Fit for a King Announce New Album "Lonely God" + Share Video for Title Track

FIT FOR A KING  — Ryan Kirby, vocals; Bobby Lynge, guitar; Daniel Gailey, guitar; Trey Celaya, drums; and Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary — bass/vocals — are thrilled to announce their new album and eighth overall, titled Lonely God. It was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Daniel Braunstein [Spiritbox].

Lonely God will arrive on August 1 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it here

The band, which just wrapped up a sold-out North American tour with Killswitch Engage, Kublai Khan TX, and Frozen Soul, are dropping the video for the title track today, as well. Watch it below

It boasts ALL the sonic hallmarks FFAK fans have come to know and love — gnarly riffs, guttural growls, deep grooves, and a slightly industrial crunch that takes things to the next level, every single time.

"In general, 'Lonely God' relates to the pursuit of power," shares Kirby about the track. "They're trading companionship, relationships, and love for power and money. You may have all of the power and be a 'God,' but it's a lonely spot because the world despises you."

Further expanding on the album itself, Kirby shares, "Lonely God is the result of us writing with no agendas. We didn't care about which song could be viral, or if we needed radio tracks, etc. We just wrote what we wanted, for the first time, in a really long time."

He finishes, "All five of us have our fingerprints on this album. We found a way to balance our voices. We've always been genuine with the lyrics, and that's the case again. There’s so much heart behind all of the instrumentation too. There’s definitely a lot of growth because our bond is tighter than ever."

Fit For A King harness the power of their brotherhood in order to push forward. The music contains traces of the members' personal and collective experiences grafted onto an ever-evolving sonic palette of metalcore unpredictability, alternative melody, and deathcore brutality laced with electronic alchemy. As trends came and went in the background of the last decade, the quintet has weathered trials and tribulations as well as enduring the chaos of a world constantly influx. However, their bond stretches back to 2011 when Fit For A King unleashed their independent debut Descendants. They continually progressed with Creation/Destruction [2013], Slave to Nothing [2014], Deathgrip [2016], and The Path [2020]. Meanwhile, 2022's The Hell We Create marked their fifth Top 3 debut on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart and third straight Top 15 debut on the Top Album Sales Chart. Outburn applauded how, "With The Hell We Create, Fit For A King takes on a new depth," and KERRANG! assured, "It hits hard in all the right places." They've impressively garnered just shy of half-a-billion streams fueled by staples like "When Everything  Means Nothing," "The Price of Agony," "Breaking the Mirror," and more. Along the way, they also collaborated with the likes of August Burns Red, The Plot In You, The Ghost Inside, and We Came As Romans in addition to packing houses on tour. In 2025, you can hear their strength and camaraderie loud and clear on their eighth full-length offering, Lonely God [Solid State Records].

Hiroe Unveil Video for "Collider" From Album "Wield" Out 6/10

Hiroe, the new darlings of the American post-rock underground, have revealed their latest single "Collider," taken from their forthcoming debut album, Wield, out June 20 via Pelagic Records.

Watch the "Collider" video below.

Pre-order Wield here.

"Collider" is a 10-minute epic, presenting listeners with a sonic journey into the heart of modern existence, reflecting life's often opposing and overwhelming demands. Its elaborate structure provides the band with an opportunity to showcase diverse instrumentation, from the resonant standing bass and the delicate chime of a glockenspiel to captivating guitar tapping sections that crescendo into a powerful three-part harmony. Embodying a musical representation of the contradictory elements in balancing life's competing priorities, it evokes the moment when all facets of life come to a head, resulting in a profound convergence, just as its title, "Collider," implies.

Hiroe guitarist Eric Kusanagi comments, "'Collider' is a song that when we play live seems to be a crowd favorite. It's the longest song in our catalogue, at about 10 minutes long, and we wanted to take the listener on a journey that goes through a lot of peaks and valleys."

The single is another glimpse of the forthcoming album Wield, showcasing the Philadelphia-based quintet mastering their craft, of creating compelling melodies that sound larger than life.

2022 saw Hiroe burst onto the scene with an explosive debut EP full of soaring anthems and sublime soundscapes. Combining the sonic expansiveness of Deftones with the dynamic heaviness of bands like Isis and Caspian, Hiroe immediately already figured out how to make the most majestic sounding post-rock early in their career.

