Dinosaur Pile-Up Take A Swipe At Freebie Celebrity Culture On New Single "Big Dogs"

Dinosaur Pile-Up have just dropped their latest banger, the gnarly "Big Dogs," taken from their first new album in six years, I've Felt Better, which will be released on August 22 via Mascot Records

Listen to the track below

Matt Bigland relishes the "power in positivity" of the larger-than-life "Big Dogs" – a gleeful takedown of ass-backwards, celebrity freebie culture where the richest and most successful always "'eat for free' while needy nobodies scrabble for scraps."

"'Big Dogs' is a big dumb song about the fact that when you're rich and famous people give you everything for free — but when you're hustling down at the bottom, nobody gives your broke ass anything. And that doesn't make any sense!!" Bigland says. "It should surely be the other way around!! I love this song because it feels like The Viagra Boys and Pantera fucked, and then Slayer turned up for the solo. It's cool!"

The song features extra vocals from Karen Dió, Larry Hibbitt (Hundred Reasons), and Jaws The Shark. The band has revealed a skit video to accompany it: Matt vs. a big dog —check it out over the DP-U Instagram page here.

"I got to hang out with a giant Doberman for the day, which was so cool!" he says. "I love big dogs like that. Giving it a stroke was like stroking an actual horse. Then, I got to writhe on the ground for a couple hours with a leaf blower on full power pointed at my head. Which was, y'know… weird."

"Big Dogs" is the third single to be taken from the reinvigorated alt-rock heroes. In April, they dropped the raucous and defiant "My Way" and before that "'Bout to Lose It," which was their first new music since 2019's Celebrity Mansions and it announced their return in a big way. The track is five years of pent-up emotion — hope, despair, resignation, and colossal bravery—let loose into a blistering 3:40 minutes of Dinosaur Pile-Up at their absolute best.

There were six people in the ward the second time that Matt Bigland admitted himself to hospital. Three of them didn't make it out alive. It's easy to recognize why they are tightly coiled and ready to go because overcoming life-threatening illness and finding a fresh perspective on life will do that to you. As so much time has passed since their last studio album.

"People need clarity about what happened," Bigland explained. "It's been so cathartic to lay it out." He began documenting his story on the band's Instagram account in December 2024. You can see it in his own words here: Part 1 | Part 2 |Part 3 | Part 4.

I've Felt Better will be released on August 22 via Mascot Records and will be available in CD, LP and digital formats. Pre-order info here.

GRUESOME Shares New Single "Condemned Identity" + Music Video

GRUESOME returns with 'Silent Echoes,' a ferocious Death Metal onslaught, fueled by progressive, razor sharp musicianship, out June 6, 2025 via Relapse Records! 'Silent Echoes' marks the band’s first new full-length recording in 7 years!

Today, GRUESOME shares the third single from the upcoming album titled "Condemned Identity." The new single is accompanied by a music video, available to view below.

GRUESOME comments on “Condemned Identity”:

'Condemned Identity' was a no-brainer as the leadoff track for the record, as it comes out of the gate at full-strength, putting all of our cards on the table. I mean, yeah, it’s more articulate and musical than what we’ve done before, but it’s still very much death metal, which I’m very happy about. Even though we’re incorporating more sophisticated stuff, we can still rip your face off.”

Additionally, GRUESOME has begun releasing a new mini-documentary chronicling the making of their forthcoming full-length, 'Silent Echoes.' The band recently sat down with producers Scott Burns and Jarrett Pritchard for in-depth interviews conducted by David Gehlke at New Constellation Studios in Orlando, FL, where GRUESOME bunkered down to record the album. Watch the first part HERE.

Celebrating over a decade as the finest purveyors of old-school Death Metal inspired by the legendary Chuck Schuldiner and the many iterations of Death, the new album sees GRUESOME transition away from the no-frills riff-fests heard on their 'Savage Land' and 'Twisted Prayers' LPs, and shift towards a more musically advanced, nuanced form of extremity. 'Silent Echoes' is the quartet's true “put up or shut-up” moment for one simple reason: It was written and recorded in the spirit of Death’s 1991 progressive death metal masterpiece, 'Human.'

