PARMALEE “FELL IN LOVE WITH A COWGIRL” TOUR ON-SALE NOV. 22

Rising towards the top of the country singles charts with their latest single, “Gonna Love You,” Parmalee announces their “Fell In Love With A Cowgirl” Tour, which will kick off February 13 in Madison, WI. The tour, featuring special guest Avery Anna, will conclude on March 22 in Edmonton, AB, Canada. 

“With new music coming early next year, there is energy and excitement around us and our whole team,” said lead singer Matt Thomas. “We wanted to bring that energy to our fans as soon as we could, so we decided to do a headline tour starting in Feb 2025. We’ll be bringing the party back to some of the cities we played on the Kane Brown tour as well as some cities we’ve never been to. Can’t wait to kick off 2025 with the Parmalee Famalee.”

Pre-sale for the “Fell In Love With A Cowgirl” Tour begins Wednesday, November 20 at 10:00 am local time - Thursday, Nov. 21 at 11:59 pm local time. General on-sale will begin Friday, November 22, at 10:00 am local time, and tickets are available at ParmaleeMusic.com. 

Their friend and collaborator, Avery Anna, is joining Parmalee on the road next year. Called a “towering, soul-baring tunesmith” by Billboard Magazine, Anna first connected with Parmalee on “Forget You,” from their 2021 For You album and most recently, “Lose You Again” from her album Breakup Over Breakfast, which was released earlier this year. 

Earlier this year, Parmalee toured with Tyler Hubbard and Kane Brown on the “In The Air” Tour. Of their show, Chicago Concert Reviews wrote, “Parmalee brought loads of its own southern-infused hooks and harmonies from “For You,” culminating in the smashes “Carolina” and “Take My Name,” to enhance an already potent combination.”

DAVID ELLEFSON ANNOUNCES 2025 BASS WARRIOR TOUR DATES AND JUDAS PRIEST COVER SONG ​

GRAMMY Award winning bassist DAVID ELLEFSON has announced his BASS WARRIORTOUR across Europe for spring 2025. The tour will feature Ellefson and his solo band performing select cuts from his well-known catalog of Mega hits, solo material and other hard rock & metal favorites which inspired him during his 40-year music career.

To coincide with the announcement, Ellefson teamed up with AMERICAN IDOL contestant JAMES DURBIN to release a powerhouse version of the JUDAS PRIEST classic Metal Gods. The song also features Ellefson’s solo band of musicians including his long-time friend & musical director Andy Martongelli.

NEW WAVE ICON HOWARD JONES AND SYNTH POP STARS ABC ANNOUNCE MORE CO-HEADLINING AMERICAN TOUR DATES FOR FEBRUARY, 2025

Following a wildly successful run of North American tour dates earlier this year, new wave icon Howard Jones and synth pop stars ABC are set to return to the United States for more co-headlining tour dates in February, 2025. SiriusXM First Wave DJ Richard Blade will open the show with his world-renowned DJ set. The 2025 tour dates kick off in San Francisco at The Masonic on Thursday, February 6th. Please see below for the confirmed itinerary to date.

Electronic music pioneer Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past four decades, playing live in a number of different configurations including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up. He first burst upon the contemporary music scene in 1983, with his very English songwriting and pioneering synthesizers with “New Song”. UK Black Metal Standouts THE INFERNAL SEA Release Deluxe, Reimagined Version of 'Hellfenlic'

As UK black metal luminaries THE INFERNAL SEA launch their European tour in France tonight, the band have also unleashed the deluxe edition of their acclaimed 2024 album 'Hellfenlic'. Titled 'Hellfenlic Deluxe (Reincarnated Evil)', this expanded version is now available through Candlelight, offering fans a deeper dive into the band’s unrelenting darkness.

Originally released in January, this enhanced version takes each track to new, reinterpreted heights, offering fresh arrangements that reimagine the original compositions. With every song reworked, 'Hellfenlic' in its deluxe form challenges listeners to approach the album from a completely different perspective, inviting them to rediscover its dark intricacies in a whole new light.

