Saint Asonia Share "Wolf" Video — // Band Touring This Spring

Hard rock juggernaut SAINT ASONIA — comprised of heavy hitters Adam Gontier (former Three Days Grace frontman) and Mike Mushok (Staind guitarist/founding member), along with Cole Gontier (bass) and Cody Watkins (drums) — have shared the official video for the new version of their song "Wolf." This version features guest vocals from Skillet's John Cooper; the original appears on the Introvert/Extrovert album.

Watch it below.

The anthemic song's crunchy riffs and confident vocals and lyrics are amplified by the addition of Cooper. The collaboration was born when both bands toured together in the spring and fall of last year.

"The video for 'Wolf' was shot live on November 22 in Salem, Virginia," says Gontier. "It was filmed and directed by Justin Reich, who directed both the' Above It All' and 'Devastate' videos, and has done a lot of photography for the band, as well."

He continues, "It was a really special night. We had John Cooper get up and perform 'Wolf' with us for the shoot, which we hadn't done on the tour up to that point. And let me tell you, John is a pro. He brought such a high level of intensity to the stage that night. We all just fed off each other's energy, and you can definitely see and feel that in this video."

Saint Asonia Share "Devastate" Video — WATCH // Band On Tour Now!

ON TOUR NOW WITH SKILLET + THEORY OF A DEADMAN

Hard rock juggernaut SAINT ASONIA have released the music video for their single "Devastate." Watch the video below.

The song is featured on the band's new album, Introvert/Extrovert, which was released last December via Spinefarm. The full-length also features previous singles "Above It All" and "Blinding Lights."

Commenting on the new video, lead singer Adam Gontier shares"We’re excited to share the new official video for 'Devastate!' Once again working with director Justin Reich, we had a blast doing this one. Hope you all enjoy it! 🤘🏻"

Talking about the meaning behind the track, Gontier adds, "It's a song I wrote about those people in our lives that always seem to leave a trail of destruction behind them. I feel like we've all got, or had, someone in our lives that was just evil. Not caring about anything but themselves, and turning everything they touch into darkness. 'Devastate' is about that."

SAINT ASONIA, comprised of heavy hitters Gontier (former Three Days Grace front man) and Mike Mushok (Staind guitarist/founding member), have been making plenty of noise of late! In addition to the stellar release of Introvert/Extrovert, the band is currently on tour in the US supporting Theory of a Deadman and Skillet.

Following the U.S. trek, Saint Asonia will play a series of headline shows in Canada, along with a support gig in the band's hometown with Theory of a Deadman. In anticipation of these dates, Gontier says, "We are really stoked to be coming back home to Canada for a few shows! We're working up a killer set for the headline shows, and supporting Theory in our hometown of Peterborough is going to be awesome! Let'd goooo CA!!!"

Today, the band shared the visualizer for the new single "Chasing the Light."

Saint Asonia — rounded out by Cale Gontier [bass] and Cody Watkins [drums]— have perfected a fusion of gut-punching grooves, intricate fretwork, airtight songwriting, and soaring choruses.

For as much as Gontier and Mushok had achieved in multiplatinum rock acts Three Days Grace and Staind, respectively, the musicians also architected the framework for a singular legacy together in Saint Asonia.

2015's self-titled 'Saint Asonia' kicked open the door as Loudwire crowned them "Best New Artist" at the Loudwire Music Awards. The 2019 follow-up, 'Flawed Design', only ingratiated a growing fan base. Lead single "The Hunted," featuring Sully Erna of Godsmack, racked up 13 million Spotify streams, bringing their cumulative streams near the 100 million-mark. New Noise awarded it 4.5-out-of-5 stars and urged, "Any fan of hard rock (whether they've listened in recently or not) should give Saint Asonia a spin."

Meanwhile, Loudwire named it among "The 50 Best Rock Albums of the Year." Along the way, they hit the road with the likes of Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Alter Bridge, and Mötley Crüe.

Saint Asonia will bring their rock back to the road this winter, supporting Skillet and Theory of a Deadman on tour. All dates for the Rock Resurrection Tour, which kicks off on February 17 in Gary, Indiana before wrapping on March 26 in Los Angeles, are below.

SAINT ASONIA SHARE "BETTER LATE THAN NEVER"

Hard rock juggernaut Saint Asonia, featuring former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok, have shared the new song "Better Late Than Never" from their upcoming Introvert EP. The EP arrives on July 1 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

The new track finds frontman Gontier laying his cards face-up on the table. Listen below.