"Our first release, Wrought, was a statement of creation," explains principal songwriter and guitarist Kusanagi.

For the recording of WieldJill Paslier moved from bass to guitars, with Brian Kong (guitars), Jon Seiler (bass), and Dan Sagherian (drums) joining to complete the lineup. Produced once more by Mario Quintero (Spotlights), Wield capitalizes on everything the band learned in the creation of its predecessor, adding to it a new focus on textural intricacies and compositional detail.

"We wanted to show a larger range of musical themes on this record," continues Kusanagi. "You'll hear us dive into some synth work, some piano work, some really interesting effects that Mario helped us dial up."

As a result, Wield packs in a huge range of details, which reveal themselves over repeated listens.

Nevertheless, Wield is still an affair of instant gratification for fans of guitar driven post-rock. From the soaring leads of "Tides" to the epic finale of "I've Been Waiting For You All My Life," Hiroe show they've upped their game in every department, but especially that which tugs at your heartstrings.

Wield presents the brave new future we all need in these confusing times. A new American frontier on which we can build our wildest dreams and our most daring ambitions.

Sainthood Reps Release New Single "Blue Nothing" + Announce Signing to Smartpunk Records -

Smartpunk Records welcomes Sainthood Reps to their label roster and celebrates the announcement with a new single, "Blue Nothing," out now. This is the first taste of more music and announcements from the band coming later this year!

The new track embodies the band's signature blend of heavy grunge and dreamy shoegaze that they have been honing since the late 2000s.

Listen below.

Speaking about the new single, Sainthood Reps vocalist and guitarist Cesco Montesanto shares, "Blue Nothing is kind of the pep talk I would give myself before finally deciding to move on with my life after losing something incredibly dear to me. It's about coming to the realization that the nothingness of what's been left behind is actually a substantial part of who we are, and the path forward isn't to block out the nothingness, but to embrace it. The chorus lyric is “elegize what you’ve lost and you know is gone for good.” If there were ever a "part 2" of this song, it would probably be the elegy itself.

When it came time to lay down vocals for the bridge, we asked our dear friend Gerry Windus (Stand Still) to take the reins. We never even considered anyone else. Turns out, that was the right move because he smashed that part."

ABOUT SAINTHOOD REPS
Sainthood Reps have been known for their unique blend of grunge, post-hard, and shoegaze since the late 2000’s. After releasing Monoculture in 2011, Headswell in 2013, and a couple of singles here and there, the band spent several years pursuing other projects before eventually regrouping during COVID. Since 2022, the band has been in and out of the studio compiling new music that marks a definitive step forward without straying too far from their signature sound.

Sainthood Reps consists of Derrick Sherman, Cesco Montesanto, Bradley Cordaro, and Jani Zubkovs, with Chris Smith featuring in live performances.

Psycho-Frame's Debut Album Is Coming + Watch "BLUEPRINTS FOR IDOL GENOCIDE" Video

Six-member wrecking crew PSYCHO-FRAME are thrilled to announce their debut album SALVATION LAUGHS IN THE FACE OF A GRIEVING MOTHER. The album arrives July 25 via SharpTone Records and is available for pre-order here

Drawing influence from classic American death metal while channeling a chaotic, present-day urgency, the band's sound is as deliberate and technical as it is aggressive.

To mark the occasion the band has shared the video for "BLUEPRINTS FOR IDOL GENOCIDE." Watch it below.

The track will grab you by the nape of your neck and throttle you from start to finish with its djent-y, deathcore rhythms and crawled-outta-hell-and-went-back-for-a-visit vocals.

"It's a song about bad actors in the community," says vocalist Michael Sugars. "I see people moving in weird ways. So, I'll keep my distance and let God sort 'em out while I do my thing."

The album is also a bit of a commentary on society and how one should navigate their place within it.

Guitarist/vocalist Hunter Young comments, "So many people are looking for someone to save them. No one is coming to save you at the end of the day though. That's where SALVATION LAUGHS IN THE FACE OF A GRIEVING MOTHERcomes in. You're on your own."

No truer words!

