Ministry Releases First-Ever Music Video For “I’ll Do Anything For You,” The Latest Single From “The Squirrely Years Revisited,

Al Jourgensen wearing heart-shaped sunglasses, pigtails, and a shirt that says “I’m Adorable”? Yes, that’s what you’ll see in the brand-new, first-time-ever video for Ministry’s oldie but goodie hit, “I’ll Do Anything For You.”

See the video helmed by Vicente Cordero and Ben Garcia Below:

It’s all part of the continuing “when hell freezes over” moments that have been the hallmarks of Ministry’s latest work, The Squirrely Years Revisited (out now via Cleopatra Records) that sees Jourgensen making peace with the past by reexamining his long-dormant synth pop hits and giving them a fresh polish 40 years later.

And the band is having a helluva fun time doing so. On the ongoing The Squirrely Years Tour, wrapping up June 5, Jourgensen, alongside John Bechdel (keyboards), Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto (guitars), Pepe Clarke Magaña (drums), Paul D’Amour (bass) and two backup Squirrelette singers have been getting rave reviews for the blast from-the-past shows:

“Ministry sauntered onto the stage like a sparkly-swirled, aromatic bulldozer to take Brooklyn back to a bastardized time in music when synth-pop bounced over the air like a dazzling gleam of exploding stars” —Metal Insider

“In diving back into their sleaziest, funkiest, most absurd incarnation, Ministry gave Chicago a homecoming worth dancing—and twitching—to.” —Metal Planet Music

“For once, it feels like Jourgensen is not taking himself too seriously. He’s just having fun with the songs and the crowd. The costumes are silly, the visuals are funny, and the backup dancers are over the top, but it only adds to the celebration. The show was nothing but a good time. … It may just be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You never know if Uncle Al and Ministry will perform these songs again.” —Illinois Entertainer

“Ministry’s performance was more than a set — it was a sonic reckoning. From the crushing instrumentation to the blistering visuals, the show felt like a full-frontal confrontation with the chaos of the modern world. The crowd didn’t just watch — they absorbed it, reacted to it, and walked away a little rattled in the best way possible.” —Concert Crap

Tickets are still available for the remaining The Squirrely Years Tour dates at MinistryBand.com.

Featuring 9 tracks (3 additional bonus tracks on CD), The Squirrely Years Revisited offers reworked versions of not only “I’ll Do Anything For You,” but also “Work For Love,”I’m Not An Effigy” and “Everyday Is Halloween” alongside that song’s first-ever music video.

ABOUT MINISTRY

Born in 1981 in Chicago, Ministry has been the lifetime passion project of founder Al Jourgensen, considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. In its early days, Ministry was identifiable by its heavy synth-pop material in line with the new sounds and technology that were being developed in the ‘80s. Ministry’s output began with four 12” singles on Wax Trax! Records in 1981 before the first LP With Sympathy in 1983 via Arista Records. As time progressed however, so did Ministry, quickly developing a harsher, and more stylized sound that the band soon became infamous for on seminal albums Twitch (1986), The Land of Rape and Honey (1988), and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste (1989). With the release of Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and The Way to Suck Eggs (1992), Ministry hit an all-time high in the mainstream musical realm and received its first Grammy nomination. In total, Ministry has been nominated for a Grammy award six times. Eight more albums would follow before an indefinite break in 2013, only to be unearthed again in 2018 with AmeriKKKant, continuing to reflect Jourgensen’s views on the frightening state of society and politics. The 2021 album Moral Hygiene marked a new creative era of Jourgensen and the band. Ministry’s 16th studio album, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, was released March 1, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Chase Rice Expands 'Go Down Singin' International Tour' with 13 New Dates

After an incredible response to the launch of his already-extended Go Down Singin’ International Tour, which kicked off in Australia ahead of dates across the U.S. and Canada throughout the summer, multi-Platinum singer-songwriter Chase Rice again expands the run with 13 additional dates announced today. Tickets to the newly added shows go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 30 at 10 a.m. local time via ChaseRice.com.

Bringing Rice’s critically acclaimed album Go Down Singin’ to audiences across the globe, the remaining stops on the tour see him joined by fellow singer-songwriters Cory Asbury, Wade Bowen, Gritty Flyright, Tyler Halverson, Hannah McFarland, McCoy Moore, Drake White and Charlie Worsham across various dates (see full listing below; support assets available HERE).

The international run highlights Rice’s widely celebrated artistic evolution in a live setting. As Billboard declares, “his new music leans toward rootsier, raw-rock driven sounds, trading party anthems for introspective lyrical themes,” while “his voice conveys a crackling warmth of self-reflection and an easy-going comfortableness with his new sound.” Rolling Stone highlights the album as “an excellent collection of poignant, often anthemic country,” noting that it finds Rice “trying to do what creative people are supposed to: grow and change,” while Cowboys & Indians proclaims that “maturity and clarity are the reality on Chase Rice's new album… one of 2024’s most well-received country albums.”

Rice further showcased this new direction with surprise follow-up project Fireside Sessions, which features all 25 songs from both Go Down Singin’ and prior album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell as live, single-take versions with cowriters including Lori McKenna, Jackson Dean, Hunter Phelps, Randy Montana and more as featured artists.

