THE DAMN TRUTH Signs with Frontiers Music Srl & Announce Deluxe Edition of Acclaimed Self-Titled Album Set for Release on September 11th

Following the success of their critically acclaimed, JUNO Award-nominated self-titled album, THE DAMN TRUTH are thrilled to be joining Frontiers Music Srl as the label prepares the worldwide release ofThe Damn Truth’ (Deluxe Edition) with a bonus track on September 11, 2026. To celebrate the announcement, the band also shares a remastered version of "The Willow" (2026), alongside an official music video, available below.

Originally featured on the band's critically acclaimed self-titled album, produced by legendary Grammy Award-winning producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, The Offspring), the track launches an exciting new chapter as THE DAMN TRUTH prepare to bring the album to a worldwide audience through its first global physical release.

Atmospheric, powerful, and deeply emotive, "The Willow" has become a fan favorite since the album's release. Showcasing the band's ability to balance raw rock energy with vulnerability and soul, the song captures the spirit of a band that has spent more than a decade forging its own path through relentless touring, unwavering determination and a fierce commitment to authentic rock and roll.

Like the solitary tree depicted on its striking artwork, "The Willow" is a song about endurance. Rooted deeply yet constantly moving with the wind, it reflects the journey of a band that has never stopped believing in its vision while building a growing international audience one stage at a time.

Watch the Music Video for "The Willow" (2026)

Originally released in 2025, ‘The Damn Truth’ marked a defining moment in the band's career. Produced by Bob Rock, the self-titled album showcased a band operating at the height of its creative powers, blending timeless rock and roll, blues-infused swagger, powerful songwriting and the unmistakable voice of frontwoman Lee-la Baum.

Speaking about the album and this next chapter, the band shares:

"When we began writing what would become our self-titled album, 'The Damn Truth,' we knew there was only one way forward: to dig deeper than we’d ever gone before. Not because anyone expected it from us, but because there was a fire burning in this band, a hunger to create something honest, something powerful, something that would move us as much as the records that shaped our lives.

Bringing Bob Rock into the fold took that vision to another level. There was something truly magical in the air during those sessions, an energy that’s hard to explain and impossible to manufacture. We weren’t just making a record we were chasing a feeling, capturing moments that felt bigger than ourselves and committing them to tape."

They continue, "What happened next was beyond anything we could have imagined. Watching these songs find their way into your lives has been the greatest reward we’ve ever known as artists. Time and again, we’ve heard your stories, your interpretations, and the deeply personal connections you’ve forged with this music. That’s the real magic of rock & roll. Once the songs leave our hands, they belong to all of us.

It’s been an incredible journey so far, and yet we’ve only just begun! We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Frontiers Music and the worldwide release of 'The Damn Truth' Deluxe Edition. Featuring a bonus track, and new surprises, this marks our first global release with Frontiers and a chance to bring these songs to an even wider audience around the world.

To celebrate, we’ll be hitting the road for an extensive UK and European tour, including select dates this fall alongside the legendary band Europe. We can’t wait to share these nights with you - SEE YOU OUT THERE!"

PRISON CITY BRIGADE is back and louder than ever with the release of their explosive new single, "Stuck (Re-Duckz)," a relentless punk rock assault that transforms anxiety, frustration, and emotional exhaustion into a powerful anthem of survival and defiance.

Packed with driving guitars, thunderous drums, and an urgent vocal performance that feels like it's ready to burst through the speakers, "Stuck (Re-Duckz)" captures the suffocating feeling of being trapped inside your own mind while refusing to surrender to the chaos. It's raw, aggressive, and unapologetically honest everything punk rock was meant to be.

Blending the band's gritty DIY roots with infectious hooks and a ferocious sonic attack, PRISON CITY BRIGADE delivers a track that hits with equal force emotionally and musically. The song's intensity reflects the struggles many face daily, turning internal battles into a rallying cry for anyone feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or stuck in their own cycle of doubt and frustration.

"Stuck (Re-Duckz)" isn't just a song it's a release valve. A sonic punch to the chest. A reminder that even when life feels impossible to navigate, there's power in confronting the madness head on.

From the first note to the final crash, listeners are pulled into a whirlwind of chaotic energy, razor sharp punk attitude, and undeniable passion. It's the kind of track that demands to be played loud and experienced with

reckless abandon.

For fans of high energy punk rock, raw emotion, and music that refuses to pull its punches, PRISON CITY BRIGADE latest release is

required listening.

