Vicious Rumors Announce U.S. 2026 Tour + Release "Abusement Park" Video

U.S. metal band VICIOUS RUMORS have released the video for "Abusement Park" today. The song is taken from the latest studio album The Devil's Asylum

Watch the video Below.

Founder and guitar player Geoff Thorpe says, "In your face! Catchy riffs! Blistering solos, with a heavy metal and punk rock attitude! The new Vicious Rumors single 'Abusement Park' from The Devil's Asylum album has the band at the top of its craft! The idea of a nightmare theme park gone horror that is 'Abusement Park' came together during a recording session for the new album with me and Jimmie Evans. 'Abusement Park' is the fourth single from our current album The Devil's Asylum.

"The song is one of many standout tracks on the album. Filmed on location in Germany, Sweden, Florida and Kentucky and edited by Ingo Spörl. We thought this song had great potential with its machine gun guitars and kick drums with a melodic and harmony filled chorus in true Vicious Rumors style...after being forced to push back the tours due to my broken shoulder the guys and I are looking forward to getting the band back on the road. So come and celebrate Heavy Metal with us performing classics, deep cuts and new album tracks live worldwide in 2026."

The Devil's Asylum was released on August 29 worldwide (except Japan) through Steamhammer as CD digipak, LP version, download, and stream HERE.

Capsize Share "Under a Hollow Sky" Lyric Video

In late 2025, Capsize announced their return with "The Fracture," their first release since signing to Roux & Ruin Records

The band drops another new track — this time with "Under a Hollow Sky." Watch the lyric video below.

"With the release of this new single, we're opening another window into what we've been building without revealing the full picture just yet," says singer Daniel Wand. "Cody Stewart (Falling In Reverse, nothing, nowhere) helped bring the production to the finish line on this one, and we're excited about where things are quietly headed."

After several years of sporadic single drops, Capsize fans can look forward to a new physical release, on deck for 2026, with more details to be revealed shortly. The next release will be the band's first since A Reintroduction: The Essence Of All That Surrounds Me, which arrived in 2016 via Equal Vision Records.

There is even more to come from Capsize.

The Veer Union Drop New Single

Canadian metalcore outfit The Veer Union return with their powerful new single "Venom In My Veins," offering another intense glimpse into their upcoming album Reinvention, set for release on February 20.

Driven by massive hooks, gritty guitar work, and the unmistakable vocal presence of frontman Crispin Earl, "Venom In My Veins" blends raw aggression with emotional weight. The track captures The Veer Union at their most focused and personal — balancing modern metalcore intensity with the band’s signature hard-rock songwriting, resulting in a song that hits hard while remaining deeply relatable.

Following a series of strong releases that have steadily shaped the narrative of Reinvention, the new single continues to underline the album’s core theme: transformation through adversity. Rather than reinventing themselves for the sake of change, The Veer Union refine everything that defines them — heavier, sharper, and more honest than ever before.

With Reinvention arriving on February 20, 2026, The Veer Union are building toward one of the most defining chapters of their career. "Venom In My Veins" stands as another clear statement of intent: this is a band fully in control of their sound, their message, and their momentum.

Lionheart Release New Album

California hardcore powerhouse Lionheart have officially entered full domination mode with the release of their new album Valley Of Death II, cementing one of the most aggressive and effective album campaigns modern hardcore has seen in years.

Musically, Valley Of Death II delivers exactly what its title promises. Crushing grooves, merciless riffs, and commanding gang shouts collide with an even darker, heavier, and more confrontational atmosphere than its predecessor. Serving as the long-awaited sequel to their 2019 fan favorite, the album finds Lionheart fully locked in, focused, and firing on all cylinders — a band that knows exactly who they are and how hard they want to hit.

Freshly released via Arising Empire, Valley Of Death II is not about reinvention, but escalation. One track after another underlines why Lionheart have reclaimed their position at the top of modern hardcore and why the response to this release cycle has been nothing short of overwhelming.

To complete this massive chapter, Lionheart will return to Europe in January 2026 for a huge headline tour, joined by hardcore royalty Madball, metalcore heavyweights Gideon, and German crossover force Slope.

From the first comeback blow to the final album drop, Lionheart make one thing unmistakably clear: this era isn’t about survival — it's about total domination.