His latest offering, the brand-new Live From Chief’s EP released in Friday, March as a surprise for fans, includes Rice’s takes on two songs from his heroes – Eric Church’s “Carolina” and George Strait’s “I Can Still Make Cheyenne” – as well as the previously unreleased original, “Cowboy Goodbye.” Listen HERE.

Kenny Chesney Wraps 1st Sphere Weekend: Grace Potter, Island Requests, Boys of Fall

For a man who can’t stay in one place very long, Kenny Chesney is creating an even deeper sense of what one of America’s best loved collection of songs means with each night of his residency at Sphere Las Vegas. Even with the high intensity visual media, the intensely dialed in sound and an intimacy afforded by the immersive venue configuration, what stands out more than anything is the unwavering connection between the high energy East Tennessee born artist and No Shoes Nation.

Early in the show on Sunday night, Chesney stood at his mic and confessed, “I rarely take requests, but there are some people here from the islands… and they said, ‘We’ve heard all the hits, now play us something from the heart.’ Regaling the capacity crowd with the story of how life becomes art, he went completely off-script to deliver a tender take on “Old Blue Chair,” the semi-title track from Be as You Are: Songs from an Old Blue Chair.

With people lining up to get into his Guitars, Tiki Bars & A Whole Lotta Love experience at 3:30 the first few mornings the free activation at the Venetian was open, the fervor for the songwriter/superstar set a bar for opening weekend that was palpable. After Kelsea Ballerini dropped in on opening night, Grace Potter arrived for the weekend and a sultry take on the double GRAMMY-nominated “You & Tequila.”

Dressed in thigh high vintage Ann Klein boots of many colors panels, she embodied the rock & roll spirit expected from the fiery roots songstress. “It’s not often our circles converge anymore,” Chesney says of the woman recently profiled in The New York Times, “because she has a life of her own, but when it does, it’s magical.”

Parade raved, “Country legend leaves fans speechless during ‘absolutely unreal’ show,” while ABC News called it “historic” and even Jambase proclaimed he “doubled down.” But it was USA Today who offered the deepest dive, headlining their review, “Kenny Chesney delivers vibrant, visually arresting feast at Sphere Las Vegas” – and calling the show “a technicolor wonder” and writing “It’s as much a concert as a sonic and visual roller-coaster ride pairing one of the most acclaimed stars of country with the evolving technological wizardry of the Sphere.”

Whether dedicating the power of girls who fearlessly dream rocker “Big Star” to two-time Academy of Country Music Lainey Wilson, who snuck in to see the show on a rare night off, or making an audible and playing “The Boys of Fall,” because Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid and Minnesota Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell were in the house, each night’s shows are being tailored to the moment and the chemistry within.

“Having friends stop by, having friends get up on stage,” Chesney says, “this is about creating a whole new experience for No Shoes Nation. Something that could only happen here – a venue built around this groundbreaking technology – I’m so grateful so many members of No Shoes Nation were willing to travel to the desert to experience this with us. It’s strange in the best way: the intensity, the immersion, the way songs come to life almost literally.

“The animation with Kracker? The midway for ‘Til It’s Gone’? To literally be in a fish bowl? How could we not habe those experiences? But even more, hearing the audience sing that second chorus on ‘American Kids’ with such joy? You can tell their hitting another gear from the joy in their voices.”

The only country artist to be in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years for the last 15 years, Chesney joins the very select handful of cultural icons and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees U2, (Grateful) Dead & Company and the Eagles, plus Phish to play the 17,600-seat spherical venue that deploys next-generation technologies.

Over a year in the making, Chesney and his team, along with experts from Sphere Studios’ advanced tech and creative teams, captured content. They’ve created and captured myriad worlds, from the University of Tennessee’s Volunteers rushing onto the field to underwater adventures, candy skulls, iconic moments, lighthouse entanglements, NASCAR cams and the rush of being onstage at a stadium show.

Drawing on songs never performed live, including the sweeping “One Lonely Island” and a mesmerizing “Seven Days,” the farflung show also creates an intimacy never before seen in Chesney’s massive stadium concerts. For all the fans of the man from Tennessee, this is Kenny Chesney as he’s known and loved, but also as he’s never been seen before.

Eric Church Brings “Evangeline vs. The Machine Live” to The Pinnacle for Two Nights Only

When Eric Church’s Evangeline vs. The Machine Live shows at The Pinnacle were announced in March, the superstar and CMA Entertainer of the Year winner told fans it would be a pair of performances like nothing they’d ever seen. The Church Choir quickly sold out the underplays at just 4,500-capacity-times-two before ever hearing the album that was released on May 2, 2025. And the anticipation was at its peak by showtime! With many showing up in “Eric Fucking Church” and “Concert for Carolina” merch, the Church Choir was ready.

As fans entered the venue, they were met by camera controllers and security in hazmat suits embroidered with Church’s Evangeline vs. The Machine album insignia “M” signifying the “Machine” before a 27-minute visual intro that appropriately included Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine,” played. The crowd erupted upon seeing his 6-piece band, 4-piece horns, 4-piece strings, 8-piece choir and vocalist Joanna Cotten entering the stage to “Run Like Hell” chanting “Chief, Chief” before the North Carolinian appeared up center stage.