Chaotic insanity waits for the ears of those brave enough to hear it.

"Stuck (Re-Duckz)" is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Band Bio:

PRISON CITY BRIGADE is a hard-hitting punk rock band formed in 2013. Pulling inspiration from real life experience, the Brigade delivers raw and unfiltered music that speaks for the overlooked and the unbreakable while boasting a “something for everyone” flare.

Fueled by aggression, honesty, and street-level storytelling, PRISON CITY BRIGADE blends crushing riffs, relentless rhythms, and confrontational lyrics into a sound built for the pit and meant for the people. Their music isn’t polished; it’s earned. Every track carries the weight of real experience, loyalty,

and resistance.

More than a band, PRISON CITY BRIGADE is a statement: pride in where you’re from, defiance against being counted out, and unity through noise. This is Joliet’s punk rock voice; loud, unapologetic, and impossible to ignore.

apanese Horror Inspired USBM Duo SAIDAN Unleashes New Single, "Immersed by Eternity’s Blade"

Japanese horror-inspired USBM outfit SAIDAN will be releasing its highly anticipated fourth LP, 'FANGDRILLER: Scars Beneath Memory's Wrist,' on June 19 via Avantgarde Music! The band is now unveiling the cinematic new single, "Immersed by Eternity’s Blade" along with a music video, which can be found below.

A prequel to 2023's 'Visual Kill,' 'FANGDRILLER' follows The Student (Junko) as she tries to heal her fractured heart. Haunted by wistful solitude, her isolation makes her the perfect victim for a mysterious cult known as Ethereal Blood.

SAIDAN vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Splatterpvnk comments, “Many of the songs on this album offer glimpses into where I was emotionally over the past year. 'Immersed by Eternity’s Blade' is unique in that there’s no metaphor to masquerade my heart. I yearned for a future where the anguish of the present would fade into a distant memory, leaving only the moments of happiness behind.

"This song was, and continues to be, a source of healing for me. I hope that anyone carrying their own sorrow can find some measure of comfort in this song and in the album as a whole.”

While lyrically dealing with topics of depression, heartbreak, loss, and loneliness, the album is musically inspired by the lo-fi nature of classic Visual Kei and gothic black metal. Saidan strives to deliver an album that sounds nostalgic for an era of music that doesn’t exist. Blistering solos, deranged vocals, anthemic-riffage, and diabolical drumming are slammed together with doses of modern breakcore and wrapped in a black metal bow, garnering a feeling of familiarity while offering something that’s boldly unique.

Pre-orders can be found HERE.

Moreover, SAIDAN will be embarking on a U.S. tour in support of prolific atmospheric black metal band Trhä along with Barbelith. The trek will kick off on July 23 in Indianapolis, IN and will lay waste through the East Coast and parts of the midwest until the final stop on August 8 in Charlotte, NC. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.

In the neverending quest of supporting young and boundary-pushing bands from the underground around the world, Avantgarde Music is proud to announce their collaboration with Saidan, a Japanese horror-themed black metal band from Nashville, TN.

Spawning from tragedy in 2020, Saidan rapidly released a string of demos and splits that caused a stir in the underground Black Metal scene. With their anthem-like riffage, violent imagery, deranged vocal delivery, and heavy metal flair, Saidan has risen above their contemporaries and stood out in a bustling USBM scene. In five short years, Saidan has gone on to release three LPs: 'Jigoku: Spiraling Chasms of the Blackest Hell' (2021), 'Onryō II: Her Spirit Eternal' (2022), and 'Visual Kill: The Blossoming of Psychotic Depravity' (2024), all to critical success. The band's latest offering, 'FANGDRILLER: Scars Beneath Memory's Wrist,' will be arriving on June 19, 2026 exclusively through Avantgarde Music.

'Fangdriller' is the fourth studio album born from the minds of multi-instrumentalist Splatterpvnk and drummer Hundosai, a new chapter in the narrative concept that links together all Saidan releases. A prequel to 2023's 'Visual Kill,' 'FANGDRILLER' follows The Student (Junko) as she tries to heal her fractured heart. Haunted by wistful solitude, her isolation makes her the perfect victim for a mysterious cult known as Ethereal Blood.

