As Everything Unfolds Release New Album "Did You Ask To Be Set Free" Plus New Video For "Find Another Way Out"

As Everything Unfolds release their highly-anticipated new album, DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE?, via Century Media.

"People often reference and say that their album has been a journey process for them in their experiences, a form of therapy if you will," says As Everything Unfolds frontwoman Charlie Rolfe. "I've never related to something so deeply as I have with this record. This album's process started in an extremely positive part of my life, we started writing the record, things were going well, music was flowing we had about ten demos at this point, I was living in harmony and happiness, finally starting to feel at peace in life with my bandmates, friends, family and partner, only to be hit with the shift of losing more than I can even describe."

"I had to move from my home, drugs/alcohol were corrupting people around me," she continues. "Alongside this my boyfriend, and fellow bandmate Jamie, passed away. Going through all of this trauma and grief left me in a state of numbness, losing all sense of myself. After some time we decided to tackle writing again, I started journaling after my therapy sessions a lot and turning those entries into lyrics, and it rolled from there into a lot of the songs you hear on this record. Given the nature of Jamie's passing and other traumas happening midway through the process, you really get the sense of change, the sonic and lyrical dynamic shift in the music, and as hard as it is, to listen to some of the tracks, knowing what I'd been through, knowing that some tracks Jamie had either heard or he hadn't, even now it's still hard to process, but that process, that movement and passage of time it's what makes it a journey of our experiences."

"I found a lot of comfort in my passions during my time alone. I spent a lot of time waiting for days to go by, experiencing what I now know to be maladaptive daydreaming, just to get myself out of my own life and human experience whenever I could. I started to play with the idea of writing this record through the perspective of escapism, mirroring my own escape from trauma into daydreams, movies and music. Films like Blade Runner, Donnie DarkoBram Stoker's Dracula and The Shining allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings with a protective barrier, pretending to be someone else rather than living these experiences in real time as Charlie."

"I was really seeking new musical inspiration after our second album. Reading 'The Creative Act' by Rick Rubin changed the way I wrote melodies and lyrics, and how I viewed creativity as a whole. I spent a lot of time writing subconsciously while driving, walking or cooking. For example, I was blasting the Gasoline instrumental demo while cooking and wrote the whole chorus almost in one take, voice noting it immediately, and it didn’t change much from there to the final version."

"I ended up going backwards to my teenage years for inspiration, pulling from music I feel so connected to like
My Chemical Romance, Thirty Seconds to Mars' A Beautiful Lie and Flyleaf's Memento Mori, alongside the New Wave and New Romantic music I was brought up on. Bands like Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran and Adam & The Ants influenced the album visually, while peers like Vukovi, Rivals, Enter Shikari, The Throwaway Scene and South Arcade helped shape it in the present."

Of "Find Another Way", today’s album release single, Charlie says:
"'Find Another Way' is a song written about having to come to terms with my own self sacrifice and letting go of holding control of things I just can’t anymore. I found I just needed to follow the path that was always destined for me. I really started to think about how as soon as I started to accept my present reality, my path & just letting things happen, how much more I was able to manage myself on a day to day basis, sacrificing the person I was before all my trauma, letting them go and evolving into this new version of myself, whether that be for better or worse in the meantime, it's who I am now supposed to be and I will find another way to be, another way to exist and find myself again. I remember watching Donnie Darko and for some reason this particular time I watched it, it hit me in a way I never felt before, watching Donnie have to come to terms with his own death so his friends/family can continue to live, how he tried to ignore his new reality, and in the end he found happiness in knowing what he did saved everyone around him."

Haste The Day conjure the sound of coming full circle. The Indiana-bred band rekindles the spark at the heart of their signature style by sharpening the edges, tightening the melodies, and amplifying the scope with cinematic ambition. Haste The Day have clung to their integrity since initially emerging at the turn of the century. Following Burning Bridges [2004] and When Everything Falls [2005], Stephen made his formal debut as the group's frontman on Pressure The Hinges [2007]. The band unleashed a trio of fan favorite offerings, namely Dreamer [2008], the seminal Attack Of The Wolf King [2010], and Coward [2015]. The latter marked their second straight Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and second Top 10 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart. Along the way, they toured with everyone from Hollywood Undead to Norma Jean. Despite going dormant in 2016, they amassed tens of millions of streams and continued to resonate with an ever-expanding audience. As such, their 2023 reunion gig at the sold-out Furnace Fest was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Returning with their first full-length release in eleven years, the musicians tap into who they were and push forward together on their seventh LP, Dissenter [Solid State].

ANY GIVEN DAY UNVEIL "HEAL ME TO DEATH" VIDEO

With "Heal Me To Death," Any Given Day deliver one of their most intense and emotionally charged tracks to date — a crushing metalcore anthem that blurs the line between healing and harm. Watch the video Below.

Driven by razor-sharp riffs, thunderous breakdowns, and a haunting melodic undercurrent, the song dives deep into the toxicity of control disguised as care. "Heal Me To Death" explores the suffocating weight of relationships where love becomes manipulation, and salvation turns into destruction. It's a raw confrontation of inner conflict and external pressure — where the promise of being "fixed" comes at the cost of losing yourself.

