“Phenomenon” highlights Morrison’s longtime friendship and creative bond with Cypress Hill’s B-Real and Sen Dog. The video premiered on Metal Injection today and can be seen below.

Billy Morrison shares, "Working with DMC & Cypress Hill has been a dream come true. They’re not just friends but legends who shaped hip-hop. Their energy made these songs unforgettable, breaking barriers with timeless music.”

"When I got the call from Billy I was excited about this collaboration! We’ve known each other for many years, shared many stages and we built up a friendship and chemistry throughout the years. So when the call came, I was in! It was killer being able to work on this project and we are stoked with how the track and the video came out," says B-REAL of Cypress Hill.

Morrison’s video for “Just Like a Movie” vividly captures the essence of his collaboration with DMC, a hip-hop pioneer and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Ovtlier Releases Live Studio Video for Single "Warriors"

Active rock powerhouse Ovtlier has unveiled a live studio video for their hard-hitting single, "Warriors". Stripping away the layers of studio polish, the band offers fans an authentic and raw rendition of the song, highlighting the integrity of their artistry.

Filmed at the iconic House of Guitars in Rochester, NY, the video pays homage to a legendary venue known for its deep roots in music culture. The band extends heartfelt gratitude to Bruce, Armand, Kurt, and the entire staff for their hospitality and support in bringing this project to life.

Frontman Joey Arena explains the inspiration behind the project:

"Stripped and raw. Live and unprocessed. We live in a time where music can be overproduced to mask a song’s integrity or an artist's ability. We enjoy our bells and whistles as well, but prefer to use them as tools and not crutches. We have decided to peel back the layers and record an intimate live-studio version of ‘Warriors.’"

Arena reflects on the creative process, sharing how it challenged his perspective and reignited his passion for authenticity:
"When we were in the final stage of mixing, it took my ears a moment to readjust and not overly nitpick the imperfections but rather find the beauty in the imperfection. The process re-sparked my love for its authenticity. I truly cannot wait for people to wrap their eyes and ears around this one!”

The video was filmed by Tyler White, engineered by Justin Passamonte, and mixed and mastered by Steve Sopchak, ensuring the final product captures the raw emotion and dynamic energy that have become hallmarks of Ovtlier's sound.

This track features Chris Motionless and was written by the band's lead vocalist and founder, Joey Arena, Justin DeBlieck (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White), Alecia “Mixi” Demnar (Stitched Up Heart) and Joel DeMartino. It was produced by Justin DeBlieck as well, while joining its predecessor as the second single mixed by Chris Dawson (SAUL, Any Given Sin) and mastered by Mike Kalajian (Bad Omens, The Plot In You). Due to the relationship between Chris Motionless and Joey, it was only a matter of time before the collaboration went into effect. With Ovtlier's dedication, nose to the grind work ethic and a star-studded team of support behind them, the success of "Warriors" as the band's most-accomplished single is inevitable!

WATCH the video below.

“'Warriors' is a song that’s just built different. It encompasses all of who and what Ovtlier is. Add a powerhouse like Chris to the mix and you have something extra special. I could not be more excited to collaborate with someone with such talent but even more, a friend!” says Joey Arena, the band's vocalist.

Chris Motionless adds, “I’ve been following Ovtlier for a while now and I see how bad they want it, and what they are willing to do to get it. It’s tough to find that kind of dedication these days, so I wanted to do my part in helping an up and coming band get some more eyes and ears on them. I love the song and it’s blend of genres I grew up loving, so it was an easy call to sing on Warriors.”

Honing in on a modern sound while consistently setting themselves apart from the mainstream, Ovtlier (pronounced "Outlier") prides themselves in creating exemplary rock and metal music backed by a rapidly growing fanbase. Ovtlier has earned over 8 million on demand streams across DSP platforms as well as more than 6 million views of user generated content on YouTube alone. In addition to their loyal fan base, the band has caught attention through achieving features in major media outlets such as Revolver, Loudwire, Alternative Press, Decibel and ABC News.

Continually hitting the Billboard charts, Ovtlier has been able to spread their sound nationwide through constant spins on FM radio and months of regular rotation on SiriusXM Octane- launching them into the forefront of their genre. Ovtlier has had 6 singles featured on SiriusXM Octane; "Who We Are", "Buried Me Alive", "Blame The Dead", "Living Dead", “Heartless” and their latest, “Dead Man Running”, winning the hearts of satellite radio listeners across the country and emphasizes the bands ability to stay creative while maintaining an ever-growing fanbase.

South Carolina's THE YETS share providential single "3's" with superb video, previewing debut album

South Carolina-based alternative rock outfit The Yets presents their new single "3's", an evocative, haunting song that recounts the story of a circus performer teetering on a highwire, using her precarious balance as a powerful metaphor for the challenges of life.

Previewing their debut album 'Pinup Girl', to be released in February, this new single arrives on the trail of the reverie-laden lead track, 'Define The Man'.  Both offerings showcase their evolution as artists, blending modern and classic rock elements to create music that feels both fresh and timeless.

Based in Myrtle Beach, The Yets features the creative synergy of guitarist-producer Craig Anderson Snook and vocalist Robin Wilson, both natives of the state. Their collaboration fuses Craig’s dynamic guitar work and production expertise with Robin’s rich, emotive vocals, resulting in a sound that is both powerful and distinctive.  Further highlighted by their multi-instrumental performance abilities, The Yets have developed a sound which is truly their own.  From composing to performing to production, Craig and Robin are a “duo” in the most genuine sense of the word.

