OCEANS - Release New Single 'Slaves To The Feed'!

OCEANS are back with their first new music of 2024! The German nu-metal band proudly presents their latest single 'Slaves To The Feed', which provides another strong message towards the importance of mental health and raising awareness on this topic. The new song sees OCEANS collaborate with Australian keyboardist MISSTIQ as well as Josh Collard from EARTH CALLER.

To coincide with the release of 'Slaves To The Feed', OCEANS are unleashing a second new single! 'Breed Consume Die' sees the Germans once again prove their musical versatility as they let their heavier side come to the fore. Josh Collard from EARTH CALLER is also featured on this song, which serves as a social wake-up call.

As if the release of two new singles wasn't enough, OCEANS have also delivered a brand new music video for their single 'Slaves To The Feed', which you can watch below.

"Social media makes us sick. It makes me sick, I'm fucking addicted to my smartphone. Even though it has made my life miserable to a certain extent, I still keep scrolling. And why is that? OCEANS - Hell Is Where The Heart Is Out Now!

Today OCEANS have released their second full-length album Hell Is Where The Heart Is. More than two years after the release of their first album, the German nu-metallers latest album Hell Is Where The Heart Is consists of three EPs released throughout 2022:
Hell Is Where The Heart Is - Part I: Love, Part II: Longing, and finally the last part Hell Is Where The Heart Is - Part III: Clarity which is released today.

The album is another successful entry into the band's discography, its dark atmosphere providing the perfect canvas for frontman Timo Rotten to exhibit his poignant lyrics that touch heavily on the topic of mental health.

To mark the occasion, the band is releasing a brand new music video made up by the twisted but genius mind of famous visual artist Costin Chioreanu for their title track 'Hell Is Where The Heart Is'.

I’ve listened to it from start to finish the past week for the first time in almost a year and it left me sitting there with tears in my eyes, goosebumps all over my body. In addition, OCEANS will release Hell Is Where The Heart Is as a physical album on November 25th, comprising of the songs from the Hell Is Where The Heart Is EP series.

To coincide with the announcement, OCEANS have released a video for their brand new single called "If There Is A God She Has Abandoned Us".

"No matter how positively you try to go through life, there are times when you just feel abandoned and left alone. It seems like everything is going down the drain, so how can one not lose hope in these times right now? After releasing their latest EP named Hell Is Where The Heart Is - Part I: Love in January of this year, rising German/Austrian nu-metal stars OCEANS have already announced the highly anticipated second part of this masterpiece - the digital EP entitled Hell Is Where The Heart Is - Part II: Longing, that will be released via Nuclear Blast on July 29th.

Today, they are already unleashing the second single off this EP, a dark and emotional hymn titled "I Want To Be Whole Again".
