Finnish Rock Band SHIRAZ LANE Announces New Album ‘In Vertigo’ Set for Release on October 24, 2025 via Frontiers Music Srl

Today, the Finnish rock band SHIRAZ LANE is pleased to announce the release of their new studio album, 'In Vertigo,' on October 24, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. To celebrate the announcement, the band also shares its new single “Come Alive” alongside a visualizer, available below.

SHIRAZ LANE comments on the new track:

'Come Alive' is the perfect summer banger built on an irresistible groove. It’s the ultimate soundtrack for letting loose and living in the heat of the moment. The track has all the elements for a true SHIRAZ LANE classic - a quirky, distinctive guitar riff, seductive song structure, and an anthemic singalong chorus. The explosive production and addictive hooks make it a standout song. With this wild and untamed energy, we invite you to 'Come Alive' with us and enjoy the rush of pure Rock N’ Roll!”

Check Out the Visualizer for "Come Alive"

‘In Vertigo’ marks a bold new chapter in SHIRAZ LANE’s evolution. It’s an ambitious, modern, and emotionally charged rock album born from relentless creativity, exploration and collaboration.

'In Vertigo' was produced and co-written once again by longtime collaborator Per Aldeheim(Def Leppard, H.E.A.T, Pain). Packed with razor-sharp hooks, soaring melodies and high-octane attitude, 'In Vertigo' pushes the band’s sound into exciting new territory, fusing pop-metal energy with a modern production edge and fearless genre crossovers.

Preceded by the explosive singles “Dangerous,” “Bullsh!t,” and the emotionally charged “Plastic Heart,” the album showcases SHIRAZ LANE’s evolution while staying true to their raw rock roots.

With Aldeheim’s polished yet powerful production and standout performances by Hannes Kett (vocals), Jani Laine (lead guitar), Miki Kalske (rhythm guitar), Joel Alex (bass), and Ana Vilkkumaa (drums), 'In Vertigo' is the band’s most daring and dynamic release to date.

Brilliantly unpredictable and unapologetically melodic, 'In Vertigo' proves that SHIRAZ LANEis not just riding the wave of modern melodic rock, they’re reshaping it!

Pre-Order 'In Vertigo' HERE

Hailing from Vantaa, Finland, SHIRAZ LANE started their musical journey in 2011. Their vision of a perfect blend of sonic combustion and elegant delicacy started to blossom and reach its potential when the current line-up was solidified in 2014 and the band released their first EP'Be The Slave Or Be The Change.'

The band gained great international attention from the very beginning, and soon the young Finns were flying from Japan to South America, playing in Europe’s coolest clubs & summer festivals and had their warm first contact also with the US audience on the Monsters of Rockcruise.

SHIRAZ LANE resonates through their double-edged guitar sound (provided by Jani Laineand Miki Kalske), percussive ground-pounding clockwork (Ana Vilkkumaa, drums & Joel Alex, bass) and the supersonic melodies chanted by lead singer Hannes Kett. They are one of the most intriguing and entertaining bands in the current Hard Rock scene, bringing in a fresh breeze in terms of both compositions and live performance.

In addition to their debut EP, other most notable releases include the albums 'For Crying Out Loud,' 'Carnival Days,' 'Vibration I,' 'Forgotten Shades Of Life' and 'Acoustic Archives.'

Although wearing inspiration and paying homage to their predecessors, the sound and style of SHIRAZ LANE is unique, bold and contemporary. This has manifested in collaborations such as extensive international touring (sharing stages with bands such as KISS, Deep Purple, H.E.A.T & Crashdïet), national TV appearances, the gaming world and, most importantly, an exponentially growing & dedicated fanbase around the world.

SHIRAZ LANE are:

Hannes Kett – Vocals

Jani Laine – Guitar

Miki Kalske – Guitar

Joel Alex – Bass

Ana Vilkkumaa – Drums

High-Octane Hard Rockers BLACK WATER RISING Announce New Album 'The Edge' Due Out August 15th

Today, high-octane hard rockers BLACK WATER RISING are excited to announce the release of their new album, 'The Edge,' due out August 15th via their own imprint Capital T Productions. To celebrate the announcement, BWR has released their new single, "Slow Slide," alongside a music video, available below.

"Slow Slide" is the fifth single from the upcoming album 'The Edge,' and the video was once again directed by Tom Flynn (Lamb Of God, Buck Cherry).

Drummer Mike Meselsohn reflects on the single:

"It was great working with Tom again on this new video. The song is mainly about the descent into addiction, so we came up with the idea to use some Breaking Bad type of imagery as a loose concept to illustrate that theme. With that, Tom was also able to capture the live energy of the band while creating a visually stunning compliment to the song and lyrics!"

Watch the Music Video for "Slow Slide"

BLACK WATER RISING's fourth album, 'The Edge,' will be available on all digital platforms, with CDs offered through the merch store on their official website.

The album artwork and CD packaging were created by renowned stoner rock artist Mirkow Gastow, known for his work with Pentagram, Zakk Sabbath, Witchcraft, and many others. 'The Edge' also marks the band’s first release since their 2010 debut to feature original guitarist John Fattoruso, who rejoined BWR in late 2019.

Musically, the new material leans more melodic while staying true to the band’s riff-heavy foundation, delivering memorable hooks and choruses, all while carving out a sound that remains distinctly their own.

Singer/Guitarist Rob Traynor comments on the album:

“It’s been a while since our last album, so we’re beyond psyched to be releasing more new music! We’ve dropped some singles over the last few years, and now the rest of the album is done and ready to roll. I also tried a few different things in the studio, with a slightly fuzzier guitar tone—but overall, it’s the same BWR sound you’ve come to expect, just with even more riffs and rants this time around!”

