Messina Touring Group Elevates Rachel Powers to Vice President

Messina Touring Group (MTG) has elevated Rachel Powers from Vice President of Marketing to Vice President, reflecting her expanding role within the company and her continued impact on the live entertainment industry.

In addition to prior responsibilities of co-leading the marketing department and overseeing tour marketing for Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Zac Brown Band, this new role expands Powers’ focus beyond marketing to include broader oversight and more deeply involved in high-level decision-making, cross-functional leadership and driving overall growth for the business
 
Powers has been a driving force behind some of country music’s most successful tours. Since 2017, she has overseen tour marketing for Shelton, from his Doing It to Country Songs Tour to his upcoming 2026 Live in Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum.
 
She leads marketing for Church’s highly anticipated Free the Machine Tour launching this weekend, following her work on his The Gather Again Tour, which sold over 860,000 tickets, grossed $100 million, and earned Top Country Tour at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards and Church’s record-breaking Double Down Tour in 2019, which sold more than 770,000 tickets, grossed nearly $72 million and made history as the first solo headliner at Nissan Stadium.
 
Her contributions have been widely recognized throughout the industry. She has been named to Billboard’s Country Power Players list (2024, 2025) and Women in Music Executive list (2023, 2025). She was selected for the second cohort of the Country Music Association’s Women’s Leadership Academy, recognized as an inaugural honoree on Pollstar’s Impact: NextGen list in 2019, and invited to join the first class of the American Express Women in Music Leadership Academy.

Boys Like Girls Release "THE HOMECOMING (LIVE FROM THE MGM MUSIC HALL AT FENWAY PARK)"

In 2023, alt-pop powerhouse BOYS LIKE GIRLS made a long-awaited return with Sunday At Foxwoods, their first album in over a decade.

The record is a beautiful meeting of their melody-driven pop anthems delivered with the maturity of a band that had many years of growth in between. It served as a bold reintroduction that resonated with a new generation of listeners, while igniting the hearts of longtime fans.
 
After writing and producing for artists like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Jason Derulo, frontman and songwriter Martin Johnson brought a sharpened pen and a deeper sense of purpose back to the mic.
 

With renewed energy, the band performed a sold-out show to 5,000 fans on October 26, 2023 on their hometown stage at Boston's MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park.
 
The 120-minute set was filmed and captured BLG in their most natural state — on the stage and in front of fans in unfiltered, electric, and unforgettable fashion.

Today, the band releases THE HOMECOMING (LIVE FROM THE MGM MUSIC HALL AT FENWAY PARK)  a living, breathing document of the evening. Listen here.

Ahead of the album release, the band hosted a premiere of the live concert film for an intimate gathering of lucky winner at Brain Dead Studios on Fairfax last Friday, September 5.

Push Puppets present heart-melting single 'Probably', showcasing new 'Tethered Together' album

Chicago indie pop-rock outfit Push Puppets present 'Probably', with an endearing video that pays homage to a very special basset hound named Louie. This is the latest audio-visual offering from the band's fourth multifaceted album 'Tethered Together', released via Flowering Tree Music.

Push Puppets creates songs with earworm melodies and shiny production that belie often-bittersweet sentiments. This is the creative outlet for singer-songwriter and guitarist Erich Specht (lead vocals, guitar), who is joined by a core of Steve Frisbie (backup vocals, guitar), Kyle Magnusson (keyboards), John William Lauler (bass) and Greg Essig (drums).

"Probably" is a song celebrating the life of a loved one who has moved to the other side. The verses, sung in harmony, build to a chorus that expresses a desire to send one last message. An instrumental break featuring a string quartet elevates the final chorus and outro to a dramatic and powerful conclusion.

Erich Specht shares, "I wrote this song for my awesome big basset hound Louie when he died.  It's meant to be a celebration of the time together with someone who has passed."

A real demonstration of team-work, this videos was produced by Scott Thiele and Sebastian Gonzales and features artwork and animation by renowned Turkish artist Uluc Ali Kilic with video editing and animation by Tcomas Studio. Push Puppets are joined here by a string quartet with Stephanie “Sly” Young on violin, Katherine Andrick on viola, Molly Rife on cello and Kelly Jozwiak on violin (note: Janis Sakai performs in the audio recording).

Produced by Doug McBride (Smashing Pumpkins, Veruca Salt, Silversun Pickups, Cheap Trick) and Erich Specht, ‘Tethered Together’ was mixed and mastered by Doug McBride at Gravity Studios in Chicago. Most of the songs on this album also involve a string quartet, with a horn section on one.

