If ever a band deserved an LP of live material, it’s the Laughing Hyenas. As Wolf Eyes’ Aaron Dilloway so eloquently put it, “The Laughing Hyenas were the scariest band I have ever seen.” With their roots firmly planted in Detroit’s Cass Corridor punk rock and hardcore scene of the early 80s, the Laughing Hyenas took aggressive rock ‘n’ roll to a completely different plane.
SYLOSIS - Release Career Defining Record 'The New Flesh' + Drop Video For 'Spared From The Guillotine'
SYLOSIS have released their highly anticipated, career-defining record The New Flesh via Nuclear Blast. The album is a towering testament to destructive riffing, incisive melody and refined brute force. PRIMAL FEAR Release Impelling New Single & Video "One"
While the world remains being a restless place, metal commando PRIMAL FEAR is among the most reliable constants in these insecure times. Supporting their 2025 success album Domination on stages worldwide with a second European leg kicking off in London, UK on March 11, the band warm-up their engines with a new track called "One" today. The straight-forward anthem calls upon mankind to stand together instead of feuding each other, and was recorded during theDomination sessions. Combining hard-hitting riffs and the group’s melodic trademark approach masterfully, the single is in no way inferior to PRIMAL FEAR’s celebrated current opus!
Bassist/vocalist Mat Sinner states: “‘One’ is a continuation of the Domination atmosphere. A massive riff, true PF melodies, a driving groove, and Ralf’s characteristic vocals. It’s like a teaser for the second leg of our European tour as well as our upcoming South American run. Our cover artist, Death.Milk.Designs, has created a killer video clip with a collection of awesome scenes. Enjoy listening & watching the video, we're incredibly excited for the next part of the tour!”
Watch the official music video below:

Since September 5, 2025, the day which has seen the official Domination release through Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), the group have undisputedly shown that they belong to the very front of the scene. On one hand, Domination stormed the various album charts around the globe once again with a major highlight being their fourth German top 10 entry in a row, rounded off by a series of impressive numbers in other European countries as well as in the US and Japan.
On the other hand, PRIMAL FEAR fired countless songs from their rich hit arsenal - including a series of their brand new material - at the crowds during the first leg of their “Domination” European tour. Fans gathering at the packed venue have literally known the words of "Destroyer" and especially their obvious new stomping anthem "I Am The Primal Fear" from day 1 of the trek, making these dates a common triumph across the continent after re-completing the PRIMAL FEAR foundation and Mat Sinner’s long-awaited live return. Culminating in form of their first headline appearances in Spain in 7 years, the band have renewed, if not extended their footprint on the grounds of the metal world with this 21-date run.
It’s beyond debate that the metal commandos must bring their oiled machinery to other places, which they couldn’t visit during the first part of their “Domination” tour. No sooner said than done. The second leg is booked and the eagle is conquering the posters of worldwide festivals continuously. Don’t miss out & and be prepared to get an unforgettable heavy metal lesson taught by PRIMAL FEAR!

RANDALL KING RELEASES SLOW BURNING “THINKIN’ ‘BOUT DRINKIN’”
As Randall King readies his follow-up project to 2024’s Into The Neon, the Hereford, Texas native arrives today with his latest slow burner, “Thinkin’ ‘Bout Drinkin’,” available everywhere now. Listen BELOW.
"I've been thinkin' 'bout how excited I am for this new chapter - so what better day than today to share an early taste of what we've got cooking? 'Thinkin' 'Bout Drinkin'' is country music delivered right to your ears, courtesy of the Tonk machine,” shares King. “I hope you enjoy it, because there's more like it coming soon..."
Written by Don Sampson, Monty Holmes and Troy Cassar-Daley, and produced by Jared Conrad, “Thinkin’ ‘Bout Drinkin’” finds the narrator facing temptation in the face of heartbreak.
“Thinkin’ ‘Bout Drinkin’” is King’s first release since signing with progressive artist development company Neon Coast for artist management, and is the latest off his upcoming project.
King’s sophomore album, Into The Neon, was released Jan. 26, 2024 to critical acclaim, leaving Texas Monthly observing "his Texas bona fides are unimpeachable.” Into The Neon was also named among the top country albums of 2024 by Entertainment Focus and Whiskey Riff.
Known for his road warrior diet of nearly 150 shows a year, King is currently on his 2026 Big Deal Tour and will support Luke Bryan on select dates of his upcoming Word On The Street Tour. King will kick off his 13-date A Long Way From Amarillo Europe 2026 Tour on May 4 in Oslo, Norway.

ABOUT RANDALL KING:
A West Texas native and self-described “old soul," Warner Music Nashville's Randall King has never wavered in his honky-tonk allegiance – in fact, he’s worn it like a badge of honor, growing with pride into a leading voice for today’s traditional country. Amassing nearly 500 Million streams with singles like “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl” and “Mirror, Mirror,” he’s kept the twang alive in country’s mainstream while also earning acclaim through deeply personal EPs like 2020’s Leanna, and his 2022 major label album debut, Shot Glass – which landed on both Whiskey Riff’s Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and Billboard’s All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far). Schooled on icons like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson, but inspired by modern masters like Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan, King first built an independent, grass-roots following on the strength of his electrifying live shows – each one a harrowing mix of rowdy roughnecking, romantic tenderness and breathtaking emotion – never asking for permission to explore his creative vision. He has since gone on to headline all across the U.S., the U.K. and Europe, where he continues to play nearly 150 shows a year and hone his craft where it matters most. Named a Country Artist to Watch by everyone from Pandora and Country Now to Music Mayhem Magazine, his sophomore major label album Into the Neon, available now, takes that craft to the next level, as King’s neo-traditional roots meet the blood-pumping rhythms and sharp, arena-sized grooves of Y2K-era country and beyond. Co-produced by King and Jared Conrad, and featuring 18 tracks, punchy sounds exist side-by-side with timeless swagger, further blurring the line between yesteryear and today–even as King renews his forever-country vows. Into The Neon was named among the best country albums of the year by Whiskey Riff, Country Now & Entertainment Focus, and yielded King’s debut single, “I Could Be That Rain.”
