Ian Munsick Makes History w/ Cheyenne Frontier Days Headlining Debut
A native son of Sheridan, Wyoming, Ian Munsick returned home Saturday night (July 18), for his ultimate bucket list moment: headlining the “Daddy of ‘em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Country star Travis Tritt took the stage prior to Munsick, in a full-circle moment which Munsick reflected on in an interview with CBS News: “He was the first country star to really embrace me, so for me to be able to ask him to come and play on the biggest stage in Wyoming… that’s going to be a huge honor.”
When Munsick moved to Nashville to pursue music at 18, he carried the influences of the West with him, curating a unique brand of country that has been celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker alike for putting “the Western back in Country.” For a set playing the largest stage in the state of Wyoming, this career-long pursuit of representing the West culminated in a 22-song setlist that served as an homage to the place that made his dream possible.
Munsick kickstarted the evening with his 2021 release “I See Country” – which has become a fan-favorite at line dance halls in the years since its release – and the rowdy “Barn Burner” off his sophomore album, White Buffalo.
Introducing his ode to Cheyenne Frontier Days, “Cheyenne,” Munsick reflected on his homecoming, stating “I wrote this song about a year ago, manifesting the moment that’s happening right now.”
As the evening progressed, fans enthusiastically line danced and boot stomped along to each song, with one couple pausing during faith-based love song “More Than Me” for a proposal.
Towards the end of his set, Munsick shared the stage with another Wyoming native, Ryan Charles, for the song that popularized his Belt Buckle Shuffle dance move, “Cowboy Killer.” The curtains closed with one more ode to his homeland, “Mountain Time,” leaving fans demanding more, not quite ready to let Munsick leave the Rockies just yet.
Luckily for them, Munsick had one more special moment up his sleeve, welcoming his dad, Dave, and his brother, Sam, on stage, reunited as The Munsick Boys. Singing “Prairie Lament i” and a cover of Chris LeDoux’s “Rodeo Moon,” the trio gave the crowd a glimpse of the beginning of Munsick’s career – performing as a family once again under the Cheyenne skies, just as he did as a kid.

Koe Wetzel Ushers in the Next Era With "Surrounded" Out This Friday 7/25
Fresh off a pair of home state stadium dates in Texas with Morgan Wallen and in the midst of a high-energy run of summer festival dates amid Jim Bob World Tour legs with HARDY, Koe Wetzel returns this week with the highly anticipated release of “Surrounded” – the first official preview of new music since his chart-topping 9 Lives. The long-awaited single arrives this Friday, July 25, alongside an official visualizer. Pre-save/pre-order HERE.
Initially teased during a radio event in February, “Surrounded” has since become a fixture in Wetzel’s live set, building buzz through headline and festival performances across the country, including standout moments at Country Fest, Country Boom and Windy City Smokeout – where he also appeared on “Good Morning America” as the celebrity guest judge for their onsite BBQ competition.
“‘Surrounded’ felt like the right way to kick off this next chapter,” shares Wetzel of the hard-driving track that delves into the feeling of being trapped by a memory you can’t outrun. “The way fans locked into it live from the jump has been wild, so we’re fired up to finally let the full thing loose this week.”
The release of “Surrounded” follows a landmark year that saw Wetzel hit five consecutive weeks at No. 1 with 9 Lives standout “High Road” featuring Jessie Murph, land on year-end “Best Of” lists from the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, LA Times, Tennessean, Holler and more, grace the cover or POLLSTAR and receive three new RIAA certifications at the sold-out Red Rocks finale of the Damn Near Normal World Tour, which saw the renegade rockstar perform for well over 200,000 fans globally with over 96% of all headline tickets sold – and even spawned its own live album.
With new music arriving this week, a nonstop touring schedule this summer and his Madison Square Garden debut this fall, Wetzel shows no signs of slowing down.
