Dead Icarus, Feat. ex-Atreyu Singer Alex Varkatzas, Share "1 Million Days" Video
Dead Icarus, the new band of former Atreyu lead vocalist and Gold-selling artist Alex Varkatzas, as well as Gabe Mangold of Enterprise Earth and Brandon Zackey, recently announced their debut album ZEALOT. It will arrive October 31 via MNRK HEAVY. Pre-order it here. The band also wrapped its first tour with Enterprise Earth and Nekrogoblikon.
Produced and co-written by Mangold, ZEALOT is a precise and pummeling execution of airtight technical riffs, miles of solos, blast beat assault and battery, and screamed, growled, and sung vocals.
Today, the band has shared the video for "1 MILLION DAYS." Watch it below. It is inspired by classic '80s horror films, so it arrives JUST in time for the creepy season.
"'1 Million Days' is as close as Dead Icarus gets to a power ballad on ZEALOT," explains Varkatzas. "When I first started writing the lyrics, I thought it was about failing someone else and seeking their forgiveness. As I finished the lyrics, it became more first person and about letting one's self down and forgiving one's self for mistakes made. Sometimes, the weight we bear is placed upon our own shoulders by ourselves and only we can remove it."
He finishes, "The video is sort of a tongue-in-cheek homage to late '80s horror, filmed inside a haunted house that is housed inside a haunted building from the 1800s."
Mangold furthers, "Musically, '1 Million Days came from the intention of creating an epic, powerful, catchy, and emotional metalcore 'power ballad,' as Alex stated. I'm a sucker for all guitar things from the '80s, so naturally a catchy, singable, harmonized lead in the chorus was the first thing written and it set the tone for the rest of the composition. Don't let the word 'ballad' fool you, though. This song has some unexpected twists and turns as well that aren't a part of your conventional emotional rock song."
Dead Icarus leans on the uncanny creative union between vocalist Varkatzas, guitarist and producer Gabe Mangold, and drummer Brandon Zackey. The band truly gets its wings from the undying commitment made by its members. The musicians pursue their artistry with a resolute sense of focus, manifesting in the precise execution of airtight technical riffs, virtuosic solos, blast beat assault and battery, and hard-hitting vocals.
Countless fans worldwide initially got to know Varkatzas as co-founder and original frontman for influential Southern California metalcore stalwarts Atreyu. After two decades earmarked by chart-shaking success, a pair of Gold albums and Gold singles, sold-out shows around the globe, and critical renown, he embarked on his next chapter in 2020. Enter Mangold. Celebrated as guitarist for Enterprise Earth, he and Alex instantly clicked and forged a musical partnership, yielding their 2024-released Ad infernum EP. Inciting critical applause, Revolver promised, "Fans of old-school Atreyu will definitely enjoy."
Dead Icarus will also embark on their first tour this September with Enterprise Earth and Nekrogoblikon. All dates are below. More worldwide touring is planned for 2025 and beyond.

San Francisco's AURSJOEN offers haunting sonic alchemy on 'For Want Of'. William Faith-produced debut 'Strand' EP is out on November 15
San Francisco artist AURSJOEN presents the single 'For Want Of', the second taste of her debut 'Strand' EP (out November 15 via Stratis Capta Records), offering a glimpse into her versatility as a vocalist and musician while keeping with the ethereal cinematics found in her debut single 'Nytår'. Both of these haunted beauties are sensual and mystical, nodding to her Scandinavian ancestry.
This reverie-infused music is lush, layered and sweepingly cinematic. Dark and light in equal measure, this dynamic slice of ethereal gothica complemented by a haunting video, created by filmmaker David Kruschke.
AURSJOEN is the project of Ria Aursjoen, who is vocalist and keyboardist for critically acclaimed post-punk outfit Octavian Winters, who released their debut EP 'The Line or Curve' in 2023, followed by their 2024 'Nebula / Velveteen' single with electronic-industrial legend Mark Pistel (Meat Beat Manifesto, Consolidated). A classically-trained singer and multi-instrumentalist, her musical past is steeped in genres ranging from Celtic and Nordic folk to darkwave and progressive metal.
Beginning from a delicate piano motif, 'For Want Of' builds to a symphonic crescendo. Vocal lines are layered as the song unfolds, reminiscent of how we can hold different and sometimes opposite thoughts at the same time in our heads. While this track showcases her ethereal sensibilities, it also makes clear the true scope of Ria Aursjoen’s voice.
"'For Want Of' was written several years ago. I had just moved into an empty apartment with a baby, a toddler, a bag of clothes and a cooking pot. It was surreal -- one of the most difficult transitions in my life and I had layers of feelings that should have been irreconcilable, even though they existed together. On one hand, I felt empty desolation, and yet at the same time a fiery fullness that felt like a wild animal trying to break out of my heart. I tried to express these in the song as the contrast in vocal delivery as well as in the references to winter/ice and fire – references that show up as part of my lyrical lexicon in other songs as well. Instead of switching off from one to another, I layered them so that you hear them running together, to mirror how it felt internally," says Ria Aursjoen.
"What I really love is to create music that is more than the sum of its parts, where the interplay (either harmonically or rhythmically) between different motifs gives birth to something extra, something “meta” that you can’t predict or engineer. I think those two states of feeling did that in my life too… a different self, a new era was born for me out of that ice and fire."
AURSJOEN's debut 'Strand' EP was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by William Faith (The Bellwether Syndicate, Faith and the Muse, Mephisto Waltz, Christian Death) at 13 Studio in Chicago, Aursjoen is joined by Octavian Winters bandmate Stephan Bryan Salit, who lends his creative flourish to the mix, contributing dynamic and atmospheric guitars on two songs. The performances and sweeping arrangements recall Faith’s work with Faith and the Muse, although Ria Aursjoen’s voice and composition are distinctly recognizable as something uniquely her own.
Ria Aursjoen shares, "Regarding the video, initially I had storyboarded another concept, and David Kruschke and I were working on the locations. But Octavian Winters went on tour, and I was unavailable to shoot the video until we were too close to the release date to make it work. The day after I got home from tour, David and I went out to the coast near San Francisco and shot the video as we felt it. This turned out to be a great decision because I was so exhausted from the tour and it was so hot (we filmed during the October heat wave) that I didn’t have the time or energy to overthink any of it -- and what we ended up capturing was a much more untethered performance that felt very true to myself."
As someone who has synesthesia, a rare neurodiverse condition in which senses overlap, Aursjoen experiences sound as visual structures, colours and textures. As a child, she wrote her musical ideas down in a unique system of notation she created, based around her visual perceptions of music.