ZP Theart (ex-DragonForce, ex-Skid Row) Has An Anniversary Gift for Fans

Iconic metal vocalist ZP Theart has officially released a special 20th anniversary cover of the power metal anthem "Through the Fire and Flames." Watch it below.

Commemorating two decades to the day since the release of the original recording, Theart describes the release as a heartfelt gift to the fans who have supported his journey since the 2000s.

For this project, Theart entrusted producer and multi-instrumentalist Syndrone with a full sonic overhaul. Syndrone provided the revamped core instrumentation, setting the stage for a masterclass in modern guitar. In a nod to the song's legendary difficulty, rising guitar stars Sophie Burrell and Bradley Hall deliver jaw- dropping guest solos, weaving their own technical fury into the song's framework.

"This song changed so many lives, along with my own, and I thought it was time to give it a proper re-visit," says Theart. "Working with Syndrone to modernize the sound while having Sophie and Bradley add their incredible styles was the perfect way to celebrate this 20 year milestone."

He continues, "Revisiting this song after twenty years is about honoring the incredible energy the fans have kept alive since the very beginning. I wanted to stay true to that spirit while also pushing the sound forward. Working with Syndrone, Sophie, and Bradley brought that same intensity, but with a new perspective for what comes next."

The anniversary single is available now on all major streaming platforms.

BLACK SEA OF TREES Announce New Single "Visions of A Crimson Moon".

Melbourne-based progressive metal band BLACK SEA OF TREES have revealed their new single "Visions of a Crimson Moon".

"Visions of a Crimson Moon" occupies a central position within this narrative. The song marks the first moment of uncertainty for the protagonist. A prophetic dream reveals a cosmic serpent and visions of a kingdom exposed under crimson moonlight. The landscape is shown as barren and built on destruction, with temples of bone beneath a sky dominated by a black hole. The vision introduces doubt that continues to shape the remainder of the album.

Musically, the track unfolds as a long-form progression defined by shifting dynamics and tonal contrast. Structured passages dissolve into atmospheric meditation before reforming into heavy, technical climaxes. Rolling percussion, layered guitars, and cyclical lead motifs establish a sense of motion and inevitability. A recurring note-bending guitar phrase introduces a circular, gravitational feel that becomes a key motif later in the album.

About BLACK SEA OF TREES:
Based out of Melbourne and Victoria in Australia, the progressive metal ensemble composes their music around the narrative of their releases. BLACK SEA OF TREES formed in 2018. The debut album, The Spiritual Beast, materialized in the spring of 2023. The band's forthcoming sophomore full-length is an exploration of spirituality, folklore and philosophy, with death metal, folk and ambient elements incorporated into the soundscapes. "A Red Dawn" marks the beginning of this next chapter for BLACK SEA OF TREES, introducing this next album's concept: the protagonist is chosen by god to overthrow an old kingdom in a spiritual revolution. It's a narrative that is heavily influenced by the Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, Akhenaten and his life’s journey.

BLACK SEA OF TREES bring to life their themes and concepts through dark atmospheric tones, strong full voiced melodies, falsetto and deep growls. With songs ranging from intense 8-minute long walls of sound to 3-minute atmospheric/acoustic passages, BLACK SEA OF TREES draw inspiration from the likes of OPETH, KATATONIA, CULT OF LUNA, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, and KARNIVOOL. A wide array of styles is entwined into the outfit's distinctive and compelling sound.

BLACK SEA OF TREES is:
Samuel Exton - Vocals/Guitar
Jan Schotting - Drums

Chris Schwinghamer - Lead Guitar

Black Veil Brides Kick Off 2026 with "Certainty"// New Song + Music Video Out Now

Black Veil Brides  comprised of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma — are ushering in the new year with the release of their dynamic and emotionally charged anthem, "Certainty," delivered with a powerful music video.

The single will appear on the band's upcoming album — due for release via Spinefarm later this year — and is available now on all digital service providers HERE.

"The concept of 'Certainty' is central to this record and appears throughout the album," explains Biersack. "The song was inspired by the film Conclave, particularly its reflections on religious certainty and how rigid belief systems can become prisons of our own making. When certainty hardens, curiosity, growth, and the willingness to change become impossible. Much of today's political and social discourse exists inside these echo chambers of absolute belief, and that tension drives the narrative of this record."

