MACHINE HEAD | UNATØNED OUT NOW + RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR 'ØUTSIDER'

Bay Area icons MACHINE HEAD have sharpened their sound into its most direct and impactful form with the release of their eleventh album, UNATØNED. The record - which is now available via Nuclear Blast Records - is a testament to momentum, an album honed to its sharpest edge, forged on creative discipline and the hunger to push forward.

In celebration of the new album, the band reveal the music video for the track, 'ØUTSIDER'. The music video, directed by David Parada and Robb Flynn as creative director, was filmed at the San Antonio performance on their current North American Tour.

MACHINE HEAD comments,
"💥 UNATØNED ØUT NØW💥 -- Head Cases! Our monumental new album is out everywhere!

🎥 We've also unleashed a RAGER of a music video for the track "ØUTSIDER" which was filmed at the historical landmark The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, TX on our current headlining North American tour with In Flames, Lacuna Coil and Unearth.

ØUTSIDER is an anthem that has kinship with anyone who’s had to cut toxic people loose. These last few years, I’ve had to let go of a lot of relationships, and I know I’m not alone in that. This track is for anyone who’s been there.

Celebrate with us by blasting the new album
UNATØNED! Give us your first impressions Head Cases!!"

MACHINE HEAD - ANNOUNCE SLAUGHTER THE MARTØUR NØRTH AMERICA 2024 WITH DIRECT SUPPORT FEAR FACTORY

In an electrifying announcement that will cause anticipatory convulsions through the world of metal, Bay Area icons MACHINE HEAD have announced the first leg of their 'Slaughter The Martøur Nørth America 2024’ tour. Forgoing their “An Evening With…” format for the first time in a decade, MACHINE HEAD will have LA’s cyber-metal masters FEAR FACTORY, Sweden’s ORBIT CULTURE, and Louisville, KY’s GATES TO HELL in tow guaranteeing your 2024 starts off as heavy as humanly possible!

'Slaughter The Martøur Nørth America 2024’ will kick off with a “hometown” show for MACHINE HEAD, their first since 2020 in San Francisco on January 19th. Then the tour heads north with shows in the Pacific Northwest as well as eight shows in Canada. Other stops include Chicago, Orlando, and Houston before concluding in Los Angeles on February 24th at The Bellwether.

MACHINE HEAD’s founder Robb Flynn states, "Head Cases! This will be the greatest metal tour on earth! So stoked to be getting back on the road in America/Canada with 4 masters of soul-crushing heaviness and an absolutely earth-shattering bill. Fear Factory has long been our brothers-in-arms, pioneers, and innovators of a sound that had yet to exist. Orbit Culture are the fast-rising Swedish modern metal maniacs bringing their unique spin to the world, and Gates To Hell absolutely blew my mind at Milwaukee Metalfest with their sheer savage brutality. North America, we’re ready to crush skulls, crush beers, and crush everything in our path!

FEAR FACTORY's Dino Cazares comments, “We are honored to be touring with the mighty Machine Head. We came up in the metal scene together and both bands have stamped their mark in modern metal, plus Robb has been a good friend of mine for close to 30 years. We are fucking excited for the metal fans to see this amazing package and we can’t wait to get out there. Let’s Fucking Rage!"

Says ORBIT CULTURE, "It is such an honor for us to be going on tour with Machine Head and Fear Factory across North America, we look forward to bringing you all our brand of metal. Beware of the antlers North America!”

GATES TO HELLcomments,“Machine Head was one of the bands that inspired Gates to Hell to form. They’re a personal favorite to several of us. Out of all the tours we’ve had the opportunity to be a part of over the past year, this is definitely the one we’ve been most excited for. Very excited to share the stage with Machine Head, Fear Factory, and Orbit Culture.”

This tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for all metalheads in North America. Prepare for an onslaught of sonic intensity as these 4 bands unite for what will undoubtedly be one of the most talked-about metal tours for years!

MACHINE HEAD - RELEASE 'ARRØWS IN WØRDS FRØM THE SKY' MUSIC VIDEO, IN MOBILE-FRIENDLY ASPECT RATIO

Last year, Bay Area metal icons MACHINE HEAD unleashed their incendiary 10th studio album, ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN. Today, the band releases the music video for the track 'ARRØWS IN WØRDS FRØM THE SKY'. Directed by Jon (Jern) Watson and edited by Mike Sloat, the mobile-friendly video features live footage from the band's 2022 U.S. and European tours.

Watch the mobile-friendly music video for 'ARRØWS IN WØRDS FRØM THE SKY', below.

MACHINE HEAD's Robb Flynn comments, "The last few videos have been very artistic and thematic continuing the black & white scope of the concept record. For this we just wanted to have an old school, 90’s style live video, that is more or less a tribute to our absolutely insane fans (the Head Cases) going bat shit crazy, mixed with some good ol’ life-on-the-road-getting-hammered-backstage-vibe. Enjoy!"

MACHINE HEAD’s new album, ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN is a 13-track concept album set in a decimated futuristic wasteland where the sky is stained crimson red. The crux of the story is based on two main characters:

Character #1 Ares: (pronounced Aries), our main, who loses the love of his life (Amethyst) and goes on a murderous rampage against the vile sect responsible for her murder.

Character #2 Eros: (pronounced Arrows) the perpetrator, who loses his mother to a drug overdose and becomes radicalized in the aftermath. Eros goes off the deep end manifesting his own killing spree.

MACHINE HEAD Announces Their Electric Happy Hour (Live) Spring 2023 Tour!

Announce Their Electric Happy Hour (Live) Spring 2023 Tour!