Watch the Music Video for "Condemned Identity"

The prolonged gestation period between GRUESOME albums was the combination of several factors, yet none more significant than the untimely and unexpected passing of Cynic and Human-era Death drummer Sean Reinert in 2020. Reinert, the best friend and mentor of GRUESOME drummer Gus Rios, was originally slated to produce the album. Instead, Rios, alongside vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey, lead guitarist Daniel Gonzalez, and bassist Robin Mazen, turned 'Silent Echoes' into a tribute to Reinert, whose influence and presence on 'Silent Echoes' is everywhere.

'Silent Echoes' is GRUESOME’s transmutation into the complex, jazz-influenced fields plouwed on 'Human.' As Harvey states, “there’s less winking at the audience on this one,” which is true: The overtly intentional homages found on the band’s previous two albums have been replaced with fluid, agile drum work from Rios, as well as spiraling, multi-faceted guitar riffing from Harvey and Gonzalez, the latter responsible for the album’s prog-infused leads.

Jarrett Pritchard once again handled the production of 'Silent Echoes.' A veteran of two previous GRUESOME studio albums (and dozens of other respected extreme metal acts), Pritchard’s engineering and technical expertise played a crucial role in enabling 'Silent Echoes' to recapture the feel of early 1990s death metal recorded at Tampa’s famed Morrisound Recording. Not only did Pritchard lean on the advice of Death producer Scott Burns, but Rios also used the same snare drum that Reinert did on Cynic’s 'Focus.'

At a time when the thirst for all things Chuck Schuldiner remains unquenchable, leave it to four accomplished, true, well-intentioned death metal veterans to help continue the man’s legacy.

NEW DOCUMENTARY THE BALLAD OF JUDAS PRIEST IN PRODUCTION FROM SONY MUSIC VISION

Sony Music Vision, in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK and Epic Records, today announced the production of The Ballad of Judas Priest, a new documentary about legendary GRAMMY-winning English heavy metal band Judas Priest and their epic journey to the top of rock and roll.

Co-directed by documentary filmmaker Sam Dunn and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello in his directorial debut, the documentary will celebrate the legendary band’s lasting impact on music and culture with their influence reaching far beyond metal. Featuring unforgettable anthems and pop culture staples like “Breaking the Law” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming,” The Ballad of Judas Priest will capture the passion, resilience and enduring legacy of a band whose music and story continue to inspire generations.

Rising from humble, working-class roots in Birmingham, UK, to become global rock legends, Judas Priest didn’t just help shape heavy metal culture – they forged it. Widely credited as being one of the pioneers of the Heavy Metal genre in the 1970s, Judas Priest has sold more than 50 million records and released 19 studio albums for their legion of dedicated fans around the world. In 2022, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. With their 2024 album “Invincible Shield,” the band became the first heavy metal band to release studio albums 50 years apart. The album drew widespread acclaim, receiving a GRAMMY nomination for Best Metal Performance. This fall, they will be joined by Alice Cooper for a co-headlining tour across 22 North American cities.

Judas Priest said, “We have lived and breathed metal for over five decades, and finally in this documentary we are summoning our congregation to officially witness our lives uncensored, in a never-before-seen way…the cassock comes off, revealing Priest in all its metal glory!”

“While some may know Judas Priest for their huge hits that have shaped the heavy metal genre, there is so much more to their story,” co-directors Morello and Dunn said. “Tracing their incredible 50-year journey, this film will capture how Judas Priest both defined the sound and look of metal, but also made it a more inclusive place along the way. We are grateful to the band for allowing us such intimate, unfiltered access to their lives and look forward to bringing this film to the metal masses around the world.”

The documentary is a production of Banger Films and directed by Sam Dunn and Tom Morello. Producers include Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn. It is executive produced by Tom Morello, Rick Krim, Sheila Stepanek, and Jayne Andrews. Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener and Abby Davis serve as executive producers for Sony Music Vision. ENVELOPE THE SKY Drops Powerful NEW Single “DROWNING” FEATURING AARON NORDSTROM OF GEMINI SYNDROME

A Thunderous Anthem of Struggle and Survival

Prepare to be submerged in a tidal wave of raw emotion and sonic firepower. Rising alt-metal force ENVELOPE THE SKY has just dropped their latest single, "DROWNING," a blistering track that cuts deep into the soul. Amplifying the intensity is a gripping feature from Aaron Nordstrom, lead vocalist of chart-topping industrial-metal heavyweights

Gemini Syndrome.