Performing his eighth studio album front-to-back before transitioning into his catalog hits reimagined with this expanded musical collaboation – including “Desperate Man,” “Give Me Back My Hometown,” “Sinners Like Me,” “Mistress Named Music” and “Springsteen” among others – the two-hour set saw Church equally as ardent as the audience.

“We created a show that’s only gonna be seen for these two nights,” Church said on stage Saturday night. “My favorite times as a music fan is knowing I’m seeing something live. Not on YouTube, not on TikTok, but live, as I knew I’d never be in that moment ever again. And that is the power of music… and the genesis of these shows.”

Whether transitioning from Evangeline vs. The Machine’s album closer “Clap Hands” to “Desperate Man,” or citing the sax-solo on “Springsteen,” Whiskey Riff notes Church’s album release shows “showed off not only his country music street cred but also wove in the rock, blues and soul sounds that have influenced the man behind the sunglasses.”

The song is featured alongside current single “Hands Of Time” on his brand new album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, marking his first new music since 2021’s Heart & Soul triple album (“Stick That In Your Country Song,” “Hell Of A View”). That project followed prior releases including RIAA Gold-certified Desperate Man (“Some Of It,” “Desperate Man”), Platinum-certified Sinners Like Me (“How ’Bout You,” “Guys Like Me”), Carolina (“Smoke a Little Smoke,” “Love Your Love the Most”) and Mr. Misunderstood (“Record Year,” “Round Here Buzz”), Double-Platinum certified The Outsiders (“Like a Wrecking Ball,” “Talladega”) and 4x Platinum-certified Chief (“Springsteen,” “Drink In My Hand”), as well as 32 Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum certified songs. GWAR's 40th Anniversary Celebration continues this summer with 'The Return of Gor Gor,' the new multimedia release due out on July 25th!

'The Return of Gor Gor' includes three brand-new studio tracks—mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge)—plus four blistering live recordings from 2024, mixed by Chris Ronan Murphy. The release comes bundled with a 32-page full-color comic, resurrecting the legendary monster Gor Gor in an over-the-top visual bloodbath.

Blothar comments on 'The Return of Gor Gor':

"The last time I saw Gor Gor he was just a wee fart dragon. He had crawled on the hood of my Kia Soul and was holding on for dear life while I drove to the store to buy Clamato. I bathed him in wiper fluid and used my wipers to knock him off my sweet ride. Next thing I know, he’s a 20-foot tall trans-species prostitute working a pickle park. Apparently, he’s all grown up and looking for revenge. This record chronicles his struggles as a young Dino-American trying to make his way in a cruel world."

MALEVOLENCE - Release Video For New Single 'Salt The Wound'

Steel City Kings MALEVOLENCE have released a new single from their massively anticipated new album, Where Only The Truth Is Spoken, which is set to be released on the 20th June via MLVLTD in partnership with Nuclear Blast Records.

Compared to the punishing previous singles, 'Trenches' and 'If It's All The Same To You' the brand new release 'Salt The Wound' shows a more emotional side of MALEVOLENCE, but that only makes its incredibly heavy chorus stand out even more.

Alex Taylor (vocals) commented:
'Salt The Wound' is the product of us making a conscious decision to bridge the two faces of Malevolence. On one hand we have the heavy aggressive side, and on the other we have the slower melodic songs, so we wanted a song that could combine the two.

The video was entirely shot in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. From the industrial depths of Sheffield, a 900-year-old ruined Abbey, to a perfect sunrise over some of the incredible hills of Derbyshire, there is some incredible scenery in the north of the UK which we sometimes take for granted, so this song felt like the perfect opportunity to show case some of that.

From the moment I heard the guitar solo Josh had written for this song, I pictured him on a mountain top doing the solo, so we made it happen, Malev style!

ABOUT MALEVOLENCE

MALEVOLENCE have never waited for permission. From the underground to festival main stages, they’ve built their reputation on sheer force of will, crushing live shows, and an unshakable foundation of heavy riffs and harder work. Now, with their fourth studio album Where Only The Truth Is Spoken, Sheffield’s finest step into a new league.

Recorded in California at Dave Grohl’s legendary Studio 606, the album was tracked through the iconic Neve 8078 console, the same desk that captured game-changing records like Nirvana’s Nevermind, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, and Tom Petty’s Wildflowers. For a band that’s always pushed forward without compromise, it was the perfect setting to carve out a record that represents everything MALEVOLENCE stands for. The album marks a new level of songwriting precision without sacrificing the band’s trademark weight. Working alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira, Trivium), the result is MALEVOLENCE at their most punishing, urgent, and anthemic.

Lyrically, Where Only The Truth Is Spoken reflects the principles that MALEVOLENCE have lived by since day one—honesty, loyalty, and integrity. These are not just themes woven into the album but values the band holds in their personal and professional lives. This record doesn’t deal in facades or empty gestures; it’s an unfiltered expression of the struggles, victories, and unshakable brotherhood that have carried them this far.

WITCHES RIDE Drop New Album "Collector" on 6/19, Unveil Music Video for Single “Among the Crowd”

Prepare for the ritual. Dark groove band Witches Ride are set to unleash their long-awaited new album Collector on June 19th, 2025. Alongside the album announcement, the band has dropped a gripping new music video for the single, “Among the Crowd.”

