JINJER Drops New Single “Green Serpent” + Official Music Video!

JINJER reigns as one of the most exciting and promising acts in the current scene! After releasing their chart-topping studio album, 'Wallflowers,' in 2021, which was hailed as “… one of the finest – and most important – metal releases of 2021” by KERRANG! (UK) as well as “a progressive masterpiece” by New Noise Magazine (US), the four-piece entered stages at Europe’s biggest festivals, such as Wacken, Download, and Rock am Ring, just to name a few. With the announcement of their upcoming record 'Duél,' to be released on February 7, 2025, via Napalm Records, JINJER justifies their reputation and delivers an eleven-track offering loaded with technical grooves, heavy progressive passages, and brutal vocals destined to drop jaws.

Out today, JINJER’s new single, “Green Serpent”, is prime preparation for the band’s new full-length. The song begins with thick grooves and calm, clear vocals by matchless vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, before transforming into a furious steamroller shortly after. Once more, JINJER nails their balance of various influences, defying all rules and setting their own path.“Green Serpent” has premiered alongside a blistering official music video and is now available on all streaming services worldwide.

Watch the official music video for “Green Serpent” below:

While JINJER’s previous album, 'Wallflowers,' was slightly more alluring and contained noticeably more clean vocals, 'Duél' now takes on a much more aggressive tone. This is proven by songs like “Rogue”, “Green Serpent” and “Dark Bile”, with their brutal and hefty breakdowns. Fans of super-talented vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk’s clear vocals also get their moments, as tracks such as the opener “Tantrum” show the potential of the frontwoman’s outstanding vocal prowess. 'Duél' presents itself way more cruelly – and JINJER is more vicious than ever before. “Fast Draw” is a wild death metal beast with grooving drums from Vlad Ulasevich, Roman Ibramkhalilov’s one-of-a-kind riffs and Eugene Abdukhanov’s trademark bass wizardry – showing what this band does best: brilliant state-of the-art modern metal.

On 'Duél', JINJER continues their long-lasting collaboration with accomplished producer Max Morton, who co-produced, mixed, and mastered the album. This new masterwork lives up to JINJER’s reputation as metal visionaries, once more showing that the band refuses to follow any set rules in their genre, but choose their own path of creativity.

Eugene Abdukhanov, JINJER bassist on the new album:

“First of all, it‘s hard to believe that we’re about to release our fifth full length album! After all the releases we’ve made, finally having 'Duél' in our hands and ready to be shared with the world, makes us very proud that our band still hasn’t run out of creativity and inspiration. The fact that we still challenge ourselves to release the best music we have ever made with each new release, is what keeps JINJER moving forward. This upcoming album was the longest songwriting process we’ve ever had and it took almost two years to complete. We worked very hard with every free minute we weren’t on tour, recording demos over and over again and always searching for the perfect sound for guitars, bass, and drums. It was also the first time that Tatiana did vocal pre-productions, so it’s safe to say that none of our releases were so well thought out and calculated as this one. It pulverizes the boundaries of the modern progressive metal genre but still remains sophisticated, exciting, and extreme all at the same time. We took up the challenge to expand our musical horizons even wider than before in order to cement Duél to be the next step in JINJER‘s musical growth and hopefully the evolution of metal music in general.”

Limited Glow In The Dark Vinyl Collection Available for Pre-Order Now HERE

This past summer, progressive metal giants JINJER released their most in-demand and successful album yet, Wallflowers, subsequently hitting the top of the charts all around the globe. Then just last week, JINJER reached yet another milestone - joining the first leg of the 2022 Knotfest Roadshow in North America to support metal legends Slipknot with fellow special guests In This Moment. The first leg of the tour kicks off in Fargo, ND on March 16 and hits an additional 17 cities before wrapping up in Vancouver, BC on April 17. Tickets are on sale now!

Today, JINJER is thrilled to announce new headline dates surrounding their Knotfest Roadshow run. New stops have been added in markets such as St. Louis, MO, Boise, ID, Indianapolis, IN and many more. Tickets go on sale this Thursday at 10:00 AM Eastern time - see below for all dates!

JINJER's Eugene Abdukhanov says about their upcoming North American tour:

"20 years ago or so, Slipknot shocked the world, along with four Ukrainian kids who would later become JINJER! There was nobody like them before. This band proved that you don't need to go pop radio to get big. Their sound revolutionized heavy music. Joey's drumming changed the game! Thomson and Root's riffs are what we learned to play the guitar with. In many ways, Slipknot became role models to us, and we followed in their footsteps. For this reason and many more, now being able to tour with this monster of a band means so much to us! We cannot wait to get out there on Knotfest Roadshow2022. See you there."

