Moodring Share "Cannibal" Visualizer

Founded in Florida yet now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Moodring is a nu-metal x alt-rock project led by dynamic frontman Hunter Young.

The band's 2022 debut Stargazer captured attention from the tastemaker crowd, including a 4 out of 5 star review from Kerrang! The band recently signed to SharpTone Records. Today, Moodring have shared the visualizer for the new single "Cannibal." The track has a very late '90s and early '00s hard rock energy, with chunky riffs, kinetic synths, and the expected dark subject matter the Moodring are known for.

Watch it below.

"'Cannibal' was one of the last songs added to record, sonically focused on combining nu metal, alt rock, and industrial dance music," Young says. "The song takes the life and mating cycles of black widow spiders to compare and contrast intimate relationships of our own and how they can be 'cannibalistic,' nihilistic, and ultimately end in demise."

The song is also being used to in the trailer for the new season of the Crunchyroll series Clevatess. Watch it here.

Earlier this year, Moodring shared the video for "Half-Life." Watch it here.

GORE. Go Back in Time With GOT-Inspired "Wrath" Video

Texas metal quartet GORE. — vocalist Haley Roughton, guitarist Alex Reyes, bassist Devin Birchfield, and drummer Wills Weller — dropped their latest EP, titled IF YOU DO NOT FEAR ME... earlier this year. Get it here.

The band has also shared the video for "Wrath." Watch it below

You will transported to a medieval moment in time, as singer Haley Roughton does battle with an archer and beyond in this gripping cinematic footage. It's giving Game of Thrones vibes.

"The 'Wrath' video is fully leaning into the 'Disney Princess Metal' vibe that the song brings," says Roughton. "I get to be a damsel in distress that gives her soul to a man that was supposed to save her, but ends up stealing her soul away for corruption. I haunt his every waking move afterwards, and eventually cause him to go mad and kill his comrades. This is by far one of the coolest music videos I've ever seen and I'm so grateful that it happens to be ours!"

"'Wrath' is the culmination of resentment, cynicism and fear that was made from the experiences in A Bud That Never Blooms," the band has said about the song. "Between the societal turmoil of 'Doomsday,' the death of romance in 'Babylon,' and the familial heartbreak in 'Heaven Is Above Me,' the human condition can wreak havoc on what was supposed to be stability and peace."

The new EP follows GORE.'s Spinefarm debut, the A Bud That Never Blooms EP (2024), which saw the band tipped as a "Band You Need To Know" by Revolverand described as "cutting-edge modern metal at its most vulnerable" by NME in their 2025 Essential Emerging Artists list.

ABOUT GORE.:
Haley Roughton leads the charge in Gore., a band that brings a distinctly feminine perspective to the heavy music scene. Debuted in 2023 with guitarist Alex Reyes, bassist Devin Birchfield, and now drummer Wills Weller, the Texas-based trio quickly made waves with their emotionally raw and unapologetically vulnerable sound. Their signing to Spinefarm solidifies their place in the industry. Gore.'s A Bud That Never Blooms EP serves as a deeply personal exploration of the complexities of femininity. Tracks like "Babylon" confront the painful realities of womanhood, while "Doomsday" reflects on the desensitization to violence and suffering in today's world. With plans for more music in 2025, Gore. are poised to continue challenging norms and expressing the full spectrum of feminine experience through their powerful sound.

The Artery Foundation Signs Code:Words

THE ARTERY FOUNDATION WELCOMES CODE:WORDS TO THE ROSTER

BAND TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE "LIMERENCE" ON JANUARY 9

THE ARTERY FOUNDATION is pleased to announce that it has signed CODE:WORDS to its roster.

On January 9, the band will debut its new single "Limerence." Pre-save it hereand stay tuned for more.

When CODE:WORDS formed in Los Angeles in 2023, they did not arrive quietly. The band showed up with urgency and a sound that already felt lived in — like it had a past behind it, like they'd been a touring act for years before anyone was paying attention.

They first gained attention with "Wash the Blood," a debut that spread without a rollout or a manufactured moment. People found it on their own and kept passing it along. In just over a year, the band's catalog pushed toward two million streams — not on manufactured hype, but on repeat listens and slow-built loyalty.

