Amulets, created by Portland-based audio/visual artist Randall Taylor, has unveiled their new single "Coiled," featuring multi-instrumentialist Patrick Shiroishi. This is the second taken from new EP Rem(a)inders, out 10th April via Pelagic Records.

Against a hazy analogue backdrop, ambient guitars reverberate and echo through the sonic landscape, creating a sensation of weightlessness that is both calming and unsettling. Melancholic and soaring, "Black Sheep" evokes a presence of isolation and longing in the emptiness. Through patient unfolding, this minimalist, poignant atmosphere raises in intensity, deliberate in its unhurried movement, leaving room for each sound to breathe, evolve, and fade into the next.
Amulets' new album Rema(i)nders marks his debut on Pelagic Records, a fitting home for a record that thrives in the liminal space between heaviness and fragility. Deeply immersive, the album navigates the dreamy boundaries between the tangible and the ethereal, where sound behaves as memory itself: unstable, layered, and quietly transformative.
Randall Taylor's work uses analog tape and its imperfections to explore themes like degradation and nostalgia and their relationship to technology and to the self. By constructing and modifying tape loops and repurposing antiquated cassette players, Taylor creates dense, never-ending, looping soundscapes for both his live performances and sculptural sound art installations.
Known for his ability to weave soundscapes that evoke powerful emotions with minimalistic instrumentation, Taylor’s newest project is a masterful exploration of mood, atmosphere, and texture.
Taylor commented: "Rema(i)nders started as a fragmented collection of songs, memories, ideas, and feelings that I wanted to mash and warp together beyond recognition. What I ended up creating was a beautiful mosaic of texture and light in this darkening world. To remain is to remind. To remind is to remain."
Exodus Ignite Chaos With Third Single "Promise You This" Video
Bay Area Thrash metal pioneers EXODUS are about to release their new single "Promise You This" the final single taken from their new album Goliath .Fueled by cyclonic riffs, ferocious energy and turbocharged soloing from guitar icon and main songwriter Gary Holt, the track channels the band’s unrelenting power and marks another fierce showcase of Rob Dukes' commanding return. EXODUS prove once again that their thrash supremacy remains untouchable, after shaping the genre for almost half a century.
Even over 40 years after their debut, EXODUS are steadfast in their refusal to settle for the safety of mediocrity and continue to forge their trademark just as resolutely as they did in their fruition. The band's highly anticipated 12th studio album is their most multifaceted offering so far, featuring several epic collaborations and marking the return of Rob Dukes as lead vocalist. Secure your copy of Goliath now and check out the music video for the title track below!
EXODUS on "Promise You This":
"Promise You This" is one of our favorite songs on the new record, it’s just heavy as fuck but rocks just as hard. The song was inspired by some of the life lessons learned from my father and how long it took me to really listen."
Goliath wastes no time proving as massive as its name, with a sinister introduction opening "3111." Ode to owning one’s own volatility "Hostis Humani Generis" features a palpable lyrical delivery from Rob Dukes that cuts like crystal amid frenetic riffs, before rolling into "The Changing Me." The track’s introductory notes cascade into hair-raising rhythms, forming one of the band’s most anthemic offerings – blending menace and melody with the cleans of guest Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) together with Tom Hunting and at the end both Peter and Robb scream off the song. Harmonic dual axe acrobatics from resident guitar legends Gary Holt and Lee Altus. "Promise You This" incites mosh pit treachery with explosive energy, cyclonic riffs and turbocharged soloing from Holt and Altus. Tracks like "Beyond The Event Horizon" and "2 Minutes Hate" provide EXODUS' trademark deadly dose of thrash theatricality – the latter boasting one of the album’s most grimacing, grooving pit primers – while undeniably 90s-tinged metallic charm attacks alongside drummer Tom Hunting and bassist Jack Gibson’s unmistakable rhythmic rage on tracks like "Violence Works." The nearly eight-minute epic "Summon Of The God Unknown" turns the danger dial to max capacity, setting the stage with a wicked introductory passage before traversing a variegated passage of trudging riffs and heavy metal melody. Power packed closer "The Dirtiest Of The Dozen" wraps the album on a manic high, showcasing EXODUS pulling out all the stops on all instruments. Flurried dueling solos, an isolated bass excursion, rigorous drum dexterity and a blend of both gritty vocal passages and cutting chants combine to serve as yet another prime example of the band’s ever-evolving musical mastery.
Produced by EXODUS, mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Nile, Undeath), Goliath beams with the explosive authenticity that has set EXODUS eons apart from their peers since the release of their debut, 1985’s groundbreaking thrash blueprint Bonded By Blood. 40 years later, EXODUS are steadfast in their refusal to settle for the safety of mediocrity, fearing nothing and no one and continuing to forge their trademark just as resolutely as they did in their fruition.
EXODUS on the new album Goliath:
"Are we excited for this record? That’s an understatement. We put everything we had into this record (and it’s 80 percent complete follow up, but we’ll save that conversation for another day!) and it’s one of our proudest accomplishments. Wildly collaborative, the most band centric album to date with four songs written by Lee, lyrics by Gary, Rob, Lee and Tom, and just killer all the way around. The time to let the monster loose is coming! Bow Down!"