JINJER's exceptional precision of modern metal paired with tough as nails attitude has earned them a fiercely loyal, rabid fanbase and massive critical acclaim, making JINJERone of the most talked about bands today and garnering them many sold-out performances across the globe.

Since announcing Wallflowers, the band has graced numerous renowned international magazine covers, booked the biggest stories, sold out countless tour dates and their first two new singles, "Vortex" and "Mediator", both cracked the multi-million stream mark in no time. The new album not only presents a methodical and premeditated next step in the band's already imposing career, but moreover, it mirrors the personal adversities they’ve faced due to the worldwide events of the last year. Wallflowers is not only an upgrade to the progressive groove metal sound that all JINJER fans crave, but also a sonic pressure cooker of technical musicianship, emotional fury and an intense soundtrack befitting the harrowing state of the world today. Hailing from the conflict-ridden Ukrainian region of Donetsk but now calling Kiev their home base, JINJER truly do not mince words – or riffs – on Wallflowers.

Progressive Metal Giants JINJER Release Powerful Music Video for “Disclosure!”

Order the Standout New Album, Wallflowers, HERE!

On Tour in North America NOW!

This past summer, progressive metal giants JINJER released their most in-demand and successful album yet, Wallflowers, subsequently hitting the top of the charts all around the globe. In addition to several other top spots, the band landed at #7 on the German charts, #5 on the official UK Rock & Metal album charts, #1 on both the US Billboard Top New Artist Album charts and Canada’s Hard Music album charts, and #2 on the US Hard Music album charts.

Amid their lively and groundbreaking touring schedule in support of Wallflowers – which saw the band embark on a European tour with Hypno5e and Napalm Records colleagues Space Of Variations, and their current nearly sold out North American headline tour with Suicide Silence and All Hail The YetiJINJER pushed their limits and shot a massive music video for the album track "Disclosure!”.

With a fiery opening, "Disclosure!" cuts sharp like a razor blade without making any compromises. Distorted guitars, multifarious drums and an interplay of invading screeches and deep growls unfold the full power of the chart-topping title. The video verges on a visually played mind game, which seems almost cinematically intimidating, transmitting the feeling of strength across the screen.

JINJER bassist Eugene states:

“The track 'Disclosure!' and the video itself is a very important video for JINJER. Not only is it one of our favorite tracks on the new album as well as live, our ex-guitarist Dmitriy Oksen stars in the video and was great to work with him again, even if it‘s in a different capacity now.”

Watch/listen to “Disclosure!”

Eugene on the video:

“Believe it or not it is not always easy being in the spotlight all the time … with each success this band reaches there is a huge amount of expectations from the outside that come with each step we make. From personal opinions to politics and now to the pandemic, our every move is scrutinized and judged by the outside. Although it‘s not always fun, we would not have it any other way …”

JINJER's Album “Wallflowers” Hits the Charts Worldwide!

Order the Standout Offering, HERE!

It's finally here, and transgresses borders of all imagination! Ukrainian modern metal giants JINJER have only just released one of the most anticipated metal albums of the year on August 27, entitled Wallflowers, and are already breaking the charts worldwide with the game-changing fourth offering. Wallflowers, the successor of their critically acclaimed third album Macro, entered both the US Billboard Top New Artist Albums chart and Canada’s Hard Music Albums chart at #1, in addition to landing at #2 on the US Current Hard Music Albums chart and scoring several other top positions. The album is also currently ranked at #7 on the German charts in addition to entering at #5 on the official UK Rock & Metal Album Charts. Wallflowers has also gone on to gather numerous top spots in several other international territories. See all chart entries of this modern metal manifestation below.

Eugene on the new album:

“Growing creatively has always been a major goal for us. The day JINJER stops reaching for new musical horizons will be our last day as a band. We could have churned out what our peers expected us to do, or produce ‘Pisces’ clones without end, but we’ve never done that and we never will. Instead, we wrote an album whose level of emotions range from the fiercest aggression we’ve ever had, to the most intricate melodies and melancholic vibes you could ever get from our music. We decided to rip apart all possible stylistic boundaries without regard to financial success or competing with our previous albums. Wallflowers is a different kind of album musically and visually. It’s about our identity as a band, as individuals and a clear statement that we are different from most artists… and that it is OK to do your own thing.”