COREY KENT FAST-TRACKS RELEASE OF NEW SONG “EMPTY WORDS” DUE TO OVERWHELMING FAN DEMAND
Multi-platinum country star Corey Kent is giving fans what they asked for, fast-tracking the release of his powerful new song “Empty Words” after an overwhelming early response with the teaser being viewed over 20 million times across social media platforms. Listen to “Empty Words” BELOW.
Written by Kent alongside Austin Goodloe, Lydia Vaughan, Matt Roy and Joybeth Taylor, “Empty Words” delivers a gut-punch of regret and reflection wrapped in Kent’s signature country-rock grit.
“As a songwriter, it feels like catching lightning in a bottle when you find that line or double entendre that carries more weight than expected,” shared Kent. “So ‘Empty Words’ is really special because it says something heavy yet simply. I love that it’s already resonating with fans. Based on their insane reaction, we didn’t want to make them wait so we’ve bumped it up in the release schedule to get it to them even sooner.”
Built around stark honesty and emotional fallout, the song captures the quiet devastation of realizing too late that words without action don’t hold weight:
The release follows Kent’s recent collaboration with Koe Wetzel, “Rocky Mountain Low,” which is currently climbing the country radio charts. The tracks are the first taste of new music since Kent’s 2025 EP Poster Child.
Surpassing 1 billion career streams earlier in the year, Kent’s second No. 1 single “This Heart” was certified GOLD by the RIAA while his hard-driving hit “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” is approaching PLATINUM status. Both join Kent’s TRIPLE-PLATINUM No. 1 breakout “Wild As Her.”
Looking ahead, the Oklahoma native will join Jason Aldean’s Full Throttle World Tour in February 2026 for a series of dates in Australia and New Zealand. Next April, Kent will return to the massive Stagecoach festival in Indio, California (4/25). And in May, he’ll be back overseas for the Highways Festival in London, U.K. (5/16), plus a handful of headline dates in Germany and The Netherlands.
Recognized by Rolling Stone as an artist that is “poised to be country’s latest red dirt star,” Kent has become a decorated artist on the rise, growing from humble heartland roots into a Triple-Platinum certified No. 1 hit maker with one billion career streams.
Rising from the vibrant Red Dirt country scene as the embodiment of authenticity, Kent set his sights on Nashville as a teen, bringing his self-penned catalog of country-rock anthems with him. But after the pandemic coincided with the loss of his first publishing deal, Kent was forced to move to Texas and get a job on a paving crew to pay the bills, yet he stubbornly refused to call music quits, with honky-tonks and dancehalls on both sides of the Red River becoming his stomping ground.
Fast forward a few years and the hit single “Wild As Her” proved he was right all along. An untamed tribute to a free-spirited stunner, the track re-invigorated Kent’s career as a now Triple-Platinum-certified No. 1 at country radio, and the lead single off his 2023 major label album debut, Blacktop. Since then, Kent’s track “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” went Gold and he also earned his second No. 1 at country radio with track “This Heart,” as the song reached the top of both the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart and the Billboard Country Airplay chart last summer.
Kent released his sophomore major-label album, Black Bandana, to critical acclaim in 2024, with Music Row Magazine describing the title track as “gently but unrelentingly uplifting.” He’s also earned next-big thing accolades along the way, including recognition from CMT and the Opry Next Stage program and toured with the likes of Morgan Wallen, Jon Pardi, Jason Aldean and Parker McCollum.
Defined by the tenacity and trailblazing spirit he developed from years of cutting his teeth on the road, Kent is now kickstarting a new chapter, taking his creativity to new heights. For the latest news and information about Corey Kent, visit coreykentofficial.com.
SOMETHING UNTO NOTHING REISSUE THEIR DEBUT ALBUM REMASTERED, EXPANDED AND ON VINYL FOR THE FIRST TIME
“There must always be a beginning and there must always be an end….
But while you are here, it’s about the message you send.”
Canadian Juno Award winner and platinum-selling vocalist Sass Jordan reunites with powerhouse multi-instrumentalist Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy Osbourne) alongside bassist Michael Devin (Whitesnake) to celebrate the electrifying reissue of Something Unto Nothing - now fully remastered, expanded with bonus tracks, and available now on vinyl for the very first time via Crown X Recordings.
Originally released in 2013, the self-titled debut captured a raw, unfiltered energy that felt both timeless and urgent. Now, remastered at Iguana Studios in Toronto under the direction of Brian Tichy, the album roars back to life with deeper grooves, richer sonics, and an even greater punch.
The project’s roots stretch back to 2010, when Jordan reunited with Tichy - who had previously played on her 1994 album Rats. What began as a reunion quickly reignited into something bigger. The first song written, “Burned,” set the tone: fearless, soulful, unapologetic rock and roll.
Sass reflects:
“Brian and I have a fantastic creative partnership. There’s a constant flow of inspiration when we’re together - songs just pour out.”
She adds:
“Every track on this album holds echoes of the music we grew up loving. It’s all the flavors you recognize - but reimagined into something fresh and alive. We’re not reinventing rock & roll. We’re celebrating it.
