HELLRIPPER Unleashes Music Video for New Single, “Kinchyle (Goatkraft And Granite),

Recently signed to Century Media Records worldwide, Scotland's ibex-obsessed blackened thrash bastard of Hades, otherwise known as HELLRIPPER, returns with a brand-new single! “Kinchyle (Goatkraft And Granite)!" The vicious new track can be found along with a music video, which was directed by David Gregory, below.

HELLRIPPER mastermind James McBain, comments:

"'Kinchyle' is the McBain clan’s war cry and a fitting first glimpse at the upcoming album.

"Lyrically, the track was inspired by my experience growing up in the North-East of Scotland in Aberdeen (the Granite City), and reflects on what it’s like to feel trapped in a certain environment. I wanted to show a side of Scotland that is not necessarily the magical 'postcard' that a lot of people picture when thinking of the country.

"Musically, the track is very 'Hellripper-sounding,' and is the most 'rocking' song that I’ve written in quite a while, though there are a few new elements in there that I had fun experimenting with. The track was influenced by the likes of Tank, Running Wild and Motörhead, as well as bands such as Opeth and Witherscape.

"All in all, a very personal song both in terms of lyrics and musical influences. Hope you enjoy it... All Hail the Goat!"

Enter the GOAT KVLT and check out a glimpse of what's to come HERE.

The brainchild of guitarist/vocalist/solitary force, James McBain, Hellripper has been running like a denim-vested, backpatch-encrusted William Wallace, bravehearting his way through metal's bloodiest battlefields since first coagulating his personal darkness in 2014. Taking armaments from “Kill 'Em All” era Hetfield and “Welcome to Hell” era Mantas, McBain has immersed his fascination with darkness and speed with Scottish history and come with bloody masterpieces like 2023's “Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags” that Metal Injection stated: "Bursts with growth and a mature exploration of darkness and eeriness while maintaining that original high-octane burning”. McBain is presently sharpening his blades and casting new spells that will transmogrify into Hellripper's Century Media debut, due around the vernal equinox of 2026. More details to follow soon…

See Hellish Sanguisugabogg Billboard + "Hideous Aftermath" Out Now

Boundary-pushing brutalists (and recent Decibel cover stars) Sanguisugabogg — Cody Davidson, drums; Drew Arnold, bass/guitars; Devin Swank, vocals; and Ced Davis, bass/guitars —have unleashed their new album Hideous Aftermath via Century Media. Get it here

In the band's home base of Columbus, OH, a "hellish" billboard promoting the album has been unveiled, and it's located right across the street from the capitol building. It parodies the infamous "Hell is Real" billboards that were erected across the state in 2004 as a measure to promote Christianity to motorists.

"To have our logo plastered on a billboard just across our state capitpl building should be considered vandalism in some way," the band theorizes. "This is so cool. Thank you to Century Media for giving OUR city the sickest merch it could ever receive."

Known for being THAT band with the unpronounceable name and unreadable logos, the 'Bogg have made a record as gore-obsessed and violence-inclined as any of their prior works, including Tortured Whole (2021) and Homicidal Ecstasy(2023), but with a career-defining command over their ugly art. Says Swank, "It's the one where we rolled our sleeves up and brought our A-Game."

Hideous Aftermath is the work of a band who has already cut a bloody swath into the underground and beyond. Sanguisugabogg have emerged from the sweat and grime of countless U.S. and international tours with the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Lorna Shore, and Kublai Kahn as well as festival slots and their own headline runs. They've ensnared scores of new converts to their brand of the brutally absurd.

Now in 2025, the 'Bogg's third full length leaves any "caveman death metal" tags in the dust. This is the sound of Sanguisugabogg flexing every muscle they have.

Enlisting producer Kurt Ballou (Nails, High on Fire) the 'Bogg decamped to God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts in the Spring of 2025. "We got off the road after A LOT of touring and wanted to drill down and be as purely creative as possible without distraction," says Swank of the band's decision to work with the Converge guitarist in Witch City. "Kurt mixed Homicidal Ecstasy, so he already understood what we were going for."

While Sanguisugabogg have long been self-produced with Davidson handling production duties, this time, they put their sonic trust fully in Ballou's hands.

With Hideous Aftermath, Sanguisugabogg have proven themselves more than just an eccentric death crew on an acid-addled hateroll. They're both champions of the underground and a musical force unto themselves. "Eight or nine years ago, it seemed like what we were doing was pretty niche," Swank admits. "Where we've come, some of the rooms and festivals we've played is kind of remarkable." Big swings including recent appearances on more "mainstream" rock festivals including Columbus' Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville in Daytona, Florida, were never on the 'Bogg boys' charter underground agenda.

"I think we were a band that was set up to do nothing or a lot of something," Swank concludes. "Why 'normies' ever ended up liking it was weird. Who knows? Maybe we made pain and suffering fun."