JINJER are without doubt the hardest working band in the metal scene: Now, shortly before the release of their long-awaited and critically acclaimed studio record, Wallflowers – out this Friday via Napalm Records – everybody is talking about them. Since announcing the album, the band has graced numerous renowned international magazine covers, booked the biggest stories, sold out countless tour dates and their first two new singles, "Vortex" and "Mediator", both cracked the multi-million stream mark in no time.

With their new track, ”Wallflower”, JINJER prove once again that they can't be pigeonholed by offering a surprisingly tranquil delve into their multi-faceted sound. The title track not only underlines highly talented vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk's clean and equally bold vocal power, but also supports her convincing, forceful growls and adds a persuasive character of wrath, overwhelming heaviness and pure abrasiveness. The accompanying high-quality music video displays the band's cinematic and audiovisual strength and their ability for impressive metaphors and immediately causes goosebumps at the same time: Socio-critical and precise, JINJER have reached a new level – lyrically and musically.

JINJER on the new single/video:

“As the director Basil Pereverzev told us "Never give up and act in due course with the forces of the reality you have chosen for yourself" … Wallflower is one of a kind. This is a song we have lived through time and time again. Every single note, every percussion hit, every word Tatiana sings is well-thought through and shines. And the story which rolls out in the video is the best compliment to this song. Definitely the most multilayered work we have delivered sonically and visually. We hope that our fans can also relate the video and take something meaningful from it as well.”

Convince yourself and watch/listen to “Wallflower”

Already regarded as one of the most anticipated metal albums of the year, with Wallflowers,JINJER once again prove their exceptional knack for mixing groove, prog, alternative and experimental influences to create a sound unlike anything that has ever come before it.

Eugene on the new album:

The announcement of the brand new JINJER record, Wallflowers, out August 27 via Napalm Records, has not only caused immediate ripples around the world and delighted international reviewers and fans alike, but the band’s first single, “Vortex”, has already gained 2.5 million cross-platform streams/views in no time.

Continuing their unstoppable way to the top, the band has just released their head-splitting second single “Mediator” and a brand-new crushing music video. The second track cut from the new album demonstrates once again that their unique sonic vision combined with visual attitude is more than peerless. Frenetic drumming combined with technically adept, fast firing bass and guitar attacks, merging with the unmatched mix of Tatiana Shmayluk’s clear vocals, pungent rap-like passages and ferocious growling. The track’s high-quality audiovisual bombardment draws the viewer into the spell of the progressive spectacle and constructs the visual antithesis of the postmodern utopia thematized within the track.

JINJER on the tone of the new single:

“With years getting older, we often realize that the world around us is far from what we expected it to be. Through the eyes of a kid everything seemed way more colorful, better and optimistic, didn't it? When did it all turn wrong? When did it all turn so gray? Is this really the world's fault? Or it is only about us chasing the wrong goals... the wrong careers, ambitions and achievements, rather than embracing one important truth... Rephrasing John Lennon, if one chases something else other than happiness, then they didn't understand life at all …”

JINJER Closes 2020 with Intense Socio-Critical Official Video for “Home Back”

Check out the 7th single "HOME BACK", taken from the latest JINJER album "MACRO", available via Napalm Records worldwide.MACRO Music and Merch here: https://...

An artistically created, dystopian mirror on society!

As the year comes to a close, modern metal's busiest band, JINJER, are going out with one last huge bang with a surprise video release for the fan favorite track “Home Back”, the seventh single taken from their critically acclaimed studio album Macro.

The offical music video for “Home Back”, with lyrics written by the exceptionally talented Tatiana Shmayluk, is not only a testament to JINJER's creativity and drive to continuously raise the bar musically as a band, but also an audiovisual statement against war and a very personal topic for each band member. Because of where JINJER originally come from, the Donetsk region of Ukraine, they are no strangers to upheaval and the suffering caused by conflict.

JINJER bassist Eugene Abdukhanov says:

“War... War never changes and it never stops. No matter how much grief, misery, suffering and pain it brings there will always be individuals who either reap the benefits or just relish in it's power. They will drive others to march and kill in the name of... for the sake of... if we look really closer... nothing. It is really hard for me to embrace how people in the 21st century still believe that there is something to fight for on any battlefield. We all depend on a few major economies in the world and their national currencies. We all are at keystrokes length through the Internet. And yet... every day people are driven to kill their true brothers and sisters on our one and common land we call Earth. Then 2020 comes around and there is a glimmer of hope that this might be a turning point. That a common threat will unite all of us and this might be the beginning of a new era... but no. They still march and kill. Every war is a tragedy and a crime against humanity in my opinion. No matter what your beliefs or ideologies are, nothing justifies taking homes, health and lives of innocent children who inevitably suffer in every military conflict. Imagine hundreds of thousands of refugee children around the globe screaming at once: I want my home back!”