To coincide with the release, Black Veil Brides have unveiled a striking new music video for "Certainty," directed by George Gallardo Kattah (Chelsea Wolfe, Maneskin) and filmed while the band was on tour in Colombia. Featuring stunning cinematography and an intensity reminiscent of an A24 motion picture, the video mirrors the song's themes. Further, it exemplifies the bold visual identity Black Veil Brides have cultivated throughout their career.

The music video can be seen below.

Biersack adds, "This was the final song written and recorded for the album. It started from an idea Jake sent over, and it came together quickly over the course of a few days. It felt essential both narratively and musically, capturing the overall tone of what we’re aiming for. The music video, directed by George Gallardo Kattah and his team in Bogotá, Colombia, is one of our favorites we’ve ever done. His interpretation of fear and pride as biblical twins is stunning, and the visuals are incredible."

More information on Black Veil Brides seventh studio album will be available soon.

Like their band name suggests, Black Veil Brides evoke transcendent visions of an impenetrable hereafter, intermingling with a steely focus on the dark passions and elusive mysteries of the here and now. A romantic fantasy first summoned in a small town by founder Andy Biersack – a creative who was fascinated with death rock, theatricality, and monsters (both real and imagined). It wasn't until moving to Los Angeles that the unstoppable force the band is currently became finalized. The band's (and its other members Jake Pitts, Jinxx, Lonny Eagleton, Christian Coma) Instagram and Twitter accounts command close to 12 million followers between them. The Phantom Tomorrow, the group's last full-length album, went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. Their last single "Bleeders" — through their new label home Spinefarm — propelled them to the top of the Active Rock radio charts. In the hearts and minds of their fans, the band represents an unwillingness to compromise and a resistance to critics (personal and professional). Fueled by the same fire as the group's own heroes, the iconoclasts whose creative output, once dismissed, is now canonized. Now after 15 years of leading the BVB Army, the next phase of Black Veil Brides begins with a joyful "Hallelujah" and a definite sense of "Certainty."

Out Now From Redivider - Sounds Of Malice

REDIVIDER, a death metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, presents their debut full-length album Sounds of Malice, a concentrated expression of aggression, narrative depth, and old school brutality fused with modern execution. Formed in early 2021 by Jacob Spencer and Paul Nunavath, REDIVIDER was built with a singular intent: to write crushing death metal rooted in the atmosphere of the 1990s Florida scene while expanding on those foundations with contemporary precision and weight. Joined by Jake Atha and Alexander Farrington, the band forged their identity through live performance and focused songwriting, culminating in an album that reflects both their influences and their evolution.

Sounds of Malice opens with "Quartered and Devoured", a violent and immediate introduction to the record. The track pulls from Dungeons & Dragons mythology, portraying a ritualistic execution of a savage race by divine decree. The music is relentless and hook-laden, prioritizing tension, groove, and a sense of fury that refuses to let up. This track was chosen to lead the album for its visceral energy and capacity to immediately strike the listener.

The title track "Sounds of Malice" follows, drawing from a character created by Spencer for a campaign he never got to play. Told from the perspective of an evil wizard addicted to a substance called Liquid Pain, the song balances morbid fantasy with deeply structured guitar work. The dual solos from Nunavath are a highlight, combining melodic phrasing with unhinged dissonance. It is both personal and grotesque, a reflection of the band’s creative range.

"Shackled to Existence" is the album’s longest and most introspective piece. Originating from an idea by original drummer Tyler Lewis, it deals with the inevitability of death and the emptiness of existence. The track journeys through dynamic shifts, intricate harmonies, and a guitar solo that mirrors the emotional despair embedded in the lyrics. It showcases the band's ability to slow the pace without sacrificing impact.

In "Apocalyptic Waste", REDIVIDER offers their take on global ruin, inspired by the Book of Elder Evils from D&D lore. The song is structured to depict an unfolding disaster, beginning with chaos and closing in desolation. The drumming and riffing here lean into the modern death metal playbook while staying grounded in groove, reflecting both destruction and aftermath.

"Fratricide" continues the mythological thread, drawing inspiration from the Elder Scrolls universe. It recounts a cosmic battle between divine brothers over a goddess, resulting in the violent birth of existence itself. The music reflects that chaos through shifting rhythms and dissonant layers while still delivering heavy, crushing sections that ground the narrative in sonic weight.