ABOUT PSYCHO FRAME:
Viscerally technical, and crushingly heavy, PSYCHO-FRAME are comprised of several veterans of metal's various sub-genres with a purpose of creating aggressive and immolating music. What began as a casual collaboration between Hunter Young, of MOODRING, and Michael Sugars, formerly of Vatican, quickly grew into something more serious. Both were getting off tours with their respective bands and playing games together. "The more that happened the more we said, 'Let's make something that we actually want to hear.'" The result was a series of early releases that gained fast traction.

Debut single "24 Hours Left" arrived in April 2023, followed two highly acclaimed EPs — Remote God Seeker in May 2023 and Automatic Death Protocol in December 2023. The "FEED" double single dropped in early 2025, while the band also landed on Revolver's list of "Top 5 Deathcore Bands Right Now."

PSYCHO-FRAME recorded the new album throughout 2024, with a focus on clarity, heaviness, and a refusal to overcomplicate the message.

The vision is clear: make a record that hits hard and says exactly what it means.

PSYCHO-FRAME ARE:
Michael Sugars — Vocals
Hunter Young — Guitar + Vocals
Aiden 'Dave' Bessent — Guitar
Jordan Crain — Guitar
Colter Cuthbertson — Vocals
Leo McClain — Drums

PLAIINS Announce Debut Album "Happy Faces" Out 8/15 + Share "Row She Said"

Fiery indie punk band PLAIINS have today announced their upcoming debut album Happy Faces, set for release on August 15 via Long Branch Records

PLAIINS have been on a musical rollercoaster since their inception in late 2020. Already having played with the likes of ITCHY, Cold Years, LEAP, Press Club, and many more, the band signed with Long Branch Records of SPV in 2024. The hard-working group has already released over 20 songs to date, regularly hitting the top playlists on Spotify since the beginning, as well as garnering features on BBC Radio 1BBC IntroducingKERRANG! chart, and RBB fritz. There's no stopping their momentum as PLAIINS bring a unique blend of British punk, indie, and alt rock, pulling inspiration from the likes of IDLES, Hives, Soft Play, Bad Nerves, The Streets, and Viagra Boys.

"I wanted us to make an album that would stand the test of time, is coherent and characterful, unique and of our own, and would be a great contribution to the wonderful catalog of rock music. I have so much love, reverence, and adoration for the greats and I wanted us to at least be on that level," says singer Chris Reardon.

Along with the album news, the band has also released the new single "Row She Said.

Stream "Row She Said" here.

"'Row She Said' is a song against right wing nationalism," comments Reardon. "We talked about writing a song like this for a while. I wanted to do it with class and not [write] something lyrically one-dimensional, It had to be done poetically with layers and also [be] open for different interpretations unless you read the lyrics and also knew the context where we were coming from. They're my favorite kind of songs, especially when discussing a topic such as this."

He continues, "There are too many punk songs that tackle this subject too plainly, in my opinion, although that also has its place. But I think we really did it right on this one. 'She' in this context is the country where the protagonist is from and how they feel their country calls them and pushes them to protect their idea of sovereignty. I was writing more from the UK point of view, since it's where I'm from, especially in the wake of Brexit. But we also wrote it from the perspective where the [other] guys are from — Germany — but can apply to any country really."

When it came down to the album, Reardon explains, "We all talked about what we wanted to achieve on the album musically speaking and how we wanted to go into the process. We all reflected on what we felt we do best as a band and how we can really hone those elements in and push them to the limit. We all also wanted to add more indie elements into the music, something we've touched on but we wanted to make that more significant in the album. As well as the Britishness to the sound.

"As the singer, it was quite funny because the guys asked me why don't I sing in my normal English accent? I had never thought about it before. I always had a bit more of an American twang when I sang but that was something we opened up and of course felt very natural! In songs like 'Wooha!' and 'Snvkes.,' we had pushed this more rhythmic 'rap' like vocal style too and that was something we wanted to incorporate more. We really worked the songs and never settled for 'that will do.'

"We wanted the album to be fun and bombastic. To have lyrics that would make you laugh but once you sat down and read them would have much more lyrical depth. This is where the idea of paper bags came around. On the surface, there's a face painted on a paper bag which makes you laugh or takes you back for a moment. But when you take off the mask, there's a person underneath that takes time to know and understand and is more complex. There's an element of characterture, almost cartoonish and over blown in some of the lyrics and vocal delivery. We wanted something visual that represented that too.