Erich Specht crafts deeply moving music with a masterful blend of soaring harmonies, sharp guitar lines, and sweeping keyboard and string arrangements - all of this anchored by a powerful rhythm section. Exploring themes of love, heartache, and the complexities of human existence, his lyrics feel both poetic and natural, locking into the melodies with precision. This album is a testament to his raw honesty, inviting listeners on a truly unpredictable and heartfelt journey.

'Probably' follows the band's latest offering - 'Shake It Like You Mean It', a lighthearted Spanish-tinged rocker about lowering your inhibitions, with a video resembling a silent movie flashback to 1894-1927 with footage of pie fights, magic, dancing and dating.

Earlier, Push Puppets shared 'Launching a Satellite', a brilliant hymn on insecurity, 'This Whole Endeavor', exploring the ebb and flow of a past relationship set to a memorable piano riff, the arena-rock anthem ‘Similar’ about universal connections, the super-catchy 'Hearts Aren’t Souvenirs', the AM-friendly anthem 'Probably', and 'All Together On 3', highlighting the strength found in unity.

After a lighthearted interlude with the retro rocker 'Tell Colleen to Calm Down', the album delves into the pain of lost love in the Americana-influenced'Hearts Are Fragile' before reaching a powerful and dramatic conclusion with 'The Logical Conclusion', driven by intense strings and piano.

Ray Luzier & Billy Sheehan Join KALAMITY KILLS on “I Don’t Know”

Rising rock force KALAMITY KILLS unleashes a bold and reverent take on “I Don’t Know” with their latest video release, featuring powerhouse drummer Ray Luzier (KORN) and legendary bassist Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG, THE WINERY DOGS). This electrifying reinterpretation of the classic track pays homage to the enduring legacy of the Prince of Darkness himself: OZZY OSBOURNE.

The idea for the tribute was sparked after the band witnessed OZZY’s final performance at the Back to the Beginning Concert in Birmingham, England. Deeply moved, KALAMITY KILLS set out to honor the icon who shaped so much of their musical DNA.

Guitarist JAMEY PERRENOT, whose playing is deeply influenced by the late, great RANDY RHOADS, infused this version of “I Don’t Know” with both reverence and fire. Fans of OZZY will also hear subtle nods to other classics woven throughout: a sonic Easter egg hunt for the diehards.

Special thanks to Ray Luzier and Billy Sheehan for joining the sonic rebellion on this one.

The release also comes with news that the Expanded Edition of Kalamity Kills will be available on September 9, 2025. This edition will include brand-new tracks, alternate mixes, and exclusive content on CD in limited quantities. A candy apple red vinyl edition is set to follow in April 2026.

Ponte Del Diavolo Release Roadburn Live Video

Last year, Ponte Del Diavolo made their mark by bridging the gap between two nefarious corners of the underground on their fiery debut album. Fire Blades from the Tomb welds doom and black metal into a towering, twisted new wave of dark art that's as cruel and mesmerizing as their native Italy's infamous Devil's Bridge.

As they prepare to unfurl their next deadly creation, today, Ponte Del Diavolo are releasing a new video from their mesmerizing performance at Roadburn. Weaving enchantments of synth, theremin and clarinet into their ritual dance with death, "Covenant" burns with newfound intensity when stoked by the fiery response from this year's festival crowd.

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO bridges the gap between two separate worlds.

The Italian band proposes a Doom / Black metal sound with old-school roots, adding a modern and outside the box background. The female voice - with strong dark wave influences - is the lyric corpus of this strongly esoteric project. The solid presence of two bassists creates the massive foundation for the rhythmic guitar, everything marked by a raw and dynamic drumming.

Mystery of Mystery / Secret Live Session marked the quintet’s debut EP. It was recorded live and without editing at Dracma Studio with the producer L’Ossario in their home base of Turin in March 2020. "I" was released on the web by Iopan Records. It was soon followed by their second single, "The Wickedest Woman In the World".

At the end of 2021, Ponte Del Diavolo recorded their second EP, Sancta Menstruis at Deepest Sea Studio in Turin with Danilo Battocchio. The first single,  "The Unborn", arrived in February 2022.

The band's third EP, Ave Scintilla!, was also recorded in Turin. This time around, they reconvened at Dracma Studio with L'Ossario.