"Bask in the Rot" moves into monster territory, a tribute to the Gelatinous Cube reimagined as a sentient mass of sewage and death. The band wrote the instrumental parts around Spencer’s vocal rhythm, resulting in a track that drags and smothers, matching the grotesque nature of the subject matter. Influenced by "Where the Slime Lives", it is slow, grinding, and impossible to ignore.

The album concludes with "Left to Rot", a hymn of devotion from the undead to Orcus, Lord of the Undead. One of the earliest songs written by the band, it encapsulates the themes present throughout the record. The arrangement grows from a heavy groove into a dramatic finale that resolves the tension built across the album. It is an appropriate end for a record that began with violent resistance to the gods and closes with a prayer for apocalyptic release.

Recorded at Round Table Recording Company and Michael Kent O’Bryan Studio, mixed by guitarist Paul Nunavath and mastered by Dan Swano at Unisound, Sounds of Malice captures REDIVIDER's live energy and commitment to authentic performance. The band wrote these songs with the stage in mind, crafting moments of impact, tension, and catharsis. Every song exists to be felt physically, with riffs meant to be remembered and choruses meant to incite chaos.

Though Sounds of Malice does not follow a strict concept, its cohesion comes from atmosphere and intention. From the first note to the last, REDIVIDER seeks to overwhelm the listener with stories of death, decay, addiction, ritual, and myth. The band channels their influences, from CANNIBAL CORPSE and MORBID ANGEL to DEATH and GORGUTS, not as a template, but as a foundation to build upon. This album is not a tribute. It is a statement of purpose. REDIVIDER has crafted a debut that is punishing, articulate, and unflinchingly true to the spirit of death metal.

About REDIVIDER:

REDIVIDER is a death metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed in 2021 by vocalist Jacob Spencer and guitarist Paul Nunavath. Joined by guitarist Jake Atha and bassist Alexander Farrington, the band draws influence from the early Florida death metal scene and bands like CANNIBAL CORPSE, MORBID ANGEL, DEATH, and GORGUTS. With a sound rooted in old school brutality and layered with modern aggression, REDIVIDER combines guttural vocals, dissonant riffs, and relentless groove to create music that is both violent and immersive.

The band made their live debut in 2022 and quickly gained recognition in the underground scene, sharing stages with acts such as CREEPING DEATH, CRYPTA, MASACRE, COGNITIVE, and SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY. Their debut album Sounds of Malice is a conceptually rich, sonically punishing record that blends fantasy-driven storytelling with crushing heaviness. Written with live performance in mind, REDIVIDER’s music thrives on tension, rhythm, and unapologetic intensity, death metal built to be felt as much as heard.

  • Jacob Spencer – Vocals

  • Paul Nunavath – Guitar

  • Jake Atha – Guitar

We already had the wonderful cover shots that our photographer, Jane Stuart, had taken throughout the process of both releases, and I remember as a kid just loving the idea of a vinyl record with images on the actual vinyl! It was a no brainer, and a truly wonderful way to close out that chapter with a tip of the hat to Ozzy and the two amazing songs that we did together. I will always be able to watch that video of GODS, when Steve Stevens and I are belly laughing with Ozzy in the studio and hold that close as a treasured memory.”

NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS Return With “Left To Die,” A Gore-Soaked Death Metal Stomp

Death metal maniacs NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS are back in full blood-drenched form with their new single, “Left To Die,” a crushing mid-tempo bruiser taken from the forth coming EP Zombie Blood Nightmare, arriving February 20, 2026.

“Left To Die” is a straight-ahead stomp fest rooted in classic 1990s death metal, drawing clear influence from the pit-driving grooves of OBITUARY. Built on thick riffs and head-crushing momentum, the track culminates in a ripping end-of-song guitar solo from former MEGADETH shredder Jeff Young, adding a sharp flash of old-school virtuosity to the carnage.

Lyrically, “Left To Die” keeps things simple and gloriously vile. The song tells the story of being abandoned in a gore pit, surrounded by blood and guts and facing an inevitable end. No metaphors and no apologies. Blood and guts are fun.

NECRONOMICON EX MORTIS return with a fiery vengeance on Zombie Blood Nightmare, a new EP that finds the band at their most unhinged. Across six blood-soaked songs, the band pushes hard to recapture the glory days of 1990s death metal, blending horror, violence, and undead absurdity into a relentless riff-driven assault. This is NEM fully committed to terror, stupidity, and the raw spirit of the genre.

