A. WILLIAMS. "Ideas and emotions bleed across the boundary, their imprint faint but profound, a softly etched signature on your psyche. Hazy memories begin to fade, you force your feet to touch the ground, yearning for things that were never yours, hopelessly, endlessly searching for the unattainable."

“Wolves” lands as A.A. Williams continues her track across the UK and Europe. Tickets are available HERE. Both "Wolves" and the previously released single "Just A Shadow" will be available as a tour exclusive vinyl during this run.

About A.A. WILLIAMS:

Having made her debut live appearance at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands off the back of a self-titled EP, A.A. WILLIAMS has since toured across the globe with the likes of CULT OF LUNA, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, SLEEP TOKEN and THE SISTERS OF MERCY, as well as establishing herself as a headline artist - including a show at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall inside London’s Southbank Centre.

Standout festival appearances have dovetailed with two album releases - 2020’s Forever Blue and 2022’s As The Moon Rests, which both received widespread critical acclaim and put A.A. WILLIAMS firmly in the slipstream of the wave of female vocalists taking textured, epic and folk-rooted heavy music into new and progressive directions. A BBC session at the legendary Maida Vale Studios only bolstered WILLIAMS’ credentials.

Not one to rest on her laurels, she has also released a selection of ‘companion pieces’ - a collaborative single with Japanese post-rock titans MONO (“Exit In Darkness”); a solo covers collection recorded during 2020’s pandemic lockdown — Songs From Isolation — that garnered praise from THE CURE’s Robert Smith and SMASHING PUMPKINS' Billy Corgan for her unique take on their original songs; and perhaps most impressively, 2021’s arco saw the multi-instrumentalist completely rework her debut EP from rock instrumentation to a string ensemble, utilising her classical training and arrangement skills to stunning effect.

With new label partner Reigning Phoenix Music, 2026 will serve as a major milestone for A.A. WILLIAMS.

Exploring Birdsong Release Video for New Single "42"

Following back-to-back sold-out headline shows in London, alt-pop trio Exploring Birdsong step confidently into a new era with their striking new single "42."

Centered on Lynsey Ward's arresting vocals, the band unveil a richer, more expansive sound that marks a clear evolution from the organic rawness of their piano-led beginnings. "42" balances emotional depth with cinematic ambition, showcasing a maturity and sonic confidence that signals a bold new chapter for the group.

Speaking of the track, Ward shares, "'42' is a song about paranoia, conspiracy theories and confirmation bias — it is written from the perspective of someone who has lost touch with reality, seeing patterns in their day to day life that are leading them to some answer, or a warning — but never quite getting the full picture of what it could all mean. Thematically, the song was drawn from personal experience in childhood, where a few coincidences with numbers could spiral into a feeling of being 'followed' by a number or symbol, and like the storyline of the rest of your life was being written with this at the centre, or as a clue."

She expands, "Conspiracy theories are more rife than ever, especially after spreading like wildfire during the pandemic. We wanted to present this as a sympathetic look at how something so simple can go so wrong, and where that desperation can lead; a state of anxiety, isolation, and losing touch with the world around you. The great irony is that, to some degree, we have now become the people in the story. We each notice the number '42' so regularly now that we update one another every time it pops up somewhere unexpected."

Stream "42" HERE.

Exploring Birdsong have announced a headline UK tour this September. Dates start in Glasgow on the 23rd before stopping off in London and Bristol before concluding in Manchester on the 26th.

Tickets and more info HERE.

Exploring Birdsong have evolved into one of the UK’s most compelling and unclassifiable modern bands. Following a bold shift in sound first signaled by the acclaimed 2024 singles "The Collapse," "Weight in Gold," "All I Lack," and "Stitch," the three-piece have expanded their sonic palette without sacrificing the emotional intimacy and genre-blurring beauty that defines them.

Fronted by the unmistakable voice of Lynsey Ward, alongside Jonny Knight (bass, keyboards) and Matt Harrison (drums), Exploring Birdsong craft a sound that seamlessly weaves vulnerability, heaviness, and intricate songwriting into something entirely their own. Their approach to modern heavy music feels both cinematic and deeply personal, balancing raw feeling with experimental ambition.

