The Hu Unleash Not One, But Two Songs With "The Men" + "Warrior Chant"

It's a double dose of brand new music from Hunnu Rock pioneers The Hu.

The Gold-certified global phenomenon deliver "The Men" which is accompanied by an official music video, alongside "Warrior Chant," both out now via Better Noise Music. Listen to "The Men" here.

Watch the video Below.

Listen to "Warrior Chant" here.

Traditional Mongolian strings herald the arrival of "The Men." This organic swell gives way to a gritty and gruff groove-laden riff topped off with hypnotic vocals. The band’s signature hybrid of indigenous instrumentation, heavy-as-a-2x4 guitars, and transfixing tribal chanting makes for another essential anthem from The Hu. It’s tailor-made for an epic battle scene, climax of your favorite video game, or workout session. At the same time, it's evocative of the musicians' own tradition and heritage.

About "The Men," Galaa commented, "'The Men' is written based on Mongolian philosophy of 'Man’s Inner Spirit' or 'Хийморь' and the importance of inner strength and kindness of a man to the world. Energy of men should always be reinforced with positiveness, strength and generosity, so this song try to encapsulate that ancient wisdom and share to the rest of humanity. Lyrics are chants that guides young and old men alike to be headstrong and to have dream that cultivate goodness. We only wanted to focus on the positives that can make a man ponder about who he is in this world and wonder about how he can have positive inner spirit when listening to it. Hope our fans will be able to capture every fiber of Mongolian Man’s way of living through this song."

Then, there's "Warrior Chant." It lives up to its title with a hard-charging chorus and a tight and taut metallic soundscape. Between the horse head fiddle and instantly recognizable delivery, it immediately amplifies everything that fans have fallen in love with about the band in the first place.

Regarding "Warrior Chant," Galaa added, "'Warrior Chant' has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with and everyone who will listen and know us will say that it is 'our song.' Our third album has bit of everything, rhythm-wise, and we see that as a progress of expanding the Hunnu Rock genre... Enkush and I focused on horse head fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait and you will hear the rhythm throughout the song."

Get ready for more music from The Hu soon.

The Hu will team up with Cello Metal standouts Apocalyptica for a run of shows this May and June. The tour kicks off on May 12 in Silver Spring, MD and will take them across the country before wrapping in Anaheim, CA on June 7. Joining The Hu and Apocalyptica will be platinum-selling Finnish rock band The Rasmus.

Tickets and additional information on VIP packages available HERE

In addition to closing all shows on this tour, The Hu are celebrating the recent release of their latest single "The Real You," which is "the representation of our new album, The Hun," says Temka – Temuulen N (band's tovshuur player, throat singer).  "The Real You" is one of the few songs from The Hu in which Western music components are prominent.

And in other The Hu news, the band recently appeared on the song "Pray to the Sun," featuring Declan de Barra, from the Netflix Japanese manga series One Piece. It's another instance of the band and its music connecting with passionate fandoms, as their song "Sugaan Essena" was also prominently featured in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game.

Olive Vox Confront Time And Fragility on New Single “14 Years”

Texas-based alternative rock four-piece, Olive Vox return with “14 Years,” a stark and emotionally loaded new single that lands as their fourth release since signing to Big Machine Rock. Arriving in the wake of previous singles -  “BABYDOLL, “T.A.N.G.O”, and “Dying Breath, the track follows a breakout year that has seen the band sharpen their identity in real time, both on record and on the road, most recently supporting Badflower across the US. Fans can stream “14 Years” now, Below.

There’s a physicality to “14 Years”. Pins and needles, loss of control, the body turning unfamiliar. Parker James’ vocal sits right at the center of that tension, carrying the weight of a narrative that feels both deeply personal yet uncomfortably universal. Providing further context on the song, the band share the following

This song is a reflection of the ultimate betrayal of the “provider” archetype: the moment a person successfully completes the strenuous journey of securing their family’s future, only to have their own body become the very thing that destabilizes it. It explores the agonizing transition from being the “stranger” planting seeds for a legacy to becoming a “patient” who is forced to watch their own fading presence become a burden. This isn’t about lack of success, but about the cruelty of time; it’s the realization that while you finally reached the destination, you’ve been robbed of the right to inhabit it, leaving you to grapple with the hollowed remains of a dream that your family will now have to navigate without you.”

Olive Vox channel sonic electricity from the natural chemistry between them. Like four livewires sparking on contact, the Texas-based quartet, Parker James on vocals, Caden Shea on guitar, Dayton Phillips on drums, and Ben Reid on bass, have built a reputation on sweat-soaked shows, phenomenal live energy that could power their home state of Texas, restless experimentation, and a rapidly growing fanbase. Born in Orange County and later rooted in Texas, brothers Parker and Cadenstarted early, developing their sound long before the band formally took shape. Ben joined after seeing their first live set in 2021, with Dayton completing the lineup in 2023.