Aside from music, Ria Aursjoen is a published writer and visual artist, having won two national art competitions by the age of eight and illustrated a children’s book. She creates much of Octavian Winters’ artwork and currently works with inks and parchment velum to create palimpsest-style art.
While the 'For Want Of' single will be officially released everywhere on October 21, it is available exclusively via Bandcamp this week. The 'Nytår' single can also be found there and the 'Strand' EP (out November 15) is also available for pre-order.

Love Ghost x SKOLD release treacherous 'Ski Mask' single, second taste of debut album
"This sonic rollercoaster effortlessly transitions between heavy, driving riffs and melodic, catchy choruses. Loaded with raw energy, the grunge influence is palpable with industrial rhythms and gothic elements provide an invigorating counterpoint – an auditory adventure worth taking" ~ Spill Magazine
Alt-rock maverick Love Ghost and industrial legend Tim Skold (SKOLD, Shotgun Messiah, KMFDM, Marilyn Manson, Motionless in White) present 'Ski Mask', previewing their debut 'Love Ghost x SKOLD' album, out November 22 via iconic US label Metropolis Records.
Mixing fire with brimstone, these two innovative artists have joined forces, forging the raw energy of grunge with the driving rhythms of industrial rock, embellished with gothic hues. But there is a darker understory here despite the song's pop sensibilities. Finnegan Bell shares, “'Ski Mask' has a more crestfallen vibe akin to what a broken society feels like. The song is influenced by how an over-medicated youth can find it hard to manage the ups and downs of life as an adult."
'Ski Mask' follows the latest single ‘Nightshade and Cocaine’, inspired by altered states of mind and witchcraft, and their 2023 debut offering 'Payback', which set the tone for the dark rock n’ roll soundscape of this album.
"This second single 'Ski Mask' explores a darker side of our creativity, touching on ups and downs not usually explored in such a catchy almost pop format," says Tim Skold.
Finnegan adds, “This is a song that takes you on an emotional journey whilst combining multiple genres and subjects. The lyrics deal with my personal relationship with pharmaceuticals and how I feel that my generation was over-medicated. It’s about altered brain chemistry and how it leads you to some very dark places which is why the song is told through the perspective of a heist. Hence the title 'Ski Mask'. These songs are literally musical storytelling."
Apart from releasing music under the SKOLD moniker and as half of the duo Not My God (with Nero Bellum), Swedish musician and record producer Tim Skold is perhaps best known for his work with KMFDM, Shotgun Messiah, Marilyn Manson, and Motionless in White. In addition to being a full-fledged band member of Marilyn Manson for several world tours, Skold produced their #1 Billboard US charting album 'The Golden Age of Grotesque', cover versions of 'Tainted Love', 'Personal Jesus' and the controversial album 'Eat Me, Drink Me'. He later co-produced two Motionless in White albums. As SKOLD, he has released several albums and toured extensively with Front Line Assembly and Motionless in White, among others.
Love Ghost is an enigmatic Los Angeles-based indie rock band, known for their distinctive blend of grunge, alternative rock and post-punk, informed by the Seattle tradition as much as Soundcloud-era fearlessness. Founded by vocalist-guitarist Finnegan Bell, the band quickly garnered attention for their mature lyrics, a multitude of collaborations and raw, energetic sound. They have toured extensively all over the world and have earned plaudits from such publications as Rolling Stone, Alternative Press, American Songwriter and New Noise.
'Ski Mask' and 'Nightshade and Cocaine' are now available everywhere digitally, including Bandcamp, where the full 'Love Ghost x SKOLD' album can also be pre-ordered.

Sumerian Records Announce 'American Psycho' Comic Series Soundtrack Out October 25
Sumerian Records have today announced the upcoming full release of the 'American Psycho' Comic Series Soundtrack as well as the hardback graphic novel out on Friday, October 25. The soundtrack is available for pre-order now at the link HERE, and vinyl will be available for purchase at the Sumerian Records Merch Store on release day.
In addition to today's announcement, charismatic chanteuse Diamante steps into the spotlight as part of the remarkable soundtrack lineup with her electrifying cover of the iconic Pat Benatar hit "Love Is A Battlefield". Stream the track HERE and watch the official video below.
When asked about the cover, Diamante shared:
“Since I can remember, I have always been a huge fan of songs from the 80s, especially of the female powerhouse vocalists of that time. In particular, Pat Benatar has always been a hero of mine, and I love nothing more than a good challenge. So for me, recording this version of "Love Is a Battlefield" was a lifelong dream come true.”
Speaking about the soundtrack, President of Sumerian Comics, Nathan Yocum, also commented:
"We are beyond excited to present this soundtrack as a true celebration of music and storytelling, brought together by some of the most talented and dynamic artists in the industry today. This project is a testament to the power of collaboration, and we can’t wait for fans to experience how these songs complement the world of American Psycho in a bold and electrifying way. It’s more than just a soundtrack—it’s a journey into the dark and thrilling atmosphere that this series embodies."
The 'American Psycho' comic book series by Sumerian Comics is a bold reimagining of Patrick Bateman’s notorious saga. The five-issue series delves into a dual storyline format; one tracing the chilling exploits of Bateman, and the other introducing a contemporary narrative featuring Charlene Carruthers—a social media-savvy millennial whose descent into violence mirrors the chilling escalation of her predecessor. This innovative take reinterprets the iconic tale with a story written by Michael Calero (Quested), vivid artwork by Piotr Kowalski (The Witcher, Bloodborne, Sex) and striking colors by Brad Simpson (Kong of Skull Island, Stray Dogs, Blade Runner Origins).
Today's release joins previously released tracks from the likes of Gvllow featuring Mothica who breathed new life into Billy Idol's "Eyes Without A Face", Charlotte Sands who dropped a massive cover of AFI's smash-hit "Miss Murder", Royal & The Serpent who tackled Leadbelly classic "Where Did You Sleep Last Night", Carpenter Brut feat. Kristoffer Rygg who also released a cover of Billy Idol's "Eyes Without A Face", Ice Nine Kills feat. Reel Big Fish, who gave the Katrina and The Waves smash hit, "Walking On Sunshine" the ska punk treatment, Puscifer, who recorded a brand new, original single, "The Algorithm" for the comic book series, Unlike Pluto who covered Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams", Perturbator, who covered "Dangerous" by Depeche Mode and Ramsey, who covered Leadbelly's "Where Did You Sleep Last Night". Between them, the previously released tracks have racked up over 6.1 million streams with current sales for the comic book series topping 80,000 units.