"Our producer was Manuel Renner as well as mixing and mastering engineer of Ueberlaerm Studios for the album. We have worked with him since the beginning of the band and he has always been such an incredible collaborator and producer. He really helped us take the songs to the next level. We recorded the drums at Sound Pauli in Hamburg where we are based and Manuel and Tobi Schmidt did a great job. We recorded the guitars, bass, and vocals mostly at Ueberlaerm Studios and bits and pieces at my studio in Hamburg."

PLAIINS ARE:
Chris Reardon — Vocals + Guitars
Timon Lanzinger — Bass
David Suhlrie — Drums
Florian Kaninck — Guitars

Dinosaur Pile-Up Take A Swipe At Freebie Celebrity Culture On New Single "Big Dogs"

Dinosaur Pile-Up have just dropped their latest banger, the gnarly "Big Dogs," taken from their first new album in six years, I've Felt Better, which will be released on August 22 via Mascot Records

Listen to the track below

Matt Bigland relishes the "power in positivity" of the larger-than-life "Big Dogs" – a gleeful takedown of ass-backwards, celebrity freebie culture where the richest and most successful always "'eat for free' while needy nobodies scrabble for scraps."

"'Big Dogs' is a big dumb song about the fact that when you're rich and famous people give you everything for free — but when you're hustling down at the bottom, nobody gives your broke ass anything. And that doesn't make any sense!!" Bigland says. "It should surely be the other way around!! I love this song because it feels like The Viagra Boys and Pantera fucked, and then Slayer turned up for the solo. It's cool!"

The song features extra vocals from Karen Dió, Larry Hibbitt (Hundred Reasons), and Jaws The Shark. The band has revealed a skit video to accompany it: Matt vs. a big dog —check it out over the DP-U Instagram page here.

"I got to hang out with a giant Doberman for the day, which was so cool!" he says. "I love big dogs like that. Giving it a stroke was like stroking an actual horse. Then, I got to writhe on the ground for a couple hours with a leaf blower on full power pointed at my head. Which was, y'know… weird."

"Big Dogs" is the third single to be taken from the reinvigorated alt-rock heroes. In April, they dropped the raucous and defiant "My Way" and before that "'Bout to Lose It," which was their first new music since 2019's Celebrity Mansions and it announced their return in a big way. The track is five years of pent-up emotion — hope, despair, resignation, and colossal bravery—let loose into a blistering 3:40 minutes of Dinosaur Pile-Up at their absolute best.

There were six people in the ward the second time that Matt Bigland admitted himself to hospital. Three of them didn't make it out alive. It's easy to recognize why they are tightly coiled and ready to go because overcoming life-threatening illness and finding a fresh perspective on life will do that to you. As so much time has passed since their last studio album.

"People need clarity about what happened," Bigland explained. "It's been so cathartic to lay it out." He began documenting his story on the band's Instagram account in December 2024. You can see it in his own words here: Part 1 | Part 2 |Part 3 | Part 4.

I've Felt Better will be released on August 22 via Mascot Records and will be available in CD, LP and digital formats. Pre-order info here.

Jamie's Elsewhere Announce New EP + Share "Traveler" Video

JAMIE'S ELSEWHERE, featuring Of Mice & Men vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley, along with Matt Scarpelli [guitar], Chance Medeiros [bass], and Mike Spearman [keys] — are thrilled to announce the release of Alchemical, their new, five-song EP arriving June 20 via SharpTone Records. It follows the July 2023-released Paradise EP, which marked the band's first new music in almost a decade. Pre-order Alchemical here.

The band has shared the video for the new single "Traveler."

Watch the frenetic clip (and listen to the equally frenetic song) below

"We're excited to be sharing Traveler with the world," says Pauley. "From the inception of this project, we set out to make an EP that takes the listener through a familiar and nostalgic JE sound, that introduces new soundscapes and ideas that we've never explored, and that ventures everywhere in between. We want to thank our fans for the many years of support, and we hope you enjoy this EP."

About "Traveler" and the accompanying video, the band says,  "Working with Mike Matsui on the 'Traveler' music video was an incredible experience. His vision, along with his team's professionalism and creativity, truly brought the project to life in a way that exceeded all expectations."

Pauley, however, sums the new material up concisely and with confidence, saying, "Shit's rad, just listen to it."

