Defeated Sanity Announce U.S. Headline Tour

Fresh from the aftermath of wrecking the road with Sanguisugabogg, Despised Icon and Corpse Pile, Defeated Sanity are announcing their first U.S. headline tour in support of Chronicles of Lunacy. The brutal innovators of technical death metal will perform their latest Billboard-crushing album in full on top of pit-slamming favorites from their early classics. 

"From the first blast-beat barrage, the tempo was merciless, the riffs jagged and precise, the breakdowns heavy enough to register physically", New Noise wrote about Defeated Sanity's recent stop in Chicago. "What stood out was how they balanced their signature technical flair, unexpected time changes and bursts of jazzy dissonance with sheer raw impact". 

Supporting Defeated Sanity for all 27 dates on next year's headlining coast-to-coast run of the U.S. are South African heavies Vulvodynia and New Zealand death metal slammers Organectomy. Excresence, Scasm and Horrific Vision will join on select dates.

AGENBITE MISERY Announce Run Of New England Dates

New Hampshire experimental extreme-metal trio AGENBITE MISERY will embark on a four-date Northeastern tour this February in support of their forthcoming debut album Remorse of Conscience. The tour brings the band’s singular fusion of blackened sludge, dissonant death metal, post-punk, and ambient drone to four venues across New England and the Northeast.

The tour is in support of their upcoming album, Remorse of Conscience. Remorse of Conscience adapts James Joyce's Ulysses into eight tracks that merge literary themes with extreme metal. Written in 2023 and recorded in 2024, the album was self-produced by the band with mixing by Eric Sauter and mastering by Brad Boatright. Each track reframes a chapter of the novel as aggressive, atmospheric sound. Highlights include “Telemachean Echoes,” a blast of power violence, “Cascara Sagrada,” a warped meditation on Bloom’s morning routine, and “A Charitable View of Temporary Insanity,” a funeral doom epic. The record concludes with “Mnesterophonia,” which transforms Molly Bloom’s final monologue into a cathartic crescendo.

Though rooted in dense literary reference, Remorse of Conscience aims beyond academia, toward the raw human experience at its core. With this album and their upcoming tour, AGENBITE MISERY present a project that refuses compromise or categorization, instead confronting the question of whether meaning can still be found amid the wreckage of modern life. Their answer is clear: Yes, we will. Yes.

About AGENBITE MISERY:
AGENBITE MISERY is a New Hampshire-based trio that fuses literary ambition with the visceral force of experimental metal. Formed in 2022 by guitarist Sam Graff, bassist Cam Netland, and drummer Adam Richards, the band emerged from a shared academic background in literature and a mutual devotion to the most extreme and boundary-pushing corners of heavy music.

At its core, AGENBITE MISERY is a project rooted in transformation. Their work doesn’t merely incorporate influences, it dismantles them, reshapes them, and recontextualizes them within a vision that is as cerebral as it is punishing. Their sound weaves together elements of black metal, sludge, death metal, post-punk, ambient, and noise rock, unified not by style but by intent: to confront, to immerse, and to challenge.

Individually, the members bring a history of musical experimentation: Sam Graff and Adam Richards were longtime collaborators in the avant-garde project UNDER GREEN SUNS and the Boston metalcore outfit VICARIUM, while Cam Netland previously fronted the Connecticut stoner/black metal band COAGULATE. Together, they’ve forged something entirely distinct, a collective voice that draws from their diverse histories but refuses to be defined by any one genre or scene.

Before embarking on the Darkness Over X-Mas tour, Caliban are releasing "Dear Suffering" (Feat. Andreas Bjulver of Cabal) Live in Cologne 2025 (Live Video)."

The song is part of the digital Back From Hell (Deluxe Edition). For the release, the band didn't only capture some songs from their home show in Cologne last summer, but also recorded "Anthem," a brand new song, as well as two cover versions: "You Only Live Once" and "Shout."