By 2025, the band's reputation had translated into undeniable momentum. Exploring Birdsong sold out two headline shows at London's iconic St Pancras Old Church in a matter of minutes, following on from two equally sold-out headline showcases in Manchester and London the year prior. These landmark performances cemented their status as a band whose live presence resonates just as powerfully as their recordings.

The trio have previously shared stages with Katatonia and Sleep Token, alongside main stage appearances at RADAR Festival and Euroblast, further showcasing their ability to connect across scenes and audiences. Straddling pop, progressive rock, and an uncategorizable spectrum of sound, Exploring Birdsong remain largely unplaceable. Touchstones can be found in the inventive edge of Everything Everything, the dramatic flair of Kate Bush, and the synth-driven intensity of Enter Shikari — yet the result is unmistakably, and uniquely, Exploring Birdsong.

EXPLORING BIRDSONG ARE:
Lynsey Ward — Vocals, Piano
Jonny Knight — Bass, Synthesizers
Matt Harrison — Drums, Percussion

Saluted by Revolver, Loudwire, and Amazon Music as an Artist to Watch in 2025, they've become one of heavy music's biggest breakouts. With Afterglow, the quartet proves ready to ascend to the next level. Sleep Theory deliver the dynamic, heavy bounce and massive vocal hooks that the rock world desperately needs. Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp Celebrates 30 Years of Changing Lives Through Music

For 30 years, Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp has done something no one thought possible — bringing everyday musicians into rehearsal rooms, studios, and onto stages with the greatest rock legends of all time.

Founded by music industry veteran David Fishof, Rock Camp has become a global phenomenon, uniting thousands of fans and artists through a once-in-a-lifetime immersive experience. As the camp enters its 30th Anniversary year, it does so with one of the most iconic lineups in its history.

The 2026 camps feature legendary headliners including:
Roger Daltrey (The Who)
Stewart Copeland (The Police)
Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe)

Together, these artists represent three of the most influential bands in rock history — making this anniversary year a true dream lineup for music fans worldwide. Full dates and talent details are available at rockcamp.com.

Over the years, Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp has attracted an extraordinarily diverse and accomplished community. Past campers have included Coach John Benton (of the Seattle Seahawks), a former Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky, as well as college professors, doctors, lawyers, engineers, and tech innovators. Among them is Ed Oates, co-founder of Oracle, underscoring the camp’s appeal to elite thinkers and creators far beyond the music world.

Equally notable is the camp’s commitment to inclusion. Today, over 40% of Rock Camp participants are women, many of whom are exceptionally accomplished musicians. In an industry long dominated by men, Rock Camp has quietly become a place where women thrive creatively, collaborate fearlessly, and take the stage alongside the legends they admire. The camps also offer 'Women’s Only', and 'Songwriting' camps too.

Beyond the campers, Rock Camp has been equally meaningful for the artists themselves. The late Jeff Beck called the camp “the best way to give back” after everything music had given him. Roger Daltrey says in the documentary Rock Camp that the experience reminds him of what it felt like when he was just starting out. Gene Simmons has said he wishes Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp existed when he was coming up so young artists could learn directly from the legends.

The Rock Camp story has resonated deeply in popular culture, with appearances and coverage spanning The Simpsons, Billions, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, and Pawn Stars.

The documentary ROCK CAMP is currently available for free on Amazon, YouTube, and all major streaming platforms.

The Rock Camp podcast continues to spotlight unforgettable stories from artists and campers alike.

Varials Share "The Hurt Chamber" Video

Philadelphia's VARIALS  Skyler Conder, vocals; Shane Lyons, guitar; Mike Foley, bass; Sean Rauchut, drums — re-entered the chat in a massively metallic way in 2025 by announcing their new album WHERE THE LIGHT LEAVES. The album will arrive on February 27 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here.

They share the video for new single "The Hurt Chamber."

Watch it Below.

The song moves at a measured and deliberate pace, and it's one of the most melodic songs in the band's catalog. With this track, Varials, known for erecting impenetrable walls of sound and for trafficking in pure metallic fury, prove that heavier-than-granite music doesn't always have to mean fast. Heavy can also be slow and steady — and memorable. The beautifully eerie, keys-driven fade out could serve as the background music in the creepiest scene in your favorite psychological thriller.