Pulling from a wide spectrum that runs from Nine Inch Nails and The Smashing Pumpkins through to Turnstile, DIIV, Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C., and Cage The Elephant, Olive Vox have carved out a sound that feels chaotic yet controlled, immediate yet layered. Early releases like “Wash You Away” and “All My Friends Are Dead” set the foundation, while their 2024 cover of “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked” pulled in over half a million streams and found traction on TikTok. Their recent run of singles has seen their monthly listeners on Spotify hit 85,000. On stage, they’ve shared bills with Ty Segall, Puddle of Mudd, VIOLENT VIRA and Badflower alongside appearances at Summerfest and Levitation Festival.

14 Years” continues Olive Vox’s steady climb, capturing a band gaining new fans and momentum with each release as they build toward their 2026 debut EP on Big Machine Rock.

ICE NINE KILLS PRESENTS “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)”

Their sons may have eclipsed them in the 21st Century, but for a sleazy moment, Grave Diggler left its stain on hard partying rock n’ roll with decadence, desecrations, and panty raids. The group once stood shoulder to shoulder with their eyeliner-and-excess peers in Poison, Mötley Crüe, and W.A.S.P., before bad business and even worse drugs dampened the fire in their loins. By the early ’90s, like many glam bands, Grave Diggler faded from the spotlight.

But history has a strange way of digglering up the past.

When the directing duo behind Scream (2022) and Scream VI, began work on the sequel to their 2019 black comedy horror hit Ready or Not, they desperately wanted to include one of Grave Diggler’s forgotten classic anthems. But even after Radio Silence Productions deduced the connection with Spencer Charnas, securing the rights was no mean feat.

The ensuing legal battle between fathers and sons resulted in Ice Nine Kills re-recording “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)” for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come and the long-banned 1987 music video for the song seeing the light of day.

“I’ve been estranged from my father for a long time,” Spencer explains. “But this movie, and this song, while bringing a lot of complicated feelings to the surface, also brought us back together.”

Ice Nine Kills Presents Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt 2)” .

Watch and listen Below

Broken Lizard’s Paul Soter (Super Troopers), a lifelong Diggler obsessive, teamed up with director Myles Erfurth (Pandemic Sex Party) and Spencer to detail the band’s tale in a forthcoming documentary.

Laid to Rest: The Grave Diggler Story features all-new interviews with Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’s Samara Weaving (The Babysitter), Kathryn Newton (Freaky), Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), and directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett; Stephen Pearcy (Ratt); Matt Pinfield (MTV); Michael Starr (Steel Panther); Jose Mangin (SiriusXM); James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca (Dead Meat); Andy Gould (former Rob Zombie and Guns N’ Roses manager); and both Sonny and Spencer Charnas.

In recent years, Ice Nine Kills toured the world with Metallica;A Grave Mistake” went gold; “A Work of Art” was in Terrifier 3, the highest-grossing unrated film ever; and “Twisting the Knife” ft. Mckenna Grace, from Scream 7 (which topped the box office upon release and set a franchise best record for Scream) shot to No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts.

But even as Ice Nine Kills Presents “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)” blazes into Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (playing both in an early scene and again over the closing credits), Sonny Charnas remains characteristically unimpressed. “You call my son shrieking into a microphone like a meshuggah mental patient ‘singing’? That’s not heavy metal. I’m heavy metal."

Poison the Well Drop Video for "Weeping Tones" — WATCH // "Peace in Place" Out Now

POISON THE WELL are thrilled to release PEACE IN PLACE, their first album in 16 years, via SharpTone Records. Listen and get it here

They share the video for "Weeping Tones." Watch it here.

"There's a quiet loss of control that comes from feeling like you can't fully be yourself anymore,” offers singer Jeffrey Moreira. “When you have to shrink who you are just to avoid judgment or conflict, it starts to feel like something is being taken from you. That's what 'Weeping Tones' is about.”

He continues, "This video reflects that struggle, but it also holds onto something stronger — the one thing no one can take from you: Your ability to give your love and energy to the people who matter most. No matter how heavy the world gets, no matter how much it tries to pull you apart, you can always choose to keep walking until you reach what matters most — hold it close, and never let go."

ABOUT POISON THE WELL:
In the space of barely a breath, Poison The Well pacify fits of jarring brutality with moments of fragile beauty. Their unmistakable melodic hardcore gently dilutes the effects of trauma, betrayal, depression, and loss with hard-won wisdom and diligently earned self-acceptance. For as much force as they commit to the riffs and the breakdowns, there’s an equal amount of naked emotion encoded in their relatable hooks. At this point, they are unassumingly, yet undeniably embedded in the DNA of modern metal and hardcore. Poison The Well’s 1999 debut, The Opposite of December… A Season of Separation has claimed spots on BrooklynVegan's 15 '90s Metalcore Albums That Still Resonate Today; KERRANG!'s 21 Best U.S. Metalcore Albums of All Time; Loudwire's 25 Best Metalcore Albums of All Time; and Revolver's 10 Most Influential Metalcore Albums of All Time. Stereogumput it best, "The Opposite of December… A Season of Separation influenced a whole generation of metalcore bands." Meanwhile, 2003's You Come Before You remains regarded among Metal Hammer's 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the 21st Century and Rock Sound's 250 Greatest Albums of Our Lifetime. Despite going on hiatus following 2009's The Tropic Rot, the group's influence has only expanded over the years (as evidenced by over 100 million streams across their catalog). After touring in 2015 and 2021, they've commemorated milestone birthdays of both You Come Before You and The Opposite of December... with in-demand headline jaunts. Once again, the members felt an intense need to create as a unit. Rallying together, the guys channeled the spirit of their most celebrated material through a prism of new experience on their sixth full-length offering, Peace In Place.