Sanguisugabogg will be touring this November on a headline run, with Despised Icon, Defeated Sanity, and Corpsepile as support. All dates are below.

Orbit Culture Share "Bloodhound" Video — WATCH // "Death Above Life" Album Out Now

Sweden’s ORBIT CULTURE have released the video for "Bloodhound" ahead of the release of the acclaimed new album Death Above Life.

Watch the nightmarish, horror movie-influenced video, shot by their longtime partners Riivata Visuals, below.

The band comments "'Bloodhound' is probably the angriest song we've written to date. We've always been somewhat reluctant to use explicit language in our music — maybe out of habit, maybe out of respect, we honestly dont know. But when that opening riff came to life, it just had this raw, primal energy that demanded something more. The song sounded furious from the start, and to match that intensity, we knew it was time to break our own rules and let the anger speak freely.

"The lyrics came together faster than almost anything we've done before. It was like this outburst — a child-like hammering of aggression onto the page. Usually, we try to keep ourselves in check, to polish things a bit. But this track is the 1% of the time where we didn't. Where we couldn't.

"'Bloodhound' is about anger — at people, at situations, at an industry that often exploits the very people trying to make it within it. It's about the cycle of revenge, the moments of acceptance, and then the anger flaring up again because nothing really changes. This song is about reclaiming your voice, your power, your worth. It’s about calling out the bloodsuckers, the manipulators — and making sure they don't get to take from you anymore."

Hailing from the small town of Eksjö, Sweden (located between the revered metal cities of Gothenburg and Stockholm), the quartet (guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt) have grown into a global force, melding together riffs that are equal parts thrash, death metal and industrial with arresting hooks and a layered atmosphere that invites comparison to Gojira, Metallica and Static-X while carving out something that is uniquely their own.

ORBIT CULTURE’s 2023 album, Descent and its subsequent EP release, The Forgotten topped many year-end lists in 2023 including Metal Hammer who described the album as: "a formidable entwining of modern metal’s most effective and exciting strands into an impressive milestone." Exhaustive worldwide touring and a steady stream of crowd-pummeling festival slots across the globe have set the stage for something much larger.

Orbit Culture is a band poised. They are the sound of metal in the most modern sense.

As Everything Unfolds Release "POINT OF VIEW" + Video

As Everything Unfolds, who recently announced their signing to Century Media, have today released a brand new single, "POINT OF VIEW," hot on the heels of "SET IN FLOW," which released earlier this summer.

Speaking of "POINT OF VIEW," vocalist Charlie Rolfe says, "You give everything you have, your whole being, your whole life, to help someone but it's never enough if they don't want to help themselves. I really struggled to understand how someone close to me couldn't see my point of view in the awful situation we were in. They were angry when I helped, they were angry when I gave them space, they were angry when I stayed, they were angry when I left."

She continues, "It destroyed my confidence and my self-worth having to live in an environment where nothing I ever did was good enough. It hurts deeply to watch what can only be described as a car crash in slow motion, being unable to stop it but just having the strength to walk away and value your own mental health, your own sanity helped me gain back a small amount of those parts of me I lost. I really hope that some day, that person can listen to this song, and truly understand what it was like to be in that situation from my point of view."

Watch the "POINT OF VIEW" music video below.

Ignoring traditional genre boundaries with their distinctive sound, As Everything Unfolds have aspired to create a unique listening experience, combining a multitude of genres within the alternative realm and beyond. With over 30 million streams of their catalogue to date, their craft does not go unnoticed.

As Everything Unfolds have been nominated for three Heavy Music Awards, including Best Album in 2024, and have appeared at iconic European festivals including Download Festival, Graspop, Rock For People, Resurrection and Wacken. They have also toured extensively alongside bands including Electric Callboy, Enter Shikari, Skindred, Bury Tomorrow, Holding Absence and many more.

Off the back of signing to Century Media, the remainder of 2025 and 2026 promise to be huge years for the band, showcasing their new era across numerous tours and festivals.

Future Palace Sign With Century Media + Share Video for New Song "Cyclone"

Germany's FUTURE PALACE are making major moves to catapult their already promising career to the next level. The German band is  thrilled to announce that it has signed with Century Media worldwide.

To celebrate the partnership, they have shared the video for the new single "Cyclone."

Watch it below

This is the first taste of new music since last year's DISTORTION, which arrived in September 2024.

"Cyclone" is about the war that often wages within oneself, with the band saying, "It's about how an old version of yourself kept fighting you, especially referring to depression and how draining it can be to avoid turning back into that old version and trying to represent some sort of rebirth of yourself, focusing on the self-conflict. A cyclone tries to rip you apart and invade your peace and can be almost impossible to fight against."

The themes of mental health, growing and healing, distancing yourself from past versions of yourself have long been a part of Future Palace's music and that continues with "Cyclone." The song's energy effectively mirrors the effort it takes to prevent yourself from reverting to the old you that you would like to leave behind.

