Beauty In Chaos presents ‘Hollow’ ft. Cynthia Isabella from latest ‘Signs In The Heavens Reality Upside Down’ album

The evolving revolving world-wide entity known as Beauty In Chaos presents ‘Hollow’ (Crimson Cupid Mix)’ with stunning ethereal vocals by Cynthia Isabella. The video for this ‘goth-gaze’ version was filmed and directed by Vicente Cordero (Industrialism Films) and edited by Ryan Conlon with additional footage from Isabella.

This is the second taste of their latest album ‘Signs In The Heavens Reality Upside Down’, recently released via 33.3 Music Collective. In following with BIC's modus operandi, this 29-track Limited Edition double-CD offers re-envisioned versions of tracks from their fourth studio release, 'Dancing With Angels', along with two bonus tracks.

Based in Los Angeles, Beauty In Chaos formed in 2018 by guitarist Michael Ciravolo(formerly of Human Drama and Gene Loves Jezebel and current President of Schecter Guitars) with Grammy-nominated producer Michael Rozon (Ministry, Jarboe, Wayne Hussey, The Melvins), who also mixed and co-produced Ministry’s upcoming ‘Squirrelly Years’ album (out in summer 2025).

“I feel ‘Hollow’ is a standout track on ‘Dancing With Angels’, but thought with Cynthia and I’s mutual affinity for ‘90s shoegaze, we could show it in a different light.  Michael Rozon and I redid everything except Cynthia’s original vocals…. Revamping the chords and adding a judicious amount of fuzz and reverb drenched guitars!!”  Ciravolo also alluded that the ‘crimson cupid’ moniker given to this re-envision was more than a slight nod to My Bloody Valentine!” says Michael Ciravolo.

“We shot the ‘band’ footage to the album version of ‘Hollow’ while on set of ‘Diving For Pearls’.  When we recorded this remix version, Cynthia and I thought we could morph in some new footage, and with some ‘movie magic’,  I think we got a beautiful visual throwback to those great ‘90s 4AD/Creation videos!”

Ciravolo’s and Isabella’s paths crossed by chance when her band Silence in The Snowwas performing at The Echo in Los Angeles. Her new project Lost Gems is a collaboration with producer Alex DeGroot (co-producer and live multi-instrumentalist for Zola Jesus).

“We talked after about a shared love for many bands and musicians.  After we collaborated on ‘Hollow’, we decided to pursue a remix version inspired by our admiration for Lush, MBV and Slowdive, which has turned out to be a really fun and beautiful experience!  Being invited into the BIC collective and creating music with truly good people is a gift,” says Cynthia Isabella.

Earlier, Beauty In Chaos shared a ‘back-to-back’ video of  'Children Of The Revolution' featuring Ministry’s Al Jourgensen on vocals and 'Open Your Eyes', paying homage to T.Rex / Marc Bolan and The Lords of the New Church, respectively.

Returning participants in the chaos-fun include Ashton Nyte, Mark Gemini Thwaite, Kitty Lectro, Tyler Bates, Kevin Kipnis and Julian Shah-Tayler, with a cast of newcomers as William Faith (The Bellwether Syndicate), Frontal Boundary and Combichrist’s Andy LaPlegua. Beauty In Chaos also worked with Ashton Nyte and Cynthia Isabella to create two ‘almost acoustic’ versions of their songs, which Ciravolo cites amongst his favorites.

Previous BIC releases involve members of The Cure, Ministry, Cheap Trick, The Offspring, Gene Loves Jezebel, Marilyn Manson, Human Drama, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, Van Halen, A Flock of Seagulls, dUg Pinnick (Kings X), ICE-T, Rolan Bolan, and guitar icon Zakk Wylde.

Sodom Announce New Album "The Arsonist" + Share Video for "Trigger Discipline"

We all know that good music is always also a question of sound. To this end, the human factor is crucial — along with the right equipment, of course — after all it's about authenticity and individual personality. With that in mind, German thrash metal band Sodom have come to a logical conclusion: To enable the most natural production possible, the drum parts on their latest album The Arsonist were recorded using a 24-track analog tape machine.