Described by the band as “a bit of a dark rock opera about a preacher who loses his following and sells his soul to the devil in hopes of getting it back,” Collector plunges listeners into a shadowy world of damnation and redemption.

Collector will be available on all major platforms June 19, 2025.

Welcome to Witches Ride.

Pre-Order Collector

https://loadedbomb.com/collector-pre-order

WATCH the Official Music Video for "Among the Crowd" Below:

Witches Ride is a dark groove machine—part Southern-fried chaos, part industrial ritual. Fusing the bone-crushing swagger of Clutch with the sinister theatrics of Marilyn Manson, this band rides the line between dirty rock ‘n’ roll and occult-fueled spectacle. Think smoke, sweat, and distortion—wrapped in velvet and barbed wire.

Driven by thunderous riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and snarling vocals, Witches Ridebrings a unique alchemy to the stage. With the keys casting eerie atmospheres and haunted textures, the sound is as cinematic as it is feral—blues-born, hell-bound, and soaked in gasoline.

Every show is a ceremony. Every song is a spell. And once you’re under, there’s no turning back.

Welcome to Witches Ride.

Kenny Chesney Gets His SPHERE On, No Shoes Nation Finds A New Dimension

They came in rhinestones, flip-flops, grass skirts, stilettos, Bermuda shorts, cowboy boots, Hawaiian shirts and a couple Low Key Bob Fan Club tees. Whatever the look, they all had the same mission: to see where Kenny Chesney was taking No Shoes Nation with his 2025 Vegas Sphere residency, his only live appearances this year.

Triumphantly taking the stage after a far-reaching DJ set by Brandi Cyrus, the East Tennessean kicked off with the longstanding classic “Beer In Mexico” as sugar skulls rained down and animated skulls danced and drank long neck cervezas from Sphere’s wraparound video wall. Between the rush of the band, the intensity of the visuals and the anticipation in the house, the energy onstage and in the room was palpable. But even more, the anticipation of the fans who’d been in line for several hours was met with an integrated experience of sonics, visuals, musicians and heart that met that built-up excitement straight on.

Whether it was the technicolor immersion of cell phones in an aquatic tank in “Welcome to the Fish Bowl,” a song Chesney wrote 15 years ago to take on the invasiveness of social media, the multi-dimensional midway carnival of “Til It’s Gone” or the almost overwhelming swirl of tiles featuring images from the “Noise” video, Chesney and the Revival met the moment – and the increased production values – with a real passion that saw an audience dancing and clapping with stadium-sized abandon.

“It’s overwhelming a little,” Chesney says, “beyond the visuals, which build and move, the fans are so close – even in the 400 section – that you’re consumed by all of it when you look up. But it makes you feel so alive to have everyone right there, rocking, singing and almost beyond being in the moment.”

When Kelsea Ballerini appeared on top of a small riser in a mirror sequined mini dress and high ponytail, it was clear this will be a residence of real surprises. Reaching out to his friend and “half of my hometown” partner, the pair blazed through an unplanned “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” as well as their No. 1 duet and Ballerini sitting in for Grace Potter on “You & Tequila.”

“We have the ability to add things in, change it up,” the artist who’s done surprise college bar tours, beach takeovers on the Alabama/Florida line, two dozen major stadiums a summer and three consecutive nights at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium says of the flexibility. “Even with this 4-D production, we can keep the spontaneity and in the moment magic that have made our shows a revival and right of summer for the last twenty years.”

The only country artist to be in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years for the last 15 years, Chesney joins the very select handful of cultural icons and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees U2, (Grateful) Dead & Company and the Eagles, plus Phish for four very singular concerts to play the 17,600-seat spherical venue deploys next-generation technologies. The world’s highest resolution LED display wraps up, over and around the audience, creating a fully immersive visual environment.

Over a year in the making, Chesney and his team, along with experts from Sphere Studios’ advanced tech and creative teams, captured content, as well deployed cutting-edge animation techniques, to create a whole new experience in how the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar’s music is experienced. It all came together last night in Las Vegas where the crowd roared with delight, took over “American Kids” and “Anything But Mine” with a fervor that matched the largest stadium shows.

Drawing on songs never performed live, including the sweeping “One Lonely Island” and a mesmerizing “Seven Days,” the songs also took on an intimacy to match the moment. For everyone who’d traveled to the Nevada desert for the first time ever, not only were their expectations more than met, the window to what’s possible over the next several weeks has been opened. Get ready.

“We knew as we rehearsed in Sphere the last couple days this was going to be intense,” Chesney explains. “But nothing can prepare you for seeing No Shoes Nation flying through the underwater landscapes, coming over the top of pirate ships and being dropped into a pin ball machine. The looks of joy, awe and total wow on their faces did all of our hearts good.

“I can’t believe we have to wait until Saturday night to do it all over again.”

Limited tickets remain for the Sphere residency at KennyChesney.com with packages available via Vibee, the official VIP Concert & Hotel Package partner for Kenny Chesney’s Live at Sphere residency, at KennyChesney.Vibee.com. All Vibee packages offer guests a choice of premium tickets including Sandbar (general admission floor) or reserved seating, a collectable laminate and lanyard, access to the No Shoes Island VIP Pool Party, exclusive Kenny Chesney curated gift bag and early access to the Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love experience on show days for crowd-free shopping on exclusive merch items, and access to a dedicated shopping lane during public hours. Vibee Hotel Packages include a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas (The Venetian or The Palazzo) or Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

LAINEY WILSON’S NEW SINGLE “SOMEWHERE OVER LAREDO” OUT TODAY

6x ACM, 9x CMA and Grammy Award-winning artist Lainey Wilson’s new single, “Somewhere Over Laredo,” is out today via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Listen Below.