Recorded over two intense weeks in a rustic mountain shack in Canyon Country, the spirit of those sessions remains untouched: no trends, no polish-for-polish’s-sake, no digital trickery. Just musicians in a room capturing lightning.
Tichy describes it best:
“For those who like to look life in the face… for those who move at another pace… Real grooves. Real performances. Real rock.”
DELUXE LIMITED SIGNED PACKAGE
For collectors and die-hard fans, Something Unto Nothing is now available as a limited deluxe signed edition:
• Flame-colored LP
• CD version including bonus tracks
• Hand-signed album flat (Sass Jordan & Brian Tichy)

Intoxicated is a thrash/death metal band from Altamonte Springs, Florida, originally formed in 1993. Led by vocalist and guitarist Erik Payne, the band quickly carved out a place in Florida’s extreme metal lineage, earning early mentorship from Death’s legendary Chuck Schuldiner. Their first run produced a trio of EPs—.08 (1994), Scars (1995), and Metal Neck (1997)—before releasing their third EP, Drain.
Following their initial rise, Intoxicated went on hiatus as Payne, along with Obituary’s Donald Tardy and Ken Andrews, joined the touring lineup for Andrew W.K. in 1999, a role they held for nearly two decades while performing around the world.
The band reactivated in 2019, returning with the Walled EP (2020) and their long-awaited debut full-length, Watch You Burn (2022). The album showcased the band’s signature blend of ragged thrash aggression and Florida-bred death metal grit. Featuring guest appearances from Ken Andrews (Obituary, ex–Andrew W.K.) and Tony Foresta (Municipal Waste), and produced, mixed, and mastered by Ryan Boesch (Foo Fighters, Andrew W.K.) at Candor Recording—formerly Morbid Angel’s headquarters—Watch You Burn reaffirmed Intoxicated’s place among fans of classic Kreator, Death, Obituary, Protector, and Devastation.
Now, Intoxicated is preparing to unleash their second full-length album, The Dome, on Redefining Darkness Records.
Rooted firmly in Florida’s storied death-thrash tradition, Intoxicated’s sound draws natural comparisons to Death, Sadus, and Obituary— as marked by unrelenting speed, sharp riffing, and concise, high-impact songwriting.

Out today from Dissentience!
DISSENTIENCE, the progressive death-thrash unit from Bethlehem, PA, returns with their most conceptually ambitious and sonically punishing release to date: Kaiju. Scheduled for release on February 20, 2026, Kaiju is a four-track concept EP that fuses cinematic horror, crushing riffs, and lyrical dread into a singular apocalyptic vision. Drawing inspiration from classic Japanese monster films and the unknowable terrors of Lovecraftian mythology, the record explores the narrative of a colossal, nameless beast as it decimates a city. Rather than paying tribute to kaiju lore in name alone, DISSENTIENCE builds a world where riffs, lyrics, and production align to place the listener in the path of annihilation.
The EP begins with "Obsidian Tomb", a track that captures the initial moments of catastrophe. A somber acoustic intro builds tension before the monster is unleashed. The song moves through blast-laden choruses, thrash-driven verses, and groove-heavy interludes, all while painting a picture of destruction through the eyes of a terrified populace. The band intentionally avoids naming the monster or the city to keep the setting timeless and the fear universal. This choice also reinforces the Lovecraftian tone by allowing the horror to remain undefined, inviting each listener to project their own dread into the story.
"Chaos Absolute" takes a different narrative angle by focusing on the political and social collapse that follows the attack. Opening with a syncopated, high-tension riff and shifting into a massive, deceptively catchy groove, the track evokes the panic and futility of global leaders attempting to respond to an unstoppable force. Frantic guitar harmonies, dissonant progressions, and a brief clean bridge section give way to some of the heaviest material on the record. The phrase “fall into chaos absolute” functions as both a summary of the storyline and a reflection of the listener’s experience as the music surges with desperation.
The title track "Kaiju" represents the climax of the EP, unleashing a relentless barrage of violence and devastation. The lyrics describe grotesque scenes of bloodshed and helplessness as the beast rips through the last remnants of resistance. Riffs churn beneath guttural vocals, with every passage dripping with urgency and rage. The music mirrors the scale of the narrative, building to overwhelming levels of sonic brutality. The repeated line “Kaiju will bring forth a new age of rot” serves as the thesis for the entire record, framing the monster not only as a literal destroyer but as a symbol of humanity’s self-inflicted reckoning.
The final track "Death Shroud" transitions into the aftermath. With the monster gone, what remains is a landscape of ash, grief, and existential dread. The band leans into dissonance and atmosphere, balancing crushing heaviness with bleak introspection. Survivors are left to make sense of their trauma, questioning whether the world can rebuild or if it even should. The Kaiju, now retreated, is no less present. Its legacy hangs in the smoke, a constant reminder of how fragile everything truly was. “The Kaiju may lay dormant, but the anguish remains” is the emotional core of the track and perhaps of the entire release.
Kaiju was produced by DISSENTIENCE in collaboration with Corey Pierce, recorded at Peach Pie Sound by Matt Menafro, mixed by Zeuss, and mastered by Alan Douches. The yet-to-be-revealed cover art is by Matt Stikker, known for his vivid and brutal visual storytelling. This release follows the band’s prior offerings Mask of Pretense (2018) and Empire Anatomy (2022), continuing their evolution as songwriters and sonic architects.
Refusing to imitate the past, DISSENTIENCE draws from influences like TRIVIUM, REVOCATION, SYLOSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEATH, and LAMB OF GOD, all while forging a sound that avoids the trappings of nostalgia. Their music is defined by technicality, brutality, and a refusal to be boxed into genre clichés. Critics have taken note. Decibel Magazine remarked that DISSENTIENCE channels the essence of classic thrash and death metal without creating a carbon copy. Metal Injection praised their ability to blend groove and fury in a way that hits with maximum impact.