No studio tricks, no digital overdubs, or, to quote frontman Tom Angelripper: "No plastic! The difference in sound compared to today's standard drum productions is amazing and has had a positive effect on all the instruments. Naturally, time and effort as well as costs were also higher, but we're happy to fork out for a superior result."

However, it's not only the complex production process that testifies to the band's exceptional creative spirit, but also their diverse songwriting, which saw all four Sodom musicians — the aforementioned Tom Angelripper (vocals, bass), Frank Blackfire (guitar), York Segatz (guitar) and Toni Merkel (drums) — involved in the development of the material on The Arsonist. 

Tom Angelripper continues, "Frank contributed those typical Sodom riffs and hooks again, whereas York favors more epic songwriting. As a perfect complement to both of them, Toni, who is also an excellent guitarist, contributed a number of songs and helped to make the album even more versatile."

The first single and lyric video "Trigger Discipline," the toughest song on The Arsonist, is released today. The song sounds equally martial and is about a sniper who has completely lost control of his actions and shoots people indiscriminately.

NECROPHOBIC Unleashes Official Video for “Nordanvind,” Announces Digital-EP

Swedish blackened death metal masters NECROPHOBIC are now unveiling the official music video for the song "Nordanvind," which is taken from the band's 2024 full-length album, 'In the Twilight Grey." The video was created by Jens Rydén and can be found below.

”Nordanvind is a hymn to the north. A tribute to our home and our ancestors," says NECROPHOBIC. “The song captures the sound of the cold north wind and the melodies and secrets that lay hidden within it. It’s a song about once again reuniting and being one with the soil we were once made of!"

In addition, the band is now revealing their new 'Nordanvind' digital EP, which includes two additional songs: ”Blackened the Horizon” and a cover of W.A.S.P.’s ”The Torture Never Stops."

“W.A.S.P. is a band that we were very inspired by when it comes to their live shows, appearance

and imagery, especially around the time of 1984-1985," the band explains.

Eschewing the self-conscious amateurism and primitive sonics that many of their peers held dear, NECROPHOBIC established a bold and vivid identity of their own, conjuring a densely melodic, but endlessly wicked take on macabre extreme metal that countless lesser bands have since emulated.

Hiroe Announce New Album "Wield" + Share "Tides" Video

Hiroe, the new darlings of the American post-rock underground, will release their debut album, Wield, on June 20 via Pelagic Records. Pre-order Wield here. 

The band has released their first single from Wield, the titanic-sized "Tides."

Both powerfully melodic and heavy, Wield shows the Philadelphia-based quintet mastering their craft, of creating compelling melodies that sound larger than life.

"The intention for 'Tides' was to evoke aural imagery akin to an unstoppable force colliding with an immovable object," comments the band. "Our studio intern's observation perfectly captured this sentiment: 'It sounds like a soundtrack for Godzilla fighting King Kong.' There's an undercurrent of frustration woven into the song. It serves as a metaphor for the very universal human experience for us all — the constant challenges, both monumental and mundane, that we all face in a struggle to exist."

2022 saw Hiroe burst onto the scene with an explosive debut EP full of soaring anthems and sublime soundscapes. Combining the sonic expansiveness of Deftones with the dynamic heaviness of bands like Isis and Caspian, Hiroe immediately already figured out how to make the most majestic sounding post-rock early in their career. 

"Our first release, Wrought, was a statement of creation," explains principal songwriter and guitarist Eric Kusanagi.
 
For the recording of Wield, Jill Paslier moved from bass to guitars, with Brian Kong (guitars), Jon Seiler (bass) and Dan Sagherian (drums) joining to complete the lineup. Produced once more by Mario Quintero (Spotlights), Wield capitalizes on everything the band learned in the creation of its predecessor, adding to it a new focus on textural intricacies and compositional detail.
 
"We wanted to show a larger range of musical themes on this record," continues Kusanagi. "You'll hear us dive into some synth work, some piano work, some really interesting effects that Mario helped us dial up." 

As a result, Wield packs in a huge range of details, which reveal themselves over repeated listens. 
 
