Rocklahoma Announces Explosive Lineup For 2026

The 20th Anniversary of Rocklahoma is officially locked and loaded.

Taking place September 4, 5, and 6, 2026 at the Rockin' Red Dirt Ranch in Pryor, Oklahoma, Rocklahoma returns with one of the most explosive lineups in its two-decade history.

The three-day Labor Day tradition continues to deliver the loudest weekend of the year in America's heartland and includes  DEB Concerts' Thursday Night Throwdown Kick-Off Party on Thursday, September 3.

GODSMACK, PAPA ROACH, and SLAYER, who will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of their seminal Reign In Blood album, are set to headline on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively.

Joining the heavy-hitting headliners across the weekend are the best of the best in rock music — ranging from legacy acts to the new breed of superstars to up-and-comers. There truly is something for everyone across the event!

Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix declares, "The guys and I are beyond excited to return to Rocklahoma 2026 alongside such a killer lineup. It will be our first time since 2015 — over a decade! So make sure to grab your tickets fast!"

The Pretty Reckless vocalist Taylor Momsen adds, "Rocklahoma isn't just another festival; it's for the loud, the misfits, and the lifers. There's something about stepping on that stage, feeling that heat, that roar, and knowing these fans live and breathe rock 'n' roll the same way we do."

"Oklahoma! We can't wait to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Rocklahoma with all of you on Friday, September 4 with a full lineup of pure ROCK!," says Godsmack singer Sully Erna.

Performers include Stone Temple Pilots, Cypress Hill, Dropkick Murphys, Insane, Clown Posse, Black Label Society, The Pretty Reckless, Hollywood Undead, Yelawolf, Pennywise, Wolfmother, Jet, Suicidal Tendencies, Black Veil Brides, President, Living Colour, Buckcherry, Black Stone Cherry, Ugly Kid Joe, Crossfade, Slaughter, Molly Hatchet, Dexter and The Moonrocks, Militarie Gun, Barbarians of California, Plush, Tim Montana, Ill Nino, Teen Mortgage, Ozzolution, Cyco Miko, Autumn Kings, Big Ass Truck, Cowboy Angels, The Violent Hour, High June, Eternal Frequency, She Hates Me Not, Luscious, Fire Tiger, and School of Rock.

The event is also hosted by SiriusXM's Eddie Trunk.

After 20 years of campground chaos, lifelong friendships, pit anthems, and red dirt sunrises, Rocklahoma isn't slowing down.

It's not just a festival with a kick-ass lineup. It's been a gathering place for fans who treat rock music like religion and the campground like home. From first-timers to lifers who haven't missed a single year since it started, the festival remains one of the longest-running destination rock events in the country.

Weekend passes, VIP packages, camping, and premium experiences will be available HERE. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, February 25 at 10am CT.

Mark your calendars. In permanent ink.

Amulets Announce "Rem(a)inders" EP + Share "Black Sheep"

Amulets, the project of Portland-based audio + visual artist Randall Taylor, has unveiled the new single "Black Sheep," the first taken from new EP Rem(a)inders, out April 10 via Pelagic Records.

Against a hazy analogue backdrop, ambient guitars reverberate and echo through the sonic landscape, creating a sensation of weightlessness that is both calming and unsettling. Melancholic and soaring, "Black Sheep" evokes a presence of isolation and longing in the emptiness. Through patient unfolding, this minimalist, poignant atmosphere raises in intensity, deliberate in its unhurried movement, leaving room for each sound to breathe, evolve, and fade into the next.

Amulets' new album Rema(i)nders marks the debut for Pelagic Records, a fitting home for a record that thrives in the liminal space between heaviness and fragility. Deeply immersive, the album navigates the dreamy boundaries between the tangible and the ethereal, where sound behaves as memory itself: Unstable, layered, and quietly transformative.

Randall Taylor's work uses analog tape and its imperfections to explore themes like degradation and nostalgia and their relationship to technology and to the self. By constructing and modifying tape loops and repurposing antiquated cassette players, Taylor creates dense, never-ending, looping soundscapes for both his live performances and sculptural sound art installations.

Known for his ability to weave soundscapes that evoke powerful emotions with minimalistic instrumentation, Taylor's newest project is a masterful exploration of mood, atmosphere, and texture.

Taylor comments, "Rema(i)nders started as a fragmented collection of songs, memories, ideas, and feelings that I wanted to mash and warp together beyond recognition. What I ended up creating was a beautiful mosaic of texture and light in this darkening world. To remain is to remind. To remind is to remain."