As the song "3's" unfolds, the lyrics become a vivid illustration of her life as a performer – each line reflecting the beauty and danger of her art.  The imagery of the high wire evokes a sense of tension and vulnerability, symbolizing the constant struggle to maintain balance amidst the ups and downs of humanity.  She reflects on the thrill of the spotlight and the applause that once filled the air, eerily acknowledging the solitude that accompanies the act.

The chorus introduces the central theme of “3’s”, capturing the idea that life’s challenges often come in waves-trinity, calamity, and the search for serenity amidst it all.  Her realization that no one can save her from herself metaphorically deepens as she ponders the illusion of control and the fragility of her existence. Ultimately, the performer recognizes the beauty of her struggles yet understands she must face them alone.  Capturing the essence of resilience and the complexity of life, the song leaves its listeners with a sense of empathy and introspection, as they traverse high wires of their own.

"Life is a three-ring circus, where ego and pride take center-stage, performing illusions of perfection until the act unravels, revealing the calamity beneath. This song captures the tension between the false perfection of the ego and the inevitable unraveling of that facade, and also explores the discord between the constructed self-image and the underlying truth of human vulnerability," says Robin Wilson.

Craig Anderson Snook adds, "This song took on new dimensions for me when we did the video.  Robin's theme evolved into images that conjured even more "3's" in my mind ... earth, fire, sky ... birth, death, afterlife... body, soul, spirit ... the list could go on.  Musically, it crosses a few interesting borders from doom, to joy, to mystery; in sound."

In 2022, The Yets made their debut with a critically acclaimed eponymous EP, praised for its melodic sophistication and emotional resonance. They are now releasing their full-length album, "Pinup Girl", which showcases their evolution as artists, blending modern and classic rock elements to create a sound that feels both fresh and timeless.  Their music is marked by lush, atmospheric instrumentation, soulful melodies, and a seamless fusion of modern and classic rock influences, establishing The Yets as a distinctive presence in the alternative rock scene.

Craig Anderson Snook, who played guitar for several popular bands in the 1980s, such as Gross Negligence, brings decades of musical experience to the duo.  Robin, well known for her extensive touring with rock groups Skirt and  Bachelors of Art (B.O.A.), adds depth and passion to their music. Craig’s intricate compositions provide the perfect backdrop for Robin’s voice to soar, creating immersive and atmospheric landscapes that push the boundaries of alternative rock.

As of November 19, the "3's" single will be available fine online music stores and streamable via Spotify. The full album, out February 7, can be obtained digitally or on CD directly from the band via Bandcamp.

MOLOTOV SOLUTION Unleash Third & Final Chapter of Music Video Trilogy; “The Golden Tower”

Las Vegas deathcore titans Molotov Solution have released brand new track "The Golden Tower" . The new single marks the climactic finale to the terrifying music video trilogy, made in partnership with Versa Films, that has heralded their return from a decade long hiatus. Clocking in at five minutes and 30 seconds, the new opus brings the band's most progressive and ambitious composition yet, serving as a thunderous conclusion to a series that began with the unrelenting “Devour the Children” and continued with the crushing “Mortis Imperium", delivering a visual and sonic experience that explores themes of ultimate power, greed, and the inevitable collapse of societal structures. Fans can stream "Golden Tower" HERE and watch the music video below.

Speaking on the track, frontman Nick Arthur shares:

“‘The Golden Tower’ is the grand conclusion to our music video trilogy in partnership with Versa Films. It explores themes of ultimate power, greed, and the inevitable collapse of societal structures. This track stands apart from the visceral intensity of ‘Devour the Children’ and the relentless weight of ‘Mortis Imperium,’ introducing an epic, apocalyptic tone that reflects humanity's final descent. ‘The Golden Tower’ can be viewed as the most progressive song we’ve ever written, with dynamic compositions and sweeping heaviness that evoke the scale and inevitability of downfall. It is an emotional rollercoaster and a fittingly climactic end to the trilogy.”

Lyrically, “Golden Tower” delivers a stark reflection on humanity’s fragility, blending vivid storytelling with the band’s signature intensity. Lines such as “The tower sees all, it was built on lies / Golden bricks of deception, billions of eyes” expose the greed-driven, corruptively deceitful structures of modern society, while the track’s apocalyptic tone and dynamic compositions immerse listeners in the impending doom of societal collapse. Arguably the most ambitious of the three singles the band has released since their return, 'The Golden Tower' expands the boundaries of deathcore while staying rooted in the band’s unflinchingly veracious, politically charged ethos, giving fans a powerful statement that continues the band’s tradition of marrying relentless heaviness with thought-provoking themes.

This year has marked a triumphant return for Molotov Solution after a decade-long hiatus, with the trilogy of singles embodying the band’s renewed fire and uncompromising message:

- “Devour the Children”: A brutal exploration of sacrifice and betrayal, inspired by Goya’s Saturn Devouring His Son.

- “Mortis Imperium”: A cold, unrelenting take on systemic exploitation and the cycles of oppression.

- “Golden Tower”: The apocalyptic conclusion, bringing a progressive and cinematic edge to their signature sound.

Experience the final episode of Molotov Solution’s ambitious, cinematic music video trilogy as they deliver expansive sonic and visual world building that once again shatters the boundaries of heavy music and confronts the darkest aspects of humanity. Be ready for more coming in 2025.

ABOUT MOLOTOV SOLUTION

Molotov Solution returns in 2024, reawakened after a decade of silence with a renewed fire and an uncompromising vision. Known for their politically charged, ferociously heavy sound, the Las Vegas-based band is ready to reclaim their position at the forefront of extreme music. With a legacy built on confronting societal corruption, power struggles, and injustice, their return is a statement: the fight isn't over, and neither are they.

