Better Noise Music Signs Rock Stalwarts Soil + Launches Band's Next Era of Dominance With New Song "Enemy X"

BETTER NOISE MUSIC is thrilled to welcome hard rock stalwarts SOiL to the label's global roster, thus launching the band's next decade of dominance. The partnership is a collision of two forces in the hard rock world who were ultimately made for one another.

Formed in 1997, SOiL quickly took the scene by storm. To date, they've sold over 2 million albums worldwide on the strength of career-spanning hit singles "Halo," "Unreal." "Redefine," "The Lesser Man," and "Shine On."

The band was initially signed to J Records (BMG) by music industry legend Clive Davis, the man who signed legendary acts like Pink Floyd and Aerosmith. SOiL's major label debut Scars which was released in September 2001. MTV airplay, the Metal Edge Reader's Choice Award for "Next Big Thing," and tours with Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie propelled the band to arena stages. 2004 saw the release of re.de.fine, which the the band spent a year on the road in support of, cementing their status as road warriors and a live act not to be missed.

True Self (2006) and Picture Perfect (2009) followed, proving that SOiL were here to stay. Whole arrived in 2013 and was met with continued radio support, and the band released the greatest hits collection Scream: The Essentials in 2017. It included alternate versions of familiar material, allowing SOiL to indulge their creative sides. Play It Forward, a collection of covers, landed in 2023. In addition to covers of classics from White Zombie and Motorhead, as well as the Ramones, the band offered a unique twist on Halsey's smash hit "Nightmare."

THE HU CELEBRATE LIVING HERITAGE, DIALOGUE, + PEACE AT SPECIAL UNESCO EVENT

Acclaimed Mongolian rock legends The HU took the stage at a UN event to celebrate the vital role of culture and artists in fostering global harmony, dialogue, and intercultural understanding.

The "Pump Up The Volume For Peace" event highlighted UNESCO's mission to safeguard living heritage and cultural diversity across the globe, while underscoring the band's ongoing dedication to humanitarian values.

During the event at UNESCO's Paris headquarters, the band performed songs from their recent album, HUN, and announced a donation to UNESCO supported by their global fanbase, reaffirming their shared mission to protect tangible and intangible cultural traditions for future generations.

Founded in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, The HU have earned worldwide acclaim for pioneering "Hunnu Rock," a groundbreaking genre that fuses heavy metal and rock with traditional Mongolian instrumentation and vocal techniques. Their explosive performances showcase centuries-old traditions, including the Khöömei throat-singing technique, the tsuur flute, and the Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), all inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Five Finger Death Punch, the multi-platinum, record-breaking hard rock powerhouse, is celebrating the conclusion of the North American leg of its massive 20th Anniversary World Tour with a $200,000 donation in support of Team USA athletes preparing for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

Throughout the tour, the band allocated a portion of every ticket sold to the initiative, joining forces with its fans to support athletes representing USA Judo and USA Cycling BMX Racing + BMX Freestyle programs.

Unlike many other nations, the United States does not provide direct federal funding to its Olympic and Paralympic teams, making private contributions essential to supporting American athletes as they train and compete on the world stage.

On Friday, October 23, during the final night of the tour at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, Five Finger Death Punch celebrated the initiative by presenting $200,000 to USA Judo and USA Cycling.

Founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory shares, "We cheer for our athletes when they step onto the world stage representing our country, but we also want to stand behind them during the years of work it takes to get there.

BAD WOLVES RELEASE NEW VERSION OF "JOLENE" FEATURING DOLLY PARTON

Bad Wolves have released "Jolene” (with Dolly Parton) through Better Noise Music [Stream HERE]. The new recording pairs the band's hard-rock take on Parton's 1974 iconic hit, this time with her own vocals included. This new version was made with the support and approval of the Estate of Dolly Parton. Like the original cover version released on August 31, proceeds will be donated to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library — committed to improving early childhood literacy around the world.

Before her passing, Bad Wolves shared their cover of “Jolene” with Dolly and her team. Since the release of the original cover, Dolly's team helped bring her voice to the track, supplying previously recorded stems mixed for this release by Kent Wells.