Now that they've signed with Season of Mist, Ponte Del Diavolo are ready to release their debut album. Fire Blades From the Tomb  forgesclassic, cultish doom metal with modern bents of post-punk. Lead single and opening track “Demone” is whipped along by a boiled black bass line and dark-wave induced vocals.

Prepare to cross over into the Italian dark arts.

Rocklahoma roared back over Labor Day weekend, cementing its place as one of America's premier rock and metal festivals with a total attendance of 76,930 fans across four days!

A WEEKEND OF MILESTONES:

Rocklahoma's online presence erupted this year with over 4 million in social media engagement and participation more than doubled, with fans devouring backstage clips, pit footage, and fan-shot festival moments and the debut of "Rocklahoma Live," the festival's official backstage broadcast.

CAPTURING THE MOMENTS: 
The Rocklahoma content team, led by Mike and Chantal Savage of Vision Savage Media (Kansas City, MO), delivered wall-to-wall coverage that drove record engagement. From pit-level Knocked Loose footage to cinematic artist and crowd shots, their work helped Rocklahoma dominate social feeds all weekend long.

Rocklahoma 2025 marked Marilyn Manson's first major tour performance in years and it felt like stepping back into the wild '90s. His eerie stagecraft, dark charisma, and total command of the crowd made his set one of the most talked-about comebacks in recent rock memory.

Alice Cooper Still Reigns:
With snakes, guillotines, and pure rock theater, Alice Cooper turned the Pryor fields into his personal stage play reminding fans why the Godfather of Shock Rock still defines the genre.

Shinedown Ignites the Masses:
Shinedown delivered an arena-sized explosion of light, sound, and anthems. Tens of thousands belted out every lyric in unison, creating a worthy chorus that carried across the Oklahoma night.

Tom Morello's Legacy Lives On:
Morello's guitar pyrotechnics reached new heights when he brought his son on stage for a jaw-dropping father-son guitar duel. The younger Morello stunned the crowd with his chops, proving that rock's fire passes from generation to generation.

Five Finger Death Punch Unleashes the Pit:
Few bands own the pit like Five Finger. Their bone-crushing riffs and commanding energy whipped Rocklahoma into a frenzy, unleashing chaos, sweat, and unity in one of the weekend's heaviest sets.

Jah Wobble shares 'Tyson Dub Remix' video from 'Dub Volume 1' album ahead of Euro-UK tour

Legendary bass player and vocalist Jah Wobble has released the animated video for 'Tyson Dub Remix', a solid gem from his new album ‘Dub Volume 1', dedicated to his dear departed Staffordshire bull terrier.

Jah Wobble's poignant account of his rescue dog, Tyson, reveals a bond that was both tough and tender. He recalls how the staffy, described by the shelter as "just absolutely sort of delinquent," was a dog "full of love, full of fun" and a steadfast companion on their daily 10–12 mile hikes. Wobble reflects on the heartache of Tyson's final days, a battle with cancer that ended peacefully in a final, heartbreaking moment: "And when he had to go, he just went to sleep in my lap. So that was it".

Born John Wardle, his career has encapsulated genres from post-punk, dub and world music to experimental rock and electronic music. An original member of Public Image Ltd (PiL) from 1978-80, he made two groundbreaking albums with the band, which included the iconic ‘Metal Box’ (1979). He continues to tour with 'Metal Box in Dub', presented as a two-hour show with Jon Klein.

This is Wobble's first solo release via Dimple Discs, having earlier participated in other label releases with Telefís (Cathal Coughlan and Jacknife Lee), The Ukrainians, along with Siouxsie & The Banshees / Specimen legend Jon Klein, and the Irish heritage project Bring Your Own Hammer.

A solo effort that sees him write, play and arrange everything, this long-play record features full-colour outer and inner sleeves based on paintings that Wobble created himself. The Limited Edition vinyl is clear with yellow and red colours dropped in to reflect the artwork.

Mastered by Anthony Chapman (Collapsed Lung) and cut for maximum clarity and volume, this solo deep dive into dub boasts astounding top layer sonics, guided by sonic pioneers like Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and King Tubby. This rich, immersive listen is full of low-end weight and intricately layered textures.

The album includes the groovy dub offering 'Dub In The East' and also 'Old Jewish East End Of London Dub', both of which were inspired by his East London upbringing - a deep dive into the historical influences that shaped his community, from the waves of Irish immigration and the perilous lives of his watermen ancestors on the River Thames, to the vibrant Jewish community that had long made the area its home.