Lyrically, the band paints a dark and vivid picture: Golden façades hiding inner demons, faith twisted into force, and words that cut deeper than wounds. The recurring line "Pour your cure like poison, watch me bleed" encapsulates the track's core — a powerful metaphor for the danger of imposed healing and the violence of misunderstood intentions.

Balancing aggression with vulnerability, Any Given Day showcase their signature dynamic sound, seamlessly shifting between brutal heaviness and soaring emotional intensity. The result is a track that is as cathartic as it is devastating — a battle cry for autonomy, identity, and the right to break free from toxic salvation.

"Heal Me To Death" isn't just a song — it's a statement: sometimes the most dangerous thing isn't the pain itself, but the people who claim to take it away.

BANK ARCADE DROP VIDEO FOR COMEBACK SINGLE "SEVERANCE"

Arising Empire have never been ones to play it safe—but with their newest signing, they've doubled down on something far more volatile. Enter Banks Arcade and their ferocious new single "Severance": A track that doesn't just blur genre lines — it tears them apart and leaves the pieces smoldering. Watch the video Below:

Built on a collision of punishing metalcore, glitchy electronic textures, and the swagger of modern hip-hop, "Severance" feels less like a song and more like a system overload. It's aggressive, cinematic, and calculated chaos—exactly the kind of statement you'd expect from a band that has never acknowledged the idea of staying in one lane.

And Banks Arcade didn't arrive here by accident. What started as a project between two best friends—shaped by wildly different worlds spanning jazz academia and professional MMA—has evolved into one of the most unpredictable forces in modern heavy music. Their sound reflects that tension: Precision meets violence, control meets collapse.

Over the past few years, the band has carved a path from Southern Hemisphere outsiders to global contenders. They've sold out headline runs across Australia and New Zealand, while stepping onto some of the biggest stages in heavy music, including Download Festival, and touring alongside genre leaders like Northlane, Thornhill, and The Plot in You. Each tour tightened their grip on an international audience that thrives on exactly this kind of forward-thinking aggression.

"Severance" captures that momentum at full speed. There's a maximalist intensity running through the track—industrial electronics colliding with downtuned riffs, hooks that feel like they've been dragged through a rave at 3 am, and a sense that everything could fall apart at any second, but never does. It's controlled destruction.

What makes Banks Arcade hit differently, though, is the intent behind it all. Born out of constant relocation, reinvention, and the kind of struggle that either breaks you or rebuilds you into something sharper, the band operates with a clear purpose: redefine what "heavy" even means in 2026.

With Arising Empire now backing the project, "Severance" isn't just a new single—it's a warning shot. Banks Arcade aren't here to join the scene. They're here to rewire it.

DONT YOU DARE Drop "I Love Misery" Video

Born from the raw concrete of Sacramento, California, DONT YOU DARE (styled without the apostrophe) are a modern rock duo fusing the intensity of nu-metal and metalcore with raw, unfiltered emotion.

Vocalist Noah Duarte, a poet-turned-frontman, joined forces with guitarist Matt English to create a sound that's both therapeutic and confrontational, and the foundation of what would become DONT YOU DARE.

The band shares the video for "I LOVE THE MISERY," because, really, who doesn't? Watch it below.

"'I LOVE THE MISERY' is the darkest song we've written to date. It's the story of isolation and self-destruction. It takes you through every emotion you could think of when you’re on that cliff about to jump, but then you ask 'Why?,'" the band states.

"'I LOVE THE MISERY' is a personal favorite of mine because every night I sing it, it allows me to let go and release those demons from years ago that still linger," shares Duarte. "It's the pause in the set, the moment everyone opens their eyes to DONT YOU DARE. This song helped me heal. It's such an amazing experience to see people who don't even know us feel that as well. It doesn't matter what walk of life you're in, everyone has felt what 'I LOVE THE MISERY' is. 'I wanna wake up' — I came up with that years ago at this point, and to this day the hook still rings true when I'm going through a rough patch. I always tell myself, 'It will never get that bad again and I put one foot in front of the other.' It's an extremely painful and dark song but the underlying message is healing so cry, scream, yell or sing. Let it all out and live in the moment. That's what 'I LOVE THE MISERY' actually is."

DYD's debut single, "S.O.S." saw the band come out swinging, generating strong momentum across streaming platforms and rapid audience growth on social media with their second single, "BLACK & BLUE," continuing that momentum. "DIE4ME" doubled the growth and got the band their debut spot on Sirius XM Octane Test Drive. "I LOVE THE MISERY" takes the emotional intensity that the band is known for, telling a story about isolation and self-destruction.

The Artery Foundation is a familiar name to hard rock fans. In 2025, the brand has rebooted and is a full service company. It's a label, artist management and producer management firm, among other things. During its 2010s heyday, the brand helped author the burgeoning metalcore scene, having been responsible for signing and breaking genre titans.

From the sweaty chaos of basements and VFW halls to the world's biggest festivals, Artery has helped guide talent from local notoriety to global recognition. The list of heavy music cornerstone acts that started with Artery speaks for itself: A Day To Remember, Motionless In White, Dance Gavin Dance, Beartooth, Sleeping With Sirens, The Amity Affliction, Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Our Last Night, Memphis May Fire, Fit For A King, The Plot In You, Attila, Attack Attack!, and more.