With Kaiju, DISSENTIENCE has crafted more than just a record. It is a fully realized conceptual journey that pushes their sound further into new territory. Every song contributes to a unified narrative of destruction, dread, and reflection. It is a rare example of a metal record that is both musically blistering and thematically rich. Where others nod to monsters, DISSENTIENCE gives them voice, weight, and consequence.
About DISSENTIENCE:
Formed in 2013 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, DISSENTIENCE is a progressive death-thrash metal band that combines the technical precision of death metal with the relentless energy of thrash. Rejecting retro imitation and genre stagnation, the band creates forward-thinking metal that is both aggressive and dynamic. Drawing influence from bands like TRIVIUM, REVOCATION, SYLOSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEATH, and LAMB OF GOD, DISSENTIENCE forges a sound built on sharp riffs, crushing rhythms, and inventive songwriting.
The lineup features Connor Valentin on guitar and vocals, James Vitale on guitar, Sean Langer on bass, and Nick Scherden on drums. Known for their intense live performances and refusal to be confined to a single subgenre, the band continuously pushes their sound in new directions. Their music balances chaos and melody while exploring dark themes through a modern lens.
After releasing their debut EP Mask of Pretense in 2018 and their full-length album Empire Anatomy in 2022, DISSENTIENCE returned with the concept EP Kaiju in 2026. The record blends the devastation of giant monster cinema with the dread of Lovecraftian horror, showcasing the band’s evolution in sound and narrative depth. DISSENTIENCE has earned a reputation as one of the most compelling rising forces in heavy music. Their mission is clear: to make metal that is uncompromising, inventive, and unapologetically intense.

Out Today - Necronomicon Ex Mortis - Zombie Blood Nightmare
Chicago horror-death fiends NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS return with their most ferocious and unhinged release to date, the aptly titled Zombie Blood Nightmare. Out Now, this six-song EP is a whirlwind of 90s death metal stomp, 80s shred obsession, and tongue-in-cheek B-movie gore that cements the band’s identity as both serious riff-worshippers and gleeful purveyors of horror camp.
From the opening grind of “Left To Die,” listeners are thrown into a pit of decay and despair, guided by a colossal guest solo from none other than Jeff Young of MEGADETH. The song lurches like a doomed soul chained in a gore pit, every riff dripping with rot, until Young’s guitar screams carve through the gloom. Without pause, the band erupts into “No More Room In Hell,” a SUFFOCATION-inspired riff frenzy that pays homage to Dawn of the Dead. It’s a brutal sprint of tremolo riffs, spiraling solos, and lyrical nods to malls under siege and the endless march of the undead.
If excess is a virtue, “Chopped Up and Burned” is a cathedral. Seven minutes of gratuitous death-thrash chaos, the track features blistering guest solos from Matthew Mills and Jeff Young, and pays blood-soaked tribute to The Evil Dead. The band thrives in the chaos, with riffs piled high on top of each other until the track collapses under its own madness. By contrast, “Lumbering, Blood Sucking Freaks” staggers like its namesake: a mid-tempo, oozing collection of riffs that shouldn’t work together, yet somehow lock into an eerie, zombified groove.
The bloodthirst only intensifies with “Hungry For Brains,” a thrash assault structured around symmetrical diminished scales and spiked by a guest solo from James Norton, a personal connection from guitarist Michael Nystrom Bala’s college days. Lyrically blunt and musically savage, it’s a zombie anthem that gnashes at the listener until there’s nothing left but bone. The EP closes with “Démoni,” the most technically demanding of the set, inspired by the 1985 Italian horror film Demons. Featuring time-signature shifts, Suffocation-style brutality, and a grotesque slam section in 5/4, it’s also the only track without a Bala solo, but instead, Manuel Barbara takes command, shredding with reckless abandon as the song spirals into total madness.
Zombie Blood Nightmare is NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS at their most chaotic and gleefully grotesque, but also their most ambitious. Produced, recorded, and mixed by Charlie Waymire at Ultimate Studios, and mastered by Ernesto Homeyer, the EP boasts a sound as sharp and punishing as its subject matter. Genoicide Artworks provides the cover art, completing a package that is equal parts brutal, absurd, and lovingly steeped in the traditions of horror metal.
Over the past three years, the band has released a steady stream of EPs (Necronomicon Ex Mortis, Silver Bullet, The Mother of Death) and splits (You’ve Got Red On You with BLOODFEAST RITUAL), carving out a niche with their technical fury and horror-inspired narratives. They’ve drawn praise from No Clean Singing (“a band to watch”), Metal Noise (“there is so much depth and texture”), and Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life (“thrilling heaviness”), while even catching the attention of Christian Muenzner (ex-OBSCURA).
With Zombie Blood Nightmare, NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS deliver not just another step forward, but a gory leap through the gateway to hell. It’s a record that pays homage to their death metal forebears while shamelessly indulging in horror schlock and fretboard excess. It may open new doors, or as the band prefers to put it, “new gateways to hell.”
About NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS:
Formed in Chicago in 2023, NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS have quickly carved out their place in the metal underground with a sound that is equal parts 90s death metal stomp, 80s shred worship, and campy B-horror storytelling. Guitarist and songwriter Michael Nystrom Bala, guitarist and orchestrator Manuel Barbara, bassist Yusuf Rashid, drummer Joey Ferretti, and vocalist John Sawicki bring a mix of technical ferocity and tongue in cheek horror fun that is as brutal as it is entertaining.