Nevertheless, Wield is still an affair of instant gratification for fans of guitar driven post-rock. From the soaring leads of "Tides" to the epic finale of "I've Been Waiting For You All My Life," Hiroe show they've upped their game in every department, but especially that which tugs at your heartstrings.

Wield presents the brave new future we all need in these confusing times. A new American frontier on which we can build our wildest dreams and our most daring ambitions.

Melodic rockers GIANT are pleased to unveil their new single and lyric video “A Night To Remember," taken from their new upcoming album 'Stand And Deliver,' out on May 16, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Originally formed in the late '80s by brothers Dann and David Huff, together with the experienced jazz and rock keyboardist Alan Pasqua and Nashville session bass player Mike Brignardello, GIANT would soon become one of the most respected bands of the melodic hard rock scene, with the release of their debut album 'Last Of The Runaways' (A&M Records, 1989).

Following countless live performances in support of their debut, the band released the follow-up 'Time To Burn' (Epic, 1991), an album still regarded as a main source of influence for many melodic and hard rock bands who came after. With the sudden change of musical climate in the early '90s, GIANT disbanded with their members becoming involved in different projects, with both Dann and David Huff becoming well respected producers.

In 2001, Frontiers prompted GIANT to release 'III', an album that would prove to be a landmark in the growth of the new era Melodic Rock scene, particularly in Europe. Unfortunately, Dann's busy schedule along with the other members' commitments made the reunion impossible to carry on as had originally been planned; however, the vision of bringing GIANT back as a band with a recording and touring line-up was something that the band was still open to exploring, even if Dann had to step away.

Thus, original members, drummer David Huff and bassist Mike Brignardello, with the blessing of Dann started endless research for the right musicians that could be part of a renewed GIANT line-up. In the end, the choice fell on vocalist Terry Brock (ex-Strangeways) and guitarist John Roth (Winger, Starship).

The resulting album, 'Promise Land' soon became a fan favorite, showcasing top quality songwriting and performances. GIANT, however, went into hibernation again, with the exception of a one-off show in 2017, where the original band members reunited on a Nashville club stage for a charity event.

That event piqued fan interest and Frontiers and David Huff started talking again to see if they could manage to find the right formula for a new album from GIANT. When the Swedish bandPerfect Plan released a cover version of the GIANT’s original hit “Stay” in 2019, all the pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place.

Huff and Brignardello were keen on the idea of Kent handling lead vocals for the next GIANTrelease. Dann Huff gave his seal of approval, appearing on lead guitar on the single “Never Die Young”, which anticipated the successful release in 2022 of the 'Shifting Time' album.

Behemoth Premiere Video For New Single "Lvciferaeon"

Poland's kings of extreme metal, BEHEMOTH, have unveiled a stunning music video for their new single "Lvciferaeon."

Filled to the brim with iconic, blasphemous imagery, the video for "Lvciferaeon" follows the tradition of cinematic and spectacular music videos for which Behemoth have always been known.

Similar to "The Shadow Elite," the last single from their highly anticipated thirteenth studio album The Shit Ov God, "Lvciferaeon" encapsulates both the band's raw black metal roots and the vicious grandeur of modern-era Behemoth.

NERGAL comments, "It seems fitting to announce 'Lvciferaeon' as our next single amongst all the protest activity seen on the streets of the 'Unholy Trinity' Tour. Mawiza Follow the Moon on New Video

While still ascending on the metal scene, Mawiza are empowered by their indigenous roots.

The Chilean band hail from the ancestral territory of Wallmapu, which belongs to the Mapuche Nation. By proudly embracing ancestral instruments, traditional chanting and the Mapuzungun language, their style of groove metal has brought them international acclaim. They've won a Chilean Grammy and performed alongside Mercyful Fate, Mastodon, Slipknot and Gojira. Having now signed with the French label Season of Mist, this year, Mawiza are releasing their spirited third album, which RollingStone named one of the 15 Latin Albums that they can't wait to hear.

As this band of warriors prepare to set up on new horizons, today, Mawiza are releasing a new video. Though the song reflects how their culture has changed, "Killari" beams with the strength that they draw from their native land.