“Left To Die” serves as a blunt and bloody introduction to what Zombie Blood Nightmare delivers in full. Heavy, grotesque, and unapologetic.

Deathcore Act SARCOMA Unleash Video For "Ahora Voy Yo"

Ecuador's SARCOMA have unveiled the ferocious new single "Ahora Voy Yo" with an accompanying music video. The deathcore ensemble obliterates with unyielding heaviness, explosive riffs and brutal gutturals.

Released via Valley of the Death, "Ahora Voy Yo", which translates to "Now I Go", is the first single to land ahead of the bands forthcoming full-length album set to arrive later in 2026.

"Ahora Voy Yo" addresses the issue of integrity. It forces artists to confront their egos and their authenticity. "The whole song revolves around the deep regret of long time procrastination and unbalanced ego, when confronted by the urge to prove oneself and grow as long as we live." The band explain. "All audio samples in the song come from 'Ratas, Ratones, Rateros', a hugely successful 1999 Ecuadorian movie, from director Sebastián Cordero. The spoken lines allude to a dead body, which in the lyrical setting is metaphorical, as an underachiever is better off dead."

The new single, "Ahora Voy Yo", produced by Juan Pablo Flores, was recorded at Valley of the Death recording studio, with mixing and mastering by Juan Pablo Rivas.

About SARCOMA:
SARCOMA is the first Spanish-language deathcore band in the world. Formed in Quito, Ecuador, in 2006, the quartet launched their debut EP Silenciosa Tortura independently that same year. 2016 brought a hiatus until seven years later, in 2023, original members Santiago Romero and Juan Pablo Flores returned to write new music, now joined by Andrés Jaramo (drums) and Andrés Éguez (bass).

During SARCOMA's first incarnation, following the first EP, the band released the debut, self-titled full-length album in 2008 with the Esclavitud del Siglo XXI EP arriving in 2013. The band embarked on a heavy national and international touring schedule in neighboring countries.

SARCOMA's unmistakable style, technical precision, and impressive live performances led them to be considered, by the media and the public alike, as the undisputed "fathers of deathcore" in South America. In early-mid noughties, the band's unique mix of hardcore and death metal elements was something unheard of in the country at the time.

The band's sound draws influence from the likes of DECAPITATED, DYING FETUS, KNOCKED LOOSE, SEPULTURA, DESPISED ICON, GOJIRA, with the addition of progressive elements and a thematic focus on their life experiences and environment of Latin America.

2023 saw the band return with renewed vigor and intent unleashing the EP Mesak, the live releases Al Rojo Vivo and En Vivo En Quito in 2024, and "Divino Poder" single in 2025, all via Valley of the Death. SARCOMA wasted no time returning to the live stage in 2023 venturing on the Mesak Ecuador National Tour, along with performances at Mechanimal Fest and Quitofest.

Mayhem Drop "Life Is a Corpse You Drag" Video

Mayhem, the defining pioneers of black metal return with their seventh studio album, Liturgy of Death.

With this release, Mayhem further solidify their standing as one of the most unyielding forces in extreme music. Now more than four decades into their career, they turn their focus toward the unavoidable presence of mortality.

Liturgy of Death explores the philosophy of mortality with stark, uncompromising clarity. The album presents death not as an ending, but as a universal law that touches all life and exposes the fragility of human existence. This impermanence becomes a call to live with full intensity, for every gain and loss ultimately falls back into the same silence. Echoing ancient philosophies, the album portrays life as a transitional state and death as a gateway to a higher form of being, while the solemn, dark beauty of death permeates the entire work.

Stream new single "Life Is a Corpse You Drag" HERE.

Mayhem's Attila comments on the new track, "'Life Is a Corpse You Drag' is not a slogan, but a ritual and a realization. It names an ancient law: Consciousness as burden, the body as vessel, faith as a seal on a grave already closed. There is no comfort in this recognition but there is release. If we have been dead all along, there is nothing left to lose. What remains is pure energy: Movement without fear, presence without compromise, a victorious march into the final destruction."

Pre-order Liturgy of Death HERE.

With Necrobutcher, Hellhammer, Attila, Morten Bergeton Iversen, and Ghul locked into a unit tighter than ever, Liturgy of Death celebrates Mayhem's own legacy, a continuation of the raw and uncompromising sound that defined their beginnings. The result is a merciless record — dark, fast, and unrelenting — that captures the band in their most dangerous and vital form. 41 years since their formation in Langhus, Mayhem remain a defining force in Norwegian black metal, continuing to shape the sound they helped create.