Since their debut EPs Necronomicon Ex Mortis and Silver Bullet in 2023, the band has unleashed a steady stream of releases including You and Your Friends Are Dead: Game Over in 2024, The Mother of Death in 2024, and the split You’ve Got Red On Youwith BLOODFEAST RITUAL in 2025. Their relentless creativity culminated in the 2025 compilation From the Void…THEY CAME, which further established their reputation as prolific riff mongers with a love for the grotesque and absurd.
With recognition from outlets such as No Clean Singing, Metal Noise, and Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life, and praise from Christian Muenzner of OBSCURA, NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS are being hailed as a band to watch. Their music fuses thrashy death metal brutality with dizzying solos while embracing the bloody theatrics of cult cinema. Equal parts homage and parody, their songs invite listeners to bang their heads, laugh at the gore, and revel in the chaos.
At their core, NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS are here to shred, to bleed, and to drag metal deeper into the crypt, one zombie, demon, and undead riff at a time.

Robin Ross & The Melodynes unveil 'Mind Space' album & ‘Campfire on the Moon’ video
Indie rockers Robin Ross & The Melodynes present their new 'Mind Space' album. Their second album, released via Pennsylvania indie imprint RPM Entertainment on February 20, showcases their diverse sound, mixing their own flavor of indie rock and classic rock sounds. The band also presents their new video for focus track 'Campfire on the Moon'.
Previewed by the B-52s-esque lead track 'Spill No Mo Wine' and the single 'Echo of Love', a shimmering anthem of sonic intimacy, 'Mind Space' is a head-trip with heart, blasting off from bedroom daydreams into a technicolor inner universe. Built from raw acoustic bones and lit up with electric spark, it balances cosmic drift with dance-floor swagger -- a joy-chasing, freedom-fueled reminder that the wildest frontier is the one inside your own head.
Robin Ross & The Melodynes is not just about music - it's about big fun between like-minded artists, including Wharton Tiers, JoEllen Gaetani, Katlyn Albrecht, Emery Rhodes, Tony Anniello. Joe (Bass) Torres, TW Howell and Nancy Isola. That shared joy is woven into every note, creating an infectious energy that invites the listener right into the heart of the party.
"Into my mind we roam. If we close the world around us and keep your eyes open, you can see prisms if you let them through. 'Mind Space' is a world of prisms -- some reach far and some are close. The title track 'Mind Space' is about resting in bed and drifting to the stars. Being the captain in your mind you can go wherever you want. Other songs like 'Spill No Mo Wine' and 'Shiny Blue Shoes' are our party stamp songs. Whatever world you land on, let's hope joy and spirits are plentiful," says Robin Ross.
"Other songs are about the journey. 'Follow' is aboard a spaceship en route to Mars, while 'Campfire On the Moon' is about all of your campfires in life together with others in a secluded sphere like the moon. We give in life as we move along the 'Echo of Love', which is a song about love by JoJo. I wrote the music on an acoustic guitar and built from there, adding the Strat later for the edge. 'Cause I Do' is something we do when we fall in love along life's flight. 'Taking All of My Heart' is another change ball, more of a pop love song about being swept off your feet on your journey. 'Come On In' is about being welcome -- come in let's dance. And 'Curious Mind' is about being tossed around in a dream but waking up to hope and beauty in someone someday".
This album was recorded at Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio in Milford, Pennsylvania, whereRoss produced and engineered it, along with famed engineer Jonathan Duckett (Phillip Glass, Kenny G, David Sanborn).
"This album wouldn't be complete if it didn't have a few side pocket tunes. 'Free the Young'is one of those songs, recalling castles and kings, where tyranny was born to a new generation -- a crest that is upon us now. This is a message for youth to question history and fight for freedom," saysRobin Ross.
"The other side pocket song is'Sweet Jane', a blues riff song about a pooch named Jane. We were chilling with Sweet Jane and hit the blues and her master, Tony, wrote up some lyrics. We put this down in the studio and have been playing it ever since."
Emerging from the New Jersey and New York music scenes in 1988, Robin Ross has grown into a central figure in the creative pulse of Milford, PA. A multi-faceted musician, songwriter, and producer for cover thirty years, he has released numerous album while helping launch and develop several recording spaces, includingTriple R StudiosandSound Complexnear NYC. He has since grown his current hub,Baa Baa Leaf Music Studiointo a creative sanctuary and production house.
In the early ’90s, Ross co-foundedLaughing Jack(later renamedJack’s Maze), praised for a progressive rock style echoing the grandeur of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Though business pursuits eventually pulled him down a different path, 2021 marked a return to form: he built Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio and reunited with bandmates Frank Cinquegrana, Scott Cowan, and Joe Torres to record new material, with a fresh Jack’s Maze release anticipated later this year.
As of February 20, 'Mind Space' is available on digital platforms, including Apple Music,Spotify, Amazon and Bandcamp, where his 2025 debut'Back To The Forest' EP asRobin Ross & The TW Howlers, is also available. CDs can be obtained athttps://robinrossmusic.com/ music.

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: The Veer Union Release New Album "Reinvention"
This is what a reset actually sounds like.
With Reinvention, The Veer Union return sharper, louder and more focused than ever. The album doesn't feel like a comeback — it feels like a band reconnecting with its core and pushing forward at the same time. Heavy, melodic and emotionally charged, Reinvention captures everything The Veer Union have built over years in the scene, refined into their most confident statement yet.
At the center of the record sits "Feel Again," the album's focus track and emotional backbone. It’s a song about breaking through numbness, about finding that spark after being worn down — and it hits with soaring hooks, crushing guitars and the kind of chorus that sticks instantly. "Feel Again" isn't just a highlight, it’s a reminder of why The Veer Union's music resonates so deeply with their audience.