THE INFERNAL SEA draw from a vast musical palette, influenced by a wide array of genres, including electronic and industrial. Having come of age in the 90s, they were immersed in a time when metal bands were boldly crossing genre lines, experimenting with new sounds and styles. Freemoor Shares Soulful Rock Song "Affliction"

Las Vegas based Rock artist Freemoor is sharing his soulful new song “Affliction”.  The track was produced by noted session guitarist and producer Adrian Andres (Cirque Du Soleil, Maeve) at Mouse Trap Studios in Toronto, Canada.  Freemoor will be debuting the song live in Los Angeles at the Viper Room on Tuesday, 11/19.

“Affliction” is an homage to the unfortunate demise of creative people who have succumbed to their demons, and left this world at a young age and far to soon. It combines a powerful, soulful vibe with an edgy rock sound – it’s a mix of Bad Company meets Lenny Kravitz, with a dose of Gary Clark Jr.   The song has an earworm, driving rhythm with bombastic guitars throughout, buoyed by bluesy, intensely soulful vocals.   

Freemoor says “There are so many legendary stories regarding the unfortunate demise of many divinely talented             people who have graced this earth – only to succumb to their demons and leave far too soon. “Affliction” is a tribute             to these unique individuals – but also acknowledges everyday people who deal with and suffer from various maladies of the mind and soul.  From Amy Winehouse to Marilyn Monroe, to more recently Liam Payne - many true and untrue stories are told about these people. Beyond the Gates Festival 2025 is now revealing the first wave of bands for what is already shaping up to be an epic lineup! For the first time in 19 years, King Diamond will return to Norway with his fantastic horror infused heavy metal spectacle.

Festival booker Torgrim Øyre comments, "For those of you who saw Mercyful Fate in Grieghallen a few years back will know that this will be the ultimate way to experience King Diamond and his amazing show. We’ve been hard at work to get King Diamond to Norway for quite some time and what a treat it is to finally be able to announce this gem.

Eli Young Band Tribute the Ecstasy of True Love with "I'm Yours Amen"

On the heels of multiple sold out shows earlier this summer, including an at-capacity performance at Washington, D.C.’s The Bullpen, multi-Platinum country hitmakers Eli Young Band release their new track “I’m Yours Amen” today, November 15, giving commitment a swaying soundtrack. Co-written by lead singer Mike Eli with Jeffrey East, the romantically charged anthem stands as a warm-and-fuzzy tribute to the ecstasy of true love. Featuring a sunset melody and uplifting roots rock sound – led as always by Eli’s distinctive vocal – the track has emerged as a feel-good Country singalong, built on the simple joy of knowing exactly where you’re meant to be.
 
“When I got the idea for this song I was napping on the couch with my head on my wife’s lap, and she was binging Grey’s Anatomy,” Eli explains. “I remember thinking ‘This is the life!’ – and from that ‘I’m Yours Amen’ was born.
 
“We wanted to write a song that said everything without saying too much,” he goes on. “I remember me and Kacey’s wedding day like it was yesterday, so it’s incredible to capture that feeling in a song nearly 15 years later.”
 
The release of “I’m Yours Amen” follows the comforting “Home in Hometown” (dropped earlier in 2024), as the never-changing EYB lineup of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones, and Chris Thompson mark the start of a fresh chapter.
 
Returning to their independent roots and the bold creative defiance that launched them into the mainstream with 2008’s Level, a new set of tunes will continue to roll out through 2025. Recorded at Panhandle House Studio in their hometown of Denton, Texas – also the birthplace of Level – it promises to bring fans a full-circle moment driven by experience and a million miles of wisdom, from a band of brothers still very much in their prime.
 
Meanwhile, Eli Young Band continue to rack up accolades. Along with wrapping their 10 Years: 10,000 Towns Tour this summer, the band celebrated new certifications of their chart topping, Platinum album Life at Best, plus 5x Platinum single “Crazy Girl” and the 3x Platinum “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.”