Infected Rain Release Video For New Single "Stranger"
Moldovan modern metal force Infected Rain have released the official music video for their brand new single "Stranger." The track offers the first glimpse into the band's upcoming musical chapter and marks the beginning of a new creative phase for the group as it continues to evolve its sound.
Built around themes of identity, transformation, and inner conflict, "Stranger" dives deep into the moment of realizing you no longer fully recognize the person you have become, pairing introspective lyrics with driving rhythms and the band’s sharp, modern metal edge.
Vocalist Lena Scissorhands explains the inspiration behind the song: "'Stranger' came from the moment when you realize you don't fully recognize yourself anymore. It's an inward fight with identity, with the roles you've worn for too long, and the distance that grows between who you are and who you think you should be. In the end, it's about becoming strangers to ourselves, and trying to find the way back."
The release arrives just days before the band hits the road for the "Mutation Phase" tour across Europe and the UK, co-headlining alongside Butcher Babies. Kicking off on March 25 in Glasgow, the tour will bring the band's explosive live show to audiences across the continent, featuring a mix of fan favorites and brand new material!
Stream "Stranger" here.
The official music video Below:
Speaking about the new single and the band's current direction, Infected Rain comment, "'Stranger' is part of the Mutation Phase Infected Rain is entering right now. It's the sound of Infected Rain pushing forward, leaving comfort behind, and stepping into something sharper and more direct. This song belongs in the setlist for the upcoming EU and U.S. tours because it represents what the band is becoming. The album is still in progress, but we're proud of where it’s heading and wanted to share a first taste of the next record with everyone already now."
Formed in Chișinău, Moldova, Infected Rain have become one of the most distinctive and rapidly rising acts in modern heavy music. Fronted by the charismatic and powerful Lena Scissorhands, the band blends elements of modern metal, metalcore, nu-metal and alternative influences into an intense and emotional sonic identity.
Over the past decade, the band has built a global following through relentless touring and a series of acclaimed releases, including albums such as Endorphin, 86, Ecdysis, and TIME. Known for their explosive live performances and emotionally charged songwriting, Infected Rain have appeared on major international festival stages and toured extensively across Europe and North America.
With new music on the horizon and a new album currently in progress, the band now enters what they call their "Mutation Phase" — a period of transformation that pushes their sound into even sharper and more direct territory while maintaining the raw intensity that has defined their impressive career.