The band shares, "We used a sample with the word 'amen,' which started just as an and was later interpreted by as a sign of rebirth — amen and goodbye to your old self.”

It also boasts the most monstrous breakdown the band has ever put to tape.

Future Palace are also embarking on their first-ever tour of North America this fall. All dates are below.

FUTURE PALACE ON TOUR:
9/25 — Baltimore, MD — Metro Gallery
9/26 — Pittsburgh, PA — Preserving Underground

LORNA SHORE’s New Album “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me” Out Today

Lorna Shore’s first new album in three years, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, is out today via Century Media Records, alongside a highly emotional new music video for “Glenwood.” It visually captures the song’s overarching narrative: Vocalist/lyricist Will Ramos’ personal journey to reconnect with his estranged father. See the gripping music video, directed by Dylan Hryciuk, Below.

Ramos says of the new track, “This song has been a very long-time coming for me. In my teens, my father and I never had a great relationship. We’ve had countless fallouts and it got to the point where we hadn’t spoken to each other in many, many years. I’d written songs in my teens and early 20s about him and my frustration but nothing really helped fill the hole I felt inside. There were just too many mixed emotions. As time went on, I came to realize that, despite my anger, all I ever really wanted was to go back to the home I grew up in. For that reason, I decided to knock on his door and try one more time to get in touch with him.”

He adds, “‘Glenwood Ave’ was the name of the street I grew up on. I remember my father always telling me, ‘I’m the tree, you’re the branch.’ The day I saw my father (for the first time in who knows how long), I quickly realized something. He wasn't the same person I remembered. He’d aged, had wrinkles, and a full-head of white hair. The tree that I remembered growing up next to was gone. The house inside was the same as I remembered but… older… dustier; and it felt… strange. As time seems to fly by for me, it also does for my father. And in all my parting, I never stopped to think about how much time actually went by. I spent my youth being so prideful and stubborn. I never even considered that as I was aging, so was he. I’ve had countless chances to fix things but wasn’t brave enough to actually do it. And now, I will never be able to get that time back. I wanted to capture that feeling when I wrote this song. My only hope is that when people hear ‘Glenwood,’ they can think about their own lives and the people they’ve pushed away and ask themselves: ‘Is it really worth being upset for this long?’ I believe all we really want is to go back to that special place – a place where nostalgia triumphs over trauma; a place that we can call home.”

“Glenwood” follows the release of “Oblivion,” “Unbreakable” and “Prison Of Flesh” from I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me. As Lorna Shore’s fifth album and the first in three years since 2022’s explosive Pain Remains, it continues the band’s reputation as one of the most impressive extreme metal acts to emerge in recent memory.

The quintet, also including lead guitarist Adam De Micco, drummer Austin Archey, rhythm guitarist Andrew O'Connor and bassist Michael Yager, have hit the viral Spotify charts, racked up hundreds of millions of streams, embarked on highly successful tours and in the process, galvanized a significant fanbase that hangs onto the band’s quest for stylistic inversion. But by virtue of physical onslaught and wanting to divine truth from their music, Lorna Shore have kept themselves fired up by torching the metal rulebook at every turn, practically demanding that other genres step up their game.

I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me is now available in multiple formats including digital, CD and limited-edition vinyl variants. Fans can stream the album HERE and find their preferred physical and digital retailer HERE. Fans can also shop a merch collection, available HERE.

Lorna Shore will bring tracks from I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me and other hits on the road beginning September 17, joined by The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow Of Intent and PeelingFlesh in a tour produced by Live Nation. Tickets are on sale now.

BAEST Launches Visualizer for New Song, “Depraved World," New Album 'Colossal' Out Now

Danish death metal commando BAEST is now celebrating the release of its fourth studio album, 'Colossal,' which is out now, via Century Media Records! The band is also now sharing a visualizer with animation by Frederik Birn for the album’s closing track, “Depraved World," which can be found below.

BAEST comments, “Lo and behold! Our new album ‘Colossal’ is out now. We’re proud of this one and we’ve been working hard to reach this outcome. And the title says it all - it’s grandiose, it’s epic and it’s COLOSSAL!”

Produced by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio (Heaven Shall Burn, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Haunted, etc.), the album contains nine tracks across 42 minutes, including the already released singles "Colossus" and "Imp Of The Perverse," as well as an upcoming single with guest vocal features by Jesper Binzer of D-A-D on “King Of The Sun."

'Colossal' is now available to order, stream, or download HERE.

The album’s artwork was created by Solomacello

Are you ready to rock? Something colossal is coming…

Baest are back, with a new sound and a badass attitude. Over the last decade, the Danish quintet have become one of the most celebrated and respected death metal bands in Europe. Their reign of terror began with debut album Danse Macabre, which emerged to great acclaim in 2019. Since then, the Danes have been relentless. Subsequent albums Venenum (2019) and Necro Sapiens (2021) cemented their reputation as extreme metal mavericks with an ear for lethal hooks, while their passionate dedication to playing live enabled them to spread the word at shows and festivals around the world.