While lyrically dealing with topics of depression, heartbreak, loss, and loneliness, the album is musically inspired by the lo-fi nature of classic Visual Kei and gothic black metal. Movements Share Visualizer for New Song "Everything Is Fine" — LISTEN + WATCH

Southern California's post-hardcore stalwarts MOVEMENTS will unleash their new album Happier Now on September 4 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here.

Today, they share the visualizer for new single "Everything Is Fine."

Watch and listen below.

Movements are known for discordant, angular post-hardcore but on the moody and mercurial "Everything Is Fine," the band shows off its ability craft the kind of beautiful melodies that linger for days and that directly request that you sing along. It's a cerebral and contemplative post-punk anthem. When singer Patrick Miranda sings, "Everything is fine," you are left to wonder: Is it, though? That's the beauty of Movements and their new album, Happier Now. It will make you think, all the while nodding your head along to the groove.

""Everything Is Fine' is one of those songs that took a while to get right," shares Miranda. "It went through multiple different versions before we landed on this one, and it ended up being one of my favorite choruses on the record. It's a song about anxiety, and I think fans of the earlier Movements subject matter will really enjoy this one."

Movements will embark on a U.S. headline tour in October, with support from Balance and Compsure, Midrift, and NIIS. All dates are below.

MOVEMENTS ON TOUR:

ABOUT MOVEMENTS:

Movements are proud to announce their fourth full-length album for Fearless Records, Happier Now, with GRAMMY-winner Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight, Circa Survive) once again serving as producer. The result is an album that's as expansive as it is emotional and takes Movements' signature sound to a heightened level that further establishes the band as scene statesmen.

"I think at first we weren’t really sure what the record was going to be," vocalist Patrick Miranda admits. "We all had a general idea: We wanted it to bring in the early elements of our sound and blend it with the newer material like [2023's] RUCKUS! and mesh both of those sounds." Two of the songs that came from that initial session were the album’s first two singles: The instantly infectious anthem "Dissolve Me" and moody meditation "Back In My Ways," which collectively acted as sonic north stars to guide the band through the recording process.

In many ways, Happier Now is a full circle moment for Movements, who are once again performing on the Warped Tour this summer and slowly becoming veterans of the community that inspired them growing up. The struggle never sounded so sweet.

Stoned Jesus Go Deeper and Darker on New Single “Under the Skin”

Stoned Jesus are true trailblazers. While often associated with the stoner crowd, the heavy progressive rockers have experimented with folk, prog, pop and alternative rock amidst familiar doses of doom. Last year, the band entered the first phase of an expansive album trilogy that promises to take them from the sun to the moon and back. Songs to Sun was named one of the best albums of 2025 by Doom Charts, Rock Hard, The Obelisk and other outlets. Now, as frontman Igor Sydorenko and his bandmates prepare to blaze through the European summer festival circuit, they’re cycling into the next phase of their evolution.

Today, Stoned Jesus are releasing a new single. Though packed with the band’s reliable dose of heaviness, the progressive post-metal contained within “Under the Skin” shows them entering the darkest, most daring and deeply moving territory of their 17-year career.

“Our upcoming album trilogy started last year with Songs to Sun, which is a loud and heavy album that’s big on choruses and meaty riffs”, Sydorenko says before turning to Stoned Jesus’ latest single. “‘Under the Skin’ begins our next phase in a somewhat similar fashion, but with a sinister twist. The fans of the very first SJ demo will recognize the influence of post-metal, which resurfaced after our tour last summer with the legendary Cult of Luna. But “Under the Skin” is not a step back. It’s darker, bolder and more introspective than anything the band has done before”.

Watch the music video for “Under the Skin” below.

Stream “Under the Skin”

https://orcd.co/stonedjesusundertheskin

On the surface, “Under the Skin” picks up right where Stoned Jesus left off. The sinking anxiety that swallowed Songs to Sun gives way here to heavy breathing. And while catchy as ever, the song’s weighty riff isn’t the only dark force that’s rattling inside Sydorenko’s head. “I feel it, it’s creeping in”, he strains, backed by bassist Andrew Rodin, who adds some of the harshest vocals the band have ever pressed to wax.

The video for “Under the Skin” was filmed while Stoned Jesus were recording in Cologne, Germany at Goblin Sound Studio with sound engineer Andy Rosczyk (ex-Ultha). Despite the song’s bleary state of mind (“Promises to keep / I will never sleep”), the band never lose their glow. As drummer Yurii Ciel guides them through a proggy middle passage that leads deeper into the shadows, we catch a glimpse not only into their psyche but the shape of what’s to come. “Sky glider, gone wilder / With the setting sun”.