Molotov Solution’s 2011 album, Insurrection, is widely regarded as one of the most influential deathcore releases of its time,

shaping the genre for years to come. Sadly, the band went on indefinite hiatus after its release leaving a huge influence but a

gaping hole in deathcore genre. On November 1st, 204 they emerged from a decade-long hiatus with their powerful new single, “Devour The Children” a brutal and rageful statement of intent heralding the band's timely resurrection. Known for their fearless approach to exposing corruption and power struggles through their music, Molotov Solution’s voice is more vital than ever, delivering an unflinching soundtrack to the turbulent times we face with the fierce intent to challenge and resist.

Molotov Solution has always been more than just a deathcore band. They are a voice for those who resist, a sonic assault against the systems that oppress. As they step into this new chapter, they carry with them the same relentless energy that defined their past but with a sharpened edge and a deeper urgency. In a world that seems more chaotic and fractured than ever, their music is not just relevant—it is essential.

Fans can expect new music that continues to challenge listeners, both sonically and lyrically. Their signature blend of heavy, gut-punching riffs and politically infused messages will drive their upcoming releases, which promise to be as intense and confrontational as ever.

With new music and renewed determination, Molotov Solution are ready to unleash a new era of heavy music that will resonate with old fans and new alike.

SPIRITS BURNING LED BY DON FALCONE AND FEATURING HAWKWIND FAMILY MEMBERS RELEASE LIVE AT KOZFEST

Spirits Burning is a music collective led by Don Falcone. The band celebrate space, prog, new music, and other genres, and have included input from family members of Blue Öyster Cult, Clearlight, Gong, Hawkwind, Van der Graaf Generator, and many other groups, as well as Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson and British science fiction and fantasy writer Michael Moorcock. Spirits Burning have released 20 albums, featuring almost 300 musicians.

In 2017, Spirits Burning performed live in England at Kozfest. The line-up: Hawkwind family members Richard Chadwick (drums, vocals), Bridget Wishart (vocals, EWI), and Steve Bemand (guitar, vocals), plus Don Falcone (keyboards, vocals), Kev Ellis (Kaoss Pad, vocals), Martin Plumley (guitar, vocals), and Colin Kafka (bass). This was a rare live show, as Spirits Burning have historically been a studio project. With musicians, located across the world from the U.S. to Europe to Russia to Japan, live shows had never been considered, making this a monumental release for the band.

As Falcone explains, “Our first live album! It captures our journey through the Spirits Burning catalog. Launching with a three-song suite with Bridget on lead and EWI and her Chumley Warner Bros partner Martin Plumley on acoustic guitar – the rest of the band providing a weaving space rock landscape. Then two rockers with me on lead vocals, followed by two driving instrumentals that showcase our rhythm section of Richard, Colin and Steve, along with some fiery guitar solos by Steve. Next is a song with Kev on lead vocals, then our cover of ‘Images,’ a song that Bridget, Richard, and Steve performed with Hawkwind on an early Nineties tour. The set concludes with two vocal songs with Kev and Bridget sharing the mic. The album includes two bonus studio tracks, songs that we performed three nights earlier in Bath, and which we didn’t have time for at Kozfest. The full story of our gig and the year leading up to it is covered in a book I’ve written – ‘One Of The Spirits Burning (A Musical Memoir)’ – coming from Stairway Press in 2025.”

This release captures the band in a unique setting and covering tracks from throughout the bands career. A must have for all Spirits Burning and fans of Prog Rock.

"The 2025 line-up boasts a wide selection of curated sets, including a first ever live appearance of the original Gehenna line-up. The reformed band will perform a set based on their newly re-released three first albums. These are jewels in the Norwegian Black Metal canon and their brilliance can not be overstated. Pure class.

The album sees the band return to some of their metal roots, while still keeping their timeless prog elements firmly in place. What an album and what a treat it will be to see the Swedish master in the legendary Grieghallen.

Legendary Rockers BLUE ÖYSTER CULT Share Live Performance Video for "I Love The Night"

BLUE ÖYSTER CULT is celebrating the release of '50th Anniversary Live – Third Night,' the final installment of the live album celebrating the band’s 50th Anniversary.

In September of 2022, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT enthralled fans with a unique trilogy of sold-out shows, each dedicated to one of their first three albums. Founding member Albert Bouchard made a special appearance on all three nights, adding a nostalgic touch to the historic milestone.

For nearly three hours each night, the band delivered a spellbinding set, weaving through the entirety of their now-classic initial trilogy of albums and treating fans to a mix of favorites, deep cuts, and classic hits. The atmosphere was electric, and Frontiers Music captured the magic, releasing each night as a special individual package.

This electrifying performance, which includes the band’s third album 'Secret Treaties' performed back-to-back, hits shelves TODAY and promises to be a spectacular follow-up to the band's historic three-night stint at Sony Hall in NYC.

To help roll out the album's release, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT shares a new live performance video for "I Love The Night."

Watch the Live Performance Video for "I Love The Night" below.

BLUE ÖYSTER CULT's legacy spans over five decades, captivating fans with intelligent hard rock loaded with classic songs. Hailing from Long Island, NY, the band is renowned in the hard rock and heavy metal scene for their pioneering work, earning both critical acclaim and commercial success.

These live releases follow ‘Ghost Stories’ - a captivating collection of reimagined and completed songs from 1978 to 2016. These musical treasures, long considered the 'lost gems' by BLUE ÖYSTER CULT enthusiasts, were originally recorded between 1978 and 1983, except for one track from 2016, "If I Fell." Some material is from workshopping albums, some from performance rehearsals, and all were recorded once in the hopes that someday they'd see the light of day.

George Geranios, the band's original audio engineer and an integral part of the band's golden years produced the tracks along with BÖC and all were originally recorded on reel-to-reel analog tape. He transferred them to digital audio which is when modern AI and magical musical talents meet and the collection of vintage multi-track recordings was de-mixed, re-mixed, and produced by Steve Schenck and Richie Castellano to become 'Ghost Stories.'