"DROWNING" is a visceral journey through the chaos of inner conflict — a song that resonates with anyone who's ever fought to stay afloat amidst life's darkest moments. With haunting melodies, seismic riffs, and Nordstrom’s unmistakable voice elevating the chorus to explosive heights, the track captures both the agony of being pulled under and the strength it takes to rise.

"DROWNING" music wise was written during covid when I was at a low point in my life, and it literally encapsulates how I was feeling and that ultimately it just took a really good friend to reach out and ask me how I'm doing.

Jamie's Elsewhere Announce New EP + Share "Traveler" Video

JAMIE'S ELSEWHERE, featuring Of Mice & Men vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley, along with Matt Scarpelli [guitar], Chance Medeiros [bass], and Mike Spearman [keys] — are thrilled to announce the release of Alchemical, their new, five-song EP arriving June 20 via SharpTone Records. It follows the July 2023-released Paradise EP, which marked the band's first new music in almost a decade. Pre-order Alchemical here.

The band has shared the video for the new single "Traveler."

Watch the frenetic clip (and listen to the equally frenetic song) below

"We're excited to be sharing Traveler with the world," says Pauley. "From the inception of this project, we set out to make an EP that takes the listener through a familiar and nostalgic JE sound, that introduces new soundscapes and ideas that we've never explored, and that ventures everywhere in between. We want to thank our fans for the many years of support, and we hope you enjoy this EP."

About "Traveler" and the accompanying video, the band says,  "Working with Mike Matsui on the 'Traveler' music video was an incredible experience. His vision, along with his team's professionalism and creativity, truly brought the project to life in a way that exceeded all expectations."

Pauley, however, sums the new material up concisely and with confidence, saying, "Shit's rad, just listen to it."

You'd be wise to heed his command!

Jamie's Elsewhere enter an even more ambitious chapter with Alchemical. The California quartet continues to evolve its signature sound by blending emotionally charged heavy music with cinematic electronics, huge melodies, and signature intensity. This time, they craft a layered concept exploring transformation, identity, and inner alchemy — where personal growth feels as volatile and mystic as ancient science.

Since their original emergence in 2005, Jamie's Elsewhere has carved a lasting legacy with fan-favorite releases like Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints and They Said a Storm Was Coming, touring alongside genre heavyweights such as Motionless In White, Ice Nine Kills, and Memphis May Fire. After a period of dormancy, the band reignited its creative flame during the pandemic, returning in 2023 with Paradise, a conceptual comeback that reintroduced their vision with new fire. Now, Alchemical raises the bar yet again.

Heavy Rock Outfit Wucan Showcase Their Artistic Depth With New Single + Video for "KTNSAX"

Three years after the release of their studio album Heretic Tongue, the German heavy rock outfit Wucan made a strong statement in March 2025 with the single "Irons in the Fire."

Now the band is following up with the song "KTNSAX," proving their ability to develop artistically.

While "Irons in the Fire" offered a more classic rock energy, "KTNSAX" embarked on a significantly different path. The song turns out to be unexpectedly danceable and, with its straightforward beat, inevitably encourages you to tap along before the powerful, distorted guitar finally paves its energetic way.

Watch the "KTNSAX" video below

Stream the single here.

"'Farm some time, watch it grow,' that line came to me on a Monday morning in September 2024, after two weeks bedridden — and harvesting a solid 12 hours of daily screen time on my phone," says singer Francis Tobolsky. "Twelve hours a day in which I believed I was fully up to date: The latest news, trending memes, my friends' daily lunches – and yet completely disconnected from the world around me. The political climate, social media manipulation, filter bubbles, AI – these were things I needed to process.

"At first glance, it all seems so convenient: The library of the world in our hands, the ability to join any conversation, to be the discourse. And yet we hide behind carefully curated images, profiles on platforms, pretending to be someone we're not… and perhaps even falling for the façades and profit-driven illusions of others. In the end, what remains is the paradoxical truth: Blessed are the ignorant."