August Burns Red Re-Sign With Fearless Records + Share Video for New Single Behemoth"

August Burns Red — Jake Luhrs (vocals); JB Brubaker (guitar); Brent Rambler (guitar); Dustin Davidson (bass); and Matt Grenier (drums) — need no introduction. For over two decades, the Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based act has been crafting its own unique brand of metalcore that has established ABR as one of the foremost acts in the genre. Their career milestones speak for themselves: Multiple placements in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 200; tours with everyone from Bullet For My Valentine to A Day To Remember; an accumulation of 600 million streams. However the band — nominated for Best Metal Performance Grammys in 2016 for the song "Identity" and again for "Invisible Enemy" in 2018 — have never stopped pushing the limits of their sound. Which brings us to today — the release of the new single "Behemoth," along with their triumphant return to Fearless Records.

Watch the "Behemoth" video below

"Behemoth" is, well, exactly what its title suggests. It's massive in every way — from the Herculean breakdowns to the battering ram percussion to the battle cry choruses that demand singing along! But ABR also prove that being heavy AF doesn't always mean fast and loud. They drop a quiet moment amidst the maelstrom and as they close out the song, and it's those moments that illustrate just how ferocious they are.

There's a reason ABR are one of the most enduring and beloved bands in the metalcore scene. They're as consistent as ever, yet always evolving.

"'Behemoth' is a song that probably went through more revisions and changes than any song we've ever written," says Brubaker. "While frustrating at times, the conversations and re-writes were worth the effort as we collectively feel very proud of how this song turned out. I believe it's one of the heaviest and most raw songs we've ever delivered."

"Lyrically, 'Behemoth' speaks about the realization of past pains living through present actions in life," states Luhrs. "With the determination to face this reality, a process of healing and breaking old ways leads to a rebirth. It's about cutting the ties to your past, giving it no space to live in the present, and inevitably, changing the course of your life."

ABR will hit the road on a co-headline run with The Amity Affliction this Spring. All dates for the Spring Horizons tour are below.

Hardline Announce New Album "Shout" + Share "Rise Up" Video

It's impossible to tell the full story of Hardline's new studio album Shout without mentioning their 1992 classic Double Eclipse

After all, that was the moment when this exceptional hard rock act's unique artistic DNA was created — its first draft almost perfect. Since then, Hardline have released six studio albums — each considered to be a highlight of the genre.

Shout, arriving April 17, sees the band — helmed by American vocalist Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell, Crush 40) and his Italian teammates, keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio (Vanden Plas, Jorn); guitarist Luca Princiotta; bassist Anna Portalupi; and drummer Marco Di Salvia — take up where their 1992 masterpiece left off.

"Our current album features our typical choruses and the classic songwriting style of Double Eclipse supported by a contemporary production and state-of-the-art sound. The album gives you that feeling you get when you roll down your car window and turn up the radio on full blast," says Gioeli, describing the ten new songs.

He adds, "This band doesn't want to reinvent its music. Hardline is Hardline, and our fans know what to expect from us!"

First single "Rise Up" is the perfect foretaste of the album which spews the historical, current, and future melodic consistency of Hardline.

Scarlett O'Hara Share "REDRUM" Video

They say everything is bigger in the Lone Star State, and this is undoubtedly the case for South Texas metalcore outlaws Scarlett O'Hara.

They share the video for their large and loud new single "REDRUM." Watch it below

The band's heavy fusion of electronics, powerful riffs, and polished vocals, has solidified regular placement on the Billboard charts for three consecutive releases, rotation on Sirius XM Octane, and a lineup spot at Welcome To Rockville (2021 and 2022), Louder Than Life, and Inkcarceration. They've teamed up with Grammy-nominated producers and spared no expense to conjure up an unrelenting discography for metalheads to relish.

Scarlett O'Hara have shared the stage with some of the biggest acts in the genre such as Bring Me The Horizon, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, Underoath, Motionless In White, and many more. Formed in 2008, Scarlett O'Hara have been a mainstay in the metalcore community ever since.

The new song is a testament to their longevity and vitality.

"'REDRUM' marks a return to form while setting the direction forward," the band says. "It's built on the core elements that defined the band early on, the sound is familiar but refined through time, pressure, and experience — darker and more aggressive than its predecessors."

