Ian Munsick Partners with Triple Tigers Records, Sets “Geronimo” for 1/30

When Ian Munsick departed from Warner Music Nashville in September, the Wyoming native founded his own label under which his music is released: WEST TO THE REST RECORDS. Today, Ian Munsick and his WEST TO THE REST RECORDS are announcing a partnership with Triple Tigers Records beginning with new song, “Geronimo,” available on January 30. Pre-save HERE

“Every artist dreams of partnering with a record label that not only understands their vision, but creates a clear, passionate plan on how to reach that destination. After I played some of my new music for the team at Triple Tigers, they told me exactly what songs they thought could achieve that vision,” Munsick gleams. “In a day in age where labels often rely on third parties for opinions that may or may not eventually lead to action, it was so refreshing to hear the words ‘that song is a hit’ when playing a guitar/vocal work tape for the label heads. Results are never guaranteed in the music industry, but I am confident that the combination of this new era of Ian Munsick music and the strategic workhorse of Triple Tigers will result in a true 50/50 partnership made in country and western heaven.”

“Ian Munsick is the ultimate artist: unique identifiable voice, compelling songs and perspective, established brand and a massive fanbase that is growing by leaps and bounds. We are ecstatic to partner with Ian and are ready to take country music by storm,” Triple Tigers co-presidents Kevin Herring and Annie Ortmeier shared in a joint statement.

Written by Munsick, Devin Dawson and Mike Robinson and produced by Munsick and Robinson, “Geronimo” is Munsick’s first music release off his next project since he arrived in April 2025 with his third studio album, Eagle Feather, which Holler praised for its "expansive tracks, atmospheric anthems," and Rolling Stone noted “is shaped by the landscape of the West, the stories of Native Americans, and the romantic idea of the cowboy.”

“Something tells me this is gonna be a big one…,” Munsick adds. “No word personifies the feeling of partnering with a new label, in a new year, and welcoming in the next chapter better than ‘Geronimo.’ In this song you’ll find themes of my old music like land and love but this time, blanketed in a sonic texture that perfectly captures who I am as an artist. It’s familiar yet eclectic, modern yet traditional, raw yet refined and with your help, it may very well be the biggest song I’ve ever released. Here’s to the new age… geronimo!!!”

Munsick, who has built his loyal fanbase from the ground up to selling out venues across the country, is readying his Eagle Flies Free Tour, which will kick off on February 13 in Charlotte, N.C. With additional stops in Atlanta, Ga.; Bozeman, Mont.; Portland, Ore. and more, Munsick will be joined by a rotating lineup of special guests including Lanie Gardner, Ben Haggard, Tyler Nance and Jake Worthington. Flesh Prison Signs To Papercut Recordings & Drops New Single & Video; "Sent Through A Woodchipper"

Fast-ascending Toronto deathcore outfit Flesh Prison releases "Sent Through a Woodchipper" today via Papercut Recordings, marking their first single since signing with the label. The track arrives alongside a music video and signals a heavier, more focused direction for the band. Fans can stream the new track HERE and watch the accompanying music video below.

"Sent Through a Woodchipper" channels the raw aggression of OG MySpace-era deathcore. Lyrically, the track confronts retribution and justice against those who commit heinous acts. Mixed and mastered by Cody Stewart, the song delivers the band's most visceral work to date.

On today's release, the band share

"'Sent Through a Woodchipper' is a fast, violent release of anger rooted in the raw energy of the OG MySpace deathcore era," the band shares. "Lyrically, the song explores retribution and justice against those who commit heinous acts (genocide, displacement, and abuses of power). Sonically, we wanted something aggressive, relentless, and unapologetic, with no excess or restraint. Working with Cody Stewart on the mix and master helped push the track to its heaviest and fullest form. Dropping this single and video as our first release with Paper Cut Recordings marks a new era for our band—heavier, angrier, and more focused than ever."

After releasing their debut EP in February 2025, Flesh Prison - Paul Padgett (vocals), Jesse McKay (guitar), Brett Wright (bass), and Matt Andrews (drums) - also announced today that they have signed to the recently formed artist-first independent label, Papercut Recordings. The band has accumulated 85,000 Spotify streams and 51,800 YouTube views in just over a year, maintaining consistent monthly listenership and peaking near 10,000 monthly listeners.

Flesh Prison hits the road this April with The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, Traitors, The Crimson Armada, and Nailed Shut, with dates in Quebec City (4/9), Montreal (4/10), and London, ON (4/12), with more to be announced.