Fronted by John Dillon, with Garrett Lowery and Max Codeco, CODE:WORDS write from uncomfortable places: Obsession. Shame. Control. Emotional exhaustion. Nothing is exaggerated. Nothing is softened. The music is meant to make you feel something raw, and it leaves you uneasy in the best way.

The band's sound was shaped alongside producer Hiram Hernandez (PINKNOISE, Magnolia Park, Dark Divine). The approach is deliberate. Clear, and concise with one objective; Give you everything until, you feel it all.

"We're beyond excited to be signing with the legends at Artery Foundation," the band says. "It feels like the right home for the band and a massive step forward for everything we've been building. This new chapter starts with our upcoming single 'Limerence,' which might just be our best song yet. We've poured so much of ourselves into shaping this next era and we can't wait for everyone to share this experience with us."

Eric Rushing, President of The Artery Foundation, echoed the sentiments, saying, "CODE:WORDS is one of those rare bands that arrived fully-formed, unapologetic, and already resonating with listeners in a way you can’t manufacture. Artery is excited to stand behind a band that is scratching the surface of something great."

"Limerence" is only just the beginning of what's on tap with Code:Words.

New Miserable Experience (Feat. Members of Rivers of Nihil, ex-Revocation, Rosetta) Share "The Devil We Know" Video —

New Miserable Experience, featuring an all-star cast with members of Rivers of NihilRosetta, ex-Revocation, and Model Prisoner, have revealed their new single "The Devil We Know."

"The Devil We Know" is taken from the band's new album Gild The Lily, due January 23 via Pelagic Records.

Pre-order Gild The Lily and stream "The Devil We Know" here.

Watch the new video below:

New Miserable Experience are a Philadelphia-rooted collective that reshapes heavy-music rigor into expansive, melody-forward songs through alternative synth-rock. What started as a file-trading collaboration between vocalist/bassist David Grossman (ex-Rosetta) and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Mahesh Kost (Model Prisoner) expanded into a full band that now includes Rosetta drummer Bruce "B.J." McMurtrie Jr., technical-metal bassist Brett Bamberger (ex-Revocation), and guitarist Brody Uttley (Rivers of Nihil).

Each member of New Miserable Experience contributes a distinctive sonic fingerprint. The vocals act as the emotional center, delivering lines that feel confessional and immediate; synths and guitars are constructed with shimmering arpeggios and decisive motifs; percussion and production choices blend groove and tension within electronic nuance; and bass work often functions as a countermelody, lifting refrains and anchoring transitions. Together the five players emphasize careful craft over spectacle, shaping a song that rewards patient listening.

Across the twelve tightly arranged tracks of third album Gild The Lily, the band pares its palette to essential elements: clear melodies, precise dynamics, and richly textured production. The album trades overt bombast for craft, building emotional weight through small gestures and patient arrangements rather than moments of spectacle.

Elements of Gild the Lily combine alternative synth rock with chorus-tinted guitars, and a rhythm section that alternates between taut propulsion and roomy, reverb-soaked space. Elements of artists as lauded and disparate as CrossesUlverThe Black Queen, and more combine to irresistible effect.

NEW MISERABLE EXPERIENCE ARE:
Josh Kost — Multi-Instrumentalist
Brody Uttley — Guitar
Brett Bamberger —Bass
David Grossman —Vocals
BJ McMurtrie — Drums

Edenbridge Release Lyric Video for "Set The Dark On Fire"

Austrian symphonic metal act Edenbridge have released a new digital single and lyric video.

It's the title track — "Set The Dark On Fire" — from the upcoming album out January 16.

Watch the lyric video below

With the title track, Edenbridge present one of their fastest songs ever. The band continues to convey confidence without denying dark themes. The songs are earthier and more emotional than ever before, and in many cases, even more aggressive — but never destructive. The transformative power of fire runs like a thread through the entire album, literally making the listener feel the sparks.

Sabine Edelsbacher says, "As a bridge-building force in the musical universe, we stand for transformation rather than escalation. We see ourselves as observers of external events and dedicate ourselves to the underlying issues — inner development and our own effectiveness."