About BLACK WATER RISING:

BLACK WATER RISING is a collection of soul baring, angst ridden, riff heavy material that is proudly anchored in the foundations of traditional hard rock song writing — giant guitar driven monster riffs served up on a bed of crushing grooves with soaring melodic vocals and big hooks. Basically, NO FRILLS RIFF ROCK!

Lyrically, the message is socially and politically driven by the dark times we live in. With darkness seemingly growing by the day, BLACK WATER RISING is a name that fits this band like a glove. The philosophy of BWR is simple, they are not looking to reinvent the wheel, they just want to give it a much needed alignment in these musically stale times.

The band's discography includes the self-titled 'Black Water Rising' (2010), an album that achieved the number one slot on Amazon's Hard rock chart upon release, 'Pissed and Driven' (2013)an honest, barebones rock album that climbed rock/metal charts, and their third full album, 'Electrified' (2017), with its first single charting on Billboard's Indicator Chart.

BLACK WATER RISING are:

Rob Traynor - Vocals/Guitar

Mike Meselsohn - Drums

Oddie McLaughlin - Bass

John Fattoruso - Guitar

LORNA SHORE Releases New Single & Video For “Unbreakable,” From Upcoming Album “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me” Out Sept 12 Via Century Media Records

After the rousing reaction to “Oblivion” in recent weeks, Lorna Shore are offering another taste of their upcoming album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me with second single, “Unbreakable” released today alongside a new music video, directed by Eric Richter. See it Below. The launch is also accompanied by a brand-new merch collection, available HERE.

Says vocalist Will Ramos of the anthemic track, “’Unbreakable’ is a very triumphant, all-inclusive song written to bring people together for a beautiful moment where they can realize that no matter what this world throws at us, it will never break us down. We and our bonds are unbreakable.”

I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me is the band’s fifth album and the first in three years since 2022’s explosive Pain Remains. It’s set for release on September 12 via Century Media Records and will continue Lorna Shore’s reputation as one of the most impressive extreme metal acts to emerge in recent memory.

The quintet, also including lead guitarist Adam De Micco, drummer Austin Archey, rhythm guitarist Andrew O'Connor and bassist Michael Yager, have hit the viral Spotify charts, racked up hundreds of millions of streams, embarked on highly successful tours and in the process, galvanized a significant fanbase that hangs onto the band’s quest for stylistic inversion. But by virtue of physical onslaught and wanting to divine truth from their music, Lorna Shore have kept themselves fired up by torching the metal rulebook at every turn, practically demanding that other genres step up their game.

I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me will be available in multiple formats including digital, CD and limited-edition vinyl variants. Fans can pre-save the album HERE and find their preferred physical and digital retailer HERE.

Lorna Shore will bring tracks from I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me and other hits on the road beginning in September, joined by The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow Of Intent and PeelingFlesh in a tour produced by Live Nation. Tickets are on sale now.

AMONG THE BODIES Unleash Feral New Single and Harrowing Music Video Ahead Of Cathartic EP

Denver Colorado's "AMONG THE BODIES"  have returned with their new song "Meant For Each Other".

The band comments, "Our new single is about losing a close friend to a new relationship. The music video tells the story and captures the roller coaster of emotions that come along with it, while also highlighting the personalities of the band members."

The song's brutal blend of deathcore, hardcore and metalcore is a perfect primer for their upcoming EP Making Sense of Our Decay, which is out on June 27th.

AMONG THE BODIES is:
Raye - drums
Mac - guitar
Keith - vocals
Addison - bass

About AMONG THE BODIES:

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Among the Bodies aren’t afraid of anything—including the liminal space between hardcore, deathcore, death metal, and metalcore, which is where they’re most comfortable. While the riffs may be hard to classify, they aren’t hard to mosh to. Appealing to both the old heads who saw deathcore and metalcore storm the scene and the new generation that embraces experimentation, Among the Bodies’ number-one goal is to keep it heavy while having fun.

Making Sense of Our Decay, their second EP, is a bit of a departure from the first EP, Chaotic Intent, which focused more on technicality and melody. Now, with their revised lineup, Among the Bodies are here to make you forget about genre conventions and lose yourself in the pit. While the subject matter on the EP gets a bit serious, delving into the realities of being an aging metalhead or hardcore kid, it’s all done with a tongue-in-cheek attitude and a love for heavy music reminiscent of the genre’s forefathers. We’re all decaying slowly, so why not have fun while doing it?

PLAIINS Drop New Single "C'est La Vie" Off Debut Album "Happy Faces"

Fiery indie punk band PLAIINS have released new single "C'est La Vie."

It's the fourth track from their upcoming debut album Happy Faces, set for release on August 15 via Long Branch Records

"'C'est La Vie' is about my excitement to move to Hamburg and take the plunge," says frontman Chris Reardon. "I was so sick of London at that point. The cost of the city and the difficulty of breaking into the industry. Meetings with labels and deals on the table, the excitement then nothing, over and over to the point that I set up my own label and started releasing music and getting out there. But it was tough and I was so ready to leave."

Stream "C'est La Vie" and pre-order the album here.

PLAIINS have been on a steamroller since their inception in late 2020. Having played with the likes of ITCHY, Cold Years, LEAP, Press Club, and many more, the band in 2024 signed with Long Branch Records/SPV and is pleased to soon present their debut album Happy Faces. The hard-working group has already released over 20 songs to date, regularly hitting the top playlists on Spotify

"I wanted us to make an album that would stand the test of time, is coherent and characterful, unique and of our own and would be a great contribution to the wonderful catalogue of rock music. I have so much love, reverence and adoration for the greats and I wanted us to at least be on that level," says Reardon.

PLAIINS ARE:
Chris Reardon — Vocals + Guitars
Timon Lanzinger — Bass
David Suhlrie — Drums
Florian Kaninck — Guitars

Out Friday from ONSLAUGHT!