Earlier this month, Bad Wolves and Better Noise Music joined Dolly's team at NOZ Studios to hear the finished track together for the first time. The session inspired the band to pay it forward. Eva Under Fire, One of 2026's Buzziest Bands, Share Video for New Song "Starshine"

Fresh off a summer and fall tour with labelmates Five Finger Death Punch and emerging as the rock-band-to-watch of 2026, acclaimed Detroit, Michigan hard rock collective EVA UNDER FIRE unleash a brand new song and music video entitled ''Starshine'' out now via Better Noise Music.

Booming stadium-ready drums set the tempo for the track. A hummable guitar lead wraps around the rhythm like a python, squeezing tighter until frontwoman Amanda Lyberg's alternately soulful and commanding vocals take hold. The tension increases, and she recognizes, "In the shadows, I'm a prisoner of my own head.'' The energy swings into the jet stream of a soaring refrain with a lament, ''I'm in the starshine losing time.'' It illuminates the group at their brightest.

The accompanying music video shocks the song to life on-screen, while the subject matter captures how the band sucked the marrow out of every date on the four-month trek.

Regarding the song, Lyberg said, ''When you’re up at 3am and can't sleep because something feels off… that's the 'Starshine.' For all of EVA UNDER FIRE's new music, Amanda Lyberg drew on her career as a licensed therapist to foster open dialogue among the band members, empowering everyone to be heard during the recording. Her work in therapy started in 2018 when she graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and went on to work at a mental health clinic in Detroit, Transcendence Behavioral Health (owned by Dr. Stephanie Williams). That same year, her father passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. Her mother survived the same batch that killed her father and has been sober for the past six years. In addition to her thriving and busy music career, Amanda is currently a practicing psychotherapist specializing in trauma work, grief, loss, and addiction recovery.

Her story turned into a 2023 short film, My Rockstar, which used EVA UNDER FIRE music throughout and has won over 20 awards at several film fests including Orlando Film Fest, Wild Rivers Film Festival, Toronto WILDfilm Festival, and many others.

Sabaton Join Forces With Pop Evil On New Version of "Templars"

Continuing a banner year, the Swedish masters of heavy metal Sabaton re-up their 2025 hit "Templars" with a brand-new version featuring Leigh Kakaty of Platinum-certified, chart-topping rock powerhouse Pop Evil. The song is now available on all DSPs and digital download providers via Better Noise Music.

It's a collision of two different genres of hard rock that feels completely seamless.

Sabaton welcomed Pop Evil frontman Leigh Kakaty to the stage during their set at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY. Surprising tens of thousands of fans, they debuted this version together, leading to one of the standout moments of the massive fest. Kakaty infuses the track with a rush of fresh energy and fire. Between blasts of distortion and thunderous drums, his soaring vocals take flight. All of this momentum culminates on the chantable chorus: "Templars on the march, charge from the temple."

Regarding the new version, Sabaton vocalist Joakim Brodénsays, "'Templars' was a hit with our fans when we dropped it last year to introduce our 11th studio album, Legends. This year, we wanted to do something a little different with it, and teaming up with our North American tourmates, Pop Evil, just made perfect sense. Having a fantastic vocalist put his own stamp on the track adds a whole new layer and gives the song a fresh energy that we're really excited for everyone to hear. Today, Five Finger Death Punch released various physical editions of their brand-new 10th studio album, Legacy, which arrived digitally on July 31 via Better Noise Music. The collection includes limited-edition vinyl, CD, and cassette variants featuring exclusive artwork, available now through the band's official store HERE, with the European and UK vinyl release following on October 9. Celebrating two decades of Five Finger Death Punch, each physical variant stands out as a singular collectible, arriving as the band continues its current North American leg of the 20th Anniversary World Tour through October 23.

