JASON ALDEAN CELEBRATES HIS 30th #1 AT COUNTRY RADIO WITH HIS LATEST SINGLE “WHISKEY DRINK”

GRAMMY nominated entertainer and ACM Artist of the Decade, Jason Aldean lands his 30th #1 at Country Radio via Broken Bow Records this week with his latest single “Whiskey Drink,” featured on his album Highway Desperado. Recently, kicking off his “Full Throttle Tour” with sold out dates at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH (5/23), Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Canada (5/24) and the Broadview Stage at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, NY (5/25), the country music superstar is bringing his hit packed show to CMA Fest this week in Nashville as he closes out Nissan Stadium on the opening night, Thursday, June 5 before heading back out on the road in July.

With this latest accolade, Jason joins an elite class of entertainers who have logged 30+ #1 hits throughout their career like George Strait, Tim McGraw, Ronnie Milsap, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton.

“30 #1s is a huge milestone, and I couldn’t let it go by without thanking the fans, country radio, the songwriters, BMG and the best promo team in the business,” says Jason Aldean. “I appreciate all the support we have gotten from everyone over the last 20 years. And, I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon; so, I’m working hard on getting this next round of music out and can’t wait to share it soon.”

“I always say icons come from the fringes and Jason Aldean exemplifies that without question,” says Jon Loba, President, Frontline Recordings, BMG Americas. “When many questioned his music early on, he was uncompromising and in the process, added an entirely new sound to the genre that many tried to chase, but none could replicate.  Today, he registers his 30th #1, while continuing to sell out arenas and amphitheaters. We at BMG look forward to him shaping the sound of Country music for years to come.”

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville ACM Awards Wins & Recap - Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll & Jason Aldean

Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and Jason Aldean proved the stars were shining bright at the 2024 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards airing live on Amazon from The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX, world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. The aforementioned BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville artists would end the night capturing four awards and delivering three of the most memorable and breakout moments on the show.

Lainey Wilson kicked off the ACMs with her rendition of "God Blessed Texas" transitioning it into the broadcast debut performance of her latest single "Hang Tight Honey", delivering an electrifying performance that set the tone for "Country Music's Party of the Year." By the close of the broadcast, Lainey would earn the distinction of becoming the most awarded female artist of the night, securing the top honor as Entertainer of the Year. She also captured awards for Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year for "Save Me" Jelly Roll with Lainey Wilson.

In her Entertainer of the Year Acceptance speech Lainey shared, "These past few years for us has been a complete whirlwind. I have been in Nashville for 13 years doing this. First of all, I want to say thank you so much, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you to my team who fights for me every single day, who works so hard. My band - they show up. WME for booking me, all the time, everywhere. Y'all I remember being a little girl and I would climb out on the top of our roof. I'd open my window and climb out. I'd count all the stars and I'd look up and see the planes flying over my little town of 200 people. I'd dream about being up there in one of those planes and this year it is so crazy. We have already toured the UK, Europe & Australia and we're about to start our American leg. The funny thing is that I still feel like that little girl.I really do. I feel like I still climb out on the roof and I look at the stars, except I feel like I'm a little more eye level with them now. Everybody in this category has loved on me and believed in me, took me out on the road, sang songs with me, wrote with me, encouraged me every step of the way and I love y'all for that. I have the best fans in the world. Thank you so much. God bless y'all."

Jelly Roll, a first time nominee, would capture his first ACM Award for Music Event of the Year for "Save Me" with Lainey Wilson.  Giving the audience a first look at the his new music, Jelly Roll premiered an unreleased, fiery song, "Liar" on the broadcast.

In his acceptance speech, Jelly Roll stated, "I'm gonna try not to get emotional, but no pun intended, seriously, this song saved me. I was in a dark place. I wrote it from my soul. I knew people would connect with it. One year ago today, Lainey Wilson and I stood on this stage and debuted it. This song is a triple-platinum record. I wrote it with a high school friend. We never thought we'd be songwriters. I never thought I'd be standing here. I thought I would die or go to jail and I'm standing here as an ACM Award winner. You hear what I am talking about Texas! Let's go baby!"

ason Aldean, the ACM Artist of the Decade, took to the stage at The Star to honor the trailblazing and legendary Toby Keith who passed in February 2024. The "wonderfully touching" (Daily Wire) tribute "stole the show Thursday...with a moving rendition of Keith's hit 'Should've Been a Cowboy'" (Tennessean). Fans can view the performance below or stream it HERE.