ABOUT FLESH PRISON

Flesh Prison is a Toronto-based deathcore band rooted in the raw aggression of OG Myspace-era deathcore. Formed in late 2024, the band blends relentless brutality with a stripped-down, uncompromising approach. The quartet has amassed 85,000 Spotify streams and 51,800 YouTube views since their debut EP released last year and began 2026 by announcing that they signed with Papercut Recordings.

HANABIE. Release New EP 'HOT TOPIC' via Sony Music Japan

It's a great day to be a HANABIE. fan! The rising Harajuku-core quartet have today released their latest EP 'HOT TOPIC' (via Sony Music Japan), the band's latest body of new music since 2024's 'Bucchigiri Tokyo' EP. When asked about the release, vocalist Yukina commented:

"We’ve put together another EP packed with a wide variety of songs this time around. With our new tracks “ICONIC” and “Tokimeki about you” I’d love it if everyone sang along and jumped around during the chorus—I can already picture the scene in my head! I can’t wait to perform these live at our shows. “GIRL’S TALK” is a song that captures who we are right now, just as we are. “Spicy Queen”looks back to our early days and reflects that original spirit. Both of these have already been released as singles, but they’re absolutely essential in bringing color and balance to 'HOT TOPIC'. As has become something of a tradition for us, we let ourselves go all out with one playful track on an album or EP—this time, it’s “Theme of hanabienchan”. I’d love to see the confused looks on everyone’s faces when this song comes on after listening to the other four tracks! Please enjoy this EP to the fullest."

Guitarist and vocalist Matsuri shared:

"An EP perfectly suited to kick off 2026 is finally complete! This EP includes three new tracks. “ICONIC” and “Tokimeki about you” are punchy tracks that is simple x electronic with playful elements. By embracing a side that is different from usual, we feel that a new side of HANABIE. was born. “Spicy Queen” bursts with initial full-throttle impulse. “GIRL’S TALK” is a glamorous, danceable track. Closing out 'HOT TOPIC' is “Theme of hanabienchan”. This EP delivers many different expressions of HANABIE., so please enjoy listening to it from start to finish!"

Bassist Hettsu added:

"The new EP 'HOT TOPIC' features 5 tracks—3 brand‑new songs plus the already released “GIRL’S TALK” and “Spicy Queen”. Among the new songs "ICONIC" and “Tokimeki about you", we challenged ourselves with song structures and genres unlike anything we've done before. “Tokimeki about you” is our first-ever straightforward love song as HANABIE., and a key feature is the groovy sound of the instrumental section. It's a track that we feel is great to move along to, so we hope everyone who comes to our live shows will enjoy it ♪ The fifth track, “Theme of hanabienchan.”, is the theme song for HANABIE.’s unofficial character, “Hanabienchan”. As our wild-card track that is in every EP or album, it finally makes its appearance here! There might just be a second installment if there is a good response...?? With our 10th-anniversary track "Spicy Queen", a more mature side of HANABIE. in "GIRL'S TALK", and three brand-new tracks with fresh styles, we feel this EP displays a new side of HANABIE."

HANABIE. drummer Chika also shared:

"Three out of the five tracks on this EP are brand-new! The third track, “Tokimeki about you”, is my personal favorite as the drummer. I focused on creating contrast and dynamics in the drum arrangement. I especially love the moment in the first chorus where the cymbals drop out, and the strength of the rhythm section throughout the song. The fifth track is a special one—I think it will get stuck in your head once you hear it. The first track “ICONIC” also has a music video, so be sure to check that out as well. Please also notice how there is a difference on the girl’s face between the left and right sides. We put a lot of effort into all aspects of this EP, from the songs to the cover art!"

North American fans will also have their chance to see the band's high-energy, inimitable live show on their first North American headliner beginning Friday, March 13 with Nekrogoblikon and Enterprise Earth as support. 'HOT TOPIC' is available now on all streaming platforms at the link here, and be sure to get your tickets here before they're all gone.

Motionless In White Return With New Single + Video "Afraid of the Dark"

"AFRAID OF THE DARK" connects MIW's past, present, and future — mixing metallic fury with electronic embellishments. The result is a fist-in-the-air anthem that will be instantly beloved by the Motionless faithful.

"20 years ago, I stepped into a tour van with my best friends, having no idea what was next every mile we drove down the road," says singer Chris Motionless, pulling back the curtain on the song's origin story, which is rooted in the band's own history. "Funny enough, we broke down two hours later in the AM hours in a snowstorm. We had to sleep on the floor of a rest stop on the side of the Interstate and wait what felt like forever for a tow truck. We were forced to cancel the first few shows of our first tour ever, and to figure out how to scrape up every cent we could to try and get the van fixed and get back on the road. Nothing was ever going to stop us. There was never a doubt that we would find a way to live out our biggest dream and set a precedent for anything standing in our way."