Stay tuned for more from Scarlett O'Hara. 2026 is going to be a busy year for the band.

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: The Veer Union Release New Album "Reinvention"

This is what a reset actually sounds like.

With Reinvention, The Veer Union return sharper, louder and more focused than ever. The album doesn't feel like a comeback — it feels like a band reconnecting with its core and pushing forward at the same time. Heavy, melodic and emotionally charged, Reinvention captures everything The Veer Union have built over years in the scene, refined into their most confident statement yet.

At the center of the record sits "Feel Again," the album's focus track and emotional backbone. It’s a song about breaking through numbness, about finding that spark after being worn down — and it hits with soaring hooks, crushing guitars and the kind of chorus that sticks instantly. "Feel Again" isn't just a highlight, it’s a reminder of why The Veer Union's music resonates so deeply with their audience.

The album also marks the peak of an incredibly successful campaign cycle. Over the past months, The Veer Union rolled out a steady run of singles that kept momentum building — tracks like "My Empire," "Sea Of Fear," "Caught In The Crossfire," "Sunk Your Teeth In" and "Meet Your Maker" each showing a different side of the band while staying unmistakably true to their sound. Each release pulled in more listeners, more attention, and more anticipation for what Reinvention would become.

That consistency paid off. With nearly 300,000 unique monthly listeners on Spotify, The Veer Union are proving that their reach is bigger than ever — connecting with longtime fans while constantly pulling in new ones across the global heavy scene.

Reinvention isn't about chasing trends or rewriting the past. It's about evolution, resilience and rediscovering purpose. This is The Veer Union fully locked in — and sounding stronger than ever.

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: Lost in Hollywood Drop New Single "Love Is Dying"

LOST IN HOLLYWOOD RELEASE BRAND NEW SINGLE "LOVE IS DYING" (FEAT. PHILIP STRAND FROM NORMANDIE).

Love isn't supposed to sound like this.

With "Love Is Dying," Lost in Hollywood tap straight into the moment where everything starts to crack — and they don't look away.

Featuring Philip Strand of Normandie, the new single by Lost In Hollywood blends crushing metalcore weight with a haunting melodic pull, balancing raw aggression and fragile emotion in a way that feels both intimate and explosive. It’s not a polished love song or a dramatic farewell — it's the sound of something falling apart in real time.

The track arrives at a moment where Lost in Hollywood have been quietly building serious momentum. Recent singles like "The Fire," "Pretty Skin," "Like A River" (feat. Of Virtue) and "The Art Of Being Torn Out" (Feat. Half Me) didn't just showcase different sides of the band — they proved how confidently they move between atmosphere, heaviness and emotional depth. Each release pushed their sound further, pulling more listeners into their orbit and solidifying their place in the modern metalcore landscape.

"Love Is Dying" feels like the emotional center of that journey. Philip Strand’s unmistakable voice adds a fragile contrast to the band’s relentless energy, turning the track into a tense back-and-forth between vulnerability and rage. It’s heavy, melodic, uncomfortable — and exactly the kind of song that sticks with you longer than expected.

All of this leads straight into Lost in Hollywood’s upcoming album, set for release on March 20th. The record promises to be the band's most focused and ambitious work to date — bigger in sound, sharper in songwriting and unafraid to sit with uncomfortable emotions. If the recent singles were pieces of the puzzle, "Love Is Dying" is the moment everything clicks into place.

March 20th isn't just another release date — it's the next step for a band that's done playing it safe.

"Good Enough" is an intense song about inner conflict, vulnerability, and the search for self-acceptance. Caught between doubt and inner storms, "Good Enough" questions self-worth.

Flood adds, “Being invited to feature on Rising Insane's new single was an incredible experience, and I can't wait to see how fans respond to 'Good Enough.' It's a high-energy, powerful track, and I think both Rising Insane fans and Caskets fans are really going to connect with it."

While Rising Insane remain true to their post-hardcore and metalcore roots, the band has evolved both collectively and individually, which is clearly reflected in their new and fresh sound. With over 25 million streams worldwide and top placements on some of the most influential playlists, including Kickass Metal, The Core and All New Metal, Rising Insane have recently created quite a buzz.

PRESIDENT Share Video for New Single "Angel Wings" — WATCH // Band Touring North America With Bad Omens

Multi-million streaming, UK-based collective PRESIDENT operate at the intersection of heavy music, electronic experimentation, and cinematic atmosphere. Refusing to conform to the traditional structures of genre or identity, PRESIDENT prioritize intent over image.