The track’s visual component not only showcases the band’s bold lyricism, but also their conceptual cognizance - between media presentation and an artistic antithesis - JINJER sets a clear exclamation mark with “Home Back”.

“Home Back” was directed by Kiev based duo Ingwar Dovgoteles and Lina Volokhova, and filmed in Kiev, Ukraine.

Ukraine's progressive groove metal frontrunners JINJER have finally released their very first official live album, Alive In Melbourne, today via Napalm Records. The album shows JINJER at what they do best: smashing crowds to bits like very few bands can. Recorded on March 5th 2020 on the Australian leg of their highly successful Macro World Tour, the show was one of the last performances for JINJER, as well as the rest if the world due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Alive In Melbourne features 17 of JINJER's heaviest hitting tracks including "I Speak Astronomy", "Noah", "Pit of Consciousness", "Words of Wisdom" and their breakthrough single "Pisces".

As an added bonus and a surprise to their fans, not only can you listen to Alive In Melbourne in its entirety on all streaming platforms but together with Napalm Records, JINJER will also premiere the complete Alive In Melbourne concert video on Youtube FOR FREE! Tune in to the Napalm Records Youtube Channel at 11:00 AM PST/2:00 PM EST TODAY and experience the energy that JINJER deliver live and up close in your own living room.

Alive In Melbourne is not only a live album but a very personal project of JINJER's enigmatic and outspoken bassist Eugene: “When this idea first came about, never could I imagine that it would grow into the project that it has become. First it was supposed to be a single video or maybe 1 or 2 more, then it was meant to be an online concert video for Knotfest.com …. and now, after 6 months of planning, reacting and fighting to get this little piece of heavy metal history out to our fans and friends: Alive In Melbourne is out! From picking the cover artist Gabriel Nicoletti, to writing the very intense and personal band history in the linear notes … this album was not only something that I felt that our fans deserved in these strange times but it also helped me get through some of my own darkest times during the first Covid-19 lockdown. This was a moment in time that none of us will forget anytime soon.”

As one of the hardest working and most innovative bands in the business, JINJER wouldn't be JINJER if they didn't play any of the many aces up their sleeves in a situation and climate as harsh as this. After the announcement of the live album, the band made the impossible a reality and, as the first non-European outfit, set foot on stage again in September, bringing back their intense live shows to their longing fans in Germany and Switzerland - under all necessary precautions.

Ukraine's busiest groove metal machine JINJER are back with their brand new single "Retrospection (Live)", taken from their upcoming live album: Alive In Melbourne, which will be released on November 20, 2020 via Napalm Records. The live album and subsequent videos were filmed on March 5th this year during their debut Australian tour with the pandemic hot on the heels of their Macro World Tour, which would sadly, along with the rest of the musical landscape come to a screeching halt a week after the Melbourne set was captured for on film. Still, with JINJER's sheer will, drive, determination and never give up attitude they were able to turn the madness of this year into a positive.

Bassist Euge Abdukhanov comments: It‘s still pretty incredible that 4 Ukrainians travelled 14,770 km just to sing in their native language ... to the welcoming ears, eyes and open arms of Melbourne. This night will forever be burned in our hearts and the beat of "Retrospection" fit that night like never before. Shows like this should happen each time we perform and we cannot wait to get back on tour to make sure that happens every night. Until then just enjoy this moment in time called Alive In Melbourne"

Despite the Global Pandemic, JINJER have managed to stay busier than before and besides releasing their debut live album, they toured Germany and Switzerland in September becoming the first non-European band to tour across borders during the age of Covid-19 and they are also currently filming videos for all remaining tracks on their previously released album Macro.

Things are looking great for JINJER right now.

Sticking their heads in the sand during a pandemic has never been an option for Ukrainian groove metal juggernaut JINJER. Instead of drowning in self-pity and using the current global situation as an excuse to be lazy, the band has not only unleashed the ferocious new video to their 6th single, "The Prophecy", today, but have also announced that they will be making videos for the remaining three songs off of their critically acclaimed breakthrough album, Macro.