Richie Castellano completed work in the studio for the album along with remaining original members Eric Bloom and Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser and both Albert Bouchard and Rick Downey appear on drums with additional overdubs recorded by Joe Bouchard. All these original lineup members appearing on 'Ghost Stories,' create a musical journey that traverses decades and promises easter eggs for days.

'Ghost Stories' celebrates the recording legacy of one of rock’s most iconic fixtures from the past 50 years.

Swiss rock legend Marc Storace’s own band, STORACE, announce the release of the album reissue of their first record 'Live And Let Live', in a special edition including a bonus live album, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

The focus track, “Midnite Maniac” and the accompanying visualizer, are also available now.

Marc Storace describes the new single, by saying:

“'Midnite Maniac' is a popular Krokus song from the 80’s that Krokus never play! It came off 'The Blitz' album. Back in the 80’s, MTV had the video on full rotation! It talks about a female serial killer.”

Talking about the album release, Storace comments:

Krokus had stopped to exist because of Covid and no one really knew what the outcome of the pandemic would be, so not wasting time I started working on a solo album! 'Live And Let Live' is rich in melodic vocals, colourful riffs, great guitar solos, many hooks and a solid driving rhythm section!!”

Watch the Music Video for "Midnite Maniac" below.

On the bonus album, Marc Storace notes:

“During the past three intensive years playing throughout Switzerland we recorded many gigs and the live album features the best of the crop, highlighting songs we recorded during hot performances in Zürich’s Hallenstadion as special guests of KISS, and The Scorpions, and whilst sharing the famous 'Rock The Ring Festival' stage with Alice Cooper and his notorious band."

“Included on the setlist are songs from Krokus which we never play, like 'Midnite Maniac' and 'To The Top'; also a beefed up version of 'Telephone Man' from my late seventies London band Eazy Money, he continues.

'Live And Let Live' is STORACE’s first official solo album. It was recorded during the 2021 lockdown of the Covid pandemic and was produced by Cyrill Camenzind and Massimo Buonanno at Powerplay Studios, near Zürich.

Cyrill, Massi, and Marc composed some of the songs together, and they played on the album which also features the talented musicians Marco Blöchlinger on bass, Christian Roffler on keys, Jean Pierre Von Dach on lead guitar, and Gee K, Micha Dettwyler and Céline Haleson backing vocals.

'Live And Let Live' was officially released in Switzerland on December 18, 2021, during a gig at the legendary Music-Club outside Bern called the “Mühle Hunziken." It was performed by the studio band, all except J.P. Von Dach, who had been replaced by Turi Wicki due to his heavy touring commitments with Joss Stone.

AU's Windwaker Announce "HYPERVIOLENCE" Expansion Pack + Share "Apathy"

Australia's WINDWAKER — vocalist Liam Guinane, guitarist Jesse Crofts, bassist Indey Salvestro, drummer Chris Lalic, and synths/samples specialist Connor Robins — released HYPERVIOLENCE this past summer via Fearless Records. The band also crashed domestic shores for their first-ever U.S. tour this summer, supporting Northlane. It was truly a smashing success where Windwaker won the audience over each and every night!

The band is thrilled to announce that it is dropping the HYPERVIOLENCE EXPANSION PACK deluxe record on February 14. Pre-order it here.

The EXPANSION PACK will feature three new tracks, plus a new version of "SIRENS" featuring TSS, the further details of which will be announced at a later date.

But today, they are sharing the visualizer for "Apathy." Watch and listen below.

"'Apathy' is a reflection of the growing fatigue in today's society — a catchy upbeat anthem wrapped in a dark biting tone," the band states. "It tackles the overwhelming noise of politics and the relentless chatter both online and offline that leaves so many feeling disillusioned and detached."

Shattering all restraint, Windwaker tear at the seams of their sonic boundaries, refining and finessing their craft into something truly unique. Concocting an unsuspecting recipe of electro-charged violence, sickly sweet pop hooks, bouncing hip-hop moments and slick riffage, the charismatic quintet move towards exciting new territory with each new release. And HYPERVIOLENCE is the summit of their efforts.

Windwaker will return to the U.S. for their second-ever tour of the market this coming winter with fellow Aussies Make Them Suffer. All dates are below.

Emerging out of Melbourne, Victoria, the Australian outfit has cultivated a dedicated and passionate fanbase, amassing millions of digital streams since their inception in 2017. Last July's release, "SIRENS," has cracked over 4.5 million Spotify streams in just a few months time, and saw the band travel across the nation in celebration on the Love In The Dark Tour with Caskets (UK) and alt., selling out nearly every date along the way.

The band's debut album Love Language was released in 2022 via Fearless Records and Cooking Vinyl, demonstrated an unpredictable and undeniable exploration of love across 12 tracks. Windwaker translate their electric and eclectic energy on record to the live stage, with JB Hi-Fi's STACK Magazine last year reviewing: "From full-on mosh to sensitive slowdance, the five-piece delivered a propulsive statement on the status of modern metalcore." The band have carved their name into the core of Australia's alternative music community and have toured alongside some of metal's most favored acts — Beartooth (US), I Prevail (US), Motionless In White (US), Enter Shikari (UK), Caskets (UK), Creeper (UK), Northlane, and more.