Mawiza have shared a stage with metal's biggest influences, but the band are guided by the spirit of nature. In English, "Killari" means "Moonlight". Much like its namesake, the song reveals its transformative energy in phases. Double bass scampers under the cover of darkness as a clean, somber guitar melody is plucked like stars from the sky. "Chomü rayen teyfükan  (Destroy the withered flower)", the band howl in unison. "Taiñ mongen ñi afkülekan / Re rükükan mew (End our existence / Out of pure selfishness)".  

At home, Mawiza have seen the Mapuche Nation endure troubling times. Trees on their land have been cut down by developers. Many people from the tribe have been forced to move into the city. "My mother taught me to respect all life", says the band's vocalist and rhythm guitarist Awka. Between its scraping dissonant riffs and the flowing proggy grooves of bassist Zewü, "Killari" waxes and wanes between sorrow and anger. But by following the moon, the band find strength in transformation. "Wenu peaymi / Look to the sky!", Awka shouts with both his spear and axe raised as the drums circle into a thunderous breakdown. 

"You can feel low in the night", says Awka, who identifies as non-binary. "Our people have often witnessed oppression against those deemed 'deviant', 'nefarious' or 'diabolical' for not fitting into the concept of man and woman. In ancient times, masculinity and femininity were respected and understood as real forces in constant communication, prayer and movement. But as time passed, through way and the loss of the Spanish crown, the image of the Mapuche man became idealized as virile, strong and an overwhelming warrior, while the woman was seen as the source of future heirs.

"If there is one concept that we as young Mapuche embrace, it's total decolonization", he continues. "As wentxu or 'men' of the Mapuche people, we need zomo newen or 'feminine strength' to exist in a permanent state within each of us. We protect our Epu püllü or 'two spirits' with songs like 'Killari'.
    
"I feel a deep connection to the moon and how it influences all cycles of nature, including the transformation within ourselves", says drummer Txalkan, who wrote the music for "Killari". "The song weaves together rhythms and claves from various Latin American percussion styles. When I play it, I try and reflect that sense of movement and evolution through its variations". 

The video for "Killari" also reflects the changing forces within the Mapuche Nation. "In popular culture, Indians are often shown wearing dirty clothes or being covered in mud", the band says. "We wanted to look like kings". To make this fashion statement, they collaborated with three of the most prominent trendsetters in Latin America. Their stylish outfits were designed by Matías Hernán (@matias_hernan), Ceremonia (@ceremonia_) and Labios Enfermos (@labios.enfermos).

Even the filming location for "Killari" was chosen after an artist's own heart. What was once an abandoned underwear factory was converted by Chilean artist Beatrice di Girolamo into a woodworking studio. It's here, in this re-imagined space, that Mawiza uncover a modern piece of Mapuche artwork in the climbing light of Karü's  guitar solo. "Killari" first appeared on the band's previous album Kollong, which in English means 'mask'. While kollongs are traditionally carved from wood, by adding bits of moss and industrial plastic, this new version pieces together all the current aspects of Mapuche culture. 

"Naq uwamtuymi ta lüq pelom / Feel the white light descending", Awka chants. As he dons the mask, Mawiza becomes the sworn protectors of this illuminating ceremony.   
     
"Some ancient Mapuche concepts are impossible to translate" Awka says. "It would be easy to say that our society was inclusive with non-binary and gender-fluid people. But it is far more complex. Our words are not static. Our weavings are not tied with blind knots. Our ruke or 'house' are made to be disassembled.

"Our machi have always embodied this from the most visible perspective", he continues. "The body is a vessel for forces. The feminine force of küyen is crucial to our understanding and daily lives as Mapuche. Look to the sky and you can find the strength of your mother".  

The video for "Killari" was directed by  Andrés Hetzler (@andreshetzler).

In 2023, Mawiza released the single “Txükur” with the Mapuche rapper MC Millaray and a tremendous and very particular version of Metallica's “Battery”, which they adapted to Mapuzungun.