German metalcore outfit ACCVSED have unleashed the punishing title track "Dealers of Doom" from their upcoming debut album of the same name, set for release on August 1 via Arising Empire. With previous singles like "Day of the Locust," "Avoider," "Never Enough," "Don't Let Me Fall Apart," and "Killer of Minds," ACCVSED have steadily built a reputation as one of Germany's most promising heavy acts. Each release has amplified their momentum, drawing acclaim for their emotionally raw songwriting and explosive live energy.

"Dealers of Doom" cements the band's vision — unfiltered, intense, and unafraid to confront the darkest corners of the human experience. The debut album is poised to make a serious impact.

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: Awake The Dreamer Share New Single + Video

Swedish metalcore force Awake The Dreamer return with a bang, unveiling both a crushing new single and a revitalized lineup for 2025.

After years of searching, Andrén proudly declares this to be the definitive version of Awake The Dreamer, perfectly poised to elevate the band's sound to new heights.

With work underway on their third album, Andrén promises "the most groundbreaking and unique material ATD has ever produced," staying true to the band's roots while pushing the genre's boundaries.

WATCH the Official Music Video for "Among the Crowd" Below:

Witches Ride is a dark groove machine—part Southern-fried chaos, part industrial ritual. Fusing the bone-crushing swagger of Clutch with the sinister theatrics of Marilyn Manson, this band rides the line between dirty rock ‘n’ roll and occult-fueled spectacle. Think smoke, sweat, and distortion—wrapped in velvet and barbed wire.

Driven by thunderous riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and snarling vocals, Witches Ridebrings a unique alchemy to the stage. With the keys casting eerie atmospheres and haunted textures, the sound is as cinematic as it is feral—blues-born, hell-bound, and soaked in gasoline.

Every show is a ceremony. Every song is a spell. And once you’re under, there’s no turning back.

Welcome to Witches Ride.

KALAMITY KILLS Announces Album Kalamity Kills (Expanded Edition), Arriving September 9th

KALAMITY KILLS continues their relentless ascent with the announcement of their self-titled debut album, Kalamity Kills (Expanded Edition), set for release September 9, 2025 on CD via their own label, PERO RECORDINGS. The announcement arrives with the release of a powerful visualizer available for hit single "Afraid" available HERE. The Expanded Edition of Kalamity Kills will feature not only new tracks, but alt. mixes as well!

Hot on the heels of their Billboard Mainstream Rock and Mediabase Active Rock success with “Starry Skies (988)”—which spent 9 weeks in the Billboard Top 40 and 12 weeks on the Mediabase charts—KALAMITY KILLS channels their uncompromising energy into a fierce anthem that demands attention.

Produced and mixed by Jamey Perrenot, “Afraid” is a bold declaration of resilience and empowerment, driven by razor-sharp guitar riffs, searing vocals, and lyrics that defy submission. Written by Perrenot and Jamie Rowe, the track introduces Julia Lauren Bullock, KALAMITY KILLS’ dynamic new bassist, whose harmonies and background vocals bring a fresh intensity to the band’s sonic identity. While Rob Bodley brings the power on drums in the live lineup, the studio version features a thunderous performance by Ray Luzier of KORN, further elevating the track’s urgency and fire.

The expanded CD edition of Kalamity Kills, which includes “Afraid” and additional exclusive material, will be available in limited quantities starting September 9. A candy apple red vinyl edition is scheduled to follow in April 2026.

About KALAMITY KILLS

KALAMITY KILLS is a hard rock band forged in the heart of East Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2022 by vocalist Jamie Rowe and guitarist/producer Jamey Perrenot, the band emerged from the ashes of a solo project into a fully realized sonic assault—fueled by raw emotion, modern aggression, and a deep respect for rock’s roots. With a sound that fuses the swagger of classic hard rock with the intensity and polish of modern metal, KALAMITY KILLS strikes a rare balance between power and vulnerability.

Best known for their debut self-titled album Kalamity Kills, the band quickly turned heads thanks to high-profile collaborations with members of KORN, 3 DOORS DOWN, LA GUNS, CONQUER DIVIDE, and UNDEROATH. Their music has earned national airplay on SIRIUSXM’s Octane, landed on the Billboard Active Rock charts, and crossed over into viral success without ever chasing trends.