Written by Wilson, Trannie Anderson, Dallas Wilson and Andy Albert, the song honors the timeless classic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” while showcasing Wilson’s poignant storytelling and authentic country sound, as she reflects on past love and pays tribute to small towns across the country.

Wilson will perform the song live for the first time at the 2025 American Music Awards this Monday, May 26, where she is nominated for Favorite Female Country Artist.

Officially impacting radio this Tuesday, May 27 via Broken Bow Records, fans will hear the new track as it world premieres across all major U.S. Country Radio Stations today.

The release adds to yet another triumphant year for Wilson, who won four awards at the 60th Annual ACM Awards earlier this month: Entertainer of the Year (her second consecutive win), Female Artist of the Year (her third consecutive win), Album of the Year (Whirlwind) and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. During the awards ceremony, she also debuted new song, “Trailblazer,” with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert, which she wrote with Lambert and Brandy Clark.

Additionally, Wilson is in the midst of her nearly sold-out Whirlwind World Tour, which includes stops at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Austin’s Moody Center, Baton Rouge’s Raising Cane’s River Center Arena and Denver’s Ball Arena among many others. The upcoming dates follow the tour’s first leg—a completely sold-out extensive run across the U.K and Europe earlier this year. See below for the complete tour itinerary. Full details can be found at www.laineywilson.com/tour.

In just the past year, Wilson was also inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, performed during the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Halftime Show, won Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards and two awards at the 58th CMA Awards, where she also made her hosting debut alongside Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan. Wilson also received two awards at this year’s ACM Honors: the prestigious Triple Crown Award—presented to those who have won ACM Entertainer of the Year, Female/Male Vocalist of the Year and New Female/Male Vocalist of the Year—and the Milestone Award, which is given to an artist who has had an unprecedented or outstanding year in country music.

A prolific and sought-after songwriter, Wilson has scored eight #1 hits including “4x4xU,” “Watermelon Moonshine” and the 2x Platinum Certified “Heart Like A Truck,” and has collaborated with artists such as Post Malone (“Nosedive”), Cole Swindell (“Never Say Never”), Jelly Roll (“Save Me”), HARDY (“wait in the truck”) and Myles Smith (“Nice To Meet You”). She is also a triple threat within entertainment as a singer, songwriter and actor and will make her feature film acting debut in next year’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him, after first acting in Paramount’s hit television series, Yellowstone. Moreover, Wilson wrote and recorded “Out of Oklahoma,” which was featured in the new Twisters movie.

In a world where everyone knows everything, Dragged Into Sunlight evoke intrigue and mystery.

Since 2006, Dragged Into Sunlight have built a reputation for their dark, atmospheric, and often disturbing sound, combining heavy, pulverising riffs with raw, abrasive vocals and intricate arrangements. The collective explore themes of violence, despair, and the macabre, blending the extremity of black metal's dissonance with the weighty, oppressive spirit of doom. Their compositions are best characterised by a relentless, chaotic atmosphere, often eschewing traditional death metal song structures in favour of long, immersive tracks that defy genre standards.

Dragged Into Sunlight’s sonic warfare is accompanied by an equally obscure and mystifying live performance, delivering striking, minimalist visual aesthetics in the cover of darkness. The band’s enigmatic and ritualistic approach to their stage presence further enhances their dynamic sound.

027 Releases New Single “Umbilical Cord” OUT TODAY!

As of recently, 027 has been toiling away in their storage unit rehearsal space. Practicing and writing new material while trying to learn from each other and grow through their music. The result is a powerful new single, “Umbilical Cord,” out today! It’s a teaser for the magnitude of what is to come for this Ontario band. Producing their music in their basement recording studio, 027 aspires to create art and to inspire others to do the same!

Intensity abounds in this stunning new track from 027. The intro is jerky and atonal, leading to a double-time wallop of angry vocals and head-banging ferocity. This is arguably the band’s most toe-tapping number yet as it conjures images of grinding mosh

pits and flying elbows while the catchy riffs hold up the edges. “Umbilical Cord” is a true harbinger of 027’s increasingly evolving musical maturity.

The band calls it a “cute and adventurous track we have enjoyed playing live for quite some time.”

Today 027 is also releasing their self-titled album that compiles one new song alongside a selection of pre-released tracks spanning from 2023 to 2025. Acting as both a retrospective and a powerful statement of identity, '027' captures the full scope of the band’s evolution—from the raw grit of their earliest DIY recordings to the sharpened chaos of their most recent work.

The album is a curated journey through their sonic development, offering fans old and new a cohesive snapshot of the trio’s relentless drive, genre-defying riffs, and unfiltered energy that have become their trademark. It stands not just as a release, but as a declaration of who 027 is—and where they're heading next.