ANNIHILUS MUNDI Returns with “Absolute Terror,” First New Single and Music Video in Seven Years

After nearly seven years of meticulous writing and development, progressive extreme metal project ANNIHILUS MUNDI returns with its newest single and music video, “Absolute Terror.” The track marks a powerful rebirth for the band, delivering its most uncompromising and emotionally charged material to date.

Blending chaotic death metal riffing with an expansive melodic atmosphere, “Absolute Terror” captures the core sonic identity of ANNIHILUS MUNDI while pushing deeper into the band’s progressive roots. The song balances structural familiarity with tonal experimentation, presenting a dynamic yet accessible composition that reflects the project’s ongoing commitment to musical evolution.

Musically, “Absolute Terror” draws textural inspiration from influential acts such as CYNIC and later-era DEATH, while fusing progressive elements reminiscent of DREAM THEATER and early OPETH. Pedal point riffing inspired by bands like AVENGED SEVENFOLD intertwines with atmospheric layers influenced by blackgaze artists including DEAFHEAVEN and SADNESS, creating a soundscape that is both aggressive and emotionally immersive.

The track features an intense vocal performance from Noah Magnelli, delivering the song’s conceptual narrative with visceral energy. A standout moment arrives with a blistering guest guitar solo from Chris Jones of ÆTHER REALM, demonstrating that the guitar solo remains a powerful and expressive force in modern metal.

Lyrically, “Absolute Terror” draws inspiration from the metaphysical Absolute Terror Field (AT Field) concept from Hideaki Anno’s landmark anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. In the series, the AT Field appears as a protective barrier used by the EVA units against the Angels, but it also represents a deeper philosophical idea: the emotional walls humans construct out of fear that prevent genuine connection with one another.

The song explores the psychological struggles of two of the anime’s central characters, Shinji Ikari and Asuka Langley-Soryu. The first verse reflects Shinji’s desperate longing for approval from his emotionally distant father, while the second delves into Asuka’s trauma after witnessing her mother’s suicide. Through the chorus and final verses, the song expands on the philosophical meaning of the AT Field, portraying fear itself as the invisible barrier separating individuals from meaningful human connection.

“Absolute Terror” represents the beginning of a new era for ANNIHILUS MUNDI, with Saillant serving as guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and primary songwriter while guiding the project toward deeper emotional intensity, melodic aggression, and progressive ambition.

With its fusion of technical precision, melodic depth, and conceptual storytelling, “Absolute Terror” signals a bold resurgence for ANNIHILUS MUNDI and sets the stage for what comes next.

Slow Degrade Share New Single "Lead Me Down" — LISTEN // Headline Tour Begins This May

After gaining buzz as a viral artist-to-watch, rising Mobile, Alabam heavy shoegaze band Slow Degrade share a brand new single entitled "Lead Me Down" out now.

Listen/Watch below.

"I wrote 'Lead Me Down' about my brother's past relationship and watching him change who he is to fit the mold of someone he thought cared for him," Shane Prickett says. "The relationship impacted my brother, and seeing him go through that really affected me.  My brother, being somebody that was always so uplifting and happy, the change in character was really apparent and it hurt me to see him go through that."

To bring the track to life, Slow Degrade worked with producer Kevin DeLeon, mixer Austin Coupe [Moodring, The Devil Wears Prada, Thousand Below], and mastering engineer Chris Gehringer [Turnstile, Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots].

The song entangles spacey synths within a web of fuzzed-out distortion. Thick riffs abound, while ethereal vocals practically hover above the verses. It climaxes on a plea during the chorus "Just lead me down." The outro bridge explodes in a catharsis of screams and thudding percussion.

Confronting the complexity of a one-sided relationship, "Lead Me Down" illuminates the group's entrancing dynamics, unfiltered emotionality, and impeccable songcraft.

Next up, Slow Degrade will launch a North American headline tour this May alongside Commoner. It kicks off on May 8 at Hole In The Wall in Austin, TX, visits major markets across the Southwest and West Coast, and concludes on May 15 at Taverna in Las Vegas, NV. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below.

Get tickets here.

Following a quiet grind in Alabama scene, Slow Degrade caught fire with "Who Will Fix Me Now?" The latter surged on TikTok and reeled in over 3.46 million streams thus far as the band continues to average 216K monthly listeners on Spotify. In its wake, they ignited Who Will Fix Me Now? EP, supported Holywater on the road, and embarked on completely sold-out East Coast headline jaunt accompanied by The Missing Peace and Cheam.