In 2010, the company launched Artery Recordings, a label imprint that gave rise to breakout acts like Chelsea Grin and Kublai Khan TX. As Artery continued to expand, founder Eric Rushing concurrently deepened his influence on Sacramento's music and nightlife culture. His handiwork is evident in various live venues, restaurants, and bars.

Yellowcard Recharge Their Hit Single "Bedroom Posters" With New Version Feat. Blippi

Continuing what has become the most unexpected and awesome collaboration of 2026, multi-platinum pop-punk royalty Yellowcard have joined forces with global children's education sensation Blippi to recharge and revamp their buzzing hit "Bedroom Posters" with a brand new duet version, out now via Better Noise. It's Yellowcard and Blippi's second track together, following "Go Go Go," and third recording of "Bedroom Posters."

Listen to "Bedroom Posters" (Feat. Blippi) here and watch the video below

This iteration of the track maintains the energy of the original, yet Blippi brings his own magic to the party. He has retrofitted the tune with a fresh and family-friendly perspective, flipping lyrics like "Tear down my bedroom posters" to "Look at my bedroom posters" and soaring with the band on a sky-high chant of "Airplanes and rollercoasters." Together, they also excitedly continue the "Year of Vehicles," extending the celebration of the vehicles kids dig the most — from race cars and monster trucks to excavators and everything in between.

It's the ultimate pop-punk anthem for the kids and mom and dad!

About the track, Yellowcard's Ryan Key said, "My favorite part about this process was handing over an instrumental version of 'Bedroom Posters' to the Blippi team and letting them completely re-write the lyrics. I had the idea that this feature could be perfect because of the concept of posters on kids' walls. I think they nailed it and this is hopefully going to inspire a generation of new little rockers!

Regarding the accompanying video, he states, "It was so fun to make. I think it pushed us all out of our comfort zones a little, and at this stage of our career, that usually leads to an amazing outcome. For me, as a first-time dad of a 2-year-old who is already showing signs of being very musical, I think this is going to be a really special way for him to connect with my music and see me doing what I love. I hope that energy is what other parents find when they are watching and listening to this with their kids."

Blippi said, "Music is one of my favorite ways to play and collaborate, so teaming up with my friends in Yellowcard was a blast! We turned 'Bedroom Posters' into a version that kids and families can sing, dance, and laugh along with. I can't wait for everyone to hear it!"

As mentioned, "Bedroom Posters" follows hot on the heels of Yellowcard's appearance on Blippi's "Go Go Go." The collab caught the attention of Billboard, praising how the track "introduces pop-punk to a new generation just in time for Yellowcard's comeback."

Yellowcard's "Bedroom Posters" has quietly emerged as a staple with millions of streams and views as well being the current radio single featuring Good Charlotte; it's landed at No. 5 on the Alternative Radio Charts. Beyond looks from Alternative Press Magazine, Rock Sound, and more, Consequence applauded how "the song finds Yellowcard singer Ryan Key trading vocals with Good Charlotte’sJoel Madden," while Rolling Stone put it best, "It’s the collaboration made in pop-punk dreams."

Meanwhile, Yellowcard are set to embark on their eagerly awaited headline run, "Up Up Down Down Tour," across the US. The stacked bill features special guests New Found Glory and Plain White T's. This run kicks on May 6 at Atlanta's Coca-Cola Roxy, visits major cities such as Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Nashville, and New York, and concludes on June 17 at Boston's Leader Bank Pavilion.

HEY THANKS. RETURN WITH SOPHOMORE ALBUM AVOIDANCE ALBUM ARRIVES JULY 3 VIA IODINE RECORDINGS BAND SHARES "RECOLLECTION"

hey thanks. have returned — and with a darker, more deliberate sound.

Blending post-punk and new wave influences, their sophomore full-length, Avoidance, reflects on time, identity, and the weight of isolation.

The album will arrive July 3 via Iodine Recordings. Pre-order or pre-save it here.

Today, the band shares the moody, new wave and '80s-influenced single "Recollection." Listen Below":

"Lyrically, this song is an expression of trying to understand the difference between love and desire," says singer Travis Opal. "The feeling of fulfillment that certain social and romantic relationships can give a person, etching them into feeling a sense of community and/or belonging. But trying to understand where that intent comes from within."

As for the song itself, Opal shares, "The production was created using a lot of the live drum samples we made and fiddling with live percussion and guitar performances. Blending that in with a wide array of synth landscapes that we recorded in our home studio."

Overall, Avoidance finds hey thanks. stepping back from trying to explain everything and sitting in the uncertainty instead.

Across these songs, nothing fully resolves. Moments repeat, thoughts loop, and meaning stays just out of reach. It lives in that in-between space, caught between experience and understanding.

As mentioned by Opal, Avoidance was recorded in their home studio. The album took shape piece by piece using live drum samples, layered percussion, guitar performances, and dense synth work, giving Avoidance its character. The band allowed the songs to unfold naturally, arriving somewhere more honest in the process.