You'd be wise to heed his command!

Jamie's Elsewhere enter an even more ambitious chapter with Alchemical. The California quartet continues to evolve its signature sound by blending emotionally charged heavy music with cinematic electronics, huge melodies, and signature intensity. This time, they craft a layered concept exploring transformation, identity, and inner alchemy — where personal growth feels as volatile and mystic as ancient science.

Since their original emergence in 2005, Jamie's Elsewhere has carved a lasting legacy with fan-favorite releases like Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints and They Said a Storm Was Coming, touring alongside genre heavyweights such as Motionless In White, Ice Nine Kills, and Memphis May Fire. After a period of dormancy, the band reignited its creative flame during the pandemic, returning in 2023 with Paradise, a conceptual comeback that reintroduced their vision with new fire. Now, Alchemical raises the bar yet again.

Heavy Rock Outfit Wucan Showcase Their Artistic Depth With New Single + Video for "KTNSAX"

Three years after the release of their studio album Heretic Tongue, the German heavy rock outfit Wucan made a strong statement in March 2025 with the single "Irons in the Fire."

Now the band is following up with the song "KTNSAX," proving their ability to develop artistically.

While "Irons in the Fire" offered a more classic rock energy, "KTNSAX" embarked on a significantly different path. The song turns out to be unexpectedly danceable and, with its straightforward beat, inevitably encourages you to tap along before the powerful, distorted guitar finally paves its energetic way.

Watch the "KTNSAX" video below

Stream the single here.

"'Farm some time, watch it grow,' that line came to me on a Monday morning in September 2024, after two weeks bedridden — and harvesting a solid 12 hours of daily screen time on my phone," says singer Francis Tobolsky. "Twelve hours a day in which I believed I was fully up to date: The latest news, trending memes, my friends' daily lunches – and yet completely disconnected from the world around me. The political climate, social media manipulation, filter bubbles, AI – these were things I needed to process.

"At first glance, it all seems so convenient: The library of the world in our hands, the ability to join any conversation, to be the discourse. And yet we hide behind carefully curated images, profiles on platforms, pretending to be someone we're not… and perhaps even falling for the façades and profit-driven illusions of others. In the end, what remains is the paradoxical truth: Blessed are the ignorant."

More info about Wucan's Europe shows here.

WUCAN ARE:
Francis Tobolsky — Vocals, Guitar, Flute, Theremin
Tim George — Guitar, Keyboards
Philip Knöfel — Drums
Alexander Karlisch — Bass

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: ACCVSED Share New Single + Video

German metalcore outfit ACCVSED have unleashed the punishing title track "Dealers of Doom" from their upcoming debut album of the same name, set for release on August 1 via Arising Empire. The single delivers a crushing mix of relentless riffs, visceral breakdowns, and anthemic vocals — a powerful statement that sets the tone for the full record.

With previous singles like "Day of the Locust," "Avoider," "Never Enough," "Don't Let Me Fall Apart," and "Killer of Minds," ACCVSED have steadily built a reputation as one of Germany's most promising heavy acts. Each release has amplified their momentum, drawing acclaim for their emotionally raw songwriting and explosive live energy.

"Dealers of Doom" cements the band's vision — unfiltered, intense, and unafraid to confront the darkest corners of the human experience. The debut album is poised to make a serious impact.

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: Awake The Dreamer Share New Single + Video

Swedish metalcore force Awake The Dreamer return with a bang, unveiling both a crushing new single and a revitalized lineup for 2025.

After years of searching, Andrén proudly declares this to be the definitive version of Awake The Dreamer, perfectly poised to elevate the band's sound to new heights.

With work underway on their third album, Andrén promises "the most groundbreaking and unique material ATD has ever produced," staying true to the band's roots while pushing the genre's boundaries.

"Years Begin To Fade" offers a first glimpse into this powerful new chapter — and it's only the beginning.

Ryan Woods Shares New Single "Good Swim"

FEARLESS RECORDS artist Ryan Woods has shared the new single "Good Swim."

Watch the lyric video below.

