Black Veil Brides Debut Video for First New Track of 2025 — The Blistering "Hallelujah"

On the heels of a successful tour alongside Baby Metal, Black Veil Brides are back with their first piece of new music since 2024's chart-topping single "Bleeders." The band — comprised of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma — return to their roots with the aggressive new track "Hallelujah." The Tampa, Florida based choir "One Voice Ensemble" also lent their talents to the recording. The song is being released by their label partners Spinefarm and was produced by Biersack and Pitts. "Hallelujah" is now available via all digital service providers here.

"'Hallelujah' is an important song for us, not only because it is the first track from the new record, but also as a signifier of what's to come for the band. On a narrative level, it represents the themes and ideas I am exploring lyrically on the album. I am fascinated by the current state of discourse and how often we seem to prioritize ideological certainty over the heart and soul of humanity. Over the years, we have developed a tremendous connection with our audience, which is often dismissed or misinterpreted by the 'scene.' We stand at a unique inflection point culturally and I want to be able to speak openly about how much I believe in being true to yourself over the fear of mass hysteria or in-group recriminations," explains Biersack. "When my grandfather's voice spoke to 'the outcasts' in the first moments of our first record in 2010, it was a sincere call to arms for all those who feel different. In many ways this record is the natural evolution of that same idea. This is the heaviest and most vitriolic BVB record by far but more importantly I believe it is the most sincere and honest record we have ever made."

To coincide with the new single, Black Veil Brides are releasing an animated video for "Hallelujah." The video is directed by Marco Pavone (The Black Dahlia Murder, Pink Floyd, Shadow of Intent). The band will continue to release more visual content over the coming months to support the new song. A teaser for the track got fans in a frenzy when it was released last week.

The band will also be touring in support of the new single. The song will make its live performance debut at Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA on July 26. Black Veil Brides will also be making appearances at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY (September 20), Rock The Locks Festival in Umatilla, OR (September 26), and Aftershock Festival (October 5) before heading to South America for six headline shows. The We Missed Ourselves Tour 2025 will also feature Underoath, Silverstein, Senses Fail, and I Set My Friends On Fire. OF LIMBO Share Introspective New "Unplugged" LP

Long Beach, CA Rockers OF LIMBO are sharing an introspective side of their music with the release of the new “Unplugged” album.  Known for their raucous live shows and hard driving, heavy rock & roll, this new LP showcases a more thoughtful and deeper dive into their lyrical and musical abilities. The album showcases a reflective, acoustic sound with a mix of original songs and covers of 3 of their personal favorites.  The LP was self-produced and mixed at their home studio, and mastered by Brian Frederick of Long Beach Mastering.

The LP’s focus track is a cover of the iconic Radiohead track “Street Spirit”.  The song delves into the seeming inevitability of troubles and strife in life – and ultimately finding solace in love. The ethereal vocals, supported by the steady acoustic guitar line resemble the constant beating of a heart.  OF LIMBO’s Jake Davies says “My all-time most loved Radiohead song. I am so proud of Luke’s guitar work on this cover.  He wrote some guitar harmonies that really take it somewhere special. Our friend Lucas Holter from Whiskey & The Wolves is featured with us on this one and knocked it absolutely out of the park with his vocals. I got chills hearing him lay down his takes.”

The video for “Street Spirit” was directed by Brandon Vancour.  It was filmed on a beach in the Belmont shore neighborhood in Long Beach.  Jake explains “Radiohead’s video for this song is one of my favorite videos of all time. We knew we weren’t gonna be driving an airstream onto the beach and slow-mo me falling off it etc.  But we wanted to pay homage to the source material. Black and white, slow-motion moments - very dreamy. Lucas Holter gave a great performance in the video as well - Super proud of this one.”

The band is starting to play live shows in support of the album release, with a more extensive tour being booked for the fall.

The Iron Roses Return With "AGITPOP" EP Out 9/11 + Share "Class War Cheer Squad"

"'Class War Cheer Squad' is easily the most lyrically direct song in our collection so far," explains Nat Gray. "To the point and going for the throat is the mantra here: '1,2,3,4, I declare a class war!' You don't get much more to the point than that, folks. We are all being failed by systems which demand our submission and praise while giving nothing in return, and where has it gotten us? The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the middle class is effectively eliminated. The ruling class whine and moan about the pittance going into social service programs, but never ask where the next several billion in bomb money will come from. We are tired of the lies, the manipulation, and the scapegoating of marginalized communities in order to fear-monger people into voting against their best interests."

Gray finishes, "As punk artists, humans, and musicians, we find it our duty to speak up when many can't (or won't), because isn't that what this platform was always meant for? Just 3-4 simple chords and an axe to grind with power, authority, and oppression. Enjoy!"

About the EP, the band offered the following update.

"We began writing new music in the Winter of 2024, high from an incredible year of growth as a band, and just before the political climate became, once again, dangerously oppressive and hateful," shares Becky Fontaine. "Initially, the songs flowed out as they usually do for us: Anthems of hope in a world that feels hopeless. Songs of joyful resistance. Energetic, uplifting, sociopolitically-driven pieces that served to remind us all that there is a piece of the human experience that cannot be commodified."