There is no doubt that ONSLAUGHT are the undisputed kings of UK Thrash and one of the original pioneers of the Thrash Metal genre in general. Having issued seven studio albums and two live albums to date, ONSLAUGHT were originally formed in 1982 by songwriter/guitarist Nige Rockett and Paul Hill.

The band rapidly established themselves globally with a series of classic album releases in the 1980s: Power From Hell (1985), The Force (1986), and In Search of Sanity(1989).

Renowned for writing neck-breaking metal anthems such as “Power From Hell,” “Metal Forces,” “Killing Peace,” “66’Fucking’6,” and “Bow Down to the Clowns,” ONSLAUGHT’s songs still stand as ferocious, mosh-pit-inducing favourites across generations of dedicated metalheads—a true testament to the quality of music that ONSLAUGHT has consistently created throughout their long and illustrious career.

As an internationally recognized heavy metal powerhouse, ONSLAUGHT have played in over 70 countries across the globe—from Lebanon to Latvia, Argentina to China—appearing at the most prestigious festivals on the planet and headlining countless tours and shows worldwide.

Building a truly dedicated and loyal following since the band’s inception, fans were rewarded by seeing ONSLAUGHT inducted into the prestigious Metal Hall of Fame during their performance at the Maryland Death Fest in 2022—a fitting accolade for delivering over four decades of fury and aggression.

ONSLAUGHT have been honored to feature three world-class vocalists over the years, each playing their part in taking the band to new levels of popularity. There was, of course, Sy Keeler, featured on The Force (1986), Killing Peace (2007), Sounds of Violence (2011), and VI (2013), and the legendary Steve Grimmett, whose iconic vocals graced the 1989 release In Search of Sanity. Currently, Dave Garnett brings a whole new level of energy and brutality to the band's sound, receiving huge plaudits for his performance on the critically acclaimed 2020 album, Generation Antichrist.

As the band's ubiquitous guitarist and founding member, Nige Rockett serves as the undeniably brutal riffing machine—vowing to make each new ONSLAUGHT record sound more violent and relentless than the last. The band's longstanding bastion of bass, Jeff Williams, with his distinctive, thunderous low-end, pulls the entire wall of sound together, laying down a solid foundation alongside the dynamic and incendiary drumming of James Perry. James joined ONSLAUGHT in 2018, the same year that lead guitarist Wayne Dorman came on board. Their addition brought a wave of new energy and intensity to the band, giving ONSLAUGHT complete freedom to create extreme music like never before. This was evident on the band's 2020 release, Generation Antichrist, arguably ONSLAUGHT's most successful album to date—charting high in all major territories and reaching #1 on the US Indie/College charts.

In 2024, ONSLAUGHT signed a new long-term recording contract with metal giants Reigning Phoenix Music, seeking a fresh challenge with a partner that shares the same drive and ambition as the band.

The first release under RPM will be a very special double album to celebrate the inception of the band and the 40th anniversary of ONSLAUGHT's debut album, Power From Hell.

Titled Origins of Aggression, the release will contain 22 tracks in total across a double album format. Disc 1 features re-recordings of the most important ONSLAUGHT tracks from the early years, while Disc 2 consists of punk and metal cover versions that shaped ONSLAUGHT into the band they are today—songs that were jammed at rehearsals and tracks that inspired the band to pick up an instrument and play. It’s a fascinating sonic journey that tells the story of how the band came into existence.

As ONSLAUGHT approach yet another year of thrash metal history-making, the band is gearing up for the 2025 World Tour to promote Origins of Aggression and celebrate this landmark anniversary.

This is a very exciting new chapter for everyone in the ONSLAUGHT camp—with more news, more releases, more tours, and more important shows to come.

See you in the pit!

East-West fusion outfit TIAN QIYI presents 'Watch The Sunrise', heralding sophomore album 'Songs For Workers'

Genre-defying UK-based music outfit Tian Qiyi are back this summer with their sophomore album 'Songs For Workers', to be released via Pagoda Records, having already generated plays from Gideon Coe, Mark Riley and Stuart Maconie on BBC 6 Music, and from John Kennedy on Radio X London.

Tian Qiyi presents 'Watch The Sunrise', the stunning lead track to their new 10-track collection and an introduction to their groundbreaking musical journey, which bridges generations and cultures, blending deep dub grooves with Chinese and Celtic traditions.

More than just a band, Tian Qiyi brings together brothers John Tian Qi Wardle and Charlie Tian Yi Wardle with their father, legendary bassist Jah Wobble (John Wardle). The band's unique sound reflects their rich family heritage, blending their father's pioneering work in post-punk and dub with the Chinese cultural influences of their mother, Zilan Liao.

"'Watch the Sunrise' draws from the folk traditions we grew up learning from our grandad. It’s a melody-driven track, grounded by a steady beat throughout. Charlie gets to show off his string skills, layering four different bowed instruments from China and Mongolia, adding a rich, textured sound that pays homage to our East Asian roots," says John Tian Qi Wardle.

Building on the foundation of their acclaimed 2024 debut album 'Red Mist', with standout singles 'Red Mist' and 'Incantation', The Wardle brothers continue to forge a sound that blends dub, post-punk, and experimental production with rich influences from Traditional Chinese, Mongolian, and Irish music.

"With 'Sunrise', we wanted to explore a more structured songwriting approach different to the rest of the album — a song with defined verses and a chorus, without leaning too far into a commercial sound. The idea for the main melody came after I’d been listening to a lot of traditional music from Xinjiang; I was drawn to how expressive and rhythmically rich it was, and how it carried this feeling of movement and openness. When I brought the melody to John back in England, he started playing the rhythm that now drives the track," says Charlie Tian Yi Wardle.

