Outlier Sign to Oxide Records Release New Single + Video "Digital Hell"

Outlier have officially signed with Oxide Records and are wasting no time making their arrival known with the release of their new single and music video, "Digital Hell." The track serves as both a warning and a wake-up call, tackling society's growing dependence on technology and the invisible grip it has on modern life.

"Digital Hell" asks a question few are willing to confront: Are we still controlling technology, or has it quietly begun controlling us?

"We built technology to serve humanity. Somewhere along the way, we began serving it. We traded privacy for convenience, presence for distraction, and truth for algorithms. The most dangerous prison isn’t one with walls, it’s the one we willingly carry in our pockets every day. The next false gods won’t ask to be worshipped, they’ll seek your attention. They’ll promise connection while feeding isolation, promise knowledge while drowning out wisdom, and promise freedom while quietly collecting every piece of who you are. 'Digital Hell' is the soundtrack to a world that may not realize what it’s losing until it’s already gone," says Joey Arena.

He adds, "Not every apocalypse arrives with fire. Some arrive one notification at a time. We surrender our privacy without resistance, mistake constant connection for genuine community, and allow the things we’ve created to define the people we’re becoming."

The release comes on the heels of vocalist Joey Arena's guest appearance on Motionless In White's latest single, "Fight Like Hell," further introducing his voice to an even wider audience.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Arena shared:

"Thank you so much to Motionless In White for having me be a part of something so special and throw down on 'Fight Like Hell.' I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this banger and the creative process. Absolutely loving the fan response and support. Keep running it up!"

With a new label home at Oxide Records and their most ambitious music to date, Outlier are positioning themselves as one of heavy music's most thought-provoking new voices, unafraid to challenge both listeners and the world around them.

"We are extremely excited to welcome Outlier to the Oxide Music roster. This is a band with deep roots in the rock & metal scene who align perfectly with our mission of building the next generation of heavy hitters," says Andrew Wetzel, Founder, Oxide Records.

"Digital Hell" is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Brake Drops Video For New Track "swingin'"

Pulling back the curtain with a wink, Texas-bred and North Carolina-based alternative pop provocateur BRAKE has signed with Better Noise Music and serves up a cheeky and catchy new single entitled "swingin," which is out now.

Listen to "swingin" here. Watch the music video Below

The track layers his breezy, butter-smooth vocals over sun-kissed guitar and a head-nodding West Coast beat. Pulling no punches and hinting at what comes next, Brake immediately sets the scene —"Butt ass naked by the pool." He flexes his dynamic range on flirty verses until the feels and fire overflow during the refrain as he recognizes, "Something in the way I'm swingin' with you.”

The accompanying visual projects this energy on the screen. Brake personally wrote the treatment, while Graham Bishop directed it. You can practically see his words play out in the NSFW visual as he pulls up to a pool party (sans pants) and enjoys the warmth of a summertime bacchanal. In between, he performs flanked by a lingerie-clad backing band and groove-steady drummer.

It opens up his wild world and invites everyone in.

About the song, Brake says, "I wrote 'swingin' about an eye-opening experience I had at a swingers club in Vegas. I wanted to make a song that fully embraced the free love and body positive lifestyle that I experienced there. This song isn't necessarily about sex, but was written to open the door of acceptance and let people feel free to have an open and expressive mind even beyond their own fears and insecurities."

Better Noise Music Director of A&R Lexie Viklund states, "We're thrilled to welcome Brake to the Better Noise Music roster. From the moment we heard his music, it was clear he was bringing something different. He's an incredibly talented songwriter and performer, but what really stood out was his authenticity. His music is infectious, his artistry feels timeless, and he has a way of connecting with people that's impossible to fake."

Viklund continues, "At Better Noise, we love working with artists who are not only exceptional at what they do, but who are genuinely great people. Brake is exactly that kind of artist. He has an authentic voice, a fresh perspective, and the kind of personality that makes this business fun. Those are the artists who remind us why we do what we do."

This summer, Brake is utilizing the new artist-first concert platform PlayHouse to host and headline backyard and pool party performances. Created by Tyson Ritter of The All-American Rejects, the platform connects artists, fans, and space hosts to set up intimate, pre-sold, and ticketed shows in alternative spaces like backyards, lofts, and rooftops. Artists list a target number of ticket sales needed before committing to a physical venue or touring blind, and attendees are charged once the minimum demand threshold is met. In partnership with PlayHouse, Brake will perform in Tiki Island, TX on August 16. See more details here.

Nordjevel Sign to Season of Mist

The Norwegian black metal band are joining Season of Mist’s Underground Activists imprint. Along with the signing, the band are announcing a headline tour of Europe. This 12-date run begins in March 2027. It’s  presented by Chäuer Studios Bärn and includes support from Svarttjern, Malphas and Unviâr.