For more information and to purchase tickets to all upcoming dates, visit KoeWetzelMusic.com and follow on Instagram and Facebook @KoeWetzelMusic, TikTok @Koe_Wetzel and Twitter/X @KoeWetzel.
About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down. The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. With his defining fifth studio album, 9 Lives, released in 2024 via Columbia Records, Wetzel earned recognition on several major year-end best-of lists, including Rolling Stone, Billboard, the Tennessean and more, with the Los Angeles Times naming lead single “High Road” (feat. Jessie Murph) as the No. 8 best song of 2024 across all genres. The single not only marked Wetzel’s debut at Country radio, it also held the No. 1 spot for five weeks and became his fastest song to reach the RIAA Platinum milestone to date. Previously, his 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no-holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” plus the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” and “Good Die Young” plus the Gold-certified “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has amassed 3.7 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” Wetzel performed for well over 200,000 fans across the U.S. in Europe in 2024, with over 96% of all headline tickets sold, in addition to playing prominent festival sets and opening for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour, while 2025 sees him again embark on a year of heavy touring both as a headliner and alongside Wallen and HARDY.
Modern Country Traditionalist Spencer Hatcher Signs With WME
QHMG / Stone Country Records’ modern country traditionalist Spencer Hatcher has signed with WME for global representation.
Noted by Billboard for his sound that “fits the ’90s-country revival that’s still turning heads among the genre’s base,” Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. He began playing five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band at the age of 11 and formed his own country band in 2020.
Before signing with Stone Country Records in October 2024, Hatcher was self-booking more than 150 shows a year after going viral with online covers of classic songs from his heroes, including Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley and Elvis Presley. Hatcher has now amassed more than 890,000 social media followers and 60 million views.
“Spencer Hatcher is one to watch! He’s a standout in this traditional music renaissance we’re experiencing,” said WME Agent Carter Green. “Spencer's musicianship, authenticity and work ethic are second to none, and we can’t wait to help take his music to new audiences worldwide.”
“Signing with WME for representation is an incredible opportunity I’m so thankful for,” said Hatcher. “If you know me, then you know I always wear Elvis’s ‘TCB’ motto on a chain around my neck, and with WME now working alongside my record label, Stone Country Records, taking care of business is exactly what we’ll be doing!”
Hatcher’s new focus track, the after-dark charmer “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” releases this Friday (7/25) and is available now for pre-save / pre-add.
About Spencer Hatcher:
Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, Hatcher was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, he formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.
Quickly developing a reputation across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and in 2024, often setting venue attendance records.
Hatcher has built a strong fanbase, including 890,000 social media followers. He has amassed over 60 million views, including 8.6 million likes on TikTok alone. This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
While Hatcher is still known as a “banjo shredder,” he’s now equally renowned for guitar picking and his unique vocals with a smooth southern drawl. The Daily News-Record, Hatcher’s hometown newspaper in Harrisonburg, Virginia, has dubbed him the “String King.”
Hatcher closely studies his musical heroes, including fellow bluegrass-turned-country artist Keith Whitley, but as this young old-fashioned gentleman begins his Nashville adventure, he’s determined to forge his own creative path.
Following his debut release on Stone Country Records – a three-pack of traditional country songs featuring the feel-good focus track “Cold Beer and Common Sense” – Hatcher’s new focus track, the after-dark charmer “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” is scheduled for release on July 25 and available now for pre-save / pre-add.
For more information on Spencer Hatcher, visit spencerhatchermusic.com and follow him on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

CLAWFINGER Return With New Album 'BEFORE WE ALL DIE' Out February 20, 2026 Via Perception
Before We All Die” CLAWFINGERs first studio album in 18 years, arrives February 20, 2026 on Perception. Loud, furious, darkly humorous and brutally honest, it's everything you forgot you needed — and exactly what you'd expect from a band that never cared much for subtlety.
“This isn’t about finding peace,” singer Zak Tell says. “It’s about telling the truth — even when it’s ugly. Especially then.”