Prior to today, Diamante announced her signing with Sumerian Records and dropped the single "All For The Glory" along with the Lucha Libre-inspired music video. Listen to the track HERE and watch the video HERE. Fans also have their chance to see her captivating live show on the Death Or Glory North American Tour with labelmates Palaye Royale, Weathers, and I See Stars, as well as on Shiprocked 2025 in January. Diamante has toured alongside prominent acts such as Nita Strauss, Shinedown, The Pretty Reckless, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace while performing at major national festivals including Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, and Welcome To Rockville. Ocean Grove Drop "Last Dance" Video
A stirring and textural sonic wonderland, the brand new single "LAST DANCE" from Melbourne Oddworld collective Ocean Grove takes an emotive and compelling turn ahead of the release of their upcoming new album ODDWORLD, due out on November 22 via ODDWORLD Records in Australia and SharpTone Records for the rest of the world.
Watch the video below.
Following on from the nu-metal ferocity of earlier singles "F'LY AWAY" and "MY DISASTER," and the sleek yet propulsive melodics of "RAINDROP," "LAST DANCE" is a raw and riveting anthem, seamlessly balancing the vocal stylings of Dale Tanner and Twiggy Hunter alongside an emphatic performance from drummer and producer Sam Bassal.
"We knew this song was going to be a really important opportunity for storytelling," shares Tanner. "We felt the impact of how powerful the music was before any lyrics were written and this warranted an equally powerful motif. We all sat down in the bunkbeds of the farmhouse we had converted into a home studio, with a setting sun and determination to not leave the room until we had an arrangement of words proportionately epic. 'LAST DANCE' emerged as an apocalyptic symphony of sorts. It grapples with this idea of facing the death moment, whether that be of the planet or a loved one, and how we can be presented with one last opportunity for a loving embrace, and a conscious presence in that confronting reality. It's the anthem for any listener to find solace and deeper meaning in the inevitable impermanence of everything."
A collection of songs that captures the band's sonic roots as well as their fierce evolution over the years, ODDWORLD emerges instantly as the definitive Ocean Grove record; one that pays homage to the delectable diversity of 2017's The Rhapsody Tapes while also spanning their entire catalogue and steering into exciting uncharted territory. Produced by Ocean Grove's own Sam Bassal along with creative and performance contributions from studio members Luke Holmes and Running Touch, ODDWORLD is exactly as its title suggests: beautifully chaotic, sonically kaleidoscopic and wholeheartedly one-of-a-kind.
Ocean Grove are the enigma of the heavy music landscape, blending elements of nu metal, hardcore and alternative rock to create a sound that is uniquely their own i.e. Oddworld Music. An eclectic trio of misfits spawning from Melbourne, Australia, Ocean Grove recently announced their signing to SharpTone Records and the launch of their own label, and have risen to prominence in recent years with their dynamic and genre-defying approach to music. Wearing their DIY work ethic on their sleeve, the band have self-produced every release to date, including the upcoming 2024 studio album ODDWORLD.
From their 2017 debut album The Rhapsody Tapes, which debuted at #5 on the ARIA charts, through to their sophomore 2020 release Flip Phone Fantasy and 2022's Up In The Air Forever, both also landing in the ARIA Charts Top 10, Ocean Grove have cultivated resounding acclaim for their groundbreaking craftsmanship and bold experimentation. And since their inception, the group have captivated audiences with their high-energy performances, visually striking aesthetics and infectious melodies, earning them a devoted legion of followers around the globe. Their unforgettable live show has found them in hot demand with tours alongside Limp Bizkit, August Burns Red, Crossfaith, and Don Broco, and appearances at the likes of Download Festival Australia, Good Things Festival and UNIFY Gathering.
Permafrost's debut album 'The Light Coming Through'
“If you are a fan of the sinister menace of Interpol, the jagged guitar lines of Gang Of Four or the grandiose gloom of The Cure, here is a band which is a mix of all three but has its own unique post-punk aesthetic – Permafrost.”
XS NOIZE
“Brooding and upbeat, here we have a classically post-punk vibe with compositions still centred on starkly compelling melodies.”
AMPLIFY MUSIC
“With a powerful melody and plenty of reverb and appealing synth, there is still a charming quality here amidst this ominous hymn – impressive.”
SPILL MAGAZINE
More than two years after the release of ‘Come Back To Surprise’, the Nordic-British post-punk quartet Permafrost returned with a new single, ‘Wrong Heart’, on 4th July. This release kicked off the lead up to their new album, ‘The Light Coming Through’, set to unveil in October this year. In addition to the lead track, Mental Overdrive (aka Per Martinsen) remixed the single, which was also available on 4th July. They then followed up with another new single on 16th August, aptly named ‘Ultimo August’, which debuted at #2 on the Deutsche Alternative Chart.
Formed originally in Molde, Norway in 1982 by school friends Frode Heggdal Larsen and Kåre Steinsbu, Permafrost has undergone numerous transformations over the years. Now joined by fellow Norwegian Robert Heggdal and Daryl Bamonte from the UK (who worked very closely with Depeche Mode and The Cure for several years), they continue to deliver the authentic post-punk sound of the early '80s. While many contemporary musicians attempt to replicate this era, Permafrost have lived it. Their latest single, ‘Wrong Heart’, has also evolved over time, ultimately resulting in a dark, bass-driven post-punk track that transports listeners back to the shadowy, goth-filled clubs of the '80s.
Alongside the single, they have released the music video for ‘Wrong Heart’. In a wholesome contrast to the song’s dark sound and nature, the video follows four young girls as they set out to create a music video. Of the video they said “In another dimension Permafrost could be a girl band. In this reality they are planning to create a music video. They have to drag their equipment into the forest to get to the preferred spot, making it into a road movie with a lot of obstacles on the way - like grazing sheep and deer in the blossoming Norwegian nature. When they finally arrive at the spot and want to start playing, the song finishes. All that work for nothing.”
Spread across Trondheim, Oslo and Margate, Permafrost's creative process is a challenge which the band have had to overcome. During the pandemic, they held weekly video meetings to plan new songs and other band- related issues, leveraging improved long-distance collaboration technology to maintain momentum. The songwriting process typically begins with one member suggesting an idea, which bassist Robert (Bob Frost) then develops in Logic Pro, programming drums and other elements. Singer Kåre creates a melody to match, and lyrics are selected from a collective vault they have accumulated over the years. The song is refined through a collaborative process, passing back and forth between all four members until everyone is satisfied.