Since its digital release in July, Legacy has already yielded over 60 million streams and counting. Upon release, the album claimed spots on 18 international charts. BAD WOLVES HONOR DOLLY PARTON + RELEASE "JOLENE" COVER IN HER MEMORY

Dolly Parton was planning to contribute her signature vocals to Bad Wolves' heavy metal cover of "Jolene" before her sudden passing this week. On Monday, August 31, the band releases their version of the song in her memory, with proceeds going to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

"Our singer is a big fan of Dolly and had posted a bunch of videos of her covering 'Jolene.' So, we decided to make a rock cover version for our next album," says Bad Wolves founder, drummer, and songwriter John Boecklin. "On hearing our version, our label CEO Dan Waite sent the finished record to Dolly's manager, Danny Nozell, with a request for Dolly to guest feature on our version. We heard back that Danny had played the track to Dolly, and that Dolly loved our version, and that Dolly was going to go into the studio and add her vocals very soon. We then sent over the stems for Dolly's studio engineers to work with. Like everyone, we were devastated by last week's news of Dolly's passing."

Danny Nozell, Dolly Parton's longtime manager, confirmed that she had been eager to record her vocals for the track before her passing, while explicitly clearing up recent online misinformation surrounding the tribute, stating. "Dolly was a champion of artists pushing musical boundaries. She listened to the Bad Wolves arrangement of 'Jolene' weeks ago, gave it her full blessing, and was incredibly excited to collaborate on it. Releasing this track on Monday as a tribute—with proceeds directly supporting her beloved Imagination Library—is exactly what Dolly and her team wanted."

Don Burton, manager and husband of the late Dolores O’Riordan (The Cranberries), offered his perspective on the band's integrity.

"When Dolores died, prior to recording with Bad Wolves on Zombie, Better Noise Music’s Allen Kovac and Dan Waite reached out say that with our blessing they would like to continue with their plans to release 'Zombie,' but wanted to donate the proceeds to Dolores' children.

"As a parent, I was touched, and also very surprised when the label and band were true to their word and presented our kids (aged 12, 16, 20, 27 at the time) with hundreds of thousands of dollars. A very gracious gesture, which helped with their college costs, and we will always remember the band's kindness in honouring their pledge and Dolores' memory.

"The similarities here with Dolly Parton loving Bad Wolves version of Jolene, and sadly passing before recording, is tragic, but once again the Bad Wolves have agreed to donate their proceeds to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and based on the 'Zombie' track record, this could provide a lot of books for young children around the world."

Boecklin continued: "We will honor Dolly's incredible legacy by donating proceeds from 'Jolene' to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. We know that we can contribute to Dolly's vision of giving access to books and improving literacy."

"Die For You," which enjoyed a viral moment as the band took a firm and active stance against bullying, climbing the Active Rock Charts and currently sits at No. 15. The song is the follow up to "Drag Me," the band's first-ever No. 1 at rock radio.

The band took an active stance against bullying, which demonstrated the depth of their connection with their fans. The band posted a video of one of their fans singing "Die For You" at a show, and noticed bullying comments being made towards the fan and immediately leapt to her defense. Brandyberry doubled down and addressed this behavior from the stage, reinforcing the fact that the band will not tolerate such antics. The band also reached out to the fan and promised her lifetime guest lists to their shows.

The track is now available as a new version where the sisters' voices offer a stunning sonic counterpoint to those of vocalists Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case, further amplifying the song's moody melodies and emotional heft.

"Calvary Drive" finds Yellowcard firing on all cylinders yet again. It bursts to life with driving guitars, infectious hooks, and the kind of kinetic energy that's become the band's trademark. It culminates on an anthemic chorus spiked with a sunny melody and showcases every bit of what fans have come to love and expect from the four-piece.

"'Calvary Drive' was the very first demo we worked on with Travis Barker and our friend Nick Long," says singer Ryan Key. "We were just getting a feel for working together over a weekend and had no idea that this idea would be the spark for what became Better Days. It’s fun to listen back now and hear where we started, and how much the sound evolved from there.”