From environmental collapse to political hypocrisy, personal disillusionment to collective denial, this is CLAWFINGER at full volume — still pissed off, still sharp as ever, and still refusing to shut up while the world pretends it’s all fine.
Already released, the single "Scum" sets the tone: zero tolerance for corrupt leadership, fake morality, or the rising tide of right-wing garbage. It’s not a love song — unless you really love rage and distortion.
“This album is part protest, part therapy, and part middle finger,” the band adds. “We’re not offering solutions. We’re screaming because silence is surrender”.

About CLAWFINGER
CLAWFINGER are considered pioneers of European rap-metal. Formed in Stockholm in the early 1990s, the Swedish-Norwegian band made an explosive debut with Deaf Dumb Blind (1993), blending aggressive guitar riffs with politically charged lyrics and rap vocals. The album sold over 600,000 copies worldwide – more than 250,000 in Germany alone – and won a Swedish Grammis award in the hardrock/metal category.
CLAWFINGER’s follow-up Use Your Brain [1995] continued their success with chart placements across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Sweden. Over the years, they released seven studio albums including A Whole Lot Of Nothing, Zeros & Heroes, Hate Yourself With Style, and Life Will Kill You, selling over 1.5 million records worldwide.
Known for their direct, riff-driven sound and strong political stance, CLAWFINGER address topics such as racism, political delusion, drug policy, environmental destruction, and social inequality. In the 1990s, they toured intensively with acts like ALICE IN CHAINS, MEGADETH and FAITH NO MORE and appeared at major festivals including Rock am Ring, Roskilde, and Monsters of Rock in South America.
After a brief hiatus, the band returned in 2014 and has since released new singles like "Save Our Souls" [2017] and "Environmental Patients" [2022]. In 2025, CLAWFINGER signed a new label deal with PERCEPTION, with more music on the way - still as loud, sharp, and uncompromising as ever.

ALL HELL Unleash New Single “The Bleeding” from Forthcoming Album Sunsetter
Blackened metal trio ALL HELL has released “The Bleeding,” the first single from their upcoming album Sunsetter, due out October 10, 2025 on Terminus Hate City.
A blistering, high-speed descent into vampiric hunger and ritualistic violence, “The Bleeding” offers the first glimpse into the apocalyptic narrative of Sunsetter, a concept album spanning millennia of exile, resurrection, and mythic doom. The track also features a scorching guest guitar solo by Nate Garnette of SKELETONWITCH, a longtime friend and collaborator of the band.
Lyrically, “The Bleeding” places listeners in the mind of a predator, one of the cursed children of Cain, seeking blood offerings for a long-slumbering sire. The result is pure sonic ferocity, blending d-beat punk energy with the band’s signature blackened edge and occult atmosphere.
Sunsetter is the fifth full-length from ALL HELL, following a string of acclaimed releases including The Grave Alchemist and The Witch’s Grail. Known for their punishing live shows and genre-defying sound, the band has toured with RINGWORM, BLACK TUSK, and PROFANATICA, and has performed at Decibel Metal and Beer Fest, RPM Fest, and more.
About ALL HELL:
ALL HELL is a blackened metal trio from Asheville, North Carolina, known for their relentless fusion of first wave black metal, deathrock, punk, and horror-driven storytelling. Since forming in 2013, the band has carved out a distinct identity rooted in occult themes, razor-sharp riffs, and a fierce DIY ethos. Their sound is aggressive, stripped-down, and deeply atmospheric — a raw, unfiltered descent into myth, violence, and the supernatural.
With five full-length albums and an EP to their name, including 2025’s apocalyptic concept record Sunsetter, ALL HELL has evolved from a local cult favorite into a powerful underground force. Their live presence has taken them across the U.S., sharing stages with acts like RINGWORM, BLACK TUSK, PROFANATICA, and TURN COLD, and performing at festivals such as Decibel Metal and Beer Fest, Dark Lord Day, and RPM Fest.