Utilising their refined songwriting process, Permafrost meticulously crafted their forthcoming album, ‘The Light Coming Through’. Describing their sound as “Optimistic Melancholy” the album aims to offer inspiration and escapism during challenging times. Infusing politically charged lyrics with dark, synth-infused post-punk instrumentation, Permafrost employs metaphors to convey their message effectively.
Permafrost has built an impressive discography over the years. They debuted with the 'Godtment' EP in 1983, released on a limited edition of 50 numbered cassettes. In 2019, they followed up with the 'Permafrost' EP
on vinyl, later making it available digitally in 2021. Throughout 2021, the band dropped three critically acclaimed singles. ‘Femme Fatale’ and ‘Closed Eyes’ both achieved remarkable success, reaching #1 on the Indie Disko Top40 chart, with the latter maintaining the top spot for six consecutive weeks. These singles also performed well on the Deutsche Alternative and Native25 charts, while earning placements on influential playlists such as Apple Music’s ‘New in Rock’. The third single, ‘Restore Us’, continued their streak of success by hitting #1 on the Indie Disko Top40 and the Native25 chart.
‘The Light Coming Through’ will be released on 11th October, on digital and vinyl.
Liverpool duo THE WOOD unveil brooding 'Let It Loose' single with brawling video, the first taste of their debut album
"A potent swaggering track for the ages. With solid songwriting, catchy guitar riffs and sonic hooks, the duo present a winning lesson in sonic with an “instant classic”. With haunting vocals and true groove, they offer up an introspective, yet infectious proposition, showcasing a seamless blend of their influences – this is a precious listening experience" ~ The Spill Magazine
Liverpool-based duo The Wood present their debut single 'Let It Loose', the first taste of their 'Days'album, set for release on November 15 via Riverdream Records. Made of up Alex Evans(vocals, backing vocals, percussion) andSteve Powell(guitars, bass, backing vocals, keys, percussion), they bring rock solid grooves, creating melodies full of beauty, passion, pain and the power of real soul.
The accompanying video is a surreal experience, filmed and edited by Dylan Cox at the Pro Flex Gym in Liverpool and featuring boxer Jake Harrison, along with a host of other shady characters.
There's something of the night about this song and in a very special way, like when you find yourself on unsteady feet, down a back street in an unfamiliar city late at night. There's something coming from the underground, the source of all the best discoveries. Feel the pull and follow it. Sometimes in life, things get to you. Don’t let the world drag you down. Let it loose.
Evans and Powell met when Steve was recording Alex at his Ark Recording Studiosin Liverpool and was blown away by his voice. From their first songwriting session, they realised they were creating music that was difficult to categorise yet somehow sounded familiar. With Steve on guitar and bass, they enlisted several talented friends, including Jake Howden-Woodward (Nova Twins) on drums and Martin Smith and Simon James (The Coral, Shack) on brass.
As a producer, Steve Powell is an expert at unearthing sonic magic, having recorded many notable artists records, including Michael Head and The Strands, John Power, def.fo, The Stairs and Ella Guru He also produced and played guitar on the first Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band record 'Arturius Revisited' and number one indie album 'Adios Senor Pussycat'.
“’Let it Loose’ is a song about not giving in. The everyday pressures of situations, relationships, ambitions, life’s occasional curveballs, and eventual optimism and hope. The insistent bassline of the verse, then the release of the chorus, like the clouds parting to let the sun work its magic. “Letting your mind go, waiting for the fear to fall,” says Steve Powell.
Alex Evans adds, “To me, ‘Let it Loose’ is about the rise and fall of life. The pressures we feel to take the leap of faith and overcome our insecurities and fears. The tension throughout the verse and the eventual release of the chorus reflects the stress, relief and beauty life throws at us every day. It's a journey we must see for ourselves. Let your mind go, Let it Loose.”
On 'Let It Loose', a fanfare of Mariachi trumpets leads the descent, deep down into a netherworld of delicious groove, it's all low-lit, loose-limbed and highly infectious. The muscles in your neck give way, helpless to its demands. You can't help it. Let it Loose. Once you're in, you're greeted by Alex Evans with a voice capable of turning real pain into raw beauty, this song a fine example of how it's done. Imbued with a rare natural soul, he leaps effortlessly from brooding, troubled depth to full-throated gospel glory as he leans in close to that groove.
Steve Powell's chiming guitar lands chords on the sparse landscape, strolling around the melody with its hands in its pockets, and chopping through the breaks with blasts of brass and a chorus of glorious harmonies, deep, wide and tall. Powell is the other half of The Wood, here on extensive duties of co-writing, playing guitar and bass, recording and producing.
Together as The Wood, they create music of passion and pain, of glory and redemption. Songs where all the right decisions have been made, deliberate and slowly, without any external pressure, only the enriching pleasure of artistic collaboration.
'Let it Loose' is available everywhere online, including Bandcamp and Spotify. The full 'Days' album will be released on November 15.

Acres Announce "What It's Like to Feel Worthless" EP Out 10/25 + Share "Deadwieight"
UK band ACRES are pleased to announce their new EP, What It's Like to Feel Worthless, out October 25 via Tooth & Nail/Solid State Records. Pre-order it here.
Alongside the news of the five-song EP, the band has shared the visualizer for the single "Deadweight." Watch and listen below.
The song marks new territory for the band, as it stretched and flexed different creative muscles when crafting the track.
"When writing 'Deadweight,' we were really conscious keeping all the elements of what we're known for but also welcoming in the new sound," says singer Ben Lumber. "It's cathartic and anthemic. Lyrically, it's almost like a conversation between two people expressing how they feel about each other, and coming to terms with how they feel. It's the first time I've written this way."
Regarding the EP as a whole, Lumber states, "This EP is us trying new things and trying to express ourselves in a new way. We will forever try and change things up with every release but also keeping what our fans like about our band."
Following the success of 2019's Lonely World, a record that harnessed melody and melancholy, Acres found themselves playing the biggest shows of their career so far and achieving things they had only previously dreamt about. But when the world around them suddenly felt so uncertain, they had a choice to make of what they should do next. Instead of rushing out with something that they didn't fully believe, they locked themselves away and painstakingly created something that not only represented where they had been but also where they wanted to end up. The result was Burning Throne, a perfectly crafted account of what it means to stare into your own oblivion and learn about who you really are from it.