More than just a studio project, KALAMITY KILLS is a growing force with a full live lineup, including bassist/vocalist Julia Lauren Bullock and drummer Rob Bodley. Their songs—ranging from explosive anthems to brutally honest ballads—tackle themes of faith, failure, hypocrisy, redemption, and the messy beauty of being human.

KALAMITY KILLS is for the outsiders, the misfits, the ones who’ve been burned and are still standing. Loud. Unapologetic. Unforgettable.

RONNIE ROMERO Releases New Album ‘Live At Rock Imperium Festival’ — Out Now via Frontiers Music Srl

Legendary singer RONNIE ROMERO is thrilled to announce the release of his new album, ‘Live At Rock Imperium Festival,’ which is out now via Frontiers Music Srl. In addition, ROMERO also shares a fresh track from the album titled "Crossroad." The focus track is accompanied by an official live video, available below.

'Live At Rock Imperium Festival' sees ROMERO delivering an impressive musical performance in front of a huge, passionate audience, in one of the biggest European festivals, the Spanish Rock Imperium Festival, including songs from the first solo and some other highlights like the Dio cover “Rainbow In The Dark."

RONNIE ROMERO comments on the focus:

“A very special and unexpected song we added to the album back in 2023, we were missing a track, and Jose Rubio came with this bluesy riff, so the songwriting was totally improvised! Anyway, this song became a fav for the audience in the shows!!”

Watch the Official Live Video for “Crossroad” Below:

The tracklist for 'Live At Rock Imperium Festival' is mostly based on RONNIE’s latest solo album 'Too Many Lies, Too Many Masters,' which marks the first time that ROMERO has been involved with 100% of the songwriting on an album he sings on.

ROMERO also co-produced the album with Andy C., marking another first for ROMERO. While these 'firsts” certainly add to the excitement for the album, it is the songs that truly take center stage. ROMERO's voice is completely at home on this diverse, hard rockin' set which is certainly going to please any fan of his vocal style and his work with his other bands.

Commenting on 'Live At Rock Imperium Festival', ROMERO states:

“I really wanted to have a live album out, to show everybody how much I enjoy playing music and the capabilities of the musicians I have by my side! It is also a step forward in my solo career. And no better place than my beloved Rock Imperium Festival in Spain! Thanks a lot to Frontiers Music, Manu Giménez, Andy C, and my band for making this possible! ROMERO's voice and prolific musical activity have brought him to the forefront of the hard rock/metal scene where he can be seen/heard with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, The Michael Schenker Group, Lords of Black, The Ferrymen, Sunstorm, and the recently launched Elegant Weapons with Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner. With an impressive discography already under his belt, 'Too Many Lies, Too Many Masters' is arguably the crown jewel of ROMERO's recorded output thus far.

'Too Many Lies, Too Many Masters' follows ROMERO's first two solo albums, both cover albums. 2023's 'Raised On Heavy Radio' saw ROMERO paying tribute to legendary artists from the metal world like Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, Metallica, and more. It also featured special guests like Gus G. (Firewind, Ozzy Osbourne), Chris Caffery (Savatage, Spirits of Fire), Roland Grapow (Masterplan, Helloween), and more.

ROMERO's first solo album, 'Raised On Radio', featured covers of classics that meant something special to ROMERO over the years and helped forge this talented singer's musical style. Songs by legendary acts like Survivor, Bad Company, Foreigner, Queen, Led Zeppelin, and more were given ROMERO's talented vocal treatment.

Kenny Chesney Gets His SPHERE On, No Shoes Nation Finds A New Dimension

They came in rhinestones, flip-flops, grass skirts, stilettos, Bermuda shorts, cowboy boots, Hawaiian shirts and a couple Low Key Bob Fan Club tees. Whatever the look, they all had the same mission: to see where Kenny Chesney was taking No Shoes Nation with his 2025 Vegas Sphere residency, his only live appearances this year.

Triumphantly taking the stage after a far-reaching DJ set by Brandi Cyrus, the East Tennessean kicked off with the longstanding classic “Beer In Mexico” as sugar skulls rained down and animated skulls danced and drank long neck cervezas from Sphere’s wraparound video wall. Between the rush of the band, the intensity of the visuals and the anticipation in the house, the energy onstage and in the room was palpable. But even more, the anticipation of the fans who’d been in line for several hours was met with an integrated experience of sonics, visuals, musicians and heart that met that built-up excitement straight on.