"I actually wrote 'Good Swim' for a family member's wedding," Woods shares. "It started off as a poem, and though I had never experienced love enough to get married, it was inspired by an idyllic version of it. I asked myself, 'If I were so in love with somebody that I would marry them, what would that feel like?' I think it would feel like a 'good swim' on a hot summer day. Refreshing, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Like a vacation from life itself. A safe place to unwind and not think about the world, and simply rejoice in the love that we have for each other. A place where fear has little power, and the courage to dive into it is celebrated and rewarded."

Woods finishes, "Love is complex and far from easy, but so is swimming. It gets easier the more you do it. You grow stronger and faster, and once you learn how to swim, it's very difficult to drown."

Indeed, "Good Swim" is your feel good hit of your summer. Kicking off with a lilting and dreamy piano melody, the kind that makes you wake up with a smile only our face, it slowly builds to a pretty, mid-tempo, bedroom-y pop jam. Woods is an old soul with a thoroughly modern lean — he's essentially a Gen Z troubadour! The song's '70s inspired melodies and his delightfully saccharine voice are ALL the serotonin boosters you need.

Woods previously shared "Full Speed Ahead."

The singer will also play a show at The Echo in Los Angeles on July 30, with Jack Newsome. Get tickets here.

ABOUT RYAN WOODS:
After one listen, it would be easy to assume Ryan Woods fell from the heavens and landed smack dab in the middle of modern pop music and culture. He defies genres and eras with an otherworldly je ne sais quoi. Flaunting a sky-high range and head-turning fashion sense, Woods exudes a swaggering gusto befitting of your favorite '70s rock star, yet he opens up with a level of candor decidedly intrinsic to Gen Z. Musically, he laces D.I.Y. pop with psychedelic experimentation and existential ruminations that are both provocative and catchy. Initially, he gained traction with covers on social media, even inciting a retweet from Shawn Mendes. Woods has cultivated his signature style by logging countless hours in both Nashville and Los Angeles sessions. "Bad Texter" was a breakthrough moment in 2021 — reeling in over 28 million Spotify streams and counting, it paved the way for his King of the Basement EP. Of the latter, Thomas Bleach raved, "This EP highlights that growth and introspective manner that has made him an artist you need to keep an eye on," while INTERSECT Magazine applauded, "Woods' lyrics are poetic, witty, and most of all, authentic." Now partnered with Fearless, Woods is ready to bring his dreamy compositions, which are so much more than bedroom pop, to an even wider audience.

Sinsaenum Return With Third Album "In Devastation" Out 8/8 + Share Video for Title Track

Extreme metal supergroup Sinsaenum have announced their long-awaited return with the release of their crushing new single, "In Devastation," the title track of their forthcoming third studio album, due out later this year via earMUSIC.

The release marks the band's first new material since the tragic passing of legendary drummer Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Murderdolls) in 2021. Both the single and album serve as a cathartic tribute to Jordison and to guitarist and founder Frédéric Leclercq's late father, whose deaths profoundly shaped the emotional and creative direction of the project.

"I was devastated, hence the title of this album," Leclercq explains. "But we knew we had to carry on. This record is our tribute to my father, to Joey, and to anyone who's ever had to find strength in their darkest moments."

Listen to the new single here.

Watch the new music video below.

In Devastation is a 10-track tour de force of blackened death metal infused with Sinsaenum's signature melodic ferocity and experimental edge. Produced and mixed by acclaimed German audio engineer Lasse Lammert, the album explores new sonic territory for the band, blending intricate progressive elements, clean vocals, and even cello — without ever compromising their brutal core.

Joining Leclercq on this latest chapter are returning members Attila Csihar (Mayhem), Sean Zatorsky (Dååth), Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast), and Heimoth (Seth). Stepping in behind the kit is Andre Joyzi, formerly Jordison's tech and a trusted member of the band's touring family — chosen not only for his skills, but for the emotional connection he brings to continuing Jordison's legacy.

Tracks like "Obsolete and Broken" and "The Last Goodbye" showcase the band's musical and emotional evolution, from raw aggression to haunting reflection. Leclercq describes the latter as "the most personal we've done," while songs like "Shades of Black" and "Over the Red Wall" push the band into new anthemic and speed-driven territory.

Following the critically acclaimed Echoes of the Tortured (2016) and Repulsion for Humanity (2018), In Devastation cements Sinsaenum's place at the vanguard of modern metal — a band forged in grief but fueled by defiance.