1349 comments, "We have come to our journey’s end. We knew that only our strongest, darkest and most dedicated effort would enable us to reach our destination. Yet here we stand.
"A vast darkness is what lies in front of us. Where our voyage ends, yours begin. We bring no light but Hellfire itself."
The forthcoming offering was mastered by Jarrett Pritchard and produced and mixed by Pritchard & 1349 frontman Ravn at NEW CONSTELLATION R.M.P.
Pre-orders for 'The Wolf and the King' are now live HERE.
In addition, 1349 is now spreading hellfire across Europe with support from Kampfar and Afsky. The full run of shows can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.
Recorded at Amper Tone in Oslo, Norway, and New Constellation R.M.P. in Orlando, Florida, The Wolf and the King was produced and mixed by Ravn and Jarrett Pritchard (Eulogy, Pulchra Morte), the band’s long-standing sonic wizard who also worked on their previous two albums. The lyrics were written by the band’s longtime wordsmith, Svartalv, who has been working with 1349 for twenty years.
Jordan Barlow’s elaborate artwork for The Wolf and the King reflects the album’s chronological position in 1349’s discography. “This is our eighth album, and the artwork and lyrics are filled with references to this number of infinity,” Ravn explains. “You can basically go on a quest finding references to the number in the artwork.”
All told, The Wolf and the King is the exalted output of the joint force that is 1349. “We all work together to make the best black metal possible every time we release an album,” Ravn says. “This is our common goal. We’re a band on a mission.”

SOL INVICTO (Feat. Members of Deftones, Cypress Hill & Sikth) Announce Debut EP & Drop First Single
Underground metal visionaries Sol Invicto, the dynamic project formed by producer/guitarist Richie Londres, Stephen Carpenter (Deftones), and Eric Bobo (Cypress Hill), are thrilled to announce the release of their long-awaited debut EP, ‘Loosely Aware’, dropping November 8th, 2024. Accompanying the announcement is the release of their first official single, “The Obvious Play”, alongside an official lyric video. Fans can pre-save the EP HERE, stream the new track HERE and watch the visualizer below.
Speaking on the EP, the band shares,
“It’s been quite the journey to get this to the people, just a taste of what’s to come.”
After years of experimentation and anticipation, Sol Invicto is finally ready to reveal the first taste of what’s to come with single ’The Obvious Play”, featuring guest vocals from Sean Plague of Plague To Pyres (who are signed to Londres and Carpenter’s independent label Omyac Records). The EP marks the project's first official release following their extremely rare, private double album ‘Initium’ in 2017, a collection of demos and experimental tracks gathered over the years which was available only to members of their private club, Sol Invicto Comiti.
‘Loosely Aware’ showcases the band’s unique blend of furious riffs, razor-sharp lead guitar lines, industrial and electronic elements all infused with the percussive genius of Eric Bobo, drawing from the talents of Dan Foord (Sikth) on drums. The EP signals a bold new chapter for the band as they prepare to record a full-length metal album later this year. More on that coming soon. For now though, bask in the gloriously nasty, soul-crushingly heavy sounds of Sol Invicto’s “The Obvious Play” and get ready for ‘Loosely Aware’ to drop on November 8th.
About Sol Invicto
Sol Invicto is an underground metal powerhouse founded by producer/guitarist Richie Londres, alongside Stephen Carpenter of Deftones and Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill. Fusing heavy riffs, industrial beats, and Latin-infused percussion, the project has carved out its own unique space in the world of experimental metal.
The group initially blended Lo-Fi Industrial Drum & Bass with Carpenter’s crushing guitar work and Bobo’s dynamic percussion. As the sound evolved, Londres brought in Dan Foord from Sikth to take over on drums, pushing the band toward a more live, raw energy.
To date, Sol Invicto has released a single, exclusive double album titled Initium, a collection of demos and experimental tracks gathered over the years. Released in 2017 on limited edition signed vinyls, Initium remains a rare gem for members of the Sol Invicto Comiti and currently unavailable to the public.
After starting work on new music in 2018, the group’s plans were delayed, but 2024 will finally see the first official release from Sol Invicto—the 3-track EP titled ‘Loosely Aware’, featuring vocals from Sean Plague of Plague To Pyres, a Norwegian/British noisecore band signed to Carpenter and Londres’s label, Omyac Records.
'Loosely Aware’ is only the beginning for Sol Invicto. Waiting patiently to unleash their unique brand of heaviness into existence, they are now primed for global domination.
'Loosely Aware' is mixed by Adam “Nolly” Getgood (Periphery, Animals As Leaders). Mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano (Ghost, Paradise Lost). Artwork by Kwonny.
Ray Hawthorne Announces New Album "Ray Hawthorne Sucks" & New Single "Body Count"!
Ray Hawthorne is back and louder than ever, delivering a heavy dose of sarcasm, rage, and brutal honesty with his upcoming album, "Ray Hawthorne Sucks" set for release on November 7th, 2024. Leading the charge is the ferocious new single, "Body Count", which puts Hawthorne's biting wit and raw energy front and center. Fans can pre-save the new album HERE. Fans can also purchase a limited run of exclusive vinyl HERE.
Renowned for his work in North Kingsley alongside Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down, his inaugural solo release "Heartbreak Feels Good in a Place Like This" had initially crowned him as the Heartbreak Hero. His upcoming album, "Ray Hawthorne Sucks"takes a hard left turn that channels frustration, irony, and self-deprecating humor into the signature Ray Hawthorne genre-blurring sound.
Speaking on today's single release, Ray Hawthorne shares:
"I have very little self control. Like almost none. I can get addicted to pretty much anything, and if it exists I’ve probably overdone it at some point. Whether something is generally considered good or bad for you, I will beat that shit into the ground until I just
can’t do it anymore. So “Body Count” is about just fucking running. Causing problems and running so far away from them that your avoidance becomes a new problem in itself. Sometimes I feel like my life is just a continuous loop of ignoring things until I find myself back at square one. But hey, it is what it is, I guess when you stop doing drugs you just find new ways to fuck up your life. Even if that new way is a consistent and ever increasing hunt for rare Ninja Turtles figures."
Lifting the curtain behind his upcoming album release, Ray continues:
"The last 9 months have been pretty fucking crazy for me. In a completely unexpected turn of events, people (for some reason) started giving a shit about the silly songs I record in my bathroom. This has been equal parts exciting and nerve-racking. Throughout the last 9 months I have panicked, blown out my voice a few times, injured myself during the LA marathon, celebrated my dog’s second birthday, and released a new song almost every week. I don’t know how or why, but that’s what I did. This album is a collection of some of my favorite songs throughout that process, and listening back to them all in one go is somewhat interesting to me. Hopefully it’s slightly interesting to you."