But things are slightly changing with album number 4: Colossal. Pieced together in the aftermath of Covid lockdowns, and fine-tuned over the last couple of years, the new Baest album is an absolute monster. The new songs are still rooted in the belligerent death metal that informed previous records, but Colossal represents a wholesale transformation. Inspired by and infused with old school, classic metal riffs and a giant helping of rock ‘n’ roll bombast, Baest have written an album that delights in the glory of heavy metal and the fine art of rocking out. Bursting at the seams with catchy riffs and classy melodies, with stylistic salutes to everyone from Ozzy Osbourne and Dokken, through to Iron Maiden and Whitesnake, this is the magnificent rock ‘n’ roll rebirth of Baest.

CORONER Announces New Album 'Dissonance Theory,' Unleashes Music Video for First Single, "Renewal"

After more than three decades, Swiss technical thrash pioneer CORONER will be releasing a long-anticipated studio album, 'Dissonance Theory,' on October 17, 2025 via Century Media Records! Pre-orders are now live HERE.

To celebrate the forthcoming opus, the band is now unleashing the ferocious first single, "Renewal," along with a music video! The clip was directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz and can be found below.

Coroner’s guitarist, songwriter, and producer Tommy Vetterli comments on the new music, “I thought a lot about what Coroner should sound like today, but I pretty quickly realized that looking backwards wouldn’t serve us. Of course, over time you develop a certain signature as a musician. So even if the material is new, it might still feel like a bridge to earlier phases - simply because it’s me writing it.

"That said, we didn’t set out to continue a legacy. We just wanted to create something honest and grounded in the present. ‘Renewal’ now opens the chapter for what became the first Coroner album I’m fully satisfied with, start to finish. So we’ll let the music speak for itself - you’ll know if it speaks to you.”

'Dissonance Theory' contains ten new songs across 47 minutes, recorded by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studios in Switzerland and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden (Opeth, Kreator, Amon Amarth, etc.).

The album cover artwork was created by Stefan Thanneur.

'Dissonance Theory,' in totality, is rich in sonic detail, a stereophile’s delight. Part of that can be attributed to the expert mixing/mastering by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden. But the production, arrangement and soundscape details are largely the work of Vetterli and a longtime creative partner at his own New Sound studio. Vetterli notes, “At some point, I felt something was missing — a kind of creative counterweight. Someone to reflect things back with a fresh, critical ear. That’s when I brought in a longtime collaborator I’ve worked with for years at my studio. He helped push things into new territory and gave me the clarity and momentum Dissonance Theory needed to move forward. We made a point throughout the production to record as many authentic, organic sounds as possible. The studio was packed with tube amps, analog synths, and vintage instruments — including a harmonium and a grand piano — and we put them all to good use. We've worked together on many other productions, so the trust was already there. We get into that whole collaboration — and how it evolved — more deeply in the CD mediabook edition.”

Coroner are offering a work that proves they know themselves and what their band should sound like. No Coroner fan could possibly be disappointed in Dissonance Theory. It’s like a massive bonus from a band we all thought had spent their creative energies decades ago. “They don’t make albums like this anymore”. Ever heard that one? Coroner proves they were not only always in metal’s top tier, but that anything less than a ferocious return such as this would never have been the Coroner way.

Lineup:

Ron Royce - Bass/vocals

Tommy T. Baron - Guitars

Diego Rappachietti - Drums

Recording: Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studios in Switzerland

Mixing + Mastering: Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden

LORNA SHORE’s “Prison Of Flesh” Single & Music Video Out Today, From New Album ”I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me” Coming Sept 12;

Lorna Shore’s latest single “Prison Of Flesh” (out today) is one of the metal band’s heaviest to date, fueled by vocalist/lyricist Will Ramos’ raw feelings about his family’s history with dementia and the toll it takes on the person and those around them. See the explosive music video for the track, directed by David Brodsky (My Good Eye: Music Visuals), Below.

Says Ramos of the deeply personal new track, “This song is exactly what I imagine a lot of people expected of us to put out. We took all the heaviest stuff we had to create this incredibly dark, high-stress/tension song. I personally think the breakdown at the end of this is one of my favorites that we’ve ever written and I’m excited to see how people engage with this one.”

Ramos adds, “The lyrics for this song are about my family and our history of dementia. The idea that the world is falling apart, and about the fear of losing touch with reality. ‘They’re coming to get me’ is my way of personifying ‘demons’ or something that makes you feel like you’re losing pieces of yourself. The closer they get, the further detached you become until you’re nothing but a husk of fear and delusion.”

“Prison Of Flesh” follows the release of “Oblivion” and “Unbreakable,” all hailing from the band’s upcoming album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, out September 12 via Century Media Records. As Lorna Shore’s fifth album and the first in three years since 2022’s explosive Pain Remains, it continues the band’s reputation as one of the most impressive extreme metal acts to emerge in recent memory.

