Miranda Lambert has announced the final dates for her critically acclaimed “Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency” at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The final nine shows will take place in March and April of 2024.  
 
Designed exclusively for Bakkt Theater and promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, “Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency” gives fans an up close and personal opportunity to experience live performances of Lambert’s numerous chart-topping songs and beloved album cuts.
 
“As someone who’s lived on a bus and toured from city-to-city for more than half my life, having a Vegas residency has been such a fun change of pace creatively,” shares Lambert. “The band and I are excited to keep this party going!”
 
Tickets for the final shows go on sale to the public Friday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. PT. Fan club members will have access to a presale starting Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. PT.

Scotty McCreery Invited to Become a Member of the Grand Ole Opry

Multi-Platinum selling country artist Scotty McCreery was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry tonight by Opry member Garth Brooks. McCreery was surprised onstage during his spotlight artist performance at tonight’s Opry Country Christmas show.
 
“Merry Christmas,” Garth said walking onto the stage handing McCreery a wrapped gift. “This is a Christmas present to the Grand Ole Opry,” Garth later continued. “We would love to invite you to be the newest member of the Opry.”
 
“Holy cow. Yes, I would love to,” McCreery replied. “I grew up listening to your records Garth and you’re a part of what made me want to do this for a living and I didn’t think that dream would become a reality, but it is because of all of y’all sitting in this house tonight. God bless y’all.” 
 
McCreery continued, “When I got started doing this people asked, ‘what are your goals,’” voice cracking with emotion McCreery shared, “and I’d say ‘one day I’d like to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry.’” Then bent down and touched the circle of wood in the Opry’s center stage where so many of his heroes and peers have stood.
 
“We’re thrilled to extend this much-anticipated invitation to our friend Scotty,” said Opry Executive Producer Dan Rogers. “Whether he’s on the Opry performing his hits, putting his spin on some old favorites during a performance on one of our Opry Country Classics shows, or offering a holiday set as he did tonight, Scotty consistently delivers and is always at home on the Opry stage. Coldwards Release New Single "Flatline" + Official Music Video

Alternative Metal band COLDWARDS released their new single "Flatline" along with the official music video to all major platforms via Wake Up! Music Rocks. "Flatline" is from their forthcoming EP Bad News.

"For us, 'Flatline' has a very personal meaning, it was written as a tribute to guitarist Wayne Swinny from Saliva who passed away in March but for the listeners it becomes an anthem for loved ones we lost way to soon," says Paul Crosby.

The band plans on hitting festivals in early 2024.

Coldwards (pronounced Cold-Words) is a five-piece rock band from Houston Texas comprised of drummer Paul Crosby of Grammy nominated + Gold and Platinum awarded Saliva (Click Click Boom, Always, Your Disease), as well as Paul's sons Sean Crosby (Vocals/Guitar) and Zac Crosby (Vocals/Electronics). Richie Hey is on bass and Michael Friese on guitar.

Together they make a powerhouse of heavy yet melodic riffs with immensely catchy hooks. Coldwards are a very percussive and vocal dominated style of music with chunky riffs and most of all deep lyrics with a message for today’s youth.

Since their appearance on YouTube in February 2023, EIHWAR has shook the Internet and concert venues. Although no promotion has been made and nothing is known about the two musicians, most of EIHWAR's concerts are sold out and we already know that the band will be scheduled at big European festivals in 2024.

Being part of a new generation of neo-Viking bands, they produce an empowering and brutal dancefloor music, composed of hybrid sounds, trance vocals, shamanic drums, traditional Nordic sounds and powerful machines. FOUNDING MEMBER OF BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, ALBERT BOUCHARD SET TO RELEASE THE FIRST IMAGINOS GRAPHIC NOVEL

Albert Bouchard is best known as a founding member of Blue Öyster Cult. The original lineup sold millions of albums for Columbia Records, with such classic songs as “(Don’t Fear) the Reaper” and the number one hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart “Burning for You.” Bouchard contributed to songwriting and lead vocals on some of its greatest songs, such as “Cites on Flame With Rock and Roll.”