The album also marks the peak of an incredibly successful campaign cycle. Over the past months, The Veer Union rolled out a steady run of singles that kept momentum building — tracks like "My Empire," "Sea Of Fear," "Caught In The Crossfire," "Sunk Your Teeth In" and "Meet Your Maker" each showing a different side of the band while staying unmistakably true to their sound. Each release pulled in more listeners, more attention, and more anticipation for what Reinvention would become.
That consistency paid off. With nearly 300,000 unique monthly listeners on Spotify, The Veer Union are proving that their reach is bigger than ever — connecting with longtime fans while constantly pulling in new ones across the global heavy scene.
Reinvention isn't about chasing trends or rewriting the past. It's about evolution, resilience and rediscovering purpose. This is The Veer Union fully locked in — and sounding stronger than ever.

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: Lost in Hollywood Drop New Single "Love Is Dying"
LOST IN HOLLYWOOD RELEASE BRAND NEW SINGLE "LOVE IS DYING" (FEAT. PHILIP STRAND FROM NORMANDIE).
Love isn't supposed to sound like this.
With "Love Is Dying," Lost in Hollywood tap straight into the moment where everything starts to crack — and they don't look away.
Featuring Philip Strand of Normandie, the new single by Lost In Hollywood blends crushing metalcore weight with a haunting melodic pull, balancing raw aggression and fragile emotion in a way that feels both intimate and explosive. It’s not a polished love song or a dramatic farewell — it's the sound of something falling apart in real time.
The track arrives at a moment where Lost in Hollywood have been quietly building serious momentum. Recent singles like "The Fire," "Pretty Skin," "Like A River" (feat. Of Virtue) and "The Art Of Being Torn Out" (Feat. Half Me) didn't just showcase different sides of the band — they proved how confidently they move between atmosphere, heaviness and emotional depth. Each release pushed their sound further, pulling more listeners into their orbit and solidifying their place in the modern metalcore landscape.
"Love Is Dying" feels like the emotional center of that journey. Philip Strand’s unmistakable voice adds a fragile contrast to the band’s relentless energy, turning the track into a tense back-and-forth between vulnerability and rage. It’s heavy, melodic, uncomfortable — and exactly the kind of song that sticks with you longer than expected.
All of this leads straight into Lost in Hollywood’s upcoming album, set for release on March 20th. The record promises to be the band's most focused and ambitious work to date — bigger in sound, sharper in songwriting and unafraid to sit with uncomfortable emotions. If the recent singles were pieces of the puzzle, "Love Is Dying" is the moment everything clicks into place.
March 20th isn't just another release date — it's the next step for a band that's done playing it safe.

Hillbilly Vegas Share New Single/Video "I Hope You Know"
Southern Rockers Hillbilly Vegas are sharing their new single & video for ”I Hope You Know”. The track is the 1st single from the Oklahoma based band’s upcoming album “A La Mode”, which is slated for release in May via Quarto Valley Records.
“I Hope You Know” is a song about the chaos of a relationship that’s deteriorated to the point of no return. The song is driven by guitars with a southern style, rocking blues groove - with just the right touch of grit that the band is known for.
The band’s Steve Harris says “I Hope You Know’ comes from a very personal experience in my life, but it’s a moment a lot of people recognize. It can be a romantic relationship, a friendship, family, or even a professional relationship. In my case, it was a professional relationship and a lifelong friendship that slowly deteriorated due to substance abuse. It’s realizing the person you trusted isn’t in control anymore, and that you can’t fix it for them. Sometimes the only thing left to do is let go and hope it gives them the motivation to fix themselves.”
The video for “I Hope You Know”, which was directed by GR1M (Chase Matthews, Crucifix), was filmed in Oklahoma and produced by the band. Harris explains the concept: “With the ‘I Hope You Know’ video, we paid tribute to where we come from and the music that built us. ’70s era rock was the greatest era of rock and roll. We kept it fun - like rock n’ roll is supposed to be and let the visuals reflect that golden age. We shot it at our warehouse during the worst snowstorm the U.S. had seen in 60 years, which forced us to keep it simple. Honestly, that made it even better.”
About Hillbilly Vegas:
Hillbilly Vegas’ dynamic sound caught the ears of an independent label in Nashville in 2011, and their first album “Ringo Manor” was released and sold more than 10,000 copies – driven by the hit single “Little Miss Rough and Tumble”. The band has gone on to chart 5 songs on Billboard’s Rock charts, including “Let It Ride” – which remained on the chart for 13 weeks and reached #10, “Feels Good”, “High Time For A Good Time”, “Hell To Pay”, “Two Gun Town”, and fan favorite “Shake It Like A Hillbilly”.
The band has earned a reputation for rousing live shows - bringing a loud, party-like atmosphere that is all-inclusive. They’ve shown they have a broad appeal across different genres, pleasing crowds while performing shows with rockers Blackberry Smoke, The Kentucky Headhunters, Wolfsbane and Ted Nugent; along with country icons Alabama, Travis Tritt, Blake Shelton, and Wynonna Judd. Hillbilly Vegas has played before huge crowds at NASCAR events, as well as many major bike rallies, including the legendary annual Sturgis Motorcycle rally. They have a strong UK following, and have played the Maid of Stone and Steelhouse festivals. The band is managed by David Spero (Joe Walsh, Cat Stevens/Yusef Islam, Bad Company). Tour dates are being booked in support of the album release for later this year.