Barker fondly recalls the experience as “such an easy project and easy group of guys to make music with,” with the whole band fully invested in the process: “Everyone in the band was really active and really a part of everything in the studio.” One song became another, a day became weeks, and before long an entire record had emerged from a collaboration that was never originally intended to go that far. “Next thing you know it was like we’re getting back in the studio and we were scheduling weeks to work with each other and recorded an entire album.” What began as Travis Barker simply jumping in for a day had organically become the album Better Days. And it's that partnership that blossomed into a collaboration with another legacy hitmaker: Avril Lavigne.

"My friend Travis [Barker] called me up to say he was producing the new Yellowcard album and I really liked what I heard," Lavigne shared. "When he played me 'You Broke Me Too,' I liked how it can be an anthem people can relate to when finding hope after a relationship." The pairing felt particularly fitting: a song conceived in the spirit of the huge, emotionally charged ballads that helped define the early 2000s ultimately brought together two artists synonymous with that era, with Barker acting as the bridge between them.

The new material notably lands in the wake of the cross-generational phenomenon "Bedroom Posters" (Feat. Blippi). The reimagined track landed looks from Rock Sound and New Noise Magazine, who applauded how, "This version of the song preserves the original's high-spirit energy and Blippi adds his own distinctive spark to it." "Bedroom Posters" marked their second collab with Blippi following "Go Go Go."

At the top of the year, the band teamed up with Good Charlotte for the first collaborative version of "Bedroom Posters." Popping off as a match made in pop-punk heaven, it tallied 2.6 million Spotify streams and vaulted to #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart. A piece on Consequence applauded how "the song finds Key trading vocals with Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden," while Rolling Stone put it best: "It's the collaboration made in pop-punk dreams."

Two #1 singles coming from the one album, this signals not only a return to form, but a undeniable triumph; a band that still cuts through the noise nearly three decades into their career.

Bad Wolves to Join Skillet on Tour This Fall With New Singer Killboy Making Her Live Debut in New Role With the Band

Brake Drops Video For New Track "swingin'"

Pulling back the curtain with a wink, Texas-bred and North Carolina-based alternative pop provocateur BRAKE has signed with Better Noise Music and serves up a cheeky and catchy new single entitled "swingin," which is out now.

The track layers his breezy, butter-smooth vocals over sun-kissed guitar and a head-nodding West Coast beat. Pulling no punches and hinting at what comes next, Brake immediately sets the scene —"Butt ass naked by the pool." He flexes his dynamic range on flirty verses until the feels and fire overflow during the refrain as he recognizes, "Something in the way I'm swingin' with you.”

The accompanying visual projects this energy on the screen. Brake personally wrote the treatment, while Graham Bishop directed it. You can practically see his words play out in the NSFW visual as he pulls up to a pool party (sans pants) and enjoys the warmth of a summertime bacchanal. In between, he performs flanked by a lingerie-clad backing band and groove-steady drummer.

It opens up his wild world and invites everyone in.

About the song, Brake says, "I wrote 'swingin' about an eye-opening experience I had at a swingers club in Vegas. I wanted to make a song that fully embraced the free love and body positive lifestyle that I experienced there. This song isn't necessarily about sex, but was written to open the door of acceptance and let people feel free to have an open and expressive mind even beyond their own fears and insecurities."

Twenty years and 10 albums into one of the most successful hard rock careers of the modern era, Five Finger Death Punch today released Legacy, the record the band regards as the definitive statement of everything they are. The album arrives on the heels of current single "Eye Of The Storm," delivering the band's 18th No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, extending their own record for the most consecutive No. 1s in the chart's 45-year history. Five Finger Death Punch are currently on the first leg of the 20th Anniversary World Tour which takes the band all across North America with special guest Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire before hitting arenas in the UK/EU with Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within in early 2027.

Fresh from sharing the stage with Iron Maiden in the the UK and standing at the cusp of what is promising to be their boldest creative chapter yet, Hunnu Rock pioneers THE HU — Galaa (morin khuur, throat singing); Jaya (tumur khuur, tsuur, throat singing); Enkush (morin khuur, throat singing); and Temka(tovshuur, throat singing) — are pleased to unveil their third full-length album, HUN, out now via BETTER NOISE MUSIC. Get HUN here. While the digital and physical album is out now, the vinyl version and box set (details further below) will see release on September 11.

