Fredlös have released their new single "Farsot"

Fredlös have released their new single "Farsot", taken from the band’s upcoming self-titled debut album. The single is accompanied by a music video.

Fredlös came together in the Spring of 2021, rising from the ashes of previous musical adventures, based in the country around Norrtalje, northeast of Stockholm. United by a deep sense of their historical roots and a love of dark sounds, they create a truly epic landscape, blending heavy guitars with more traditional instruments and a need to relate history true to the facts. The result is a brooding yet effortlessly melodic sound where the listener can survive and thrive in the dark.

Fredlös' self-titled debut album will be released in the Spring of 2023 and contains 9 dark, heavy, intense songs. Lyrically the album is a journey through the late Middle Ages, recounting the historical events from the perspective of the common people. Musically it's a tour de force that defies any one description, weaving metal, rock, folk, and traditional music themes into a rich and varied tapestry.

THE MOBILE HOMES Team With Johan Renck On New Single "The Sorrow Stays for Good"

New LP 'Trigger' Out March 26th

Swedish synth-pop icons THE MOBILE HOMES have released a new single and music video, titled ”The Sorrow Stays for Good”, from their upcoming album 'Trigger'. The music video features the Emmy & Swedish Grammy award-winning director and musician Johan Renck on guest vocals and is the fifth and final single from the Swedes ahead of releasing 'Trigger', which will see a March 26th release via Wild Kingdom.

Trigger shows us a more grown-up sound from The Mobile Homes. It still flirts with the ’80s, but now with more darkness. Andreas tells us about the album, “We’ve done it differently this time; Hasse’s been writing more directly from my musical ideas. To me, the songs are about being older, how your perspective of life has changed. The music is inspired by the bands we first fell for, after punk, in our early teens. There was something that triggered me while listening to them again, maybe it was the youth, memories... Well, I think our lyrics have changed; like it’s developed with a lot more freedom. And that’s the intention.”

The Mobile Homes formed in 1984, and have had various lineup arrangements since that time. Now, fans will hear founding members return: with brothers Andreas Brun, Patrik Brun, and Hans Erkendal, along with Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen (Kent).

The band has collaborated with Julian Beeston (Nitzer Ebb), and Denniz Pop, Karl Bartos (ex Kraftwerk), among others. They’ve also toured with bands such as Laibach and Nitzer Ebb. In 1998 they released the album 'The Mobile Homes', with Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk.