The current lineup, Jacob Curwen (guitar and vocals), Erik Ballantyne (bass), and Elanti (drums), continues to push the band’s sound forward while staying true to its core. With each release, ALL HELL digs deeper into a unique mythos that spans history, horror, and apocalypse, embracing the dark, the ugly, and the eternal night.

Thy Catafalque Release Live Video Ahead of First Latin American Tour
Even when it was only thought of as a studio project, Thy Catafalquehad a vision that extends beyond borders and boundaries. Over the past two decades, Hungarian mastermind Tamás Kátai and his growing cast of collaborators have brought the deadly art of extreme metal into close conversation with the avant-garde.
"XII: A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek is a feast for the ears", New Noise wrote in a 5 star review of Thy Catafalque's latest opus. "[it's] a celebration of the powers of music, bursting to express itself in whatever form it chooses to inhabit. An album to inexorably fall in love with".
Now, fresh off their debuts at Hellfest and Kilkim Žaibu, followed by a resounding return in front of their home crowd at Fishing on Orfű, Thy Catafalque are preparing to tour Latin America for the very first time. As the group prepare to ignite crowds from Mexico to Argentina, today, they are releasing a live video from last year's hometown performance of the most chilling epic off their dark and dreamy twelfth album.
"This is a massive step-up for Thy Catafalque", Kátai says. "We are very excited to play for our fans in places where we've never gone before".

Heading into Thy Catafalque's twelfth album, Tamás Kátai set out to make a straightforward metal record. But A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek wound up taking him on another surreal headtrip.
In English, "Ködkirály" translates to "King of Fog". The song unfolds somewhere between dreams and nightmares. Martina Veronika Horváth and Ivett Dudás rise amidst cosmic synths like fog beneath a sinking moon. Their chilling cleans left the sold-out crowd at the influential Hungarian underground venue completely mesmerized. With his deep rippling bass lines, Kátai only deepens the spell.
Of course, Thy Catafalque aren't ones to leave their fans in suspense. Halfway through "Ködkirály", a death metal riff comes thundering down from the blackened sky. When dueling guitarists Zoltán Vigh and Krisztián Varga unfurl a procession of gloomy tremolo picking, it's harrowingly clear that the king has come. "Hullj, nehéz eső / Fall, heavy rain", roars Gábor Dudás, commanding the group's many followers to bang their heads.

“I’m thankful to Frontiers Records for the opportunity to give you guys some new music!! I’ve been writing and recording with my good pal Marti Frederiksen here in Nashville, and I can’t wait for you to hear it all!”
Tom Lipsky, Head of A&R of North America for Frontiers Label Group, commented:
“It is exciting to bring JOHN into the Frontiers Label Group. He has fans around the world, and he is respected by the artist community as a musician, singer and songwriter. JOHN’s new music will take his accomplished career to an even higher level”.
JOHN CORABI is a journeyman singer-songwriter and guitarist who burst onto the music scene with Hollywood Records recording artists The Scream in 1991. Touring extensively throughout the United States on the strength of their songs “Man In The Moon," “I Believe In Me," and “Father Mother Son," JOHN attracted the attention of radio, MTV, fans, and critics alike.
Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx reached out to JOHN after the departure of Vince Neil in 1992 and asked him to join the band for the writing and recording of their 1994 self-titled record. During the recording process of the follow-up 'Generation Swine' album in late 1996, Vince Neil returned to the band, and JOHN started the band Union with former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.
Union headed into a studio to record their debut self-titled album in 1998. With Union, JOHNreleased three albums between 1998 and 2001. Afterwards, JOHN left Union to join the band RATT on their 2001 summer tour, handling guitar and backing vocal duties. Touring constantly from 2001 - 2008, JOHN eventually left the band to go out on his own.