In the gentle passages, the band members are concerned with inner peace and finding insights. These are then presented with full expressiveness.

"When chaos reigns outside, don't get entangled, but go to the zero point, the center," Edelsbacher continues. "The fiery power of the sun immediately rises within you as insight and inspiration. Connected to your inner sun, you rise like a phoenix from the ashes."

Set The Dark On Fire will be released on January 16 through Steamhammer as CD digipak, 2LP gatefold version and digital and can be pre-ordered here.

ZP Theart (ex-DragonForce, ex-Skid Row) Drops First New Single in 13 Years With "Dark to Light"

ZP Theart has carved out one of the most distinctive vocal paths in modern metal. He first exploded onto the scene as the founding voice of DragonForce, shaping the band's trademark blend of turbo-charged guitars and sky-high melodies. Across albums like Valley of the DamnedSonic FirestormInhuman Rampage, and Ultra Beatdown, his vocals became the backbone of a sound that pushed the power metal group into the global spotlight and to RIAA Gold and Platinum certification. The era-defining anthem "Through the Fire and Flames" became a worldwide phenomenon, appearing in video games Guitar Hero III, Fortnite, and even the movie Minions 4, while their single "Heroes of Our Time" earned a Grammy nomination, cementing Theart as one of metal's most recognizable frontmen.

After his departure from DragonForce in 2010, Theart launched I AM I, exploring a more hard-rock-driven sound, and briefly joined NWBHM veterans Tank, adding his intensity to their 2015 album Valley of Tears.

In 2016, he surprised many by stepping into American hard rock as the new vocalist for Skid Row. Initially touring with the band, he became their official frontman in 2017 and spent several years performing internationally, injecting fresh energy into their revered live shows. He also ventured into gaming-inspired metal, lending his voice to Riot Games' virtual band Pentakill as the character Karthus on their 2014 album Smite and Ignite, proving his versatility across mediums.

He now shares the video for his new single "Dark to Light," which first new music in 13 years. It was worth the wait.

Watch the video below:

"This single marks my first solo release, and stepping into this new chapter has been incredibly energizing," Theart says. "I've been collaborating with the ridiculously talented Swiss writer and producer Syndrone and it has opened the door to a sound I've been wanting to explore for a long time. I'm beyond excited to reveal everything I have planned for you all in  2026. Merry fucking Christmas!"

From speed-metal pioneer to hard-rock frontman to digital-era metal icon, ZP Theart has spent more than two decades proving he can command any stage and any genre. His return isn’t just a comeback, it’s the next chapter in a legendary career built on relentless energy and intensity, a visceral force of vocal power and a presence that demands attention, ready to set the world on fire once again.

Capsize Share "The Fracture" Video

Last month, Capsize announced their return with "The Fracture," their first release since signing to Roux & Ruin Records.

The song, produced by Matt Good (From First To Last, Asking Alexandria), twists melody and misery into one — a dark anthem that reminds everyone why people can't seem to look away.

Now they share the official, self-shot video. Watch it Below.

"This song is about taking responsibility for everything in my life, even the things that are out of my control," Daniel Wand previously share about the song's meaning. "I've found holding myself accountable is the only way I've been able to make sense of the aftermath when things fall apart in any category of life. It's about feeling empty from it, and still trying to find some kind of light at the end of the tunnel by being candid about internal struggle. More than anything, I hope it connects with people who can find it relatable, who stuck in their own self-destructive cycles and helps them feel less alone in what they're going through and maybe taking on a similar route to process what they're are going through."

As for the accompanying visual, Wand says, "Maintaining full creative control has always been essential for us. By filming and editing 'The Fracture' ourselves, we were able to shape the visual identity exactly as we envisioned it. Although we've produced in-house content before, this video represents a new level of intention and execution, and we're incredibly proud to share it."

After several years of sporadic single drops, Capsize fans can look forward to a new physical release, on deck for 2026, with more details to be revealed shortly. The next release will be the band's first since A Reintroduction: The Essence Of All That Surrounds Me, which arrived in 2016 via Equal Vision Records.