ABOUT LANDMVRKS:

LANDMVRKS were born in 2014 in Marseille, France.  For two years, the band composed songs, recorded and started playing local shows by sharing the bill with bands such as FIRST BLOOD, MORE THAN LIFE and little by little, LANDMVRKS started making a name for themselves in the French metalcore scene. During this time, the band released a few singles and videos to help build up their fan base. In May 2016, LANDMVRKS released their first album Hollow, entirely produced by Salfati and Exposito. They decided to release this album independently, and toured Europe to showcase this opus. They seduced their audiences with a modern metalcore style peppered with hardcore riffs and catchy choruses. This album helped secure them slots on big festivals, helping to strengthen their reputation.

In 2018, the band signed a contract with Arising Empire for their second studio album Fantasy and they demonstrated how successfully the band has managed to build their name and assert its own style. the next two years, they traveled the world, played in Japan, did some headlines tours and had the opportunity to have great European tours (While She Sleeps, Stray From The Path, Any Given Day).

While they were on the road, they had the time to focus on brand new material. The band members gathered together when lockdown ended in France, after one of the strangest periods ever experienced. The time had come for them to assemble, within the vocalist's studio (Homeless Records), the elements of their third album, fashioned for months. The purpose of this album, entitled Lost In The Waves, is clearly not to reinvent LANDMVRKS. The purpose is to fully deploy the band's arsenal in order to definitively impose its style. An uncompromising style, assumed, claimed, and highly distinctive. The listener goes through massive, energetic, or even aerial parts, without escaping the efficient groove inherited from a rap culture. The musical production of this album is the most accomplished and organic that the group has ever had. This album shows that instead of getting lost in the waves, the French band firmly holds the helm.

CHAYCE BECKHAM BROUGHT THE HOLIDAY CHEER EARLY TO HIS HOMETOWN OF APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA

PLATINUM selling #1 hit singer-songwriter Chayce Beckham returned to his hometown of Apple Valley, California yesterday, December 12, to visit the town’s local parks and recreation afterschool program at the Singh Center for the Arts. Partnering with Gibson Gives and FreeGuitars 4 Kids (FG4K), Beckham personally surprised 30 kids with brand-new guitars.

A cause near to his heart, the American Idol winner is passionate about giving back to his hometown. From his own experience growing up with music at the center, Beckham knows the positive impact music education can have on children and wants to continue to spotlight and support this mission within Apple Valley.

“Music has always been a big part of my life,” Beckham shared. “One of my most cherished memories is when my grandmother bought me my first guitar. Knowing the impact music can have on someone’s life, especially my own, I want to give these kids the same opportunity  and encourage them to dream big. I’m so grateful we were able to make yesterday a reality. Seeing their faces and getting to spend time with them reminds me why giving back is so important.”

"When kids hold a guitar for the first time, you can see their eyes light up with possibility. It's more than an instrument — it's a doorway to confidence, creativity and self-expression. Partnering with artists like Chayce Beckham shows these kids that their dreams are within reach. Chayce's journey from Apple Valley to the world stage is living proof that music can change a life. We're honored to stand with him and Gibson Gives to spark that same hope in the next generation,” said Ben Dudley, Executive Director of Free Guitars 4 Kids.

Doug Robertson, Town Manager of Apple Valley, continued: "We're incredibly grateful to Chayce Beckham and FG4K for their unwavering support of the arts in Apple Valley. Their dedication to fostering creativity and giving back to our youth truly makes a difference in our community. Thank you for inspiring the next generation!"

Currently climbing the country radio charts, his latest single “Everything I Need” follows his history-making, autobiographical “23” hitting #1 - both are featured on his debut album, Bad For Me

About Chayce Beckham

Three years after becoming the only artist to win American Idol singing his own songs, 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville country artist Chayce Beckham is living proof of his belief that “You can’t tell someone how to write a song.” Scoring his first nomination at this year’s CMT Music Awards for his PLATINUM #1 hit single “23,” the fiery singer-songwriter laid out a course only he could follow, and today remains even more dedicated to his unique creative compass. A California native schooled on tough times and a mix of country, rock, hip hop and beyond, Beckham started a habit of heart-on-his-sleeve songwriting after some hard times when he felt he had nothing left. When combined with his warm vocal rasp on “23,” Chayce’s drive helped him charm the nation on Idol's 19th season in 2021. With more than 406 million streams and counting, the bluesy and brutally honest anthem debuted at #1 on both iTunes’ Country and All Genre singles charts, and now leads Beckham’s first album, Bad for Me – available now – as the emerging star finds his stride. Co-writing nine of 13 songs (three solo), the project shows Beckham opening his soul like most would never dare and embracing a timeless country-rock sound defined by fiddles, steel guitar, and plenty of against-the-grain attitude. With dusky shades of heroes like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, the set aims to reinforce next-big-thing and “artist to watch” predictions from CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow and more. Headlining his own “Bad For Me” tour along with opening for  Luke Bryan and Parker McCollum this year, Beckham’s latest single “Everything I Need” is climbing the country radio charts now.

About Free Guitars 4 Kids:
Free Guitars 4 Kids (FG4K) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children in underserved communities through the gift of a guitar. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, and creative growth that comes from owning and learning to play a musical instrument.

Since our founding in June 2020, FG4K has placed over 2,000 guitars in the hands of children across 23 states and two foreign countries. But we don’t just give guitars — we give kids a pathway to growth. By partnering with schools, after-school programs, and community organizations, we ensure that each child receives the mentorship and support they need to thrive musically and personally. Our partners provide ongoing lessons and guidance, making our gift transformational, not transactional.

Through collaborations with renowned brands like Gibson, and support from artists like Chayce Beckham, FG4K is inspiring a new generation of musicians. We know that playing music builds creativity, cognitive skills, and mental focus, and it empowers kids to dream big. Our vision is to expand this impact globally, ensuring no child is denied the opportunity to explore their musical potential due to financial hardship.