Order '027' + Other Merch HERE

027 (pronounced zero two seven) is an energetic fuzz-rock trio shaking Ontario’s underground music scene with raw, unfiltered energy since 2022. Known not only for their crushing live fuzz-rock but for putting on live shows and being stalwarts of the scene they have come up in, this young band puts passion and vigor into self-producing and promoting their music and shows.

The band’s sonic force is powered by a lifelong friendship between Keagan Ross(guitars/vocals) and Caleb Lavictoire (bass). Bonding over music in elementary school, the two played in bands throughout public school. In November 2022, Keagan scored a gig opening for a popular local band. Although he didn't formally have a band assembled, he quickly put together what is now 027. Caleb and Gray Laine (drummer) had never met until that point, and they played that first show having never practiced or rehearsed as a three-piece. The rest, as they say, is history.

The trio loved jamming together and found a similar ethos ran between the two best friends and their new cohort. In spring of 2023, 027 self-produced their first EP, ‘Light Of The Black Sun,’ printing CD jackets using their school’s printers and paper and burning the discs themselves. The band followed up the following spring with an intense EP entitled ‘You’re Not Supposed to Know,’ released in March of 2024.

Definitive supporters of the youth, 027 are committed to only playing venues that allow all ages, and they do their best to book younger bands on their bills to allow them the same exposure they strive for themselves. They are currently working hard on expanding their live audience with multiple Ontario dates already set for May. Rendering a sound that blends punk, metal, stoner rock, and fuzzcore.

Exuberant NYC quintet Ecce Shnak share 'Backroom Sessions' EP and 'Fight Song' video

NYC experimental rock quintet Ecce Shnak has released their 'Backroom Sessions' EP via Records, Man Records, recorded at Backroom Studios in Rockaway, NJ. This 4-song live set arrives ahead of the band's West coast tour this June with platinum-selling legends Spacehog and EMF.

Ecce Shnak has also shared a raucous video for 'Fight Song' (Live), a hard-hitting track with a potent message, offering an ironic take on violence and addressing today's rampant spread of hate-filled vitriol. They earlier shared another track from this EP - their groove-inducing opus 'Prayer On Love' (Live).

Ecce Shnak is David Roush (composer, bassist and one of two singers), Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums). Where fervent brilliance blurs into absolute, uncontainable madness, there resides Ecce Shnak, balanced precariously upon an illuminated sonic high wire.

David Roush explains, "While we originally filmed these performances for our YouTube channel, we felt the audio worked as a thrilling scamper through old material and new material alike. In addition, we are finishing a new full-length album and wanted to have something to tide you over, dear Shnak’iversian, until its release next Spring. So until we can share 'Dandy Variances' with you all, here are the “Backroom Sessions.” We so hope you love them tremendously!"

Rejecting conventional aesthetics, Ecce Shnak (pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock) whimsically incorporates diverse artistic expressions, tackling profound subjects and intriguing minutiae with remarkable clarity. Building on the success of their recently-released debut 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP,

"The hardcore slammer 'Fight Song' is not a Katy Perry cover. Instead, it is a djent-forward ramble on the ubiquity of violence in human life, be it literal or metaphorical. It was originally an ironic joke when it was released on our first EP, 'Letters to German Vasquez Rubio' in 2012," says David Roush.

"We decided to change the lyrics and release a new version in reaction to the rancid bigotries that so plague the human spirit nowadays, in America and elsewhere. The final line is a call to defend our basic human freedoms while we still have them: “Fight for your right to fight!”"

Ecce Shnak's recently-released debut 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP showcases incomparable ingenuity and limitless invention, blending art-rock and punk energy with some unexpected twists. Between its title track, web-mocking 'The Internet', sensual 'Prayer on Love', folk ballad 'Stroll With Me', and 150-second hammering lead track 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy', Ecce Shnak presents a powerful debut effort that is intricately constructed, methodically fashioned, undeniably offbeat and truly entertaining.

Recorded and produced by Jeff Lucci at the Art Farm (NY), this EP was mixed by Nicholas Vernhes  (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Wild Nothing, The War on Drugs) and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend).

The 'Backroom Sessions' EP is out now, available from fine digital music platforms, includingSpotifyApple Music, YouTube Music and Bandcamp. In June, Ecce Shnak is touring the West coast with platinum-selling legendsSpacehogandEMF. Kicking things off in San Jose on June 14, the tour wraps up on June 28 in Las Vegas. Tickets for the Spacehog / EMF / Ecce Shnak tour are on sale now.

Kenny's SO Ready for SPHERE: One Day + Counting...

They loaded in at midnight Sunday. They were up and running Sunday evening. They’ve been rehearsing since Monday, feeling the arc of a whole new set list, songs rarely or never before played – and, of course, many of the favorites of No Shoes Nation.

Almost a year in the making, Kenny Chesney is ready to kick-off his much-vaunted residency at Sphere. All the technology, the vibrance, the ability to immerse No Shoes Nation in the songs that are their life is finally about to happen.

“You can’t truly imagine it,” says the leader of No Shoes Nation. “When people say you have to experience it to really understand, they aren’t kidding. Even with all the simulators, the special editing facilities, the way we have approached rehearsals, it wasn’t until we got inside Sphere that me, the band, the crew and all our road family truly got it. It is a whole other world – and I can’t wait for the people who’ve loved this music so intensely to experience this.