Thursday, November 14, 2024 – In a previous life, Welsh Wolf (born Paul Freeman) worked behind the scenes with the best of them: He played guitar on James Blunt’s giant hit “You’re Beautiful”; toured the world with The Who, Chris Cornell, Chris Isaac, Roger Daltry, and Brandi Carlisle; wrote a Top 40 hit for Sleeping With Sirens; and had his material covered by the likes of Meat Loaf and Robbie Williams.

Now, Welsh Wolf is ready to howl on his own, emerging as a promising act of his own accord and releasing singles that will culminate in a debut EP in early 2025. The first taste came with “Wreck,” released in late September that quickly racked up streams in its first week. Today, the L.A.-based talent is unleashing the next edition, “When You Cry,” another power anthem that calls to mind The Cult, The Killers, and Sam Fender and was also inspired by his early loves like The Cure, T-Rex, Dire Straits, Paul McCartney and Wings. Both songs were crafted after Freeman looked to start a new chapter and hunkered down in his studio for over a year to perfect his craft; each was produced and mixed by John Spiker (Filter, Beck, The Killers).

“It felt like I was allowing my true self to be seen,” Freeman explains. “Before it felt like there was a filter that I didn’t realize was even there.  But now, I was finally allowing myself to be myself.”

Growing up in South Wales, Welsh Wolf was destined to be involved with music. At 10-years-old, he serendipitously found his first guitar sitting on a dumpster, picked it up, dusted it off and taught himself how to play his favorite songs, like “Band on the Run” (the only thing that would put him to sleep, according to his mother).

Freeman was a quick learner, and in due time, the budding artist moved to London, started a band called Boedekka and was signed to Boy George’s label. A few years later, Los Angeles was calling and, through a series of events, Freeman was linked up with Clive Davis who liked what he heard and set him on the path to success, not only touring with a who’s who of rock and pop but also finding his music landing in films including The Break-Up, as well as hit TV shows Jessica Jones and Insatiable.

Welsh Wolf is the latest chapter in the musician’s illustrious career, emerging under a new moon for a new time. Stay tuned …

Ever since the cloaked Pacific Northwest band appeared on the music radar, UADA has always been electrified by both polar worlds. Their echelon was stark and meaningful. Ian Munsick Charts New Territory with 18-City Spring ‘25 ‘Horses are Faster Tour’

Wyoming native Ian Munsick, celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker alike for putting the “western back in country,” will chart new territory in the Northeast and beyond with his 18-city  Horses are Faster Tour in spring 2025. Tickets go on-sale 10 AM local time this Friday, Nov. 15 at IanMunsick.com.
 
Encompassing his first headlining shows in Pittsburgh, PA; Philadelphia, PA and more, Munsick will also return to the revered Texas honky tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas, in March before concluding the run at Nashville’s new concert hall, The Pinnacle, on April 17. Each stop will feature a rotating lineup of support including Colby Acuff, Chayce Beckham, Bayker Blankenship, Clay Street Unit, Kashus Culpepper, Hudson Westbrook and Jake Worthington.
 
“There is one thing I can always guarantee when you come to an Ian Munsick show… you will be entertained. The Horses are Faster Tour was named after Munsick’s stampeding breakthrough hit, “Horses are Faster,” released in 2017, which was certified Gold by the RIAA earlier this year; joining “Long Live Cowgirls” featuring Cody Johnson off his sophomore album White Buffalo, and “Long Haul” from his major label debut Coyote Cry.
 
As Munsick continues to tease new music, he most recently released “Fixin’ Me,” citing the toxic push-and-pull that often results from a relationship born on a bad habit, as one person tries to fix himself while the other remains complacent. “Fixin’ Me” was written by Munsick, Trannie Anderson and Jared Conrad, and produced by Munsick, Conrad and Jeremy Spillman. Gaerea Release New Video Ahead of US Tour

Gaerea are waking into a new era. The Portuguese masked sensations are no longer strictly a black metal band. With Coma, they've surfaced to the top of extreme metal. Their critically acclaimed new album racked up more than 1 million streams within 24 hours of landing on Spotify. 