Blackened Thrasher HELLRIPPER Sign to Century Media Records, Shares New Music Teaser

The brainchild of guitarist/vocalist/solitary force, James McBain, HELLRIPPER has been running like a denim-vested, backpatch-encrusted William Wallace, brave-hearting his way through metal's bloodiest battlefields since first coagulating his personal darkness in 2014. Taking armaments from 'Kill 'Em All' era Hetfield and 'Welcome to Hell' era Mantas, McBain has immersed his fascination with darkness and speed with Scottish history and come with bloody masterpieces like 2023's' Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags' that Metal Injection stated, 'Bursts with growth and a mature exploration of darkness and eeriness while maintaining that original high-octane burning."

"I'm very pleased to announce that HELLRIPPER is now working with Century Media Records!" comments McBain. "It's a label that I've followed for a long time now and am honoured to become a part of such a great legacy. We share a common vision for the future of the band, and together, we vow to spread the word of the Goat Kvlt! I'm excited to embark on this new chapter of the band's journey and I can't wait to share it with you all! All Hail the Goat!"

McBain is presently sharpening his blades and casting new spells that will transmogrify into HELLRIPPER's Century Media debut, due around the vernal equinox of 2026. In the meantime, McBain and his trusted roundtable of sonic knights have taken to battle on European soil, leaving the likes of Norway's Beyond the Gates, Czech's Brutal Assault, and Germany's Summer Breezebloodied and staggering in their wake. In March 2025, HELLRIPPER played their first U.S. show at Houston's Hell's Heroes festival to a similarly stunned crowd of fans who were left beaten, bruised and beer-soaked by a crowd-swimming McBain by the set's epic conclusion.

"HELLRIPPER is the high-bar for thrash", states Century Media, Vice President of A&R, Mike Gitter. "Like an angry billy goat, with his beard washed in blood, James McBain is a feral force that brings together the best elements of metal, black metal, crusty, d-beat punk and speed metal. James' sonic evil knows no boundaries and isn't afraid to push the extremes of earslaughtering noise or unexpected guitar melodies. Century Media is proud to be a refuge for the Goat Horde!"

CRYSTAL LAKE Unleashes “Crossing Nails” + Announces New Album for January 2026

Japanese metalcore force CRYSTAL LAKE has returned with their newest single “Crossing Nails," which marks the band's first release this year and the second single since signing globally to Century Media Records last year in May.

Currently tearing through Europe on a string of festival appearances and exclusive headliner shows, “Crossing Nails” delivers a blistering nu-metal anthem. The single comes not just with a striking visualizer, but also along with the band’s album announcement for January 2026. The yet-unnamed record will be CRYSTAL LAKE’s first album release since 'Helix,' released back in 2019. Fans and new audiences alike can expect more announcements regarding the album to follow in the upcoming months, alongside new music by the quintet.

Stream "Crossing Nails" HERE

Vocalist John shares about “Crossing Nails”:

"I have a very love//hate relationship with God and the church. Growing up in a super religious household + going to 2 Catholic schools – I saw first-hand how they use God as a weapon of control. I needed people to be there for me. To save me from myself. To love me, and they were never there. They made me fear & hate something I should have loved. Fear is not love. Hate is not power. Control is not faith. Believe in YOURSELF. Love YOURSELF. Control YOURSELF. Faith is not a weapon - it's peace. Crossing Nails”

Guitarist YD adds:

"With this track, we’ve kept the heaviness that’s always been core to our sound, but brought the straight, speedy riff work to the forefront and wrapped the whole song in a more catchy structure. We also experimented with rhythmic and groove elements that haven’t really appeared in CRYSTAL LAKE’s music before, allowing us to explore a new kind of expression. By blending parts of my personal musical background into the song in a playful way, I think we managed to mix that classic hardcore and metal vibe in a fresh and exciting form.

"'Crossing Nails' is a new kind of hybrid song that combines explosive live energy with a strong sense of unity everyone can enjoy. Hope you feel that when you hear it!"

CRYSTAL LAKE has been touring extensively throughout the year, with their latest stops happening in Europe as part of their summer headline shows for this year. The band will continue their European run in August with a total of 6 headliner shows in Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands. The band will be joined by Angelmaker

CRYSTAL LAKE has won over fans worldwide with an unequalled live show and an infectious brand of metalcore that weaves together tight riffs, gleaming production, and screaming melodies along with guttural and impassioned vocals that both roar and soar. Releasing records internationally since 2014 on labels including Sharptone and Artery, CRYSTAL LAKEhas become a fixture on the worldwide stage – and it feels like they are now only getting started. The band released their striking single “BlüdGod” (feat. Taylor Barber) in May 2024 to commence the global signing to label Century Media Records, an important step for the band as shared by founder, songwriter, and guitarist Yudai “YD” Miyamoto: “We grew up on many Century Media bands. We love its history and are happy to be part of that and make new history.”