Back in 2012, Great American Ghost rose up out of the Northeast with an undeniable and unpredictable signature style. They quietly progressed over the course of Everyone Leaves [2015], Hatred Stems From The Seed [2017], and Power Through Terror [2020] (named one of RIFF's 60 Best Metal Albums of 2020), while tallying millions of streams. Leveling up, 2022's Torture World EP earned widespread acclaim. NO ECHO christened it "a 4-song EP as brutal as its title suggests," and V13 raved, "It may only be four tracks long but every single one of these fourteen savage minutes will absolutely maul you to within an inch of your life." Along the way, they toured with everyone from The Ghost Inside to Alpha Wolf and Fit For A King. Signing to Sharptone Records, they hit the studio with producer Will Putney and crafted Tragedy Of The Commons, which arrived in early 2025.
Plume Release "!REAL SPIRIT!" Video
PLUME don’t ease into a release — they make an entrance you can't ignore.
With "!REAL SPIRIT! Caught On Tape," the emo/alternative force push things further into their own lane — raw, unfiltered, and wired with a kind of restless energy that refuses to sit still. It's chaotic in the right places, intentional where it needs to be, and carried by a pulse that feels more like a moment than just a song.
Following the impact of their previous release "Digital Waterboarding," the band double down on everything that made people pay attention in the first place — but sharper, louder, and more defined.
Freshly signed to Arising Empire, PLUME aren't here to follow what's already happening around them. There's a new wave forming — rougher around the edges, more expressive, less predictable — and "!REAL SPIRIT! Caught On Tape" sits right at the center of it. Not by calculation, but by instinct.
Blending emo sensibilities with alternative grit and a visual identity shaped by distortion, nostalgia and digital overload, the band create something that feels immediate and alive. It’s not polished for comfort — it's built to leave a mark.
PLUME are stepping in at full speed.
And this is only the first signal.
Lost In Hollywood Present Their Self-Titled Album
Lost In Hollywood don't arrive with a debut — they crash into it.
Their self-titled record "Lost In Hollywood" isn't an introduction. It's a statement carved out of momentum, built on the back of a run of singles that didn't just perform — they connected. Track by track, the band turned heads, pulled listeners in, and quietly built something real. No shortcuts, no overnight hype — just steady growth that now reflects in over 130,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone.
At the center of it all sits "Ghost In The Water."
Not a centerpiece by accident, but by weight. The kind of track that doesn’t ask for attention — it holds it. Tension-driven, immersive, and cutting deeper with every second, it captures exactly where Lost In Hollywood stand right now: Confident, refined, and fully locked into their identity.
The self-titled album pulls together everything they've been building toward — the sharp edges, the atmosphere, the hooks that linger longer than expected. It feels intentional without losing urgency. Controlled, but never safe.
Lost In Hollywood have outgrown the "next up" label.
This is the point where they arrive — and stay.
The Hu Unleash Not One, But Two Songs With "The Men" + "Warrior Chant"
It's a double dose of brand new music from Hunnu Rock pioneers The Hu.
The Gold-certified global phenomenon deliver "The Men" which is accompanied by an official music video, alongside "Warrior Chant," both out now via Better Noise Music. Listen to "The Men" here.
Watch the video Below.
Listen to "Warrior Chant" here.
Traditional Mongolian strings herald the arrival of "The Men." This organic swell gives way to a gritty and gruff groove-laden riff topped off with hypnotic vocals. The band’s signature hybrid of indigenous instrumentation, heavy-as-a-2x4 guitars, and transfixing tribal chanting makes for another essential anthem from The Hu. It’s tailor-made for an epic battle scene, climax of your favorite video game, or workout session. At the same time, it's evocative of the musicians' own tradition and heritage.
About "The Men," Galaa commented, "'The Men' is written based on Mongolian philosophy of 'Man’s Inner Spirit' or 'Хийморь' and the importance of inner strength and kindness of a man to the world. Energy of men should always be reinforced with positiveness, strength and generosity, so this song try to encapsulate that ancient wisdom and share to the rest of humanity. Lyrics are chants that guides young and old men alike to be headstrong and to have dream that cultivate goodness. We only wanted to focus on the positives that can make a man ponder about who he is in this world and wonder about how he can have positive inner spirit when listening to it. Hope our fans will be able to capture every fiber of Mongolian Man’s way of living through this song."
Then, there's "Warrior Chant." It lives up to its title with a hard-charging chorus and a tight and taut metallic soundscape. Between the horse head fiddle and instantly recognizable delivery, it immediately amplifies everything that fans have fallen in love with about the band in the first place.
Regarding "Warrior Chant," Galaa added, "'Warrior Chant' has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with and everyone who will listen and know us will say that it is 'our song.' Our third album has bit of everything, rhythm-wise, and we see that as a progress of expanding the Hunnu Rock genre... Enkush and I focused on horse head fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait and you will hear the rhythm throughout the song."
Get ready for more music from The Hu soon.
The Hu will team up with Cello Metal standouts Apocalyptica for a run of shows this May and June. The tour kicks off on May 12 in Silver Spring, MD and will take them across the country before wrapping in Anaheim, CA on June 7. Joining The Hu and Apocalyptica will be platinum-selling Finnish rock band The Rasmus.
Tickets and additional information on VIP packages available HERE
In addition to closing all shows on this tour, The Hu are celebrating the recent release of their latest single "The Real You," which is "the representation of our new album, The Hun," says Temka – Temuulen N (band's tovshuur player, throat singer). "The Real You" is one of the few songs from The Hu in which Western music components are prominent.
And in other The Hu news, the band recently appeared on the song "Pray to the Sun," featuring Declan de Barra, from the Netflix Japanese manga series One Piece. It's another instance of the band and its music connecting with passionate fandoms, as their song "Sugaan Essena" was also prominently featured in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game.