Formed in 2015 by vocalist and lyricist Doedsadmiral, Nordjevel built its founding lineup on established Scandinavian talent, drawing early members from Marduk and Ragnarok. The band's sound shifted decisively in 2018 with the  arrival of guitarist Destructhor (ex-Morbid Angel, Myrkskog, Zyklon), moving from the melodic, folk-inflected black metal of their 2016 self-titled debut toward the denser, death-informed attack that has defined Necrogenesis (2019) and Gnavhòl (2022). Doedsadmiral's lyrics, compiled years ahead of the music they eventually accompany, anchor the band's recurring themes of war, death, anti-Christianity, Norse mythology and esoteric darkness in the specificity of Norwegian landscape and history.

Nordjevel's live history includes Inferno, Wacken, Hellfest, Bloodstock, Maryland Deathfest and Brutal Assault. Earlier this year, the band completed a European tour alongside Aeternus.

New music from Nordjevel is coming soon.

FiRSUN Sign to SBG Records, Release Album 'Fortitude' Featuring “Oh Preacher”

From the pine-lined edges of East Texas to the salt-stained air of Palm Coast, Florida, FiRSUN is the sound of starting over.

FiRSUN has officially signed with SBG Records and celebrates the partnership with the release of its album, Fortitude, featuring “Oh Preacher” and its accompanying official music video.

Led by vocalist, songwriter, and producer Matt Jackson, FiRSUN represents a new chapter built from hard-earned experience. Jackson has shared stages with Nothing More, Set It Off, From Ashes to New, Filter, Dead Poet Society, Oxymorrons, Silly Goose, and many more. Joining him is guitarist Aaron Grove.

“This new chapter isn’t a return—it’s a resurrection,” says FiRSUN.

Influenced by the shadows and shimmer of Deftones, the depth of Failure, the soul of DC Talk, and the angst of early 2000s alt hard rock, this project is unfiltered truth. No more shrinking to fit. No more swallowing songs that should have been sung.

At the heart of the album is “Oh Preacher,” a song that confronts manipulation, hypocrisy, and the search for validation through the perspective of a narcissist who insists they have done nothing wrong while their actions tell a very different story. Framed through the language and imagery of religion, the song explores the emotional impact of experiencing that kind of behavior firsthand.

“The lyrical aspect of this song is a first-person point of view from a narcissist's standpoint seeking validation for their actions. They say they're not doing anything wrong, but their actions speak otherwise, while being dressed up in a way that is commonly seen through religion. Dealing with it firsthand and seeing how it has affected me, this song was the best way I could let out how I feel. I hope it connects with anybody that has dealt or is dealing with a similar situation," says Matt Jackson.

Fortitude is out now via SBG Records HERE

Modern Metalcore Band IRIDIUM Signs With Napalm Records

Hailing from London, UK, IRIDIUM are one of the most exciting new names in modern metalcore. Combining razor-sharp riffs and crushing breakdowns with atmospheric electronics and emotionally charged songwriting, the band has forged a sound that is both dynamic and forward-thinking. Their blend of technical precision, introspective lyricism, and uncompromising heaviness has quickly earned them a dedicated and rapidly growing fanbase.

Following the release of their EP HELL IS JUST A HALFWAY HOUSE earlier this year, IRIDIUM have surpassed 115,000 monthly Spotify listeners and amassed more than three million streams worldwide. Now, the band embarks on an exciting new chapter by signing with Napalm Records and unleashing "ENDGAME," their first single for the label.

IRIDIUM about the signing:
"We are delighted to be working with Napalm Records. Napalm is renowned for its exceptional roster of heavy bands, and we are honored to be joining such a highly regarded team. It has always been our ambition to push IRIDIUM as far as it can go, and it's fantastic to be working with a label that shares our vision for the band."

With "ENDGAME," IRIDIUM continue to evolve their sound, seamlessly blending technical precision with emotional depth. Progressive riffing collides with soaring melodies before erupting into crushing, pit-ready breakdowns, while acoustic guitars and haunting clean vocals bring the track to a reflective close. Lyrically, "ENDGAME" explores existentialism, questioning whether there is more to life in the face of human corruption. The result is the band's most ambitious and emotionally powerful material to date.

IRIDIUM comment about the single:
"Our first single with Napalm, "ENDGAME", takes the IRIDIUM sound further than ever before, combining our most technical riffs to date with the raw emotional energy established on HELL IS JUST A HALFWAY HOUSE. Touching on existentialism and grounded in personal experience, "ENDGAME" explores whether there can be more to life in the face of human corruption. This is a new chapter. The journey is just beginning."

SHOGUN MOJO Featuring Kiss Guitarist Tommy Thayer and Dan Reed Officially Signs to Frontiers Music Srl

Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce the signing of SHOGUN MOJO, an exciting new collaboration between legendary Kiss guitarist Tommy Thayer and acclaimed singer-songwriter Dan Reed of Dan Reed Network fame.

