Avant-garde duo LORE have today unveiled their debut EP, "Prologue", after a mysterious rollout of cryptic teasers and elusive visuals that kept half of the duo cloaked in anonymity. Arriving alongside the EP, their brand new single, "Nightwere Club" pushes their heaviest and most experimental sound yet - melding a high-energy dance beat, airy soprano vocals, and bursts of unrestrained screams. Hot on the heels of their debut single, "Senpai" ft. Isaac Wilson of Dwellings, which premiered with a fully animated video Crunchyroll, and their second single, "Starseeker" ft. Properties of Nature, the debut EP successfully introduces the enigmatic world of LORE. Formed earlier this year, LORE is the creation of Jay Christian and the Frog, a mysterious entity who remains shrouded in anonymity. Born entirely online, the project emerged from a conscious decision to cast aside ego and pretense in pursuit of something real. LORE's debut EP, "Prologue", serves as a proper introduction to the band's rich world of storytelling and animated surrealism.

This track follows the success of their debut single, "Senpai" ft. Isaac Wilson of Dwellings, which premiered with a fully animated video Crunchyroll, introducing the enigmatic world of LORE, as well as their upcoming EP, "Prologue", set for release on October 3rd. The track marks the next chapter in LORE's unfolding narrative, pairing intricate instrumentation and imaginative visuals with the energy of special guest, Properties of Nature. With "Starseeker", the band builds on that foundation, crafting an otherworldly journey that highlights their commitment to pairing sound with story, emotion, and visual wonder.

Further sharing the adventures in LORE's realm and nearing the release of "Prologue,", Jay Christian and The Frog state:

"This is one of my personal favorite songs that I’ve written. Our guitar work is heavily inspired by 90s and early 2000s Latin rock music but with a modern progressive rock twist.

For the video we wanted to pay homage to our influences and past projects, which is why our main character visits various worlds including- …… I’ve said too much."

Having premiered on Crunchyroll this morning, the visual follows the Frog as he conjures magic, guiding a pair of cats on a whimsical journey through forests and skies.