Built on synth layers, live percussion, and bright, driving rhythms, the songs move with a steady pulse while never fully settling. There is a constant push and pull throughout, something that feels light on the surface but carries weight underneath.

Rather than offering clarity, Avoidance stays with the questions.

HEY THANKS. ARE:
Travis Opal — Vocals
Jaron Dufrene — Guitar
Trevor Lee — Drums

Swedish Gothic Doom Entity DRACONIAN Drop "Misantrophe River" Video

Swedish gothic doom metal entity DRACONIAN reveal their new single, "Misantrophe River," the second offering cut from their upcoming full-length, In Somnolent Ruin, to be released on May 8 via Napalm Records. "Misantrophe River" confronts listeners in true DRACONIAN fashion with life's hardest questions, exploring feelings of alienation when swimming against the stream, and the search for direction in unfamiliar territory.

The undisputed leaders of the second wave of gothic doom metal are finally back — and they return in better shape than ever! In Somnolent Ruin promises to be one of the most personal records in DRACONIAN's discography, revealed through a dream-like journey across 9 tracks and the poetic lyricism of vocalist Anders Jacobsson. The new album also marks the return of long-time vocalist Lisa Johansson — the band's vocalist for their first five records.

Ander Jacobsson about the new single:
"'Misanthrope River' was the first song written for this album. The initial idea goes back to the early days of Under a Godless Veil, but it remained dormant until work on this record began. It's an emotional gothic doom track- fairly minimalist, yet expansive in feel, with subtle touches that hint at post-metal and give the atmosphere a broader sense of depth. There's a suggestion of something ancient and mysterious running through it. Although interactive, at its core, the song deals with separation and isolation in a world where the larger truth has been kept from you and how those feelings slowly turn into resentment. You're pushing against the current wading upstream while doubting the way forward. In that struggle you'll be grasping at straws for any sense of peace while unintentionally shutting out the one closest to you. Shot in the Faroe Islands, the video places its actors within vast, striking landscapes. It was directed by Gaui H., the same director behind 'Cold Heavens.'"

Pre-Order Your Copy of In Somnolent Ruin  NOW!

In Somnolent Ruin captures the essence of a band that no longer needs to prove anything — and yet still does. Active since the mid-1990s and having released their debut album, Where Lovers Mourn, in 2003, DRACONIAN have continuously demonstrated their unmatched ability to craft otherworldly doom melodies and searing heavy instrumentation, complemented by lyrics that read like poetry. Their art cuts deep, compelling listeners to confront their inner demons, wander through the darkest shadows, and even embrace emotional numbness, only to emerge with a sense of inner peace. This album confronts listeners with life's hardest questions, exploring feelings of alienation and the search for direction in unfamiliar territory.

In Somnolent Ruin’s journey begins with "I Welcome Thy Arrow," which captivates from the very first seconds through haunting melodies and a vocal interplay that embodies fragility and strength alike. Tracks such as "The Monochrome Blade" and "The Face of God" introduce increased tempo and eruptive vocal dynamics. "Anima" features Swedish artist Daniel Änghede, adding layers of emotional depth and confronting listeners with their darker impulses, capturing the sense of being lost and questioning one's place in the world. "Asteria Beneath the Tranquil Sea" serves as a transitional interlude between "I Gave You Wings" and "Cold Heavens", the latter exploring the delicate balance between life and death and not finding relief in any of both, while delivering the album's most intense vocal performance. "Misanthrope River" opens with an extended instrumental passage and narration by Simon Bibby, slowing the tempo but by no means reducing the emotional weight, reflecting life’s daily struggles and obstacles. The closing track, "Lethe," references the river of forgetfulness in Greek mythology. Those who drank from it would lose all memory. "Oh, shooting star… Drown in me! Drink. Forget. Repeat," mourns Jacobsson through devilish growls. And yet, In Somnolent Ruinremains a work of art one wishes not to forget — not a single blink of an eye.

Lord Of The Lost Release New Single + Final Video "The Days Of Our Live" | Album Trilogy Finale "OPVS NOIR Vol. 3" Out 4/10

LORD OF THE LOST show their emotional side and present the final video of the OPVS NOIR trilogy with the music video for their single "The Days Of Our Lives," unveiled today. With the release of OPVS NOIR Vol. 3 this Friday, April 10, the band concludes the album trilogy that began in the summer of 2025. "The Days Of Our Lives" is a soulful and seemingly hopeless ballad, situated somewhere between a soundtrack and cold electronica, and, as the closing track, serves as the curtain call for the entire work.

With nearly half a million listeners on Spotify, their appearance at the Eurovision final in 2023, followed by a number-one album and international tours with Iron Maiden, LORD OF THE LOST are proving themselves to be one of the most exciting and successful acts on the scene right now. OPVS NOIR Vol. 3 represents the creative peak of a band whose repertoire leaves no room for stagnation. The year started with shows in the USA, Canada, and Australia, and now continues with a headline run across Europe. All tour dates are noted below.