The video for “Under the Skin” was edited by Marco Menestrina.

Songs to Sun arrived in 2025 as the first album in a forthcoming trilogy that once complete, will stand as the pinnacle of what's been a decades-long trip for Stoned Jesus. While picking up where Father Light left off, Sydorenko and his new mates nodded to Seven Thunders Roar and The Harvest along the way. But by merging metal's fiery intensity with mind-melting grooves, vintage prog and their catchiest choruses yet, they brought the many distinct phases of Stoned Jesus to a bright, burning head. The album was named one of the best the year by Doom Charts, Rock Hard, The Obelisk, Weedian, Metal Lair and other outlets.

In 2026, Stoned Jesus are moving into the darkest, most daring and deeply moving phase of their career, starting with the band’s latest single "Under the Skin”.

Now, as the band approaches its thirteenth studio album, a deeper and more arcane force begins to stir. The number thirteen bears ancient meaning: endings, thresholds, and the passage into the unknown. Rooted in primordial doctrine, the thirteenth seal is said to bind the final veil between worlds, the last barrier between order and chaos.

With this upcoming release, BELPHEGOR prepares to break that seal, not to follow, but to lead. To summon what lies beyond even their own previous creations: something more primal, more ritualistic, more devastating.

Early glimpses of new material point to a continuation of the dark artistic path begun with The Devils, now delving even deeper. The upcoming album takes shape as a focused ritual: precise, uncompromising, and rooted in the band’s unmistakable vision, the glorification of the Devil.

Prepare. The next chapter is imminent.

Defiled Premiere New Album 'Altered State'

Defiled aren’t relics or custodians for the old-school. While the Japanese legends have shared stages with Morbid Angel, Mayhem, Cannibal Corpse and Incantation since the early ‘90s, they’ve carved their own unmistakable path through death metal’s hallowed crypts. With their new album, founding member Yusuke Sumita and his band of technical masters continue to alter the genre in unthinkable ways. On Altered State, they deliver a dizzying blast of death metal straight from the future.

Altered State comes out tomorrow, Friday, June 12 on Season of Mist, but you can hear all 14 mind-altering songs today by listening to the full album stream below.

“Like many other bands, our musical roots are heavily influenced by early ‘90s death metal and ‘80s thrash and hardcore, however, our interpretation is different and has branched off from the current scene”, Sumita says. “On Altered State, there are many catchy hooks, but tricky progressive rhythms and song structures can be found as well. The album may not be understandable after a few listens, but it taps into a blind spot that many bands have missed. We invite anyone to join us in exploring the outermost edges of the genre”.

BraveWords Records Announces the Signing of AIRFORCE Release Single and Music Video for the Track “Strange World”

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of AIRFORCE and the release of the single “Strange World” a cover of the Iron Maiden track. Set in the Iron Maiden “Somewhere In Time” universe, the video brings to life the lyrics and themes in the song! Watch as one of the most iconic Maiden cover artworks comes to life!”

Fans can stream and download “Strange World” from Bandcamp at https://bravewordsrecords.bandcamp.com

The band shared their excitement about signing with BraveWords Records, "Airforce are delighted to be joining forces with the phenomenal BraveWords, a highly regarded global media outlet and record label. Airforce are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with BraveWords."

Continuing, the band, (whom features in it's ranks former Iron Maiden drummer Doug Sampson) talked about covering Iron Maiden’s track “Strange World”, “Covering Iron Maiden’s “Strange World” was actually Tony Hatton’s idea. The song has always been a favorite of Chop Pitman since the early days. Plus, our drummer, Doug Sampson, played on the original Iron Maiden version that was recorded during the Soundhouse Tapes sessions, so we thought, “Why not give it a go and see what happens?”

Lino did a great job with the vocals. We didn’t want to simply cover the song as it was originally recorded, so we adapted it to suit Airforce’s style and sound.

Chop Pitman ran the idea past Steve Harris and asked for his blessing.

Steve suggested that we invite Dave Sullivan, one of Iron Maiden’s earliest guitarists, to play on the track—which we did. As a result, we have two former Iron Maiden members performing on the recording.

Chop also came up with the idea of ending the song with the outro from another classic Iron Maiden track, “Remember Tomorrow,” which we felt fit perfectly. Steve and Dave both liked the idea as well.