Tommy Thayer comments:

“I'm incredibly excited to be joining forces with Frontiers Music for the release of the new SHOGUN MOJO album. Collaborating with my dear friend Dan Reed on this project has been an inspiring and rewarding experience from start to finish. We set out to create something that was both powerful and unique, a dynamic blend of rock & roll, funk, and fusion, and I truly believe we've achieved that. I'm extremely proud of this record and can't wait for all our fans to hear it. Frontiers has been a fantastic partner, and I'm looking forward to sharing this exciting new chapter with music lovers around the world.”

Dan Reed also states:

“Joining forces with Tommy Thayer on guitar, Bengt Jonasson on bass and Robert Ikiz on drums to make the debut album for SHOGUN MOJO has been the most inspiring journey so far! Bengt, Ikiz, and I have been playing rock trio shows together for over 15 years, and when Tommy and I started spending more time together composing songs, it became apparent there was something brewing we just might have to release to the world. Writing this album together reminded me why I fell in love with writing songs as a teenager - For the simple fun of it!”

“As the world gets more chaotic and politically divided, we have tried to make a collection of songs that celebrate rock and roll, celebrate life, an escape from the noise, a record with a funky backbone with all live performances, harkening back to the 70s, arguably the greatest era of rock! We knew that partnering with Frontiers would be the perfect marriage to get the album out to the world of true music lovers, and soon the public will be the judge if we hit that mark,” he continues.

PC: Paja Hartmanova

Mario de Riso, A&R and Business Affairs VP at Frontiers, adds:

“Bringing together the songwriting brilliance of Dan Reed and the unmistakable guitar work of Tommy Thayer, SHOGUN MOJO is the perfect meeting of two exceptional musical minds. Timeless songwriting, world-class musicianship and undeniable chemistry make this one of the most exciting new additions to the Frontiers roster.”

SHOGUN MOJO is a powerhouse rock collective uniting decades of global experience and musical innovation. Leading the charge is legendary guitarist Tommy Thayer, best known as the lead guitarist of the iconic band Kiss, whose career has helped propel the group to over 100 million albums sold worldwide. Raised in Oregon and shaped by the raw energy of 1970s hard rock, Thayer honed his craft in the Portland club scene before achieving international success with Black ’N Blue and later stepping into one of rock’s most recognizable roles with Kiss in 2002.

On vocals, Dan Reed - frontman of the acclaimed Dan Reed Network - brings a dynamic blend of rock, soul, and storytelling to the band. Reed’s career has spanned multi-platinum success, world tours supporting The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi, and a creative evolution into filmmaking and visual art after relocating to Prague, where he now balances music with family life and cinematic projects.

Completing SHOGUN MOJO’s lineup is a rhythm section rooted in deep musical chemistry and versatility. Sweden-based drummer and producer Robert Mehmet Ikiz contributes a genre-blending approach shaped by performances in more than 60 countries, fusing jazz sensibilities with electronic textures to create a distinctive rhythmic backbone.

On bass, Stockholm’s Bengan Jonasson delivers melodic, groove-driven lines forged through decades of playing across rock, reggae, jazz fusion, and Scandinavian folk traditions. A longtime collaborator of Reed and Ikiz, Jonasson’s expressive playing and compositional instincts give the band its emotional depth and cohesion.

Together, these four seasoned artists form SHOGUN MOJO - a band where classic rock pedigree, international influences, and fearless creativity converge into a powerful and modern sonic identity.

Co-Produced and engineered by Joe Satriani protégé, Geoff Tyson, and mixed by world-renowned producer and artist, Rob Daiker, the upcoming SHOGUN MOJO debut album is a rocking, funk-fuelled celebration of life on an ever-growing dystopian world. Further details will be announced soon.

Blue Grape Music Welcomes Initiate to the Roster, Band Announces EP Out 8/7 + Shares "Numb the Pain"

BLUE GRAPE MUSIC is thrilled to welcome Southern California's INITIATE Crystal Pak [vocals], Michael Morales [bass], Draven Carter [guitar], Manning Gray [guitar], and John Hodge [drums] — to the label's global roster.

The band will drop the new WITH LOVE // WITH RAGE EP on August 7. Pre-order it here

"When I looked back at the lyrics, everything read as a letter, either to another person in my life, my friends, or myself," reveals Pak. "However, a letter to a friend would be signed off 'With Love' not 'With Rage.' I intentionally wrote these songs, so they spoke to these two opposing feelings: Love and rage. You can tell which tracks spill to which side."

Today, the band has shared the video for "NUMB THE PAIN." Watch the Bella Petro-directed visual below.

Widening their collective palette, the musicians nodded to inspirations as diverse as Hum, Deftones, Jane's Addiction, Rage Against The Machine, and Failure as well as longtime favorites Paramore. "We all wondered, 'What would it sound like if Clairo wrote a Quicksand record?,'" Pak says.