"This is a song I wrote about growth," says Gontier. "I've battled drug and alcohol addiction for years and years. I've been in and out of rehab, trying to change and trying to become a better person. I finally hit a point in my life back in 2017, where I was just done. All of that back and forth with addiction just took its toll. I was tired — and motivated. I got clean and have stayed that way since. It took a long time to become the person I wanted to be. As they say, better late than never..."

The EP also features the band's well-received cover of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," which arrived last year. Additionally, the single "Above It All" is currently ascending the rock radio charts.

The quartet — rounded out by Cale Gontier [bass] and Cody Watkins [drums]— have perfected a fusion of gut-punching grooves, intricate fretwork, airtight songwriting, and soaring choruses. For as much as Gontier and Mushok had achieved in multiplatinum rock acts Three Days Grace and Staind, respectively, the musicians also architected the framework for a singular legacy together in Saint Asonia. 2015's self-titled Saint Asonia kicked open the door as Loudwire crowned them "Best New Artist" at the Loudwire Music Awards. Saint Asonia Cover The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" — LISTEN

Hard rock band Saint Asonia, featuring former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok, have dropped a new song and it's totally unexpected yet makes complete sense. The band has shared its cover of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights." Listen to Saint Asonia put their thoroughly unique spin on the hit song below.

It's like a mashup of both artist's sounds and it finds Saint Asonia fearlessly trying new things, while putting their distinct stamp on the track, making it their own.

"It's always interesting deciding on a song to cover," muses Gontier about how the band arrived at the decision to cover an R&B/pop artist. "In this case, I just wanted to do something that people wouldn't necessarily expect. I mean, any way you look at it, 'Blinding Lights' is a GREAT song. It was fun to give it our flavor, and add our style to it. Also, both we and The Weeknd are Canadian, specifically from the Toronto area, so that made it even sweeter. We're all pumped with how it turned out. It hits hard."

Saint Asonia, who released their sophomore effort Flawed Design on Spinefarm Records in 2019, continue to work on new music, set to arrive in 2022.

VIDEO IS COMPRISED OF FAN-SUBMITTED FOOTAGE

Saint Asonia, featuring former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok, have shared the video for "Ghost."

The video is a collaboration between the band and its fans, featuring clips and art submitted by fans from around the world.

"We invited our fans to show us what the song means to them and we wanted to work with them to create the visual to go along with it," Gontier says about the video's creation, which was new territory for him. "I've actually never done something like this in the past. It's been a great process, and the video turned out awesome."

As for the song itself, Gontier continues, "It's about losing someone in your life — whether it be to death, drugs, sickness. It's about trying to put the pieces back together after going through something unbearable. Sonically, it's got a different feel. It's not just a straightforward song written around a specific riff. It's probably one of my favorite songs we've ever written as a band."

"Ghost" appears on Saint Asonia's sophomore effort Flawed Design, out now via Spinefarm Records. The single "The Hunted," featuring Godsmack's Sully Erna, was a Top 5 radio smash.

#SAINTASONIAHAPPYHOUR HAPPENS EVERY FRIDAY

As a way to continue to perform live for their fans during the current quarantine conditions, Saint Asonia have announced a "virtual tour" where the band will perform on the the different social media platforms of rock radio stations around the country. The band will add a local flavor to each performance.

Saint Asonia just dropped their new single "Blind."

"It's been really important to myself and the band to do everything we can to try and stay connected with fans, and with the people who play our music," says singer Adam Gontier. "We wouldn't be where we are without the amazing love and support rock radio has shown us over the years. We ended up having this really unique opportunity to play live acoustic shows for a number of stations throughout the month of May, and we're really excited to do it. During this strange and somewhat disappointing period in time, it's the least we can do. We're stoked to do a virtual tour, and play some shows for all of the people who support us."

He continues, "It also gives us a chance to introduce our new single 'Blind' to people. It's a song about pushing through to the end, no matter how tough it gets. It's a strong sentiment, considering what the world is going through."

Saint Asonia continue to hold #SaintAsoniaHappyHour sessions every Friday night, which are all about the talk, the tunes, and the connection with fans.

Saint Asonia, featuring former Three Days Grace frontman Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok, released their sophomore effort Flawed Design in fall 2019 via Spinefarm Records. The single "The Hunted," featuring Godsmack's Sully Erna, was a Top 10 radio smash.