For now, fans can revel in the melodic maelstrom of "The Fracture."

New Single Doomcrusher

German metalcore force Doomcrusher continue their ascent with the release of their brand-new single "Odyssey." Forged in an atmosphere shaped by uncertainty and upheaval, the project was created with a clear purpose: To push against stagnation and channel heaviness into something powerful, focused, and forward-moving.

Founded by Andy Posdziech (Any Given Day) alongside Jean Bormann (Rage), Marv Kinkel, and Rob Lee, Doomcrusher combine stomping, heavy mid-tempo industrial riffs with uncompromising guttural vocals that resolve into expansive, uplifting hooks. Layered electronic elements add depth and tension, creating a modern metalcore sound that feels both massive and controlled while staying firmly rooted in metal's foundations.

With "Odyssey," Doomcrusher take their next decisive step, expanding their sonic scope while maintaining the crushing intensity that has defined the project from the start. Following the strong response to their first releases"Breakout," "Reflect," and "Adrenaline," featuring Any Given Day, the band has already surpassed 1.2 million streams worldwide with only three singles — a remarkable foundation for a project still in its early stages.

Driven by a clear artistic vision and an uncompromising approach, Doomcrusher are not simply adding another chapter to their story with "Odyssey" — they are continuing a deliberate exploration of modern heavy music, proving that intensity, atmosphere, and ambition can co-exist at full force.

New Singles From Lionheart

California's hardcore heavyweights Lionheart push their current reign even further and now unleash their brand-new single "Salt The Earth."

Building on the massive momentum of their recent run — from the comeback strike "Bulletproof" through the pit-igniting "Roll Call," the explosive "Death Grip," featuring Kevin Skaff of A Day To Remember, and last week's powerful title track "Valley Of Death II" – the Oakland band makes it unmistakably clear that this new era is firing on all cylinders.

With "Salt The Earth," Lionheart deliver another uncompromising statement, driven by crushing grooves, merciless riffs, and commanding gang shouts that hit with absolute authority. The new single perfectly continues the band’s unstoppable streak and underlines why the response to their recent releases has been nothing short of overwhelming. One track after another, Lionheart prove that they have fully reclaimed their position at the top of modern hardcore.

With pre-orders already in full swing, Lionheart are charging full speed toward the release of Valley Of Death II, set to drop on January 9 via Arising Empire. Serving as the long-awaited sequel to their 2019 fan-favorite, the album promises a darker, heavier, and more aggressive chapter in the band's legacy.

To complete this massive cycle, Lionheart will return to Europe in January 2026 for a huge headline tour, joined by Madball, Gideon, and Slope. From the first comeback blow of "Bulletproof" to the latest strike "Salt The Earth," Lionheart leave no doubt: this era isn’t about survival – it's about total domination.

Gluecifer Release "I'm Ready" Video

Twenty-one years after their last studio album, the Norwegians laid the foundation for their brand new album Same Drug New High (out January 16 via Steamhammer). Now, "I'm Ready" is the next taste of what's to come from the album.

Singer Biff Malibu says, "It's one of the last songs we wrote for the record. Captain Poon had worked out a chord structure that fell into place really fast, and that we felt had a kind of happy and positive ring to it. I threw in some lyrics on the same note, and the song sort of wrote itself from there."

At a time when the world's inflationary desire for change seems to stop at nothing and no one, GLUECIFER appear to be the proverbial solid rock.

The Norwegian band, one of the most successful in its country, who immediately returned to its former strength after a reunion in spring 2018, continues to play a passionate melange of irresistible punk rock, traditional rock 'n' roll and dazzling glam elements — just the way the fans want to hear it. The new studio album, Same Drug New High, the group's first in more than 20 years, leaves no doubt that founding members Biff Malibu (vocals) and Captain Poon (guitar), plus long-standing bandmates Raldo Useless (guitar), Danny Young (drums), and Peter Larsson (bass), sound not only more mature and skilled, but also more versatile and determined than ever.