Poison the Well Drop Video for "Weeping Tones" — WATCH // "Peace in Place" Out Now
POISON THE WELL are thrilled to release PEACE IN PLACE, their first album in 16 years, via SharpTone Records. Listen and get it here.
They share the video for "Weeping Tones." Watch it here.
"There's a quiet loss of control that comes from feeling like you can't fully be yourself anymore,” offers singer Jeffrey Moreira. “When you have to shrink who you are just to avoid judgment or conflict, it starts to feel like something is being taken from you. That's what 'Weeping Tones' is about.”
He continues, "This video reflects that struggle, but it also holds onto something stronger — the one thing no one can take from you: Your ability to give your love and energy to the people who matter most. No matter how heavy the world gets, no matter how much it tries to pull you apart, you can always choose to keep walking until you reach what matters most — hold it close, and never let go."

ABOUT POISON THE WELL:
In the space of barely a breath, Poison The Well pacify fits of jarring brutality with moments of fragile beauty. Their unmistakable melodic hardcore gently dilutes the effects of trauma, betrayal, depression, and loss with hard-won wisdom and diligently earned self-acceptance. For as much force as they commit to the riffs and the breakdowns, there’s an equal amount of naked emotion encoded in their relatable hooks. At this point, they are unassumingly, yet undeniably embedded in the DNA of modern metal and hardcore. Poison The Well’s 1999 debut, The Opposite of December… A Season of Separation has claimed spots on BrooklynVegan's 15 '90s Metalcore Albums That Still Resonate Today; KERRANG!'s 21 Best U.S. Metalcore Albums of All Time; Loudwire's 25 Best Metalcore Albums of All Time; and Revolver's 10 Most Influential Metalcore Albums of All Time. Stereogumput it best, "The Opposite of December… A Season of Separation influenced a whole generation of metalcore bands." Meanwhile, 2003's You Come Before You remains regarded among Metal Hammer's 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the 21st Century and Rock Sound's 250 Greatest Albums of Our Lifetime. Despite going on hiatus following 2009's The Tropic Rot, the group's influence has only expanded over the years (as evidenced by over 100 million streams across their catalog). After touring in 2015 and 2021, they've commemorated milestone birthdays of both You Come Before You and The Opposite of December... with in-demand headline jaunts. Once again, the members felt an intense need to create as a unit. Rallying together, the guys channeled the spirit of their most celebrated material through a prism of new experience on their sixth full-length offering, Peace In Place.
Slow Degrade Share New Single "Lead Me Down" — LISTEN // Headline Tour Begins This May
After gaining buzz as a viral artist-to-watch, rising Mobile, Alabam heavy shoegaze band Slow Degrade share a brand new single entitled "Lead Me Down" out now.
Listen/Watch below.
"I wrote 'Lead Me Down' about my brother's past relationship and watching him change who he is to fit the mold of someone he thought cared for him," Shane Prickett says. "The relationship impacted my brother, and seeing him go through that really affected me. My brother, being somebody that was always so uplifting and happy, the change in character was really apparent and it hurt me to see him go through that."
To bring the track to life, Slow Degrade worked with producer Kevin DeLeon, mixer Austin Coupe [Moodring, The Devil Wears Prada, Thousand Below], and mastering engineer Chris Gehringer [Turnstile, Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots].
The song entangles spacey synths within a web of fuzzed-out distortion. Thick riffs abound, while ethereal vocals practically hover above the verses. It climaxes on a plea during the chorus "Just lead me down." The outro bridge explodes in a catharsis of screams and thudding percussion.
Confronting the complexity of a one-sided relationship, "Lead Me Down" illuminates the group's entrancing dynamics, unfiltered emotionality, and impeccable songcraft.
Next up, Slow Degrade will launch a North American headline tour this May alongside Commoner. It kicks off on May 8 at Hole In The Wall in Austin, TX, visits major markets across the Southwest and West Coast, and concludes on May 15 at Taverna in Las Vegas, NV. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below.