Whether it was the technicolor immersion of cell phones in an aquatic tank in “Welcome to the Fish Bowl,” a song Chesney wrote 15 years ago to take on the invasiveness of social media, the multi-dimensional midway carnival of “Til It’s Gone” or the almost overwhelming swirl of tiles featuring images from the “Noise” video, Chesney and the Revival met the moment – and the increased production values – with a real passion that saw an audience dancing and clapping with stadium-sized abandon.

“It’s overwhelming a little,” Chesney says, “beyond the visuals, which build and move, the fans are so close – even in the 400 section – that you’re consumed by all of it when you look up. But it makes you feel so alive to have everyone right there, rocking, singing and almost beyond being in the moment.”

When Kelsea Ballerini appeared on top of a small riser in a mirror sequined mini dress and high ponytail, it was clear this will be a residence of real surprises. Reaching out to his friend and “half of my hometown” partner, the pair blazed through an unplanned “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” as well as their No. 1 duet and Ballerini sitting in for Grace Potter on “You & Tequila.”

“We have the ability to add things in, change it up,” the artist who’s done surprise college bar tours, beach takeovers on the Alabama/Florida line, two dozen major stadiums a summer and three consecutive nights at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium says of the flexibility. “Even with this 4-D production, we can keep the spontaneity and in the moment magic that have made our shows a revival and right of summer for the last twenty years.”

The only country artist to be in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years for the last 15 years, Chesney joins the very select handful of cultural icons and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees U2, (Grateful) Dead & Company and the Eagles, plus Phish for four very singular concerts to play the 17,600-seat spherical venue deploys next-generation technologies. The world’s highest resolution LED display wraps up, over and around the audience, creating a fully immersive visual environment.

Over a year in the making, Chesney and his team, along with experts from Sphere Studios’ advanced tech and creative teams, captured content, as well deployed cutting-edge animation techniques, to create a whole new experience in how the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar’s music is experienced. It all came together last night in Las Vegas where the crowd roared with delight, took over “American Kids” and “Anything But Mine” with a fervor that matched the largest stadium shows.

Drawing on songs never performed live, including the sweeping “One Lonely Island” and a mesmerizing “Seven Days,” the songs also took on an intimacy to match the moment. For everyone who’d traveled to the Nevada desert for the first time ever, not only were their expectations more than met, the window to what’s possible over the next several weeks has been opened. Get ready.

“We knew as we rehearsed in Sphere the last couple days this was going to be intense,” Chesney explains. “But nothing can prepare you for seeing No Shoes Nation flying through the underwater landscapes, coming over the top of pirate ships and being dropped into a pin ball machine. The looks of joy, awe and total wow on their faces did all of our hearts good.

“I can’t believe we have to wait until Saturday night to do it all over again.”

LAINEY WILSON’S NEW SINGLE “SOMEWHERE OVER LAREDO” OUT TODAY

6x ACM, 9x CMA and Grammy Award-winning artist Lainey Wilson’s new single, “Somewhere Over Laredo,” is out today via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Listen Below.

Written by Wilson, Trannie Anderson, Dallas Wilson and Andy Albert, the song honors the timeless classic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” while showcasing Wilson’s poignant storytelling and authentic country sound, as she reflects on past love and pays tribute to small towns across the country.

Wilson will perform the song live for the first time at the 2025 American Music Awards this Monday, May 26, where she is nominated for Favorite Female Country Artist.

Officially impacting radio this Tuesday, May 27 via Broken Bow Records, fans will hear the new track as it world premieres across all major U.S. Country Radio Stations today.

The release adds to yet another triumphant year for Wilson, who won four awards at the 60th Annual ACM Awards earlier this month: Entertainer of the Year (her second consecutive win), Female Artist of the Year (her third consecutive win), Album of the Year (Whirlwind) and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. During the awards ceremony, she also debuted new song, “Trailblazer,” with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert, which she wrote with Lambert and Brandy Clark.