Fox Lake Announce "NEW WORLD HEAT" ALBUM + Share "Pure Adrenaline" Video

Born in the mile-high city of Denver, FOX LAKE bring an elevated and energetic sound to the heavy music scene. The band formed back in 2017 as friends jamming in their basement, looking to branch out from the standard metalcore sound by incorporating elements of their favorite genres — hardcore, hip-hop, and rock 'n' roll.

Through the present, FOX LAKE continue to level up by delivering a musical brass-knuckled punch to the face that lands on anyone in their proximity.

Today, the band has announced its new album NEW WORLD HEAT. It arrives August 1 via MNRK HEAVY. Pre-order it here or here.

Fox Lake have also shared the video for the plate-shifting new single "Pure Adrenaline." Bolstered by thick-as-thieves grooves, a boatload of bounce, confident vocal swagger mixed with furious screams, and an onslaught of rhythmic aftershocks, "Pure Adrenaline" will reverberate pits from coast to coast.

With this song, Fox Lake prove they are beyond ready for their moment.

Watch the video below.

"Even though 'Pure Adrenaline' didn't come together until the latter half of the recording process for the album, most of the ingredients existed as far back as 2021," the band shares, revealing the single's origin story. "The majority of the instrumental demo was written years ago, and the lyrics and energy were conceptualized in our first few conversations about what we wanted to bring to this album.

"We all came together and unanimously agreed that we wanted the new songs to be faster, more visceral, more concrete, and most importantly, all gas, no brakes. Pure f**king adrenaline."

No brakes whatsoever!

Reading the lyrics throughout New World Heat, Fox Lake reveal the redemptive theme at the album's beating heart, saying, "The basic concept of the album is about burning things down in order to restart. It's about who you are versus who you want to be. The world you live in versus the world you want to live in. It takes guts to strip everything away and take a hard, honest look at your life and the world around you."

They continue, "Everyone has things that hold them down and things that seem to hold their reality in place. Habits, social circles, vices, beliefs, political systems, traumas, etc. Those things will be different for everyone. But the one constant is that action begets action and inaction begets inaction. You either drown in complacency or burn parts of yourself away to create a better world. We all have a choice. Musically, we felt like this concept fit perfectly with where we were at. We all have different inspirations that we want to bring into Fox Lake. It can be tricky to mesh together all the genres that we're inspired by while still having an original sound."

The band finishes, "So, for this record, we burned down the limitations we had previously put on ourselves and restarted our writing process with a singular goal — to sound like Fox Lake. The end result is an album that we're extremely excited about and that feels very authentic to us. The music is faster, heavier, groovier, and catchier than ever before. It's a new sound for a new world. Everyone is going to have different opinions on whether the band is more hardcore, nu-metal, rock, or metalcore. But everyone's gonna know it's Fox Lake."

Burn, baby, burn, and let the phoenix arise from the ashes in the form of Fox Lake and New World Heat. Reboot, renew, and rise to the top.

Fox Lake will embark on plenty of touring in support of New World Heat. Stay tuned for more details on the band's road treks.

Behemoth Premiere Video For "Sowing Salt" + Album "The Shit Ov God" Out NOW

To celebrate the release of their critically acclaimed new studio album, The Shit Ov God, which is out now, Poland's kings of extreme metal, BEHEMOTH, have unleashed a stunning music video for their latest single "Sowing Salt."

NERGAL says, "'Sowing Salt' is arguably one of the most brutal compositions in Behemoth's catalogue to date. Unrelenting. Unapologetic. Absolute.
The video was directed by Zev Deans, with whom we've had the pleasure to collaborate before. He's crafted a visual that powerfully completes the song — musically and lyrically. And the lyrics? Just as radical and confrontational as music itself."

With the post-apocalyptic and retro-futuristic imagery that dominates the clip, BEHEMOTH enter new territory without sacrificing the visual leitmotif and thematic virulence they have established over the course of their more than three-decade-long career. Scroll down to watch the video for "Sowing Salt".

And don't forget to check out The Shit Ov God — BEHEMOTH's most inflammatory and extreme record to date!

NERGAL comments, "Nearly 35 years in, thirteen albums deep — that's a hell of a journey. And now, with full honesty and open veins, we give you this:
The Shit Ov God is upon you. The new era begins as we bled for this monumental labor! Take this, all of you, eat and drink from it for this is our body given up for you! Rejoice!"