Watch the official music video for "The Days Of Our Lives" Below:

The most out-of-the-box of the full album trilogy, OPVS NOIR Vol. 3, the third and final chapter of LORD OF THE LOST's latest journey, sees the six-piece close this era on a fulminant high note, intertwining heavy guitars and dark electronica with compassionate messages and cinematic orchestrations. It continues to push the band’s unpredictable path without settling for the familiar. Rounding off this impressive work, the album takes listeners by the hand and guides them through their darkest paths.

Get your copy of OPVS NOIR Vol. 3 NOW — first formats are already sold out!

Following the captivating BLOOD & GLITTER, which brought them to the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and a #1 chart entry in their native Germany to go along with it, LORD OF THE LOST once again demonstrate their unmatched diversity on OPVS NOIR Vol. 3. Initiated by beautiful cello melodies, "Kill The Lights" is an overture like no other, setting a dark mood, but also unafraid to switch it up to make room for catchy and reassuring "I'm A Diamond." Stomping "I Hate People" invites horror punk icon WEDNESDAY 13 to an industrial duet about equality, after which gentle "The Shadows Within" hits twice as hard with its symphonic arrangement.

Next, Chris Harms and parting KISSIN’ DYNAMITE frontman Hannes Braun deliver "La Vie Est Hell," before going back to "Square One." "When Did The Love Break?" is a heartfelt song of lost love – the addition of whimsical vocals by Ambre Vourvahis of XANDRIA drives the emotions of this universal topic right home. After "Your Love Is Colder Than Death," LORD OF THE LOST team up with Damien Edwards of British glam rock band CATS IN SPACE for the captivating duet "Take Me Far Away", before the album closes with a ballad, "The Days Of Our Lives" – the sweeping track simultaneously being the closest LORD OF THE LOST have ever been to a cinematic soundtrack. The happy ending is skipped, almost making it sound like a goodbye…

OPVS NOIR Vol. 3: the trilogy is finally concluded.

LORD OF THE LOST ARE:
Chris Harms – Gesang, Gitarre
Pi Stoffers – Gitarre
Benjamin "Benji" Mundigler – Gitarre, Synths

Mimi Barks Drops "Dreamstate of Hell" Video — WATCH // Touring The U.S. This Spring

Mimi Barks returns with her brand new single and video, "Dreamstate Of Hell," a dark and emotionally charged statement that opens the next chapter of her DOOM TRAP world. Rooted in the collision of metal, industrial energy, and trap, the track feels raw, urgent, and deeply personal, pushing further into the tension, grit, and truth that have come to define her sound. Co-written and produced by Ruben Cardenas of SMLE, and mixed once again by Owen Claxton, who also mixed Mimi's album This Is Doom Trap and has worked with Bring Me The Horizon and MOSKITO, "Dreamstate Of Hell" arrives with a striking new video directed, produced and filmed by Death Tour singer Demi Yo'Ko and Mimi Barks in her new neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles.

With its late-night, surreal visuals and a constant sense of motion, fire, and collapse, the video mirrors the unrest at the heart of the song and marks the beginning of Mimi's darkest and most focused era yet.

Listen to "DREAMSTATE OF HELL." Watch the video below.

"Sometimes it feels like the world is slipping into a dreamstate of hell and most people do not even realize they are asleep inside it," Barks says. "Everywhere I look, I see noise, decay, violence, distraction, and now war becoming part of the daily landscape again."

She continues, "But to me, heaven and hell are not places waiting for us when we die. They're states of consciousness we create every day while we are here in the flesh. The real question is what you choose to feed: the poison or the light."

She finishes, "'Dreamstate Of Hell' was the first song I wrote after moving to Los Angeles, and it became the starting point for everything that followed. It is also the first single from my upcoming EP, Dreamstate of Fear."

From the underground scenes of Berlin and London to major stages across the UK and Europe, Mimi Barks has built a sound and identity entirely her own. Her brand new EP will be released in Summer 2026 on her own label imprint — DEATHKISS Records. Later this year, Mimi will make her U.S. touring debut on a 26-date run with Little Miss Nasty and GG Magree. She will then head back to Europe for dates with Wargasm, before wrapping up that run with her own UK tour in September.

Mimi Barks is touring the U.S. this spring as part of the DEADDOLLZ TOUR 2026 with Little Miss Nasty and GG Margie. The tour kicks off on April 8 in Salt Lake City and runs through May 10 in San Diego. Get tickets here.

It marks her first time crashing domestic shores.

"This tour announcement feels surreal," the artist states. "My debut appearance in the U.S. has been a long time coming. The flock has been asking for this moment for a minute, and I've been manifesting it long before that. Joining Little Miss Nasty on the DeadDollz Tour 2026 alongside GG Magree is proof that when you stay focused and trust the process, things unfold in their own divine timing."

MIMI BARKS ON TOUR:
WITH LITTLE MISS NASTY + GG MAGREE:

The Barbarians of California Serve Up "Vanilla Latte" Video

The Barbarians Of California, featuring Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION and Eric Stenman of Tinfed and a noted producer, remain equal opportunity iconoclasts, gleefully thrashing the left and the right in the hardcore-punk tradition of nonconformity and raw fury. VICE summed up the band simply and effectively, saying: "They're so f**king good." #Facts

TBOC's raucous and DGAF spirit is evident in their explosive new single "Vanilla Latte." Watch the frenetic video, featuring ships and Shaq, and marked by the band's trademark, never-take-yourself-too-seriously sense of humor, below

"For 'Vanilla Latte,' we dip back into our thrashy side with the usual dose of sarcasm and irreverence," shares Stenman. "The music video for this one has to be my favorite yet. It was shot entirely during our time on the ShipRocked cruise... so much fun!"