Additionally, Wilson is in the midst of her nearly sold-out Whirlwind World Tour, which includes stops at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Austin’s Moody Center, Baton Rouge’s Raising Cane’s River Center Arena and Denver’s Ball Arena among many others. The upcoming dates follow the tour’s first leg—a completely sold-out extensive run across the U.K and Europe earlier this year. See below for the complete tour itinerary. Full details can be found at www.laineywilson.com/tour.

In just the past year, Wilson was also inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, performed during the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Halftime Show, won Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards and two awards at the 58th CMA Awards, where she also made her hosting debut alongside Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan. Wilson also received two awards at this year’s ACM Honors: the prestigious Triple Crown Award—presented to those who have won ACM Entertainer of the Year, Female/Male Vocalist of the Year and New Female/Male Vocalist of the Year—and the Milestone Award, which is given to an artist who has had an unprecedented or outstanding year in country music.

A prolific and sought-after songwriter, Wilson has scored eight #1 hits including “4x4xU,” “Watermelon Moonshine” and the 2x Platinum Certified “Heart Like A Truck,” and has collaborated with artists such as Post Malone (“Nosedive”), Cole Swindell (“Never Say Never”), Jelly Roll (“Save Me”), HARDY (“wait in the truck”) and Myles Smith (“Nice To Meet You”). She is also a triple threat within entertainment as a singer, songwriter and actor and will make her feature film acting debut in next year’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him, after first acting in Paramount’s hit television series, Yellowstone. Moreover, Wilson wrote and recorded “Out of Oklahoma,” which was featured in the new Twisters movie.

Ryan Woods Shares New Single "Good Swim"

FEARLESS RECORDS artist Ryan Woods has shared the new single "Good Swim."

Watch the lyric video below.

"I actually wrote 'Good Swim' for a family member's wedding," Woods shares. "It started off as a poem, and though I had never experienced love enough to get married, it was inspired by an idyllic version of it. I asked myself, 'If I were so in love with somebody that I would marry them, what would that feel like?' I think it would feel like a 'good swim' on a hot summer day. Refreshing, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Like a vacation from life itself. A safe place to unwind and not think about the world, and simply rejoice in the love that we have for each other. A place where fear has little power, and the courage to dive into it is celebrated and rewarded."

Woods finishes, "Love is complex and far from easy, but so is swimming. It gets easier the more you do it. You grow stronger and faster, and once you learn how to swim, it's very difficult to drown."

Indeed, "Good Swim" is your feel good hit of your summer. Kicking off with a lilting and dreamy piano melody, the kind that makes you wake up with a smile only our face, it slowly builds to a pretty, mid-tempo, bedroom-y pop jam. Woods is an old soul with a thoroughly modern lean — he's essentially a Gen Z troubadour! The song's '70s inspired melodies and his delightfully saccharine voice are ALL the serotonin boosters you need.

Woods previously shared "Full Speed Ahead."

The singer will also play a show at The Echo in Los Angeles on July 30, with Jack Newsome. Get tickets here.

ABOUT RYAN WOODS:
After one listen, it would be easy to assume Ryan Woods fell from the heavens and landed smack dab in the middle of modern pop music and culture. He defies genres and eras with an otherworldly je ne sais quoi. Flaunting a sky-high range and head-turning fashion sense, Woods exudes a swaggering gusto befitting of your favorite '70s rock star, yet he opens up with a level of candor decidedly intrinsic to Gen Z. Musically, he laces D.I.Y. pop with psychedelic experimentation and existential ruminations that are both provocative and catchy. Initially, he gained traction with covers on social media, even inciting a retweet from Shawn Mendes. Woods has cultivated his signature style by logging countless hours in both Nashville and Los Angeles sessions. "Bad Texter" was a breakthrough moment in 2021 — reeling in over 28 million Spotify streams and counting, it paved the way for his King of the Basement EP. Of the latter, Thomas Bleach raved, "This EP highlights that growth and introspective manner that has made him an artist you need to keep an eye on," while INTERSECT Magazine applauded, "Woods' lyrics are poetic, witty, and most of all, authentic." Now partnered with Fearless, Woods is ready to bring his dreamy compositions, which are so much more than bedroom pop, to an even wider audience.