While his work in North Kingsley and his debut EP showcased a different persona, Hawthorne’s latest solo work breaks the mold, leaning into chaotic energy with the release of the no-holds-barred single "Body Count." Layered with pounding drums, distorted guitars, and his trademark emotive vocals, the track is an explosive anthem exploring the themes of self-criticism, guilt, and emotional vulnerability while grappling with feelings of helplessness and regret. "Body Count" doesn’t pull any punches—it's Hawthorne’s rallying cry for anyone who feels like they’re at the end of their rope.
"Ray Hawthorne Sucks" is a self-aware, tongue-in-cheek title, but it’s also a reflection of the album’s themes—self-doubt, frustration, and embracing the chaos. The project is a far cry from the more cinematic, heartfelt journey of his debut EP "Heartbreak Feels Good in a Place Like This". Instead, it plunges listeners into a gritty, unpredictable soundscape, blending post-punk, hardcore, and Hawthorne’s emo roots into a genre-defying mix that is as chaotic as it is cathartic.
Be sure to to stay tuned for more new music from Ray Hawthorne coming very soon.
ABOUT RAY HAWTHORNE
Ray Hawthorne is basically an emo Muppet. His life revolves around pop culture references, Ninja Turtles action figures, and his dog named Oliver. Oliver laid on Ray’s feet during the recording of every song on his forthcoming album “Ray Hawthorne
Sucks”. This was mostly a positive experience, but there’s a particular section during the song “Panic Mode” where Ray had to yell “HEY HEY HEY HEY” over and over again. This made Oliver very tense, and he thought he was being scolded. Ray felt really bad for confusing Oliver in such a way. After the recording was done treats were had by all, and all was well.
Klone Share New Track "Magnetic"
French art rock band Klone have shared "Magnetic," the latest single from their forthcoming full-length album, The Unseen, set for release on November 8 through Berlin's Pelagic Records. Pre-order it here.
A bold new journey through a singular yet contrasting soundscape, The Unseen is an immersive, dreamlike experience that pushes Klone's already sumptuous sound to new, magisterial heights and speaks to the significance of things that at first glance seem to lack it.
"Magnetic" is out now. Listen below.
Emotive and conceptual, Klone have once again broken new sonic ground and built further on their signature expansive sound. Since the release of Le Grand Voyagein 2019, Klone have risen to new heights across the globe, touring in Europe, USA, Australia, and Mexico alongside the likes of Devin Townsend, Leprous, Riverside, Pain of Salvation, Gojira, and blowing away festival crowds at Hellfest 2024, Prog Power USA, Midsummer Prog, and Cruise to the Edge. Coming off the back of their phenomenal album Meanwhile, which was released in 2023, The Unseen is a masterpiece of both performance and production that sees Klone wearing their years of experience proudly on their sleeves.
With every member and every instrument pushed to its expressive limit, The Unseen has a might and intensity to it that, whilst sometimes abrasive, simultaneously feels natural, coherent and unified as the band move from motif and melody as one; guided as ever by the unmistakable voice and vision of Yann Ligner.
"Magnetic," the third single taken from The Unseen, is a defiant and direct ode to love. The track's comparatively simple, yet undeniably effective structure sees the five-piece blend pounding drums and acoustic guitar warmth with soaring euphoric melodies and Ligner's powerful lyrics to reach a fist-pumping, pulse-racing crescendo.
With such an inimitable 25 years of music already behind them, it seems apt that The Unseen is also Klone's tenth full-length release. The album serves as a milestone that uses reflections on the past as a means of appreciating the beauty of the present, with the band employing their shared decades of creativity and collaboration to offer enlightening new perspectives on the here and now.
About "Magnetic," Yann Ligner says, "This track’s strength lies in its simplicity. Its simple structure gets straight to the point and offers a breath of fresh air. It is an honest, joyous and rebellious ode to love."
The Unseen will be released on November 8.
Manchester legacy act INCA BABIES releases 'Spacewalk', previewing 'Ghost Mechanic Nine' LP
"Combine Brian Setzer's twang, the silver lining amidst Bauhaus' dark expanse and the post-punk fever fired up by Gang of Four, you'd end up with the sonic output of long-time deathrock supremos Inca Babies... a captivating blend of angularity and intensity with a driving rhythm" ~ The Spill Magazine
"From their emergence in 1982, they've sculpted a perpetual warped seduction... Their almost serpentine invention and dark musical incitements have continued to inspire and invigorate... truly one of the leading lights and template setting protagonists of British rock ‘n’ roll" ~ Ringmaster Review
"Thirty years down the line the Inca Babies' recordings are not just a collection of outstanding songs from independent music's golden age, but for those of us who were there, they remain pretty much a life statement; a declaration of intent" ~ Isolation Records
Manchester post-punk death-rock rockers Inca Babies are back with a new collection of darkly invigorating tunes on their ninth studio album 'Ghost Mechanic Nine'. Ahead of this, they present the lead track 'Spacewalk', a timeless Rockabilly groove that was inspired by Link Wray, Alan Vega and Brian Setzer, but set in a 50s going on 2020s Sci-Fi space opera. The single also comes with B-side 'Monster In The Deep'.
This album visits a similar place to where Inca Babies started in the 80s with their psychobilly trash rock. 'Spacewalk' sees the band reconnect with their roots, where The Gun Club and The Cramps met - it is in this intersection where Inca Babies found their most passionate and loyal following. This song is a calling card for the album, taking listeners back to a sound that is raw, spiky and reminiscent of their early days in the 80s.
Today, the band is made up of Harry Stafford (guitar, keys, vocals), Rob Haynes(drums, percussion), Jim Adama (bass) and Kevin G. Davy (trumpet). This will be their first release in three years, following their 2021 album ‘Swamp Street Soul’. Continuing their explosive exploration of goth, punk and death-rock jazz-blues, Inca Babies deliver an album that explores the essence of the 80s death-rock vibe, with a tribute to the strong riffing and cool, dead-pan delivery of the dark wave scene at the time.
“This is a rockabilly Sci-fi song about the wonders of the Space age. From Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 to the mega cities of Blade Runner and the fact that when I was a kid, in the far-off future, 2024 was supposed to be a silver suited, hover car space age with pills instead of Pizza," says Harry Stafford.