Albert Bouchard has recently completed the Imaginos trilogy with the release of Imaginos III – Mutant Reformation. From Fall to Spring are newcomers from the southwest of Germany who have dedicated themselves to melodic new metal. A rite-of-passage concept album with a young character called Travla at the centre of it, ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’s’ 13 tracks have an autobiographical angle for the musician who says about his 30th solo release: “I love this album. It says the things I’ve been wanting to say for a very long time.”
 
Today he is pleased to reveal the first single, and the albums opening track, ‘People of the Smoke’, and you can watch the video now.

Steve says of the track: “People of the Smoke spins us all back in time to 1950, when bustling post-war London was stifled with smog from trains, chimneys, industry and smokers. I was born into that world! This song kicks off an album following my life’s journey both literally and metaphorically…”

‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’ is Steve’s first new music in over two years. Recorded between tours in 2022 and 2023 at Siren studio in the UK – with guest parts beamed in from Sweden, Austria, the US, Azerbaijan and Denmark, the line-up for ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’ includes some familiar faces alongside Steve on electric and acoustic guitars, 12-string, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, bass and vocals. Roger King (keyboards, programming and orchestral arrangements), Rob Townsend (sax), Jonas Reingold (bass), Nad Sylvan (vocals), Craig Blundell (drums) and Amanda Lehmann on vocals. Nick D’Virgilio and Hugo Degenhardt return as guests on the drum stool, engineer extraordinaire Benedict Fenner appears on keyboards and Malik Mansurov is back with the tar. Finally, Steve’s brother John Hackett is present once more on flute.

Summing up ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’, Steve says: “It’s a lovely journey that starts dirty, scratchy and smoky and becomes heavenly and divine. How can you resist it?”

Friday, March 29: The tour starts at The Hub at 11.00 A.M.. After a brief introduction to Edvard Munch and his art, we will take a short walk to the Munch Museum. The guided tour will take you through the exhibitions Edvard Munch Infinite and Edvard Munch Monumental: these collection exhibitions invite you to explore the world of Edvard Munch, to experience famous motifs such as The Scream, Madonna, Vampire, The Sun, as well as other major works. The guided tour will end at 13.00, at the roof terrace on the 12th floor, with a unique view of the city. If you want to spend some more time at the Munch Museum, you have access to all the other exhibitions until closing time. Saturday, March 31: The tour starts at The Hub at 11.00 A.M., with a short introduction to Edvard Munch’s life and art. We will take the tram to the Ekeberg Sculpture Park on the hillside of Oslo, to the vantage point where Munch got the inspiration to paint The Scream. After a walk through the Sculpture Park, we will have a short brake at Karlsborg Inn for some refreshment, enjoying the view on central Oslo and the Munch Museum. We will take the tram back to the city centre and walk over to the Munch Museum. The guided tour will take you through the exhibitions Edvard Munch Infinite and Edvard Munch Monumental: these collection exhibitions invite you to explore the world of Edvard Munch. The guided tour will end at 15.00, at the roof terrace on the 12th floor, with a unique view of the city. If you want to spend some more time at the Munch Museum, you have access to all the other exhibitions until closing time. NOK 450 per person + ticket fee. We will walk for ½ hour through the city centre to Munch-places such as the Grand Café on the parade street Karl Johan, to Pilestredet 30, where Munch spent seven years of his childhood, to the University of Oslo’s downtown campus and the Aula, with the huge decorations The Sun, The History and Alma Mater, to the National Museum. Before the guided tour starts in the iconic Munch-room we will have a short break in the cafeteria for some refreshments. The tour will end at 15.00 in the National Museum, but you have access to all the other exhibitions until closing time. NOK 450 per person + ticket fee..