“Experience, because it’s so much more than just seeing a concert.”

A no-holds-barred musical experience, Chesney has refashioned his notoriously quick-hitting set list to create a new live dynamic for his shows. An energetic and emotional rollercoaster, this residency will take fans deeper into the music through the super-specific mix by legendary sound engineer Robert Scovill, the all-new visual presentation and a few surprises the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar has pulled together for this once-in-a-lifetime kind of concert opportunity.

“Keeping the focus on these songs,” the man Wall Street Journal calls “The King of the Road” says, “it made us really creative. Some of what we shot, the way the sound is being sculpted, we’re taking these songs deeper into what they can be – and when we got onstage to start rehearsing, everybody was blown away by how much more every single song seemed to mean.”

As Rolling Stone reported, “No Shoes Nation fandom will descend upon Las Vegas in May… The shows will be a rare chance to see Chesney outside of the massive football stadiums he usually hits on tour.” That means anyone who’s ever heard their life or found their meaning in his 33 No. 1’s and myriad Top 5 and Top 10 hits can get ready for a festival that binds what Variety calls “a concert-going community rivaled perhaps only by Parrotheads and Deadheads” together.

And that starts before the show. Grab a drink at the Spread the Love Bar, an amalgamation of Kenny’s favorite bars at the end of the world and get your vibe right. Hit Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love to experience his journey, no need to even have a ticket to the show! Free to all, spread the love and take that positive energy into the world – or into Sphere where Brandi Cyrus will be throwing down a DJ set to get people dancing, feeling good and ready.

“You really do have to experience it to feel how deep this goes,” Chesney says. “We can’t wait to get everybody into the room to feel that energy. We are always coming to rock No Shoes Nation, and they rock us right back. Something tells me this is going to be even more intense.”

Oak, Ash & Thorn Announce U.S. Tour

While they're just beginning to kindle the fires for their first offering since signing with Season of Mist, Oak, Ash & Thorn continue to fan the flames from their latest album. Following a mead-crushing performance at Decibel Metal & Beer Fest Denver and hammer-thrusting support dates with inspirations Týr, now, freshly armed as a five-piece, the blackened pagan power metal band are announcing their next tour.

This August, Oak, Ash & Thorn will play six special shows across the Midwest and Southwest. This ship sets sail with a lights-out set in front of their home crowd at Mile High Power Fest and ends with a triumphant return to the nearby kingdom of Colorado Springs. Along the way, the band will dock in Lawrence, Dallas, Austin and Albuquerque for the very first time. Not only is this also their first tour since adding newly knighted axeman Kadin Wisniewski. Along with Our Grief Is Thus, they'll be polishing off an old battle hymn and unsheathing brand new magical odes off their yet-to-be-announced third album.

"Peasants of the Midwest and the Southwest, give heed!" declares Oak, Ash & Thorn. "We, the barbarian war horde of clan Oak, Ash & Thorn, throb with anticipation to man the OATBoat in summer's dying days and set sail across the open...uh...plains? - for lands hitherto unconquered! Lawrence, Austin, Dallas, Albuquerque: lock up your livestock, your gold, your mead and your prettiest among you, for we shall depart from the port of Denver for your shores for the first time ever with fists a-pumping, axes a-swinging! Cower before us as we pillage and plunder amidst rousing choruses of our most stirring battle hymns, including some newly composed, freshly imbued with runic magic that the gods would grant us fortune time and again. Only after quenching our thirst for conquest shall we return to our kingdom in the mountains, our vessel piled high with riches and the spoils of victory, and there shall we celebrate our triumph with a feast in the halls of the great stronghold of Colorado Springs. Hone then your weapons, study your scrolls and join us in bloody revelry!"

Erik Hoffman - Bass
Cierra White - Drums

Origin: Denver, CO
Genre: Blackened Pagan Power Metal

While only loosely constructed as a concept album, with Our Grief is Thus, Oak, Ash & Thorn have built a monumental record. Every song deals with grief in some fashion. "Dying Culture" is about the decay of tradition by way of urbanization and generational decline. "Light My Pyre" tackles betrayal and the dissolution of friendship. "Auras" deals with the erosion (and rejuvenation) of honor and identity in the face of withering familial ties.

Oak, Ash & Thorn recorded their latest album in Ft. Collins, Colorado, at the Blasting Room, which was founded by Black Flag and Descendents drummer Bill Stevenson. Our Grief is Thus marks the first time in the band's history that they have walked out of a studio with an album fully representing their vision.

Having now signed to Season of Mist, they're ready to take their spirited brand of blackened pagan power metal to even greater heights.

Progressive Metal Unit MOTHS Release New Single "Wrath" + Music Video

Today, MOTHS, the progressive metal unit from San Juan, Puerto Rico, are pleased to release "Wrath," the second single from their upcoming album 'Septem,' due out August 1st. The new track arrives alongside an official music video, available to view below.

"Wrath" marks a bold evolution for MOTHS, as they weave Black Metal elements into their signature blend of Doom and Progressive Metal. The track channels overwhelming rage toward a world that offers no compromise—an eruption of frustration against systemic hardship and existential weight. The scorched-earth imagery reflects a desperate desire to start over, even while acknowledging that such renewal is never truly clean. Amidst the track’s unrelenting force, Mariel’s sopranoesque vocals float like a haunting specter—eerie, mysterious, and dark—offering a chilling contrast to the fury beneath. "Wrath" is a statement piece: theatrical, aggressive, and unafraid to confront the chaos head-on.