UK-based electronic artist Max Rael (History of Guns) presents 'Almost' from debut album

British electronic artist Max Rael presents 'Almost', a powerful and introspective track that explores the gut-wrenching feeling of being on the brink of success, only to have it slip through your fingers. It’s a raw look at the best-laid plans—whether in love, career, or life in general—and the crushing disappointment that comes with defeat. 

This is the latest taste of Rael's debut solo album 'The Enemy Is Us', released via London imprint Liquid Len Media. Capturing the moment when hope gives way to anger and self-blame, a feeling many of us know all too well, this is a track for anyone who has ever dared to dream, only to be left to pick up the pieces.

Showcases his singular talents, unique twists on sound design, and unique lyrical perspectives, Rael's powerful thought-provoking spoken-word lyrics confront a world in freefall—its corruption, alienation, and misery. Conflating a painfully personal portrait of an interior world, this is an achingly universal depiction of society and the world outside. Unearthing a resilient core of hope and gallows humour that burns brightly through the darkness, this is a complex and compelling take on the human condition.

"I wrote 'Almost' about the anger that comes from failure, especially when you've put everything on the line. I wanted to explore the idea that when things don’t work out, that anger can so easily turn inward. It’s a commentary on that self-defeating spiral where you start to question your own right to hope in the first place. This song, along with the music video, is about finding a way to release that frustration in a safe way, a way that doesn’t turn into self-punishment," says Max Rael

"The music video visually represents this theme of suppressed anger and release. Inspired by Stu Francis, host of early 1980's UK children's television program 'Crackerjack' and his classic catchphrase "Ooh I could crush a grape," the video features the repeated motif of fruit being squashed. This act serves as a metaphor for finding a healthy, acceptable way to vent your frustrations rather than internalizing them. It’s a commentary on the small acts of release we can use to prevent our anger from becoming a destructive force."  

Based in Hertfordshire, Max Rael is a key creative force in the UK underground, beginning with 1990s-2000s electro-goth trailblazers History Of Guns, frontrunners of the Wasp Factory / FuturePunk scene, and later, Decommissioned Forests. Musician, writer, actor, engineer and producer, Max Rael has collaborated with Fish (Marillion), Last July, Kommand + Kontrol, Freudstein and Bienheldenschafgegenstand

A dark bouquet of minimalist synth, darkwave and spoken-word electronic pop, Rael's album introduces his compelling ‘futuretroist’ sound: an alternative sonic universe built on a unique sound design that feels at once familiar and alien. Rael recently released the video for  'Pressing Against The Glass', a danceable elegy for those who don't "belong", channelling the deep-seated ache of being an outsider.

Rael's earlier shadow-streaked 'Slightly Less Than Human' is a nervy electronic track with a great hooky synth melody and spoken word vocals. Partly inspired by Japanese author Osamu Dazai. Lyrically, Max Rael relays his feeling of being somehow different from the rest of the human race, while the non-album B-side 'When the Only Winning Move Is Not to Play' relates to the 1983 film "War Games" and the book 'The Games People Play' by Eric Berne.

Max Rael's debut single 'Brighter Future', released in April, explores avoidant strategies of coping with life in a seemingly increasingly chaotic and unsafe world and an anticipated dystopian future. The B-side 'The People We Love Have Won (Persistence Is All)' is darker, named after Coil's 2000 London performance at The Royal Festival Hall (which he also tattooed on the inside of Rael's left wrist).

Spoken word, electronic music and loud drums feature strongly on the 12-track album, produced and mixed by Max Rael with additional mixing by Caden Clarkson and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Nick Cave, Depeche Mode, Pixies. Nine Inch Nails).Fusing a range of electronic music styles with other genres, Max Rael is a master journeyman of existential exploration into humanity, self, society, reality, psychology, philosophy and the future.

Shot among rusted rebar and yellow-jacket swarms, the “depleted” video captures the dystopian atmosphere of the record’s second act - wild, decaying, and haunted. Sharing more on the experience, vocalist Justin Bonitz shares

“Despite all the dust, yellow jackets, and rusty rebar, this was one of the coolest locations we have ever shot at. There was so much to explore, and it really captured the vibe/aesthetic we saw in our heads when listening to the song. Derek Rathbun (director) made everything so easy and streamlined, so the shoot felt a lot shorter than it actually was. ‘Depleted’ is one of the weirdest songs on the album, and we were hoping the video would match the same energy. Have fun listening!”