Levels Share Video for "Strange Things"

SharpTone Records welcomed Central Arkansas-based quartet Levels — Kolby Carignan [vocals], Jager Felice [guitar], Jacob Hubbard [bass], and Dalton Kennerly [drums] — to its global roster back in 2023. The band dropped  Pulse EP last year. Get it here.

Levels are back with their first taste of new music in a year in the form of the video for "Strange Things."

Watch it below

"'Strange Things' captures the chaos, irony, and dark humor of a world spiraling out of control," explains the band. "It's a raw reflection societal and personal collapse; blending apocalyptic imagery with a rebellious spirit and a grim sense of liberation. It's about facing the end with your eyes open, a drink in hand, and no apologies."

Raise a pint, then! The song's industrial crunch and thick and hefty grooves will push it to the top of any workout playlist!

LEVELS are a cyber/industrial metal boy band from Arkansas known for fusing heavy music with elements of pop, electronic, and drum and bass. Since forming in 2016, they have independently amassed millions of streams, drawing influence from artists as diverse as Billie Eilish, The Prodigy, Static-X, and The Weeknd.

Following the success of their 2023 EP Pulse on SharpTone Records, which surpassed 1 million streams, LEVELS aren't adding to the noise; they're building something new, sharp, and unapologetically their own. Their sound fuses digital grit with raw emotion: Fark, distorted, and built to break through the static. LEVELS have built their rise on a fierce DIY ethic, steadily growing from small rooms to bigger stages, playing alongside bands such as Kittie, ERRA, Beartooth, The Devil Wears Prada, and more. LEVELS are more than a band. Their ever evolving world is built from cinematic visuals, visceral performances, and immersive storytelling, standing out in a hyper-connected yet emotionally disconnected era. With each track, they seek to reignite authentic connection. As they continue to carve their path through the metal landscape, their mission remains clear: don’t bury emotion – embrace it, channel it, and turn it into something that makes you feel again.

Wolves at the Gate Drop "DEATH CLOCK" Video

Wolves at the Gate will release new album Wasteland on May 30 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it here

The band has shared the video for "DEATH CLOCK."

Watch it below

The track is a moody rage, loaded with arena-sized hooks that keep pace throughout the entirety of the song. Ultimately, "DEATH CLOCK" will have fans bouncing and jumping up and down as if they were at a party celebrating the end of the world. It lyrically looks at the inevitable fate that awaits us all.

"'Death Clock' describes the world inside of your head," the band states. "Everyone undoubtedly thinks about death. The song is just being honest when it comes to the fact we all die and how it makes us feel. We wanted it to sound like you're racing against a clock."

Wolves At The Gate have quietly and naturally evolved since their emergence out of the Midwest in 2008. Their vision unfolded across albums such as Captors [2012], VxV [2014], Types & Shadows [2016], Eclipse [2019], and Eulogies [2022]. Blabbermouth rated the latter "9.0-out-of-10.0," while mxdwn summed it up as "powerfully moving." Along the way, the group tallied tens of millions of streams fueled by the likes of "Counterfeit," "Deadman," "Lowborn," "Peace That Starts The War," and more. Not to mention, they've performed alongside everyone from The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Red to Fit For A King, August Burns Red, and Born Of Osiris. In 2024, a core idea screamed out to guitarist Steve Cobucci, shaping the creative direction of the band's next evolution. It slowly, but surely seeped into the DNA of the music and his words.

"As I was working on the album and especially the lyrics, I began to realize that the Wasteland was a metaphor for a frame of mind that I don't want to live in, but a world I feel myself drawn back into over and over again," Cobucci reveals. "I hate it. It's a world of empty promises. It's a mirage. A counterfeit."

The musicians carefully pieced together what would become Wasteland. Cobucci co-produced the 13-track body of work with Josh Gilbert of Spiritbox, while the band recorded in New Jersey, San Diego, and Los Angeles. This time around, they added multiple dimensions to their signature sound, layering intriguing interludes and electronic overtures into the framework.

WOLVES AT THE GATE ARE:
Steve Cobucci — Vocals/Guitar
Nick Detty — Vocals
Joey Alarcon — Guitar
Abishai Collingsworth — Drums
Ben Summers — Bass