JOHN MORGAN’S “FRIENDS LIKE THAT (FEAT. JASON ALDEAN)” IMPACTS RADIO TODAY

Multi #1 hit singer-songwriter John Morgan’s debut single “Friends Like That (feat. Jason Aldean)” impacts country radio today, claiming the week’s #1 most-added accolade with 64 first-week stations. Listen to the new song below.

Releasing a ramped up, new version of his fan-favorite song, John enlisted his buddy and mentor country superstar Jason Aldean for some vice-induced good times post breakup. Making us wish we all had friends like that, having toured with Aldean, Riley Green, ERNEST and Jameson Rodgers, John just made his Grand Ole Opry debut, as this barn burner raised its hand. Racking up over 30 MILLION on-demand streams, the rowdy party-starter was originally featured on his recently released debut EP Remember Us? Explore the EP HERE

“To have Jason Aldean as a mentor over the past few years, he went from being someone I was a fan of  to someone I call a friend, so it’s extra special to have him on one of my songs,” says John. “Having a song on the radio is what you always dream about when you pursue this career. I grew up on country radio and to know that another kid might grow up with me on the radio and want to pursue a music career too is a really cool thought.”

“I’ve been in town here in Nashville for 25 years, and John Morgan is one of the most talented guys I’ve ever come across in all aspects - as a singer, as a songwriter and as a performer,” says Aldean. “It’s a really cool thing for me as an artist to sign another artist, so jumping on this song that’s also jump starting his career along with going to radio, I’m excited for what’s to come from John Morgan and glad he’s one of ours and on our team.”

Praised by People as “a solo artist intriguing enough to watch,” the BBR Music Group/Broken Bow Records/Night Train Records artist co-wrote the song with Brent Anderson, Will Bundy and Lydia Vaughan. Produced by Aldean with his long-time bandmates, prolific #1 songwriters Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy, “Friends Like That” is “a live concert favorite whose banjo and steel underpinnings still allow room for a hard-rocking core” (Tennessean)

Having written a multitude of songs for not only Aldean but Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett, George Birge, Michael Ray and more, John is readying even more new music, while hitting the road for renowned country music festivals this summer such as Nashville’s CMA Fest and Panama City Beach’s Gulf Coast Jam.

About John Morgan:

With a style that’s defined by melodic grit and a craftsman’s approach to songwriting, John Morgan brings a blue-collar toughness to country that’s pulled straight from the only life he knows. Hailing from a tiny town called Sylva, deep in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, John grew up immersed in bluegrass tradition and even toured the festival circuit each summer in a family band, before diving into songwriting, inspired by six-string legends from Tony Rice to John Mayer. More than a year after selling everything he had to follow his dream, an only-in-Nashville story involving Uber drivers and impressive demos led to a writing session with Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy — two incredible songwriters and longtime bandmates of Country superstar Jason Aldean. That session led to the superstar cutting numerous songs written by John, including #1 hit singles “Trouble With A Heartbreak” and the GRAMMY® nominated, ACM Single of the Year “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood. Signed to Aldean’s Night Train Records, his imprint with BBR Music Group, the sought-after, naturally gifted songwriter who has written for Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett and more and toured with Aldean, ERNEST, Riley Green and Jameson Rodgers - now continues to cross off bucket-list items. Having made his Grand Ole Opry debut and released an anthemic debut EP Remember Us?, John’s barn-burner, fan-favorite track “Friends Like That (feat. Jason Aldean)” is available now and currently climbing the country radio charts.

The self-proclaimed "Trailer Park Tornado" delivered a fiery performance of "Halfway to Hell" to close the program and also took home buckle awards for "Male Video of the Year" for "Need a Favor" and "CMT Performance of the Year" for "Need a Favor" (from the 2023 CMT Music Awards).

BBR Music Group/Broken Bow Records' Lainey Wilson would secure a win for "Female Video of the Year" for "Watermelon Moonshine." Throughout the broadcast, she performed "Country's Cool Again," the namesake for the 2024 U.S. domestic tour that kicks off on May 31, and returned to join Brooks & Dunn and Sammy Hagar to honor the legendary Toby Keith performing "How Do You Like Me Now?!"

BBR Music Group/Broken Bow Records' Jason Aldean made his return to the CMT Music Awards performing his current single "Let Your Boys Be Country" from the University of Texas at Austin stage.