"We were to have a completely automated world on the moon. Thank God this fulsome nonsense never happened so it’s time to reintroduce Rockabilly to the world’s consciousness instead.”
Recorded at 6Db Studios in Salford under Simon ‘Ding’ Archer (The Fall, PJ Harvey), this album was recorded and mixed by ‘Ding’ and Stafford over two years, with with 'Ding' also contributing serious sonic and dub flourishes. Marco Butcher mastered this record at his Boombox studio in North Carolina.
Originally comprised of Harry Stafford, Bill Marten, Mike Keeble and Pete Bogg, Inca Babies began in 1983 in the now-legendary deck-access flats of Hulme in Manchester. Intended as executive ‘cities in the sky’, they quickly became cockroach-infested slums inhabited by students, artists and druggies. They released their 1984 debut single 'Interior' on their Black Lagoon label with an unusual sound for Manchester, which was then associated with Joy Division, Buzzcocks, The Fall and The Smiths. With a nod to their influences, Writer CP Lee dubbed them "the Hulme Cramps" for their Gothabilly twang.
A vibrant part of Britain's early postpunk / goth /death rock scene, they amassed a steady following through touring and by releasing a further six singles and four albums over the next five years, all of which entered the UK Indie Charts. They also recorded four sessions for BBC's legendary John Peel show between 1984 and 1988 before calling it quits that year.
Since reforming in 2007, they've released three albums and toured extensively around Europe, Russia, North America, India and beyond. Renewed interest in the Incas was propelled by Cherry Red Records 'Best of’ compilation release ‘Inca Babies 1983-87: Plutonium’. After Bill Marten's death in 2008, the band decided to continue creating music, subsequently releasing their Death Blues Album Trilogy - 'Death Message Blues' (2010), 'Deep Dark Blue' (2012) and 'The Stereo Plan' (2014).
As of October 3, 'Spacewalk' will be available everywhere, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp. On November 29, the ‘Ghost Mechanic Nine’ album will be released on vinyl and digitally, and can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp and the Louder Than War shop.

TURMION KÄTILÖT - RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'PULSSI'
TURMION KÄTILÖT release today their second single ‘Pulssi’ featuring Kasperi Heikkinen from BEAST IN BLACK. The single coincides with the publication of the band's first autobiography ‘En tahdo unohtaa koskaan’ (‘I never want to forget’). The new album RESET will be released on October 25th via Nuclear Blast Records.
MC Raaka Pee comments about 'Pulssi': You know you're living when you feel your pulse up to your gums. The song arrangement and lyrics were born in one evening without any pre-planning or notes. That night the moon burned my face. This time, the song was kept really simple. I wanted to include a riff that I would have been able to play as a 14-year-old. Sort of like Smoke On The Water for many youngsters at the time when they first tried playing the guitar. For me, that was the 90s and you can hear that kind of middle school riffing in Pulssi. Works damn well I think! Give it a try yourself!
He continues about Reset: "I would say that Reset is like a bastard son or daughter of previous records - with tasty new spices added to the whole thing. It has everything you could ever want from us and more. One of the special twists of this album is the vocal parts: the fierce screams are counterbalanced by a huge melodiousness - often at the same time."

About TURMION KÄTILÖT:
TURMION KÄTILÖT, the Finnish-singing industrial and electronic metal band hailing from the barren wastelands of Savo, is rapidly becoming a new favorite among open-minded metal fans in the mid-2020s. The odds of their rise to prominence are nothing short of great. Known for their ecstatic and theatrical concerts, TURMION KÄTILÖT invites you to dive into their twisted world of "disco metal." The current lineup features singers MC Raaka Pee and Shag-U, guitarist Bobby Undertaker, bassist Master Bates, keyboardist RunQ, and drummer DQ. Since the early 2000s, this vivid sextet has been delivering a unique blend of electrifying heavy music, characterized by its peculiar, perverted, and catchy style. Their journey includes numerous sold-out concerts, gold and platinum records, and Emma nominations (Finland's equivalent to the Grammys).
TURMION KÄTILÖT's depraved disco ball has also shone beyond Finland. Many fans remember their legendary European tour with PAIN in 2011. In the 2020s, their fame continued to grow, highlighted by their selection as the opening band for NIGHTWISH's sold-out European arena tour in 2022. Now, TURMION KÄTILÖT is ready to unveil their latest creation: Reset. Founding member and main songwriter MC Raaka Pee explains, "Reset is simply the perfect name for our new studio album. For us, Reset is more about taking advantage of everything we've learned over two decades and then adding new nuances to our metallic disco vortex." With twenty years and ten studio albums behind them, Turmion Kätilöt continues to push their boundaries. "We have relentlessly raised our own bar with every record," says the band. "Reset is our best album to date, and we simply couldn't be more satisfied."
Reset features all the hallmarks of TURMION KÄTILÖT: twisted synths, underfoot grooves, pounding beats, and cryptic lyrics, all with a stronger musical vision than ever before. The album is described as a "bastard child" of their previous records, with new spices added. The vocal parts, a mix of fierce screams and melodiousness, add a special twist.
"We have gained more courage to explore drastic musical and lyrical angles," the band states. "Sometimes the lyrics and the musical mood seem to come from completely different worlds, but that's exactly what makes the whole thing fascinating. That's what Turmion Kätilöt is all about!"
Key tracks from the album include singles "Yksi jumalista," "Pulssi," and "Sinä 2.0," though the band emphasizes that the entire album is a varied entity. "If we had to decide now which new songs to perform at future shows, we would play the whole new album!"
The production of Reset benefits from the powerful sound engineered by keyboardist and producer RunQ in his brand-new studio. The album's sound palette ranges from completely organic to entirely electronic, creating a hugely powerful combination. Reset also offers an interesting opportunity to compare old and new TURMION KÄTILÖT with the song 'Schlachter,' a new German version of their classic 'Teurastaja.' Originally released on their debut album, this updated version features new arrangements and lyrics. While the band remains committed to singing in Finnish, they remain open to future possibilities. "In the future, we can sing in English, German, Swedish, or we may invent our own language. Let's see." MC Raaka Pee concludes with a confident smile, "Trust us, we know what we are doing. For this band, it took twenty years, but we finally know what we are doing. Now we are just going to enjoy the ride. So, if someone is interested in a wild ride on the twisted side, please reset and jump in!"