The Band Light Unveils Hypnotic New Song "Dreamboat" Out Now via Red Van Records

Pop-rock group The Band Light returns with their infectious new song “Dreamboat,” released today on Red Van Records. Written by band members Konnor Dolberry and Trevor Young, and produced by multi-platinum hitmaker John Fields (Jonas Brothers, Switchfoot, Demi Lovato), the track captures the messy magic of infatuation with lyrical bite and sonic sparkle. Listen below.

Fronted by Konnor Dolberry (lead vocals), alongside Jack Glenn (bass/vocals), Garrett Goodrich (lead guitar/vocals) and Trevor Young (drums/vocals), The Band Light formed through a high school music production class and quickly found undeniable chemistry both on and off the stage. Since then, they’ve built a dedicated fanbase and amassed over one million streams across platforms.

Built around a hypnotic groove and late-night confessions, “Dreamboat” captures the messy thrill of desire and emotional chaos. With lines like “So call me up / When we’re both drunk / And fill my cup / I’m all stirred up,the song mixes raw vulnerability with tongue-in-cheek charm – an intoxicating cocktail of heartache and hookiness. Dolberry and Young blend their lyrical edge with crisp, shimmering production, giving “Dreamboat” a sound both familiar and new.

“‘Dreamboat’ lives in that blurry space between bad decisions and irresistible connection,” the band shares. “It’s equal parts moody and playful – something we think a lot of people can relate to.”

Fans can catch The Band Light live this summer at Musicians Corner in Nashville’s Centennial Park on June 13, joining a season lineup that includes Brittney Spencer, Noah Gundersen, Sixpence None The Richer and more. The group will also perform as special guests for Switchfoot on July 13 at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater in Illinois.

With “Dreamboat,” The Band Light continues to carve a distinct lane in the pop-rock landscape with infectious energy, sharp musicianship and irresistible charm.

MÈLANCOLIA - ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM 'RANDOM.ACCESS.MISERY' + SHARE DARK NEW SINGLE 'ALL_IS_RUST'

Melbourne blackened nu-metal outfit MÉLANCOLIA announce their sophomore album random.access.misery will be available Friday August 29 via Nuclear Blast and Greyscale Records. The band share scathing new single 'ALL_IS_RUST' as a vicious taste of what's to come.

'ALL_IS_RUST' serves as both a declaration of evolution and a warning: MÉLANCOLIA are not here to follow trends—they’re here to dismantle them. The new single is the introduction to MÉLANCOLIA’s forthcoming album, blending metalcore, deathcore, industrial noise, blast beats and DJ scratching into a hellish sonic cocktail. The song welcomes listeners to their new sound and a genre the band have coined as “Blackened Nu Metal”.

'ALL_IS_RUST' marries the sound, aesthetic and visuals from their debut album,'HissThroughRottenTeeth', into one cohesive package; "While there has been a departure from straight up deathcore, we feel this song sounds even more representative of MÉLANCOLIA," says vocalist Alex Hill"And after testing the waters debuting this song in Europe earlier this year we can confirm this one is already a crowd favourite."

Picked as one of four "brilliant new metal bands you need to hear" by Metal Hammer in April, the band are primed and ready and unleash their defining new album this August; "We are bringing a fresh sound to an otherwise stale scene, you will not hear what we are doing from anyone else. We are setting the trend as we set the bar for modern heavy music. Love us or hate us, you will fucking remember us."

Momentum is at an all time high for the band, having toured Australia three times over off the back of HissThroughRottenTeethand breaking into Europe and the UK twice on tours with SUFFOCATION (US) and INGESTED (UK). The band will join THY ART IS MURDER on a regional lap of Australia this June and July and will debut some of their new music for the very first time.

After establishing themselves in 2022 with their debut single 'Horror_Ethereal', the band announced the following February their signing to both Greyscale Records for Australia/New Zealand and Nuclear Blast for the rest of the world. They released their debut album HissThroughRottenTeeth April 2023, crafting a unique sound that has already catapulted them to new heights. Their very first show was in 2023 supporting THY ART IS MURDER on their Decade Of Hate Australian Tour alongside STARVE and JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED. Since this they’ve toured with TO THE GRAVE, FALLUJAH (US), CATTLE DECAPITATION (US), INGESTED (UK), VULVODYNIA (SA), SUFFOCATION (US) and many more.