In her "Female Video of the Year" acceptance speech for "Watermelon Moonshine," viewable HERE, Lainey shared: "My heart is beating out of my chest. I'm not even gonna lie. I just want to say, first of all, every single girl that was in this category, all of them are dear friends. They work their tails off and they just dedicate their life to creating music and creating this vision and bringing it to life. I am so honored to be a part of this category. It's really unreal watching these girls do what they do. I am pretty sure all of them would let me say thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for supporting women in country. It's a big dang deal! Thank you so much. 'Watermelon Moonshine' is about that young, wild, crazy love --- a time in your life when nothing else mattered. It takes you back to that certain time, that place, that smell, that sound --- that's what country music is right there. It's just about telling a story and thank y'all so much for letting me do that with this video. God bless y'all."

During his "Video of the Year" acceptance speech for "Need a Favor", viewable HERE, Jelly Roll stated: "Billy Bob Thornton just gave me my third trophy of the night, y'all. Cody Johnson, I'm not gonna tell you anything up here that I wouldn't tell you on the phone, but I love you brother. You are my favorite cowboy for ever and ever and ever and one of my best friends in the business. I love you. Kelsea Ballerini, you know what I think of you too, girl. You go baby! I want to thank my manager John Meneilly. I want to thank my publicist, Jennifer Vessio. I want to thank my label Stoney Creek. I want to thank country radio. I want to thank everybody who had anything to do with this. Jon Loba, I love you. I love you so much. My beautiful wife, Ms. Bunnie DeFord. I am blessed to have you as a best friend. I am blessed to have you as a partner. You find beauty in broken things and I love you. I'm fixing to come back out on this stage and set it on fire! It's going down! Gayle King, I'm gonna be a little late in the morning cause we're gonna party Austin. Let's go!"

JOHN MORGAN & JASON ALDEAN RELEASE “FRIENDS LIKE THAT” AVAILABLE NOW

Releasing a ramped up, new version of his fan-favorite “Friends Like That,” impacting radio on Monday, April 22, multi #1 hit songwriter John Morgan enlists his buddy and mentor country superstar Jason Aldean for some vice-induced good times post breakup. Making us wish we all had friends like that, having toured with Aldean, Riley Green, ERNEST and Jameson Rodgers, John just made his Grand Ole Opry debut, as this barn burner raised its hand. Racking up over 28 MILLION on-demand streams, the rowdy party-starter was originally featured on his recently released debut EP Remember Us? Listen to the new song below and explore the EP HERE

“It’s a really cool thing for me as an artist to sign another artist, so jumping on this song that’s also jumpstarting his career along with going to radio, I’m excited for what’s to come from John Morgan and glad he’s one of ours and on our team.”

The new rendition of “Friends Like That (feat. Jason Aldean)” follows John’s debut EP, Remember Us? The six-song project mixes John’s signature “sad-boy country” heartbreakers with lively up-tempo barn burners, effortlessly flowing between romantic relatability and nostalgia to crank-it-to-ten singalongs. “Oozing with validity, Morgan's subtle twang is undeniably fresh and is a swift and welcomed return to the traditional sounds…that fans also crave” (All Country News), “standing apart from the rest of the Country crowd, as he brings a more traditional Country flair to the Pop-Country sounds of today’s genre” (Songwriter Universe).

Having written a multitude of songs for not only Aldean but Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett and more, John is readying even more new music, while hitting the road for renowned country music festivals this summer such as Nashville’s CMA Fest and Panama City Beach’s Gulf Coast Jam.

Having made his Grand Ole Opry debut, released an anthemic debut EP Remember Us?, John’s barn-burner, fan-favorite track “Friends Like That (feat. Jason Aldean)” is available now and impacts radio on April 22.

Brantley Gilbert Enlists Jason Aldean for Highly Anticipated Collaboration: “Rolex® On A Redneck”

Multi-Platinum Country Stars & Longtime Friends Join Forces for
Highly Anticipated Collaboration,
Available Everywhere Now
Gilbert Readies More New Music for 2022

In the last decade, multi-Platinum country stars Brantley Gilbert and Jason Aldean have swapped songs, toured together, and remained friends and advocates for each other’s careers, leaving fans eager to see the two Georgia-natives join forces for a song. The wait is finally over with the release of their long-awaited collaboration: “Rolex® On A Redneck.” Listen to the song HERE and watch the lyric video HERE.

“Aldean was one of those guys coming up that I looked up to as he’s a great song guy,” elaborates Gilbert. “Back in the day, he cut a couple songs of mine, ‘My Kinda Party’ and ‘Dirt Road Anthem,’ and he turned both of those into big ole hits, and I’ll forever be thankful for that.”

“Writing a song and having Aldean cut it is one thing, and that’s something I’ll always be thankful for and is a blessing in itself,” Gilbert adds. “But to be able to do a song with him, well, it’s a whole other level.”