"Lyrically, I wanted to explore spiritual, mainly Buddhist ideas. In ‘watching the sunrise’, with night turning to day and dark to light, we understand there is an interdependence necessary in order for either word to hold any conceptual meaning. Similarly, I wanted to explore the interdependence between life and death, rationality and faith, and the role of the ego, perception and the idea of a self/non self within this."

'Songs for Workers' represents the next evolution in Tian Qiyi's mission to create border-crossing musical experiences that honour their diverse influences while crafting something uniquely their own, further exploring the intersection of traditional Asian and Celtic soundscapes with contemporary dub production techniques.

John Tian Qi handles all drumming and percussion - both Eastern and Western - on the album. Charlie Wardle’s unique vocal style is to the fore, as is his incredible musical dexterity on traditional Chinese and Mongolian instruments, bringing a funky and, at times, psychedelic quality to the music, in addition to that which is expressly traditional.

Jah Wobble plays bass on most of the album’s tracks, while John Tian Qi contributes bass on 'Luoyang' and 'Siege' and synth / Moog bass on 'Watch The Sunrise', highlighting Tian Qiyi's growing creative independence and production chops.

Fully produced by Tian Qiyi, 'Songs For Workers' marks a bold step forward in their cross-cultural, multi-generational musical journey. Rooted in heritage and driven by experimentation, their sound is shaped by the magnetic tension between ancient tradition and dub futurism, East and West, land and spirit—a musical space that is uniquely their own.

Drawing inspiration from Miles Davis's groundbreaking electric period and the experimental spirit of Krautrock, the band creates expansive, boundary-pushing soundscapes that defy easy categorization. Jah Wobble's involvement adds a deep, distinctive dub foundation to the family's cross-cultural vision, while the brothers' mastery of traditional Chinese instruments reflects their maternal heritage.

The duo's name itself carries deep personal significance, combining elements of the brothers' middle names: "Tian," shared by both siblings, paired with "Qi" (meaning "together") and "Yi" (meaning "one"). This linguistic fusion mirrors their musical approach, where disparate elements unite to create something entirely new—much like their parents' union of Eastern and Western cultural traditions.

On May 9, 'Watch The Sunrise' is available on fine digital platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp. The full 'Songs for Workers' album will be released on June 28 and is now available for pre-order.

Whiskey Myers Add 'What We Were Born To Do Tour' Dates; New Album Due Sept. 26

Following a high-octane performance in front of an at-capacity Stagecoach crowd this past weekend – including a debut of their brand new single, “Time Bomb” – Whiskey Myers announces new dates for their What We Were Born To Do Tour spanning the country throughout 2025. Presales begin tomorrow, April 29, at 10 a.m. local time for Whiskey Myers app users with tickets on sale to the general public this Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. local time via WhiskeyMyers.com.

The news follows last week’s announcement of Whomp Whack Thunder, the band’s highly anticipated seventh studio album set to release Sept. 26 via their own Wiggy Thump Records. Channeling the spirit of classic rock through a modern Southern lens – roaring guitars, thunderous drums and lyrics that cut deep – the album is available to pre-order/pre-save HERE

Celebrated by POLLSTAR as “an outlier of alt-country with more thrust, Southern cousin of The Black Keys or spiritual grandchild of Waylon and Willie’s outlaw country,” the genre-defying band will be joined by Bayker Blankenship, Kashus Culpepper, Wade Bowen, Landon Smith, Charles Wesley Godwin, Dexter & The Moonrocks and Colton Bowlin across the slate of new dates – including a special weekend of shows spanning their September album release week.

In addition to the What We Were Born To Do Tour kicking off June 6, Whiskey Myers will also co-headline 15 dates of the Live in 25 Tour with Tedeschi Trucks Band later this year. The six-piece will also headline their own personally curated festivals; the seventh annual Wiggy Thump Festival on May 10 in their hometown of Palestine, Texas and the inaugural Moon Crush “Whiskey Moon” music vacation taking over Miramar Beach, Fla. Nov. 7-9.

Genre-bending band Whiskey Myers have played nearly 3,000 live shows to ever-increasing crowd sizes since their emergence in 2007. Ian Munsick Announces 3rd Album ‘Eagle Feather,’ Due April 18, 2025

With the 2023 release of his sophomore album White Buffalo, Wyoming native Ian Munsick spread the Rocky Mountain gospel with his raw, untamed depiction of the American West. Expanding on the concepts of the land, people, culture and stories that inspire him, Munsick is readying the project’s follow-up, announcing his 20-track third studio album, Eagle Featherdue on April 18, 2025 via Warner Music Nashville.

While the white buffalo represents prosperity and rebirth, the eagle feather is inspired by the native symbol representing honor, strength and wisdom, and serves as a continuation of his sophomore project by highlighting Munsick’s personal growth through life experiences and lessons learned that have shaped him into who he is.

Eagle Feather is a tribute to a sacred way of life. One that epitomizes the voice of country music, yet is rarely heard among the masses,” Munsick reflects on the album’s concept. “Every one of these 20 songs is rooted in true, personal experiences that have helped create the man I am today. I offer this body of work to anyone that loves the freedom that inspires our spirit when we look over a sunset on the mountain. Or the sanctity of returning to the people and places we care about the most. May you both receive and gift your Eagle Feather.”

Produced by Munsick, Jared Conrad and Jeremy Spillman, Eagle Feather features 20 tracks, including duets with Lainey Wilson and Flatland Cavalry lead singer Cleto Cordero, with songwriter credits by fellow singer/songwriters Caitlyn Smith and Stephen Wilson Jr. as well as two rare outside cuts in “Drink Around” and today’s release, “Horses Not Hearts.”

Available today and written by Andy Albert, Michael Tyler and Ben Stennis, “Horses Not Hearts” debunks the common trope that often paints cowboys as heartbreakers on the run. “All the best cowboys I know are men of character. People that you’d want as your neighbor,” Munsick observes, “but somewhere along the trail, cowboys got a reputation of being heartbreaking outlaws who run recklessly through the world. I thought it was time to set the record straight… real cowboys break horses, not hearts.”