"Coma, the quintet's fourth full-length, not only finds them sharpening their craft", FLOOD gushes, "but it also makes a strong claim as 2024's best metal record, regardless of subgenre". 

To lay claim over their new domain, later this month, Gaerea are touring North America with Zeal & Ardor and Zetra. Today, the band are treating the vortex societies in the U.S. and Canada with a tantalizing glimpse of their striking live performance. The new video for "Coma" includes never-before-seen footage from this year's treks to China and Taiwan, though the title track off their new album also shows just how far Gaerea have come.

Though produced by their trusted confident Miguel Tereso, Comabroadens Gaerea's signature sound by taking it in two seemingly opposed directions. The title track is one of the heavier songs on the whole album. Concussive drum fills open the floodgates for a venomous groove that shakes its scales like a dragon. But its tortured screams and piercing melodies reveal a mysterious phantom pain.

"This is the song that explains the whole record, basically", the band's unnamed vocalist told Apple Music. "I was thinking about how to write a song about someone in a coma, but they're still conscious of it. Because if there's no consciousness, there won't be a song. So, this is a bit like waking up in a dark room and seeing the whole word around you, but you can't really figure out if it's reality, if it's memories, if it's your imagination, or just your lost dreams in life. It deals with that anxiety of trying to figure out if you're really here or not, or if this is the afterlife - and whatever the afterlife might look like".

It's a rock opera described as an electric and emotional adventure. ABOUT KELSY KARTER & THE HEROINES:
Kelsy Karter, an Australian theatre kid turned rock frontwoman, leads the charge with a blend of potty-mouthed charm and heartfelt sincerity. Known for her audacious approach to self- promotion, Kelsy has become a media sensation for her innovative, often outrageous marketing stunts. TIME magazine once drew comparisons between her and rock legends like Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper. "This song is about living your life the way you think is right because you're trying to get to your own personal gateway of heaven," says Hayes. "So, you're going to do anything you can to reach that point and feel like you're worthy of this prize at the end. Everybody wants a slice of heaven."

HEAVY//HITTER will be touring throughout the fall, with headline dates and a trek in support of Carnifex and Cryptopsy on deck. All confirmed dates are below.
 
HEAVY//HITTER are, have always been, and always will be... unabashedly and undeniably real.

Since 2019, the band have buzzed as an underground upstart. They bulldozed a path with the Street Violence EP in 2021. They picked up plugs from Lambgoat, Lawnchair Youth, and more. Between packing houses live, they caught the attention of Blue Grape Music and signed to the label. 

Unwavering drive, hustle, and a committed grind brought them to this point.
  
"Before I started this band, I quit music for five years," says Austin. "I tried to go to college. I was a general manager at Domino's Pizza. I did construction. Nothing was fulfilling, so I got back into music and started HEAVY//HITTER  with Dane. I just never gave up on this band. We always want more, and we’re not going to stop."
 
The band decamped to Los Angeles where they recorded Moments of Misery with producer Austin Coupe. Inspired by the likes of Suicide Silence, Knocked Loose, and Carnifex, they refined an "OG deathcore sound with newer hardcore and metalcore elements," according to the fontman. 
  
Ultimately, HEAVY//HITTER hold nothing back.
 
"When you listen to us, I hope you feel the emotion we put into the record. That's what music is about. We're not a machine. We're human and honest," Hayes shares.

Portland's SUN ATOMS release 'Everything Forever' album feat. guests from MODEST MOUSE, THE VANDELLES & more

Portland psychedelic gaze-wave outfit Sun Atoms present their sophomore album 'Everything Forever', released on November 8 via Little Cloud Records. Meticulously crafted with cosmic energy, their magnum opus features notable guest appearances by Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock, Jasno Swarez of The Vandelles, and Lauren Andino of Tremours, amongst others. This sophomore album realizes the promise that was there in the debut not only musically, but in a sacred sense. This album gets between the ears, then heads south down past the brain and into the heart. 