“Brantley and I go way back,” shares Aldean. “This song is just a straight up a banger – it‘s cool to be part of it with him.”

Written by Gilbert, Brock Berryhill, Michael Hardy, Randy Montana and Taylor Phillips, “Rolex® On A Redneck” encompasses the hard-working and fun-loving attitude that both Gilbert and BG Nation possess:

Well, I’ve been working like a dog on a slow grind
A couple side hustles, doubles and some overtime
‘Cause time is money, tickin’ out here on this rural route
Can’t take it with you when you go
So I’m all about the sunup to sundown
Just tryin’ to be the Warren Buffett of this town
Yeah, this work can’t put a house out in Malibu
But let me tell you what it can do

It can put a Rolex® on a redneck
It can put some inches on your big block Chevy
It can put a Yeti on your back deck
Slap full of longnecks
Camo on your brand new Benelli
Yeah, it can put some pearl on your snap
Some gator on your boots
Girl on your lap ‘cause your paper’s to the roof
This turnin’ dirt life might not put a milli on a paycheck
But it can put a Rollie on a redneck

“We go on a writer’s retreat every year southwest of Houston, Texas, and we do a little bit of hog hunting and write a bunch of songs. I was actually in the other room when this one started,” shares Gilbert. “Taylor Phillips called me over, and he, HARDY, Brock Berryhill and Randy Montana were in the bus writing ‘Rolex® On A Redneck.’ I put my two cents on it, and it was one of those songs that when you hear it for the first time, it’s just fun.”

“It’s a little outside the box – it’s a sound we haven’t really done in a while, so it was really cool to be able to jump on it,” he explains. “We’re super proud of it, and we just hope folks dig it.”

Along with joining writer retreats with new friends and longtime collaborators, Gilbert has been back in the studio preparing new music to be announced later this year.

About Brantley Gilbert
With back-to-back Platinum albums and a grassroots following millions strong, Brantley Gilbert’s music has been shared, covered and adopted as the soundtrack to Saturday night and Sunday morning by audiences around the world. The Georgia native who started as the defiant life-of-the-party can still go ‘til sunrise, but he’s also emerged as something far greater: the leader of a massive tribe of hard-working, fun-loving believers for whom electric guitar-shredding, rapping, and twang can go hand-in-hand-in-hand. They call themselves the BG Nation, and when the BG Nation watches Gilbert on a stage, they don’t just see a star. They see themselves. Seven No. 1 hits punctuate his career: “Country Must be Country Wide,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” CMA Awards Song of the Year nominee “Dirt Road Anthem,” “My Kinda Party,” RIAA 5x Platinum-certified “Bottoms Up,” “One Hell of an Amen” and collaboration with Lindsay Ell “What Happens In A Small Town.” Gilbert’s landmark record Just As I Am clinched the 2014 American Music Award for Favorite Country Album. Earning praise from the New York Times, NPR, American Songwriter, and more, Gilbert has mined a rich vein of conflict between the party and the pew on all of his albums. Instead of toiling in limbo, unable to enjoy good times for fear of Judgment Day, Gilbert fully lives––rowdy friend, man of faith, devoted husband, smitten new father––just as he is. His new release “Rolex® On A Redneck” featuring Jason Aldean is available now via The Valory Music Co. About Jason Aldean
Multi-Platinum entertainer Jason Aldean has learned a thing or two about the music he has made over the past 16 years, but as far as he’s come, Aldean always looks back home to Macon, Georgia. Both where he is from and how far he has taken his signature sound is reflected throughout his 10th studio album MACON, GEORGIA, featuring the album's multi-week No. One GRAMMY nominated and ACM “Single of the Year,” “If I Didn’t Love You.” Aldean continues to deliver new songs leading into the full release of all 30 tracks - 20 new and at least one live hit off each of his previous albums - on April 22. The three-time ACM “Entertainer of the Year” has bolstered 26 No. 1 hits, 15 billion streams and more than 20 million albums sold. Notably, seven of Aldean’s previous studio albums have been certified PLATINUM or more and he has the most Top 10 song on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, more than any other artists, since making his chart debut in 2005. This year’s CRS Humanitarian Award recipient is gearing up for the road this summer with his ROCK N’ ROLL COWBOY TOUR, as the 34-city trek will launch July 15th in Scranton, PA, with special guests Gabby Barrett, John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver. The recent CRS Humanitarian Award recipient created Wolf Moon Bourbon, an 80 proof bourbon that has been distilled from Midwestern grains and aged for four years offering a finish of caramel, oak and spice.