Munsick followed the release of White Buffalo with a coinciding documentary in 2024 titled White Buffalo: Voices of the West, expanding on the album’s concept by exploring the modern-day relationship between cowboys, ranchers and Native American tribes, and how they often rely on each other to live off the land out west. The documentary received 19 awards and 14 film festival selections, and was recently named Best Documentary of 2024 by Cowboys & Indians. The Crow Tribe officially adopted Munsick last year during his sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut following his work with them on the documentary.

Munsick is currently headlining his spring 2025 Horses Are Faster Tour featuring a rotating lineup of support including Colby Acuff, Avery Anna, Chayce Beckham, Bayker Blankenship, Kashus Culpepper, Hudson Westbrook and Jake Worthington. In 2024, Munsick opened on select dates of Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again Tour and supported Morgan Wallen on select dates of his record-setting One Night At A Time Tour.

Underoath announces new album

Underoath, the iconic and genre-defining band, has once again shattered expectations with their forthcoming album, 'The Place After This One,' to be released March 28, 2025 via MNRK Heavy. Renowned for their ability to transform chaos into harmony and aggression into anthemic survival, the Florida-based group delivers a record that promises to redefine heavy music and expand their already massive audience. With two RIAA certified gold albums, three Grammy nominations, and a legacy of uncompromising authenticity, Underoath is back—and they’re louder, bolder, and more essential than ever, while continuing to push boundaries in ways that few bands dare.

'The Place After This One' marks a truly momentous occasion in the band's history. It is a stunning document and a remarkable collection of songs, signaling a renaissance period in the beloved act’s storied career. The album showcases where they’re from, and more importantly, where they're headed. It's a masterpiece, from musicians at the top of their game. Sonically, its references are varied and complex, and is a distillation of everything they’ve accomplished thus far: a crystalline vision blending hard rock, electronic experimentation, guttural screams and anthemic, call-to-arms choruses.

Following a string of new singles beginning last year—including “Generation No Surrender,” “Survivor’s Guilt,” and “Teeth”—the band returns today with a punishing new song from their upcoming album, “All The Love Is Gone,” alongside its accompanying music video.

Speaking on the song , vocalist Spencer Chamberlain calls it “...one of the most out-there songs we've ever written. We really wanted to create a track that was drum-and-bass-driven, kind of in the vein of The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Noisia, etc. We also pulled elements from Justice and The Streets. There’s a darkness to those artists that’s so heavy and interesting to me, and we really wanted to embrace that on this song. To me, this is kind of our version of that—sharing a lot of those elements and vibes but still keeping the heaviness of Underoath at its core.”

He continues, “Lyrically, I wrote it from the place I used to go whenever something went wrong in my life, which I think we can all relate to. It's a place I now consciously avoid when things fall apart. But it’s that moment when everything in your life has fallen apart, you’re at the bar, and you just don’t care anymore. Maybe it’s the end of a relationship, the loss of a friend or family member, or you just got fired—whatever it may be, we've all had a night like this. It’s a scary feeling, and it’s a place I never want to go back to, but that’s the song in a nutshell. It’s pretty on the nose, so to speak, but I felt like I needed to write it down to remind myself to never go there again.”

In 2025, Underoath will be visiting Australia for the first time since 2019, performing They’re Only Chasing Safety in its entirety along with an encore set, as direct support for Alexisonfire . Soon after their jaunt in Australia, the band will return to North America for a run of shows supporting Rise Against and Papa Roach as part of their Rise of the Roach tour. The band will also be performing at Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival on May 10, 2025 in Columbus, OH and at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL on May 16, 2025 . Tickets available for purchase here.

The single, a gritty, boot-stomping anthem, which landed on Rolling Stone's "Songs You Need To Know" list and was lauded as a hit by Forbes, has been steadily climbing the charts and just hit No. 14 at Active Rock Radio — a testament to its undeniable power and Dorothy's growing impact in the rock world.

Watch the official music video for "Tombstone Town," which was directed by Rich Ragsdale, below

The video made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, and MTV Biggest Pop, marking a career milestone for Dorothy as she continues her meteoric rise.

"I'm so honored to have Slash join me on 'Tombstone Town,'" says Dorothy. "The song is an excerpt from my diary — born out of betrayal and heartache. The music video has a plot twist at the end, but ultimately, I wanted to send a message of forgiveness and resilience, rather than revenge. Writing this song was therapy for me."

Slash himself sums it up perfectly: "'Tombstone Town' is a sexy rock 'n' roll grind, featuring Dorothy's inimitable swagger and a killer guitar hook."

Building on the momentum of the single, Dorothy is hitting the road for a headline tour in support of her highly anticipated new album, The Way, arriving March 14 via Roc Nation. The album is truly a watershed moment for the artist, ultimately cementing her place among hard rock's elite players.  Pre-order it here.

About the album, the vocalist enthuses, "This album is a love letter to the fans. I'm letting them know everything is going to be okay, and we'll help each other find the way — even if we get lost at times."

*FESTIVAL

Projecting a full-bodied voice with every inch of her being, Dorothy Martin kindles a spark of hope into a flame as bright as the sun itself. The Budapest, Hungary-born maverick singer, songwriter, performer, and frontwoman of the Los Angeles-based eponymous band, Dorothy brings gusto, grit, and glory back to hard rock, exuding superstar-size confidence coupled with the quiet resolve of an old school Western anti-hero. She has unassumingly blazed her own trail with sold out tours, major collaborations, and over 1 billion streams already in the rearview.

However, her vision really catches fire on her fourth full-length album, The Way[Roc Nation].