"'The Hurt Chamber' is a song strictly about being addicted to a high that is inevitably difficult to break," says Conder. "Whether that be love, drugs, or a certain type of situation, you become blind to what's happening, all of the bad disappears because it always feels amazing. But it's doing nothing but harming you throughout every time you become close to it. The ache becomes a salvation of sorts. You enter the hurt chamber and you never want to leave."

Fun fact about the track — Conder cut his vocals in one take and on his first try. That's a rarity but the immediacy is felt in the song. And it just...worked. The band recalls, "We debated amongst ourselves on trying different ideas and melodies and adding/changing small things, but ultimately decided the original take was too good and shouldn't be messed with."

Sometimes it's best to leave things are they are.

Varials will hit the road on a headline tour this March, with Unity TX, Heavy // Hitter, and Boltcutter. All dates are below.

VARIALS ON TOUR:

3/12 — Detroit, MI — The Shelter
3/13 — Lakewood, OH — The Winchester Music Tavern
3/14 — Chicago, IL — Bottom Lounge
3/16 — Denver, CO — Marquis Theater
3/18 — Salt Lake City, UT — Soundwell

ABOUT VARIALS:
Varials deliver hardcore ferocity, monstrous breakdowns, and nu-metal groove with an adventurous atmosphere and unapologetic purpose. Born in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, Varials embody East Coast attitude and determination, pouring every ounce of struggle into their songs. Their fourth album, Where the Light Leaves, arrives with explosive energy and focus. Varials first established their place in the modern heavy landscape with Pain Again (2017) and In Darkness (2019). Tracks like "Romance," "Empire of Dirt," and "Anything to Numb" became anthems, blending metalcore strength with raw honesty that deeply resonated with audiences. Scars for You to Remember (2022) expanded that vision, further cementing their reputation as one of the most emotionally intense acts of the modern era. Produced by longtime collaborator Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Dayseeker, The Plot In You), Where the Light Leaves signifies a new chapter. An often chaotic and experimental process—creating dozens of demos—resulted in 13 songs that capture Varials at their most powerful and creatively ambitious. The performances are deliberately raw, embracing imperfections to forge an immediate, human connection. Guttural heaviness paired with new melodic textures delivers a sound that is both punishing and expansive. As demonstrated on tours with Knocked Loose, Wage War, and Kublai Khan TX, among others, Varials are a fierce and formidable live band, and that energy is reflected in Where The Light Leaves.

Filth Return With New Single "Outta Pocket" + "Welcome to Shell Town" Out 3/6

Rising North Carolina heavy hitters FILTH are ushering in their most volatile chapter yet. The band is releasing their brand new single "Outta Pocket" , alongside the official pre-save launch for their upcoming EP, Welcome to Shell Town, due out March 6.

The EP's title is a nod to the band's hometown. explains guitarist David Gantt, who says, "Shell Town is us leaning deeper into what shaped us, the music, the environment, and the mindset that came out of growing up in Shelby. This EP is a reflection of where we're from and why Filth sounds the way it does."

New single "Outta Pocket" picks up right where Southern Hostility left off — pure hostility, zero restraint, and built for maximum impact in the pit. The track serves as the opening salvo for Welcome to Shell Town, an EP that promises to be FILTH's most focused, violent, and confident release to date.

To mark the new era, FILTH will also kick off their headline "Beasts Of The East" tour, bringing their chaos directly to fans with support from Blackwater Drowning, Autumn Lies Buried, Comawaves, and Jawjacked

Expect no-frills brutality, packed rooms, and the kind of shows that leave venues shaken long after the lights come up.

If you like your deathcore filthy, groove-laden, and unapologetically hostile, then pre-save Welcome to Shell Town now.

Fearless Signs Rock Band Archers + Band Shares Video for "The Dirt"

FEARLESS RECORDS is thrilled to welcome Wisconsin-based rock bandARCHERS — Nathanael Pulley [vocals], Ben Koehler [guitar] and Grayson Mesarosh [drums] —to the label's global roster.