Following a quiet grind in Alabama scene, Slow Degrade caught fire with "Who Will Fix Me Now?" The latter surged on TikTok and reeled in over 3.46 million streams thus far as the band continues to average 216K monthly listeners on Spotify. In its wake, they ignited Who Will Fix Me Now? EP, supported Holywater on the road, and embarked on completely sold-out East Coast headline jaunt accompanied by The Missing Peace and Cheam.
"Who Will Fix Me Now?" placed Slow Degrade on the verge of a breakthrough, by going viral. Now, they represent a new vanguard of heavy shoegaze acts to rise from Alabama's fertile underground scene.
They are the face of the new alt underground in 2026.

Hardline Announce New Album "Shout" + Share "Rise Up" Video
The melodic hard rock band HARDLINE have released with "When You Came Into My Life," a new digital single and lyric video. The song is taken from the upcoming studio album Shout.
In addition to the nine songs which were composed for Shout by singer Johnny Gioeli, keyboard player Alessandro Del Vecchio, and guitarist Luca Princiotta, the cover version of the SCORPIONS classic "When You Came Into My Life" is definitely one of the biggest surprises on the new studio album.
Gioeli says, "A friend from Norway played me the song, I'd never heard it before. But it's a real smash hit, which we've recorded in typical Hardline style out of respect for the Scorpions."
The lyric video for the song is a tribute to the loss of personal animals and to neglected and abused dogs, as well as the loss of a loved one.
"Alessandro and I are great dog lovers," says Gioeli. "For a number of years now, I've flown dogs from animal shelters as a pilot, saving them from being put down because nobody wants them. On tour, we will hand out glow sticks for a small donation, which people can hold up while we play the song and think of someone they have lost and who was particularly important to them."
Watch the video Below:
Shout will be released on April 17 through Steamhammer worldwide in the following configurations:
CD DigiPak
LP, 140 g, black vinyl, padded inner sleeve, coloured insert
Exclusive CD/LP Bundles with a shirt only at the Steamhammer shop

It's HTD's first album since 2015. Pre-order it here.
They drop the video for "Oblivion." Watch it below.
"'Oblivion' is a cinematic, apocalyptic metalcore track that leans into scale and emotion," the band shares. "The song balances heaviness with atmosphere, creating a sense of finality and awe. Lyrically, 'Oblivion' tells an apocalyptic love story — grappling with loss, reconnection, and what it means to step into the void at the end of all things."

Haste The Day conjure the sound of coming full circle. The Indiana-bred band rekindles the spark at the heart of their signature style by sharpening the edges, tightening the melodies, and amplifying the scope with cinematic ambition. Haste The Day have clung to their integrity since initially emerging at the turn of the century. Following Burning Bridges [2004] and When Everything Falls [2005], Stephen made his formal debut as the group's frontman on Pressure The Hinges [2007]. The band unleashed a trio of fan favorite offerings, namely Dreamer [2008], the seminal Attack Of The Wolf King [2010], and Coward [2015]. The latter marked their second straight Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and second Top 10 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart. Along the way, they toured with everyone from Hollywood Undead to Norma Jean. Despite going dormant in 2016, they amassed tens of millions of streams and continued to resonate with an ever-expanding audience. As such, their 2023 reunion gig at the sold-out Furnace Fest was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Returning with their first full-length release in eleven years, the musicians tap into who they were and push forward together on their seventh LP, Dissenter [Solid State].

Flatwounds Release "Chain of Command" EP + Share "Inertia" Video
Albany-based up and comers FLATWOUNDS — Colin O'Hare [vocals], Matt Degnan [guitar], David Granger [bass], and Wade Coonrad [drums] — are thrilled to release their new EP Chain Of Command. It arrived today, March 20, via Blue Grape Music. Get it here.
Today, the band, which deftly combines a DNA-distinct blend of hardcore and '90s hard rock, shares the video for "Inertia."
Watch it below.
"'Inertia' was written with a sense of urgency," says O'Hare. "It's made to pull something out of you that you might not be comfortable with. But that's what it's all about."
Regarding the EP as a whole, O'Hare explained previously, "Chain of Command represents how we've evolved and matured as musicians. This is our sound. It's a little weird, dissonant, melodic, and heavy when it needs to be. The title works because most of the songs are about apathy and a lack of action. There's always a 'chain of command' in life, and it keeps you from doing what you want. It could be societal or in your head. You always have to answer to something, though."
Flatwounds are hitting the road throughout the spring and summer starting with a handful of dates with Excide, and are set to appear at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas next month. The band will also perform at the Sick New World Pre-Show with Mastodon and Melvins at The Chelsea in Las Vegas on April 24.