Dorothy arrived with the force of a hurricane back in 2016, serving up the full-length debut ROCKISDEAD. Surging on all platforms on which fans discover new music, "Raise Hell" reeled in over 85 million Spotify streams followed by "Wicked Ones" with 77 million Spotify streams. The band organically attracted a diehard global fanbase with 28 Days in the Valley [2018] and Gifts From The Holy Ghost [2022]. KERRANG! hailed the latter as "a hot-blooded rock ‘n' roll record through and through," and RIFF raved, "Holy Ghost serves as a triumphant battle cry and a return to form." Perhaps, Outburn put it best, "It's her most bombastic and gloriously, victorious rock and roll work yet." Simultaneously, the singer took flight as the rare dynamo equally at home on a track with Slash and Nita Strauss of Alice Cooper or Staind and Scott Stapp of Creed. She even notably dueted with Stapp at the Grand Ole Opry.

Over the course of 2024, she carefully architected what would become The Way alongside songwriter and producer Scott Stevens [Halestorm, Shinedown, Daughtry]. Expanding the creative palette, they leaned into heavier rock spiked with a healthy helping of Southern swagger and country-style storytelling.

Changeling Announce Debut Album (ex-Obscura)

With the arrival of Changeling, a boldly progressive new chapter in the history of death metal is bound to unfold. Conceived by fretless guitar virtuoso Tom "Fountainhead" Geldschläger - who's previously played with Amogh Symphony, Belphegor, Defeated Sanity and Obscura - this new project dives into the deepest recesses of our subconscious, where realities' boundaries blend into the infinite possibilities unlocked by the imagination.

On Changeling's self-titled debut album, Geldschläger is joined by core band members drummer Mike Heller (ex-Fear Factory, Malignancy, Raven), vocalist Morean (Alkaloid, ex-Dark Fortress) and bassist Arran McSporran (Virvum, Vipassi). The album also features contributions from Bill Hudson (Trans-Siberain Orchestra, Doro, I Am Morbid), Jason Gobel (ex-Cynic, ex-Monstrosity), Yatziv Caspi (ex-Orphaned Land), James Dorton (Ne Obliviscaris, Black Crown Initiate), Andy Laroque (ex-Death, King Diamond), plus more special guests, including a 50-piece orchestra.

The album's lead single is the ultimate immersion into subconsciousness. "Abyss" is impossibly heavy; cavernous vocals, crushing guitars, gravity-defying orchestration and a microtonal choir inspired by avant-garde composer György Sándor Ligeti sink into ego-death, only to swirl into transcendence.

Watch  the video for "Abyss" below:

Changeling comes out April 25th via Season of Mist.

Geldschläger is already widely considered a modern-day guitar legend. His fearless fretless guitar playing has earned endorsements from Aristides Guitars, Neural DSP Plug-ins, Steinberg Software, Loxx Products, Engl Amplification, Deadweald Audio Engineering, Elixir Strings, MONO cases and Bareknuckle Pickups. But while he's already pushed technical death metal to further extremes - most noticeably on "Weltseele", the 15-minute epic that he contributed to Obscura's album Akróasis - Changeling defies all categorization.

"Abyss" serves as both a mirror and a gateway. The lead single off Changeling's debut album is the culmination of an evolution that is years in the making. Unblemished by studio trickery, the song is reflective and introspective while also charting new sonic dimensions that are as vibrant and otherworldly as a dream.

The video for "Abyss" was created by Chris Hesse / Strangeworks

The album, sharing its name with the project, blends progressive metal, death metal, jazz/fusion, and world music, enriched with complex orchestrations by a 50-piece ensemble of guest musicians. It includes the eagerly anticipated “Part 2” to his renowned composition “Weltseele,” an orchestral metal epic from Obscura’s billboard-chart-entering Akroasis album, which broadly introduced Fountainhead to the metal community in 2016.

WARBRINGER Unleashes Explosive Second Single "The Sword And The Cross" | New Album "Wrath And Ruin" Out March 14

Modern thrash titans WARBRINGER recently set the world ablaze with the announcement of their highly anticipated new album, Wrath And Ruin, out March 14, 2025 via Napalm Records. Today, they return to unleash the furiously charged second single "The Sword And The Cross," alongside an official lyric video.

"The Sword And The Cross" continues the band's righteous crusade for justice and riffs, lambasting listeners with unrelenting blasts, and unsettling, gothic guitar duels. Frontman John Kevill remains steadfast in his convictions, lyrically exploring the dismay of modern conditions through the voice of a medieval lord cruelly mocking the listener.

About the single, frontman Kevill says: "'The Sword and the Cross' was the first song we wrote for Wrath and Ruin and sets the tone for the album. We have a dark, epic thrashing number where a callous lord tells the audience how and why he owns them. First, establishing himself with brute violence (the Sword). Second, legitimating himself with ideology (the Cross). The end of the song was written first, where this lord says that he is still present, and reigns in skyscrapers rather than castles, that his sons will own your sons, and he will own you long after he dies. I love this section and it feels absolutely maniacal and evil to sing.

"One of the chief themes on the record is 'techno-feudalism.' Though our rulers may have given up their crowns and titles, they never relinquished their power. The modern lords are no less our masters than the medieval ones were.

"Bend the knee, peasants, for we bring to you Wrath and Ruin. We bring the sword!"

Check Out "The Sword And The Cross" below.

Pre-Order New Album Wrath And Ruin HERE.