“Strange World” was played at the funeral of our good friend, Paul Di’Anno, making this recording a tribute to him, too. Paul recorded with Airforce on a couple of occasions, and we miss him dearly.

We would like to thank Steve Harris and Dave Sullivan, as well as Jez Coad, who produced the track, and, of course, my nephew Lee Heffron for creating this amazing video.”

About AIRFORCE:

“A Band of Brothers” is not only a term that best describes this London-based heavy rock band, but it is also the title of one of their most memorable songs. The description is fitting because Airforce began their journey unpretentiously as a true band of brothers in music.

Cutting their teeth on the London club circuit, the band shared a passion for the rock lifestyle, the art of songwriting, and the thrill of performing live. This enthusiasm for their craft led them to experience the magic of the unexpected, taking them to stages across Europe and the United States.

Although the roots of the band date back to the late 1970s under the name EL-34, Airforce has existed under its current name since 1986. With two EPs, three studio albums, and one live album to their credit, the band’s name has become synonymous with the classic legacy of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) sound.

At the same time, Airforce became pioneers of a new wave of “blast-from-the-past” bands. Unexpectedly emerging as leaders of the genre, they outlasted many younger bands that failed to make a lasting impact.

Airforce evolved from being the exception... to becoming part of a worldwide movement that spread across numerous countries. Throughout it all, they have proudly carried the flag for British heavy rock.

In the last five years alone, despite the challenges of the lockdown era, Airforce have performed more than one hundred shows in over twenty countries, building an army of loyal fans around the world.

THE HOWLERS Wake Up from the American Dream on New Single “L.A. Morning”

Following the announcement of their forthcoming sophomore album ‘Heavy,’ London indie rockers THE HOWLERS return with their latest single, “L.A. Morning,” out now via FLG. The track offers another glimpse into the band’s most ambitious chapter yet, ahead of the album’s release on October 9th alongside the announcement of their summer shows alongside Deep Purple and Alice Cooper and their autumn album tour.

A sun-soaked reflection on the myths we grow up believing, “L.A. Morning” explores the idealized image of the American Dream through a distinctly British perspective. Built around themes of ambition, escapism, and disillusionment, the track captures the tension between youthful fantasy and reality, while retaining the sense of wonder that made those dreams so alluring in the first place.

The song arrived unexpectedly during the final stages of recording ‘Heavy.’ Initially never intended for the album, “L.A. Morning” was written and recorded in a matter of hours during the band's final studio session, with THE HOWLERS committing to their first instincts and capturing a spontaneity that would ultimately make it one of the record’s defining moments.

“As kids, we all grew up with the idea of the American Dream, a notion that has been dashed significantly in recent years by world events, but the romanticised idea of Hollywood is something that every child knows and grows up wanting,” says frontman Adam Young. “’L.A. Morning’ is sort of the realization of that. It was never meant to end up on the album, but it came together so naturally that we couldn’t ignore it. Those moments are rare, and they’re what making music is all about.”

Watch the Official Visualizer for "L.A. Morning"

Following a period of transition at the end of 2024, THE HOWLERS entered a new phase, with frontman Adam Young rebuilding the project as a two-piece alongside drummer Toby Richards — a shift that redefined both the band’s sound and creative direction, bringing a renewed sense of focus and identity.

That reset came off the back of a breakthrough year. Their self-funded debut album ‘What You’ve Got To Lose To Win It All’ landed to widespread European acclaim, breaking into the UK Independent Breakers Charts Top 10 while securing multiple positions across independent, vinyl and physical sales charts. Radio support followed from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X and Absolute Radio, alongside international backing and editorial playlisting across Apple Music and Spotify.

That momentum translated directly to the stage. A sold-out 18-date UK headline tour established the band as one of the country’s most exciting live acts, followed by a European run that saw them sell out shows across eight countries — road-testing new material that would ultimately shape what came next.

Where that debut was defined by grief and personal loss, ‘Heavy’ emerges from a very different place. Driven by the tension between desire and consequence, recklessness and reality, it’s an album lit by the pull of the night, the thrill of impulse and the cold clarity that follows.

Written and produced alongside long-time collaborator Chris Ostler (Black Honey), the record deliberately sidesteps traditional studio methods. Instead, it was built remotely — with demos, ideas and reworked compositions exchanged across digital platforms — stripping everything back while pushing each track to its strongest form. Only in the final stages did the band enter rehearsal spaces to capture live drums, grounding its more experimental edges with a raw, physical energy.