In August 2023, Mawiza were invited to record a live session by Joe Duplantier, leader of Gojira and owner of Silver Chord Studios in New York. They also visited West West Side Studio, owned by renowned producer Alan Douches and performed an acoustic concert at Selva Gallery in Brooklyn.

At the end of 2024, Mawiza re-released Kollong. This version includes new recordings of vocals done entirely in Mapuzungun and drums re-recorded by Txalkan.

This year, Mawiza will release their third album on Season of Mist.

British Rock Icons SKUNK ANANSIE Release New Single "Lost and Found" + Music Video

Today, British rock icons SKUNK ANANSIE have released their new single "Lost And Found," following its worldwide premiere on BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq show. Opening with Skin’s lone vocal before a staccato piano motif starts to accompany her, "Lost and Found" is a striking example of the beauty and drama contained on the band’s forthcoming album 'The Painful Truth,' out on May 23rd via FLG.

The video for "Lost And Found" was scripted and directed by Skin. Shot in Munich by the band and India Fleming, the video tells the story of Skin splitting into two personalities after bumping into a demon (Mark Richardson) disguised as a human. The story is told backwards starting with ’Lost’ Skin bloody, bruised and broken, intermingled with her as ‘Found’ Skinperforming with the band.

On the new single, Skin comments:

“We wanted to evoke the loneliness and desperation that can occur in a split second by one tiny mistake. Any of us at any time can lose the security built up over a lifetime whether it be via an accident, or a sudden twist of fate.”

'The Painful Truth' is a truly mesmerizing, provocative, powerful and emotional album demonstrating a band at the absolute peak of their powers, yet with everything to prove. 

“I don’t care that we were big in the Nineties,” states vocalist Skin. “Creatively it’s irrelevant because in my rock bible the first commandment states, 'If thy rest on them laurels thy shall wither up and die artistically, musically, mentally. And then financially.'”

And for Skin, the past counts for nothing. Even when you’ve been a band for 30 years and history seems on your side. 'The Painful Truth' is the sound of SKUNK ANANSIE facing up to who they are and what they want to become. It is more than an album title. It is a reality that they have lived through.

A combination of parenthood, illness, and the departure of their longstanding manager seemed to conspire against them and add to their uncertainty, forcing singer Skin, guitarist Ace, bass player Cass and drummer Mark to question their place in the world as a band, as well as their own personal ambitions. For a while, they came close to calling it a day.

Unsure of what to do, and failing to write on zoom, the four-piece retreated post-Covid to a farmhouse in Devon where amid frank conversations and home-cooked dinners, they slowly began collating their feelings into songs.

“When we write it’s just the four of us in a room with no outside distractions or interference, getting to know each other again. We’d done the Greatest Hits tour and we realized that things needed to change. If we didn’t do something fresh and forward thinking, we couldn’t really be a band anymore. We’d just be doing SKUNK karaoke,” says Skin bluntly.

And 'The Painful Truth' is anything but SKUNK karaoke. Produced by David Sitek of TV On The Radio fame, it’s a fresh, frank, uplifting, and textured album, with the band’s knack for writing big pop songs remaining defiantly undiminished. If anything, their hooks this time around are sharper and sink in quicker. 

The first single, "An Artist Is An Artist", is proof of that; a witty, provocative, pulsating slice of spiky, new-wave brilliance has been greeted with a rapturous reception from fans and media alike, proving a radio smash with playlists on BBC6Music, Kerrang Radio, Planet Rock and Absolute alongside being championed by Jo Whiley on Radio 2. And, today's brand new single "Cheers", which rides along on a deeply infectious, pulsating rhythm and boasts a truly euphoric chorus, demonstrates once more the sheer quality and ambition of the new album.

Ryan Woods Returns With New Single "Full Speed Ahead"

FEARLESS RECORDS artist Ryan Woods returns with his brand new, bedroom-y pop single "Full Speed Ahead."

Despite the title, the song is a dreamy, beautifully lazy slow burn. Woods sings the poignant lyrics, his voice drenched in emotion. "Full Speed Ahead" escalates in the choruses, giving full-on The Beatles' vibes alongside '60s-inspired harmonizing. It's like six songs all rolled into one.