What would a rock 'n' roll band sound like if it was born from a basement hardcore scene? Well, it might sound a bit like Flatwounds. The Albany, NY quartet could certainly send any floor into a frenzy, yet they also write hooks addictive enough to bring an arena to its feet. Forged by a cold indie underground and even colder East Coast winters, there’s chaotic intensity underneath their concrete infectiousness. The band transfixes with bold hooks and traumatize with jarring and jagged bursts of distortion. As the story goes, Colin had a show booked for December 2022 and needed a band. Knowing one another from around town, he tagged in Wade and Matt (who brought Dave into the fold). Not only did the guys play the aforementioned gig, but they wrote what would become the 2023 Raw EP. Off the latter, "Rust" and "Fade" generated hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams. Flatwounds picked up the momentum with the Down EP and Drain EP. At the top of 2025, "Drenched" surged on TikTok, amassed 171K Spotify streams, and caught the attention of Blue Grape Music and producer Brian Robbins [Beartooth, Pierce The Veil]. Early praise poured in from Revolver, Lambgoat, Idioteq, and more. Now, their signature style firmly takes shape on their 2026 EP Chain of Command [Blue Grape Music] with grit, grime, and gusto intact.
Folk Duo Tabernis Reveals New Single "Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)" + Video
Folk duo TABERNIS channel the Middle Ages with their new single, "Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)." The second single off of their upcoming album, Seasons of the Dark Hive, out April 24 via Napalm Records, shows their alluring devotion to the craft, as it is a rendition of an actual medieval song! Their version of celebrated German poet Walther von der Vogelweide's 13th-century "Palestine Song," one of the most famous surviving medieval songs, bestows a special historicism upon TABERNIS' alluring debut.
TABERNIS about "Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)":
"We have covered the instrumental version of this iconic medieval masterpiece, which is known to everyone. Out of deep respect for the original work, we decided to adapt it to our own style. In our version, the music is interwoven with a text evoking the season of our Dark Hive: Vespera — the rest, the twilight. As the cold covers the land, the bees huddle together to protect their Queen and preserve the heart of the hive."
Watch the official video for "Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)" Below:
Hear the call: TABERNIS summon the shadows for their debut album, Seasons of the Dark Hive, coming April 26 via Napalm Records. Born out of a passion for history, the enigmatic folk duo created an immersive sound, with bagpipes and davul bringing medieval times to life. TABERNIS intertwine ancient tradition and dark mysticism, their haunting harmonies gifting melodies to the delicate art of beekeeping. Already having performed at major festivals like Wacken and Summer Breeze Open Air off of their debut EP, Seasons of the Dark Hive will divulge more of the band's secrets to an ever-growing following.
Crafting captivating tunes from echoes of the past, TABERNIS explore age-old heritage with an almost other-worldly charm. Reaching out into the darkness, the duo arranges an ethereal undertow as seductive as honey. Seasons of the Dark Hive is an intoxicating experience, an alluring journey into the shadows. Amidst the bees, you are never alone. Together, we rise. Welcome to the Dark Hive.
TABERNIS about Seasons of the Dark Hive:
"The album Season of the Dark Hive came to life naturally, without ever forcing anything. We let the energies that live within us come out in an authentic way, using the keys we have at our disposal. With the support of Napalm Records, we can deliver quality work and open the world of TABERNIS to humans from all horizons. We drew from cultures and musical styles from all eras, from everything that has inspired us through the ages, while keeping our foundation: drum & bagpipe. This is only the beginning of the story. The energies of the seasons guide our lives and our strength, just as they do on this album."

We've opened gigs with this song, and therefore it also opens the live album since it follows the setlist. It's heavier and even better than the studio recording. Enjoy."