It is exactly what guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor and bandmates Christopher Dean (bass) and Tyler Joseph (drums) have achieved on Live And Uncleansed.

Recorded over seven nights in July and August 2025, they are now ready to present 11 powerful live songs, plus three live bonus tracks, all pure and unadulterated, authentic and honest, which is the reason why the result is so incredibly captivating.

"We were really well rehearsed, this is truly a live (!) record, everything is as is," explains Victor, proudly adding: "You can hear some of the little mistakes here and there, but that makes it cool!"

A RETURN TO WIDE OPEN WONDER: HUNTERGIRL RELEASES “SOMEWHERE WILD” — OUT NOW

With “Somewhere Wild,” out today via 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, HunterGirl steps into 2026 with a song that feels like stepping barefoot into cold creek water and remembering who you used to be. Written with Jeff Garrison and Bob DiPiero, the track is a slow burning, windswept release built on the urge to slip away from the noise, touch the earth again, and follow the quiet pull of a freedom you can feel long before you can name it. Listen Below.

Anchored by a steady, heartbeat pulse and lifted by Dobro and pedal steel that move like shifting light through trees, the song leans into the cinematic sweep of open country. HunterGirl’s unmistakable voice carries both grit and vulnerability, turning the melody into a compass and the chorus into a reminder that somewhere out there is the place that sets your soul back on fire.

“‘Somewhere Wild’ was a song that just fell out in the writing room. It was exactly where my heart was at the beginning of this year. When I was little, my Grandpa had a place by the creek he called The Wilderness. He made it magical. You had to say The Wilderness three times before running through the woods with my sister and cousins, and for a moment it felt like anything could happen.

As you get older, those words, ‘anything can happen,’ start to mean something very different. The unknown becomes a scary place to be. This year I felt like I was back in The Wilderness, but this time I was lost in it.

‘Somewhere Wild’ became my way back. It was a journey of finding myself again and reigniting that spark of endless possibility. It is a reminder that it is never too late to grow, and that sometimes being lost is what leads you home.”

– HunterGirl

“Somewhere Wild” follows “Dirt,” which arrived last fall and struck a chord with fans for its rich, small town imagery and grounding sense of home. It adds to the growing momentum HunterGirl has built through a steady run of releases, including her acclaimed Tennessee Girl EP, each one further establishing her voice as a natural storyteller. Along the way, she has earned 80 million global streams, a Grand Ole Opry debut to a standing ovation, and received praise from People, CMT, and MusicRow, who hailed her as “a major, major new talent.” With tours alongside Luke Bryan and Kimberly Perry, HunterGirl continues to build a career defined by heart, honesty, and an unmistakable point of view, all of which converge on “Somewhere Wild.”

About HunterGirl

HunterGirl is a luminous and emotionally grounded songwriter rooted in Tennessee storytelling. Onstage since she was three and writing songs by nine, she built her career the old school way, playing honky tonks across the Southeast while working with veterans nonprofits including Operation Song, Freedom Sings, and A Soldier’s Child, helping service members turn their stories into songs. She rose to national attention as the runner up on American Idol, earning praise from judge Luke Bryan, who called her the “new age Miranda Lambert” and his “favorite female Country voice.” Since then, HunterGirl has amassed nearly 80 million global streams, made her Grand Ole Opry debut to standing ovations, and toured with Luke Bryan and Kimberly Perry, all while solidifying her reputation as a natural storyteller with a compelling point of view. Her Tennessee Girl EP showcased both range and heart, highlighted by fan favorites “Bad Boy” and “Ain’t About You,” and her release “Dirt” resonated widely for its vivid small-town imagery and emotional truth. Now, in 2026, HunterGirl unveils “Somewhere Wild,” a slow burning, windswept anthem that rekindles the sense of wide-open wonder she first felt exploring The Wilderness as a child. With a voice that feels both lived in and full of light, she continues to carve her own lane as one of country music’s most compelling new artists.

The Laughing Hyenas Announce New Anthology That Girl: Live Recordings 1986-1994 Out February 20th

If ever a band deserved an LP of live material, it’s the Laughing Hyenas. As Wolf Eyes’ Aaron Dilloway so eloquently put it, “The Laughing Hyenas were the scariest band I have ever seen.”

Though the band recorded three blistering LPs and an array of singles and EPs – much of which was reissued by Third Man in 2028 - before calling it a day, their true legacy lies in their brutal, unforgiving live performances, including countless headline runs, tours alongside Sonic Youth and Killdozer, and myriad college radio sessions across the country. That Girl – Live Recordings 1986-1994 now serves as a long overdue reminder of the Laughing Hyenas’s orgiastic power and one-of-a-kind gale-force fury.

TX2 Drops New Single "Murder Scene" Featuring Magnolia Park

Alt-rock phenom, TX2 has today released "Murder Scene," the second single from his debut album End Of Us, arriving February 13 via Hopeless Records. The track features Magnolia Park and marks a reciprocal collaboration between two of the new generation's most buzzed-about emo acts.

"Magnolia Park and I have been friends for years now, and since they had me featured on a song, it seemed only right to invite them to collab on this track," says Evan Thomas (TX2). "The song 'Murder Scene' dives into the story of our album, with Josh playing a different character introduced in the last act. We are both in two of the biggest upcoming emo bands of the new generation, this is the perfect collaboration to me."

"Murder Scene" uses gothic horror imagery to explore the intersection of relationship betrayal and mental health crisis. Set in a haunted motel with ghosts and shadows, the track transforms the fear of abandonment into a theatrical nightmare, capturing the paranoia and isolation of hitting rock bottom alone. The single continues the narrative arc established by the album's title track "The End of Us feat Black Veil Brides," a six-minute epic that dropped in December alongside the album announcement.

TX2 also surprise-dropped a music video for previously released track, "The Rain" in December while supporting Ice Nine Kills on their UK and European arena tour. The animated video, inspired by PS2-era survival horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, was created in collaboration with animator @fersetid_ and bridges the visual storyline between TX2's "FEED" and "The End of Us" music videos. ICYMI, you can watch The video for "The Rain" below.

With 1 million monthly Spotify listeners and 1.3 million TikTok followers, TX2 has built one of alternative music's most devoted and polarizing fanbases through relentless touring and the X Movement, a Discord-based mental health community. His debut album End Of Us arrives February 13, 2026 via Hopeless Records and features collaborations with Black Veil Brides, Magnolia Park, DeathbyRomy, Ekoh, and Ice Nine Kills' Spencer Charnas.

TX2 already has a stacked touring schedule for 2026. Beginning with their US 'End of Us' Headline tour beginning in February, they then head to Australia with Rain City Drive in March, followed by a stellar European festival run including Download Festival, Rock AM Ring, Rock Im Park, Rock For People, Novarock, Graspop, Jera On Air and Vainstream.

ABOUT TX2

TX2 has spent years earning co-signs from scene veterans. Beartooth's Caleb Shomo has publicly praised his "passion, hard work, and talent", his track "MAD" featuring Ice Nine Kills' Spencer Charnas generated over 10,000 TikTok video creations and From First to Last joined him on "THIS ISN'T ABOUT DRUGS (I SWEAR)."

His upcoming debut album, 'End Of Us' (due out February 13th via Hopeless Records) collects previously released singles alongside new material, including recent tracks "The Rain," "HOSTAGE (they will not erase us)," "Feed" featuring DeathbyRomy, and "Nice Guy" featuring Ekoh. Between them, these previously released songs have racked up a staggering 100 million streams, 42 million likes on TikTok and 1 million monthly Spotify listeners in the last 12 months. The upcoming album features a further collaborations with Magnolia Park and an instrumental version of TX2's track with Ice Nine Kills' Spencer Charnas, "M.A.D".

Beyond the music, TX2 has built something even more impressive: the X Movement, a Discord-based community where thousands of fans support each other through mental health struggles. He goes live on social media to answer fan questions every day and stays after every show, sometimes for hours, to meet every fan. He keeps ticket prices low and uses his platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and fan safety in music spaces. It's work that's made him both a target and a lifeline, depending on who's watching.

End Of Us captures all of it. The noise, the defiance, the exhaustion, and the refusal to quit. Thomas describes the album's sound as "punk meets vampire-core with an Eminem edge," drawing from influences like My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Black Veil Brides, and Linkin Park while carving out space that's entirely his own and elevating the genre, and it’s fandom, to a new level.. His debut album End Of Us arrives February 13, 2026 via Hopeless Records.