JOHN has released the acoustic album 'Unplugged' in 2012 and a live album, “Live 94, One Night In Nashville,' in 2018, as well as multiple original and tribute singles. JOHN received a phone call in 2015 to join the all-star collective called The Dead Daisies, and has since recorded the albums 'Revolución,' 'Make Some Noise,' 'Live And Louder,' 'Burn It Down,' 'Light Em’ Up,' and a recently released blues covers record 'Looking For Trouble.'
For the last ten years, with The Dead Daisies and as a solo acoustic artist, JOHN has toured extensively in Europe, the United States, Japan, South America, Australia, and the United Kingdom, playing all the major festivals and selling out shows to a growing, loyal fan base.
With his 2022 autobiography “Horseshoes And Hand Grenades," and 19 full-length records under his belt, spanning a 35-year career, JOHN is anxious to release record number 20, and play the new songs live. The future looks bright for JOHN!
Dead Poet Society Share "Running In Circles (Stripped)"
Los Angeles quartet DEAD POET SOCIETY, who were tipped by The New York Post's Page Six as a band to know, dropped their second album FISSION in 2024 via Spinefarm. It's available here.

"A little while ago, we came across our longtime fan (and now friend) Marissa's piano cover of 'Running In Circles' on Instagram. Everything about it — the expression, chord changes, and emotion — moved us. We knew right away that we needed to release this version of a song that's so special to us," the band explains. "Shortly after, we decided to fly Marissa out from Texas and have her officially record the version with Jack singing. We couldn’t be more excited about the result."

ERRA Share Visualizer for New Single "Echo Sonata"
Prolific metalcore progressives ERRA — J.T. Cavey, vocals; Jesse Cash, vocals + guitars; Conor Hesse, bass; Alex Ballew, drums; and Clint Tustin, guitar — dropped the new song "Gore of Being" last week. Watch the video here. It was the first new music from the band since 2024's critically acclaimed CURE and was lauded by Rock Sound for its "stunning collision of brutality and melody we've come to expect from the band" and by Knotfest as "a potent meld of precision and power."
They've followed it immediately with another typically brainy metallic track titled "Echo Sonata."
Watch the visualizer and listen below.
The song nods to both ERRA's past and its future!
"'Echo Sonata' feels like a return to form for the band," explains Cash. "It hearkens back to the spirit of our Drift album, something we didn't initially plan on but something our friends were quick to point out when we were showing them the song. It's a proper representation of the kind of melody and emotion we're going for on the next record."
ERRA will hit the road this summer as main suport for Architects. All dates are below.

CHILEAN ROCKERS CONSEQUENCE OF ENERGY UNLEASH DEBUT SINGLE, "FREEDOM"
Consequence of Energy is a politically-charged hard rock act from Chile, whose lead-off single, "Freedom," marks their thunderous debut into the international arena. Released on July 18, 2025, "Freedom" features explosive riffs, relentless grooves, and an urgent vocal performance – which hits like a protest anthem born in the heat of global unrest.
Comprised of Michael Bianchi "Sirius" (vocals), Diego Sagredo "Caminantecosmico" (guitar / synths / others), Roli Cortes (guitar / synths), Pedro Javier (bass / backing vocals), and Amaru López Campbell (drums), Consequence of Energy has also issued a music video for the tune via YouTube, which features a performance in front of a festival-sized crowd:
Audio: Freedom
Video: Consequence of Energy - Freedom (Live)
"Freedom" captures the desperation and defiance of a generation pushed to the brink — a song tailor-made for mosh pits and gym playlists. The production is raw but laser-focused, with modern metal sheen and South American fire. Produced by legendary rock producer Garth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, Biffy Clyro), mixed by Dave Schiffman (System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers), and mastered by the iconic Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Soundgarden), the sonic pedigree speaks for itself.
The song is a preview of what is to come in the near future, when the band drops their full-length debut, We Are One – which will be released sometime in late 2025/early 2026. With distribution via AWAL and support from the underground powerhouse Los Lobos Records, the band is set to make a global mark. "Freedom" is the first strike from a full campaign aimed at tearing down borders — sonically and socially.