Earlier this year, TBOC shared the roaring new single "Bomb To A Knife Fight." Watch the video here.
The band will also embark on several dates supporting Poison the Well and Converge in May, as well as booking two opening dates for Guns N' Roses later this summer.

Sueco Drops Video for New Single "Enemy" Feat. Blackbear

Platinum-certified singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Sueco walks the line between musical styles fearlessly and without a net. Emerging from the first wave of digitally native breakout artists, he initially garnered widespread attention with a string of viral releases and RIAA-certified records, establishing himself as a versatile songwriter with cross-genre appeal. Since then, he has deliberately redefined his artistic direction, positioning himself at the forefront of a new generation of alternative artists bridging rock, punk, and metal influences with contemporary production.

He dropped the video for his new single "ENEMY," featuring blackbear.

Watch it Below:

"Enemy" unites Sueco and blackbear for a powerful alt-rock collaboration designed for immediate impact in both the rock and alternative worlds. It's the ultimate banger — boasting glitchy electronics, an explosive breakdown, and undeniable chemistry between the participants.

Prior to "Enemy," Sueco unleashed "REARRANGING SCARS," his smash metal hit for the official Scream 7 soundtrack. Its placement within one of the most commercially successful installments of the iconic horror franchise further amplified its cultural impact, as Scream 7 delivered a standout global box office performance and ranked among the series' top openings.

With a new full-length project forthcoming, Sueco is entering a defining chapter of his career. He has global tour plans through 2027, which will be revealed in due course. As he continues to refine and scale his sound, Sueco stands poised to solidify his position within the modern rock landscape and extend his reach across both alternative and mainstream audiences. Outlets like Nylon, Billboard, and Rolling Stone have already taken note.

Sueco is only just getting started...

Defects Unleash Raw Fury On New Single "Artificial Icons"

Defects reveal their brand-new single "Artificial Icons," which boils over with rage on a world run by control and lies, and announce changes within the band.

Watch the lyric video for "Artificial Icons" below.

Following on from themes touched upon on their debut album, "Artificial Icons" tackles wider socio-political issues. It's about zooming out on the world, noticing manipulation, and refusing to stand by.

It's a volatile mix of crushing riffs, thunderous breakdowns, and soaring choruses, surging between savage screams and anthemic vocals, pushing and pulling between chaos and clarity. The lyrics scream, "Oppress and pretend that this is all to protect, build back better, what the fuck do you mean, you wanna start a revolution that we don't even see."

The song holds particular clarity in the world's political climate of 2026. Singer Tony Maue says, "Look around. I wanted to write a song that pushes you to think outside the box. I was faced with religious teachings when I was younger. I felt fear, I felt rage, and I wanted to fight back. Believe in what you choose, not in what others force on you for their own agendas, profit or control."

"Artificial Icons" follows their previous new single, "Heresy" — a brutal confrontation with blind faith and false hope. This is their first new music since the release of 2024's "Modern Error."

When their debut album was released, it connected with metal fans around the globe. Momentum surged as they hit the road hard, sweeping across Europe with Trivium, Northlane, Of Mice and Men, Orbit Culture, and Funeral for a Friend. Their festival checklist was a monster exercise: Download (UK), Slam Dunk (UK), Mystic Festival (Poland), Rock Im Park/Rock Am Ring (Germany), Impericon Festival (Germany), Rockharz (Germany), Summer Breeze Open Air (Germany), Rock for the People (Czech Republic), Jera On Air (The Netherlands), Graspop (Belgium), and Parkpop (Belgium).

In late summer 2025, they reached a fork in the road. Harry Jennings (Drums), Luke Genders (Guitar), and David Silver (Bass) chose to step back and focus on new life chapters. Together with Maue, they co-wrote new music as a parting gift and legacy, leaving their mark as they departed.

Maue and guitarist James Threadwell continue the band. "It was incredibly tough. They're my friends. I love those guys to pieces. When we wrote together, there was a real bond," Maue says, before adding, "There were moments when I didn't know how to piece this together to walk forward."

While this moment is bittersweet, they're stepping into a new era with a new lineup: Tony Maue (vocals), James Threadwell (guitar), Taylor Brown (guitar), and Rowan Jack (frums), bringing a renewed focus and the same fire that has always driven them forward.

"Artificial Icons" will continue to light the path. "I can't give up. I've given up before. I know what that looks like, and I'm not doing that again," says Maue.

ALICE COOPER INTRODUCES NEW GUITARIST ANNA CARA

Alice Cooper has introduced British guitarist Anna Cara in place of his longtime guitarist Nita Strauss, who announced earlier this year that she was taking a break to welcome her first child this summer.

