Rising Artist RYLAI Debuts with Emotionally Charged Single “Without You”

June 6th, 2025 marks the official debut of genre bending Alt-Pop artist, RYLAI, with the release of “Without You.” Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, RYLAI introduces himself to the world with a soul-baring track rooted in self-reflection, transformation, and the healing power of music. At its core, the track expresses both regret and gratitude, reflecting on a time when RYLAI admits he "should have loved [himself] more and taken better care" of his emotional well-being.

Driven by emotion and introspection, RYLAI creates songs with layers to unpack — where nothing is accidental and every sound has a purpose. In a world where so much feels uncertain and fragile, RYLAI’s journey begins with that same sense of instability. From a young age, he turned to music as a sanctuary — a place to disappear, escape, and find comfort when the outside world felt chaotic. “When everything was falling apart around me, music was the only thing that made sense,” he says. “It still is.”

That spirit lives at the heart of “Without You,” a track that captures both gratitude and regret. “I wrote the lyrics with intentional ambiguity, I wanted the lyrics to stand alone and also fit into the larger narrative of my upcoming releases,” RYLAI explains. “They could be for my younger self, a past lover, potential fans — or music itself.”

The production of “Without You” spans continents — with most of the song recorded in Seoul, and key sessions taking place in Los Angeles with co-producer Dylan Buzz Gold. RYLAI’s instrumental contributions include viola, violin, and synthesizer, underscoring his hands-on approach to every part of the song's creation. The track was written entirely by RYLAI and produced in collaboration with Dylan Buzz Gold, Scandi, and Colby Lapolla. Collaborators on the track also include Scandi (who provided the original beat) and Colby Lapolla, who contributed vocal production and textured effects.

RYLAI’s music is more than sound — it’s storytelling. Each release this year will connect to a larger narrative, revealing more with every track. “There’s always something to unpack,” he says. “Art is where we go when the world doesn’t make sense. And right now, we all need a place to escape.”

RYLAI
is a rising singer-songwriter and producer born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. His passion for music began in the quiet aftermath of a pivotal moment at the end of sixth grade, when he started exploring melodies on an old digital piano that had sat untouched for years. Though he had taken piano lessons as a child, it wasn’t until then that he truly connected with music — creating original ideas that gradually turned into songs.

Influenced by a wide range of artists, RYLAI draws vocal inspiration from Naul of Brown Eyed Soul, whose emotional head voice and rich chord progressions left a lasting impression. He also cites Ado for her unparalleled vocal intensity and expressiveness, and Seo Tai Ji, a Korean pop-rock icon known for his genre-bending approach to music. Kendrick Lamar remains one of RYLAI’s biggest influences — both for his lyrical depth and for the way each of his albums tells a cohesive, meaningful story. Inspired by that model, RYLAI’s own music follows an overarching narrative, with each release revealing a new chapter.

Alt-Pop Artist Dela Kay Drops “Between The Lines”

Alt-pop singer-songwriter, Dela Kay, has officially released her latest single, “Between The Lines,” today—a soul-searching, guitar-laced track that marks a bold new chapter in her sonic evolution. “It talks about how unusual and confusing peace can feel,” says Dela Kay. “Reading ‘between the lines’ to self-soothe can sometimes turn into self-destruction. But in my case, my

overthinking ended up being a strong intuition. The line between the two isn’t always easy to see.”

Originally written in July 2024 at collaborator Nick Cozine’s East Nashville home, “Between The Lines” explores the psychological push and pull of vulnerability, intuition, and self-sabotage in relationships. “It’s definitely a vibe I haven’t done before,” Dela Kay shares. “It’s moodier, built around vibey guitar lines, and it might actually be the first song I’ve released with a guitar solo—which is dope!”

Co-written by Dela Kay, Rikki Jo Randall, and Nick Cozine, produced by Stefano Pigliapoco and Nick Cozine, and mixed and mastered by Pigliapoco; “Between The Lines” dives into the tension between emotional safety and perceived threat—highlighting the anxiety that can creep in even during moments of calm.

Dela Kay also partnered with Working Holiday, a Nashville-based creative team known for their recent work with Medium Build, to design the single’s visuals and artwork. “They’re incredibly talented creatives, and I’m so happy I got to work with them on this song.”