Sun Atoms is made up of vocalist Jsun Atoms (The Upsidedown, Daydream Machine), producer and bassist Peter G. Holmström (The Dandy Warhols, Pete International Airport), multi- instrumentalist June Kang, saxophonist-trumpeter- guitarist Mars de Ponte (LoveBomb Go-Go), drummer Eric Rubalcava and guitarist Derek Spencer Longoria-Gomez (Hi Hazel). 

Homström and iconic mixing engineer Jagz Kooner had just finished The Dandy Warhols' latest album, generating an extraordinary symbiosis. Credited with creating some of the most genre-defining songs of the last 30 years, Kooner began his career working with Andrew Weatherall, remixing and producing for the likes of Bjork, The Chemical Brothers and New Order, as well as mixing for Primal Scream, Massive Attack, Oasis, Garbage and Killing Joke. With Pete producing and Jagz mixing in one of the great marvels of prehistoric Britain (Avebury Henge) at Jagz's Stone Circles Studios, the pair pushed the sonic envelope into the great abyss. The coup de grace was having Keith Tenniswood (Spiritualized, Death in Vegas) master the album at Curve Pusher UK.

Last week, the band shared the surreal, psychedelic fever dream of a video for 'Narco Polo' featuring Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse, which Jsun Atoms says "feels like a dada ice cream party inside a Salvador Dali painting". Holmström and Brock have been friends and collaborators for years, and Sun Atoms recently supported Modest Mouse for some West Coast shows. Earlier in 2024, Sun Atoms released the lead single 'Ceiling Tiles' with Leonard Cohen tribute 'Tower of Song (in the key of JAMC)', and fantastic sonic odyssey 'Take This Love' with B-side 'And The Lion Saw The UFO'.

A genre-defying fusion of psychedelic rock and indie pop, Sun Atoms push the boundaries of their own sonic exploration. Their debut album 'Let There Be Light' (2021). mixed by producer Stephen Street (Blur, The Smiths, The Cranberries), also involvedThe Black Angels’ Alex Maas,The Vandelles' Jasno SwarezandGregg Williams (Sheryl Crow, Blitzen Trapper). 

This year, Sun Atoms played a series of sold-out concerts with Dinosaur Jr., crowning the list of shows they have played with Fishbone, Modest Mouse, Federale, Besnard Lakes, The Veldt, New Candys and TREMOURS. They've also shared the stage with the likes of Ty Segall, A Place To Bury Strangers, Neko Case, Built To Spill. Allah Las, Broncho and Night Beats.

As of November 8, 'Everything Forever' is out everywhere, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp.  It can also be ordered on vinyl directly from Little Cloud Records. Sun Atoms has several upcoming concerts in Portland and Seattle, accompanied by The Veldt, Asteroid #4, Los Mundos and Valley Suns, capping off the year with The Dandy Warhols 30th Anniversary show (with LSD & The Search For God and TREMOURS) in Portland on December 11.

Elle King Headlines Series Premiere of New Series, CMT Live, Today at 4pm CT

Artist-songwriter Elle King headlines the launch of CMT’s new digital series, CMT Live. The new performance series debuts today, Thursday, Nov. 7 at 4 pm CT across CMT’s social platforms.
 
The kick-off episode will celebrate the return of the epic series Yellowstone, which premieres Nov. 10. King’s set includes her song “Ain’t Gonna Drown,” featured in season three of the highly acclaimed Western drama.
 
“I was so honored to be asked to do the premiere episode of CMT Live to celebrate the return of Yellowstone,” said King. “I got to strip back a few of my favorites, including “Ain’t Gonna Drown,” which was featured on the show a few seasons back. And to get to shoot it at the American Legion Post 82 in East Nashville was like a homecoming since I did my album release show and shot the video for ‘Drunk’ there.”
 
The show also includes “High Road,” King’s new song about exploring life's contradictions, choices and the hazy journey to self-realization. Of the song, Music Row Magazine said, “This performance sets her in stone as a country artist. Country, country, country and cool.”