CRYSTAL LAKE is currently working on its Century Media full-length debut, due for release in early 2026. The record will mark the album debut of vocalist John Robert Centorrino, formerly of New Jersey deathcore band Last Ten Seconds of Life. Centorrino made his debut with CRYSTAL LAKE in 2023, his first appearance with the band being Knotfest Japan in March 2023, followed by an extensive US tour supporting August Burns Red the same year. Now, the Japanese force is poised to take their next step with their new album expected for January 2026.

John Robert Centorrino – Lead Vocals

YD – Guitar

TJ – Guitar

Gaku - Drums

Mitsuru - Bass

Orbit Culture Release "Hydra" Video

Sweden’s Orbit Culture are releasing "Hydra," the third single taken from their upcoming album, Death Above Life, which arrives October 3.

The band comments, "With 'Hydra,' we dove even deeper into the heavy tunings we explored on our previous single, 'Death Above Life.' Lyrically, it’s a raw and unfiltered track about cutting ties — direct, honest, and uncompromising. The song was written during a period of intense stress and frustration and channeling that emotion onto paper felt like a necessary release."

They continue, "Visually, we drew inspiration from the vast, cinematic atmosphere of the Dune films. That same sense of scale is echoed in the production — distorted, low-tuned cellos, and thunderous drums that feel like something massive is coming. This is easily one of our most ambitious videos to date. We scouted the California desert to find the perfect location — no green screens, no tricks. What you see is real: Just four Swedish guys sweating it out in the scorching desert heat."

Witness Orbit Culture's journey into a relentless, blazing inferno that was produced by Industrialism Films, Vicente Cordero with additional editing by the band's long-time partner, Riivata Visuals, here.

Catch Orbit Culture on their "Death Above Life" UK/EU tour this fall with Gaerea and Atlas in support. The band is also playing Japan for the first time in October.  More info on Orbit Culture's upcoming shows here

The album represents change, a new beginning," says guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Niklas Karlsson. "It brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it’s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth."

LOVE IS NOISE Releases Two Brand-New Tracks “Hole In Me” And “All Eyes Shut” — Out Now via Century Media

Following widespread acclaim for their February 2025 debut album 'To Live in a Different Way' released via Century Media Records, UK powerhouse LOVE IS NOISE returns with new music much sooner than fans might have expected. The band is dropping two brand-new tracks, “Hole In Me” and “All Eyes Shut,” along with an electrifying new music video for the lead single “Hole In Me,” available below.

Alongside the dual single release, LOVE IS NOISE is also unveiling what might be their strongest music video to date and officially introducing a new chapter in the band’s evolution. The updated lineup now includes Sam Clark (Bass), Alex Ioannou (Guitar), and Joe Pink(Drums), joining founding vocalist Cameron Humphrey to form the newly solidified quintet.

Cam shares about the new line-up:

“It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome Sam, Joe and Alex into the fold. They’ve been touring with LOVE IS NOISE over the past year and the chemistry we had between us all was unmatched. This made the decision to offer them full time roles very easy. We’re brothers and I can’t wait to tour the world over and over with them.”

He adds about the new singles:

'Hole In Me' begins a new chapter in the life of LOVE IS NOISE. 1 becomes 4. This song is heartbreak at its finest, accompanied by the heaviest instrumentation from ourselves to date. This is the future! On the other hand, 'All Eyes Shut,' alongside a guitar solo from our friend Erik, leans more into our alternative rock influences. This song sounds like if 'Everlong' era Foo Fighters was created today. To us, this is a perfect combo and a great addition alongside 'Hole In Me.'

Watch the Music Video for "Hole In Me" Below

Watch the Visualizer for "All Eyes Shut" HERE

LOVE IS NOISE began its journey in 2021 as a collaboration between Humphrey and former guitarist Tom Mellon (who recently left the band to explore other musical endeavours) balancing the ethereal and intense. While sonic signposts include modern-day shoegaze as well as the likes of Glassjaw and Deftones, the band’s 2022 EP, 'Euphoria, Where Were You?' (released on FEVER 333 frontman Jason Aalon Butler’s 333 WRECKORDS CREW) pointed towards a soul-crushing sonic heartache all their own.

A string of singles led to the band inking with Century Media and beginning work on their debut album. LOVE IS NOISE released the first taste of new music with the acclaimed singlesSoft Glow,” “Jawbreaker To live in a different way, take.one.minute,” and It Hurts To Know You're There,” which appeared on numerous playlists across the streaming platforms and were featured on BBC Radio One, Kerrang! Radio and Total Rock. The band’s Century Media debut, ‘To live in a different way,’ straddles the roughshod riffing and volume of their DIY origins while embracing shoegaze-facing melodiousness, hints of Brit-pop, and a beating (and bleeding) heart erupting from Cam Humphrey’s plaintive vocals. Co-produced by the band with engineer Kel Pinchin and mixed by John Markson (Drug Church, Drain, The Story So Far), ‘To live in a different way’ is a startling debut album.