"Who Will Fix Me Now?" placed Slow Degrade on the verge of a breakthrough, by going viral. Now, they represent a new vanguard of heavy shoegaze acts to rise from Alabama's fertile underground scene.

They are the face of the new alt underground in 2026.

TOUR DATES:
5/8 — Austin, TX — Hole In The Wall
5/9 — McAllen, TX — The Gremlin
5/10 — Dallas, TX — TX Tea Room
5/12 — Phoenix, AZ — Linger

Hardline Announce New Album "Shout" + Share "Rise Up" Video

The melodic hard rock band HARDLINE have released with "When You Came Into My Life," a new digital single and lyric video. The song is taken from the upcoming studio album Shout.

In addition to the nine songs which were composed for Shout by singer Johnny Gioeli, keyboard player Alessandro Del Vecchio, and guitarist Luca Princiotta, the cover version of the SCORPIONS classic "When You Came Into My Life" is definitely one of the biggest surprises on the new studio album.

Gioeli says, "A friend from Norway played me the song, I'd never heard it before. But it's a real smash hit, which we've recorded in typical Hardline style out of respect for the Scorpions."

The lyric video for the song is a tribute to the loss of personal animals and to neglected and abused dogs, as well as the loss of a loved one.
"Alessandro and I are great dog lovers," says Gioeli. "For a number of years now, I've flown dogs from animal shelters as a pilot, saving them from being put down because nobody wants them. On tour, we will hand out glow sticks for a small donation, which people can hold up while we play the song and think of someone they have lost and who was particularly important to them."

Watch the video Below:

Shout will be released on April 17 through Steamhammer worldwide in the following configurations:

CD DigiPak
LP, 140 g, black vinyl, padded inner sleeve, coloured insert
Exclusive CD/LP Bundles with a shirt only at the Steamhammer shop

It's HTD's first album since 2015. Pre-order it here

They drop the video for "Oblivion." Watch it below.

"'Oblivion' is a cinematic, apocalyptic metalcore track that leans into scale and emotion," the band shares. "The song balances heaviness with atmosphere, creating a sense of finality and awe. Lyrically, 'Oblivion' tells an apocalyptic love story — grappling with loss, reconnection, and what it means to step into the void at the end of all things."

Haste The Day conjure the sound of coming full circle. The Indiana-bred band rekindles the spark at the heart of their signature style by sharpening the edges, tightening the melodies, and amplifying the scope with cinematic ambition. Haste The Day have clung to their integrity since initially emerging at the turn of the century. Following Burning Bridges [2004] and When Everything Falls [2005], Stephen made his formal debut as the group's frontman on Pressure The Hinges [2007]. The band unleashed a trio of fan favorite offerings, namely Dreamer [2008], the seminal Attack Of The Wolf King [2010], and Coward [2015]. The latter marked their second straight Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and second Top 10 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart. Along the way, they toured with everyone from Hollywood Undead to Norma Jean. Despite going dormant in 2016, they amassed tens of millions of streams and continued to resonate with an ever-expanding audience. As such, their 2023 reunion gig at the sold-out Furnace Fest was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Returning with their first full-length release in eleven years, the musicians tap into who they were and push forward together on their seventh LP, Dissenter [Solid State].

Kenny Chesney Makes Wm Morrow's Books of the Century List

Songwriter first, high impact performer second, Kenny Chesney may have to move “author” higher on the list of how he defines himself. After Heart Life Music debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction and Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction lists – where it remained for almost two months – it was clear the East Tennessee superstar’s “love letter to the journey” resonated with readers, music fans and people who have dreams of their own

With Barnes & Noble naming Heart Life Music to their Best Biographies & Memoirs of 2025 list, Wall Street Journal called it “an emphatic success,” and Salvation South raved, “it comes from the joy of living Kenny Chesney embodies, his bone-deep conviction that it ain’t no sin to be glad you’re alive.” As Newsweek declared it “grounded, grateful and faithful, in pursuit of the simple joys in life, living largely by the mantra of his memoir, Heart Life Music,” Garden & Gun proffered “at the heart, the book is a meditation on the power of music and creativity” before naming it one of their Best Books of 2025.

And now William Morrow, celebrating 100 years of publishing, has added Chesney’s heartfelt recounting of a kid raised well beyond the city lights, besotted by sports and on fire with country, bluegrass and rock music, who realized an impossible dream. Noting the vast expanse of their history, William Morrow selected 100 books published since 1926 to recognize the depth and quality of their imprint.

“All I did was try to honor the people, places and moments that helped me build something I could’ve never dreamed,” Chesney says of the honor. “Whether it was Jack Tottle taking a kid who just wanted to learn Doc Watson-style playing to Russia as part of the ETSU Bluegrass Band, Alabama blowing my mind landing in a helicopter to play near my house who took me out on tour with them when I was starting out or Troy Tomlinson, who heard something in my early songs, especially ‘The Tin Man’ and gave me my first publishing deal, they were all isolated things that brought me to where I am.