He continues, "On our 20-year anniversary, that spirit is burning just as hot as it was on that day. We refuse to settle, refuse to let any opposing force stop us from clawing our way up from hell, and we refuse to fear the dark of the unknown. I want the story of MIW to inspire anyone listening to not fear the unknown, but to run head first into it with everything they've got. This song is about taking control of your destiny and writing the script of your own future without any doubt or apprehension. For those of you who have been with us for any part of the last 20 years, this one is for you. If you mean it, you will make it."

Motionless In White have been going from strength to strength for two decades, and "AFRAID OF THE DARK" is proof of that fact.

The band will spend the spring on tour supporting Bring Me the Horizon, including a performance at Madison Square Garden and at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals.

ABOUT MOTIONLESS IN WHITE:
Motionless In White have always stood out from the crowd. Mirroring alternately brutal and breathtaking sonic artistry against elegant and enigmatic imagery, the Gold-certified, Scranton, PA quintet have organically drawn legions of fans under their spell since 2006. A steady grind has elevated them to arena headliner. After earning three straight Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, 2022's Scoring The End of the World bowed at #1 on the latter, in addition to securing the band's highest position on the Billboard 200 at #12. The LP notably spawned their second RIAA Gold-certified hit and first Active Rock #1, "Masterpiece," which has leapt towards the Platinum threshold. Insidious and innate versatility has enabled them to collaborate on popular tracks with everyone from Jonathan Davis of Korn and DOOM composer Mick Gordon to Illenium and Knocked Loose. Beyond sold-out headline tours and direct support slots for Bring Me The Horizon and Slipknot, the group host, curate, and headline their own Apocalypse Fest in their hometown of Scranton. Two decades into their career, these outliers prove to be as dynamic and dangerous as ever, with a slew of new releases on the horizon for Roadrunner Records. This era begins with the single "Afraid of the Dark," infusing tightly executed metalcore with gothic overtures, industrial grit, and an arrestingly uplifting message to "follow the light in your heart and be not afraid of the dark." Welcome to the next renaissance of Motionless In White — now.

DUSTIN LYNCH & CHASE RICE TEAM UP FOR RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE SHOW APRIL 22

Adding to his list of headlining iconic venues across the nation, MULTI-PLATINUM star Dustin Lynch today (1/27) announces that he and fellow  MULTI-PLATINUM singer-songwriter Chase Rice are teaming up for a coheadlining show at RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE in Morrison, CO, on April 22. On sale to the general public on Friday (1/30) HERE, Stay Country Club members and Chase Rice Fan Club members will have exclusive first access to purchase presale tickets beginning tomorrow (1/28) at 10 a.m. MT.
“Red Rocks is such a legendary venue, I couldn’t be more pumped to be back - especially with my buddy Chase Rice joining me this time around,”
shares Lynch. “I’m excited to partner with my friends over at Coors Banquet and help in their mission to support the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. This one’s going to be special, see y’all out there!”
Presented by Coors Banquet, a percentage of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Wildland Firefighter Foundation (WFF)
. Since 2014, Coors Banquet has donated more than $2 MILLION to the WFF.
With a milestone 10 number ones at country radio, Lynch’s latest single “Easy To Love,” is currently climbing the charts. Recently, the Grand Ole Opry star wrapped 2025 with an appearance on CBS’ The Road, joining Keith Urban as his on-stage partner and co-mentor during the Tulsa, Oklahoma episode.
Rice’s history of supporting the Wildland Firefighter Foundation together with Coors Banquet dates back several years, with the hitmaker even training alongside firefighters in Idaho as part of his involvement with the Protect Our Protectors campaign in 2022. Musically, Rice’s most recent critically acclaimed album, the independent release ELDORA, arrived in late 2025 as easily the most raw, unguarded expression of his talent to date – fittingly born in the afterglow of an epic show at Red Rocks the last time he played the iconic venue.

Full ticketing details for DUSTIN LYNCH CHASE RICE RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE can be found HERE.