"I wrote 'Full Speed Ahead' during quite a confusing time in my love life," Woods shares, laying his emotional cards face up on the table. "Being someone who has endured deep pain and trauma from past relationships, moving on, and healing is a very long and difficult process."

Woods continues, "I had quickly developed deep feelings for someone and the fact that they were reciprocating was thrilling, yet it also scared me to death. I felt like a deer in headlights, looking upon a train moving 'Full Speed Ahead.' My once-pure and beautiful feelings were now poisoned by fear and daunt. How excited I was to love somebody! But will they set me free or rub salt in my wounds?"

Written in motion – on the road, in hotel rooms, and across continents – it reflects the raw energy of their return to the global festival circuit after an 11-year hiatus. UNATØNED was recorded at Robb's Jam Room, Sharkbite Studios, and Drop Of Sun Recording between July 2023 and December 2024. The album was produced by Robb Flynn as well as Zack Ohren who was also responsible for the engineering. The mixing and mastering was handled by Colin Richardson and Chris Clancy at Audioworks UK and the mastering of the record was handled by Ted Jensen and his assistant Justin Shturtz. The only exception was the track 'LANDSCAPE ØF THØRNS' which was produced by Flynn and Joel Wanasek who was also in charge of mixing the single alongside Zack Ohren. Ecce Shnak shares live performance in support of debut Shadows Grow Fangs' EP

Alternative art-rockers Ecce Shnak present 'Prayer On Love' Live at Backroom Studios, a class performance of one of the highlight tracks on their debut 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP'. A quintet that seemingly never sleeps, they shared videos for the EP's high-energy title track and it's only ballad   'Stroll With Me', just a few weeks ago.

Throughout June, Ecce Shnak (pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock) will be touring with platinum-selling legends Spacehog and EMF, hitting the U.S. West coast. Kicking things off in San Jose, California on June 14, the tour wraps up on June 28 in Las Vegas.

Frontman David Roush is composer, bassist and one of two singers, joined by Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums). If there’s a fine line between wild-eyed, inspired genius and utter, irrepressible insanity, that’s where you’ll find Ecce Shnak, teetering on a neon tightrope.

Released via Record Man, Records, this EP showcases incomparable ingenuity and limitless invention, the NYC quintet delivering a sonic experience that blends art-rock and punk energy with some unexpected twists. Running the gamut from slow-burning meditations on love’s indispensability to mockery of the web from the perspective of a time-traveling poet, this EP is an intricately constructed, methodically fashioned, and undeniably offbeat... as serious and logical as it’s entertaining.

Recorded and produced by Jeff Lucci at the Art Farm (NY), this EP was mixed by Nicholas Vernhes  (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, The Fiery Furnaces, Dirty Projectors, Wild Nothing, The War on Drugs) and mastered by Grammy award-winning sound engineer Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend, FKA Twigs, Twenty One Pilots).

Ecce Shnak subverts notions of style, playfully but reverently embracing multiple forms across the spectrum, while addressing weighty themes and notable trivia with striking articulacy. 'The Internet' is an eclectic gem that makes a fine mockery of the web from the perspective of a time-travelling poet. 'Prayer on Love' is a downtempo groove-inducing opus and the lead track 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy' is a hammering 150-seconds about 19th Century English philosopher Jeremy Bentham,  combining math-metal, post-rock and choral anthems. Folk gem 'Stroll With Me' weaves classical guitar into a ballad about a beloved friend who chose to leave this Earth.

 
The 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP is out now, available from fine music platforms, includingSpotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and Bandcamp.  Tickets for the Spacehog / EMF / Ecce Shnak tour are now on sale, as are tickets for Ecce Shnak's upcoming May 7 show at NYC's Mercury Lounge. They will be joined by blues-inflected leather-clad punk rock trio OBOY! and British psych-garage trio Tummyache.

Progressive Metallers EMPYREAN SANCTUM Release New Single "Descent" + Music Video

Today, progressive metallers EMPYREAN SANCTUM are please to release their new single"Descent" off of their upcoming album 'Detachment From Reality,' out on April 18th. The single is accompanied by a music video available to view below.