Today, PRESIDENT have issued their first new music of 2026 in the form of the new single "ANGEL WINGS."

Watch the video below

The stunningly transcendent and richly layered song is the next step in the band's sonic evolution — a mix of alt-rock, industrial, programmed beats, and push-and-pull breakdowns.

"'Angel Wings' reflects a search for spiritual redemption and the resolve to begin again," the artist explains. "It marks the opening of a new chapter. At its core, the song speaks to holding close those who matter most, while remaining unmoved by detractors."

"Angel Wings" is a new term for PRESIDENT in many ways. It's not only the first new song of the year — it's also the band's first release for Atlantic Records

PRESIDENT launched in 2025, operating under the cloak of minimalism and anonymity, cultivating intrigue with every single and performance. Built to exist outside the noise, PRESIDENT are building something that invites deeper investment — designed to be discovered, not sold. PRESIDENT said it best, tellingRevolver in a cover feature that "the music industry has elements of fast fashion to it these days. Things just come and go. Everything's really quick. Everyone's shouting for attention and there's just so much noise, and it just becomes a fucking conveyor belt. [We] wanted to step back and not be a part of that. But if people are interested, and they want to enter into this world, we'll grab them with open arms."

PRESIDENT's debut EP, King of Terrors, was released in fall 2025. Listen here.

PRESIDENT's North American tour kicks off this weekend. They will open for Bad Omens and Beartooth. All dates are below.

Poison the Well Drop Video for New Single "EVERYTHING HURTS"

POISON THE WELL will release PEACE IN PLACE, their first album in 16 years, on March 20 via SharpTone Records. Pre-order it here

Today, they share the video for new single "EVERYTHING HURTS." Watch it below.

The song hones in on PTW's patented and signature quiet/loud dynamics, and it's a perfectly executed mix of moody and metallic. In the video, we follow singer Jeffrey Moreira in an almost voyeuristic way. The tension in both the song and the accompanying visual builds steadily. Tune in to see where they start and where they end, and pay attention to some easter eggs along the way.

"'Everything Hurts' is about the patience and effort it takes to keep relationships alive," says Moreira. "I care deeply about the people in my life, but even the people you love can be frustrating sometimes. And it's important to remember that we can be just as frustrating to them. We all have our moments — and I have my moments too. The ones that stick around are the ones you have a unique connection with. You can't put up with everyone's shit, so the people you keep close are the ones whose shit you actually want to deal with."

ABOUT POISON THE WELL:
In the space of barely a breath, Poison The Well pacify fits of jarring brutality with moments of fragile beauty. Their unmistakable melodic hardcore gently dilutes the effects of trauma, betrayal, depression, and loss with hard-won wisdom and diligently earned self-acceptance. For as much force as they commit to the riffs and the breakdowns, there’s an equal amount of naked emotion encoded in their relatable hooks. At this point, they are unassumingly, yet undeniably embedded in the DNA of modern metal and hardcore. Poison The Well’s 1999 debut, The Opposite of December… A Season of Separation has claimed spots on BrooklynVegan's 15 '90s Metalcore Albums That Still Resonate Today; KERRANG!'s 21 Best U.S. Metalcore Albums of All Time; Loudwire's 25 Best Metalcore Albums of All Time; and Revolver's 10 Most Influential Metalcore Albums of All Time. Stereogumput it best, "The Opposite of December… A Season of Separation influenced a whole generation of metalcore bands." Meanwhile, 2003's You Come Before You remains regarded among Metal Hammer's 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the 21st Century and Rock Sound's 250 Greatest Albums of Our Lifetime. Despite going on hiatus following 2009's The Tropic Rot, the group's influence has only expanded over the years (as evidenced by over 100 million streams across their catalog). After touring in 2015 and 2021, they've commemorated milestone birthdays of both You Come Before You and The Opposite of December... with in-demand headline jaunts. Once again, the members felt an intense need to create as a unit. Rallying together, the guys channeled the spirit of their most celebrated material through a prism of new experience on their sixth full-length offering, Peace In Place.

Moodring Share "Anywhere But Here"

The musical entity's name hints at volatility — color, emotion, and temperature in flux. Nowhere is that more evident than in death fetish, a defining album for a haunting and defiant new chapter. For founder and frontman Hunter Young, this is more than a record.

It's survival, reflection, and metamorphosis. It is art made from the raw materials of pain, purpose, and persistence.