Young adds:

This album is those late night experiences, the after dark conversations, late night phone calls, the seductive nature of impulsiveness that seems so alluring and losing yourself in the addictive nature of recklessness — but it’s also the mirror in the morning, the wake up call, and the harsh reality of knowing those feelings won’t always last. It’s the moment you find yourself again.

Pre-Order 'Heavy' HERE

For a band that has always worn its honesty as a badge of honour — and built a fiercely loyal following on the back of it — ‘Heavy’ feels like the album THE HOWLERS were always moving towards. With an extensive UK and European headline tour to follow, 2026 is shaping up to be the year they fully arrive.

Metalcore Forces RISING INSANE + ACCVSED Release Video for Collaborative Single "Dark"

Building on the massive momentum of their million-streaming hit "Good Enough," RISING INSANE have joined forces with ACCVSED for their explosive new single "DARK." The track offers a standout testament to the band's relentless creative drive and serves as the latest taste of their upcoming album, DEATHRACE, arriving on August 21 via Long Branch Records.

Reflecting on the song's turbulent journey from the cutting room floor to center stage, RISING INSANE share, "'DARK' was actually on the chopping block for the album for a long time before it unexpectedly transformed into a single. When Sven played the instrumental for the first time, some incredible vocal ideas immediately clicked. But as it often goes, initial ideas don't always pan out the way you hope. As a result, the song ended up gathering dust for a while. Yet, that initial spark from the instrumental version never truly faded, which pushed us to give it a second shot — and that definitive rewrite finally brought 'DARK' to life. Being able to bring ACCVSED on board for a feature was an absolute blessing, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out."

Watch the video for "DARK" (Feat. ACCVSED)  below.

Pre-order the new album + stream the single here.

Since their debut, Rising Insane have evolved from a fierce independent quintet into a global heavy-hitter, amassing millions of streams across their previous catalog. Their journey to the top has been defined by elite company, having shared stages with genre icons like Papa Roach, Of Mice & Men, and Stray From the Path, transforming them into an unstoppable live force.

This momentum is now reaching a fever pitch with their upcoming album, DEATHRACE. The record includes the standout track "Good Enough" (Feat. CASKETS), alongside the dark and mature "Error" (Feat. Steven Jones of Bleed From Within). Fans can also look forward to explosive new collaborations on the album David Schneider (The Butcher Sisters), as well.

DEATHRACE marks the band's most radical chapter yet, stripping away polished refinement in favor of raw power and primal riffs. It is a limit-breaking statement that finally pushes their sound to the absolute limit — Rising Insane have never stood still, but now they are finally flooring it.

RISING INSANE ARE:
Aaron Steineker — Vocals
Sven Polizuk — Guitar
Ulf Hedenkamp — Bass
Florian Köchy — Guitar
Robert Kühling — Drums

HEY NOW Records Adds Three Key Business + Consumer-Facing Execs: Danny Bess, Rachel Brown & Troy Scott

With HEY NOW Records delivering unprecedented response to their first single, President and Co-Founder Kris Lamb announces key business and commerce hires for the streamlined independent label designed to super-serve singularly talented artists in ways that match their individual needs.

“As the label expands its reach, it’s critical to have systems in place to support the work being done by the various teams,” Lamb says. “To be able to engage executive talent that includes Danny Bess and Rachel Brown on the business side, and Troy Scott for commerce and consumer products, we’re going to be able to move twice as fast, knowing our needs will be supported by a strong foundation.”

Senior Vice President Danny Bess returns to a label from his independent DFB Consulting, where he provided tactical insight for several corporations. A veteran of major labels, he spent seven years as Chief Financial Officer at Warner Music Nashville and 25 years as the Vice President of Finance at Universal Music Group Nashville. A Vanderbilt graduate with an MBA from Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, he began his career at RCA Records/BMG.

Manager of Operations Rachel Brown has an extensive background in project management, marketing and merchandising, having spent several years at Aroluxe Marketing where her strength was integrating cross-functional campaigns for a variety of clients. With a Pepperdine MBA, her skills were honed in the fashion space, supporting product strategy and merchandising initiatives for Kendra Scott jewelry. Her expertise in business strategy and brand growth will be deployed to dial in the label’s growth.

“Danny and Rachel both understand the practical business piece of how we get our artists from music created to music consumed,” Lamb explains. “Bess’s knowledge base reflects earned experience, as well as creating a business strategy that gives our staff real support when they are making it happen. Rachel bridges the creativity-execution sectors with not just passion, but an analytic sense that allows us to be tactical and effective.”