The mastermind behind EMPYREAN SANCTUM, Justin Kellerman, shares on the single:

"'Descent' deals with depression, being stagnant, lacking purpose, and feeling completely broken with a yearning to feel whole again. Many of us have experienced this or are currently. This song is a reminder that you are not alone, and to reach deep within and love yourself."

Justin Kellerman, founder/guitarist/composer of EMPYREAN SANCTUM, alongside vocalist Albert Rybka (Katagory V), formed the project in 2007 with a shared love and passion for progressive music.

The debut album was released in 2013 featuring Fabio D'Amore (Serenity, ex-Pathosray) on bass. This 71-minute concept album explores a person's search to find the EMPYREAN SANCTUM, using fantasy as a metaphor for personal struggle. With its double meaning, EMPYREAN SANCTUM represents one's purpose in life and escape from the harsh truths of reality. For Justin, music is his EMPYREAN SANCTUM.

For this follow-up release, Justin has recruited drummer Hannes Grossmann (Alkaloid, Triptykon, Eternity's End, ex-Obscura, ex-Necrophagist) and bassist Alex Weber(Revocation, Exist, ex-Obscura) to pack a punch of technicality and precision in the rhythm section. The album also features guest appearances from Per Nilsson (Scar Symmetry, ex-Meshuggah) and Gabriel Riccio (The Gabriel Construct).

Mixed by David Castillo at Studio Grondahl and mastered by Thomas "Plec" Johansson at The Panic Room, 'Detachment From Reality' offers a much more sophisticated sound, taking listeners through an emotional journey packed with twists and turns. The subject matter deals with personal struggle and the reality of the human condition. This densely layered, cinematic experience is packed with musical complexity, catchy melodies, and dynamic variation. Revealing more details with each listen and leaving you captivated, you'll be sure to find a way to connect with this new release.

30A Life Record's Bradley Gaskin Joins TKO for Booking

Duck Springs, Ala native, Bradley Gaskin, has signed with The Kirby Organization (TKO) for global booking representation. TKO, one of the industries premier boutique booking agencies, boasts a diverse roster with offices in New York, Los Angeles, London and a Nashville office with veteran booking agent, Michael Kelley.

Kelley says, "As soon as I heard this record, saw the 'live' show and met the team behind Bradley, I knew we had to be involved." He adds, "We are looking forward to being an instrumental part of this project's development."

The flagship artist for upstart 30A Life Records released his Keith Stegall–produced new album, aptly titled Unfinished Business, last week on all platforms [Listen HERE]. In celebration, Gaskin performed the entire album to a full house at AJ's Good Time Bar. The lead single, “Accidentally Drunk”—an anthem for all the barstool fools shedding tears in their tequila—is "top 10 most added" to country radio.

"I've got a great team supporting my music with my label, 30A Life Records, along with Dreamlined Entertainment and 16Camino" shares Gaskin. "Adding Michael with his experience to help my music come to life on stage is an exciting addition to my team's circle."

About Bradley Gaskin

When Bradley Gaskin finally picked up his Gibson J45 after a decade of self-doubt, he was responding to an inexorable pull he could no longer resist. Gaskin had left Nashville behind but couldn’t quite shake the feeling there was something there for him. Upon garnering the attention of a Music Row exec in 2008 after posting a rough demo of a self-penned song, Gaskin quickly signed a publishing deal, then a record deal. Poised to release his debut album in 2011 once his first single became a Top 40 country hit, everything came to a halt when his label deemed him too traditional. After Gaskin was released from his contract, he packed away his guitar, picked up his toolbox and headed back to Duck Springs, AL, to resume real life—which is where Jack Cole, a seasoned businessman and longtime fan, eventually found him. Offered the deal of a lifetime, Gaskin jumped at the chance to get back in the studio with the promise of recording the kind of music he wanted to write. True to his word, Cole started 30A Life Records, signing Gaskin as his first artist and brokering a deal with legendary producer Keith Stegall to produce Gaskin’s new album.