The album, steeped in nu metal, alt, and industrial influences, arrives on March 27 via SharpTone Records. Pre-order it here.

Moodring have just dropped the visualizer for "ANYWHERE BUT HERE." Watch it below.

With its moody, quiet-loud dynamics, rich layers, and palpable sonic tension, the song is another thrill ride in which listeners can ride sidecar. It's the perfect execution of industrial ambience and metallic edge.

"'Anywhere But Here' is about the breakdown of a relationship where a shared creative world became a source of manipulation and envy," shares Young. "The chorus lyric is coming from a place of irony, but also represents a longing for freedom and steadiness."

The Moodring origin story puts the timber and tone of the music in clear view.

Young conceived Moodring alone, in his bedroom, an exercise in catharsis through art. The resulting debut EP, 2021's Showmetherealyou, resonated with a surprising number of diverse listeners. That connection inspired Moodring to evolve into a creative outlet that transcended its simple origins.  Both sensual and suffocating, the Stargazer album followed in 2022. In a glowing review, Kerrang! praised the full-length as "hefty from the get-go" and likened it to "a cool wave of water lapping over you." The album's "vivacious" vocal work and vibe made new Moodring fans around the world.

The following year's EP, Your Light Fades Away, expanded the palette further, fusing ferocity, shimmering melody, and nü-metal groove into something equally cinematic and claustrophobic.  The "black-velvet nu-metal melodies and bleak-booming breakdowns" (Revolver) of 2025's "half-life" were, sadly, inspired by a life-changing medical diagnosis that left Young unable to tour with Moodring or his accomplished deathcore outfit, SharpTone Records labelmates PSYCHO-FRAME.

Unable to tour and unwilling to compromise, Young focused on writing and recording new music. death fetish  is the sound of transcendence—an artist refusing to disappear, even as the light fades.

For all its darkness, death fetish is not a surrender. It's a reclamation. It’s Young taking back control of his narrative — body failing, mind racing, still creating, still here. "I just wanted to make a dark, honest record," he says. "And if people don't like it, I don't really care. I had to do it for myself."

Moodring, once a more traditional "band," now exists as something far more elusive and infinite: A vessel for transformation, a mirror for mortality, and a living testament to pain and creation.

Goblin Metal Ikons NEKROGOBLIKON Return with "The Boiling Sea" EP + Share "Secret Elephant" (Feat. Reel Big Fish) Video + Touring💚

Goblin metal's least likely legends are back. After nearly two decades of chaos, cult stardom, and the viral mayhem of "No One Survives," Nekrogoblikon return with The Boiling Sea — the feral new EP that ushers in a historic era for the band. It arrives on April 17. Pre-order it here

Today, the goblin metallers drop the video for "The Secret Elephant" (Feat. Reel Big Fish).

Watch the video, directed by Brandon Dermer, below:

For the first time ever, the goblin throne is shared. Former mascot-turned-frontman (and beloved host of the number one comedy podcast "RIGHT NOW"), John Goblikon steps fully into the spotlight with soaring melodic vocals, while extreme metal phenom Dickie Allen (of Infant Annihilator) unleashes the kind of throat-shredding brutality usually reserved for apocalyptic events.

"I've been asked to give a statement on our new song 'Secret Elephant' and after strong consideration, I've decided I'm not quite sure know what that means. But what I DO know is secrets don't make friends… unless that secret is, of course, an elephant who you happened to befriend. Yhey also say an elephant never forgets, but goblins definitely do, because I literally can't remember where I put my phone! I had it earlier and then I got distracted by this email asking me for a quote about our new song 'Secret Elephant,' which is such a banger by the way. Ooh, that reminds me I gotta look for my phone!" — Sent from John's iPhone.

"It was so much fun filming ourselves being goofballs," says Allen. "Also, has anyone seen my beer?"

Produced and mixed by metal mastermind Jason Suecof (Job for a Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder), The Boiling Sea is a high-octane proving ground for the band's new dual-vocal onslaught, first teased by the 2025 double-feature videos for "Show Me Your Goblin" and "Fiend."

On the upcoming release, guitarist Alex Alereza offers, "Writing for this release began in the midst of constant touring and right after bringing on a new vocal duo, so we found ourselves in new territories both in terms of pace and creative process. And that ended up being a good thing! We had a blast making this together and hope everyone enjoys these songs as much as we do. And for the Nekro fans that have been with us for a very long time, we decided to include live recordings of five Nekro classics!"