"'Freedom' captures everything I love about a great rock song — raw energy, emotional weight, and total honesty," Richardson said. "Consequence of Energy came into the studio with something urgent to say, and you feel it in every riff and every beat. I'm proud to have worked with them on this track — it's a modern hard rock anthem that hits with purpose."
"The song questions the very concept of freedom in a world where structure, ego, and belief systems often masquerade as liberation," the band adds. "It mocks the idea that louder voices or purer ideologies can set us free, when in truth, we're often trapped by the very tools we use to define ourselves. Freedom is not a protest song—it's a mirror. A bold, biting, and brutally honest reflection of a society addicted to control while crying out for release. Consequence of Energy doesn't offer easy answers—just a challenge: What does freedom really mean? And are you ready to face what's in the way?"
Fueled by the rhythms of Latin America and shaped by the influence of genre giants like Audioslave, Gojira, and System of a Down, Consequence of Energy delivers music that is equal parts catharsis and confrontation. And soon, rock fans worldwide will get a chance to experience this exciting up and coming band.

Eric Church's 3 Nights at Red Rocks: Full Band Firepower to Stripped-Back Solos, Same-Day New Song & More
With an American Flag scarf given by a fan hanging loosely around his neck on night two-of-three as the band finished “Springsteen,” the sunglass-clad superstar had just downed an airplane bottle of Jack, and was clearly living in the moment as much as the audience as he grinned and acknowledged, “2012 broke out in here real quick.” It was a statement that both acknowledged the jubilance as well as the journey that Eric Church embarked on 20 years ago.
Earlier this week, arriving at the venue for the first time in nine years, Church joked with his crew, “I was a younger man the last time I walked this ramp.” Between reminiscing of his youngest son first attending in a Baby Bjorn and headphones to now standing side stage for “Holdin’ My Own,” Church’s teary eyes reflected the magnitude of the moment and mirrored its lyrics – “If the world comes knocking, Tell ‘em I'm not home, I'm finally holdin’ my own” – holding the crowd right along with him.
“The thing about these shows is you can’t really plan for or manufacture what happens. Either a night, a moment, a show or a melody captures it, or it doesn’t, and this week, every night – and I mean this – for me, it was magic,” Church shared after.
From staying up until 4:22 a.m. on night one and brilliantly deciding during the late-night celebration to add covers on night two like “Gimme Shelter” (during which longtime cohort Joanna Cotten mouthed to him sarcastically in between Merry Clayton’s chorus, “you son of a...”), to being so moved that he debuted a song, “New Old Me,” written that very afternoon on night three, his three-night stint was a creative filled sabbatical in Colorado.
Monday delivered a full-scale production, with a complete horns and strings sections plus a choir for Eric Church vs. The Machine. He played the entire Evangeline vs. The Machine album front to back – and then played 14 more songs. There were some favorites, including “Knives of New Orleans,” and there were some rarities, including “Lynyrd Skynyrd Jones” outside the state of Alabama for only the second time in the last three years.
“I’ll see you in another nine years,” Church told the crowd at the conclusion of the evening. Then he chuckled. “Nah, I’m just kidding,” he said. “Shit, I’ll see you tomorrow night.”

Indeed, with his masterful road crew tearing down that extremely complicated set and loading in a completely new one over the course of just a couple hours, the stage was set for night two – Eric Church vs. The ECB – to make its own mark. It was quickly clear that he and the ECB weren’t just playing the songs that have defined the past two-decades – you could see them living those moments again, too. They started playing “Lotta Boot Left to Fill” in Denver at the Grizzly Rose in November of 2006. Tuesday night, it was back.
“Damn, we were punks,” Church laughed at the conclusion of the song. But he also knew that being a punk is occasionally what navigated him through a career that has never been stereotypical, and also a key reason why he was standing in the spotlight at a sold-out Red Rocks. “Sorry,” he told the crowd with a grin, “I’m enjoying that more than I should.”