ABOUT DUSTIN LYNCH:
Dustin Lynch has “built one of the most consistent recording careers in modern country music” (Billboard), achieving 10 numbers ones; four Top 5 albums; MULTI-PLATINUM status with 10 RIAA-certified singles; and tallying over 5 BILLION cumulative global streams. Rolling out new music beginning with the chill summer jam “Easy To Love,” Dustin marked his milestone 10th number one with “Chevrolet (feat. Jelly Roll)” from his sixth studio album Killed The Cowboy (BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville). The follow-up to Blue In The Sky, which delivered the history-making 2X PLATINUM, six-week number one “Thinking ‘Bout You (feat. MacKenzie Porter)”—the most-played song at Country radio in 2022, landing at number one on Mediabase and number two on the Billboard Year-End Country Airplay charts—also featured hits number one “Stars Like Confetti” and “Party Mode.” Lynch has headlined packed venues to sold-out crowds like his Killed The Cowboy Tour, in addition to touring with country’s biggest names including Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton. Hosting his see-and-be-seen pool parties for the last decade, Lynch marked Wynn Nightlife’s first-ever country music artist residency in Las Vegas with his 2025 club set. Most recently, he expanded his sound with the Club Set Remixes EP—a genre-blending project featuring high-energy dance remixes of his biggest hits by top DJs including MOONLGHT and MC4D. With his latest release, Lynch unveils his first EDM original, “Home To You,” a track with MC4D that carries his unmistakable country undertone into the global dance scene. Since his PLATINUM breakout “Cowboys and Angels” in 2012, the Tennessee native has earned industry recognition as a Grand Ole Opry member, as well as high-profile nominations for the Academy of Country Music Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and CMT Music Awards.

ABOUT CHASE RICE:

Few artists have had the enduring impact on country music Chase Rice can claim – and fewer still possess the courage to leave it in the past, and blaze a new trail. A true singer-songwriter with success in both disciplines, Rice’s 15-year career has taken the Florida-born North Carolina native to chart peaks and global stages … but with his eighth studio album, ELDORA, his only destination is the American West. A 10x Platinum artist who burst onto the country scene as a Diamond certified songwriter (“Cruise”), while hits like “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” and “Eyes On You” helped Rice post two No. 1’s at Country Radio, igniting a movement through chest-thumping euphoria and bold romantic passion. He sold out international tours and shared stadium billing with Garth Brooks and Kenny Chesney, before leaving the major label system for good. Now, with full independence and over 3 billion streams to his credit, ELDORA signals Rice’s dedication to the storytelling craft. Written in Colorado and inspired by a hidden mountainside town, the 12-song set is easily the most raw, unguarded expression of Rice’s talent to date – born in the afterglow of an epic show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Working hand-in-hand with co-writer/producer Oscar Charles, Rice adopts the unfiltered, rough-hewn approach of an off-the-grid maverick, both embodying the Western mystique, and boldly going where few of his stature would dare.

UADA Announces New Acoustic Album, 'Interwoven,' Unveils Haunting Nirvana Cover

Enigmatic black metal masters UADA are pleased to now reveal that their upcoming acoustic album, 'Interwoven,' will be released on April 10 via Eisenwald Records. The album represents an acoustic journey tracing one song from each chapter of UADA's discography as well as various covers from the bands who've inspired them. In celebration, the band is now sharing a haunting version of NIRVANA's "Something in the Way," which can be found along with a video below.

The video was filmed and edited by Karl Whinnery and directed by Jake Superchi, with Evan Gandy serving as the co-director of photography.

UADA comments, "When UADA was formed, a rule was set: no covers, in pursuit of carving a wholly independent voice. With 'Interwoven,' we allowed ourselves to bend that rule. Recruiting a cellist for this project created a rare alignment—a moment to pay homage to one of the most formative and regional influences of my youth. While staying close to the original arrangement, we allowed our interpretation to take on its own bleak, glacial weight—one that echoes through the song’s timeless sorrow."

'Interwoven' is now available for pre-orders HERE.

In addition, UADA has joined forces with industrial metal artist MORTIIS for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring Wraith Knight. In addition, MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are now available HERE.

Moreover, after much demand from fans, UADA will be returning to Milwaukee Metal Fest for the second time since leaving their mark during the 2024 edition. The festival will take place at The Rave/Eagle's Club from June 4 - 7, with UADA performing on the 7th. More info and tickets can be found HERE.

"More than a sonic experiment, this album was a deliberate act of vulnerability. It was a personal and collective trial - a chance to step outside the acquainted shadows and embrace the uncertain light. The earliest intent was to craft something primitive and ritualistic, echoing the ancestral tones of ancient Pagan folk. Vocally, we anticipated a palette of whispers, chants, and throat singing. There was never a plan to explore clean, melodic singing - until an improvised vocal passage in “Djinn” revealed something unexpected. That unscripted moment sparked the foundation of what would become this album. With the band’s enthusiastic support, the recording process began - without a script, without rehearsal, and with full commitment to spontaneity and truth."