Vice President of Commerce & Consumer Products Troy Scott has a quarter century of experience across labels, radio and social media platforms. Starting across the Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Boston markets managing operations and marketing campaigns for BMG artists including P!nk, Dave Matthews Band, Backstreet Boys, TLC, *NSYNC, Outkast, Martina McBride and Maroon 5, he moved to Universal Music Group in New York as Sales Account Director, securing major brand campaigns for Mary J. Blige, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo and Trisha Yearwood. Moving into media, Scott took the role of Sales Manager at Alpha Media in Richmond, Va., overseeing 300+ local and national accounts across a three-station cluster. He then returned to the label side, joining Universal Music Group Nashville in 2014 as Director of Commercial Development, ultimately rising to Senior Director of E-Commerce & Retail. His direct-to-consumer strategies and campaigns for Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt, Reba, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town achieved significantly impactful growth in consumer engagement.

“Troy approaches each artist and situation to understand how the pieces connect,” Lamb says. “Over the years, his style’s never been ‘This is how we do it,’ but ‘What is the best way to expose this music and get people to engage?’ Given what we’re hoping to do, the diversity of acts he’s worked with and venues he’s worked in makes him someone who can meet HEY NOW’s roster where they are and super-deliver.”

After locking out the entire reporting country radio panel with Kenny Chesney’s “Carry On” in its first week, only the third time in chart history and first time an independent label has managed the feat, HEY NOW Records is building a future based on artist-first delivery from the moment the music is delivered until long after a project has run its cycle. Focused on what makes music matter to people, the business and consumer-facing functions are as integral to what’s being built as the promo team that continues to create momentum in the traditional means of exposure.

“To me, this isn’t just about how it’s been done,” Lamb offers. “It’s also about how else can we do this? If you can create a structure where trusting the process includes honoring all the ways people find, consume and commit songs to their lives and feed that passion, it doesn’t matter how we shape the process – only finding a path that takes us to where the people who need this music can be found.”

BBR MUSIC GROUP/BMG NASHVILLE SIGNS GRAMMY, CMA AND ACM AWARD-WINNING CARLY PEARCE

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville is thrilled to announce the signing of GRAMMY, CMA and ACM award-winner Carly Pearce. With Stoney Creek Records serving as the radio imprint, Pearce has a new album coming soon and is currently at country radio with the smoldering single “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay” with Riley Green. The Grand Ole Opry member has been a celebrated BMG Publishing writer since 2015 and built an incredible career spanning the aforementioned awards, multiple #1 hits and over four billion streams to date.

A fan-first artist at her core, last week Pearce impacted with country audiences throughout CMA Fest as an Artist of the Day where she anchored a panel on the CMA Close Up Stage, met with fans at Carly’s Closet (her fifth annual benefit for the CMA Foundation) and performed at Nissan Stadium, Billboard Live at Category 10, SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour and Spotify House. In addition, she mentored teens at GRAMMY Camp in Nashville sharing advice and answering questions for the burgeoning next generation of artists and music business talent.

“Signing with BMG feels less like turning a new page and more like finding the best next chapter. I am incredibly grateful to be surrounded by a team that truly hears my voice and matches my ambition. The horizon looks exactly how it’s supposed to,” says Pearce.

“Carly is one of the most authentic and compelling voices in our format, and we’re beyond excited to welcome her to the recorded side of our family, having been cheering her on from our publishing side for years. Her artistry, vision and connection with fans is unparalleled, and we can’t wait to support this next creative chapter,” says JoJamie Hahr, EVP, Recorded Music, BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.

“When I approached Jon and JoJamie about this opportunity, their excitement and passion for Carly was immediate and unmistakable and they wasted no time in making her feel right at home. For me, to be back in business with Jon and JoJamie is a genuine homecoming. They were both instrumental in the launch and early success of Big Machine’s Valory Music Company and I’ve watched them turn BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville into a powerhouse. We couldn’t be more confident in what’s ahead for Carly,” says Scott Borchetta, Founder and Chairman, Borchetta Entertainment Group.

Ho99o9 Unleash Blistering New Anthem "Power in Numbers"

Ho99o9 return with “Power In Numbers,” a blistering new anthem that captures the band at their most direct, urgent, and confrontational. Fusing industrial hip-hop with hardcore punk intensity, the single delivers a powerful message rooted in unity, resistance, and collective strength, reinforcing the duo’s reputation as one of the most uncompromising voices in alternative music.