EKOH Announces New Album "Pressure" + Shares "Throne" Feat. Skydxddy
From the purveyor of some of the best, most impassioned hip-hop and metal collaborations out there, EKOH is aiming to give his fans what they’re looking for this October: a full album. Due on October 29, EKOH will be releasing Pressure, an LP that will encapsulate the very things that have catapulted this young MC to the top of the Octane charts with every single. Pre-order it here.
Packed into each of the 15 tracks are elements of his coined genre, "heart hop," high-energy songs that highlight what makes the melding of rap and anthemic vocals so very special.
For fans of lyricism that cuts through the monotony with truthful, honest depictions of the world, Pressure will be a treasure trove of frenzied songs, including "THRONE," which is EKOH’s latest collab with internet-favorite, Skydxddy. Listen below.
On "Throne," EKOH offers, "This is our rap and rock crossover about overcoming your personal demons and all of the people who doubted you to end up back on your throne."
A dedication to triumph over defeat and paying homage to your own perseverance, Pressure, EKOH describes, "was the weight I carried through every moment of making this album. It wasn't just creative pressure — it was the pressure to hold everything together in my life, to meet expectations, to stay strong in my sobriety. That feeling consumed everything — my stress, my fear, even my joy. Every song is a release, a way to finally breathe again under all that weight. I don't know if pressure always creates diamonds, but it gave me the most raw, vulnerable, and boundary-pushing music I've ever made."
An MC with a business man's acumen, EKOH's crowd-pleasing hit "Freeverse 3" spawned a sponsorship and perhaps one of the biggest collabs of his career, a fully EKOH customized Vans shoe — check out EKOH's skate shoe here.
Not a stranger to bringing crowds a set they didn't expect, Pressure is fueled by robust musicians including Buddy Nielsen from Senses Fail and the power-hitting, world renowned rapper, Tech N9ne.
Catch the show that has kicks flying through the air as EKOH travels across the U.S., including a few festival stops and venues across the states. Never one to disappoint, keep your eyes on this Vegas native who has his pulse on the genres that move bodies and bang heads — more coming your way soon!

Pete International Airport presents 'Out Past The Razor Wire (HYM Post-Industrial Remix)' from November EP
Portland-based Pete International Airport presents the single 'Out Past The Razor Wire (HYM Post-Industrial Remix)', created by Holy Youth Movement, a long-term PIA collaborator. This racy adrenaline-filled track is the second taste of Pete International Airport's new 'Sea of Eyes' EP, set for release in November via cult label Little Cloud Records,
Influenced by the energy of rave culture, this is a sonic whirlwind of excitement for listeners, which would have fit perfectly in such iconic soundtracks as 'Hackers' or 'Snatch' with its motorik groove and dynamic energy.
Pete International Airport revolves around Peter G. Holmström of The Dandy Warhols and Sun Atoms, whose sonic vision takes us on a meticulously crafted psychedelic journey into the dark heart of electronic rock. Named after a Dandies song, this project nails the elusive aesthetic of unexpected yet inviting sound art. PIA's quest to build immersive soundscapes that are also timeless songs is successful, in part, due to Holmström’s uncanny ability to curate and his penchant for dropping collaborators into challenging creative spaces—both virtual and actual—then letting them duke it out.
The 'Sea of Eyes' EP consists of five tracks that are rooted in PIA's third album 'It Felt Like The End of the World', released in late 2023 - all five of them co-authored with and featuring vocals by Alexander Hackett. They earlier introduced 'Sea of Eyes' featuring vocals by Alexander Hackett of Montreal dream-gaze outfit Pang Attack. The intriguing shadow-dance video was directed by Francesca Bonci.
The 'Sea of Eyes' EP was mixed by Jeremy Sherrer at Spooky Electric Co. (Modest Mouse, The Shins, The Dandy Warhols) and mastered by Dave Coley at Elysian Mastering. Most tracks were recorded at Holmström’s Air Traffic Control studio in Portland, but drums were recorded at The Trench Studios by The Dandy Warhols' sound engineer Gregg Williams..
"I really wanted to showcase Alexander Hackett’s vocal and lyrical contributions to my record so, using the excuse of a video for 'Sea of Eyes' to release an EP of remixes seemed like a good idea. Of course lots of remixes don’t use the vocals…anyway…I got to work with Andy Bell (Ride) and Tom Smith (Holy Youth Movement) as well as long time collaborator Daniel Sparks (omniscuro) to put it together," says Holmström.
"I first heard Pang Attack when SUUNS shared a track on their socials. At first I was disappointed because it didn’t sound like SUUNS (I was obsessing on them hard) but, for some reason, I kept listening. There was something there that I connected with. Alex’s lyrics and melodic choices were perfect and I had to find out if he was interested in working with me. 'Sea Of Eyes' is the second song that Alex and I collaborated on. His lyrics perfectly capture the vibe of the world at that time".
The 'Sea of Eyes' EP is a logical progression (and continuation) of 'It Felt Like The End of the World' and the 'Tic Tac' 7" single, which jointly boast the cream of the neo-psychedelic crop, including Slowdive's Rachel Goswell, The Brian Jonestown Massacre's Anton Newcombe, Dion Lunadon (A Place To Bury Strangers, The D4), Cheap Trick's Tom Petersson, Lisa Elle of Dark Horses, and members of Sun Atoms, Guiding Light and Hopewell.
As of October 1, 'Out Past The Razor Wire (HYM Post-Industrial Remix)' will be be available exclusively via Bandcamp, where the EP is available for pre-order (digitally and on limited edition cassette). The album 'It Felt Like The End of the World' can also be found there, available digitally, on CD and vinyl as a Deluxe double-album with gatefold sleeve. The 'Tic Tac' single with Rachel Goswell and it's 7" vinyl version are available both via Pete International Airport and The Dandy Warhols.

ABOUT BEHEMOTH:
In the annals of metal there is no band more synonymous with an unswerving commitment to the single-minded defiance of expectation than BEHEMOTH. Over the course of their remarkable 33-year career, these Polish hellraisers – spearheaded by Adam Darski, aka Nergal – are more than just the architects of their country’s legendary extreme metal scene. Over the course of over three decades and twelve albums, Nergal’s singular vision has forged BEHEMOTH into something far more than a mere black metal band. Beyond any confines of genre, they have grown to become nothing less than the personification of rebellion, individuality and unflinching self-expression informed by a literate worldview and worldliness that’s resulted in a locking of horns with everything from the mainstream press to the Polish Catholic church – most notably manifesting in Nergal’s trial for blasphemy in 2010 that only served to expose the deep-seated hypocrisies that his music seeks to challenge.