Pak continues, "The song starts off with a callback to our last single, 'Alone At the Bottom,' showcasing the ebbs and flows that life can throw at you. Where much of hardcore leans into anthems of brotherhood and sisterhood, this track still embraces those themes, but frames them through a more introspective lens. The addition of melodic softness and acoustic elements makes it clear from the outset that this is meant to land differently — not as a rallying cry, but as something more personal and reflective."

She finishes. "In a way, it stands apart while still feeling connected to the core of what we do — expanding our sound without losing the heart behind it, and showing that strength doesn't always have to come through volume alone."

Initiate will remain on the road for much of 2026. They recently played festivals and headline gigs in Europe and the UK, including a much buzzed-about performance at Outbreak in Manchester. At the festival, Pak joined La Dispute on stage for their set and it was truly a moment that won't be forgotten. Ferret Music Returns: Ushering in a New Generation With BORE & Wounded Touch

Ferret Music, the influential independent label known for shaping the landscape of 2000's metalcore, born of a love for punk, hardcore and metal, has officially made its return - marking one of the most anticipated revivals in the heavy music world. At its peak, the label served as a launching pad for some of the genre's most integral acts, earning a reputation for having an ear for artists who were ahead of their time.

The revival marks a new chapter for the storied imprint, with a renewed focus on discovering and developing boundary-pushing artists. In keeping with that mission, Ferret Music is proud to announce its first two signings: BORE and Wounded Touch.

Reflecting on the label's return, founder Carl Severson is thrilled to share:

"I started Ferret as a way to be more a part of hardcore. My friends all had talent and were in a band (Endeavor, Ferret 01) and I wanted to do more than carry things to contribute to what they were doing. It was a passion that turned into a life and into a career. For the vast majority of its initial existence I worked with my friends, worked with bands we loved listening to and it was just honestly an adventure. We grew and eventually saw behind the curtain and ventured beyond it. Things changed. My friends didn’t, and we still love listening… So here we are."

Representing the label's first wave of signings, guitarist Danny Kopij of BORE shares:

"Ferret was a label we always looked up to. From Cult Classic to Hot Damn! to A Great Artist to Versions and so on, the music that Carl, Rick and everyone else curated over the years became intertwined with our musical DNA. So to get to be a part of the Ferret family, let alone to get to be here for the revival is nothing short of the honor of a lifetime. Looking forward to this next chapter of our band and to get to do it Ferret Style."

Echoing that sentiment, vocalist Nick Holland of Wounded Touch shares:

"Any time someone has asked us “who would your ideal label be to sign to,” we always would include Ferret to not only be smartasses, but out of legitimate sincerity as they were always the holy grail label of our youth. Most of our childhoods were shaped by the Ferret catalogue, so we’d have been championing this return out of sheer excitement regardless. But to instead get to be directly involved as boots on the ground for the return of Ferret and count ourselves among the pantheon of genre defining records released under that name is a validation that can’t be bought, traded or diminished. We’ll do everything in our power to earn the privilege of being asked to be a part of it and to be at the forefront of this return."

Founded by Carl Severson, vocalist of NORA, Ferret Music established itself as a key player in the underground metal and hardcore scenes early on, signing and releasing records by the likes of Converge, Disembodied, Killswitch Engage, ZAO, and Every Time I Die, to be followed by Poison the Well, In Flames, The Devil Wears Prada, and more. Built from within the DIY community, the label earned trust through a hands-on, artist-first approach that prioritized long term development over short term momentum.

Now operating with that same ethos, Ferret Music returns at a time when heavy music is once again thriving at a grassroots level that is driven by community, discovery, and a renewed appetite for authenticity. With Severson back at the helm, the label is focused on cultivating a new generation of artists who push boundaries while staying rooted in the spirit that defined Ferret Music's early years.

Alongside Ferret Music's return, Severson will continue his work with Good Fight, which remains active under the Good Fight Management banner in partnership with Ethan Harrison. The company continues to represent a strong and growing roster including Great American Ghost, Denial of Life, Johnny Booth, Heavy Hitter, and Your Spirit Dies, among others. Good Fight continues to stand as a key force in today's heavy music landscape, operating in parallel with Ferret Music's next chapter.

With additional releases and signings to be announced in the coming months, Ferret Music's return signals not only a revival, but a reassertion of its place at the forefront of heavy music's future. Stay tuned for more news from Ferret Music coming soon.

To mark a triumphant return, Ferret Music is launching a series of vinyl releases that revisit key titles from its catalog while beginning to fold in select releases from Good Fight Music, marking a broader evolution of the label's catalog moving forward.