On the new single, bassist Weslie Negrón comments:

"‘Wrath’ was one of the songs we finished while recording 'Septem' at Romaphonic Studiosin Buenos Aires. I remember how everything came together quickly—it all just made sense, and we ran with it. We loved it from the start. We knew the track needed something eerie and full of depth, and Mariel absolutely delivered. When she added her vocals—especially that final section—it blew us away. The contrast between her soprano-style delivery and the chaos underneath brought out a haunting quality that elevated the whole piece. It’s also one of our favorite tracks to perform live. The energy and aggression in 'Wrath' are unlike anything we’ve done before—it’s intense, and honestly, just so much fun to play."

Watch the Music Video for "Wrath"

MOTHS' upcoming album, 'Septem,' is a visceral journey through the Seven Deadly Sins, with each track embodying a facet of indulgence, obsession, and self-destruction—from the corrosive jealousy of "Envy" to the insatiable hunger of "Gluttony" and the rage of "Wrath." The album plunges listeners into a dark, immersive experience where desire spirals into chaos.

Diving deeper into heavier territory, MOTHS fuse elements of Death and Black Metal with their signature blend of Progressive, Psychedelic, Doom, and Stoner Metal, crafting a sound that’s both aggressive and atmospheric.

'Septem' was recorded in just five days at Romaphonic Studios in Buenos Aires, capturing the raw energy and inspiration of the setting. It also marks the debut of vocalist Mariel Viruet, whose range spans from haunting melodies to visceral screams.

The album was mixed by Walter Chacón (Los Fabulosos Cadillacs) and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Between the Buried and Me) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.

On the album, Weslie Negrón reflects:

"'Septem' is our most ambitious effort to date. From traveling to another country to record it, to the addition of a new vocalist, and creating it all amidst a world in turmoil—it's incredibly rewarding to finally see it out there. This album contains some of my favorite songs we've ever written as a band. You can feel our chemistry in these tracks, how we came together to make them happen, without any boundaries or 'rules' about how songs should be written. It's an intriguing, unpredictable, and unconventional album, one that I'm sure will feel like a fresh sound to everyone who hears it."

WE CAME AS ROMANS Drop New Single "no rest for the dreamer"

Fresh off their explosive performance at Welcome To Rockville, metalcore vanguards We Came As Romans have released their brand new single, no rest for the dreamer,” today. Debuted live in front of a sea of delighted fans this past weekend, the track continues the band’s powerful new era—first introduced by their previously released anthem Bad Luck—and further sets the stage for the band's upcoming Bad Luck World Tour. Stream "No rest for the dreamer" HERE and watch the accompanying visualizer below.

The track continues the defiant, emotionally charged new chapter the band kicked off with “Bad Luck”— their first release of 2025— and raises the stakes yet again. Rooted in perseverance, ambition, and the refusal to be broken, no rest for the dreamer” is a raw and unrelenting anthem for anyone still clawing toward something better.

“This song is for the ones still fighting for their future,” says frontman Dave Stephens. “The ones who can’t sleep because they’re not done yet. It’s about carrying the weight of your past, knowing you’re still not where you want to be—but refusing to stop anyway.”

Built on a pummeling riff and one of the band’s most hauntingly melodic choruses to date, the song’s lyrics confront internal trauma, self-doubt, and the compulsion to run straight into the storm: “So why are you standing in the rain? What do you want to wash away?”

The release follows the huge momentum of Bad Luck”, which launched the band's new 2025 chapter with a thunderous statement of resilience. With a stacked schedule of touring, festival appearances, and more new music ahead, “no rest for the dreamer” is both a battle cry and a brutal reckoning.

ABOUT WE CAME AS ROMANS

We Came As Romans continue to progress and evolve at lightspeed, maintaining a place at the forefront of heavy music and culture. Never content to follow, they seamlessly alchemize crushing groove-driven catharsis, spacey electronics, and arena-size singalongs into a sound that refuses to sit still—effortlessly moving between metal, alternative, hardcore, and rock.

The Michigan-born five-piece—Dave StephensJoshua MooreLou CottonAndy Glass, and David Puckett—first broke through with Tracing Back Roots (2013), which cracked the Billboard 200 Top 10 and hit #1 on both the Independent Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. Their self-titled 2015 album followed, debuting at #11 on the Billboard 200, cementing their status as modern metalcore royalty.

Following the tragic loss of original vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018, the band has continued to honor his legacy with their 2022 album, Darkbloom, their highest-praised record to date. Kerrang! awarded it 4 out of 5 stars, calling it “a carrier for a knot of emotion, and a tribute to their friend.” It featured career-defining tracks like “Black Hole” (ft. Caleb Shomo), now over 102 million Spotify streams, and “Daggers” (ft. Zero 9:36), which surpassed 32 million streams. Media outlets including Loudwire and Consequence praised the album for its emotional range, sonic heft, and unapologetic vulnerability.

Now, with “Bad Luck” and “no rest for the dreamer” the band charges into a new era—scarred, sharpened, and more fearless than ever.