Primeval: Obsession // Detachment was recorded live in Michigan with producer Josh Schroeder using no clicks, no edits, and no safety nets. Like its four predecessors “What we know”, “A primeval detachment”, “augmented" and "as fate undoes" also ties directly into the album’s layered sci-fi narrative. The concept follows two characters, Ana and Sheelah, on a morally destructive journey across an alien world. Primeval: Obsession // Detachment stands as Tallah's most ambitious and uncompromising work to date. Weaving sci-fi storytelling together with deliberately imperfect performances, Tallah prove that human instinct still has power in an increasingly artificial landscape.

Following today’s release, Tallah will play a select run of album release shows this month before hitting the road this fall in support of King 810, kicking off November 3 in Lawrence, KS. The tour was sparked after the band’s longtime producer Josh Schroeder played King 810 frontman David Gunn an early preview of Primeval.

“David Gunn hit us up after Josh Schroeder showed him our new album,” says bassist Max Portnoy. “Both bands share a love for raw, live recordings, so he was super into what we were doing and invited us to join the tour. We were stoked since we’ve been into King for as long as we’ve been a band.”

ABOUT TALLAH

Emerging from Pennsylvania in 2018, Tallah fuse the percussive force of second-generation drummer-turned-bassist Max Portnoy with the unpredictable dexterity of vocalist and viral phenom Justin Bonitz and the phenomenal guitarist duo of Derrick Schneider and Alex Snowden to form a sound that’s part brutalist nu-metal, part theatrical meltdown, and entirely their own. Decamping to Michigan to record the entire project live with longtime producer Josh Schroeder, the band abandoned edits, clicks, backing tracks, and rules. What remains is pure instinct—feral, volatile, and unrelentingly human.

Conceptually, the record unfolds across a sci-fi narrative that follows Ana, a nurse, and Sheelah, an assassin—two strangers manipulated by a shadowy force and driven to the edges of their morality. The mirrored structure, warped sonic callbacks, easter eggs and ambiguous lyrical layering reflect a story full of tests, dualities, and spiraling identity shifts.

To date, Tallah have clocked up 29.7 million Spotify streams and 6 million YouTube views.

Many Eyes came together in the winter of 2022 and immediately went to work crafting a sound that was as brutal as it was melodic. Canadian-born Rick Hughes is renowned for his powerful and rangey voice as the lead singer of the legendary metal band Sword, and of the hard-rock band Saints & Sinners. A seasoned performer with hundreds of headlining shows in Canada, America, Europe and Japan over the years, and his superb stage performances while opening for bands such as Metallica, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Black Label Society, etc. 
 
So when it was time for him to record ‘’Redemption’’, his first international solo album, he spared no expenses and efforts to make this album a great one, hiring producer John Webster (Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, AC/DC, etc.) and renting HippoSonic Recording Studio (formerly known as Little Mountain Studios) in Vancouver to record this opus.

Emerging from the shadows of grief, reflection, and the raw beauty of metal, DREAMS OF GRAY returns with their new EP, A Beginning, set for release on September 5th, 2025. Based in Chicago, IL, this one-man project helmed by Luis Rivera first turned heads with the 2023 debut The World After—an independent release that earned praise from the global metal press. Critics from highlighted the debut's sharp songwriting, emotional weight, and its fusion of melodic death, doom, and thrash metal. Now, A Beginning builds upon that foundation and pushes the project’s boundaries even further.

Though DREAMS OF GRAY began as a solo endeavor, Rivera has always surrounded himself with top-tier collaborators to bring his compositions to life. On A Beginning, he is joined by Maria Kosma on bass, Nicole Trinchero on drums for the title track, and Scott Elliot, who handled drum programming on "Beyond the Sky" and "Across the Endless Sea" while also contributing engineering, mixing, and mastering to both. Meanwhile, Josh Middleton took on engineering and mixing duties for "A Beginning", as well as mastering the track. The result is an EP that feels cohesive but unpredictable, aggressive yet melodic, and deeply personal without ever losing sight of metal’s cathartic power.

The EP opens with "A Beginning", a track that embodies the thematic and sonic range of the release. It flows from haunting melodies into crushing intensity, shifting gears between clean vocals and growls, mid-tempo movements and furious headbanging riffs. Its lyrical content wrestles with existential grief—how the living cope with loss, and what unresolved questions remain after someone we love is gone. Rivera's performance here is dynamic, moving between softness and fury, crafting a song that challenges convention but never forgets to move the listener.