Since they got together in 1994, Gluecifer have played hundreds of shows and released a total of five albums plus countless singles, EPs, and compilations. After an extensive farewell tour, the band broke up in 2005. But Gluecifer have never been forgotten by their fans. As a result, their 2018 comeback was not only met with huge acclaim, but was also celebrated by numerous concerts throughout Europe, including appearances at renowned festivals such as the Azkena Festival in Spain, Hellfest in France, and Tons Of Rock in Norway. So it comes as no surprise that their extensive fanbase started to clamor for new songs and another studio album almost immediately. Gluecifer have fulfilled that request at last with Same Drug New High, which was composed, produced, and mixed in their hometown of Oslo.

The new recording will be supported by an extensive European tour in spring 2026 — scheduled to kick off in Sweden on the album’s release date — and take Gluecifer to Germany, Norway and Spain.

Dragony Release Lyric Video for "Shadow and Flame" // Touring With Ensiferum + Freedom Call

After two albums on which Austrian Power Metal band Dragony took on fantastical interpretations of real-life historical events, it has now become time for the band to once again return to their pop-culture influences — and thus the new single "Shadow and Flame" was created over the summer of 2025.

For this song, the band took inspiration from the popular video game Elden Ring Brittney slayesand its DLC Shadow of the Erdtree. In order to properly pay tribute to such a monumental game, Dragony have not only expanded their own permanent lineup with the addition of new second lead singer Maria Nesh, but also received some additional support from the phenomenal Brittney Slayes (UNLEASH THE ARCHERS). Lasse Elkjear from Denmark was once again responsible for the epic orchestrations, and legendary producer Jacob Hansen took care of the sound

Singer Siegfried Samer says, "As a longtime fan of the games published by Fromsoft, I of course also played Elden Ring passionately — and so it became time to release a third song inspired by the Fromsoft universe after our previous titles 'Kiln of the First Flame' and 'Lords of the Hunt' already took inspiration from Dark Souls and Bloodborne. So we are finishing off the trilogy with 'Shadow and Flame,' and in addition to a full-fledged new band member in the shape of our new second lead singer Maria Nesh, we also received some excellent support from the brilliant Brittney Slayes from UNLEASH THE ARCHERS, who adds another very distinctive touch to the song.

"The cover artwork was once again created by Stan Decker for us, who already did the artwork for our album Hic Svnt Dracones. The very dark and somber image depicts an interpretation of the 'Scadutree' from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC of Elden Ring, in combination with a fiery serpent, which symbolizes the character 'Messmer,' who plays a prominent part in the story of the game."

Watch the lyric video below;

Their current album Hic Svnt Dracones was released in 2024 worldwide through Steamhammer as CD digipak, 2LP gatefold version, download and stream here.

NJ Native + Former HxCx Concert Promoter Heath Miller Resurrects Fyre Festival + Supports Honduran Tourism

PHNX rising from the ashes of the doomed FYRE FESTIVAL is a story you never expected.

Heath Miller, one of the key behind-the-scenes forces who helped turn the 2025 Fyre Festival in Honduras into a fully executed, wildly talked-about cultural moment — and, in his words, "the most epic, never done before, tourism marketing campaign ever" — is a former New Jersey hard rock concert promoter and VP and talent buyer at NYC's famed Webster Hall, where he booked everyone from Metallica to Nine Inch Nails. He is also known for booking some of My Chemical Romance's first-ever shows.

If anyone has the know-how (and, well, the cajones) to reboot FYRE, it's Miller.

While the world is buzzing about the festival's improbable comeback, what's still untold is how it actually happened — and how a remote island like Utila became the unlikely center of global attention. It's that story that can only be told by Heath Miller.

Miller can discuss the production blueprint that brought Fyre Festival to Utila and made it work — the logistics, the innovation, and the "quiet genius" puzzle-pieces put in place long before the headline moment, as well as The Coral View Beach Resort connection — how the festival became a spotlight moment for the resort, and why he sees it as the catalyst for a new era of tourism on Utila.

He can also address the French Montana plane incident and how he and Billy coordinated the solution that ensured talent was able to get where they needed to go, turning a potential fiasco into a power move for the island's visibility.

While many non-believers and naysayers have questioned the success of the event, Miller and his wife have also been the target of harassment via his social media accounts.

But he remains undeterred.