From Crew to Photographer, Unsung Hero to Manager: Chesney's SUN GOES DOWN 2024 Nabs 17 Noms

Since Kenny Chesney broke the million tickets in a single year touring cycle in 2002, the 8-time Entertainer of the Year has placed a premium on people. His love of No Shoes Nation is boundless, but his commitment to his touring organization is truly worthy of the “road family” name he gave them.

With the Country Music Association announcing their coveted Touring Awards nominations, Chesney’s road family brings home a staggering 17 nominations, from Crew of the Year through Unsung Hero; a testament to the team-building, hard work and unbridled joy of inhabiting the war cry: “Who lives like we do? WE DO!”

“When they called me to tell me the news,” Chesney raved, “I felt like a bit of slacker. I love my guys and the girls out on the road, in the office and points in between. They fire me up, inspire me to push what we do – and this year was easily the best year we’ve ever had on the road.

“Whether it’s Terry Ford driving the Knoxville bus, Nick Buda beating those drums, Tom Petty’s incredible Robert Scovill mixing front of house or rock & roll legend Robin Majors as Unsung Hero, everybody out there gives to the peak, then throws it all at the music when we take the stage. I’ve got lifers like my longtime manager Clint Higham, who’s been here for all of it, my tour manager and best friend growing up David Farmer and who-says-we-can’t? production manager Ed Wannebo all making my crazy ideas happen.

“Back home, Mike Betterton at Wasser getting it booked, Richards & Southern making the t-shirts happen, and Janet Buck at Essential Broadcast Media getting the word out, that’s some anchor,” the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar continued.  “Add in the Swiss Army knife Jill Trunnell, who hangs from stadium signs, as photographer, business manager Renee Allen who makes it all add up, Jay Cooper cutting all that live video together, Philip Ealy lighting so everyone can see – and our stage manager Tom Nisun, who not only came up with ‘Who lives like we do? We do,’ but runs a short order burger grill on the back of our stadium stages, we’re talking some pretty unbelievable people out there.”

Having spent two decades building a crew that’s one of the most beloved by all the venues on the road, Chesney has empowered his teams to reach further, defy convention and create new ways of creating the best night of the summer for the citizens of No Shoes Nation. Whether the vibe, the sound, the look or the way people come together, the Sun Goes Down 2024 crew sought to create a space where love was all, music rocked and memories were made.

With well over 19 million fans played to this century, nearly a billion and a half dollars generated, more than 200 stadiums and 1,000 shows played, the man the Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” has established a standard by which he’s become one of the true rights of summer – and an artist whose songs have defined what it means to live, love, work and dream across America’s heartland.

“We all work hard, play hard, dream hard and rock hard,” Chesney allows. “It’s great seeing the people who push me, who create this very special environment with me and deliver night after night at the top of their game recognized. I can say ‘thank you’ over and over again, but when they’re acknowledged by the industry where they do this incredible work? To me, that’s the highest honor they can have. Seeing so many names of people who’ve helped build this? That tells you about the Sun Goes Down 2024 team.”

Dutch Futuristic Metallers CRYPTOSIS Announce New Album 'Celestial Death' Out March 7th via Century Media Records

Following their acclaimed 'Bionic Swarm' debut album (2021) and the EP 'The Silent Call' (2023), Dutch futuristic metallers CRYPTOSIS return with a mighty, awe-inspiring sophomore album entitled 'Celestial Death', set for worldwide release on March 7th, 2025 via Century Media Records.

As the first example of the intense material available on 'Celestial Death' a first single entitled “Faceless Matter” has been made available today across digital platforms and is also accompanied by a video produced by the film production company F/53, available to view below.

CRYPTOSIS comments about the track:

“With 'Faceless Matter', we’re opening the new album 'Celestial Death'. The song dives into a future where individuality fades, and people become part of one collective mind, haunted by the loss of self. This track brings a darker, heavier, and more symphonic sound. Welcome to the new era of CRYPTOSIS.”

Watch the Video for "Faceless Matter"

CRYPTOSIS checked in with the following comment about 'Celestial Death':

“We’re excited to announce our new album! A sonic journey that pushes all boundaries of everything we created before. This album represents our evolution - an exploration of darkness that’s both vast and cinematic. 'Celestial Death' pulls you into a haunting atmosphere with relentless heaviness. Each track digs deeper into the enigma of existence, decay and fragile hope. 'Celestial Death' is our darkest vision yet - a soundtrack to the chaotic world we live in. It’s heavier, bolder, and still very much CRYPTOSIS. We can’t wait for you to experience it, and join us in this new chapter. Prepare to ascend. The 'Celestial Death' awaits!".

Recorded by Olaf Skoreng at Tom Meier and Studio Moon Music between April and August 2024, mixed by Fredrik Folkare at Chrome Studios (Unleashed, Necrophobic, Hellbutcher) in Sweden and finally mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Studios (Arch Enemy, Borknagar, Amorphis) in Sweden too, 'Celestial Death' once more comes with artwork by Eliran Kantor (Kreator, Testament, My Dying Bride) and showcases the group on a darker, heavier, more melodic and extremely cinematic journey across its 11 tracks / 42 minutes of playing time.

UK Alt-Pop Trio EXPLORING BIRDSONG Close a Chapter, Begin a New Era with "All I Lack" + Music Video

Piano-led, guitar-less British trio EXPLORING BIRDSONG closes the current chapter of its band history with their new single "All I Lack." From now on the band is fully focused on the future, gearing up for their debut album release in 2025.

"'All I Lack' being the last single ahead of our album release feels pretty profound," says EXPLORING BIRDSONG"It would make sense for this song to indicate where we’re headed next and let our listeners into what has been happening at Birdsong HQ, but that has never really how we’ve chosen to operate. This song has shades of old (in the most literal sense - there are actual parts and stems from old songs in here) and new, whilst still being totally true to us, which feels fitting as we move ahead in our next phase as a band.