Among the first wave are two landmark Ferret Music titles, the first being Remembering Never's "God Save Us", available on vinyl for the first time with its original artwork and an additional track, arriving in celebration of the album's 20th anniversary and honoring the legacy of Peter "Mean Pete" Kowalsky. It will be followed by Torn Apart's "The Fifty-Ninth Session" EP, originally only available on CD, newly remixed and remastered by guitarist Drew Lamond and pressed to vinyl for the first time as a one-sided 12 inch.

Also included are two releases originally issued via Good Fight Music, marking the beginning of select titles transitioning into the Ferret Music catalog.

Old Wounds' "Suffering Spirit" returns as a special anniversary pressing, bringing the long sold-out release back into circulation and reaffirming its place as one of the most vital releases in modern metallic hardcore, capturing the band's evolution into a darker, more haunting sound. Rounding out the releases, Racetraitor's "Creation and the Timeless Order of Things" arrives with vocal additions from various figures across the scene (Dennis Lyxzén of Refused, Tim Kinsella of Joan of Arc/Cap'n Jazz, Stan Liszewaki of Terminal Nation, Sanket Lama of Chepang), as the band reemerges for a run of live dates this summer.

ABOUT BORE

For decades, Long Island has served as a breeding ground for innovative hardcore and heavy music, providing a launchpad for everyone from Vision Of Disorder and Glassjaw to Taking Back Sunday, Backtrack, and many more. Bore certainly carry the torch for the area, but they also manage to leave a mark like no other. That mark is imprinted with face-stomping force by their inimitable and inventivehybrid of hardcore, metal, alternative, and experimental music. The Long Island, NY quartet—Branden Gallagher [vocals], Danny Kopij [guitar], Sid Valiquette [bass], and Fernando Morales [drums]—injectchaotic, yet confessional vocals into a blast of technically adroit riffing, off-kilter rhythms, andclaustrophobic soundscapes. Bore first emerged in 2018 co-founded by Branden and Danny. Over the ensuing years, they canvased the East Coast on successive tours and built a national audience. They dropped the Bore EP [2019], Bore II EP [2020], New York Split [2021] with Utmost, and This Will Not End Well [2022] split with Crisis Actor. By perceiving Bore through a boundless prism, the guys allowed the music to live, breathe, and grow organically into a signature style on their 2025 full-length debut LP, Feral—produced by Adam Cichocki [Gatherers, Soul Blind, Kaonashi]. KNOTFEST touted Feral among “The Best Albums of 2025, hailing it as “hard to pin down and impossible to ignore.” No Clean Singingraved, “You should make time to give Feral a spin ASAP, or else you’re going to risk missing out on one the best new surprises of the year.Signing to Ferret Music in 2026, Bore embody a boundary-breaking spirit in everything they do with more to come.

ABOUT WOUNDED TOUCH

Wounded Touch sonically react to the false promises of a fallen world. Rather than recoil in the face of a flawed system, the Michigan-bred band snap back at it with pulverizing and piercing metalcore provocations punctuated by elegiac musings, unpredictable instrumentation, and screams abrasive enough to break the spell of any nightmare. Like an exposed nerve, even the most tender emotion screeches to life from their storm of detuned guitars, noise-drenched distortion, guttural vocals, and urgent rhythms. The quintet—Nick Holland [vocals], Kyle Maddock [guitar], Mike Poshedly[guitar], Dan Horn [bass], and Alex Larson [drums]—continue to respond to society’sdarkness through the ultimate act of defiance: creation. Since quietly clawing their way out of the Midwest in 2019,their palpable progression could be traced from Americanxiety [2022] to A Vivid Depiction Of Collapse [2025]. Receiving acclaim from NO ECHO and more, Brooklyn Vegan urged, “Fans of Converge and early Cave In should probably take note. Heavy Blog Is Heavy raved, “There are plenty of metalcore revival records to choose from this year, but Wounded Touch’s Vivid Depiction of Collapse remains among the best. Plus, the group collaborated with everyone from the late Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder to KZ Staska of Dreamwell and T.J. Miller of Still Remains. They have also packed venues as a headliner in addition to performing at Furnace Fest, Warped Tour, and beyond. Midwest roots and Nick’s day job as a firefighter paramedic for Detroit Fire further distinguished the collective within the realm of heavy music. Now, Wounded Touch take another natural step musically and thematically on their 2026 EP, They Promised Eden (Vol. 1), and more to come under their recently minted deal with Ferret Music.

ABOUT FERRET MUSIC

Ferret Music: Building Bands, Not Brands

When the lines between hardcore, metal, and punk coalesced into something fresh and ferocious, connected by an underground network of passionate, diehard counterculture creatives, Ferret Musicemerged as a leading independent voice championing bold, diverse, and invigorating heavy bands.

Founded in a New Jersey bedroom by Carl Severson and built organically alongside like-minded workhorses like Rick Barnhart and Matthew “Portland” Hay, Ferret was more than a business. A heavy music cornerstone, Ferret put people and passion before profits while backing some of the scene’s most influential acts. The principle was simple: build the bands first, and the label will follow.