Fontaine continues, "But when mid-January 2025 rolled around, we, like so many within our community, were absolutely devastated at the reckless power that took the throne. Writing became our only reprieve from doom-scrolling, grief, and anxiety. There were literal days where Nat or myself couldn't get off the couch, and days when songs were so frantically bursting out of us, one of us might be in tears and the other might be three steps from panic as we fought to tell the stories that needed to be told in the voices that needed to be heard. It quickly became apparent that this new collection of songs was being very strongly informed by the landscape we were in."

Fontaine further pulls back the curtain, "Every single day another horrific order was being announced. Every single day an even more bold attack against human rights, opportunity, equity and autonomy. What shaped itself from our work over those several months were songs that had a bit more frustration and defiance weaved into them, while still holding on to that tangible joy and playfulness that is The Iron Roses Way. It felt really good to be able to take that dichotomy and propel it even further. We truly challenged each other this time around, pushing and pulling each other through the painful parts of songwriting, fine tuning how to bring out the best of what two passionate frontwomen and four of the most talented musicians have to offer."

In conclusion, Fontaine states, "As the world did little to heal itself, and with the worst of humanity becoming somehow even more overt, we decided there was no reason to wait to bring some of these songs to life. We had already recorded them in Pedro's studio, and really needed to release these three songs in this huge moment of history as a reminder that it is OK to be angry and scared and frustrated. You can still fight when you are scared. It feels powerful to take up our protest into our own hands, and we hope that these songs provide the cheerleading people need to get back up, even when bloody and bruised, and show the enemy you won't be erased so easily."

On Innern, Der Weg Einer Freiheit continue their evolution as one of the most emotionally resonant voices in modern black metal. Anchored in existential introspection and produced entirely by the band’s vocalist and guitarist Nikita Kamprad, the album presents six tracks that move from disintegration to reckoning and renewal.

“Eos” stands at the heart of the album’s journey. The song reminds us that from the grave of war, life returns rooted in sorrow, reaching toward light. Its journey begins in restraint, with guitars echoing in mournful dialogue. Then a pulse emerges beneath, a low-end rumble of bass accompanied by the drums’ ritualistic cadence. From this stillness, the track bursts into a maelstrom. Searing guitars and a punishing rhythm come together, presenting black metal at its most unrelenting. Kamprad’s anguished vocals tie the violence to its aftermath, rendering grief inseparable from transformation.

Within Innern, “Eos” functions as both accusation and elegy. The song reflects on nature’s quiet, uncompromising justice. Over time, life stirs in silence; the red, blood-soaked soil gives way to green. The Earth begins to dance once more. During the song’s final act, the war’s architect is overtaken by the same regenerative force, dragged down from his throne and absorbed into the soil.

This August, SQUID PISSER launches a gut-churning month-long U.S. rampage with bloodthirsty Aussies King Parrot and the crushing behemoth Bonginator unleashing a relentless maelstrom of sweat, spit, and sonic bile. Along the way, they’ll infect the twisted chaos of Gathering of the Juggalos before closing the carnage by tearing it wide open for the infamous O Sees in Los Angeles.

After hurling their bile-soaked 2024 full-length ‘Dreams of Puke’ into the world, SQUID PISSER is back in the slime trenches, wrangling fresh abominations with noise conjurer Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Big Business). The new filth is bubbling just beneath the surface, ready to rip open your brain with mutated riffs and corrosive noise.

Mixed by Converge’s Kurt Ballou, the album is a head-on collision of manic pedalboard wizardry, savage drums, and creepy alien vocals. Following that, 'Dreams of Puke' pushed the band’s sonic depravity even further—melding grind, noise rock, and mathcore into a dizzying, high-speed barrage. The album features even more left-field experimentation, unhinged tempo shifts, and grotesque lyrical absurdity. Visually tied together by the disturbing artwork of Gregory Jacobsen (Lovely Little Girls), 'Dreams of Puke' cements SQUID PISSER’s reputation as genre-melting chaos dealers with zero interest in playing it safe.

On stage, the band resembles a horde of mutant cephalopods: flickering lights, fuzzy coats, crowd-invading vocals, mosh-pit invasions, and pure disorientation. Platinum-selling, billion-streaming rock band BEARTOOTH — Caleb Shomo, vocals; Zach Huston, guitars; Will Deely, guitars; Oshie Bichar, bass; and Connor Denis, drums — made their hometown arena debut with an absolutely monumental show at The Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio on January 18, 2025. 

It was pyrotechnic spectacle and one of the most memorable shows of the band's career thus far.

The show happened hot on the heels of their most successful tour to date — spanning 60+ shows across North America and over 100k tickets sold — and after the release of their chart-topping fifth album The Surface, which earned the band their first pair of #1 singles at U.S. Active Rock radio ("Might Love Myself" + "I Was Alive").