“I had no idea so many people would see their own journey in mine, live some moments that are hard to believe happen. Kind of like being in this list alongside so many incredible books. This was definitely something I would’ve never guessed or imagined, but am so honored for all the people in the book who made this story something worth reading.”

Posting “To mark the anniversary, William Morrow presents a curated list of 100 books drawn from its catalog that reflect the imprint’s editorial range and contribution to American publishing,” the storied publisher recognized books by John Irving, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Ray Bradbury, Margaret Mead, Elmore Leonard, Bill Bryson, Agatha Christie, Jodi Picoult, J.R.R. Tolkien, David Halberstam, and Alice Waters, as well as Marley & Me, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and Freakonomics.

With Publishers Weekly proclaiming it “one for the road” and American Songwriter citing its “sense of immense respect, admiration and awe,” Heart Life Music continues finding readers beyond the obvious country music fans. While finishing mixes for what will be his 20th studio recording and dialing in production details for his second Sphere residency later this spring/summer, Chesney took time to travel to Louisiana for the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University.

Billed as “Mardi Gras for the Mind,” Chesney closed the storied college’s fieldhouse stage, following friend Anderson Cooper and Dax Shepard in conversation. As he says, “When you find yourself talking to the man who invented the worldwide web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, General David Petraeus, historian Walter Isaacson or Ken Burns, you realize how many worlds books can bring together. It’s fantastic to see people who are so curious about the world, and I loved being part of it.”

Having gone from East Tennessee State University to Boston, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York City, Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles, Key West and Tampa, Chesney has taken Heart Life Music to the people. On the verge of getting back to playing music for No Shoes Nation, this honor and appearance was one more moment to celebrate a “map to making dreams come true.”

Leah Blevins is 'All Dressed Up' with Sophomore Album Out Now

All Dressed Up, the Dan Auerbach-produced Easy Eye Sound debut from Kentucky-born singer-songwriter Leah Blevins, is out now. With People Magazine calling it “a true sonic cornucopia that feels like a familiar friend’s comforting hug,” the sophomore album marks a defining moment for an artist whose music is rooted in truth, resilience and unwavering faith. Called “ear-opening” by Music Row, and “an introspective album rich in feeling” by No Depression, listen to All Dressed Up HERE

Earlier this week, the woman Nashville Lifestyles calls a “vocal stunner,” made her national television debut on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” delivering a stunning performance of album standout “Lonely,” a Wurlitzer-soaked, Patsy Cline-esque ballad that captures the emotional depth and timeless sensibility woven throughout the record. Watch Below.

Raised in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Blevins’ journey to this moment has been shaped by hardship, hope and an unshakable spiritual foundation. The daughter of a dentist who became a career politician, and a teenage gospel quartet pianist who fell into deep addiction, she knows the reality of oatmeal baths in red water, no heat in the winter and finding out the teacher giving your family refuge was also your mother’s supplier before she got sober over 20 years ago.

Living with her siblings, she started singing background vocals in their band; Patty Loveless, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert and The Judds informed their sound. By the time Blevins was studying Communications at Morehead State, Elliot Collett & the Articles swept her away to Nashville in 2011. Though the band didn’t last long, the ethics she learned from touring by the age of 20 gave her a compass, and in 2014 she made a choice after a lifetime of singing background vocals to pursue a career as a solo artist.

“The way you speak to yourself is more powerful than any outside voice,” shares Blevins. “I think I’m innocent to the world, but I harbor all these experiences I’ve had. I spent so much of my life in a small town, trying to prove I’m something I’m not… I had an amazing English teacher who allowed us all to be bigger than Sandy Hook, studying Sylvia Plath and C.S. Lewis, just creating a world so far beyond what we knew.”

That perspective fuels All Dressed Up, a collection of songs that confront life’s hardest truths without judgment while exploring faith, love, addiction, self-worth and healing with compassion and clarity. Produced by GRAMMY-winner Dan Auerbach, the album blends torch-pop country with soulful Americana, offering both vulnerability and strength.

From the steel-laced spiritual seeking of “Hey God,” to the cautionary shimmer of “Be Careful Throwing Stones,” to the smoky ache of the title track, Blevins moves effortlessly through emotional terrain, pairing unfiltered storytelling with melodies that linger long after the final note.

Her fearless honesty attracted some of Nashville’s most revered songwriters — including Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Leon Bridges), Pat McLaughlin (John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Alan Jackson), Paul Overstreet (two-time GRAMMY, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Song of the Year winner) — while legendary musicians such as iconic steel players Paul Franklin and Russ Pahl, who also contributes baritone, pianist Jim Moose Brown, organist Billy Swan, upright bassist Steve Mackie and GRAMMY-winning guitarist David Rawlings helped bring the songs to life with a spacious, emotionally rich sound.

The album also reflects Blevins’ mission to connect through music rather than chase recognition.