Except for “Springsteen” – which still came with a different “Born To Run” intro, because Church just can’t help but push himself to deliver something new with each performance – each of the 23 songs was different on Tuesday, making for 45 different songs played over the first two nights alone.
And yet, there was still one more show to come, with Wednesday’s finale delivering an epic clash of Eric Church vs. The Guitar. The scene was set early, with a heavy rain setting in just before Church took the stage and making for an incredible setting as he opened with the instantly recognizable first few chords of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” immediately letting the crowd know they were in for one of those special nights that wouldn’t soon be forgotten.
The rain came and went initially, but then it unloaded around 11 p.m. It happened to coincide with Church breaking into a 12-song medley in the middle of “Record Year.” By the time he got to the sixth song of the medley, “Tiny Dancer,” it was pouring. In “Through My Ray-Bans,” there’s a line that says, “Tonight we don’t give a damn.” By the time Church and Cotten finished “Like Jesus Does,” it was a borderline monsoon, and this crowd decided they absolutely, positively did not give a damn.
The unscripted backdrop of the night enabled Church to give a performance that instantly goes into his career pantheon. You will never be able to make a list of best Eric Church shows without the Red Rocks rain show in 2025. Likewise, you may not be able to make a list of most memorable Red Rocks shows from any artist without including the Eric Church rain show of 2025. Late in the show, long past midnight and nearly 30 minutes after Church had finished the night’s planned set list and was completely improvising, every single seat was filled as the house lights turned on to illuminate the crowd singing along to “Talladega.” At 12:25 a.m. on a Wednesday, in miserable conditions, there wasn’t a visible empty seat anywhere.
In total, he played 32 songs plus that 12-song medley, putting the total at 44 for the nearly two and a half hours he was on stage (and nearly 100 over the three days). Across the unique trilogy of performances, members of the Church Choir also got a sneak peek at the format of his upcoming Free the Machine Tour that kicks off Sept. 12 in Pittsburgh, Pa., as Church will meld what fans saw across three nights at Red Rocks into one show with robust musical arrangements, original band rock outs and powerful stripped configurations of his catalog.
“You don’t want nights like these to end, and I think that’s what I chase,” adds the North Carolina native. “Everyone who comes to our shows knows what I mean and it’s why they chase it, too.”
Fans can relive all three nights by re-watching the trilogy of livestreams exclusively on Nugs, now through July 27.

Miranda Lambert & Parker McCollum Announce “Band Together Texas,” A Benefit Concert for Central Texas Flood Aid
Texas natives Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum present Band Together Texas, a star-studded benefit concert on Sunday, August 17 at Moody Center in Austin, benefiting The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, the leading charity behind the ongoing flood relief efforts, and Central Texas Community Foundation.
The July 4 flooding was one of the deadliest natural disasters in Texas history, claiming the lives of more than 130 adults and children. As of today, over 100 individuals remain missing. Entire communities were inundated, homes and livelihoods were swept away, and families are still reeling from the devastation. Band Together Texas aims to rally critical support for flood-impacted communities and their ongoing needs as they recover and rebuild.
“One of the things I love about both our artist community and our community in Texas is that we show up for one another, especially in times of such great need like folks in my home state are facing after the flood,” shares Lambert. “There is so much devastation and loss, yet what’s given me hope are the stories of those that have come to the aid of so many. That’s what we want to do with Band Together: Texans helping Texas. We hope it is a night that helps with healing while raising awareness and funds for The Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country and the Central Texas Community Foundation.”
Band Together Texas will feature performances from an all-star roster of Texas talent in addition to Lambert and McCollum – including Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Kelly Clarkson, Ronnie Dunn, Dylan Gossett, Jack Ingram, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Lukas Nelson, Jon Randall and Randy Rogers Band.