With “Between The Lines,” Dela Kay invites fans into a new emotional and sonic space, blending atmospheric textures with raw honesty. “A note to my fans: always listen to your gut,” she adds. “When things go quiet and anxiety settles—what does your heart tell you? That’s the truth.”

M THE MYTH UNVEILS NYMPHONIC – A BOLD, TRANSCENDENT EP EXPLORING SEXUAL LIBERATION, SELF-DISCOVERY, AND PRIMAL ENERGY

Electro-pop innovator, M the Myth, has officially released their groundbreaking EP, Nymphonic. This collection of six tracks is more than music—it is a statement, a reclamation, and an exploration of desire, expression, and transformation. Nymphonic is the message. It is sexual liberation, physical release, and the unshackling of the body—of being in your skin and reveling in that freedom. The title itself merges two concepts: nympho, a word often used to shame female sexual desire, and phonic, meaning “of sound.” Nymphonic reclaims the

narrative, embodying a primal, boundless energy that pulses through us when we stop resisting who we are.

Each composition within Nymphonic is tied to the ancient forces—earth, air, water, fire, and metal—forces that sustain life, allowing us to create and destroy. The record is a personal narrative of struggle, self-destruction, healing, and ultimate rebirth. Through music, M the Myth has found balance, self-fulfillment, and fearless self-love. The EP features six tracks: “Chew the Wire,” “Forever Falling,” “Pin-up Boy,” “Whiplash,” “Love Nymphonic,” and “Crumble.” Three previously released singles are joined by the three new tracks: “Forever Falling,” “Love Nymphonic,” and “Crumble.”

A bass-heavy, electro-pop experience that oscillates between tension and release, “Forever Falling” feels like freefalling through space. The track samples Sumitra Nanjundun’s 1995 track “Destiny,” layering past and present into a dialogue between fear and freedom. "What if the fall wasn’t something to resist? What if the fall was the flight?" says M the Myth. "This song is about surrender, about letting go of control and embracing the unknown." Produced alongside Niño Neon, “Forever Falling” embodies the expansive sonic landscapes that define Nymphonic—gritty, immersive, and emotionally raw.

Built on a driving house groove and euphoric synth textures, “Love Nymphonic” is the heartbeat of the EP. The track’s infectious energy mirrors the thrill and chaos of unfiltered desire. "This song is about claiming your desires without hesitation or fear—this primal expression of sexual liberation and uninhibited selfhood," M the Myth explains. "It is the essence of this album: electric, ecstatic, and fully alive."

The slow-burning, cinematic closer to the EP, “Crumble” blends retro-futuristic R&B with indie electro-pop. Minimalist verses give way to explosive, synth-driven choruses, symbolizing the collapse of false identities and the rebirth of something real. "It’s about falling apart so you can build something true," says M the Myth. "This track exists in that space between struggle and revelation. In the end, maybe we were never falling—we were being reborn."

The release of Nymphonic aligns with a powerful celestial event: a total lunar eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon. Historically a symbol of reckoning and transformation, the Blood Moon perfectly mirrors the themes of the album—breaking chains, embracing truth, and setting fire to the past to make way for rebirth. "This album isn’t about quiet revelations. It’s about setting fire to what cages us," says M the Myth. "To release Nymphonic under a Blood Moon is to send it into the world as a spell, a charge for freedom."

Dela Kay Reflects on Love and Loss in New Single “Anybody Else”

Alt-Pop artist, Dela Kay, unveils her latest single, "Anybody Else," a heart-wrenching ballad that captures the bittersweet nostalgia of lost love. Written October of last year in Nick Cozine’s East Nashville studio, the song was born out of deep reflection and raw emotion, making it one of Dela Kay’s most vulnerable releases to date.

The track was co-written by Dela Kay, Nick Cozine, and Whitney Fenimore—the same trio behind her previous single, "Remedy." "As soon as the three of us got together, we knew we were going to write a ballad," shares Dela Kay. "I was still processing a

painful breakup just a few months before, and with the Halloween spookiness looming in the air that day, nostalgia was all around us. We started to walk down memory lane with my past relationship, coming up with lyrics detailing my first date, then letting the current reality hit when writing the chorus."