LORNA SHORE Releases New Single & Video For “Unbreakable,” From Upcoming Album “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me” Out Sept 12 Via Century Media Records

After the rousing reaction to “Oblivion” in recent weeks, Lorna Shore are offering another taste of their upcoming album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me with second single, “Unbreakable” released today alongside a new music video, directed by Eric Richter. See it Below. The launch is also accompanied by a brand-new merch collection, available HERE.

Says vocalist Will Ramos of the anthemic track, “’Unbreakable’ is a very triumphant, all-inclusive song written to bring people together for a beautiful moment where they can realize that no matter what this world throws at us, it will never break us down. We and our bonds are unbreakable.”

I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me is the band’s fifth album and the first in three years since 2022’s explosive Pain Remains. It’s set for release on September 12 via Century Media Records and will continue Lorna Shore’s reputation as one of the most impressive extreme metal acts to emerge in recent memory.

I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me will be available in multiple formats including digital, CD and limited-edition vinyl variants. Fans can pre-save the album HERE and find their preferred physical and digital retailer HERE.

Lorna Shore will bring tracks from I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me and other hits on the road beginning in September, joined by The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow Of Intent and PeelingFlesh in a tour produced by Live Nation. Tickets are on sale now.

As Everything Unfolds Release New Single "Set In Flow" + Announce Signing to Century Media

As Everything Unfolds are pleased to announce their signing to Century Media.

To mark the news, the band have returned with a brand new single, "SET IN FLOW."

Listen to "SET IN FLOW" here

Watch the music video Below:

Speaking of "SET IN FLOW," frontwoman Charlie Rolfe says, "This song was written directly from the perspective of a replicant/non-human, starting off at the beginning of the song being told who/what they are: A carbon copy of another. Eventually, we follow them wanting to distance themselves from what they were, slowly becoming confident and comfortable in their uniqueness learning how to be human, even reflecting on their previous existence in anger, being kept in the dark about their unique consciousness."

Ignoring traditional genre boundaries with their distinctive sound, As Everything Unfolds have aspired to create a unique listening experience, combining a multitude of genres within the alternative realm and beyond. With over 30 million streams of their catalogue to date, their craft does not go unnoticed.

As Everything Unfolds have been nominated for three Heavy Music Awards, including Best Album in 2024, and have appeared at iconic European festivals including Download Festival, Graspop, Rock For People, Resurrection, and Wacken. They have also toured extensively alongside bands including Electric Callboy, Enter Shikari, Skindred, Bury Tomorrow, Holding Absence, and many more.

With new music and the signing to Century Media, 2025 promises to be a huge year for the band showcasing their new era across numerous tours and festivals.

Heaven Shall Burn Team Up with Old Friend Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage for "Numbered Days" Cover

Following their tradition of covering some of their favorite and most influential tracks featuring members of the original, Heaven Shall Burn are releasing "Numbered Days" (Feat. Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage).

Check out the visualizer that is accompanying the celebration of the friendship between the bands below

Bonus points for anyone catching the title of one of Heaven Shall Burn's classics in the lyrics.

Heimat will be released on June 27 by the band's long-standing label partner Century Media Records.

The band comments, "Killswitch Engage are THE metalcore band! When we heard 'Numbered Days' for the very first time, it totally blew us away. It was clear that something new was brewing up. No other band has influenced this style of music more and interpreted it better. Just because the guys have been very good friends for many years doesn't mean you can't pay tribute to this great band. We hope the song means as much to you as it does to us!"

Leach further adds, "All of us are honored by Heaven Shall Burn covering 'Numbered Days.' That song truly kicked off an album for us that would change our lives. All these years later to have people still resonate with our music means the world to us. Now to have a band like Heaven Shall Burn cover it 23 years later is really wild! Grateful and very stoked to have been a part of the reshaping of this song and to hear someone else's take on it!"

Make sure to catch Killswitch Engage on their upcoming European tour, because "Numbered Days" isn't the only song from this legendary band that had a lasting impact on modern extreme music.

Another pending question is finally answered: After Heaven Shall Burn had to cancel some shows due to their singer Marcus Bischoff suffering from a severe infection of his vocal chords, the band is happy to announce that Britta Görtz from HIRAES will be filling in. "We have a plan!" says Bischoff. "Britta from HIRAES will fill in for me at the upcoming shows, so tomorrow in Kufstein as well as next weekend! Give her a warm welcome, show her what HSB fans are made of and make the shows something very special in the band's history! We are really looking forward to it! Things are already looking better for me, too! Your Molle and the HSB guys!"

Get well soon and welcome Britta!

"Heimat" = German for "home/homeland/native land" — a term that merely refers to a relationship between people and spaces but has nevertheless always been highly emotionally charged. Often misused, it sometimes causes discomfort, lively discussions, and battles over interpretation.