22-year-old Anna, from Newcastle, England, has previously worked with Marc Storace (from the Swiss band Krokus) and Tommy Henriksen (guitarist with both Alice and the Hollywood Vampires). She has built an Instagram following with her videos.

Anna will make her debut April 2-4 with Alice at his special "Welcome To Our Nightmare" shows in Las Vegas. These unique shows are a collaboration with illusionist Criss Angel and take place in his theatre at Planet Hollywood.

Alice has his U.S. "Alice's Attic" tour April 14 through May 9, and then returns to Las Vegas May 22-24 for three more "Welcome To Our Nightmare" shows with Criss Angel.

Keeping his usual busy schedule, Alice then has a European "Alice's Attic" tour June 13-July 12, and promises more shows in the fall.

Said Alice, "Nita found a brilliant British female guitarist to fill in for her while she is on maternity leave. Anna Cara is a beautiful dynamic shredder in the vein of Nita but with a style of her own. She will fit in with our gang perfectly while Nita is away and we can't wait for the sick things to meet her. Welcome to the show, Anna!"

Anna, for her part, said, "This is like a dream come true, to join Alice and his great band. Back when I started playing guitar at 14, I was watching Alice Cooper live shows on YouTube dreaming of joining one day! Nita Strauss is a tough act to follow, and she's been so encouraging to me this past month, so I am looking forward to showing everyone who I am and what I can do."

Nita said, "When I was asked in an interview who I thought was the best up and coming guitarist, I had no hesitation in answering 'Anna Cara.' Anna's precision and soulful, emotional playing will make her an amazing asset to the Cooper tour! Working with Alice for 12 years has been the experience of a lifetime and I look forward to seeing you all back on the road (with a +1 along for the ride!) Until that time comes, I know that the show is in good hands and the fans are in for a treat!"

Nervosa Share New Single"Impending Doom" — LISTEN // New Album "Slave Machine" Out 4/3!

Metal heroines NERVOSA unleash the opening track to their upcoming album, Slave Machine, as a third single. "Impending Doom" builds up menacingly, using thunderous riffs and speedy drums to share sinister social observations and establish the women's dominance in the scene. Produced by Martin Furia of German thrash legends DESTRUCTION, "Impending Doom" blends old-school power with a modern twist, showcasing NERVOSA's view into the future. The accompanying album Slave Machine will be out this Friday, April 3, via Napalm Records.

NERVOSA about "Impending Doom":
"Dark vibes with epic sensation, a very powerful song to introduce our new album, which marks a big step in our career."

Watch the Official Music Video for "Impending Doom" Below:

NERVOSA unleashe another round of fury on their new album, Slave Machine, out April 3 via Napalm Records. Their sixth album shows the Brazilian modern thrash metal band releasing their inner beasts at staggering speed and with formidable emphasis. Having performed at the biggest metal festivals worldwide, from Wacken to Hellfest, and making a lasting impression on fans and critics alike, NERVOSA aim to consolidate their standing as genre frontrunners. With founding guitarist Prika Amaral established as their new singer with their previous record, Jailbreak (2023), they tear through the scene with the force of a sledgehammer.

NERVOSA erupt as a metal volcano with their latest record. Never settling, always exploring, one staggering riff after another, Slave Machine is a crushing statement — it comes, sees, and conquers.

NERVOSA about Slave Machine:
"Slave Machine is the most brutal and melodic album of NERVOSA, and we are proud to take this step further, keeping our roots."

Get Your Copy Of Slave Machine NOW!

12 new songs show the five-piece exploring their crushing style in an enhanced way. Opener "Impending Doom" builds up menacingly, using thunderous riffs and jagged drums to establish the women’s dominance in the scene. The title track, "Slave Machine," instantly turns up the speed and adds a surprising alternative bridge to the already catchy chorus, showing a slightly different side of the metal powerhouses. The follower "Ghost Notes" unleashes a storm of heavy, yet easily recognizable riffs, driven by impelling drums and the ever-so furious vocals of Prika Amaral, crowned by an astounding guitar solo. Through "Beast Of Burden," NERVOSA show their harshest side, while "You Are Not A Hero" offers a grand chorus, gifting Slave Machine a true anthem. "Hate" unfolds with raw brutality, and “The New Empire” looks for destruction with melodic precision. "30 Seconds" rises up to new heights, while "Crawl For Your Pride" combines NERVOSA's trademark social criticism with gut-punching songwriting. Throughout "Learn Or Repeat" and "The Call," the band once again sprinkles in some pieces of modern groove with old-school vibes before Slave Machine rears up one final time on the threateningly sinister "Speak In Fire."

The Artery Foundation Signs SAGE + Bands Shares "Deep End" Video

THE ARTERY FOUNDATION is proud to welcome SAGE to its global roster.

To celebrate the partnership, the band has shared the video for new single "DEEP END." Watch it below.

SAGE, who hail from the fertile musical grounds of New Jersey, were founded in 2023. Comprised of vocalist Mike Rafter, vocalist and guitarist James Benedetto, guitarist Chris Coletti, and drummer Nick Perrone, the members connected over a shared passion for timeless rock with a more modern energy and quickly forged a sound that feels both nostalgic and new.

That connection is evidenced in "Deep End."