Cryptopsy Headlining 2026 Decibel Magazine Tour

After nearly three and a half decades of brutal technical supremacy, Cryptopsy are still insatiable. The most vile band in death metal finished off last year by cracking year-end lists at  Decibel, Metal Injection, BangerTV, No Clean Singing and other outlets with their latest Billboard-shaking album An Insatiable Violence. Now, as they continue to bang heads on their current European tour, the Canadian legends are proud to announce another new milestone in their Hall of Fame career.

Today, Cryptopsy are announcing that they are headlining The Decibel Magazine Tour in 2026. The band’s set during the tour’s deadly 13th run will celebrate both the coronation of An Insatiable Violence and the 30th anniversary of their Decibel Hall of Fame-inducted album None So Vile. Joining them for all 21 dates are Necrot, Fulci and Blood Monolith.

“Between the strength of the material on their latest release, An Insatiable Violence, and the anniversary celebration of their landmark, None So Vile, 2026 is clearly the year of Peak Cryptopsy”, Decibel Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief Albert Mudrian says. “We couldn’t be more honored to bring the band’s paramount present and potent past together to headline this year’s Decibel Magazine Tour”.

“We are honored to headline the 13th expedition of The Decibel Magazine Tour”, Cryptopsy’s vocalist Matt McGachy says. “Headlining the Decibel Tour while celebrating the 30th anniversary of None So Vile is surreal for us. That record changed everything, and getting to rip through our favorite songs from it every night - alongside a bunch of newer Cryptopsy tracks from An Insatiable Violence - feels like honoring where we came from while showing exactly where we are now. These shows alongside our friends in Necrot, Fulci and Blood Monolith are going to be violent, cathartic and unforgettable”.

Tickets for The Decibel Magazine Tour 2026 go on sale this Friday, January 30 at 10 am local time.

Cryptopsy recognize that not every death metal band sticks around long enough to win a Canadian Grammy 30 years into their career. The cover art for An Insatiable Violence was created by the late, great vocalist Martin Lacroix.  "The album artwork has got to be one of the most important things to us!”, the band says. “Martin Lacroix was one of our vocalists, one of our great friends and one of the nicest people that anyone could have the privilege to meet. We really wish he was here with us to share this moment. His perfect smile would say it all! Rest in peace brother".

With Cryptopsy’s latest career renaissance showing no signs of slowing down, the recent accolades are only the beginning. An Insatiable Violence reaches a new peak in a career loaded with them.

SCREAM AT THE SKY are turning temptation into gasoline as they announce their upcoming In“SIN”eration Tour, setting stages ablaze across February and March with a run that promises heat, sweat, and pure rock ‘n’ roll danger.

This isn’t just a tour — it’s an invitation. An invitation to step into the shadows, turn the volume past reason, and surrender to a band that thrives on tension, release, and raw connection. Night after night, SCREAM AT THE SKY bring a sound that’s equal parts seductive and savage, blending crushing riffs, soaring vocals, and a pulse you feel long after the lights

go down.

Every song hits like a slow burn that explodes without warning — the kind of live experience you don’t scroll past, you live inside.

With new fire behind them and a reputation for commanding the stage, SCREAM AT THE SKYare ready to leave their mark city by city. Fans should expect heavy grooves, dangerous hooks, and performances that feel more like a confession than a concert.

ABOUT BODYSNATCHER:

There are many clichés about battling adversity. That if you fall down, you get back up again. That what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. That it’s the journey that’s important, not the end result. That the struggle is worth it, that you need to suffer to make great art. It’s not always true, of course, but Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home (via MNRK Heavy) certainly makes a strong case for that argument. The fourth full-length from Melbourne, FL deathcore outfit Bodysnatcher, it follows 2024’s brutal Will Putney-produced EP, Vile Conduct and serves up another powerful barrage of uncompromising deathcore across 10 incredible tracks that see the four-piece—Kyle Medina (vocals), Kyle Carter (guitar), Kyle Shope (bass) and Chris Whited (drums)—turn the catharsis up as loud and as visceral as it will go.

Of course, that’s nothing new for the band. If you’ve heard Vile Conduct, or any of the three albums that preceded it—2017’s Death of Me, 2020’s The Heavy Void or 2022’s Bleed-Abide—you’ll know this is a band who have always pitted themselves against personal tragedy, who have fought on individual levels against the dark depths of a despair (often inspired by their own experiences of death). Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home is no less harrowing.

Take Me To Texas: George Strait Adds In-The-Round Austin, Texas Performances

With stadium shows set for Clemson, SC and Lubbock, TX this year George Strait announces two additional shows at Moody Center in Austin, TX, in-the-round on Thursday, April 9, and Saturday, April 11, 2026 (tickets on sale on Friday, January 30 at 10 a.m. local time at georgestrait.com).