Ticket Pre-Sale Begins Weds, March 14th

Public On-Sale Friday, March 17th

Following the release of their 10th full-length album “ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN” to staggering 10/10 reviews across the board and Top 10 chartings across the globe, MACHINE HEAD will embark on an 18-date trek across the U.S.. The Electric Happy Hour (Live) tour will kick off on May 15th in Ventura, CA, and will make its way to Des Moines, Fort Wayne, and Detroit before ending in Los Angeles on June 9th.

Says MACHINE HEAD founder Robb Flynn, “Really stoked to be heading out in America again, the last tour had so many moments that were so strong and just beyond life affirming!"

Continues Flynn, "It makes me super proud that we have stayed the path playing these intimate venues doing 2 and 1/2 to 3 hour 'Evening With-style shows' for the last 8 years.  These shows are incredibly rewarding for us as musicians and to people who come out to just go fucking nuts with us.  Eight years ago the idea was to provide OUR PEOPLE with an experience no other metal band was/is doing right now, and somehow this crazy idea stuck! Me personally... I’m getting really bored of going to see a band headline for 1 hour and 5 minutes, or trudge 50 miles down to the amphitheater to pay $40 for parking and $15 bucks for beer to see a show, so being able to offer something unique in this day and age feels really good.”

"We're especially looking forward to the EHH format with Sir Vogg joining us on this upcoming tour. In reality, I see it becoming even a bit more free-form, you might get 5 songs off of 'The Blackening,' you might get 5 songs off of 'Burn My Eyes,' you might get 5 cover songs! The setlist has changed a little from day to day, and the beer always flows, so come down a bang with us for Electric Happy Hour (Live)!"

MACHINE HEAD Announces Fall "ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN" U.S. Tour

Ticket Pre-Sale Begins Weds, Sep 7th

Public On-Sale Friday, Sep 9th

Following the release of their 10th full-length album “ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN” to staggering 10/10 reviews across the board and Top 10 chartings across the globe, MACHINE HEAD will embark on an intimate venue tour through small-town America as part of their Electric Happy Hour (Live). Dates include some tour favorites that MACHINE HEADhave had over the years including oft-missed places such as Minot, North Dakota, Springfield, Missouri, Huntington, West Virginia and Charleston, South Carolina.

Enthuses frontman/founder Robb Flynn, “Were fucking STOKED to get out and demolish venues in some of our favorite small towns in America. We have had an awesome and productive pandemic break writing our new album 'ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN,' but now it’s time for Machine Head to go melt some faces!! The reaction to our 'Electric Happy Hour (Live)' shows in Scotland so far are nothing short of incredible, so for this first leg of this U.S. run we will continue and will see us performing solo for 2 ½ to 3 hours a night.” We LOVED performing our online shows which we dubbed Electric Happy Hour for you Head Cases over the pandemic, the loose, beer-drenched and unscripted setlist, the deep-cuts, the random cover songs, it gave us the freedom to do whatever the fuck we wanted for as long as we wanted every night was liberating. It’s not what everyone else is doing, and frankly, there are not a lot of bands who could even pull it off, but Machine Head CAN pull it off, and we are excited as fuck to do it again. We are carving our own path here, playing by our own rules, and as an artist, it’s the best feeling in the world, so come down and rage!!

Bassist Jared MacEachern proclaims, “We’re finally bringing 'ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN' and more to you, America! We're gonna kick it off in the small towns, a real nooks and crannies kind of run. We’re gonna be raging right in each others faces, so be ready for a sweaty, beer-drenched, throat-ripping good time!"

MACHINE HEAD’s new album, "ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN," is a 13-track concept album set in a decimated futuristic wasteland where the sky is stained crimson red.

The album's lyrics detail how their lives intertwine.

The colossal concept album comes with a list of equally colossal packaging for various physical formats, including 16 different vinyl editions worldwide, a deluxe vinyl box set (with bonus tracks), CDs (both old-school longbox and jewel box options), multi-color cassettes, and a limited-edition Digipak with bonus tracks.

MACHINE HEAD ANNOUNCE COLOSSAL NEW 10TH ALBUM "ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN” OUT AUGUST 26 (NUCLEAR BLAST X IMPERIUM RECORDINGS)

Bay Area metal titans MACHINE HEAD has announced the details of their forthcoming tenth album, the immense and unapologetic, 'ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN' coming August 26th, 2022 (via Nuclear Blast x Imperium Recordings). The debut of the first video from the album, the ferocious "CHØKE ØN THE ASHES ØF YØUR HATE can be viewed below.

'ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN' is a 13 track concept album set in a decimated futuristic wasteland where the sky is stained crimson red. The crux of the story is based on two main characters:

Character #1 Ares: (pronounced Aries), our main, who loses the love of his life (Amethyst) and goes on a murderous rampage against the vile sect responsible for her murder.

MACHINE HEAD founder Robb Flynn comments:

“Thanks to my 2 teenage boys my family has become obsessed with this awesome Japanese anime series called “Attack On Titan.” The album’s concept was loosely inspired by the series in the sense that in the storyline, there is no “good" or "bad" guy, both characters believe they’re doing the right thing as it applies to their being, but make no mistake, both are committing acts of pure atrocity and evil. The opening track “SLAUGHTER THE MARTYR” is basically our character #1’s origin story.”

The colossal concept comes with a list of equally colossal packaging for various physical formats including 16 different worldwide vinyl formats, deluxe vinyl box set (with bonus tracks), CDs (both old-school longbox and jewel box options), multi-color cassettes, and a limited-edition Digipak with bonus tracks.

CDs, Digipak, cassettes, and all digital formats will be available on Aug 26th, with all vinyl formats arriving on Nov 25th.