HUN — which translates to "human" in their native language — holds special meaning for the band. Originally called Between the Heaven and Earth, the album was intended to be understood as something natural and true, akin to human life on Earth, which is why they chose HUN to best represent it.

"In our third album, we tested many boundaries and used different techniques to perfect the combination of traditional instruments with heavy metal music genres," says Jaya. "The concept of the HUN album comes from universal experiences we all go through collectively as humans in this world. Our hope is to remind our listeners the importance of introspection through variety of songs from slow to fast rhythmic songs."

"'Horsemen' is inspired by the legendary Mongolian warriors who once rode across much of the known world," the band says. "These warriors were known for their discipline, intelligence, courage, and incredible skill. They were called the 'Army of the Heavens' because of their unmatched mobility and strength. This song celebrates their spirit and honors the qualities that made them legendary. It's a reminder that true power comes from discipline, wisdom, and unity."

The HU's previously released the single "Lost Soul" (Feat. Jonny Hawkins of NOTHING MORE). It marks the first collaboration between the Gold-certified global phenomenon and NOTHING MORE. HUN finds The HU, who were first tipped by NPR back in 2019, at the peak of their powers thus far. They expand the scope of their signature Hunnu Rock with 11 tracks steeped in the lore and legend of Mongolia, yet uplifted with universal ambition. It's as epic, enthralling, and enigmatic and it opens the gateway into their world.

"We took our time to do this right, and we're so glad that we're almost ready to release what we have worked on these past few years," the band says. "Now, we are also focusing on the performances and working out a brand-new setlist. We want to play bigger venues so we can do extensive production, and bring in some amazing elements of our culture, and play these ideas to our fans. And, as well as our third album, we have some amazing ideas for another album already!"

The HU just wrapped a successful headline tour of North America, but they are not done. The band will return to the U.S. in August, supporting Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson before heading to Europe in September.

"Crawl" seethes and surges in signature IN THIS MOMENT style. Anchored by a gut-punching riff and seismic vocals courtesy of inimitable frontwoman MARIA BRINK, the song sets its hooks in, holds tight, and never lets go. It's worthy of obsessing over—like all of the group's best material over the years.

About the track, IN THIS MOMENT, Brink offers, "'Crawl' is a reckoning — a reflection that those who dominate and cause pain will ultimately reap what they sow. As above, so below. The fall is inevitable. Bearing witness to the harm they inflict, the song declares that those who once stood tall will be brought to their knees."

Co-founder and guitarist CHRIS HOWORTH furthers, "'Crawl' is a visceral track that delivers the undeniable observation of powerful entities dominating and abusing the weaker and compromised masses — something that continues to repeat itself throughout human history. The song empowers and, at its core, is about standing up and fighting back."

However, it's just the beginning. WITCH showcases every side of IN THIS MOMENT: The fury, the femininity, and the fire. It's an 11-track opus that does not relent in intensity and introspection. This time around, the band tapped friends Dayseeker for "I Want To Believe,"; Kim Dracula for "Heretic,"; and Kat Von D for a cover of the Pink Floyd classic "Another Brick In The Wall."

THE HU ARRIVE IN LONDON AHEAD OF THEIR NEW ALBUM HUN RELEASE + IRON MAIDEN SUPPORT AT KNEBWORTH

Mongolia’s biggest musical stars, and rock-folk pioneers, The HU arrived in London yesterday ahead of their highly anticipated support slot for Iron Maiden at Knebworth on Saturday, July 11.

The Hu return to the UK for a full tour in October.

After landing in London, the band headed straight to the city's tourist attractions, including a visit to the British Army's Household Cavalry in Whitehall. There, they were spotted by a stunned, devoted fan; one Lance Corporal with the Life Guards Squadron, who recognised them on CCTV and persuaded his commanding officer to let them meet the horses and guards in the stables at Horse Guards Parade. The band were also introduced to Overlord, the biggest horse in the squadron.