Fans can expect an intimate evening of timeless hits along with new favorites off Cowboys and Dreamers performed center stage, in the round. Opening both shows is fellow Texas native, newcomer William Beckmann.

With fewer shows a year, Strait’s one-off stadium shows in 2024 included A&M’s Kyle Field playing one of the largest single ticketed concerts in U.S. history with 110,905 fans in attendance for George Strait: The King at Kyle Field. He followed that record-breaking performance with only five live shows in 2025 with stops in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxboro and Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium.

Of his stop at SoFi Stadium last summer Variety noted, “fans would maintain that the privilege of still having him kicking around is all theirs” while reflecting on what Strait does best, “pick great songs, sing even better and exude a quiet, uncocky confidence that would make anyone feel patriotic about country as a genre.”

The Boston Globe said of his stop at Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium last year, “Strait skipped the pyrotechnics and let his voice do the heavy lifting,” making it easy to see why Pollstar once opined, “Strait remains the most worthy inheritor of Merle Haggard or Willie Nelson’s mantle of country icon through the meaningful fluidity with which he moves through country’s various sub-strains with the same ease and enjoyment that marked both men’s Country Music Hall of Fame careers.”

In addition to his upcoming live performances at Austin, TX, Clemson, SC and Lubbock, TX, Strait was celebrated at the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors in December, recognizing his lifetime of contributions to American culture through the performing arts and next month he will be inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame this February, paying tribute to his enduring impact as both a performer and songwriter whose influence has shaped generations of country music.

It’s been 15 years since The New York Times praised Strait as “a country superstar in complete command of his gift,” and with the arrival of his 31st studio album for MCA last year, Cowboys And Dreamers, that statement rings just as true. Filled with classic country honky-tonkers about drinkin’ and not thinkin’ as well as sad songs and ballads about loss and cheatin’, listen to the album Cowboys & Indians Magazine notes is “a cornucopia of trad-country-arrangement beauty,” HERE.

The follow-up to Honky Tonk Time Machine, Strait’s 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album, Cowboys And Dreamers was named “album of the week” by Associated Press, and features 13 new songs, including “Three Drinks Behind,” “MIA Down in MIA,” “The Little Things,” the 2026 GRAMMY-nominated “Honky Tonk Hall Of Fame” featuring Chris Stapleton and Strait’s rendition of Waylon Jennings’ “Waymore’s Blues,” which all have made appearances in his live set.

About George Strait:
George Strait is the unambiguous "King of Country Music," with over 100 million RIAA certifications while earning more than 60 major entertainment industry awards as well as countless nominations and becoming the only act in history to have a Top 10 hit every year for over three decades. The Texas troubadour released his 31st career studio album Cowboys And Dreamers last year, following 2019’s best-selling Country album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, on MCA Nashville. The latter produced by Strait and Chuck Ainlay, the album quickly became Strait’s record-extending 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album. The Country Music Hall of Fame member earned his 100th entry on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with his single “The Weight of the Badge” from the project. Having already set an indoor ticketed attendance record in 2014 at AT&T Stadium on his Cowboy Rides Away Tour, in June 2024 with 104,793 fans in attendance, he bested his own attendance record with over 110,905 fans in attendance at his “King at Kyle Field” show in College Station. And Strait has proven himself as deft with a pen as he is commanding a stadium of thousands, co-writing some of his biggest hits such as fan favorites, “Here for a Good Time” and “Living for the Night,” as well as the powerful, heartfelt ballad “I Believe.” As generous as he is talented, Strait’s Vaqueros del Mar golf tournament and benefit concert has raised over $17 million for the Feherty’s Troops First Foundation and most recently his Strait To The Heart benefit raised over $7 million for those affected by the flooding in Texas. He and wife Norma also established the Jenifer Strait Foundation to preserve the memory of their daughter and have raised millions for children’s organizations. In addition, every time Strait takes the stage he is joined by Retired Lt. General Leroy Sisco to present a new home to a wounded hero, delivering his 127th home presentation last July in Los Angeles via Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Homes 4 Wounded Heroes Program.