Eugene, JINJER bassist, comments: "When we wrote "The Prophecy" in 2019, little did we know that it would prophesize things to come in 2020 ... the entire screwed up, scary and confusing year all wrapped up in our brand new single. That being said - we are not only very excited for this new video, but to also announce that we will release videos for all tracks from our Macro album. It‘s the very least we can do in these strange times!"

JINJER are currently gearing up for the release of their very first official live album: Alive In Melbourne, to be released on November 20, 2020 via Napalm Records. Alive In Melbourne was recorded during the sold out debut Macro Australia Tour in March 2020, just days before Covid-19 stopped JINJER's world tour in its tracks and changed all of our lives collectively forever.

Today, Ukrainian modern metal leaders JINJER have released the live video for their stand out track "Sit Stay Roll Over" from their ferocious sold out Melbourne, Australia performance on March 5, 2020.

The track comes off the band's upcoming live album, Alive In Melbourne which will be released on November 20, 2020 via Napalm Records.

Commented the band: "For some, "Sit Stay Roll Over" was the so-called ignition point where lots of fans first took notice of JINJER - and it‘s still a burner today even though it sometimes gets lost between all our other tracks! It’s also one of the most technically complicated and extreme songs we’ve ever written, taking the band to the outer realms of death metal ... Even after all these years of performing it countless times it still takes quite a lot of effort and concentration to play flawlessly live. We‘re pretty excited to have it put back to the forefront again on our upcoming live album!"

Today, Ukrainian modern metal leaders JINJER have announced the official release of the audio recordings from one of the last metal shows played on the planet before the global Covid-19 lockdown: their ferocious sold out Melbourne, Australia performance on March 5, 2020.

Their newly announced upcoming live album, Alive In Melbourne features stunning artwork by gifted JINJER fan Gabriel Nicoletti, includes 17 tracks in total (see tracklist below) and will be released on November 20, 2020 via Napalm Records.

Commented the band: "Some shows just deserve to be carved in stone and memorialized forever. This was the case regarding our first ever Australian tour in March 2020, where we hit a few milestones all at once: we finally played on every continent there is to play on, our first time in down under was a complete sellout and more importantly we experienced the love, passion and craziness we've always heard so much about the Australian crowd. Hell, there were even fans from New Zealand that showed up to the party. Now, after nearly half year of lockdown I can barely watch this footage without shedding a few tears. If any of you knew how much time, patience, nerves and effort we put into making this live album possible- you would probably be surprised we managed to pull it off at all. Adversity kept coming and coming, and coming at us again and again but here we are : Alive in Melbourne 2020 is real and it's coming out in all it's visual and sonic glory! Let's watch it, listen to it and let's remember how a real metal gig should look and sound: the sweat, the volume, the performance and the crowd … we need this feeling back! I am proud that we managed to capture this place in time and share it with you as our first official live album!"

Coinciding with the announcement, the band has also released a live video for their pummeling tech groove track "Teacher, Teacher!", the opening song of the afore-mentioned show.

Ukrainian modern metal frontrunners JINJER return with an indignant rage - chock full of confidence and wrath. Today, JINJER occupies your sanity with a new music video for the hard-hitting epos “Noah“, off of their latest chart-breaking juggernaut Macro

In a vortex of clean vocals, vibrant growls and blazing drums JINJER bends the progressive metal horizon. Accompanying an artful audiovisual featuring stormy, tumultuous and disturbing yet comforting imagery, JINJER draws the viewer into a parallel universe.

Today, the band releases the video through the official channels. Watch the video HERE!

Commented the band's bassist Eugene Abdukhanov: "Tatiana wrote "Noah" from the point of view of what if he did not succeed in perpetuating Life on Earth? Looks like we might find out sooner than we think! Times are scarier, tougher and stranger than ever. Our/your livelihood and everything we know and cherish are on the verge being swept away by a storm like nothing we’ve faced before. Will we have our own modern day Ark? Will we manage to jump on board in time or has it already set sail? What will be left over after it‘s all said and done? These questions are torturing all of us right now and the future is disturbingly uncertain. But we will survive and will get through this, like we did during so many dark times before. Together. Strong and revitalized with a much better understanding of what we are."

Devastating riffs, aggressive vocals, powerful melodies and astonishingly deep lyrics are what make their new album, MacroJINJER’s most advanced and undeniable album yet – taking the listener on a journey of trauma, power struggle and greed with a progressive groove metal backdrop.