"Essentially a love song, we’re tapping into new areas of songwriting that we’re starting to become more comfortable with exploring. Lyrically, 'All I Lack' faces the beauty of the feeling of loving someone, whilst knowing your time together at some point will end; and, as a result, wanting to almost stretch time so it never has to end. Arguably, it is easier to write whilst staying within the parameters of a concept or narrative. Writing about real life takes a degree of introspection that can be uncomfortable sometimes but essential in taking us to new places and maturing our writing. This one means a lot to us and feels like a great way to close this chapter of the band. We can’t wait for people to guess what on earth this album is going to be like!"

Rarely are new groups as exciting, talented or unique as EXPLORING BIRDSONG. Straddling pop, rock and uncategorisable genre-blending beauty, the band are unplaceable for the most part, but bring to mind elements of London Grammar, Kate Bush and Everything Everything.

Rarely too do you hear voices as captivating as frontwoman Lynsey Ward’s. Powerful, controlled, and spine-chillingly tender, Lynsey’s vocals help mark EXPLORING BIRDSONG as a prospect to watch, from the release of their acclaimed debut 'The Thing With Feathers' (2019, Long Branch Records) to 2023's EP 'Dancing in the Face of Danger.'

THE HELLACOPTERS - Release Video For New Single '(I Don't Wanna Be) Just A Memory'

High-energy rock'n'roll royalty, THE HELLACOPTERS, are pleased to present a brand new single from their much anticipated new studio album Overdriver today.

'(I Don't Wanna Be) Just A Memory' sees the band take on the (post)modern preoccupation with nostalgia.

Forgoing influences like the MC5 or KISS, '(I Don't Wanna Be) Just A Memory' nods more to powerpop pioneers THE WHO, THE RASPBERRIES, or even BADFINGER with its major/minor shifts, offering up hidden harmonic treasures while still beating to the 'Copters' signature driving pulse.

Like past favorites 'No Song Unheard' or 'Carry Me Home', '(I Don't Wanna Be) Just A Memory' reminds us of the band's unique capacity to temper their furious-paced action rock with a songwriting sensibility that transcends their genre.

Play it loud!

Of course, there's also an audio-visual treat in the form of a brand new music video for the track by director Emil Klinta, which includes behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions. You can watch it below.

ABOUT THE HELLACOPTERS

Less than three years after their triumphant, chart-storming comeback record, Eyes Of Oblivion, which entered at #1 in their home country, on #3 in Germany, and on #6 in Finland, Sweden's most consistently great rock outfit is back with another banger of an album called Overdriver, due out on January 31st, 2025.

In the meantime, THE HELLACOPTERS have celebrated their triumphant return by playing a show with the mighty Iron Maiden in Gothenburg in July 2022, and gigs with Ghost in Germany in June 2023, apart from their own string of headline shows throughout Europe. Eager to keep the rock flowing, February 16th, 2024 saw THE HELLACOPTERS release not one, but two stunning versions of their classic Grande Rock album, which was originally released in 1999. Grande Rock Revisited included a remastered original version and a remixed and partially re-recorded version as a companion piece, showing how the album could have sounded in a parallel universe with guitarist Dregen being in the band at the time. After making rock grande again, the group set sights on new material, debuting the phenomenal single 'Stay With You'  in May 2024 and releasing it as a limited 7-inch via Lightning Records.

Their ninth full-length Overdriver was recorded at Strawberry Studio & The Honk Palace and is the first HELLACOPTERS album entirely produced by Nicke Andersson. As you might expect from a HELLACOPTERS album it's filled to the brim with roaring guitars and earth-shattering grooves, fist-raising energy, and anthemic choruses, while keeping the variety richer than ever before. The striking cover for Overdriver was created by German illustrator Max Löffler.

Fronted by Craig Johns Jr. and featuring Alan Ashby (Of Mice & Men) on guitar, The Dark's lineup is rounded out by bassist Nick Goins and drummer Derek Vautrinot. The EP promises to be a harrowing exploration of the darker facets of human nature, drawing inspiration from industrial and ''90s rock icons like Nine Inch Nails and Deftones, blended with a modern edge.

The band has already made waves with their debut single, "Chemicals," which racked up over 200,000 streams on Spotify within a month and earned international radio play. Their subsequent single, "Slip Away," climbed active rock radio charts and further cemented their reputation as a rising force in the rock scene.

Hunter Oliveri Shares "Queen of the Slum" Video

Hunter Oliveri, the 18-year-old talent who has been steadily buzzing and creating a name for himself, is closing out 2024 with the video for his new single "Queen of the Slum."

Watch it below

The song is a grungy, alt-pop jam paired with a truly relatable lo-fi video shot on handheld cameras by Hunter and a bunch of his friends. If you haven't been shirtless in a shopping cart and feverishly raced down the street you grew up on, have you ever even been young?

"'Queen of the Slum' is about being young in a relationship and how love feels like an unpolished but exciting time in life where we are all trying to find our place in the chaos," Oliveri says.

Oliveri previously shared the tracks "Novocain," "Stranger," "Dumb," "Spiraling Out," and "SCUM."

Go ahead and further familiarize yourself with the artistry of Hunter Oliveri.

ABOUT HUNTER OLIVERI:
So what else do you need to know about Hunter Oliveri, whose previous single "Kids" was tipped by Pigeons + Planes? Plenty!

His songs channel the alternative and grunge blueprint of his musical heroes — like Chris Cornell and Soundgarden, Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins — imbued with the playful opaqueness of Kurt Cobain's lyricism and the easy slacker hooks of Weezer.