"'Deep End' is really about breaking free from someone who keeps trying to pull you back into their chaos," says Benedetto. "It's about setting boundaries, standing your ground, and reclaiming your power after being hurt. It uses that 'deep end' metaphor to represent consequences. At some point, you have to let people face the tide on their own in order to learn. We actually flew out to L.A. to work with producer Hiram Hernandez, and that experience took the band's sound to a whole different level. He helped bring so many ideas to life and really pushed us to be our best selves when writing. We're pumped on what we created together."

In 2024, SAGE released their debut EP, Heartwired, marking a major milestone in the band's journey. The EP showed off the band's natural talent in songwriting, helping to expand their audience and build momentum throughout the scene. It also introduced listeners to their unique blend of heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and heartfelt lyrics, proving that they are a band to look out for.
Looking to spread positivity and good vibes through their music, SAGE aim to remind the world of the healing power of music and the importance of self expression. With high energy live performances and a genuine connection to their fans, the band continues to grow, evolve, and make their mark.

Plume Dros Brand New Single "Furious Icon"

There's a certain kind of momentum you don't fake, and right now, PLUME are moving like a band that's already outgrown the room.

With their new single "Furious Icon," the rising emo force sharpen their edges and lean further into the tension that's been building across their previous releases. Where earlier tracks hinted at their range, this one locks in — urgent, restless, and wired with the kind of energy that feels one step away from spiraling out.

Watch the video below:

PLUME's recent singles didn't just introduce them; they established a pattern. Each drop pushed a little further, sonically and visually, pulling more people into their orbit, without ever feeling calculated. That same instinct carries through "Furious Icon" — controlled chaos with intent behind it.

There's no attempt here to smooth things out or play it safe. The track thrives on contrast: jagged and melodic, immediate but layered enough to keep revealing new details on repeat listens. It's the sound of a band figuring out exactly how far they can push their identity — and then going past it anyway.

If the earlier singles were the signal, "Furious Icon" is the confirmation. Plume aren't arriving quietly — and they're definitely not slowing down.

Saint Agnes Unleash "The Ghost" Video

London's Saint Agnes drag you onto the dancefloor with new single "The Ghost," a blood-rush of punk-industrial beats and midnight euphoria. It's the fourth glimpse into their forthcoming album, Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin, and their most immediate collision of vulnerability and physicality yet.

Watch the video Below.

Frontperson Kitty A. Austen explains, "I wrote this song about often feeling like I disappear, I become invisible in certain settings, certain situations. Words fail me and I merge into the background. I envisioned dancing surrounded by people but feeling completely on my own. It's the soundtrack to a hot, sweaty night in a vampire nightclub, the blood rave just before dawn. Euphoria washes over the bodies as the dark driving beats pulsate through the club. We've turned my sadness into a banger and now I can dance to it."

It's a track that turns isolation into movement, a solitary experience reframed as something communal and physical.

Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin is due for release on May 29 via Spinefarm.

Pre-order the record HERE.

Kitty's voice, vision and volatility shape every inch of the band's evolving world. At its core is her creative partnership with Jon James Tufnell, a relationship defined by tension, trust, and a shared commitment to building something immersive and all-consuming.

Drawing from the intensity of Nine Inch Nails, the genre-bending chaos of Poppy and the euphoric, cinematic storytelling of Lorde, Saint Agnes make music for bodies in motion, where confessional lyrics, raw guitar and pulsing beats collide in something both confrontational and rapturous.

Self-confessed "control freaks," the band obsessively curate every aspect of their work. This time, they pushed further, bringing in mixer Jim Pinder (Sleep Token, Bring Me The Horizon) to sharpen the impact of their production without compromising their vision. The result is their most direct and fully realized record to date.

Having recently played shows with Last Train (in France), Ghostkid (in Germany), Vukovi (in the UK) and a well-received performance at SXSW (in the US) Saint Agnes are now out on the UK road again, with INME.

ABOUT SAINT AGNES:
Saint Agnes have built a loyal following through two EPs, two critically acclaimed albums, and over 12 million Spotify streams. Backed by BBC Radio 1 support and explosive sets at Download, 2000trees and Hellfest, they've proven their power live, including sold-out headline shows across the UK and Europe.

SAINT AGNES ARE:
Kitty A. Austen — Vocals, Guitar
Jon James Tufnell — Vocals, Guitar, Synths, Programming

Roadrunner Welcomes TheBoyShadow to Roster + Band Shares "Give Me a Seam & I'll Show You the Meaning" Video

ROADRUNNER RECORDS is pleased to welcome THEBOYSHADOW to the roster.

Today, the band, featuring former Loathe guitarist Connor Sweeney, has shared the video for the sonically ultraviolent new single "GIVE ME A SEAM & I'LL SHOW YOU THE MEANING."

It's two minutes of raw fury — like steel gnashing against steel, punctuated by moody dynamics mid-song.

Watch it below.

THEBOYSHADOW has been a work in progress for the past four years, where the artist turned introspection into fuel for his art. He processed his demons and was able to funnel them into the songs, surrounded by fellow artists who feel like family.

TheBoyShadow also announced its first-ever live performance. It is set for Camden Assembly in London on April 6.