“I didn’t need to be sought after or famous, but I knew I wanted to connect with people and to use music to bring us together,” says Blevins

Introduced to Auerbach by friend Marcus King, Blevins found an immediate creative kinship that encouraged her to strip away polish in favor of honesty.

Blevins continues, “Instead of being so put together, these songs say, ‘I’m human. I can be insecure.’ That’s real freedom.”

With All Dressed Up now available and her national TV debut marking a powerful arrival on the broader stage, Leah Blevins continues to carve out a space defined not by perfection, but by authenticity by offering songs that meet listeners wherever they are, and remind them they’re not alone.

ATLUS RELEASES LABEL DEBUT ALBUM ART OF LETTING GO – OUT NOW

Platinum recording artist Atlus releases his label debut album, Art of Letting Go, today via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. The 15-track project is his most personal to date, shaped by grief, growth, and the real-life experiences that have defined both the artist and the man.

Named after its title track, which confronts the loss of his sister to addiction, Art of Letting Go mines the emotional core of Atlus’ songwriting. Blending country with elements of rock, pop, and hip-hop, the album reflects the full spectrum of his story, balancing hard truths with moments of light, resilience, and release. Listen HERE.

Led by producer Andrew Baylis alongside a group of key collaborators, the project includes Atlus’ debut country radio single “Devil Ain’t Done,” the driving lead track “Spare Key,” and release day focus “Still Haven’t Stopped.”

This time, with this album, it’s about moving through moments and experiences that shaped me as a person, as a brother, as a son, and as an artist. Looking at some of the things that brought me to where I am, and both acknowledging them and letting them have their place in the story as we try to add new chapters,” shares Atlus. “My deepest hope is that someone out there hears these songs and connects with the stories and the music and feels like their load is a little lighter because we are sharing the experience.”

As Billboard noted while naming him February’s Country Rookie of the Month, “For Atlus, who grew up in Denver in a single-parent home marked by poverty, the album marks not only a career triumph, but also a way of sharing his story of overcoming adversity, and inspiring others to prevail over their own obstacles.”

Before signing with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, Atlus built a loyal following through four independent albums and a relentless work ethic that carried him from the underground to major milestones. His rise includes more than one billion on-demand streams, a Platinum release, a Top 5 album on Spotify’s Global Album Chart, and a standout performance alongside Jelly Roll at a packed Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Recently named one of Pandora’s 2026 Artists to Watch in Country, he continues to connect with fans through emotionally direct songwriting and a voice that cuts through.

That connection was forged long before the spotlight. Atlus began writing songs while working long hours as a commercial truck driver, crafting lyrics behind the wheel to support his family and fund studio time. That grind laid the foundation for the artist he is today and continues to shape the perspective that runs throughout Art of Letting Go.

The project builds on the success of “Devil Ain’t Done,” which was among the most-added songs at country radio on add day, reached the Top 5 in Australia, and continues to climb in the United States. The track pairs a driving sound with lyrics rooted in self-doubt and perseverance, expanding on Atlus’ ability to turn personal struggles into something universally felt. Watch below.

Another standout, “Still Haven’t Stopped,” serves as a companion to the album’s title track, exploring the weight of loving someone in active addiction and the complicated space between holding on and letting go.

The lead track “Spare Key” delivers a powerful chorus built around a symbol of trust, love, and vulnerability, with a music video featuring an appearance by friend, artist, and influencer Demps. Watch HERE.

Family remains a constant thread throughout the album. Atlus’ success has allowed him to retire his mom, but before music took off, he balanced multiple jobs including truck driving, UPS shifts, and rideshare work to make ends meet and invest in his career.

Atlus continues his 2026 tour with festival appearances and headlining shows before joining Russell Dickerson this spring on the RussellMania Tour. See a full list of tour dates HERE.

About Atlus
Raised in a single-parent home marked by poverty and addiction, Atlus had to grow up fast, building resilience and a lifelong commitment to authenticity in his music. Phonetically named after the mythological Titan who held up the heavens, he began writing while working long hours as a commercial truck driver, crafting lyrics and melodies behind the wheel to help support his family and fund studio time. That pavement-pounding grind became both his classroom and his engine, fueling the rise of a loyal underground following. Breakthrough moments soon followed, including performing alongside Jelly Roll at a packed Red Rocks Amphitheatre and landing a Top 5 album on Spotify’s Global Album Chart. With over a billion on-demand streams, millions of followers across social platforms, a Platinum single to his name, and recognition as one of Pandora’s 2026 Artists to Watch in Country, and Billboard’s February Rookie of the Month, Atlus continues to turn personal stories into universal anthems. His label debut album, Art of Letting Go, is out now via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and features his first radio single that is currently climbing the country radio charts, “Devil Ain’t Done.”

LUNGBURNER Releases New Single "Apostasy" Ahead of Upcoming Album Dogma, Out April 17

LUNGBURNER has released their new single "Apostasy," the second track from their forthcoming third full-length album Dogma, due out April 17 - pre-orders are available HERE. A song that has already become a staple in the band’s live sets throughout 2025, "Apostasy" captures a balance of controlled intensity and raw emotion.