Ferret's early years were scrappy and hands-on. The label grew out of hardcore basement shows and 7-inch culture, where trust was earned through action. Ferret treated its artists as allies, not adversaries, and that commitment fostered loyalty, which in turn built an unstoppable roster that helped reshape the genre.

Ferret became a launching pad for several artists who would go on to define metalcore, hardcore, and beyond. Ferret released the self-titled debut by Killswitch Engage in 2000, and Carl personally introduced the band to Roadrunner Records, where they went on to sell platinum albums and singles.

Ferret was also the first label home for Foxy Shazam, a major part of James Gunn’s DC Universe. Ferret was an early supporter of Ice Nine Kills, who went on to tour with Metallica, earn a gold single, and contribute original No. 1 rock songs to massive horror franchises like Scream and Terrifier.

One of Ferret’s defining relationships was with Every Time I Die, who became a Vans Warped Tour staple, co-headlined with Bring Me The Horizon, and graced the covers of Kerrang! and AltPress.

The label's A&R instinct was sharp, but more importantly, it was persistent. Ferret gave bands room to grow, find their sound, and build their audiences organically. There were no gimmicks, no shortcuts, no manufactured hype. Just great music, hard work, and a label that showed up when it mattered. This attitude also attracted established heavy hitters. In Flames, The Devil Wears Prada, Poison The Well, Madball, Shadows Fall, and Zao all aligned with the label for crucial releases.

These partnerships were built on mutual respect. Ferret didn't chase names; it worked with artists who shared its values. The result was a cohesive catalog that spanned subgenres and styles, from early releases by Converge and The Bronx to Martyr AD, Misery Signals, and Boys Night Out

Ferret releases carry a signature ethos: authenticity, intensity, and a refusal to compromise. 30 years after its founding, Ferret Music returns in 2026, propelled by the same ethos, creativity, and passion. Most importantly, it’s back in the hands of the people who built it. Carl and Rick are curating a new roster of bands that embody the label's historic strengths while pushing the sound into the future.

Ferret's return arrives at a moment when the scene it helped build is experiencing a resurgence. House shows are thriving again. Bands are finding audiences without major-label machinery. Vinyl is back. The infrastructure is stronger than ever, with international distribution and innovative approaches to traditional and modern release formats. Yet at its core, Ferret remains a scrappy, artist-first operation. With a DIY spirit, determination, and loyalty to artists, Ferret Music matters more than ever.

LUTHER Sign To Long Branch Records + Drop "Giving The People What They Want" Video

Following their recent performance at Rock For People (CZ) and after opening for bands such as Escuela Grind, Silly Goose, Urne, and Predatory Void, Berlin-based alternative metal up-and-comers LUTHER sign to Long Branch Records and drop their label debut single "Giving The People What They Want."

LUTHER's take on alternative metal is groovy, heavy, and even a little weird. Centered around electric guitar, their songs merge prog metal, nu metal, and hardcore. Borderline-theatrical screams and clean vocals hold your hand through the night. The band explores isolation, betrayal, rage, and escapism as its core lyrical themes. LUTHER have drawn comparisons to artists such as KORN, POPPY, and KIM DRACULA, resonating with fans of genre-bending alternative metal.

"Giving The People What They Want" is an alternative metal track with strong nu metal influences in the verses, progressive guitar layering in the choruses accompanied by hardcore-style vocals, and pre-choruses built around deathcore-like breakdowns. It perfectly captures LUTHER's vision of metal music: The embrace of metal's archetypes to create something exciting, dynamic, maybe a little weird, but definitely never boring.

"I'll give the people what they want!" shouted just before a drop, encapsulates the lyrical meaning of the track. If life dooms you to constant rejection, endless challenges, and unfair circumstances, find self-realization in romanticizing and dramatizing your role as an entertainer. You might even discover that you’re the best at it!

Stream the single here.

Watch the video for "Giving The People What They Want" below.

The single's production, mixing, and mastering were handled by Enrico Tiberi, current vocalist of The Ocean Collective.

LUTHER were founded at the end of 2024 by musicians who already had a history in Berlin's underground metal and alternative scene. In 2025, the band debuted with its first single, "Next Time Send a Killer," a song that generated unexpected organic engagement across social media and streaming platforms.

The band just played Rock for People 2026 in the Czech Republic, was announced for Reeperbahn Festival 2026, and was recently invited to a double-set show in Quebec City, Canada, for the Envol et Macadam Festival, headlined by Bad Religion and Hatebreed.

LUTHER’s upcoming debut album is rumored to draw influence from bands such as KORN; LOATHE, GRAYHAVEN, THE MARS VOLTA, and SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Stay tuned if that's your thing.

