"'Lady Lazarus' is me confronting misogyny head-on and refusing to shrink for anyone. The title comes from the Sylvia Plath poem, and like her, I'm pulling something powerful out of something painful. Lines like 'Tender when I wanna be / Callous when I have to be' came from recognizing how women are expected to bend, soften, or apologize just to exist - but also how we learn to harden ourselves for survival.

"When I sing 'Give me your dead stare, I eat men like air,' it's not about hating men - it's about reclaiming the space that was denied to me, the anger I was taught to bury, and the fear I was meant to carry. This song is the sound of unlearning all of that. It's rage, it's release, and it's me deciding I'm no longer shrinking out of anyone's comfort."

Ice Nine Kills mastermind Spencer Charnas shares: 

“Twisting the Knife is our tribute to Wes Craven and the Scream franchise, which means so much to us. Scream is baked into the DNA of who I am and of Ice Nine Kills—my love of horror, comedy, and the collision between the two. I was already obsessed with Halloween and Friday the 13th, but Scream was the first I saw in theaters. Hearing the killer talk about horror movies, in that distinctively pop-culture savvy Kevin Williamson way, blew my mind.

In recent years, we’ve gotten to know and work with Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Neve Campbell, Rose McGowan, Jamie Kennedy, Lee Waddell, and others in different capacities. We announced the collaboration with Scream 7 at Wembley Arena, with Ghostface and Rose McGowan, which was surreal in itself.

When we learned that Mckenna Grace is a fan of our band, it made perfect sense to invite her to sing. She recorded her part in my home studio, in the same room where I keep my screen-used Scream knife prop, one of the four rubber knives made for the first movie.

Marco Beltrami’s Scream scores are just as influential to me as any other component of the films. In our song, there are echoes of the moody atmospheres he’s created, with our own INK twist.”

“Making this song was such a special experience for me- I am such a big INK fan and it was such an amazing opportunity to be able to play with a different style of music. I am so inspired by Amy Lee's vocals and we all wanted to channel Scream and Sydney’s story as best as we could. The accompanying music video continues Ice Nine Kills’ signature horror-cinema homage, blending performance with a post-video narrative short that continues the ever-expanding INKverse lore. The voice of Ghostface himself, Roger L. Jackson, reprises his iconic role. The story picks up directly from 2025’s “The Laugh Track,”, which saw Matthew Lillard playing himself. "Bite Harder Than You Bleed came from this place of being completely jaded with the music industry—the pressure to act the same, think the same, and worship the same idols. It's that 'kill your idols' moment where you realize even the people you look up to are just as hollow, anxious, and bruised as you are. Lines like 'falsely shallow, hollow, refusing to follow' and 'your idols hate you too' were me processing how disheartening it can feel, but also how freeing it is to acknowledge it. LA-based alt-rock artist TX2 has today released his debut album End Of Us via Hopeless Records. "'Can We Watch Something Happy' is written from the perspective of my childhood self. I struggled with severe OCD growing up, which was intensified by being raised in a religious household. Then having Andy's voice brings a weight and intensity that was perfect for the emotion of the track—he played the perfect character and created cinematic chaos. This song is the lead single of our album 'The End of Us' and features our biggest music video yet. Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, progressive metalcore outfit Rogue have released their new track and music video "Dominion", via their new label home, Papercut Recordings. The dark, industrial-laced single speaks to the strong influence that various types of addiction can have over one's life. When asked about the song and signing, the band shared:

"‘Dominion’ is a song about the grip that different forms of addiction and temptations in life can have over us. While drugs are the most usual form of addiction, we kept the lyrics more open to interpretation so that it can apply to most vices whether that be sex, money, power, food, etc. We adamantly stand united with all of those who suffer from these afflictions, and want them to know they are not alone. Four years removed from their last record ‘Phantom', Rogue returns with new single "Dominion" with a new message in tow. While loyal listeners of the band have grown to expect the scrutinization of political structures and metaphysical realities from vocalist Jansen Nunezatop pummeling riffs from guitarist Jeffrey Fisher, the progressive metalcore act have shifted into unchartered territory with "Dominion" to reflect on something different: themselves.

Following the introspective and somber tone on ‘Phantom’, the trilogy the band had crafted across their first three records was now complete. But all the time spent looking inward during a global pandemic took its toll, and the band decided to take a break until they felt a new message needed to be shared. The video, created by The (John) Candy entirely using AI, unfolds like a fever dream through abandoned suburban Los Angeles.