“Power In Numbers” is a cultural statement that channels the chaos of the current moment and emphasizes the strength of solidarity and shared resistance. The track draws from the lineage of protest music, balancing chaos and control to reinforce its central message of collective power.

Known for pushing boundaries across genre and culture, Ho99o9 continue to blur the lines between punk, rap, industrial, and hardcore, creating music that is as politically charged as it is sonically destructive. “Power In Numbers” further expands the group’s fearless approach, designed to provoke, energize, and unite.

Recently, the band performed a free show for fans in Los Angeles at Pacific Electric, in conjunction with clothing and graphic apparel tastemakers, Civil Regime. The show served as a send-off for Ho99o9, who kick off their summer European and UK dates today (full dates below).

Tomorrow We Escape, Ho99o9’s third album, was released recently via 999 Deathkult / Last Gang. A true amalgamation of all the band’s influences, including experimental hip-hop, digital hardcore, future-facing punk, metal, jarring industrial, and off-kilter electronics, the album is their most emotional offering to date, rooted in personal struggle and triumph. It exemplifies the outfit’s collaborative spirit, featuring Nova Twins, Chelsea Wolfe, Greg Puciato, MoRuf, Pink Siifu, and more. Trayer Tryon of avant darlings Hundred Waters (and with prod on recent breakthroughs - The Hellp, Sam Austins, 2Hollis, Alto Arc……) mixes and masters the album, further refining a new sonic landscape, harnessing the very best of the chaos that fans have come to know and love, with a fresh injection of newfound melodies, space, and crystalline production.

The New Jersey-bred outfit made its way to Los Angeles over a decade ago. Surging and seething just below the surface, the pair broke through as an apocalyptically fascinating outlier with their 2017 full-length debut, United States of Horror. In the meantime, their infamous live shows became the stuff of legend as they packed houses on their own and shared stages with everyone from Slipknot, Korn, Alice in Chains, Rob Zombie, Ministry, and The Dillinger Escape Plan to Lil Uzi Vert, Denzel Curry, Cypress Hill, and Ghostface Killah. Earning the respect of an elite cohort of peers, popular collaborations placed them toe-to-toe with Corey Taylor of Slipknot, The Prodigy, JPEGMAFIA, Ghostemane, HEALTH, 3TEETH, and N8NOFACE, among others. Jack Black made an appearance in their KULT CABLE series while they guested on The Eric Andre Show. They’ve received further acclaim from The New York Times, NME, The Guardian, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, The FADER, Revolver, and more. They stand out as the rare phenomenon that can decimate Hellfest and Aftershock Festival and captivate on A COLORS SHOW.

“Power In Numbers” is available now on all streaming platforms. Stream / Get it HERE.

PLAIINS Share New Single "Look Ma, I'm a Don" — LISTEN

British x German alt punks PLAIINS are back with a venomous and vibrantly catchy new anthem that targets the hollow bravado of modern pick-up culture. Building on the massive momentum of over 3 million streams and rave reviews from Visions and Kerrang! describing them as "cartoonishly gobby," the band's latest single, "Look Ma, I'm a Don"  is a masterclass in satirical songwriting.

The song combines a catchy Brit pop-leaning chorus with the raw, unedited feel of The Libertines through its dual-guitar interplay, anchored by a melodic bass line that Paul McCartney would be proud of. One of the track's most brilliant moments is a cheeky Beyoncé reference: "Say my name, say my name," which perfectly highlights the irony of a character who demands to be known while treating others like disposable products.

Stream "Look Ma, I'm a Don" Below:

Coming off the back of their highly praised debut album Happy Faces (2025) and a collabo with Italian producer Mazare on the song "DIGAF," PLAIINS present their latest song just in time for the upcoming festival summer with several shows all over Europe, before heading to the UK in autumn and a Germany tour in winter with Smile and Burn and The Pill in all major cities.

PLAIINS comment on the new single, "'Look Ma, I'm a Don' is a song poking fun at pick-up culture and the consumerist mindset driving it. The character sees himself as some kind of big-shot 'Don.' while in reality he’s just a hurt little boy trying to fill a void and earn recognition from his mum. It's a critique of treating relationships like a numbers game — keeping the body count high and consuming people like products."