Ultimately, though, Miller has a bigger mission: Using the global attention to push forward a long-needed conversation about Utila's airport infrastructure — whether through government momentum or private investment — to make the island safer, more accessible, and better equipped for future headline-driving events.

Are you ready for the real, full-fledged Fyre Festival story — the one that didn't collapse, but instead re-ignited an entire destination?

Heath Miller is available for press opportunities.

Heath has leveraged his non-profit experience along with his marketing and logistics experience from the event industry to form Support Utila.

Axel Rudi Pell Announces New Album "Ghost Town" Out 3/20 + Shares Lyric Video for Title Track

You need neither encyclopedia nor satnav to enjoy the music of Bochum-based guitarist, composer, and band mastermind Axel Rudi Pell.

Because what applies to most successful musicians also goes for Pell: His songs are marked by his typical, unmistakable signature — a hybrid of powerful guitar riffs and catchy melodies, presented by a brilliant band consisting of American vocalist Johnny Gioeli, former Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli, bassist Volker Krawczak, and keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg.

And although Pell has been wowing his fans with this impressive mix for well over 35 (!!!) years, his albums have always included a number of surprises and/or remarkable collaborations. His current studio offering, Ghost Town, is no exception. Axel Rudi Pell has added another 11 masterpieces to his long list of outstanding songs.

Among the songs one stands out: "Breaking Seals," featuring a sensational duet starring frontman Gioeli together with German metal legend Udo Dirkschneider. This collaboration is an absolute first in Pell's career and is additional proof of the great respect the guitarist enjoys among his fellow musicians.

Axel Rudi Pell produced the Ghost Town himself, with Tommy Geiger (Blind Guardian, Helloween), who was also in charge of the mix, providing valuable engineering support during the recording sessions at the Blind Guardian Studios in Grefrath.

The album's debut single "Ghost Town" is the perfect first representative of the new album: A haunting uptempo number, very catchy, very focused that brings to mind the style of early Rainbow classics.

Jagged City (feat. Defeater, ex-Explosions In The Sky) Reveal Debut Single + EP // Share "Imaginary Lines" Video

Post-rock trio Jagged City, featuring Jake Woodruff (Defeater) and Carlos Torres (former touring member of Explosions In The Sky) have unveiled their debut single "Imaginary Lines." They have also announced their debut EP, There Are More of Us, Always, to be released on January 30 via Pelagic Records.

Watch the "Imaginary Lines" video Below.

Stream the single here.

There Are More of Us, Always is a bold collection that moves between spacious, melodic guitar passages and raucous, swelling climbs. With heartfelt, melodious songwriting, a diverse range of eclectic touches buried within, and eruptions of dense, layered sound, this record delivers wonderfully balanced compositions through raw and personal production.

The project began as a cross-continental art experiment between Woodruff and Torres. What started as a simple exchange of ideas quickly found real shape through collaborative composition and thoughtful arrangement. Early sessions with David Haik helped refine the songs' structures and drum frameworks, setting the groundwork for what would become Jagged City's striking debut.

"We wrote with pure instinct, just tried to add something new to a genre that we love. As we traded ideas, we took some left turns and incorporated elements that may be unexpected," comments Woodruff.

When it came time to record, scheduling issues led to an inspired change of plans. Urian Hackney joined the project both behind the kit and behind the board, engineering and performing the drum parts that propel the record. In two intense days at The Box studio in Burlington, VT, Jake and Urian captured the core of the album with an immediacy and urgency that remain audible in every take.

Carlos recorded bass in Los Angeles alongside longtime musical colleague Michael James (Explosions In The Sky), while Jake added further guitar textures from his home studio, creating layers that thread the compositions together.

This debut is both a statement of intent and an open invitation: Jagged City offer music that rewards close listening and communal experience—an instrumental journey shaped by collaboration and a fierce commitment to feeling. While still post-rock, There Are More of Us, Always utilizes a diverse range of influence, giving a freshness to each uniquely realized track.

"This record is a product of collaboration and love and creativity - we hope it inspires people to be connected and think collaboratively and creatively together. That's the only way forward." concludes Woodruff.