The track begins with a sample of philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti challenging the role of religion in shaping false realities and imposed truths. From there, "Apostasy" builds into a focused and aggressive composition that reflects the tension involved in breaking away from deeply rooted cultural and ideological systems. It presents both confrontation and release, centered on rejecting expectation and inherited belief.

While the title references the act of leaving one’s birth religion, often at significant personal risk, "Apostasy" extends beyond that idea. The song stands as a statement of individual direction and the pursuit of truth and peace, even when it comes at the cost of social acceptance. It reflects a willingness to move forward without guarantees.

The song was the second written for Dogma and developed from an earlier piece by Joshua. Its early creation helped shape the direction of the album, both thematically and sonically. Its reception in live settings has reinforced its place as a defining track in this cycle.

With Dogma, LUNGBURNER continues to explore themes of identity, belief, and autonomy through a direct and uncompromising sound. "Apostasy" offers a clear introduction to the record’s core ideas.

Dogma arriving in full on April 17.

About LUNGBURNER:

LUNGBURNER is an Atlanta, Georgia based heavy music band formed in Athens, Georgia in 2023 by guitarist and vocalist Jens Anderberg, guitarist Joseph Mills, and drummer Dylan Mincey. The band quickly developed a reputation for combining the crushing weight of southern sludge and doom with industrial textures, progressive songwriting, and atmospheric melody. Current members include Jens Anderberg on guitar and lead vocals, Joseph Mills on guitar and backup vocals, and Joshua Broughton on bass, with a new drummer currently being finalized.

Drawing influence from artists such as YOB, HIGH ON FIRE, KILLING JOKE, NINE INCH NAILS, PRINCE, SLOMATICS, OPETH, LED ZEPPELIN, and MINISTRY, LUNGBURNER creates rhythmically mature heavy music built on downtuned guitars, layered samples and synth textures, and dynamic song structures. Their sound blends the density of doom with progressive timing and melodic depth while maintaining a powerful live energy.

The band released their debut album Embers in January 2024 followed by their sophomore record Natura Duale in September 2024 through Electric Desert Records, along with the standalone single "Misery" in 2024. Both releases helped establish the band within the underground heavy music scene, earning placements including #32 on the Doom Charts in September 2024, Rob Hammer Band of the Year 2024, Weedian Top 100 of 2024, and Monster Riff Top 75 of 2024.

LUNGBURNER has performed widely across the southeastern United States, appearing at festivals such as Tampa Doom & Gloom Fest, Gravitoid Heavy Music Doomfest, Seismic Fest, ATL Doom Fest, Stoned Riff Revival, and AthFest, while also touring the region in 2025 on the Fall Into Darkness Tour with FALSE GODS. Additional highlights include opening for BARONESS at their Atlanta New Year's Eve 2025 performance and headlining Doomed and Stoned Fest in Asheville, North Carolina.

Outside of music, all members work professionally in various engineering fields, and none of them originally came from traditional doom or stoner rock backgrounds. Their approach to the genre grew organically from a shared appreciation for heavy music and experimentation, which continues to shape the band's evolving sound as they move toward a more progressive direction while maintaining their doom foundation.

LUNGBURNER is:

Jens Anderberg — guitar, lead vocals
Joseph Mills — guitar, backup vocals
Joshua Broughton — bass

Flatwounds Release "Chain of Command" EP + Share "Inertia" Video

Albany-based up and comers FLATWOUNDS — Colin O'Hare [vocals], Matt Degnan [guitar], David Granger [bass], and Wade Coonrad [drums] — are thrilled to release their new EP Chain Of Command. It arrived today, March 20, via Blue Grape Music. Get it here

Today, the band, which deftly combines a DNA-distinct blend of hardcore and '90s hard rock, shares the video for "Inertia."

Watch it below

"'Inertia' was written with a sense of urgency," says O'Hare. "It's made to pull something out of you that you might not be comfortable with. But that's what it's all about."

Regarding the EP as a whole, O'Hare explained previously, "Chain of Command represents how we've evolved and matured as musicians. This is our sound. It's a little weird, dissonant, melodic, and heavy when it needs to be. The title works because most of the songs are about apathy and a lack of action. There's always a 'chain of command' in life, and it keeps you from doing what you want. It could be societal or in your head. You always have to answer to something, though."

Flatwounds are hitting the road throughout the spring and summer starting with a handful of dates with Excide, and are set to appear at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas next month. The band will also perform at the Sick New World Pre-Show with Mastodon and Melvins at The Chelsea in Las Vegas on April 24.