Dominum Announce New Album "Night is Calling" Out 7/3 — PRE-ORDER
DOMINUM return with their third full-length album, Night is Calling, out July 3 via Napalm Records. After storming straight into the Top 10 of the Official German Album Charts with their previous album The Dead Don't Die, the fast-rising band led by mastermind and vocalist Felix Heldt – better known to fans as "Dr. Dead" – is ready to open the next chapter of their dark and theatrical universe.
Blending substantial songwriting with heavy riffs, arena-ready hooks and irresistibly catchy choruses, DOMINUM have carved out their own thrilling niche between modern metal and horror aesthetics. With their bombastic sound and unmistakable stage presence, the band continues its unstoppable rise within the international metal scene. Night is Calling is now available for pre-order – selected formats include the Live at Wacken 2025 bonus album.
Dr. Dead on Night is Calling:
"'They grow up so fast."' – Ugh. It makes me sick.
And now I feel it myself: my zombies have grown up. Our creation… has grown up too.
But unlike the pitiful rest, we don’t mourn our childhood. No. We revel in who we are. Being a child, being an adult – what does that even mean? Anyway — the world lies at our feet, and we can do whatever we damn well please.
Believe me from firsthand experience: An army of zombies makes everything a hell of a lot easier… and way more fun with every bit of trouble getting the punch it deserves. We have the power to reshape our world. And oh, we do.
Night is Calling - this is our outlet.
Stronger melodies, heavier riffs, sharper, unflinching lyrics — honesty as our deadliest weapon. We are who we are. And you… you're in this whether you like it or not. The undead are on the march, more relentless than ever. Join us – immediately, willingly… or a little later when we come to your neighborhood.
Either way… we'll be seeing you.

KINGDOM COLLAPSE SHARE VIDEO FOR EXPLOSIVE NEW SINGLE "WATCH YOU BLEED"
Kingdom Collapse create the soundtrack to survival. The San Antonio, TX hard rock band alchemizes unfathomable tragedy, trauma, and loss into massive and magnetic anthems powered by pummeling instrumentation and arena-size hooks that remind you to never give up.
And they do all of the above flawlessly on their new single "Watch You Bleed."
Watch the video below.
"'Watch You Bleed' wrestles with the desire for revenge and realization that holding onto that negativity only ends up hurting yourself in the end," declares vocalist Jonathan Norris.
Bassist Aaron Smith offers insight into the video, saying, "We decided to showcase the struggle between those feelings of anger while also coming to terms with letting them go. We wanted to depict the fight of good and evil that we all wrestle with internally."
Kingdom Collapse originated out of the childhood friendship between aforementioned vocalist Jonathan Norris and bassist Aaron Smith, who grew up together, found music around the same time, and recognized its power after Jonathan endured the loss of his father at eight-years-old.
In order to cope, he immediately retreated into music and the embrace of a small community — which included Aaron's family. This was the turning point where both boys realized the power of friendship, the power of music, and their potential together. "I saw my father die right in front of my eyes," Jonathan sighs. "I didn't even know what was happening. In some ways, that darkness has never left. Music became my light. I connected with it, and it gave me hope for the future. Kingdom Collapse is a band that carries that torch."
Jonathan and Aaron each made the rounds in local bands and even collaborated a few times on short-lived projects. When they finally joined forces in Kingdom Collapse, it was as if everything they'd gone through as friends prepared them to make a statement together.
Jonathan tapped Aaron to play bass, and they rounded out the lineup by welcoming guitarist David Work and drummer Gaston Flores into the fold. Their quiet and devoted grind paid off when their breakout track "Uprise" resonated on a global scale, gathering 5 million-plus Spotify streams and bulldozing the way for 2022's independent Unbreakable EP. The latter housed their biggest single to date "Unbreakable," which has generated north of 11 million Spotify streams and hit No. 1 on Octane. Unafraid to put in the work, the four-piece didn't bother with day jobs and went all-in on music, hitting the road for hundreds of shows a year. They shared stages with everyone from Three Days Grace and Nothing More to From Ashes To New, Fire From The Gods, ATTACK ATTACK!, and Adelita's Way.
In 2025, they caught the attention of Mascot Records and inked a deal with the label. Now, Kingdom Collapse hold nothing back on their new single.