Close Enemies Rock California and Florida in 2026! ​

CHAMA was recorded at the Platinum Underground Studio in Mesa, Arizona by John Aquilino. John has worked with Max and company multiple times before and is not only a talented engineer but a family friend. The album was produced by Zyon Cavalera and Arthur Rizk. The latter was also responsible for the mixing and mastering. Rizk has not only worked with the Cavalera family numerous times before, but has also helped to shape the world of heavy metal in the modern day. SOULFLY enlisted Carletta Parrish to create the album artwork. For the album, Igor Amadeus Cavalera (GO AHEAD & DIE, NAILBOMB, HEALING MAGIC) played bass and Mike De Leon played guitar. ABOUT BAT:

The power trio, including Ryan Waste, Nick Poulos, and Chris Marshall, decamped to Philadelphia in June 2021 where Arthur Rizk recorded the basic tracks for Under The Crooked Claw. Yavé Rust tracked lead guitars and vocals later when the band was back in Richmond, ultimately to be mixed by Rizk and mastered by Joel Grind. The artwork for the album was inked by Brandon Holt and colored by Margaret Rolicki.

Enigmatic black metal horde UADA and industrial metal artist MORTIIS have teamed up for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring Wraith Knight. In addition, MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair.

Before PIEBALD were known for their anthemic sing-alongs and offbeat charm, there was ...Venetian Blinds, an evolution from hardcore roots into something uniquely their own with all of their trademark chaos and cleverness. 

Originally released in 1999 on Big Wheel Recreation, If It Weren't For Venetian Blinds, It Would Be Curtains For Us All brought Piebald's blend of the sincere and the satirical to the '90s emo and indie rock scene 
 
Now, Iodine Recordings proudly presents a deluxe reissue of this quintessential record. It has been completely remastered for vinyl by Jack Shirley (Joyce Manor, Quicksand) at The Atomic Garden, and has been out of print since its original release. Calling all collectors!

This remastered edition features fully updated artwork reconstructed from original source materials and photos, as well as a retrospective commentary written by the band.
 
Springing from the thriving Merrimack Valley scene that produced Converge and Cave In, Venetian Blinds bridged the gap between underground post-hardcore experimentation and the hook-driven songwriting that would soon define an era. Fresh off a sold-out Summer 2025 support slot for BABYMETAL and recently serving as direct support for Hailstorm in Europe, Indian folk metal band BLOODYWOOD today announce their 2026 "System Of A Brown Tour," featuring support from diverse worldwide acts. Joining Bloodywood on this run are genre-bending, boundary-breaking U.S. metalcore band The Pretty Wild;Mexican "Flow Pesado" rockers Ladrones; and Catalonian melodic metal band Ankor. 

It's going to be an evening of eclectic metal that will surely thrill hard rock fans. 

"Our spring headline run of the U.S. will be an epic full circle moment," states Raoul Kerr, the band's rapper vocalist. "It started this summer supporting BABYMETAL and it's going to culminate in a run where we bring our full length set to the U.S. for the first time. It's the best songs from our new album and the best of our first album — it's the kind of set that pushes the limit of any venue to the max and we can't wait to bring it to all our supporters there. We're also playing Sick New World for the first time and returning to Welcome to Rockville as well as Sonic Temple, so this tour is stacked and we're beyond ready to go."  

Bloodywood, who've been tipped by PASTE, Revolver, Consequence, Guitar World, Metal Injection, and more, have quickly cemented their reputation as a "can't miss" live act, which can be seen in these performance videos from their sold-out appearances in London earlier this year. 

The 25-city tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off on Friday, April 10 at Wooly's in Des Moines making stops at the premiere festivals, such as WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE, SONIC TEMPLE, and the return of SICK NEW WORLD, in addition to crossing North America before wrapping up in Detroit at Saint Andrew's Hall on Friday, May 15.

Vana Announces First Ever US Headline Run: THE LADY IN RED TOUR

Fresh off her signing to Sumerian Records and the release of "Pray," Vana announces her first US headline tour. Vana: The Lady In Red Tour launches April 17th, 2026, in Atlanta and runs through early June, hitting 31 cities across the US and Canada. Special guests Cloudyfield, Deadlands, and RedHook join the run.