Wrath And Ruin's destructive opening duo of "The Sword And The Cross" and "A Better World" quickly kick the gates of cataclysm open with broodingly dark guitar work and virtuosic precision. Frontman John Kevill's passionate proclamations are as potent as ever, mocking those who scoffed at clear harbingers of societal collapse with their misguided optimism. "Neuromancerrides low and steady with blast master Carlos Cruz putting some serious stank on an irresistible battle vest fist pumper. "The Jackhammer" sees the band explode into a frenzy with chaotic riffage and ear splitting pinch dives. "Through A Glass, Darkly" indulges in deliciously gothic chord work and melodic leads embellishing Kevill’s already hellish vocal fry. "Strike From The Sky" is trademark thrash excellence quickly followed by the atmospheric, true cult epic "Cage Of Air," with its tensely ornate dueling guitars on full display. Album closer "The Last Of My Kind" continues this dark gothic path with syncopated octave runs dancing around tightly dueling melodeath riffage.Wrath And Ruin sees WARBRINGER indulging in the darker elements of their sound, for an uncompromising and unflinching exploration of life’s most bitter pills.

WARBRINGER are currently gearing up to embark on the massive “Infernal Bleeding Over Europe 2025” tour in support of death metal legends Decapitated alongside Cryptopsy, and Carnation kicking off May 3, 2025 at London’s Incineration fest.

ROBIN MCAULEY Shares New Single "Wonders Of The World" + Visualizer

Today, ROBIN MCAULEY proudly shares a new single, titled "Wonders of the World", from his upcoming solo album, 'Soulbound,' due February 28th via Frontiers Music Srl.

About the single, ROBIN's co-writer Giancarlo Floridia states:

"'Wonders of the World' was a song presented to me by David Julian that I absolutely fell in love with and started working on together with Robin.

"I really feel as a writing team David, myself and Robin came up with something very special that I think you’re all going to enjoy.

"TURN IT UP!!!!!"

Watch the Visualizer for "Wonders Of The World"

His new solo album sees MCAULEY's voice continuing to defy time, sounding as inspired and powerful as ever. Definitively more guitar-driven straight hard rock compared to his previous albums, 'Soulbound' is still wonderfully melodic, infectious, and fist-in-the-air uplifting.

MCAULEY comments on the album:

"I can't wait to share Record #3 with you all from Frontiers Music SRL. 'Soulbound' is a much edgier, harder guitar-driven record than my previous two for the label. In addition, I'm working with a new producer from the Frontiers label, Aldo Lonobile, who brought these songs to life with his Kick-Ass production."

'Soulbound' showcases the respected Irish rock singer's desire to make a strong musical statement in what is proving to be his most creative period.

After reemerging on the recording side of the music industry with guest spots on

Michael Schenker Fest albums and tours in addition to fronting the hard rock supergroup Black Swan, MCAULEY was (and still is) feeling invigorated and ready to explore even more creative output to let the world see that his voice is still as powerful as ever.

Work for 'Soulbound' began in early 2024, following an intense musical period in between tour dates and studio work. With a slightly different production approach compared to the previous album, ROBIN’s vocal performance here is simply outstanding. Truly an iconic voice of the genre, 'Soulbound' solidly delivers the more hard and heavy aspects of this respected artist.

ROBIN's backing band includes some of the previous artists who appeared with him on previous efforts, including guitarist Andrea Seveso, as well as some new talent such as guitarist Alessandro Mammola and drummer Alfonso Mocerino.

'Soulbound' is produced by Aldo Lonobile.

Pre-Order 'Soulbound' HERE

Robin McAuley is widely recognized as one of the great singers of a golden period in hard rock music. His voice can be heard on albums from Grand Prix and Far Corporation, and of course, on the chart-topping MSG records 'Perfect Timing,' 'Save

Yourself,' and 'MSG.' Through these releases, he was introduced to hard rock fans around the globe, who no doubt recognized the inherent talent and skill in his vocal abilities.

Once he departed MSG, McAuley released one solo record in 1999, then joined AOR

legends Survivor. He then re-grouped with Schenker in Michael Schenker Fest on their recent records 'Resurrection' and 'Revelation,' And of course, in what was an absolute revelation to hard rock fans around the world, in 2020, he came out swingin' as the frontman of the supergroup Black Swan, where he joined forces with Reb Beach (Whitesnake, Winger), Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, ex-Dokken), and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr Big).

Band Members:

Robin McAuley - Vocals

Andrea Seveso, Alessandro Mammola - Guitars

Aldo Lonobile - Bass/additional guitars

“We wanted to capture the tension between despair and hope — how beauty and devastation coexist, and how we, as individuals and groups, are tasked with choosing which force to nurture,” says vocalist John Yelland. “The lyrics embody that struggle.”

Watch: Judicator - “Concord” Below:

Judicator will release Concord one week prior to the band’s debut performance in Europe, at Epic Fest in Roskilde, Denmark. This special, 60-minute performance will serve as a celebration of Concord's release, and will also close out the festival.

“I can’t think of a more special way to celebrate our new album,” says guitarist Chad Anderson. “Performing in Europe has been a personal goal of ours since we first became musicians. We think that Epic Fest embodies the future of metal festivals, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

Judicator is one of modern power metal’s most dynamic, up-and-coming bands. Since their formation in 2012, the band has become well known for their intricate character studies about historical figures like Napoleon Bonaparte and Frederick the Great, as well as personal explorations of life and loss. Their new album Concord explores ideas and themes centered around the American West.

Concord is an epic exploration of American identity, blending historical events, folklore, and themes of cultural disconnection. With powerful storytelling that navigates both awe and tragedy of the American West, the album confronts the complexities of survival, power, and loss, offering a deeply resonant and thought-provoking journey through the nation’s fractured heritage.

Over seven albums now, Judicator have continually expanded their musical horizons. Their album The Last Emperor featured a guest appearance by Blind Guardian’s Hansi Kürsch, and in 2024, they had the surreal opportunity to open for Blind Guardian in Salt Lake City on their God Machine North American tour. From their humble beginnings to global recognition, Judicator continually demonstrates why they are indisputably one of power metal’s most innovative acts.