LUTHER LIVE:
07/03 — Berlin, DE — Rocktreff Festival
08/14 — Brandenburg, DE — Beer’n’Breakdowns Festival

Drown In Sulphur Sign with Noble Demon and Release their New Single + Video "New Moon Rising On Florence"

Italian blackened deathcore heavyweights Drown In Sulphur sign with Noble Demon and release their brand new single and music video "New Moon Rising On Florence"! The song is taken from their upcoming EP Strix, out on September 11th and is available to pre-save here: https://music.nobledemon.com/strix

As the latest addition to the German Metal Specialist Record Label, DROWN IN SULPHUR proudly present new music with a fresh band line-up.

Serving as a definitive look into the band’s revamped sonic direction, "New Moon Rising On Florence" unveils a track that is raw, visceral, and uncompromisingly heavy. The single serves as a focal point for the wider narrative of Strix, blending the nostalgic fury of MySpace-era deathcore with grim black metal influences, marking a deliberate shift toward a less symphonic, more hardcore sound.

Stream the single here: https://music.nobledemon.com/florence

Watch the video for "New Moon Rising On Florence" Below:

"With 'New Moon Rising On Florence,' we wanted to capture a sound that is entirely authentic and recognizable to the Drown In Sulphur name," the band shares. "Following our recent lineup changes, we entered a period of deep reflection. We knew we needed a change—a return to something rawer and more grounded in our origins, yet adapted for the modern era. We stripped back the symphonic layers to let the pure, unfiltered aggression take over. The result is a track that feels incredibly organic and devastating."

They continue: "Thematically, this song and the wider EP dive deep into esoteric, biblical, and dystopian contexts, heavily intertwining Masonic references. It all revolves around the mythological figure of the 'Strix'—the ancient nocturnal bird of ill omen. Florence becomes the backdrop for this dark ritual, signaling a new, rebellious vision of the world where ancient horrors resurface in modern times."

With Strix, Drown In Sulphur delivers a desperate and focused body of work born out of a renewed hunger for reinvention. The upcoming EP leaves behind traditional symphonic tropes to deliver a sound driven by raw energy and complex, occult storytelling—blurring the lines between theological dread and sonic violence.

As the first Deathcore band on Noble Demon, the label is expanding its style further into more extreme realms and CEO Patrick Walch comments about the brand new signing:

“I’ve been following this band for quite a while since personally I adore Deathcore and DROWN IN SULPHUR’s sound is outstanding. Intense and unique, right in your face and the right match for everyone who digs Death Metal, Metalcore, Modern Metal and anything in between. Check out their impressive catalog and watch out for our legendary and practical pre-save links since new music is already around the corner.”

The band shares the excitement and adds:
"We're delighted to announce our partnership with Noble Demon Records, a new growing and professional label. We can't wait to embark on a new journey and a new adventure with their help and support. There will be lots of news and, above all, new music on the way. Stay tuned".

Formed in Milan, Italy in 2014, Drown In Sulphur quickly shook the underground metal scene, securing millions of streams and views with their explosive early singles "An Epilogue to the Arrogant" and "Blackwind." Through a relentless creative fire and an evolving lineup, the project dropped a string of powerful full-lengths, including Sulphur Cvlt (2021), Dark Secrets Of The Soul (2024), and the rebellious Vengeance (2025).

Now, reinforced by their current definitive lineup, the band enters their most authentic era yet.

Drown In Sulphur is:

Manuel Riboldi – Vocals

Erik Bellan – Rhythm Guitar

Ciprian Grigore – Lead & Rhythm Guitar

Domenico Francesco Tamilia – Drums & Backing Vocals

Strix will be available on Sept. 11 on all major streaming platforms. You can pre-save and pre-order the EP at this location: https://music.nobledemon.com/strix

BraveWords Records Announces the Signing of STORM FORCE and their New Album Truth

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of Storm Force for the upcoming release of their new album, Truth, later in 2026.

Greg Fraser lead guitarist and founding member: “Storm Force is thrilled to join the BraveWords Records family for the release of our new album, Truth. We’re excited to work with a team that has been such a strong voice in the hard rock and metal community, and we look forward to sharing this next chapter with fans around the world.”

BraveWords Records founder “Metal” Tim Henderson: “The storm keeps building and BraveWords Records is where STORM FORCE has landed for their anxiously awaited second album! Canuck hard rock legend Greg Fraser passionately continues on his melodic heavy rock journey that started with the much-praised BRIGHTON ROCK, by uniting with the powerful forces of singer Patrick Gagliardi, drummer Roger Banks and bassist Mike Berardelli. Together, Storm Force bring years of experience to the mix, while still retaining that voracious hunger of their youth. A new storm is brewing... are you ready to run for cover?”

Storm Force delivers powerful melodic hard rock fueled by soaring vocals, massive hooks, and the timeless energy of classic arena rock. Founded by guitarist and songwriter Greg Fraser, best known for his work with Canadian hard rock veterans Brighton Rock, the band blends classic influences with a modern edge, creating a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly current.