ABOUT BEARTOOTH:
Caleb Shomo first turned the pain of his struggle with mental health and self-image into music in 2013. Beartooth began as a living document, a diary, a journal of repressed rage and depression. Alone in his basement studio, screaming and singing, playing all the instruments, and self-producing a batch of furious but melodic songs filled with reflection and confession, the Ohio native stared into the abyss, initially with no intention of returning to the heavy music world that burned him as a teen.

George Strait Sets Intimate Hill Country Flood Fundraiser: Sunday, July 27 at 6:30pm

In the wake of the catastrophic flooding that has impacted so many lives across Texas’ Hill Country, it is impossible to watch the news without feeling the heartbreak of this disaster. Entire communities have been devastated, and families are mourning the loss of their children and loved ones.
 
In response, Texan George Strait alongside businessman and Vaqueros del Mar partner of 15-years, Tom Cusick, are organizing a special benefit dinner and concert in Boerne, Texas, “Strait To The Heart,” at Estancia at Thunder Valley indoor arena.

“The destruction and loss in our community from the recent flood is hard to wrap your head around,” shares Strait. “Our hearts and prayers are with you all. The goal with this event is to raise meaningful, immediate support that can be put directly into the hands of flood victims without delay, while also honoring the first responders that work tirelessly to save lives.

LANIE GARDNER ANNOUNCES SOPHOMORE ALBUM FADED POLAROIDS, DUE SEPTEMBER 5

Named by the Recording Academy as a “2025 Artist to Watch,” Lanie Gardner has officially announced her highly anticipated sophomore album Faded Polaroids, set for release on September 5 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Alongside the announcement, the North Carolina native has released the album’s powerful lead song, “High Divin,’” featuring legendary Fleetwood Mac co-founder Mick Fleetwood on the drums. A full-circle moment for the 25-year-old artist — whose breakout came from a viral cover of “Dreams” (now at over 100M views) — “High Divin’” is an atmospheric anthem with a heart of self-reflection. Wrapped in shimmering guitars and soaring vocals, it captures the emotional leap of the journey of self-sabotage, while honoring the path that led her there.

“It’s one of the most important songs on the album for me,” Gardner shares. “I was going through a pretty rough patch and needed to give myself a little tough love.”

Produced by Oscar Charles, Jonathan Singleton, Chris Ganoudis and Don Miggs, Faded Polaroids expands on the raw honesty of Gardner’s 2024 debut A Songwriter’s Diary, offering a sonic scrapbook of self-discovery, family roots, romantic twists, and personal healing. “I created the idea of Faded Polaroids using actual polaroids. Some brand new, others nicotine-stained, withered, torn and worn from being passed down through the years,” says Gardner. “It felt like zooming out on my whole life and finally seeing the bigger picture. These snapshots — these songs — are the most beautiful parts of me. They tell the story of where I come from, who I come from, what I’ve learned and who I’m becoming. Born and raised in the tiny Appalachian mountain town of Burnsville, NC, Gardner grew up in a family of natural musicians, learning to sing from her mother and guitar from her father. If you went to Warped Tour in the mid 2000’s, shopped at Hot Topic, or were active on Myspace; then you have heard the name “Attack Attack!” While the band’s early career was relatively short-lived, their reputation has done nothing but grow since the band went on indefinite hiatus in 2013. Icons of goth and doom, PARADISE LOST have revealed the second single, ‘Serpent on the Cross,’ from their long-awaited, 17th album Ascension that’s out September 19th from Nuclear Blast Records.

Commenting on the song, vocalist Nick Holmes says:

"The cross represents stability, prosperity, hope and happiness. The serpent represents trepidation, anguish and overbearing sadness, lurking in the shadows ready to take everything away."

PARADISE LOST’s first album in 5 years, following 2020’s critically acclaimed Obsidian, was produced by guitarist Gregor Mackintosh and mixed/mastered by Lawrence Mackrory. Ascension is a testament to the band’s longevity and relevance over their 35+ year career, encompassing their signature styles of gothic, death and doom fans have cherished along the way.

Ascension’s album cover fittingly features the painting The Court of Death (1870-1902) by renowned British artist George Frederic Watts, which hangs in the Tate Gallery in London. The painting depicts Death as an enthroned angel flanked by allegorical figures of Silence and Mystery guarding sunrise and the star of hope, while a warrior surrenders his sword and a duke his coronet, showing that worldly status offers no protection. The painting’s bleak, prophetic vision embodies Ascension’s dark, tormented soundscapes as mournful verses collide with dire, foreboding riffs.

Commenting on the record, Holmes states:

"Ascension is a cavalcade of molten misery, a vigorous sorrow filled stroll through a wicked world of glorious triumph and pitiful tragedy."

Born of Osiris New Album 'Through Shadows' Out Now (via Sumerian Records) + Release "The War That You Are"

Progressive metalcore pioneers Born of Osiris celebrate the release of their new album 'Through Shadows' out today (via Sumerian Records). Along with the album, the band have shared their new official video for track "The War That You Are". Leading up to today, the band have released "Torchbearer", "A Mind Short Circuiting", "Elevate", "In Desolation", and the titular track "Through Shadows" which altogether have amassed nearly 2 million views on YouTube. Speaking about the album release, the band commented:
