Texas-based electronic artist PARIS MUSIC CORP. releases sophomore 'Ecotone' album

Texas-based electronic and ambient composer Paris Music Corp. a.k.a. John Andrew Paris presents  his latest electronic odyssey 'Ecotone', a futuristic trip, along with a video for the track 'Rituals'. A deeply personal and geographically-inspired exploration, this record is rooted in the artist's return to his childhood home in South Texas, just miles from the border and a stone's throw to the coast.

Originally from Austin, John Andrew Paris has spent decades creating music and collaborating with artists, including Arthur Brown (The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, perhaps best known for his hit single 'Fire'), as well as DJ Rev Kathy Russell, DJ Lucas Ray, Catastrophe Ballet, Le Reve, Life's Eyes, Beast of Eden, OBOYO and Don Wigwam.

"After relocating Paris Music Corp. to Brownsville, TX, it became apparent that wildlife and nature in general were at the forefront with living on the border of Mexico next to the sea. The 'Ecotone' album made sense to me because you have a transitional zone, where two different ecological communities or ecosystems meet and intermingle, often resulting in high biodiversity,” says John Andrew Paris.

"I feel a lot closer to nature. The wildlife even comes into my yard - armadillos, snakes, ducks and birds of every kind, including parrots. Also tree frogs that are only known to exist in this subtropical climate. I am close to a birding center and a fish hatchery as well, so all of this has inspired me. I am 2.8 miles from the Mexican border and close to the Gulf of Mexico. Some of my song titles reflect where I am. I actually lived in this area as a child and have come back to my roots."

Known for his cinematic and ethereal music, on this album, Paris Music Corp.'s music also shows its dark underbelly and futuristic imagination. Often with elements of 80’s darkwave and ambient soundscapes, his trademark sound includes heavily processed guitar and bass instruments locked into layered loops and further manipulated using software. Also employing live hand percussion, these dense soundscapes take the listener on a sonic journey to otherworldly places.

"This album was inspired by my new surroundings and the hyper close relationship to nature and the Mexican border. Ecotone is described as a transitional area between 2 distinct ecological communities - like my area which is the Rio Grande River and the Gulf of Mexico. What you also have is 2 cultures in Mexican and the American and how those have produced a culture of their own," says John Paris.

Earlier, Paris Music Corp. shared the lead track 'No Soy A.I.'featuring the searing Spanish vocals of fellow Texan musician, writer and actor RayPerez. In a world increasingly dominated by the cold, calculated logic of artificial intelligence, this dark slab of swirling electro casts a sonic challenge to the algorithmic chill of our times and the only track on this album with vocals. This song also addresses the coldness of some of AI’s tendencies, such as people already having AI girlfriends and boyfriends.

In 2022, Paris Music Corp. released his self-titled album, after taking hiatus for half a decade following the release of his debut album 'Rewind' in 2017.  Fast forward to autumn 2025 - now Paris is ready to release the next collection of his electronic adventures, having  written, recorded, mixed and mastered this full album at Tarantula Studios throughout 2024 and 2025.

Influenced by the likes of Mick Karn, Pink Floyd, Gary Numan, Tim Hecker, Casino Versus Japan and Miles Davis, John Andrew Paris has also scored 2 independent films - the documentary 'Andy Paris: Bubble Gum King', also released as an album, and the short horror film 'Spectral Wind'. He has also created a clever electronic rework of 'Lord of the Dance' for the Austin Christmas Collection Album.

As of October 24, the 'Ecotone' album is available from digital platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp.

Thrash Metal Outfit NUKEM Debut Performance Video for Furious New Single, "Random Acts of Violence"

California has always been fertile ground for thrash metal, leading the charge with some of the genre's most legendary acts. San Diego's NUKEM follows in the footsteps of thrash metal's founding fathers, producing the kind of time-tested, neck-breaking thrash that invokes deep nostalgia while still sounding fresh and modern.

Now, the thrashers have not only forged a new union with the label Redefining Darkness, but they are now unleashing a raucous new single, "Random Acts of Violence," which also features a guest guitar solo from Russ Tippins of the band Satan. The track is now available along with a visceral performance video that is sure to summon the kind of balls-to-the-wall, feral mosh pit that would make the late, great Paul Baloff proud. Watch the video Below.

NUKEM guitarist/vocalist Steve Brogden comments on the heavy yet important lyrical content of the song, "We are stoked to share the first single 'Random Acts of Violence' from our new record. This track is a full bore aggressive thrash metal attack that directly mirrors its lyrical content. In an age where mass shootings, stabbings & people getting beat to death in the streets for a social media challenge has become normal, It truly shows how lost we are as a society. 24 years ago, there was a shooting at my high school leaving 2 dead & 13 wounded by a 15 year old armed assailant. In almost a quarter century, things have certainly not gotten any better!”

"Random Acts of Violence" is taken from NUKEM's forthcoming sophomore full-length, for which details will soon be revealed! Stay tuned...

Nukem is a Thrash metal force from San Diego, California, that delivers an honest, old school

thrash attack. Formed in 2012, Nukem released their 2016 debut album "The Unholy Trinity",

which was mixed & mastered by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static X, Dethklok, White Zombie) and

was released via Sleaszy Rider Records out of Greece.

Nukem had entered the studio in 2024 once again with Ulrich Wild to work on our second album. Ten songs of pure molten metal! Some songs are full on unstoppable Bay Area style Thrash metal violence while others are more of a mid tempo power groove. Nukem has now forged a new union with Redefining Darkness for the release of their oncoming onslaught... stay tuned!

THE HALO EFFECT UNVEIL A POWERFUL RENDITION OF PHENOMENA'S 'DANCE WITH THE DEVIL'

Swedish melodic death metal collective THE HALO EFFECT continue to reveal tracks from their forthcoming cover EP We Are Shadows, out November 21.

Each band member has chosen a personal favorite song to reinterpret, and this time it’s guitarist Niclas Engelin’s turn. His choice: the 1985 classic 'Dance With The Devil' by the legendary “supergroup” PHENOMENA, featuring Glenn Hughes, Mel Galley (Whitesnake), and Cozy Powell, among others.

THE HALO EFFECT’s version transforms the iconic track into a crushing, melodic storm — with Mikael Stanne’s ferocious growls and the band’s trademark guitar-driven intensity breathing new life into the timeless song.

Niclas Engelin recalls the song’s lasting impact:
“I got hit by lightning in the 7th grade when I got to borrow the album by Phenomena from my friend Emil Olsen. The song Dance With The Devil struck me hard, and I recorded the whole album on cassette — which I played into dust.”

We Are Shadows will feature unique reinterpretations personally chosen by each member of THE HALO EFFECT, showcasing the diverse influences behind one of Sweden’s most acclaimed modern metal acts.

PROFANE ELEGY Declares Defiance with New Single “I Am”

Independent black metal force PROFANE ELEGY returns with their latest single, “I Am,” a blistering anthem of rebellion and self-assertion that challenges both divine authority and human limitation.

Emerging from the underground in 2023, PROFANE ELEGY began as a two-man studio vision before evolving into a full four-piece band. Though divided across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the members have built a creative bond through remote collaboration. Countless file exchanges, late-night group chats, and a shared intensity brought their upcoming full-length album Herezjarcha to life.

“I Am” draws inspiration from the Book of Exodus, where Moses demands the name of God and receives the cryptic reply, “I am that I am.” In the hands of PROFANE ELEGY, this moment of divine revelation becomes a declaration of human defiance. It is not an act of submission but one of reclamation. With searing riffs, towering percussion, and an unrelenting vocal presence, “I Am” channels raw conviction into a sonic embodiment of will and resistance.

Following their acclaimed 2023 debut When All Is Nothing, which drew praise for its fusion of atmospheric black metal and doom-laden despair, the upcoming record promises to be heavier, more dynamic, and thematically deeper. Produced by J Gulick and mastered by Kevin Antreassian (Backroom Studios), Herezjarcha embodies the band’s commitment to vision over genre purity, weaving together black, doom, death, and progressive elements with orchestral textures and philosophical lyricism.

About PROFANE ELEGY

PROFANE ELEGY is a black metal band from Bangor, Pennsylvania, formed in late 2021 by guitarist J Gulick and vocalist Mikael L. Originally conceived as a two-man studio project, the band quickly evolved into a full lineup with the addition of bassist David G and drummer Sean M in 2023. What sets PROFANE ELEGY apart is their refusal to remain confined within genre boundaries—while rooted firmly in black metal, their sound incorporates elements of death, doom, and progressive metal, often enhanced by orchestral arrangements and clean vocals.

The band’s debut album When All Is Nothing (2023) was released independently and drew attention for its blend of atmospheric aggression and emotional vulnerability. The release earned praise for its ability to move fluidly between blistering speed and melancholic melody, with Doom Heart calling it “a massive Doom delight.” Following the album’s release, PROFANE ELEGY made their live debut and began performing across the northeastern United States, including a notable support slot for Dark Funeral in late 2024.

Lyrically, the band explores themes of nihilism, mortality, philosophy, and religious symbolism, often invoking figures like Satan not as dogmatic statements, but as metaphors in a broader spiritual and existential dialogue. Their work is poetic, introspective, and often challenges the listener to confront uncomfortable truths about life, death, and belief.

Their upcoming full-length album Herezjarcha, set for release in January 2026, represents the band’s most ambitious and expansive work to date. With a more dynamic sound, deeper orchestration, and a clear conceptual throughline, the record pushes their sonic and thematic boundaries further than ever before. The album title, the Polish translation of the English word heresiarch (meaning arch-heretic), encapsulates the spirit of the band: rebellious, introspective, and unafraid to question the sacred.

PROFANE ELEGY continues to forge a unique path within the underground metal scene. Blending bleak intensity with philosophical weight, they aim not just to be heard—but to be felt.

PROFANE ELEGY is:

  • Mikael L – Vocals, Orchestration

  • J Gulick – Guitars, Orchestration

  • David G – Bass, Orchestration

  • Sean M – Drums

ALL THE DAMN VAMPIRES Announce Debut Album; Share New Single & Music Video "Last Man Standing"

Los Angeles based synthwave-meets-alternative-metal pioneers, All The Damn Vampires have dropped brand new single, "Last Man Standing", alongside a sprawling, neon-drenched visual that watches two lovers refuse to let go of eachother as Los Angeles, and everything around them, burns to the ground. The track blends vintage synthwave textures with crushing alternative metal and arrives as the first single from the project's debut album VICECORE, which the band are proud to announce is set for release February 4th, 2026. Fans can stream "Last Man Standing" HERE, watch the video Below and pre-order VICECORE on vinyl HERE.

Founded, produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by multi-instrumentalist Davey Oberlin, a longtime touring member of Korn who's also played in Winds of Plague and Five Finger Death Punch, All The Damn Vampires fuses the cinematic grandeur of John Carpenter soundtracks with the emotional heft of Type O Negative and the retro-futuristic shimmer of Daft Punk. On VICECORE, Oberlin also plays guitar, bass, and keys, while powerhouse vocalist Ryan Rose, who makes his professional debut with the project, delivers soaring, classically trained performances that cut through the project's dense, atmospheric production. Virtuoso guitarist Miles Dimitri Baker rounds out the lineup.

"Last Man Standing is where I bring synthwave and crushing alt-metal together—the retro synths meet brutal guitar chugs in a way that just makes sense," Oberlin says. "At its core, though, the song is about loyalty and love: being there for someone no matter how much they hurt you or tear the world down, and still standing strong as the one who never leaves."

The video, created by The (John) Candy entirely using AI, unfolds like a fever dream through abandoned suburban Los Angeles. Golden hour light gives way to nighttime neon as rain-soaked streets, crumbling shopping malls, and dive bars flicker under pink and blue hues. A couple reaches for each other across porches and fog-choked alleyways while the city burns in the distance. By the final frame, they're suspended above a palm tree-lined street, silhouetted against the inferno, choosing each other as everything collapses around them. It's Drive meets Grand Theft Auto meets Miami Vice, shot through with Halloween gothic romance and apocalyptic longing.

There's a DIY ethos that runs through every element of VICECORE. Recorded over 18 months, the album weaves reimagined covers of classic tracks with original songs built to stand alongside them, creating what Oberlin describes as "an album you could really get lost in driving, something that might take people back while introducing them to new vibes through modern production." The album also features contributions from synthwave producer Sunglasses Kid on the title track, plus guitar solos from virtuosos Andy James and Miles Dimitri Baker. The aesthetic draws from Miami Vice, hardcore merch culture (think Nails), and Los Angeles gang imagery, filtered through Oberlin's deep love of film soundtracks such as Blade Runner, The Lost Boys and The Goonies and a childhood spent obsessing over Type O Negative, Korn, and Alice in Chains.

All The Damn Vampires has already carved out a lane at the intersection of heavy music and visual media. The project's music appeared in cult horror film Terrifier 2, while Oberlin's collaboration with Avenged Sevenfold on a reimagined version of "Ordinary", which he produced and co-wrote, debuted via a secret Fortnite puzzle, introducing the project to an entirely unexpected audience. With over 11.7 million cross-platform streams and 2 million YouTube views to date, All The Damn Vampires continues to build a world where nostalgia can be both camp, cinematic and completely crushing, all at the same time.

ABOUT ALL THE DAMN VAMPIRES

All The Damn Vampires is more than a music project. It’s a cinematic world crafted by musician and producer Davey Oberlin. Built on a foundation of synthwave, goth metal, and cinematic sound design, the project evokes neon‑drenched cityscapes, emotional storytelling, and an unapologetic embrace of retro‑futuristic aesthetics.

Oberlin’s musical pedigree adds depth to the project. Having performed and toured with legendary acts like Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, and Winds of Plague, he brings a unique perspective that fuses heavy music sensibilities with lush, melodic synth textures. This balance of grit and atmosphere has become a hallmark of All The Damn Vampires.

The project’s reach has extended into visual media, with its music featured in films such as the cult‑favorite Terrifier 2, connecting the sound of All The Damn Vampires with horror and synthwave subcultures worldwide.

Further elevating the project, Oberlin collaborated with Avenged Sevenfold on a reimagined version of their song “Ordinary.” Serving as both producer and co‑writer, he infused their track with his distinctive sonic vision, melding synth‑pop vibrancy with the band’s powerful rock identity.

Whether crafting immersive soundscapes or collaborating with some of the biggest names in modern music, All The Damn Vampires continues to push boundaries. Delivering beautifully evocative music that’s as cinematic as it is unique and unforgettable.

BABYLON A.D. Release the Second Single and Video LOVE IS CRUEL from the New Album WHEN THE WORLD STOPS

BABYLON A.D. is excited to announce the release of the second single, LOVE IS CRUEL, from their new album WHEN THE WORLD STOPS.

Lead singer Derek Davis had this to say about the new single, “The song “Love Is Cruel” I had written a few years back but I had never shown it to the rest of the band. We were looking for a ballad for the new album and I presented it to the guys not knowing what their reaction would be due to the piano arrangement, something that we had never done before on an album.

To my happy surprise all the guys in the band instantly said yes “This is a

Killer Track Lets Do It”! The song is about how you can be completely absorbed in someone and love them so deeply, but love is so very fragile and can be taking away so easy. The memory and pain of loosing someone in your life can make you see the world in a different light and it can wake you up or shut you down, and sometimes both. “Drifting on a memory, high above the clouded skies of blue pictures play inside my head, pieces of the time I spent with you now you're waving goodbye, and I just want to die, Love Is Cruel”! It’s so true, love can be so cruel sometimes and we all share in the pain and suffering at one time or another in it this life. On a side note I would like to thank Julie Pacheco for the absolutely stunning piano playing. Eric Pacheco our bassist passed away 4 years ago and he was one of the few people I had played the song for and I feel Julie was playing out her soul for him.

Renowned NYC artist-producer Charlie Nieland presents 'Stores From the Borderlines' album & video for 'Shame', a powerful ode to queer resilience

Renowned NYC songwriter-producer Charlie Nieland presents 'Stories From The Borderlines', a dazzling and deeply personal album that explores themes of connection and severance. These cinematic soundscapes are shaped by a reverence for pioneering '80s and '90s synth and guitar-driven music. More than music, these meticulously crafted songs—a geography of intention—are an act of imaginative resistance, passionately mining for light and truth in a darkening world.

Nieland's backstory is extensive, having written, performed and produced music for decades. He has written for and produced such artists as Debbie Harry, Rufus Wainwright, Blondie and Scissor Sisters, as well as scoring the feature film 'The Safety of Objects' (with Glenn Close), Showtime's pilot episode of 'The L Word' and the VH-1documentary 'NY77: The Coolest Year in Hell'.

"This set of songs is a kaleidoscope of styles. They are luminous secret rooms that reflect one human’s heart in a world at the precipice. Staying creative is resistance. As authoritarians attack culture, they make the mistake that imagination can be controlled when it actually emerges from the bottom up. Culture is not imaginary. It’s is rooted in imagination but it’s more real than what can be measured," says Charlie Nieland.

"These songs tell stories of growing up, of how we got severed, and how we connect. I burrowed into each idea over several years that were filled with love, uncertainty and family drama. The time allowed me to create and explore sound worlds with a cinematic eye; finding contrasts in texture and time. To create an experience that shifts with each listen. These songs are a geography of intention and intuition, mining for light in a dark world. Let’s find the switch."

Nieland also presents 'Shame' with a firecracker video, directed and edited by multi-faceted NYC-based artist Hypnodoll, and filmed by Alice Teeple. Fueled by the obsessive lust and repulsion that has been weaponized against the queer community, this song explores how fascination runs like blood from all sides, our own self-loathing driving us into the unknown.

Stories From The Borderlines' is inspired by my deep love of David Bowie, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Cocteau Twins, Thomas Dolby, Love & Rockets and The Cure. I played and sang most everything here; guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion.  Besides spiritchild’s contribution, drummer Billy Loose and guitarist Dan McAssey, my musical friends of 20 years, were both pivotal in shaping these songs. It’s a joy to be collaborating with them," says Charlie Nieland.

"Keyboardist Joe McGinty (of The Psychedelic Furs, Ryan Adams, Nada Surf and many more) also contributes. I’ve gotten to know him singing in his popular NYC tribute series, The Loser’s Lounge and Joe brings the song 'Today' vividly to life with his stunning synth work."

Previewed the epic lead track 'Win' featuring Staten Island activist / rapper spiritchild and by 'The Ocean Understands' EP, released earlier this year, 'Stories From The Borderlines' presents a visceral blend of post punk, glam, dream pop and progressive rock. With sweeping melodies and restless rhythms, these unique soundscapes promise an immersive journey, showcasing Nieland's continued evolution as an artist and producer.

Nieland has established himself as an artist rich on nuanced songwriting and sonic exploration, releasing 'Ice Age' (2014), followed by 'Hopeful Monsters' (2016) and ‘Divisions' album (2021). After 20 years with Her Vanished Grace, he is half of the literature-inspired duo Lusterlit with Susan Hwang, and both produces and co-hosts the podcast 'An Embarrassment of Prog'.

Charlie Nieland was awarded a Gold record (UK) for his production work on Blondie's 'Greatest Hits Sight & Sound' and achieved a Top 10 Billboard Dance Chart Position with Debbie Harry's single 'Two Times Blue', which he co-wrote and produced.

As of October 24, 'Stories From The Borderlines' is available everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp.  On November 5, Nieland will hold his Record Release Show at Berlin Under A, with Life in a Blender and Jessie Kilguss, who is releasing her album 'They Have A Howard Johnson’s There'

The Devil Wears Prada Drop "Everybody Knows" Video

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA — Mike Hranica [vocals], Jeremy DePoyster [guitar, clean vocals], Kyle Sipress [guitar], Jonathan Gering [keys, synths, programming, percussion], and Giuseppe Capolupo [drums] — are inching closer and closer to the release of their ninth album Flowers on November 14 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it here.

They share the video for "Everybody Knows," which boasts a hook that will embed itself into your brain. The accompanying visual is performance footage but with a stunning aesthetic twist.

Watch it below.

"'Everybody Knows' is about feeling out of place- when your anxiety takes over and you can't hide it anymore," the band says. "It's that moment when you realize everyone can see you're not holding it together, but you don't know how to escape it."

lowers marks the start of an incredibly epic cycle and phase for the band. The global touring scheduling finds The Devil Wears Prada playing some of the biggest shows of their career. They recently wrapped the Summer of Loud tour, which packed amphitheaters through the summer, as well as arenas in Australia. Additionally, the single "For You" is the band's first-ever track to chart on both the Mediabase and Billboard Active Rock charts. TDWP are continuing to hit new milestones two decades into their career, proving their vitality as a career band.

The band also graces the Fall 2025 cover of Revolver. See the issue below. Get it here

TDWP have a slew of international tour dates on deck, including dates in Australia with Bullet For My Valentine; headline shows in South Africa; and a trek across Europe with Ice Nine Kills and Creeper. The band will also appear at Warped Tour in Orlando on November 15-16. The band will also embark on the Emo's Not Dead Cruise in January, as well. All tour dates are here.

New Jersey's The Melancholy Kings announce 'Victoria' single, previewing sophomore album

New Jersey rockers The Melancholy Kings present their latest single 'Victoria', a jangly guitar rocker resurrected and revamped from the time when the band members were busy wearing down the grooves of their REM, Miracle Legion and Replacements records. As the story goes, we all have our demons, and it’d be nice if we could all help each other exorcise them. This is the second taste of their sophomore album 'Her Favorite Disguise', released via Magic Door Record Label.

The core duo, singer/guitarist Mike Potenza (The Anderson Council, Crash Harmony, BARD, Gramercy Arms) and bassist Scott Selig (Ambulance, Uncle Moon, Deni Bonet Band, Super Tuesday), met while enduring the desolate misery of corporate life in a Midtown Manhattan law firm. Unknown to each other, they both had a secret past as musicians in the '90s and '00s NYC indie scene, having played in various "almost-famous" post-punk bands and toured as opening acts for legends. Escaping corporate misery, they rededicated themselves to music, solidifying the lineup with drummer Paul Andrew (Fluffer, Phantom Tollbooth) and guitarist Peter Horvath (The Anderson Council).

"Victoria was inspired by the party scene of the late 80’s, where it seemed to me people were alternately depressed or manic a lot of the time and not in that happy middle. I thought it would be nice if we could all settle down a bit, slow life down a tick or two and enjoy the little things together.  That was the impetus," says Michael Potenza.

"We resurrected it when we started working on 'Her Favorite Disguise' by reworking some of the more dated lyrics (when we wrote the song, for instance, it was a pre-cell phone time so the first line about “staring into your phone” and an “app for demonology” was added later). The song is a bit of a time capsule to a guitar-forward, jangly, power pop time, but I do think the essential message — that we all have inner demons that could use some mutual kindness to exorcise — carries forward.

'Her Favorite Disguise' is the long-awaited follow up to their eponymous debut record - an unapologetic nod to the rough-hewn insouciance of '80s pre-grunge alt-rock. This album was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by renowned producer Ray Ketchem (Guided by Voices, Luna, Elk City, Gramercy Arms, Crash Harmony) at Magic Door Recording Studio.

“I think this song captures our live sound more thoroughly than any other on the album.  Other than a dash of organ at the end, and guest vocalist Olivia Selig adding some thickening to the harmonies in the choruses, there are basically no other enhancements to the song.  I think the raw energy of our live set really comes across as a result. The video starts and ends with the band discussing the song and the take, giving the viewer a taste of our process in the studio.  This song probably has the least amount of overdubs than any on the album, so the video captured nearly its entire recording,” says Scott Selig.

Earlier, the band shared 'Bitcoin Elegy', a guitar-driven single about the inevitable decline of meaningful personal relationships in the digital age. Joined by vocalist Olivia Selig, this song is not actually an elegy about the famed king of cryptos, the song references Bitcoin as a noted marker for the post-analog world, the elegy here being specifically about the loss of interpersonal community.

The coming album features several guests, including Mac Gollehon (David Bowie, Al Jarreau, Duran Duran, Mick Jagger, Hall and Oates) on trumpet, cellist Carolyn Jeselsohn, vocalist Reneé LoBue of Elk City, accordionist Carl Riehl (Michelle Shocked, Uncle Moon) and Ray Ketchem on percussion.

As of October 23, 'Victoria' is available everywhere digitally, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp. On November 28, the 'Her Favorite Disguise' album will be released digitally and also on vinyl. It can already be pre-ordered on Bandcamp.

Bedsore Sign to Season of Mist

Season of Mist is proud to welcome Bedsore!

Seven years ago, Bedsore appeared from Italy's underground with a magical potion that stirs together death metal, vintage prog rock and cinematic horror. The band's first album Hypnagogic Hallucinations was plenty potent, though last year's follow-up proved truly mesmerizing. Dreaming the Strife for Love was named one of the best metal albums of 2024 by Brooklyn Vegan, Treble, BangerTV and other notable publications.

Now, as the band return to the studio for their upcoming third album and first since fleshing out into a six-piece lineup, Bedsore are pleased to finally reveal that they've signed with Season of Mist.

"With a long and continued tradition of supporting leading artists who are on the cutting edge, Season of Mist represents the perfect partner for Bedsore's musical imagery, offering us an open field for creative exploration while also helping us reach listeners who truly care", says the band's founding members Jacopo Gianmaria Pepe and Stefano Allegretti. "Being part of this forward-thinking family gives us the freedom to keep developing our aesthetic without any compromise, which is why joining hands with Season of Mist feels like the wisest decision for us at this stage.

"We would firmly like to extend our heartfelt thanks to 20 Buck Spin for their invaluable contributions so far. We would not be here today without their trust and support. We sincerely wish them the very best as we take on a new step of our journey".

To go along with their new label home, Bedsore are also thrilled to announce today that they have joined forces with Swamp Booking. "We are truly excited to work alongside what is hands down one of the best booking acts around and look forward to bringing our music to stages everywhere", the band continues. "As good things come in threes, new sensational music is already in the works and marks a transition toward something even more ambitious. We can't wait to move forward and share it with all of you soon!"

Don't miss Bedsore when they close out 2025 alongside StarGazer and Drowned.

Like so many of their Italian brethren from Goblin and Devil Doll, to Death SS and Black Hole, Bedsore continue to pursue their uncompromising vision, now in a renovated vest, and performing as a six-piece to achieve a more powerful live dynamic and timbrel palette.

Bedsore already have two European tours and appearances at eminent international festivals like Chaos Descends Festival, Incineration Festival, Kill-Town Death Fest, Courts of Chaos Festival, Frantic Festival and Metalitalia Festival under their belts. The band's live appearances aim to convey their musical kaleidoscopic frame into a unique visual and aural experience that's all-encompassing for both the audience and the musicians.

So, brace yourself! Bedsore's journey is just at its beginning, and the future promises even greater sonic heights.

Lineup
Jacopo Gianmaria Pepe - Vocals, Electric Guitar, 12-String Guitar
Stefano Allegretti - Hammond Organ, Mellotron, String Machine

VITRIOL to Embark on North American Headliner + EU Tour, Announces New Band Lineup

Death metal battalion VITRIOL will be embarking on a full North American headliner with support from Unmerciful and Weeping Death! The extensive trek kicks off on November 6 in Santa Cruz, CA and will make its way through the continent until the final stop in VITRIOL's hometown of Portland, OR on December 6. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are available HERE.

VITRIOL will then dominate Europe in support of BÖLZER along with THE RUINS OF BEVERAST, MISÞYRMING + TREPANERINGSRITUALEN next year! The trek kicks off on February 20 in Berlin (DE). Tickets can be found HERE.

In addition, VITRIOL is now pleased to announce an all new powerhouse lineup! Founding member, guitarist, and vocalist Kyle Rasmussen is now joined by guitarist Keith Merrow (Merrow, Demisery), bassist Brett Leier (Gargoyl, Varthagus), and drummer Andy Vincenzetti (Morgue Defilement, Imperial Crystalline Entombment).

Rasmussen previously stated on the new changes,

"We have two large developments to share. Firstly, we are deeply saddened to announce that Matt Kilner has chosen to step away from Vitriol. While I imagine that most people's first instinct is to ask why, Matt's reasoning is his own, and we want to afford him the respect of not speaking on his behalf. Suffice it to say, we are pained to see him go.

"In more triumphant news, we have welcomed Brett Leier into the fold on bass and accompanying vocals. Brett is a wildly talented instrumentalist with a very potent creative mind. He also looks like he'd be camped out in a Serbian gas station bathroom with chicken wire pulled tight, which I think is a pretty sweet vibe. Brett is best known for his work in Gargoyl alongside fellow mega-shredders. Brett will be joining Keith Merrow and I on our upcoming, soon-to-be announced tour where we will re emerge as a four piece. We look forward to seeing what the future will bring. We will provide more information on the drummer situation soon enough.

VITRIOL is touring in support of their critically-acclaimed 2024 album, 'Suffer & Become,' which can be streamed HERE.

PREYRS Share Video for "Into The Blue"

PREYRS, a visceral new force in alternative rock and metal, have released the video for their new single "Into The Blue," from their hypnotic debut album, The Wounded Healer, out November 14 via Pelagic Records

Watch the "Into The Blue" lyric video below

Stream and pre-order here

Vocalist Amy Montgomery comments, "'Into The Blue' is empathy, anger, passion, and an observation of senseless loss of life."

PREYRS are the brainchild of Belfast rock artist Amy Montgomery and drummer/producer Michael Mormecha. Fusing raw alternative rock energy with the weight of metal, the quartet's music is an electrifying clash of aggression and euphoria, darkness and uplift, chaos and control. Elements of artists as disparate as Nine Inch Nails, Chelsea Wolfe, Sonic Youth, and Julie Christmas combine to delirious and heady effect.

Busking on the streets of Belfast from the age of 15, Montgomery met multi-instrumentalist Mormecha a few years later and they've been working together ever since. Both songwriters in their own right, Michael fronted renowned Irish post-hardcore outfit Mojo Fury and worked as a producer for artists including The Bonnevilles, Mojo Fury, and Joshua Burnside. They're joined as PREYRS by longtime guitarist Nolan Donelly and new bass player Ciarán McGreevy.

Known for electrifying live performances, PREYRS made their UK festival debut at Bloodstock Open Air this August and appeared at Stendhal Festival in Ireland. Nominated as "Best Live Act" and "Best Artist" at the Northern Ireland Music Prize, Montgomery's undeniably fierce and captivating frontperson energy has been her secret weapon often described as "otherworldly" or "a force of nature." For those seeking the epic, the healing, the aggressive, and the unrelenting pulse of alternative rock and metal, PREYRS are it.

PREYRS will be supporting punk legends New Model Army across Europe this winter.

NYC's Ecce Shnak & world-class DJ Eskei83 unleash 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy (Kill Em Mix)'

NYC-based alt-rockers Ecce Shnak and Germany's Eskei83 present 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy (Kill Em Mix)', an invigorating re-envisioning of the original version of 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy'. This adrenaline-filled hit, which has already lit up the DJ-producer’s recent sets at Tomorrowland and elsewhere, serves as a bridge towards the band's full-length album, 'Dandy Variances', slated for spring release via Records Man, Records.

Ecce Shnak (pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock) is David Roush (composer, bassist and one of two singers), Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums). Known for their high-wire sonic performance, where intense musicality and a touch of madness exist in perfect, precarious balance, they whimsically incorporates diverse artistic expressions, tackling profound subjects and intriguing minutiae with remarkable clarity.

'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy (Kill Em Mix)' evokes imagery of sci-fi and action-thriller fight scenes from the Matrix, Bladerunner, and John Wick. Rest assured, the good guys win! Reimagining the original’s math-metal guitar riff as a throbbing dubstep synth-bassline and its frenetic drums as a straightforward high-octane dance-beat, Eskei83 quotes snippets of Bella and Davey’s sung and shouted performance as a gang vocal for energized crowds to share their own voices to the ecstatic romp.

"The Dresdenian shite-kicker recently spun his version at the dragon-blessed Tomorrowland party in Belgium. Both Ecce Shnak and Eskei83 are proud to share this version with their own audiences and music-lovers generally. Endless gratitude to all music lovers worldwide," says David Roush.

Eskei83 adds, "I made a remix for Ecce Shnak and played it at Tomorrowland! In 2024, I was asked to create my version of 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy' and what started as an experimental challenge turned into a legit club weapon. My [Kill Em Mix] is now ready to smash floors!"

Since releasing their 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP in February, recorded and produced by Jeff Lucci, mixed by Nicholas Vernhes  (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Wild Nothing, The War on Drugs) and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend).

Since then, Ecce Shnak has garnered ample press attention and airplay, released their live 'Backroom Sessions' EP, hosted a hot series of live shows in New York City, and completed a successful U.S. tour with platinum-selling legends Spacehog and EMF. Ecce Shnak also features on the new EMF single 'LGBTQ+ Lover', an epic indie dance track that offers a safe space for the marginalized queer community, the video footage being filmed during their recent joint tour.

'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy (Kill Em Mix)' is out now viaRecords, Man Records, available from digital music platforms, includingSpotifyand YouTube and Amazon Music.

PALEFACE SWISS Announce 'The Wilted EP'; Unveil New Single & MV "Let Me Sleep"

Following the surprise drop of their recent single, "Instrument of War" feat. Stick To Your Gun, Switzerland’s heaviest export Paleface Swiss return with the announcement of The Wilted EP, scheduled for release on January 2nd, 2026. The band have also unveiled brand new banger, Let Me Sleep" along with its accompanying music video, which will join "Instrument of War" and 3 further unreleased tracks to round out the new EP. Listen to "Let Me Sleep" HERE and watch the music video Below. Special pre-order merch bundles of The Wilted EP are available now HERE.

A visceral scream from the threshold of exhaustion and fear, Let Me Sleep” drills into frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger’s spiraling struggles with insomnia and the mental fractures left in the wake of relentless touring. The track anchors a new era for the band, one that picks up where their critically-acclaimed, highest-charting-to-date album Cursed left off and digs deeper into the psychological and emotional terrain that followed.

“Do you know the feeling when you want to sleep but your head doesn’t allow it—maybe because you fear your dreams?” Zelli asks. “Or do my dreams fear me? Sleep is so important to me, but sometimes my mind just won’t let me.”

Musically, the track is classic Paleface Swiss: punishing breakdowns, cinematic scope, and a pulse of vulnerability beneath the weight. The video, inspired by Slender Man and Hellraiser, blurs the line between dream state and waking dread and offers yet another unsettling, high-concept entry in the band’s expanding visual universe.

The Wilted EP was born in the aftermath of relentless momentum. Written across months of mostly-sold-out touring through Europe, the U.S., and Australia, it traces the burnout, emotional collapse, and uneasy regrowth that comes in the wake of releasing a life-alteringly successful album and trying to learn how to navigate the aftermath. If Cursed documented the breaking point, The Wilted EP lingers in what comes after. The hollow quiet, the spiraling mind, the fragile attempts to maintain forward motion and continue to rise.

Its visual identity continues the band’s symbolic language of flowers: blooms that were once vivid when featured on the Cursed album artwork, are now curled and brittle. An unflinching depiction of decay and disintegration.

Known for their incomparable live performances and fearless approach to intense and vulnerable topics, Paleface Swiss has built a reputation as one of the most vital, unfiltered, and rapidly rising forces in the world of modern metal today. With their latest full-length album, Cursed, Paleface Swiss took listeners into their darkest, most intricate, and artistically diverse chapter yet, combining their trademark Nu-Core heaviness with raw vulnerability, a rare and special combination for a band within their genre. The album charted at #17 globally on Spotify, #3 in the U.S., and #1 in the UK, followed by an extended version - Cursed: The Complete Edition.

The album's success kicked off a year of career-defining momentum for Paleface Swiss that included back-to-back sellout tours across Europe & the UK, North America, multiple festival performances and their first ever tour of Australia. Refusing to rest on their laurels, Paleface Swiss will begin 2026 with the release of their freshly announced 'The Wilted EP', their biggest tour of Europe and the UK yet and will be heading back to the US in May to play major festivals Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Festival.

ABOUT PALEFACE SWISS

Since their debut Chapter 3: The Last Selection in 2020, Paleface Swiss have risen from underground darlings to global heavyweights in the world of metal. With explosive riffs, punishing beatdowns, a brutally heavy rhythm section, and frontman Zelli’s signature vocal savagery, the band quickly gained momentum—landing four breakout tracks on Spotify’s Heavy Beatdown playlist Their 2022 follow-up Fear & Dagger pushed even further, earning praise for its emotional weight and unflinching heaviness, with standout reviews from Metal Injection, New Transcendence, and Wall of Sound. Singles like “The Orphan,” “Dead Man’s Diary” (feat. LANDMVRKS' Florent Salfati), and “My Grave / Lay with Me” solidified their place among the new wave of deathcore’s most innovative acts.

In the years that followed, Paleface Swiss took their chaos on the road—touring with Body Snatcher, Counterparts, and The Ghost Inside, and leveling festival stages from Sick New World to Hellfest. Their live reputation exploded, converting crowds with a show that fuses unrelenting brutality and raw vulnerability. Between headline tours and viral fan demand, they released standalone anthems “Best Before: Death,” “Please End Me,” and “The Gallow—each now included on their latest offering Cursed: The Complete Edition, the most ambitious and complete chapter of their journey so far. To date, the band have amassed over 180 million streams, 53 million YouTube views, with their Spotify Monthly listeners recently peaking at over 1 million. Their recent, sold-out Cursed Tour across Europe, the UK, North America and Australia sold over 70,000 tickets.