In addition to the musical performances, notable Texans lending their support to the event include actors Matthew McConaughey and Dennis Quaid, former UT Longhorns coach Mack Brown and players Emmanual Acho, Colt McCoy and Vince Young, MLB star and Houston native Roger Clemens plus television host and Dallas native Chris Harrison, with more to be announced.
The evening will also feature tributes to first responders and flood victims, including stories of rescue and resilience shared on stage by emergency personnel.
“The flooding in the Hill Country of Texas is truly heartbreaking,” adds McCollum. “This place and these people are my community. There is a long road ahead rebuilding and even though so many families are facing the unimaginable, we’re Texas strong. Miranda is inspiring in both her music and how big her heart is, and I’m honored to be joining her for this benefit concert to support our fellow Texans and share a night of healing through music.”
Band Together Texas proceeds benefit The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a Kerrville-based 501(c)(3) public charity that supports both urgent relief and long-term rebuilding following the floods, and Central Texas Community Foundation.
Tickets for Band Together Texas at Moody Center will first be made available via presale registration open now through Monday, July 21 at 5 p.m. CT at bandtogethertexas.com. Whiskey Myers Introduce "Midnight Woman;" New Album 'Whomp Whack Thunder' Arrives 9/26
As anticipation builds for Whomp Whack Thunder, their first new album in three years, Whiskey Myers continue to peel back the curtain on what’s to come with the release of “Midnight Woman,” available everywhere now. Listen Below and pre-order/pre-save the album HERE.
Following the hard-hitting “Tailspin” and fiery lead single “Time Bomb” – currently climbing the Top 40 at Active Rock radio, further solidifying Whiskey Myers’ growing crossover appeal – “Midnight Woman” showcases a different kind of power. The track’s swampy intro explodes into a hard-driving groove laced with classic rock energy. Equal parts grit and seduction, it paints the portrait of a spellbinding force of nature:
“‘Midnight Woman’ is that raw, late-night energy you can’t shake off – part voodoo, part rock ’n’ roll fever dream,” shares lead singer Cody Cannon. “It’s about the kind of woman who doesn’t just walk into your life – she storms in like thunder and leaves you dizzy in her wake.”
The latest release adds to the excitement for Whiskey Myers’ highly anticipated seventh studio album arriving Sept. 26 via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records. Born from the piney woods of East Texas and shaped in the soul of Nashville during an immersive three weeks with renowned producer Jay Joyce – known for bringing edge, atmosphere and unpredictability to every project (Eric Church, Cage the Elephant, Halestorm, Lainey Wilson) – Whomp Whack Thunder is a strong statement from the multi-Platinum independent band.
“We didn’t set out to chase a specific sound – we set out to make a Whiskey Myers record,” reflects lead guitarist John Jeffers. “Jay pulled something out of us that’s raw and real, and every track’s got a piece of our story in it. This album’s about where we’ve been, what we’ve lived and the scars we earned along the way – and I think Whomp Whack Thunder might just be our most fearless album yet.”
Whomp Whack Thunder is the sound of a band at the height of its powers, marrying Southern swagger with arena-sized rock and soul-searching songwriting. Cannon penned all eleven tracks solo, delivering stories that hit with the emotional weight of lived experience and the firepower of the band’s signature sound to craft a record born of the road and shaped by nearly two decades of defiant, grassroots momentum.
The forthcoming album features the full force of the six piece – Cannon (vocals, guitar), Jeffers (guitar), Cody Tate (guitar), Jamey Gleaves (bass), Jeff Hogg (drums) and Tony Kent (percussion, piano) – with Joyce also contributing keys, organ and guitar, crafting a sonic landscape that stretches from greasy blues-rock riffs to gospel-tinged country soul.
Ahead of the fall release, fans can catch early previews of the new music with the What We Were Born To Do Tour, hitting a sold-out Nashville stop tomorrow, July 19, and visiting cities across the U.S. throughout the summer.