Like all of Oliveri's music, it speaks to the messiness of growing up. It sounds exactly like that, too. He simply writes what he knows.

There are songs about partying too hard and songs about loving too much; songs about last night's headrush highs and the morning-after's anxious comedown. There are songs for when you seek the comfort of relatability, and there are songs for when you want to simply say "fuck it all."

They are the product of the humble authenticity of someone who's grown up in a place no different to a million others the world over. Most have never heard of Paso Robles, CA, and might never again. There's sunshine, strip malls, and vineyards that outnumber venues ten to one, where the nearby underground music scene of San Luis Obispo a few miles down the road is more accessible than anything resembling the bright lights of L.A. two hours to the south or San Francisco up north. "It's a boring city, but we make the most of it," Oliveri shrugs. "We'll go skating, or hang out and smoke. And anyway, it's fun to go moshing in someone's basement."

It's no surprise, then, that Oliveri is used to creating more interesting scenes than those that existed outside his window. As a kid, he would do so in the stories he dreamt up in his bedroom. "I like writing stories about worlds I'd want to live in," he says, "which made my own world seem so much bigger."

Such creativity inevitably morphed into songwriting in his early teenage years — though music had long since embedded itself within him. "I was probably four years old when I first heard 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' around my parents’ house," he recalls of music's omnipresence in his life. "I never knew the name of the song but every time I heard it, I'd be like, shit, it's that song. It would give me this majestic feeling." He laughs that his mom holds a video recording of her son gamely plucking through a rendition of a Metallica song (it was the epic "One") at his Kindergarten graduation performance. His dad — an avid fan of Korn and Tool — meanwhile tells him that his parents met at Woodstock; not the peace-and-love of Woodstock '69, but, more aptly, the confusion-and-chaos of Woodstock '99.

A chance meeting at age 14 with a local producer's father while in a coffee shop with his grandpa was the first domino to fall in Oliveri's music story. The rest is a history still to be written. "I've been so incredibly lucky, but I've manifested this, too," he says. "I've always known writing music would be my life. I just had to make it happen. It was hard to find kids around my city that played instruments and wanted to be in a band, but I've been writing songs every day in my bedroom since I was maybe 13 years old. It takes me to a different place."

Those songs are anthems for those disassociated with the world on their doorstep, the soundtrack to growing up marooned inside a digital world that Oliveri speaks of with disdain as "rotting people’s brains."

"I want to bring people into my world through my music," he adds. "I want people to feel something when they listen to my music, and to relate to me, and for me to be a friend and an outlet for them."

And as for everything else?

Well, he'll figure it out as he goes.

Mandoki Soulmates puts this question at the heart of their latest acclaimed album, A Memory Of Our Future, which has attracted worldwide attention as a musical masterpiece, in Europe, and particularly in the USA and UK: Called “A modern-day Jazz Progressive Rock masterpiece” by Goldmine Magazine, and said by Forever Music “the album of the year,” fans and music press alike have hailed the album for carrying the flag for the future of Prog Rock through its timeless and socio-politically relevant musical messages conveyed in a super high-end audiophile format, in what band leader Leslie Mandoki calls, with a sly smile,“a revenge of the analog.”

After this summer’s simultaneous release of the new album and packed-house European concert successes with the full line-up of this “band of bandleaders” playing the album live, A Memory Of Our Future is receiving accolades for the compositional maturity of its songs, the virtuosity of the performances from Europe’s favorite supergroup of jazz-and prog-rock legends, as well as for the audiophile analog production with a deeply American feel, generating great enthusiasm from Stateside listeners.

On November 29, a strictly limited deluxe X-mas edition of the album A Memory Of Our Future has been released worldwide on White X-mas Vinyl for the highest sound quality. Produced completely in the analog domain, audiophiles have lauded the production quality of A Memory Of Our Future, and coming shortly, the album will also be available on ¼” studio master tape for the ultimate analog audiophile experience.

Courage is calling for people like us! Stay Loud for a future in freedom and peace!

Music has always been humanity's greatest unifier, and now more than ever we need it to unite us.

Together, across generations—for a common future in a better world.”

TAG Publicity Mourns the Loss of Co-Owner Tom George

Tom George passed away on Wednesday night December 11 from a massive heart attack.  Tom, along with his wife Tracy own TAG Publicity.  Due to them owning their own business Tom George did not have life insurance so the family needs help with the insurmountable hospital bills accumulating along with the funeral costs. Tom was a loving husband & father.

Tom was a remarkable man whose passion, dedication, and tireless work ethic transformed the world of music publicity. But beyond the press releases, the interviews, and the media campaigns, Tom was a true believer in the power of music—not just as an art form, but as a force that could move people, bring people together, and change lives. He lived his dream!

As a music publicist, Tom had a gift for seeing the heart of an artist, and understanding what made them special. He didn’t just promote music; he helped shape stories, craft narratives, and give voice to the people behind the music. Tom was everyone's friend, he listened, he also loved talking.  Whether working with a rising star, an iconic legend, or a band on the verge of breaking through, Tom was the unsung hero in the background, tirelessly fighting to make sure the world heard what they already knew: that these artists and their work mattered.  He put his blood, sweat tears and literally his life into his work.

But what truly set Tom apart was their integrity and unwavering belief in the artistry of music. He was more than just a publicist—He was a champion for the artist. He believed in music's transformative power, and they understood that behind every press kit and media appearance, there was a person, a dream, and a journey that deserved to be heard. Whether it was late nights or not sleeping at all while he was working on an album launch, chasing down the perfect media placement, or navigating the ever-evolving landscape of the music industry, Tom gave his life to help others realize their dreams. And in doing so, they made the dreams of countless artists, fans, and colleagues come true.