Guitarist Maik Weichert comments, "Heimat is not meant as the narrow-minded end point in the sense it has been used by agitators and populists, but the starting point for observations and perspectives. The album is about a much wider sense of the term 'Heimat': The homelands for many different people and also about the spiritual home, something that shapes and determines our thoughts and actions."

Heaven Shall Burn took their time with the follow-up to Of Truth And Sacrifice, which reached No. 1 on the Official German Album Charts in 2020. Heimat was produced at the band's own studio, The Dude Ranch, which is run by guitarist Alexander Dietz. As in the past, Danish producer Tue Madsen took care of the mixing and mastering.

The Thuringians enlisted the renowned artist Eliran Kantor for the artwork, who previously crafted the artwork for Of Truth And Sacrifice. The centerpiece of the impressive triptych is a rearing stag — in its roaring variant a classic motif of wildlife painting, the epitome of kitsch and trivial art from the 19th and 20th centuries and interpreted by some as a symbol of patriarchy and capitalist competition, but here placed as a vital allegory of resistance amid an apocalyptic scene. He is flanked by a hunting lynx and a watchful owl, which complete the highly symbolic artwork concept as further elements of the triptych. As with Of Truth And Sacrifice, Heaven Shall Burn worked together with composer, producer and director Sven Helbig and conductor Wilhelm Keitel, this time supported by the Mondëna Quartet and the Ukrainian Sophia Chamber Choir.

HEAVEN SHALL BURN ARE:
Marcus Bischoff — Vocals
Maik Weichert — Guitar
Alexander Dietz — Guitar
Eric Bischoff — Bass
Christian Bass — Drums

THE HAUNTED Launches Official Music Video for "Death to the Crown," New Album Out TODAY

Swedish thrash pioneers and purveyors THE HAUNTED are now releasing their tenth studio album, 'Songs of Last Resort,' today, May 30, 2025 via longtime partners Century Media Records. To celebrate, the band is now unleashing another scorching new music video for the song "Death to the Crown," which can be found below.

THE HAUNTED guitarist Ola Englund comments about the new single “'Death to the Crown’ is one of those songs that just came out of pure frustration. It’s about that feeling when you’re watching politicians or leaders treat real people like pawns in some kind of game. It’s not about any one person or country – it’s about the bigger pattern. Power going to people’s heads, egos growing out of control, and the rest of us left dealing with the mess. It’s heavy. It’s aggressive. It’s THE HAUNTED.”.

With music recorded by Oscar Nilsson at Studio Bohus, main vocals recorded by Björn Strid at The Cellar Studio, 'Songs of Last Resort' was then mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (Kreator, Arch Enemy, Sepultura, etc). Artwork was once again provided by longtime visual collaborator Andreas “Diaz” Pettersson. Pre-orders are now live HERE.

Lineup:

Ola Englund – rhythm & lead guitar

Jonas Björler – bass, backing vocals

Marco Aro – lead vocals

Adrian Erlandsson – drums

Jensen – rhythm guitar

Cover Artwork:  Andreas “Diaz” Pettersson

Dutch Futuristic Metallers CRYPTOSIS Release New Video for "In Between Realities"

Dutch futuristic metallers CRYPTOSIS have recently unleashed their mighty and awe-inspiring sophomore album, 'Celestial Death,' via Century Media Records.

Today, to continue building momentum around the album’s release, and ahead of CRYPTOSIS’ upcoming tour kick-off next week, the band has shared a brand-new music video for "In Between Realities." Produced once again by acclaimed film production company F/53, the video is based on live footage from the 'Celestial Death' album release show at Enschede’s Metropool venue.

CRYPTOSIS checked in with the following comment about the track:

“We’re proud to present the live video for 'In Between Realities', captured during the CRYPTOSIS album release show at Metropool, Enschede (The Netherlands) on March 29, 2025. The song explores the story of a person caught between two worlds: the physical reality we all know, and a highly immersive, almost perfect virtual reality. In this VR world, life feels ideal, exciting, beautiful, and full of purpose, while the real body is slowly being neglected and forgotten.

"It’s a reflection on modern escapism, technology, and the thin line between living and existing. Experience the energy of the live show and the depth of the concept. Let us know in the comments: Where do you draw the line between reality and illusion?”

Watch the Music Video for "In Between Realities" Below:

'Celestial Death' was recorded by Olaf Skoreng at Tom Meier and Studio Moon Musicbetween April and August 2024, mixed by Fredrik Folkare at Chrome Studios (Unleashed, Necrophobic, Hellbutcher) in Sweden and finally mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Studios (Arch Enemy, Borknagar, Amorphis) in Sweden too. The album is the follow-up to CRYPTOSIS’ acclaimed 'Bionic Swarm' debut album (2021) and the EP 'The Silent Call'(2023), it once more comes with artwork by Eliran Kantor (Kreator, Testament, My Dying Bride) and also showcases the group on a darker, heavier, more melodic and extremely cinematic journey across its 11 tracks / 42 minutes of playing time.