Nick Cozine first introduced the "any anybody else" hook, which instantly resonated with the team. "Whitney and I loved it and knew we wanted to keep it," Dela Kay recalls. "With both Nick and Whitney rooted in the folk/indie scene, the melodies we developed felt so organic and real to all of us. Sometimes when you're speaking directly from the heart, things flow super easily, and they definitely did that day."

In an unconventional move, the final vocal in "Anybody Else" is actually Dela Kay’s original scratch vocal from the writing session. "We loved it so much, we kept all of it—it’s the same vocal you hear in the final track!" she reveals.

Sonically, "Anybody Else" evokes the drama and intensity of early 2000s romance films. "It’s kind of giving ‘A Cinderella Story’ when Chad Michael Murray runs up on the bleachers in the rain to kiss Hilary Duff after the football game," Dela Kay explains. "We wanted the verses to feel bare, with acoustics leading the track alongside strings, but then have the choruses come in strong with booming drums and electric guitar swells—absolutely wrecking our hearts."

At its core, "Anybody Else" explores the complexity of love and heartbreak, offering both understanding and vulnerability. "The second verse acknowledges their past and offers reassurance that I’m strong enough to handle their pain," Dela Kay says. "And as painful as it was in the moment writing this song, I have peace looking back. Even though the relationship didn’t work out, knowing my heart has the capacity to love that deeply—despite the pain—is something to be hopeful for in my future."

Daniel Arison Drops Soul-Stirring Single "Selfish," the Heartbeat of His Upcoming Album

Singer, songwriter, and producer, Daniel Arison, has released his highly anticipated single, "Selfish," today. This deeply personal track marks a pivotal moment in his creative journey, as it was the first song

written for his upcoming album and became the thematic foundation for the entire project.

Daniel recalled the pivotal moment that inspired the song during a recent studio session with his producer, Larzz. "I walked into the session and knew exactly what I wanted to write," Daniel explained. "I told Larzz the story behind the title: one day, I had a huge blowout with one of my friends. He came to me and yelled at me for an hour and a half, accusing me of being self-involved—never calling, never asking how he was, never making the effort. In the moment, I felt really defensive and denied everything he said. But a few days later, I sat with myself and thought, ‘Maybe you’re right. Maybe I am selfish.’”

This moment of self-awareness became a turning point not only in Daniel's personal life but also in his creative process. He channeled the complex emotions of defensiveness, sadness, and eventual acceptance into the song. "It was a weird moment of realization and acceptance of who I was in that moment—a human being capable of making mistakes," Daniel shared. "The friendship wasn’t the same after that, but writing 'Selfish' felt like a huge relief. It was like saying out loud what I had been afraid to admit, and that honesty became the core of the album’s direction."

"Selfish" invites listeners to reflect on their own imperfections while finding solace in the humanity of those flaws. With its intimate lyrics and evocative production, the song sets the stage for a body of work that delves into vulnerability, transformation, and emotional complexity. Now available on all major streaming platforms, "Selfish" gives fans an intimate glimpse into the soul of Daniel Arison as he gears up for his album release.

explores the complexities of a relationship laced with deep love but overshadowed by toxicity. Reflecting on the theme, HEYOON shares, “Pivot is about putting that red light on someone when you know the relationship has become toxic. It’s the push and pull of knowing your worth and the fear of leaving something you’ve invested in. It’s that journey of turning away from toxicity and stepping back into self-love.”

Adding to the song’s impact is Armani White, whose hit single “Billie Eilish” soared to #58 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ignited collaborations with Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, and N.O.R.E. Rising artist, Cat Evers, has officially released her first-ever music video for the single "Aphrodite," today. The visually captivating video, directed by Breanna Lynn, celebrates femininity, self-discovery, and empowerment through stunning visuals and heartfelt storytelling.

"In developing the concept for the 'Aphrodite' video, I always envisioned a room full of women doing what makes them feel most beautiful—whether it’s singing, dancing, or simply embodying their femininity," Cat Evers shares. "When I came across director Breanna Lynn through a mutual friend, I knew she was the perfect collaborator for this project."

Set in a charming Victorian house in Harlem, the video captures the essence of girlhood and the journey toward self-discovery, without focusing on overt sexualization. The Victorian home used in the video features pastel-colored rooms and a massive clawfoot bathtub, a detail that added an ethereal touch to the atmosphere. More than just a beautiful backdrop, the house serves as the center for the KOTA Alliance, a nonprofit organization that supports minority women and girls in West Harlem. "It was really cool to support such an incredible cause while working on this project," Cat adds.