Hillbilly Vegas is:
Steve Harris - Lead Vocals
Stacy Thornburg - Guitar/Vocals
Geraldo Dominelli - Guitar/Keyboards (former Loverboy/Paul Rodgers)
Todd Ronning - Bass (former Bad Company)
Gunnar Molton (Drums)

Leah Blevins Shares Haunting New Track "Lonely" Ahead of 'All Dressed Up' Album Arriving March 20
On the heels of recent releases “Be Careful Throwing Stones,” “Diggin’ in the Coal” and “All Dressed Up,” the title track from her Dan Auerbach-produced album, singer/songwriter Leah Blevins releases another deeply personal glimpse into her Easy Eye Sound debut with her new track, “Lonely,” available today. Listen to “Lonely” HERE and watch the video BELOW.
Written by Blevins with Auerbach and Pat McLaughlin, “Lonely” captures the quiet devastation of absence and the lingering ache of unfinished stories.
“This song represents the loss of someone that leaves you desperately wishing you could see them again,” shares Blevins. “Whatever the circumstances may be, you’re left holding onto a dream, a memory and all that you could’ve had if that significant person didn’t walk through that door to the other side.”
With sparse emotional clarity, the track unfolds with a cinematic stillness:
The new release continues to reveal the sonic depth of All Dressed Up – a timeless blend of Southern rock earthiness and pop-country shimmer, anchored by Blevins’ twangy, Karen Carpenter-esque vocal purity.
Previous releases have drawn early praise, with Whiskey Riff calling “Be Careful Throwing Stones,” a “song that needs to be on your radar” and “All Dressed Up,” was named a “hot new track” by Barnburner.” Meanwhile, “Diggin’ in the Coal” further showcased Blevins’ ability to find light in dark places, inspired by her East Kentucky roots and family coal mining legacy.
Pre-save All Dressed Up, set for release March 20, 2026, HERE.
In addition to the recent tracks, the official music video for “Be Careful Throwing Stones” premiered exclusively with Holler noting “the infectious, retro-tinged earworm has been elevated by a cinematic new music video.” Watch the official video HERE.
Raised on the bluegrass-stained Kentucky country of Loretta Lynn, Patty Loveless, Dwight Yoakam and fellow Sandy Hook native Keith Whitley, Blevins continues a lineage of storytellers who understand the power of plainspoken truth – crafting songs that feel both nostalgic and strikingly modern.

ICE NINE KILLS Officially Welcome Ghostface Into The INKverse With TWISTING THE KNIFE (FT. MCKENNA GRACE)
ICE NINE KILLS officially enter the canon of one of the most iconic horror franchises with “Twisting the Knife,” featured in the forthcoming film Scream 7. Castmember Mckenna Grace joins the band on the new single, a rare, high-impact crossover between one of modern metal’s most ambitious bands and one of horror cinema’s most enduring properties. Watch the official music video BELOW. Listen to the song HERE. Catch Scream 7 in theatres Friday, February 27th.
Ice Nine Kills mastermind Spencer Charnas shares:
“Twisting the Knife is our tribute to Wes Craven and the Scream franchise, which means so much to us. Scream is baked into the DNA of who I am and of Ice Nine Kills—my love of horror, comedy, and the collision between the two. I was already obsessed with Halloween and Friday the 13th, but Scream was the first I saw in theaters. Hearing the killer talk about horror movies, in that distinctively pop-culture savvy Kevin Williamson way, blew my mind.
In recent years, we’ve gotten to know and work with Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Neve Campbell, Rose McGowan, Jamie Kennedy, Lee Waddell, and others in different capacities. We announced the collaboration with Scream 7 at Wembley Arena, with Ghostface and Rose McGowan, which was surreal in itself.
When we learned that Mckenna Grace is a fan of our band, it made perfect sense to invite her to sing. She recorded her part in my home studio, in the same room where I keep my screen-used Scream knife prop, one of the four rubber knives made for the first movie.
Marco Beltrami’s Scream scores are just as influential to me as any other component of the films. In our song, there are echoes of the moody atmospheres he’s created, with our own INK twist.”
Mckenna Grace adds
“Making this song was such a special experience for me- I am such a big INK fan and it was such an amazing opportunity to be able to play with a different style of music. I am so inspired by Amy Lee's vocals and we all wanted to channel Scream and Sydney’s story as best as we could. Spencer and the guys were so much fun to collaborate with and I’m so thankful to Kevin Williamson.”
The accompanying music video continues Ice Nine Kills’ signature horror-cinema homage, blending performance with a post-video narrative short that continues the ever-expanding INKverse lore. The voice of Ghostface himself, Roger L. Jackson, reprises his iconic role. The story picks up directly from 2025’s “The Laugh Track,”, which saw Matthew Lillard playing himself. This installment escalates the meta-horror further, with David Arquette (as himself), alongside Johnny Brennan, creator of The Jerky Boys, as Francis Rizzowitz.
“Twisting the Knife” was first teased during Ice Nine Kills’ massive headlining show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, where the band staged the onstage “death” of Scream star Rose McGowan, followed by an onstage video call from Ghostface. The moment marked a theatrical high point in a career-defining run, following 2.5 years supporting Metallica on their global stadium tour and multiple sold-out headline tours worldwide.
Accompanying today’s release is a ‘Nightmare on The Knife’ limited edition merch drop. A riff on Ice Nine Kill’s monthly ‘Nightmare on The Ninth’ drops, specifically tailored to today’s announcement. The exclusive items are available for a limited time HERE.
20 years on from the release of their debut album, Ice Nine Kills are one of the most intentional and commercially successful bands in modern heavy music, driven by immersive cinematic world-building and a deep fusion of melody and bombast. Their two breakthrough albums, The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, generated over 1.5 billion streams alone and positioned the band as a rare crossover force.