The goblin horde won't stay submerged for long. Nekrogoblikon will hit the road on an electrifying tour alongside Japan's genre-smashing metal force Hanabie., giving fans the chance to witness the premier goblin metal spectacle live and scream along to their favorite anthems. Get tickets here.

Nearly 20 years in, Nekrogoblikon aren't just surviving — they're boiling over.

Saint Agnes Release "Good Boy Video — WATCH // New Album "Your God Fearing Days Are About to Begin" Out 5/29

London's Saint Agnes release the video for the new single "Good Boy," the third track from the forthcoming album, Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin.

Frontperson Kitty A. Austen explains, "'Good Boy' was written to be a scathing critique of obedient, subservient men who uphold the capitalist death cult, feed the machine, and call it a virtue. It’s a snarling takedown of the so-called 'good boys' who suck corporate dick and wear their complicity like a badge."

Kitty's voice, vision, and volatility shape every inch of the band's evolving world, and she is ably partnered by co-founding member Jon James Tufnell. Together, they form the creative axis. Fusing raw industrial power, dark elegance, and hedonistic, body-moving intensity, Saint Agnes have created a sound made for sweat-soaked goth club dancefloors. Inspired by the intensity of Nine Inch Nails, the genre-bending chaos of Poppy and the euphoric, cinematic storytelling of Lorde, this is music for the club, the stage and the void inside. Self-confessed "control freaks," Saint Agnes obsessively curate all aspects of their art and their music; this time, however, they utilized the mixing skills of Jim Pinder (Sleep Token, BMTH), the result being "our best sounding record to date, and the truest to our vision," according to Kitty.

Having recently played shows with Last Train (in France) and Ghostkid (in Germany).

Dirty Heads Are Getting a Jump on Summer With New Single "Seven Seas"

RIAA Platinum certified band DIRTY HEADS return with their new single, "Seven Seas" — a warm, melodic track that blends reggae, hip-hop, and alternative pop, which is the band's signature style.

The release marks the band's first new music since the deluxe edition of 2023's Midnight Control and it continues the focus on connection, resilience, and community.

"Seven Seas" reflects on the importance of showing up for one another during challenging times, pairing laid-back grooves with reflective lyrics. The song underscores the band's ability to balance feel-good energy with emotional depth, an approach that has remained central to their sound for over two decades.

Watch "Seven Seas" below.

"It feels like the universe is throwing some heavy waves our way right now," says singer Jared Watson. "A lot of people close to me, including myself, have been feeling it. But every time I connect with my friends, I'm reminded that no matter what we're each carrying, there's always room to support one another. 'Seven Seas' is about that bond — being there for your friends and family, through anything."

Formed in 2000, DIRTY HEADS have built a dedicated global following by seamlessly fusing reggae, hip-hop, alternative rock, and pop. Their reach expanded significantly when the platinum-certified single "Vacation" found renewed popularity through viral culture, introducing the band to a new generation of listeners. The group later earned a No. 1 Alternative Radio hit with "Rescue Me," further solidifying their place in the genre and scene.

With over 3 billion career streams worldwide and collaborations spanning artists such as Travis Barker, Nick Hexum, Matisyahu, Slash, and more, DIRTY HEADS continue to evolve — while staying true to the spirit that defines their music. "Seven Seas" signals the beginning of a new chapter, one rooted in connection, optimism, and forward momentum.

More music and tour news from Dirty Heads will be announced soon.

ARISING EMPIRE MEDIA ALERT: Venues Release New Single

After the impact of "Duality" — a single that marks the band's next chapter — German metalcore force VENUES now unveil their next strike with "Hollow Walls."

But this isn't just another release.

"Hollow Walls" picks up where "Duality" left off. Visually and emotionally. The new music video acts as a direct sequel, continuing the narrative thread and expanding the atmosphere into darker territory. What began as tension now escalates into confrontation. The cracks in the surface are no longer subtle — they're breaking wide open.

Watch the video below.

Sonically, VENUES lean further into contrast: Fragile moments collide with explosive weight, cinematic tension meets razor-sharp heaviness. "Hollow Walls" feels urgent, restless, and uncomfortably honest — like standing in a room that’s slowly collapsing while you’re still inside it.

If "Duality" was the warning shot, "Hollow Walls" is the fallout.

This isn't a reset.

It's the next chapter.