"Beyond the Sky" follows as the EP’s most direct track—a high-energy explosion rooted in death metal and thrash. It’s an anthem for the live stage, but beneath its furious pace is a meditation on the soul’s journey through eternity. The song blends brutal riffs with melody in a way that fans of IN FLAMES, AMORPHIS, or DARK TRANQUILITY will appreciate. Here, Rivera asks the big questions: What lies beyond this life? What does peace look like for a restless soul?

Closing the EP is "Across the Endless Sea", perhaps the most dynamic composition in the DREAMS OF GRAY discography so far. While it offers some of the EP’s fastest passages, it never sacrifices melody. In fact, the chorus showcases new approaches to Rivera’s clean vocals—experimental, memorable, and emotionally resonant. There’s even a trace of black metal’s influence in the guitar textures, cleverly reworked to serve the EP’s broader melodic vision. Lyrically, the song explores the interconnectedness of life—how we are all part of a web that links the living with the departed, and how each of us carries others forward across our own seas.

Formerly an electrician and a member of ABOLISHER (a band with acclaim in Metal Maniacs and Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles back in 2002), Rivera took a long pause from music to pursue medicine. Now, with that chapter stabilized, he returns fully committed to his artistic vision.

Swim the Current Release New Single "Set It Off" via TLG|ZOID ​  

The dynamic rock band Swim the Current is excited to announce the release of their latest single, "Set It Off", via TLG|ZOID, distributed by Virgin Music Group. This incredible new track was co-produced by George Pond and David Caplinger.

 

Alongside the single, Swim the Current also premiered the official music video for “Set It Off" that was directed by Tom Flynn. The video delivers a spoof on the cult-classic film Point Break, along with the band’s high-octane performance.

Having played in numerous bands throughout the years, Guitarist Greg Antine came to a point in his career where he wanted to branch out and write songs that had more depth and were inspired by his personal life experiences. Having worked with Bassist George Pond for several years in previous projects including, Disciples Of Verity, Greg expressed his concept for Swim The Current to George in hopes of collaborating with him on this new music venture. The two began to flesh out ideas in George’s home studio and realized quickly that they were on to something special, but still needed something more to see their ideas through to complete their concepts. Greg was introduced to Joe Gareri, Guitar/Keyboards, by George during the Disciples Of Verity debut album recording sessions which Joe is also featured on as a guest artist. The three of them immediately hit it off and worked extremely well together. Greg and George realized that Joe’s cinematic writing style would be a perfect match for their concepts and Joe was then brought in as a full time member. After two songs were completed and demo’d in George’s studio utilizing programmed drums, it was suggested by their friend Allyson Song River Jaynes, that they reach out to her friend, drummer Chris Moore of Ultraphonix, Rock Of Ages, to see if he would be interested in working with the project. Upon hearing the strength of songwriting and musicianship of the band, Chris was all in and signed on as the fourth full time member of STC and now the band, from an instrument’s perspective, was complete.

 

The final missing piece for STC was a lead vocalist who could capture the sound they envisioned for their music. After working in the studio with a few different vocalists, George ultimately reached out to his friend Marcos Leal, of legendary international touring band Ill Nino. Marcos loved the music of STC as well as having the freedom and creativity of writing lyrics for the project. After recording their first song together with Marcos, "We Are Not The Same", everyone new that this lineup was something special and Swim The Current was now complete! The release of "We Are Not The Same" took off instantly, and amassed thousands of streams, YouTube views and followers through a total organic DIY social media campaign.

 

Swim The Current’s sound is influenced and reminiscent of many of their favorite artists including, Deftones, Faith No More, Sevendust, POD, and Stabbing Westward. They continue to write new music and look forward to sharing their future releases with the world!

Masked metal insurgents Swollen Teeth have released their new album 'Ask Nothing' (via Blowed Out Records), produced by legendary producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Glassjaw, At The Drive In) and Slipknot's Sid Wilson. In celebration of the release, the quartet has shared their official music video for "Nothing". When asked about the album, the band commented:

Jet Jaguar Release Video for "Fool's Paradise"

Mexican metal band JET JAGUAR have released the video for new single "Fool's Paradise" today. The song appears on their upcoming album Severance out October 24.

 

 "A biting satire aimed at far-right ideology and conspiracy culture, 'Fool’s Paradise' is a first-person mockery of the anti-science mindset," the band says. "With sharp lyrics and a driving sound, the track takes aim at flat-earthers, anti-vaxxers, and the rise of reactionary politics in the U.S.!"