Tarja Announces New Album "Frisson Noir" + Unveils First Single "At Sea" Out Now
Tarja will unleash her brand new metal album Frisson Noir on June 12 via earMUSIC, and it's the heaviest record of her career and a powerful statement of identity, strength and belonging. After years of exploring different musical landscapes, Tarja stands firmly where she belongs — in metal.
Frisson Noir reflects Tarja's ongoing dialogue between cinematic orchestration, classical heritage, and the power and intensity of contemporary metal. The album moves between intimate piano passages, dramatic orchestral textures, and
powerful, guitar-driven moments.
At the center of the soundscape is Tarja's distinctive voice, moving effortlessly between fragile emotional expression and operatic power. Around it, orchestral arrangements, choirs, and layered instrumentation create a cinematic world that constantly shifts between darkness and light, exploring deeply human themes such as fear, beauty, nostalgia, resilience, defiance, transformation, identity, disappearance, independence, trust, and perseverance.
Across 10 tracks, Tarja delivers intensity, emotion, and strength, joined by special guest Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth), Apocalyptica, Marko Hietala (ex-Nightwish), and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). Mixed by GRAMMY-winning producerNeal Avron (Linkin Park, Skillet, Disturbed), the album blends a modern, hard-hitting sound with the dramatic and emotional elements that define Tarja's unmistakable metal identity.
The album will be available in retail as CD Digipak, Black 2LP Gatefold and Ltd. Purple 2LP Gatefold. The first pressing of all formats is finished with high-quality copper foil and logo embossing. Further exclusive formats as signed editions and a strictly limited Collectors Box Set (incl. Black 2LP Gatefold (180g) with 24-page vinyl size booklet of illustrations, photographs, and lyrics, CD Digipak with 28-page booklet, Box Set exclusive 7" vinyl single with "I Don't Care (Tarja Solo Version)" and "I Don't Care (Dani Mix)", four Box Set exclusive animal print postcards, Box Set exclusive DIN A2 Frisson Noir poster, and a fine art print signed by Tarja) will be available in the official album store.
Access the album Frisson Noir HERE.
Kicking off the album, the first single "At Sea" is out today.
The song embodies the core idea behind Frisson Noir – the physical reaction that music can provoke, the shiver that runs through the body when sound, emotion, and performance align in a real moment. With "At Sea," Tarja captures that moment, reminding listeners what happens when sound, emotion, and human performance collide. The track combines Tarja's voice with live musicians, orchestral arrangements, and choir performances recorded in Budapest with the Budapest Art Orchestra and Budapest Art Choir, conducted by Gyorgy Gulyas Nagy. The result is a heavy metal endeavor within a cinematic sonic landscape that mirrors the emotional journey of the song itself: The tension between fear and determination when facing the unknown.
Stream the single "At Sea" HERE.
Following the release, Tarja will embark on the International Frisson Live Tour 2026, launching 30th September 2026 in Berlin. Further dates to be announced.
Full tour dates can be found below and HERE.
Samael Release New Single + Video "Hidden Empire"
Following the fierce comeback statement "Black Matter Manifesto," SAMAEL unveil "Hidden Empire," the second track featured on their upcoming limited 12" maxi single vinyl, arriving April 24 via Napalm Records mail-order and the band's official shop.
The new song explores the unseen structures shaping modern existence, translating its dark themes into a tense and weighty sonic landscape. Beginning with echoes of SAMAEL's classic era before evolving into a crushing blend of heavy riffs and mechanical intensity, "Hidden Empire" showcases the band's ability to balance oppressive atmosphere and hypnotic melody. Together with "Black Matter Manifesto," the track forms a powerful two-song statement that proves the Swiss pioneers remain as uncompromising and forward-thinking as ever.
SAMAEL on "Hidden Empire":
"Hidden in plain sight, right in front of us, everywhere and at all times. We no longer see what we are used to seeing, it is our reality, a reality to which we willingly submit in order to lead a painless but meaningless existence.
"Musically, the beginning of the song is somewhat reminiscent of SAMAEL's classic track 'My Saviour,' but it quickly evolves into something more unusual for the band. It is a heavy song with an industrial touch that maintains high tension from start to finish."
Watch the Official Music Video for "Hidden Empire" Below:
Eight years after Hegemony (2017), Swiss metal titans SAMAEL return with the powerful limited 12" maxi single vinyl Hidden Empire featuring their first new material in nearly a decade. The vinyl will be released on April 24 and will be exclusively available via Napalm Records mail-order and SAMAEL's official band shop. The vinyl will include the commanding tracks "Black Matter Manifesto" and "Hidden Empire."
Formed in 1987, SAMAEL are among the most influential forces in extreme metal, reshaping the genre with timeless classics such as Worship Him and Passage. Blending black, industrial, and symphonic metal into their own unmistakable signature sound, the band continues to push boundaries with dark precision and apocalyptic grandeur.