The band first made its mark with the release of its debut album, Age Of Fear, in 2020 through Escape Music. The album earned praise from melodic rock fans and media alike, showcasing a powerful mix of driving guitars, memorable choruses, and emotionally charged songwriting.

Now Storm Force returns with its highly anticipated sophomore release, Truth, a ten-song collection that raises the bar in every direction.

Drawing inspiration from Whitesnake, Dokken, Scorpions, and Bon Jovi, Storm Force delivers music built for loud speakers, live stages, and fans who still believe in authentic, guitar-driven rock!

Fans will also be excited to hear that the back catalog of Fraze Gang and Storm Force will be available soon on the BraveWords Records Bandcamp at bravewordsrecords.bandcamp.com

THE DAMN TRUTH Signs with Frontiers Music Srl & Announce Deluxe Edition of Acclaimed Self-Titled Album Set for Release on September 11th

Following the success of their critically acclaimed, JUNO Award-nominated self-titled album, THE DAMN TRUTH are thrilled to be joining Frontiers Music Srl as the label prepares the worldwide release ofThe Damn Truth’ (Deluxe Edition) with a bonus track on September 11, 2026. To celebrate the announcement, the band also shares a remastered version of "The Willow" (2026), alongside an official music video, available below.

Originally featured on the band's critically acclaimed self-titled album, produced by legendary Grammy Award-winning producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, The Offspring), the track launches an exciting new chapter as THE DAMN TRUTH prepare to bring the album to a worldwide audience through its first global physical release.

Atmospheric, powerful, and deeply emotive, "The Willow" has become a fan favorite since the album's release. Showcasing the band's ability to balance raw rock energy with vulnerability and soul, the song captures the spirit of a band that has spent more than a decade forging its own path through relentless touring, unwavering determination and a fierce commitment to authentic rock and roll.

Watch the Music Video for "The Willow" (2026)

Originally released in 2025, ‘The Damn Truth’ marked a defining moment in the band's career. Produced by Bob Rock, the self-titled album showcased a band operating at the height of its creative powers, blending timeless rock and roll, blues-infused swagger, powerful songwriting and the unmistakable voice of frontwoman Lee-la Baum.

Speaking about the album and this next chapter, the band shares:

"When we began writing what would become our self-titled album, 'The Damn Truth,' we knew there was only one way forward: to dig deeper than we’d ever gone before. Not because anyone expected it from us, but because there was a fire burning in this band, a hunger to create something honest, something powerful, something that would move us as much as the records that shaped our lives.

Bringing Bob Rock into the fold took that vision to another level. There was something truly magical in the air during those sessions, an energy that’s hard to explain and impossible to manufacture. We weren’t just making a record we were chasing a feeling, capturing moments that felt bigger than ourselves and committing them to tape."

They continue, "What happened next was beyond anything we could have imagined. Watching these songs find their way into your lives has been the greatest reward we’ve ever known as artists. Time and again, we’ve heard your stories, your interpretations, and the deeply personal connections you’ve forged with this music. That’s the real magic of rock & roll. Once the songs leave our hands, they belong to all of us.

It’s been an incredible journey so far, and yet we’ve only just begun! We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Frontiers Music and the worldwide release of 'The Damn Truth' Deluxe Edition. Featuring a bonus track, and new surprises, this marks our first global release with Frontiers and a chance to bring these songs to an even wider audience around the world.

To celebrate, we’ll be hitting the road for an extensive UK and European tour, including select dates this fall alongside the legendary band Europe. We can’t wait to share these nights with you - SEE YOU OUT THERE!"

Florida Georgia Line has signed with The Core Entertainment for management under co-CEOs Simon Tikhman and Kevin "Chief" Zaruk, and Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for touring representation under booking agent Jeff Krones. The signings follow the duo’s surprise reunion at CMA Fest 2026 at Nissan Stadium.

The move marks a business return to Kevin "Chief" Zaruk, who managed the band at Big Loud from 2011 to 2020 prior to their stint at Full Stop Management. The Core Entertainment already handles member Tyler Hubbard's solo roster spot.

The duo makes a commercial return supported by their recent Greatest Hits (Expanded Edition) compilation and the Here's To The Summertime - EP. Historically a marquee headliner at events like Stagecoach and CMA Fest, the duo is slated for major upcoming festival appearances following their surprise set at Spotify House.

Landmark career milestones include generating the first country RIAA Diamond single for "Cruise" via 7 million digital downloads, capturing Breakout Artist of the Decade, and spending a record-breaking 50 weeks atop the Hot Country Songs chart with the Bebe Rexha collaboration "Meant to Be".

Florida Georgia Line currently commands 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with Chicago, Dallas, Brisbane, Toronto, and Sydney their top five consumption cities.