ARISING EMPIRE MEDIA ALERT: Vicious Rain Release New Single

Swiss metalcore powerhouse VICIOUS RAIN aren't slowing down — they're sharpening the blade.

With their brand new single "A Spotless Mind," the band unveil another intense chapter of an album cycle that has already seen momentum. Following the impact of "IKIGAI," "Spitting Blood Again," "Silent Therapy," and "Trading Hearts," Vicious Rain continue to prove that this era isn't built on one strong track — it's a statement of consistency and evolution.

"A Spotless Mind" dives deeper into the emotional weight that has defined this cycle so far, but it does so with a new level of urgency. Where previous singles balanced atmosphere and aggression, this one feels more immediate — sharp riffs, soaring tension, and a chorus that lingers long after the final breakdown fades. It's heavy, but controlled. Emotional, but not fragile. The kind of track that doesn’t just hit — it stays.

All of this leads toward their upcoming full-length release, set to drop on March 13th. If the singles so far are any indication, Vicious Rain aren't just releasing an album — they're cementing their place as one of the most compelling forces in modern European metalcore.

"A Spotless Mind" is another reminder: This isn't hype. It's momentum.

Lowlives Return With Cover of Garbage's "Only Happy When It Rains"

LOWLIVES aren't so much about carefully stoking the embers as pouring on gasoline with merry impetuosity. The band was founded on a shared love of '90s alternative and grunge, and a shared desire to make music for little more than the love of doing so.

They capture that musical spirit and mission statement wholly with their cover of the '90s alt x pop x rock smash "Only Happy When It Rains" by Garbage.

Watch the official video below

For this cover, the band has cranked up the guitars and sprinkled some additional grit, giving it the Lowlives' treatment, while remaining true to the spirit of the original.

"We've had a list of songs we’ve been wanting to cover for years, and 'Only Happy When It Rains' has always been at the top of it," the band states. "The song is about finding comfort in misery, and that's a theme that runs through a lot of what we write, so covering this song felt less like stepping outside our world and more like reinforcing it."

LOWLIVES ARE:
Lee Downer — Vocals/Guitar
Jaxon Moore — Guitar
Steve Lucarelli — Bass
Luke Johnson — Drums

idle threat Announce "you'll forget the sun" Out 5/8 + Share "evermind" Video —

Nashville quintet idle threat  Ernie Fabian [guitar, vocals], Zeke McKinney[bass, vocals], Justin Jones [drums], Nathan Moe [guitar], and Dylan Winstead [guitar] — have announced their new album you'll forget the sun, out May 8 via Tooth & Nail. Pre-order it here.

The band has shared the video for first single "evermind."

Watch it below.

"'evermind' attempts to express the shock and grief that accompany losing a loved one far too young," the band says. "It asks deep questions that aren’t always met with answers on this earth."

The album features guest appearances from Haste the Day's Stephen Keech and Silent Planet's Garrett Russell on separate tracks, among others.

idle threat aim to dim the darkness and let the light in through the emotional and hopeful lyrics found in each song they meticulously craft. The Nashville rock band not only gives you the space to scream next to them; they also offer up hopeful hooks you can hum along to. The quintet writes the kinds of songs that recognize how tough life is, but still help you get through it with your body, mind, and spirit intact.

As such, their second full-length album, you’ll forget the sun [Tooth & Nail], provides a reminder to keep going no matter what.

"There's a two-part meaning to you'll forget the sun," Fabian reveals. "On one hand, the days can be so dark that you forget the sun exists. On the other hand, when we step into the presence of God—whose glory is so radiant and bright—the sun will pale in comparison. We're pondering this dichotomy from a perspective informed by our faith and experiences. All of the hard things will eventually fade away, and we'll be left in the presence of light."

idle threat have uplifted listeners with a combination of cathartic energy and open-hearted honesty since 2016's Grown Tired EP. They deepened their connection with an ardent audience on blurred visions in 2021 highlighted by "no turning back," "driftwood" [feat. Cory Brandan of Norma Jean], and many others. They toured with everyone from Make Sure, Distend, Meadows, and Roy Sullivan to Norma Jean, Emery, Aaron Gillespie, and Watashi Wa, in addition to appearing at Furnace Fest twice.

Throughout the spring of 2025, the musicians recorded you'll forget the sun in Nashville with Haste The Day frontman Stephen Keech behind the board as producer. In the studio, they made major creative leaps as a collective, honing their sound in the process.