The track, which explores themes of self-discovery and confidence, was written and produced during a writer’s camp Cat Evers attended in April 2023 in upstate New York. Originally conceived as a vocal loop using her BOSS RC202 pedal, the single emphasizes the powerful layering of vocal harmonies—a signature element of Cat’s songwriting process. Drawing inspiration from the sonic landscapes of Frou Frou’s “A New Kind of Love” and Britney Spears’ iconic “Toxic,” the production is both ethereal and dynamic, complementing the message of embracing one’s full identity.

"Aphrodite" celebrates the power of female friendship and empowerment, a theme that came naturally on set with a cast and crew composed largely of women. "I felt so supported throughout the process, and it was easy to connect with everyone," says Cat. The video feels like an ode to the strength that can be found in female connections, underscoring the importance of community and solidarity among women.

M the Myth, who identifies as trans non-binary, hopes that "Pin-up Boy" will resonate with a broad audience, challenging traditional gender norms and encouraging listeners to embrace the energy of receiving rather than aggression. Dela Kay Releases Gritty New Single: "The One"

Alt-Pop artist, Dela Kay, has just released her highly anticipated new single, “The One,” today. This single follows the success of her debut EP, Falling Into Place, which dropped in July and introduced fans to her unique blend of heartfelt storytelling and alt-pop soundscapes. "The One" delves deep into the emotional turmoil of trying to make a relationship work, only to face heartbreak and betrayal.

Reflecting on the song’s personal themes, Dela Kay explains, "Sometimes the people we love most aren’t ready for the kind of relationship we’re looking for. We’re forced to

walk away, even if it ‘hurts too much’ or even if we thought they were ‘the one.’" The song, co-written with her friend and producer Stefano Pigliapoco, captures the anguish of holding onto what could have been, while recognizing the need to let go.

Sonically, "The One" channels high energy and angst, but it's also filled with love and longing. With gritty guitar lines, driving drums, and a rock-infused bassline, the track brings the perfect balance of emotional weight and musical grit. Dela Kay’s favorite part? A stripped-down acoustic chorus that harkens back to her Nashville roots, offering an emotional break in the lyrics before the song crescendos in full force.

"The process of making this song was so therapeutic," Dela Kay shares. “I’ve come to be in a much better place now, and it’s empowering to look back on my journey.” She hopes this song will resonate with fans who have felt similar heartbreak, adding, "Sometimes the best way to heal is by healing out loud." With "The One" marking Dela Kay’s first release since her debut EP, fans can expect to see even more sides of the rising artist as she continues to work on new music. "I’m really excited about the new songs I’m writing," she says. "This release is just the beginning, and I’m ready to share even more of myself with my fans through this next project."

The concept for the song emerged from a true and universal experience of drifting away from childhood friends. The people who are still part of my life in some way but no longer as close as they used to be.”

Nikitaa Unveils Heartfelt Piano Ballad "Snail Mail" Inspired by Personal Story Chronicles the Confusion of Young Love and Identity

October 18th - Singer-songwriter, Nikitaa, has released their deeply emotional new single, "Snail Mail," today. The piano-based ballad explores the complexities of first loves, the confusion of navigating sexuality at a young age, and the personal journey of understanding one's identity. With delicate harmonies that build

toward a powerful crescendo, "Snail Mail" merges tender storytelling with a stirring sonic progression to create a beautiful and emotional musical experience.

"Snail Mail" draws inspiration from Nikitaa’s own pre-teen experience when a girl in 7th grade developed a silent crush on her, remaining quiet due to the social stigma surrounding homosexuality at the time. Through this song, Nikitaa reflects on the confusion of those early feelings and her evolving understanding of her demisexuality, a topic still underrepresented in mainstream music. By expressing these personal challenges, Nikitaa opens a door for listeners who may have faced similar experiences.

Co-written with her friend Lily Lyons, the title "Snail Mail" was inspired by Lily's childhood memory of receiving type-written love letters from a boy. Both Nikitaa and Lily tapped into these formative experiences, drawing parallels between their early crushes and how societal taboos around sexuality shaped those interactions. Their collaboration captures the vulnerability and innocence of young love, creating a relatable and poignant narrative.