INK’s recent string of standalone singles further cemented their position at the cutting edge of the intersection between horror and metal. “A Work of Art,” selected as the official song for Terrifier 3, soundtracked the film’s rise into box office history as the highest-grossing unrated movie of all time, while “The Great Unknown” sharpened the band’s cinematic instincts into a Matrix-inspired fever dream. Then came “The Laugh Track,” a homicidally catchy tribute to Jack Nicholson’s Joker that became the band’s most successful single to date, pushing them deeper into mainstream and pop culture conversation.
About Ice Nine Kills
Ice Nine Kills spread cavalier carnage with a knowing smile, crafting densely catchy songs that fuse extreme metal, melody, and punk with theatrical precision. Led by Spencer Charnas, the internationally acclaimed band broke through with The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. Tracks like the gold-certified “A Grave Mistake,” “Hip to be Scared,” “The American Nightmare,” and franchise collaborations including “A Work of Art,” the official song from Terrifier 3, cemented Ice Nine Kills as one of modern metal’s most distinctive and culturally fluent forces.
Beyond the music, the band has built the INKverse into a sprawling ecosystem encompassing high-concept cinematic videos, graphic novels, mock true-crime books, the Psychos Only community, monthly “Nightmare on the 9th” merch drops, and the annual Silver Scream Convention. Handpicked by Metallica for their M72 World Tour and embraced by the horror community that shaped Charnas from childhood, Ice Nine Kills continue to blur the line between music, film, and fandom. “Twisting The Knife (ft. Mckenna Grace)” signals a bloody new chapter: the band stands 20 years on from their debut, with their most ambitious and devilish era yet unfolding.
About McKenna Grace
Mckenna Grace is an emerging voice in alt‑pop, crafting emotionally charged, confessional music that reflects the same depth and vulnerability she brings to her acclaimed acting career. She began writing songs in 2020, turning to music as a personal outlet that quickly evolved into a powerful creative extension of her storytelling.
Shaped by a unique musical upbringing — her mother’s love of pop and her father’s passion for metal and hard rock — Grace blends intimate pop melodies with a raw, alternative edge. Her sound moves effortlessly between indie‑pop shimmer, pop‑punk energy, and lyrical honesty rooted in lived experience.
In 2021, she signed with Photo Finish Records and officially stepped into the music world with a run of singles that introduced her versatility and voice. The indie‑pop favorite “Natalie” celebrates friendship and platonic love with warmth and clarity. The high‑octane “LOSER!!” cemented her reputation for channeling teenage angst into anthemic, relatable songwriting, while “Swim Team” showcased her introspective and pensive sides and continued evolution as an artist.
Alongside her rising music career, Grace continues to take on high‑profile film roles. She was announced to star in Netflix’s live-action Scooby-Doo series, Scooby, from Berlanti Productions and recently wrapped Lionsgate’s Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (2026), portraying ‘Maysilee Donner’ in the highly anticipated prequel. She will also star in Scream 7 (2026), marking her entry into one of horror’s most enduring franchises as well as the sequel PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie (2026). In 2025 she was seen in a string of major releases including the feature adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Regretting You,Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, and Jan Kamosa’s Anniversary. She also recently returned as ‘Phoebe Spengler’ in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024), following the success of Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
THE ETERNAL Unveil Lyric Video For “Bleeding Into Light” Following Release Of New EP Celestial!
Just weeks after the release of their brand-new, critically acclaimed EP Celestial on January 16 via Reigning Phoenix Music, Australian-Finnish dark metal act THE ETERNAL keep the momentum going. The band has now unveiled a lyric video for the haunting track “Bleeding Into Light,” further expanding on the EP’s emotional weight and atmospheric depth.
“Bleeding Into Light” stands out as one of the most introspective cuts on Celestial. Driven by brooding melodies, dynamic shifts, and a sense of restrained intensity, the song balances fragility and force. The accompanying lyric video mirrors that mood, pairing the words with stark, shadow-drenched visuals that underline the track’s themes of loss and inner turmoil.
Vocalist and guitarist Mark Kelson comments:
"The lyrics of “Bleeding Into Light” explore themes of grief, deception, and the struggle for redemption amid despair. Set against a backdrop of hollow spirits and shattered visions, the song portrays a soul trapped in mourning and isolation, burdened by disgrace yet yearning for transformation. The repeated plea of “bleeding into light” reflects both suffering and a desperate desire to transcend deceit and defeat, suggesting that healing can only come through painful confrontation with truth. Ultimately, it captures the tension between being consumed by shadows of loss and the relentless drive to break free into renewal and change."
Following the success of their 2024 album Skinwalker, the band's new EP Celestial sees THE ETERNAL continue their signature fusion of melancholic atmospheres, doom-laden heaviness, and progressive depth. The progressive gothic metal collective once again delivers an emotive and cinematic journey through sound and spirit, unafraid to embrace both beauty and bleakness while charting new creative horizons.
With Mark Kelson (vocals/guitars) and Richie Poate (guitars) in Melbourne, joined by Niclas Etelävuori (bass, ex-Amorphis/Flat Earth) and Jan Rechberger (drums, Amorphis) in Helsinki, THE ETERNAL have solidified themselves as a truly international collaboration. Their music resonates with fans of acts such as Katatonia, Swallow the Sun, and Anathema - dark yet luminous, heavy yet emotionally transcendent!
Celestial is available digitally and as a limited, eco-friendly recycled vinyl LP edition (exclusively available through the band’s official store and the RPM shop). Order your favorite choice of format at this location: https://theeternal.rpm.link/celestialPR