What would a rock 'n' roll band sound like if it was born from a basement hardcore scene? Well, it might sound a bit like Flatwounds. The Albany, NY quartet could certainly send any floor into a frenzy, yet they also write hooks addictive enough to bring an arena to its feet. Forged by a cold indie underground and even colder East Coast winters, there’s chaotic intensity underneath their concrete infectiousness. The band transfixes with bold hooks and traumatize with jarring and jagged bursts of distortion. As the story goes, Colin had a show booked for December 2022 and needed a band. Knowing one another from around town, he tagged in Wade and Matt (who brought Dave into the fold). Not only did the guys play the aforementioned gig, but they wrote what would become the 2023 Raw EP. Off the latter, "Rust" and "Fade" generated hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams. Flatwounds picked up the momentum with the Down EP and Drain EP. At the top of 2025, "Drenched" surged on TikTok, amassed 171K Spotify streams, and caught the attention of Blue Grape Music and producer Brian Robbins [Beartooth, Pierce The Veil]. Early praise poured in from Revolver, Lambgoat, Idioteq, and more. Now, their signature style firmly takes shape on their 2026 EP Chain of Command [Blue Grape Music] with grit, grime, and gusto intact.

Modesty Blaise presents "The Little Things You Do" ahead of "Melancholia - Remaster" 25th Anniversary Edition

Bristol indiepop collective Modesty Blaise presents "The Little Things You Do", a lost masterpiece of baroque-pop, as a remaster that finally delivers the lush, orchestral depth originally intended for its aborted 7-inch release. The video footage was filmed during the Melancholia tour in Germany, just after the original  album was released.

Previewing the remastered 25th Anniversary edition of their seminal album "Melancholia", this single breathes new life into this cult-classic, trading its mysterious history for a polished, high-fidelity presence that demands a place in the modern pop canon.

One of the many standout tracks from this record, 'The Little Things You Do' was slated to be the third single from the cult classic album but that didn’t happen - the band had started recording a video and then it stopped and now nobody can remember why! Frontman and founder Jonny Collins shares, “It was always going to be a single, that’s why we recorded a single version. I wonder what happened”.

The 2026 remaster was prepared with a light-touch approach, focused on clarity and depth rather than reinvention. Greater dynamic range and enhanced detail bring new presence to the recording, revealing subtle textures and spatial nuance while preserving the character of the original mix. Featuring newly-restored audio, many outtakes from the original sessions and updated artwork in a fantastic new 3 Disc version, this release reflects on the album’s legacy and continued resonance.

Modesty Blaise have also shared the lead track, "Carol Mountain" as a Bandcampexclusive, the video for which was created from footage shot when Modesty Blaise played in New York in 2002, when the band was made up of Jonny Collins, David W Brown, Gregory Jones, Clem Courtney and Julien Clapperton.

Modesty Blaise have been around since 1993 in various guises. In that year, they recorded their debut single 'Christina Terrace' with Edwyn Collins at the helm, garnering them immediate success with a live appearance on ITV and inclusion among many end-of-year top music rankings. Other highlights include supporting Robbie Williams at London's O2 Arena, inclusion in a Rough Trade compilation, an ITV company documentary on Jonny Collins, and a BBC Radio session involving seventeen people.

“For quite a while now, people have been asking us why our biggest album wasn’t available to stream. We decided that, if we were going to do it, we’d do it properly”, says Jonny Collins.

Originally on CD and vinyl, "Melancholia" remains a quietly influential work more than two decades after its release — defined by emotional precision, sonic restraint, and a timeless sense of atmosphere. The 2026 remaster has been completed with a light-touch approach, focused on clarity and depth rather than reinvention. Greater dynamic range and enhanced detail bring new presence to the recording, revealing subtle textures and spatial nuance while preserving the character of the original mix.

On March 20th, 'The Little Things You Do' is available across digital platforms, including SpotifyApple Music and Bandcamp.  The "Melancholia - Remaster" album will be released on April 24th.

TRIPLE 8 MANAGEMENT ELEVATES AARON SAWYER TO PARTNER

Triple 8 Management announces the promotion of Aaron Sawyer from artist manager to partner.

Sawyer joined the Triple 8 team in 2023, alongside longtime colleague and artist manager Hannah Boren. Under the Triple 8 banner, Sawyer, Boren and management coordinator Evy Daunic represent Sierra Ferrell, I’m With Her, Julian Lage, Madison Cunningham, Nickel Creek, Vincent Lima, Watkins Family Hour, along with Sean and Sara Watkins.

“Aaron is on an incredible run, building a remarkable roster while also being a truly outstanding teammate across the company. We are not ever silo’d here at Triple 8, and Aaron has fully embraced that culture,” shared CEO/Founder George Couri.

Executive Partner Paul Steele added, “Beyond the success of the artists he represents, Aaron has shown up again and again for this company –  helping close deals for other teams, jumping in wherever needed, and consistently bringing a steady, thoughtful and generous spirit to the work.”

“Paul has been a champion of my management journey for nearly 20 years, while George’s help, encouragement and steady ear for endless advice was present on my first day at Triple 8,” remarked Sawyer. “I’m thrilled and honored to deepen my partnership with Triple 8 and continue to invest not only in my roster, but in the leadership of the company and staff.”

Prior to joining Triple 8’s team, Sawyer served as an artist manager at Red Light Management.