About William Beckmann:
Making modern country music with a refined edge, emerging artist William Beckmann embodies timeless, sophisticated swagger, with songs built for the mainstream, but also built to last. With his album, Whiskey Lies & Alibis, the young Texas native joins a retro revival in the modern format’s core, and pushes it further down the road. A student of the classics – from classic country to classic pop, classic rock, and even classic mariachi – Beckmann grew up in the border town of Del Rio, Texas, enamored with the classic cool of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and Frank Sinatra, plus the Eagles, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, George Strait, and the traditional Mexican music of his bilingual roots. Developing a deep, dark-honey baritone with natural vibrato, he first found a foothold on the Texas tour circuit, dressed to kill and with a timeless sound to match. After catching the attention of hometown hero Radney Foster (who helped dial in his classically-charged songwriting), and Randy Rogers (who took the young artist on tour, helping craft a stately stage magnetism), two self-styled EPs and a 2023 Opry debut built Beckmann’s buzz, along with tours with Parker McCollum, Charley Crockett, and more. Co-writing eight of 12 songs with elite hit makers such as Jessie Jo Dillion, Jesse Frasure, and Rhett Akins, Beckmann’s neo-classic signature is clear on Whiskey Lies & Alibis. With an organic sound defined by dusky baritone guitars and pedal steel, plus a rumbling, resonate vocal, it captures the vast loneliness of a windblown desert landscape, and the throbbing pulse of a honky tonk with equal power. And central to each track, lies the bitter sting of lost love. After playing more than 100 shows a year in 2022 and 2023, Beckmann now returns to the road with a bold mission in mind: Not just to cosplay the classic country style, but to bring its values back, with head held high.

The cover artwork for Endless Woe was created by Final Dose vocalist BF and can be found below along with the tracklist and running times.

Forged in the aftermath of relentless movement and creative unrest, London's Final Dose returns with Endless Woe, an EP of vicious, and unrelenting hostile blackened punk violence.

Endless Woe follows up the debauchery of Under the Eternal Shadow, with five tracks that strip their blackened punk assault to its rawest core, distilling the band’s ethos into a harsher, more confrontational form. Short, vicious, and devoid of excess, Endless Woe sharpens aggression into purpose, pushing ferality and despair to the forefront.

Yet beneath the surface violence, Endless Woe carries a suffocating emotional weight. Subtle melodic fractures, desolate pacing shifts, and moments of stark bleakness inject a sense of hopeless repetition, mirroring the EP’s title in both sound and spirit; no catharsis, no escape, only the grinding continuation of inner collapse and inner turmoil

To be released by Wolves of Hades on January 28 on LP and MC, Endless Woe stands as a concentrated statement of fury and misery.

POISON THE WELL released the definitive album The Opposite of December... A Season of Separation in December 1999 and it went on to become a benchmark of the genre that has inspired a generation of bands. The album was chosen as one of the "15 '90s Metalcore Albums That Still Resonate Today" by Brooklyn Vegan; as one of the "21 Best U.S. Metalcore Albums of All Time" by Kerrang!; as one of the "25 Best Metalcore Albums of All Time" by Loudwire; and as one of the "Top 60 Best Hard Rock Albums of All Time" by Revolver. Its influence is indisputable.

The Barbarians of California Are Back With "Bomb to a Knife Fight" Video + Tour Dates With Poison the Well + GN'R

The West Coast's contribution to hardcore punk is undeniable. That tradition of aggression, passion, and scrappy melodicism continues with The Barbarians Of California, an engaging new manifestation of iconoclastic spirit and true bombast. Featuring Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION and Eric Stenman of Tinfed, as well as being a noted producer, TBOC are equal opportunity iconoclasts, gleefully thrashing the left and the right in the hardcore-punk tradition of nonconformity and raw fury. The band isn't "political," because they aren't advocating for anyone's platform. The central message is defiance.

The band kicks off 2026 with the roaring new single "Bomb To A Knife Fight."

Watch the video below.

"'Bomb To A Knife Fight' was the first song we completed after finishing our first-ever tour with Deftones and IDLES," the band offers. "You'd have to imagine that the perspective of playing live every night played a part in the creation of this song. Also, our love of old-school hip-hop may shine through a little on this one."
In addition to performing at ShipRocked 2026 later this month, TBOC will serve as support for Guns N' Roses for two shows this summer.

The band will also embark on several dates supporting Poison the Well and Converge in the spring.

All upcoming and confirmed live shows are below.

In late 2025, TBOC also shared the video for "LISTEN TO "PSEUDO INTELLECTUALS ARE HATING ON MY BAND!!! (pure power)," featuring Keith Buckley. The track is as angular as it is angry. Watch the video here. In the summer, the band dropped the also-ripping single "MODERN FASHION." Watch the video here. The band's debut album And Now I'm Just Gnashing My Teeth arrived in 2024. Get it here.