"Snail Mail" follows the release of Nikitaa’s EP, Ascension, which debuted in July. Ascension reflects Nikitaa’s personal journey over the past few years, exploring themes of loneliness, loss, and ultimately self-reclamation. The EP is a raw and authentic narrative, celebrating the resilience of the human spirit and the rediscovery of one's own identity and sexuality. Much like Ascension, "Snail Mail" continues the conversation of finding light after darkness and embracing the complexity of life’s emotional and personal challenges.

Sunburnkids Unveils Debut Album, Elephant in the Room

Sunburnkids, a 2005-born creative director and artist, releases their debut full-length album, Elephant in the Room, today. Alongside the album release you can watch the deeply personal music video for “Red Cheek Boys,” and anticipate the music video release for “Time,” set to drop in a few weeks. Collaborating closely with children for this project and known for making waves in the fashion world at a young age, Sunburnkids chose lyrics and music as their medium for expression, opting for clarity over abstraction in delivering the album’s message. (Clothing Brand: @chapterofchan)

The album’s title draws inspiration from the American idiom "the elephant in the room," symbolizing important issues that everyone acknowledges but often avoids discussing due to discomfort or fear. Sunburnkids shares, “This phrase deeply resonates with my life. I’ve carried the weight of childhood habits and unresolved traumas that, while invisible, have always felt like a colossal elephant in my heart. Every time I write, whether it’s a reflection of my life’s introduction, body, or conclusion, I’ve found myself unable to bring it to a close—unable to place that final period. In other words, I have yet to write the ending to my story.”

A pivotal moment during the album’s creation came when a young boy expressed to Sunburnkids’ that he listens to their music from morning till night, constantly reflecting on it. This encounter left Sunburnkids’ feeling both shocked and burdened by the weight of responsibility their music carries. From that moment on, despite receiving numerous opportunities, Sunburnkids spent a long time in quiet reflection—reading books, writing lyrics, and contemplating within the church whether they had the right to express themselves, and more importantly, what they should be expressing.

This album is not only their debut but also a deeply personal, self-taught project. Having learned everything on their own—from fashion to videography to music—Sunburnkids poured their unique tastes and modes of expression into this work. Each track tells a story that reflects real life, with involvement from children at church and even actors who helped bring the narratives to life. The music video for the title track, “Red Cheek Boys,” features Sunburnkids’ younger brother, authentically capturing his own past.

What makes this project even more special is that Sunburnkids didn’t create it alone—they crafted it together with children. They explained the lyrics and themes to the kids, organized art classes, and used the children’s drawings as the album covers. On September 30th, an album listening party and exhibition was held at “Layer Studio 7” in Yongsan, where the children's artwork will be displayed. Their voices are also interwoven into the album, giving listeners a deeper sense of how Sunburnkids’ views and values the children involved. “Sunburnkids tells them that they are both the authors and the protagonists of this album.”

The album consists of 11 tracks, with Sunburnkids writing, composing, directing, producing, and overseeing the music videos entirely. When asked, "Why do you take on everything yourself?" Sunburnkids responded, "Because no one can truly understand my life as deeply as I do."

MORE INFO:
Based in Seoul Korea, Sunburnkids is an active singer-songwriter and visual director. They’ve worked on music video styling and visual direction for various artists, including the well-known artist Zior Park. Despite his young age, Sunburnkids made a significant impact in the fashion industry, serving as the creative director for their own clothing brand, Chan. With a deep understanding of color, they not only design their own clothes but also demonstrate exceptional skill in manipulating color to match their concepts. The free-spirited and imaginative visualizations in both their music and video art stimulate the viewer’s imagination.

Sunburnkids began self-teaching music, videography, and photo visuals as early as elementary school, and by 2023, they released their single, "1MIN," which showcased their unique artistic sensibility. This was followed by their EP CRY BOYS MIXTAPE, marking their debut as a musician. In October 2024, they officially released their first full-length album, Elephant in the Room. Despite only debuting last year, they’ve gained recognition from various magazines such as Marie Claire Korea, Dazed Korea, Esquire Korea, Hypebeast Korea, and many more.