The band, which has forged a deeply intense connection with its fans, shares the video for "THE DIRT," its debut single for the label.

ARCHERS have emerged out of forgotten corners of the country, resonating with fans worldwide through sheer determination and unapologetic honesty. The Wisconsin-bred trio has quietly carved a path of its own, fueled by a hybrid of high-octane, pit-splitting metalcore and melodies spiked with pop precision. For their first half-decade together, the band fought to be heard, independently dropping 2015's Cuts & Bruises and tracks like "The Hills." They picked up momentum with "Bleed For This" and "Close To Me," as well as a plethora of shows. Stuck at home throughout 2020, "blackmarketmonkeymagic" cracked 1 million Spotify streams and powered the New Normal EP. Despite the distance, the band made a lasting connection by livestreaming on social media at least once per week, pulling back the curtain on rehearsals, answering fan questions, hosting merch drops, and even simply hanging out. This engagement gave rise to what has become known as the "ARCHERS Assemble Super Soft Posting Group," representing over 2,500-strong of their faithful. 2024's All That I Have Left EP spawned the likes of "Drag Me Out," "Stay This Sober," and "Bitter" —which eclipsed 10 million-plus streams. Beyond hitting the road with Asking Alexandria, From Ashes to New, and Magnolia Park, they packed houses on both sides of the pond as a headliner. Following 2025's Temporary High EP, the band decamped to Los Angeles with producer Erik Ron and jumped into the next sonic era. Now, ARCHERS take flight with a series of 2026 singles and their forthcoming debut for Fearless Records.

JENNA PAULETTE RELEASES HORSEBACK (DELUXE)

Leo33 rising singer/songwriter Jenna Paulette arrives today with her 20-track Horseback (Deluxe) album, featuring three previously unreleased songs, including a duet rendition of “The Dirt” with John Morgan. Additionally, “The Dirt” will be featured on SiriusXM’s Highway On The Horizon beginning today. Listen to it and the full Horseback (Deluxe) album Below

Produced by Will Bundy, Horseback (Deluxe) expands on the original Horseback album, released in 2024, adding depth with a glimpse into Paulette’s live show with covers of Tim McGraw’s “Cowboy In Me” and Tanya Tucker’s “Texas (When I Die),” recorded live.

“I’m excited to release the deluxe version of Horseback featuring new versions of songs on the original record — some turning into duet versions with artists and friends I admire so much, as well as a few live versions of songs I love to cover,” shares Paulette. “The album originally came out just two weeks before my daughter was born, and so much life has happened since then. Revisiting these songs now makes this chapter even more meaningful.

“One of those duets is with my dear friend John Morgan,” she adds. “I met him through our friend Jeb Gipson and before we both had record deals, he played a little guitar for me. He’s always been one of the best pickers and singers in town. Our version of ‘The Dirt’ feels complete with him on it.”

Horseback (Deluxe) contains all 13 tracks off the original album, which was released in 2024 and has already amassed 26 million streams to date. Starting with “Wild Is Her Favorite Color,” celebrating the freedom that comes with living authentically, before delving into “3 Kings,” a tip of her hat to the three kings that have influenced her lifestyle, “King George, King Ranch, King James.”

The album intertwines upbeat tracks, including previously released “Outside” and “Run The Damn Ball,” harkening back to the values of grit and hard work that Paulette has come to embody, and empowering “Darlin’,” which signals the redemption of love lost and found again. Additionally, “Steady,” which honors strength in consistency and showing up, is resonating with fans as the song breaks into the top 15 at Texas radio.

In addition to “The Dirt” with John Morgan, Paulette also finds a new spin on tracks in her duets with longtime friends and collaborators on “Chasin’ Whiskey” and “The Prophet (Grandaddy’s Song);” featuring Jake Worthington and Ashley McBryde, respectively.

And, after learning the ropes of navigating a career and newfound motherhood in 2025, Paulette recently jumped Back In The Saddle with a 26-date tour in 2026, with more shows to come.

While Paulette took a step back from touring in 2025, her business endeavors continued to expand with the launch of her Sunrise and Sunset Boots collection with Justin Boots, as well as a new Fall collection of her women’s rangewear line with Ely Cattleman, CowboyGirl.