ABOUT THE BARBARIANS OF CALIFORNIA:
So, who, exactly, are The Barbarians of California? Here's a refresher.

Eric Stenman and Aaron Bruno first collided in the California hardcore scene of the early '90s. Stenman cut his teeth in the same Sacramento community that eventually launched diverse and disparate acts like Deftones, Far, Will Haven, Team Sleep, Hella, Death Grips, and Trash Talk. Bruno was born and raised just north of L.A. and nicknamed "AWOL" by his high school friends.  Eric played guitar for cutting-edge, electro-infused rockers Tinfed. Commercial success eluded them despite a cult following, a deal with a major label, and an appearance on the M:I 2 soundtrack.  Bruno co-founded the hardcore band Insurgence as a teenager. His next band, Home Town Hero, toured with Weezer and Stone Temple Pilots and released a major label album, but combusted in 2004. Next came Under The Influence Of Giants, who, despite critical acclaim, disbanded in 2008. Stenman became one of the most sought-after producers of alternative rock. His discography as a producer, mixer, and engineer includes important releases from 7 Seconds, Senses Fail, ††† (Crosses), and AWOLNATION. AWOLNATION, of course, is the multi-platinum act Bruno formed in 2009.

The spirit of the underground and the personal catharsis delivered through metallic hardcore never left either of them. So, when Aaron learned that Eric crafted a batch of throwback bangers combining impassioned angst with modern sensibilities, he wanted in immediately. The Barbarians were born.  The apparent "full circle" moment isn't lost on either of them. "It's a funny time in our lives to go back and make the most aggressive music we've ever created," Stenman laughs. “Both of us have always had a love for this world. If given the opportunity, why not try to give back to it?"

The Gloom In The Corner Erupt With "Nope (Hollow Point Elysium)" Video

Erupting into 2026 ahead of the upcoming release of their third full-length album, Royal Discordance, due out February 27 via SharpTone Records, Melbourne's The Gloom In The Corner returns with a brand new single and accompanying visualizer "Nope (Hollow Point Elysium)."

A rhapsodic outing cleaving together sinuous verses and blistering dynamic shifts, "Nope (Hollow Point Elysium)" also hurls thematic pop culture nods deep into its core, emerging as a gripping and expansive step deeper once again into the Gloom Cinematic Universe.

"'Nope' is the ode to some of my favorite action movies and video games growing up," the band shares of their latest single. "A bullet ballet for metalcore that will — much like the definition of 'Hollow Point Elysium' — blow your head smooth off."

Watch the visualizer for "Nope (Hollow Point Elysium)" Below:

A record that could readily soundtrack an Anime epic, a Netflix smash series, or a sprawling open-world game, Royal Discordance is certainly not your average metalcore album. An action-packed opus hell-bent on sharp narratives and astonishing sonic dexterity, Royal Discordance journeys between an all-out onslaught (previous single "Assassination Run") through to cinematic-yet-sinister brutality on "Nope (Hollow Point Elysium)," grinning chaotic frenzy on "You Didn't Like Me Then (You Won't Like Me Now)," and a double closing sucker punch via the two-track suite "Love 1: A Quaver Through the Pale" and "Love 2: A Walk Amongst The Poppy Fields."

Insatiably showcasing their relentless pursuit for sonic evolution, and recorded in 2024 with producer Jonathan Delese in Nashville, Tennessee, Royal Discordance also ushers in some of Gloom's most universal songs to date, all while remaining true to their chaotic core in the process. Whether channeling My Chemical Romance and positivity or penning pit-splitting breakdowns, The Gloom In The Corner balance their tumultuous creative DNA with an album primed for multiple revisits; and one that devoutly treads new ground.

Over the years, The Gloom In The Corner have engineered a space for total sensory immersion via a series of releases, spanning their 2016 debut album Fear Me, through to their Homecoming EP (2017), Flesh & Bones (2019), Ultima Pluvia EP (2020) and their 2022 album Trinity, with the latter commanding a 5/5 star album review from New Noise Magazine, praising it as "a real stunner and a benchmark for metalcore going forward." Translating their rich sonic universe into a live setting, The Gloom In The Corner have dazzled stages around the globe, spanning Australia, Europe and North America, along with aligning a horde of elite collaborators including Fit For A King's Ryan Kirby, Fit For An Autopsy's Joe BadolatoCane Hill's Elijah Witt and many more.

Closing out 2025 in Europe supporting Swedish metalcore greats Aviana, The Gloom In The Corner will support American heavies King 810 nationally in Australia this March, and will also perform this October as part of the entirely sold out inaugural Hellbound Cruise alongside Parkway Drive, Polaris and more.