Post-punk legends Pink Turns Blue presents 'Dancing With Ghosts', previewing 'Black Swan' album and European tour dates

European post-punk stalwarts Pink Turns Blue present their new single 'Dancing With Ghosts' and accompanying video, confronting the agonizing reality of toxic relationships, those soul-draining connections we often share with the people closest to us.  It's a raw exploration of the struggle to escape the "ghosts" of the past and the arduous, but ultimately liberating, journey toward self-preservation.

This is the third offering from their forthcoming album 'Black Swan', a term used for an unexpected event that, in retrospect, is rationalized as if one could have prepared for it. This record is set for release on limited edition vinyl, CD and digitally via Orden Records on February 28,

Earlier, the band shared 'Stay For The Night', a celebration of the postpunk - goth rock - darkwave community, and the lead track 'Black Swan (But I Know There Is More to Life)', the album's only ballad, which delves into profound questions about existence, life’s purpose and the beauty of the world.

Today made up of Mic Jogwer (vocals, guitar), Paul Richter (drums) and Luca Sammuri (bass), Pink Turns Blue - named after a Hüsker Dü song - emerged in 1985 in the first generation of gothic rock. Their debut album 'If Two Worlds Kiss' advanced the darkwave sub-genre while becoming a seminal post-punk album. Emerging from the fear and uncertainty of a divided Cold War Germany and inspired by Joy Division, The Sound and The Chameleons, they have since released a dozen full-length LPs and have become known for their trademark blend of post-punk, alternative rock and new wave.

Mic Jogwer shares, "An exclamation to escape a complicated relationship, 'Dancing With Ghosts' is a song about our difficulty of breaking out of an unhealthy bond. Some last a lifetime – and are not good for us at all. They suck all our energy, never give, always take. And whatever we do, it's never right and never good enough. And since it's often our best friend, mother, or sister, it feels like we owe them something, but every time we try to do something good for them, we just feel miserable and used. There is no easy way out, because whatever we do, we lose. These spirits will haunt us forever unless we challenge them and eventually manage to leave them behind. We're Dancing With Ghosts."

After the widely acclaimed ‘Tainted’ album in 2021, the companion 'Tainted Tour 2022' EP and successful American and European tours with often-sold-out concerts, this new studio album will be followed by their 'Black Swan' tour, which sees them visit clubs through Germany in April.

Pink Turns Blue has achieved pretty much everything an indie band could wish for - Album of the Year (Byte FM), Best Album of 2021 (Post-Punk.com), singles reaching number 1 in the German Alternative Charts and Indie Disco Top 40, excellent reviews in worldwide music press, well attended and sold-out club concerts spanning from Los Angeles to Yerevan.

As of February 7, 'Dancing With Ghosts' is available everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify, and Bandcamp. The full 'Black Swan' album will finally be released on limited-edition vinyl and CD editions, as well as digitally on all streaming platforms, on February 28. It can now be pre-ordered in physical formats, or digitally via Bandcamp.  Tickets for Pink Turns Blue's upcoming tour dates can be ordered at https://pinkturnsblue.com/ live-dates.

THE VICE Announce New EP "A Great Unrest" and Unleash Gloomy Video for First Single and Title Track!

Swedish dark metal act THE VICE has announced the release of the band's upcoming five track EP A Great Unrest, set to be released on March 7 via Noble Demon

Following the success of their latest full-length album, Dead Canary Run (2024, Noble Demon), THE VICE embarked on an exciting journey to create a series of EPs. The addition of Joel Öhman, a long-time collaborator, has transformed the band into a finely-tuned quartet, enriching their sound with fresh perspectives and innovative approaches.

The first offering from this new chapter, A Great Unrest,  has this growth on full display, amplifying every inch of the foundation made of blackened metal, ambient pop and unbridled rock n roll.

The five tracks - three new ones, a cover of "1 Sun" by Miley Cyrus and a rearranged version of "Welcome The Storm" from the latest album - were recorded in the fall of 2024 at Studio Underjord (Skraeckoedlan, Magna Carta Cartel, Haystack among others) in rural Sweden.

Fresh off of writing and recording a full album, this EP was the perfect way to musically break the "limitations" that can come when working to create a really unified piece of art.

And while it wasn't exactly Fantomas-levels of diverse tracks, sound engineer and owner of the studio, Joona Hassinen really pulled his 'A' game giving it a coherent sound. "A Great Unrest" sounds a bit lighter, yet more harsh than "Dead Canary Run" with an electrified, distorted tension running throughout.

In support of the upcoming release, THE VICE have unleashed the first single and title track of the EP. The song is accompanied by a new & gloomy music video, which you can watch below.

Listen to "A Great Unrest" HERE

Guitarist Rickard about the track: "To me, 'A Great Unrest' is everything that The Vice is all about, boiled down to its purest form. One sinister fucking riff, a couple of choruses trembling with fierceness, passion and rebellion, and a final act to release all that built up tension in a beautiful, yet most ominous way. All in under three and a half minute, really think we obliterated every head of every nail with this one."

Regarding the EP's themes, the band adds:
"Thematically there wasn't any other ideas, thoughts, than usual when entering the studio. The Vice is, has always been, and will forever be about unrest, rebellion, those mixed feelings of unease and ecstacy when balancing on the last inches of the edge, about to plunge into the void. Some songs here and there have more specific themes, but in general it's reflections and ideas about this existence from a quite calm, gathered perspective though always prepared, anticipating the moment when the tension breaks and the unknown madness begins. Somewhere along the way the visual representations like the cover art, music video, title etc all started to lean towards some kind of cold war aesthetics. This was absolutely not intentional, never discussed and nothing we'd naturally turn to. Sure some things led to the other, but at least some of it feels like the music just had an inherent vibe of that, cold, metallic, bleak, post-war vibe."

"A Great Unrest " will be coming out on March 7 via Noble Demon and is now available for pre-order at THIS LOCATION
